Then she said, "Okay, you'll have to get up early tomorrow morning and take the kids to school yourself" (because I'm divorced and have children). I said, "That's fine. I can live perfectly well without you. I actually feel that love without suspicion is easier." Then she told me that everything before was a joke, not real, and asked me not to be angry, saying I was petty. Would someone jokingly tell another person they'd take the kids to school themselves tomorrow during this argument? What was she thinking?
