Which type of condom is best for painless use?

    page views:1  Publication date:2023-03-28 08:16:42
Modern life is increasingly fast-paced, and technological advancements have brought greater convenience. In sexual activity, many couples choose condoms as their first option. As one of the greatest inventions of the 21st century, condoms make sexual intercourse safer and more reliable. Condoms, also known as birth control condoms, are effective in preventing sperm and infectious diseases. However, because the material of condoms can sometimes affect the sensation during intercourse, many different types of condoms with different functions have been designed on the market. So, which condoms are best to use during sex?
1. What types of condoms are there?
There are no explicit regulations regarding the product classification of condoms. Generally speaking, based on their nominal width, condoms can be divided into three types: large, medium, and small. A condom with a nominal width of 55 mm is equivalent to the previously used size φ35 or large condom; a condom with a nominal width of 52 mm is equivalent to φ33, or medium condom; and a condom with a nominal width of 49 mm is equivalent to φ31, or small condom.
2. How to distinguish between condoms?
Condoms can be categorized by thickness into regular, thin, and ultra-thin types. Thickness refers to the thickness of a single wall layer, typically ranging from 0.04 to 0.07 millimeters, with the thinnest being 0.03 millimeters. The Japanese were pioneers in producing ultra-thin condoms and prefer them. Americans generally use thicker condoms (0.05-0.07 millimeters). Some commercially available condoms are labeled as ultra-thin at 0.02 millimeters, but testing shows they do not actually reach this thickness. Ultra-thin condoms reduce the feeling of something in the body during intercourse, while thicker condoms increase the chance of breakage. If using ultra-thin condoms, choose reputable brands.
3. What shapes of condoms are available?
Condoms are cylindrical in shape and can be categorized as follows: a) Standard type (smooth or flat): with a reservoir tip and a smooth body; b) Tight-tip type; c) Condom type: with 1-4 narrow sections on the body.
4. How are condoms manufactured?
From the perspective of the surface processing of the condom's body film, there are granular and ribbed types. Granulated condoms are further divided into those with varying sizes of granules. Ribbed condoms are also known as annular condoms. Condoms with this type of processing can more or less increase stimulation to the vaginal wall, improving the quality of sexual intercourse. The above two types of condoms are often referred to as custom-made condoms.
5. What types of lubricated condoms are available?
Lubricated condoms are classified into silicone-based condoms and water-based condoms, depending on the type of lubricant used. Early rubber condoms were unlubricated, and their excessive dryness often caused the condom to break or damage the vaginal mucosa. Americans were the first to apply lubricants such as glycerin and ethylene glycol to condoms, and silicone oil was introduced in 1960. Early condoms produced in my country used talcum powder as a lubricant and barrier agent, but this practice was phased out because talcum powder often caused chronic cervicitis and skin allergies.
Since the 1980s, my country has been using methyl silicone oil lubricant, which not only provides lubrication but is also non-irritating, making it both hygienic and suitable. In recent years, water-soluble lubricant condoms have also appeared on the Chinese market.
6. How to use colored condoms
Condoms made with latex should be transparent and colorless or pale milky white. Since the Japanese first added color to condoms in 1949, countries around the world have successively introduced various colored condoms, such as black, red, blue, green, and yellow. Colored condoms are also currently sold in the Chinese market. The advent of colored condoms serves two purposes: firstly, to alleviate some people's aversion to condoms, and secondly, to increase their attractiveness. People can choose to use different colored condoms based on their color preferences or their current mood.
7. Are scented condoms good?
In my country, this is a type of condom with added fragrances, introduced in the early 1990s. The added fragrances include rose and osmanthus scents, among others.
8. Are medicated condoms good?
This is because condoms containing nonyl alcohol ether spermicide, anti-inflammatory drugs, sexual arousal delay agents, erection enhancers, etc., are called double-insurance, medicated, or delay-type condoms, and are collectively referred to as medicated condoms.
It's important to note that currently popular flavored condoms, such as strawberry and chocolate, can easily cause vaginal inflammation in women. If you choose these products, closely monitor for any abnormal vaginal discharge and use them sparingly. There are also "glow-in-the-dark" condoms that use phosphorus-based coatings to produce light and enhance sexual pleasure. Phosphorus is a stronger sensitizer, so please choose carefully based on your individual circumstances and avoid blindly pursuing novelty.
