6 types of sex-enhancing exercises

Exercise is a powerful "sexual aphrodisiac." American actress Jennifer Aniston once said, "My favorite exercise equipment is my husband and our bed." Exercise can boost confidence, stimulate the release of sex hormones, increase blood flow to the genitals, enhance erogenous zones, and quickly "warm up" a woman's body, allowing both partners to achieve a truly exhilarating experience.

1. Jogging. Sedentary men have the highest rate of erectile dysfunction, but just 20-30 minutes of brisk walking or jogging daily can reverse this to some extent. Furthermore, after a year of jogging, 62% of women experienced significant improvements in their sex life; 26% achieved orgasm every time.

2. Pelvic floor exercises. Rhythmically contract and relax the PC muscles (pelvic floor muscles), such as contracting for 3 seconds and then relaxing for 3 seconds; inhale when contracting and exhale when relaxing. Alternatively, during urination, pause the flow for a few seconds before continuing. This exercise not only makes orgasms more intense but also accelerates the metabolism of the genitals and helps prevent various infections. Practicing leg raises, sit-ups, and hip lifts are also good ways to improve pelvic floor muscle strength.

3. Tai Chi. A US survey showed that 37% of people who started practicing Tai Chi experienced a significant increase in the frequency of their sexual activity; after a period of time, 10% had sex every day, and 29% had sex 3-5 times a week.

4. Partner Yoga. The Kama Sutra proposes 64 sexual positions, many of which incorporate the essence of yoga. Practicing yoga can improve flexibility and help couples achieve perfect harmony. If yoga poses are too difficult, start with basic abdominal breathing. Couples kneel together, adjust their breathing, and slowly inhale using the contraction of abdominal muscles, gradually tightening the PC muscles; slowly exhale, expanding the abdomen and relaxing the whole body. Practicing for 10 minutes daily can enhance erections, help concentrate, and relieve tension and anxiety during sex.

5. Back Stretch. After sex, try stretching your back as an afterplay activity. The man should keep his back straight, extend his arms straight, and raise them as high as possible. Women can lie on the bed and have their husbands hold their hands while they lift their upper bodies, doing 5-10 repetitions per set. Both partners can also lie flat, raise their legs, lift their abdomen and torso, suspending their bodies in the air, and then lower them down, which can help avoid lower back pain after sexual intercourse.
