She pulled his hand back under the covers, rested her chin on her hand, and lay on the bed looking at him intently, a smile on her face that she herself was unaware of.
Gu Shaoming woke up thirsty in the middle of the night. He opened his eyes and saw a small lamp left on by the bedside. He knew without a doubt who had left it there. He got up and found Qin Qing lying on the quilt next to him, her head propped up on her arm, sleeping soundly.

Gu Shaoming opened his eyes when she moved. "Awake?" he asked in a hoarse voice.
Looking at Qin Qing with a slight smile on her face, Gu Shaoming teased, "I thought I would mess with you, but I didn't expect you to be so restless in your sleep last night, constantly jumping on me. Are you so poisoned that you even dream of having my child?"
Qin Qing, however, opened her eyes wide and was still clinging to him in her sleep.
She seemed to have dreamt of Gu Shaoming last night, but she couldn't recall what happened. Judging from Gu Shaoming's demeanor, it seemed she really did intend to do something inappropriate to him.

Qin Qing couldn't help but despise himself in his heart. Even if he wanted a child, he didn't have to be so impatient. He was still sick.

She dawdled for a long time while washing up before finally going out, and walked awkwardly to Gu Shaoming's bedside.
Are you feeling any better?
"No, I'm still very weak and feel terrible." Gu Shaoming draped an arm over his eyes.
"I probably didn't sleep well last night, I'm still a bit sleepy."
The reason for not getting enough rest is self-evident.
Qin Qing felt even more guilty and stammered, "Then, then you should rest well. I'll have someone cook some white porridge for you, and you can eat some later."
