Caesar toyed with the small knife in his hand, finished speaking, winked at the burly man behind him, and then turned to face the door. After all, witnessing his sister being killed with his own eyes didn't require courage; it was something only a true psychopath could do.
With a deafening bang, the basement door blew open as if it had been struck by explosives, sending debris flying everywhere. Before Caesar could even react, his body was riddled with spikes, beyond any doubt. The two burly men reacted with lightning speed, turning to draw their guns at the sound of the explosion. Unfortunately, the splinters seemed to have eyes, flying towards them with incredible speed, pinning them firmly to the wall, and sending them to their deaths along with Caesar.
"Uncle..."
Seeing Gu Guozhang anxiously appear at the door, and in that instant, he seemed to radiate a heroic aura in Yi Yi's eyes, tears welled up in her eyes again. She felt incredibly ashamed of herself. “They used to exist, but we felt it was unsafe, so we sealed them off.”
She pointed to the room at the end and said, "That's it, but it can't be opened anymore."
"Just sealing off the gate?"
"No, it's completely blocked with stones, just like the foundation of the house."

Zuo Qing and Yi Yi fell to the ground, while Dan Dan witnessed firsthand how the exploding shards, like steel nails and bullets, pierced Gu Guozhang's body, his face contorted in agony. Dan Dan's eyes instantly turned red, as if they were about to bleed.
Dandan paused for a moment, then darted past Gu Guozhang. Looking at her lover lying motionless on the ground, Dandan whispered, "Husband, I love you..."
He immediately turned around and rushed out into the doorway.
The soldiers outside were still listening to the commotion inside when the door suddenly shattered as if it had been blown up by a controlled explosion. Then, a girl with bloodshot eyes, exuding a demonic aura, punched herself in the face. Her body flew backward through the air, but Dandan grabbed his foot and pulled him back. She then took the military knife from the soldier's waist and held it in her own hand.
Dandan hid in the corner, glanced at Yi Yi's room, then turned and slipped inside. She found the long whip that Yi Yi had given her, held it in her hand as if she had found some confidence, and took a deep breath.
"Honey, I'm here to keep you company!"
Egg leaped out of the room, lashing out with its whip to pull a soldier peering into the room from the doorway close to it, then swiftly slit his throat with a backhand stroke. With a deft flick of the whip, Egg vanished back into the room, immediately followed by a burst of gunfire outside.
Egg looked up at the ceiling; the room had been blown open, and there was a direct path upstairs. Egg composed himself, leaped up, and as another soldier entered carrying a gun to investigate, Egg lashed out with his whip, wrapped it around the soldier's neck, and pulled him upwards. A 'crack' was heard—his cervical vertebrae shattered.
Egg moved from room to room, as if heaven was watching over this woman driven mad by love. Due to the intense tension, Egg had lost count of how many she had killed—probably ten, or twenty. Gradually, no one dared to come in anymore. The remaining few simply shouted from the doorway; Egg couldn't understand them, nor did she need to. Killing them was enough.
Egg peeked out the window and saw that the people who had been watching Grandpa were gone; perhaps he had killed them. Egg carefully climbed over the window, trying his best to be quiet, and slowly crept towards Grandpa.
"Grandpa~ wake up, it's me, Dandan~" Dandan called out to her grandpa softly, gently nudging him, just like she always did when she woke him up.
The old man hummed softly, turned his head and saw Dandan, smiling as he said, "Dandan, it's all fate. Grandpa didn't believe in fate before, thinking it was all nonsense, that people could defy destiny. Later I realized that the process of defying destiny is also fate. Dandan, you've grown up, you must live well. You must remember everything Grandpa taught you, it's the legacy of our family for generations, and you'll have to pass it on to your children in the future."
"Grandpa...don't die! I haven't learned anything yet, I don't know anything at all, you can't die..."
Dandan started crying uncontrollably, tears streaming down her face. Watching her two dearest people die before her eyes, she was on the verge of collapse.
'Whoosh!' A bullet whizzed through the air, carrying a scorching heat, and pierced through Egg's shoulder. Egg seemed to have found a way to vent her anger, leaping into the air to a height she had never reached before, a godlike posture that stunned the people at the door, because this was a height that no human could possibly leap to.
Egg's whip, as if guided by eyes, traced graceful arcs, reaping the last vestiges of life. As she plummeted, only one soldier, his legs trembling, remained alive. Egg grabbed him, her dagger plunging deep into his chest, then tossed him aside, flinging him far away. Egg then lashed the whip upwards with a sharp crack, beginning a frenzied scream.
Just then, they saw the car parked in the distance start up. As if finding its primary target, Eggy pulled back the whip and shot towards it like a cannonball. The person inside the car had just started moving when he saw a blur before his eyes as a small hand smashed through the bulletproof glass, grabbed his collar, and pulled him out of the car.
"Who are you?"
Egg was as terrifying as a god of death, his hands and body covered in blood, yet he seemed to feel no pain whatsoever.
"You can't kill me! I am the Prince of Wales, and my father is the King. If you dare to kill me, he will not let you get away with it!"
The prince, hoisted into the air, trembled like a chicken. Egg couldn't understand a word he said. But his trembling appearance only fueled Egg's anger. To have one of his family members killed by such an incompetent fool was a disgrace.
"..."
With a swift stroke, Eggman silenced the prince forever.
Egg swayed, its body shivering with cold, staring at the dilapidated castle before it. It felt like a dream… Perhaps it was time to leave, like its grandfather, like its father, to see the world. Just as Egg was about to turn around, it realized its grandfather was gone!
Egg bounced back in two steps and found that where Grandpa had just been lying, there were only a few bullets pressing down on a piece of paper.
"Don't blame Grandpa for being heartless. If I help you through this, the next calamity will be even more severe. So Grandpa can only watch, watch you suffer. Gu Guozhang is alright. This was a major calamity in his life; at best, he would break a bone, at worst, he would die. Now that his bone is broken, it can be considered that he has fulfilled his destiny." These two short sentences rekindled all of Dandan's hope. She jumped out of the window and rushed to the basement. But when the two saw Dandan return, they immediately dropped Gu Guozhang on the ground and ran over to her, hugging her and crying desperately.
"Egg, are you kidding me?! Why were you so impulsive? You scared me to death!"
Yi Yi hugged the egg and cried desperately.
"Uncle... how is Uncle?"
Dandan patted Yi Yi and Zuo Qing in her arms, but only looked at Gu Guozhang.
"The uncle is fine, and Grandpa put protective gear on him."
Dandan walked up to Gu Guozhang and saw that his face was still contorted with pain. She asked worriedly, "Uncle, what's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?"
