Everyone knows that single men should show sufficient sincerity, so I'd like to ask experienced single men or couples: how much should a gift be given on a first meeting?
I've been dating for a while now and have met quite a few couples. Some of them got along well, and while they never mentioned a gift during our conversations, they kept discussing it. Others, after only a short chat, directly asked to meet, but then demanded a 500 yuan red envelope and other requests. While single
men are often in a weaker position, isn't it a bit much for a couple to ask for a 500 yuan red envelope directly? They're over ten years older than me, and I didn't even ask for their photos or know anything about the details of our conversations. This is so unacceptable right from the start, even to me as a single man. I'm not saying that someone with ulterior motives is just looking to vent or sleep with someone else's wife. Besides, shouldn't everyone show some sincerity? It's not like the single man is taking advantage of you or sleeping with your wife. Aren't married couples also looking for passion and excitement through single men? In a sense, it's a mutually beneficial arrangement.
