My friend's girlfriend, Shan, wasn't particularly beautiful, but she was still pretty—a cute face, 158cm tall,
and fairly well-proportioned. From her appearance, you could tell she was the kind of person who liked to have fun. One noon, my colleague came to me complaining, saying he
'd broken up with his girlfriend. He said it was probably because she had a bad temper, they argued all the time, and she was quite wild,
often going out with other guys. He couldn't stand it anymore and broke up with her.

During this time, there were constant phone calls, mostly arguing; I didn't really listen to the details.

Shan: Busy, all you ever do is busy. She broke up

Why would I comfort you if not my friend? I was just going to say a few words and hang up, but she started
crying again, saying she was heartbroken and stuff. I was getting annoyed, so I said, "Okay, I understand.
I'll comfort you properly when I have time, okay?" I was just being polite, but she took it seriously and said, "Okay, then you're busy.
Can you come over when you're done? I really hope you can comfort me. After all, you're her friend. I just
can't get over this. I want to find someone to talk to about it seriously. I hope I can
forget her."

I agreed and hung up, thinking, "You're a slut yourself, pretending to be innocent. What a load of crap
! I'll expose you when I talk to you, and see what you have to say then."

Actually, I hadn't planned to go and comfort her, but then the phone rang again the next day at noon.

Me: Hello?

Shan: Are you still busy?

Me: Yes, I've been busy at work lately.
