It turned out that the young master Li had actually sent people to propose marriage, wanting to take Weiwei as a concubine.

Tianxi agreed and led everyone in the hall to bow.
Eunuch Wu opened the red-sealed gift list in his hand and read aloud: "His Majesty bestows upon Consort Li of Chenghuan Palace: one bushel of pearls from the South China Sea." As he read, two eunuchs gently placed a lacquered wooden box with gold trim before him and opened it. The box was full of shimmering pearls, their iridescent colors almost dazzling everyone's eyes. Eunuch Wu continued reading: "A pair of jade ruyi scepters in red, blue, white, black, and yellow. Six pairs of palace-style gold hairpins with eight pearls and inlaid jewels. Two pairs of gold hair ornaments with eight treasures and intertwined coral. A pair of hair combs with luminous pearls representing the Big Dipper. A pair of gold hairpins with three layers of kingfisher feathers and pearl pendants..."
As he recited the proclamation, more and more jewels, antiques, and fine silks were placed around Tianxi. The dazzling array of precious stones and jewels made the room shine brilliantly. Tianxi accepted the gifts with a mixture of surprise and delight. After Eunuch Wu finished reading the long list of gifts, she respectfully accepted it herself.
