How to solve erectile dysfunction in men?

    page views:1  Publication date:2023-04-16 08:17:16
Many people believe that sexual dysfunction is particularly serious because it's caused by unhealthy lifestyle habits. However, some cases of sexual dysfunction are caused by psychological issues, a point that should be taken seriously. Men today face increasing pressure, and many are finding it difficult to cope psychologically, leading to sexual dysfunction, which adds to their burden. So, how can psychologically-related sexual dysfunction be addressed?
1. Conduct education on sexual mental health.
Physiologically, education aims to help people understand the structure and function of sexual organs, especially the differences in physiological responses during male and female sexual activity, so that everyone can grasp its characteristics. Psychologically, it aims to help people understand the psychological experience of sexual activity, the influence of psychological factors on sexual behavior, and to facilitate timely psychological adjustment. The purpose of education is to address the ignorance of both men and women regarding sex, eliminate various misconceptions about sexual responses, and enable both men and women to correctly understand the characteristics of male and female sexuality, thereby achieving greater cooperation and harmony.
2. Equality and respect for sexual needs
Both men and women share and are equal in their sexual needs, and each has equal rights. Therefore, neither men nor women should place women in a passive, submissive position, nor men in a dominant one. Equality must be the first principle in sexual attitudes; the sexual desires of both men and women should be satisfied equally, the pleasure of sexual intercourse should be enjoyed by both parties, and any sexual mistakes or discomfort arising therefrom should be borne equally by both parties. Morally, both men and women should be considerate and respectful of each other, and should not resort to coercion, force, or deception.
3. Prevention of sexual dysfunction should start with psychological intervention.
Furthermore, a joyful and happy spirit is also necessary throughout sexual activity. This joyful and happy emotion is a complex psychological experience, encompassing instinctive sexual satisfaction, as well as the pursuit of love, morality, and beauty—a higher emotion connected to spiritual life. All forms of sexual activity can evoke physical pleasure, and different forms of physical contact can also produce positive spiritual experiences.
4. Treat sex with tenderness
Tenderness is a high-level need experience throughout sexual intercourse. Its effectiveness lies in opening the doors to the hearts of lovers, filling sexual life with fantasy and hope. It also expresses the delicacy of love, embodying the combination of sex, beauty, reason, and morality. Therefore, incorporating tenderness throughout sexual intercourse can achieve ideal sensual effects and prevent sexual dysfunction. Tenderness can be expressed in various ways, through sensory experiences, behavior, facial expressions, and words. Even before sexual intercourse begins, it can bring people into a relaxed and pleasant sexual state, allowing them to experience the aesthetic pleasure of sex psychologically, stimulating optimal sexual emotions, and achieving maximum harmony between the mind and body of both partners. These are all effective methods for preventing sexual dysfunction.
1. Prostatic congestion. Congestion caused by various factors, especially passive congestion, is a major pathogenic factor of prostatitis. The onset of the disease is often not due to bacterial infection or microbial invasion, but it can still cause an inflammatory response and induce prostatitis.
2. Pathogenic microorganism infection. Various microorganisms such as bacteria, protozoa, fungi, and viruses can be sources of infection for prostatitis, with bacteria being the most common, such as gonococci and non-gonococcal bacteria. There are three main routes of bacterial invasion. First, hematogenous infection: clinically, it has been found that more than 90% of bacterial prostatitis is caused by microbial infection. Second, lymphatic infection: for example, lower urinary tract infections and inflammation of the colon and rectum can infect the prostate through lymphatic vessels, causing inflammation. Third, direct spread: when men urinate, urine passes through the prostate, and bacteria in the urine can directly enter the prostate, thus leading to prostate infection.
3. Anxiety, depression, and fear. Experts have found that 50% of patients with chronic nonbacterial prostatitis experience moderate tension symptoms such as anxiety, depression, fear, and pessimism. Prostatitis patients accompanied by pain, sadness, and neurasthenia often exaggerate their physical discomfort and pain, with spontaneous symptoms often exceeding the actual severity of the condition; this condition is known as "all-period prostatitis." Psychological factors are also related to age; younger patients experience significantly greater mental strain than older patients, which often directly affects the outcome of physical treatment.
4. Immunological factors and allergies. Studies have shown a certain correlation between chronic prostatitis and autoimmune factors. Experts have discovered the presence of "anti-prostate antibodies" in some arthritis patients. These patients often develop anti-prostate antibodies due to congenital or acquired immune deficiencies, leading to prostate tissue damage. If tests do not reveal evidence of bacterial, viral, or mycoplasma infection, the presence of immunological factors should be considered.
Sexual dysfunction is a relatively common male disease. When faced with sexual dysfunction, we should not avoid it, but bravely confront it and fight against it. Only by recognizing the cause of sexual dysfunction can we treat the symptoms. If it is caused by psychological factors, we can carry out targeted mental health education, and we believe that we can overcome it.
