This is a mysterious, magical continent inhabited by various races: gods, demons, and humans coexist.

Legend has it that the creator god who separated heaven and earth had two daughters, Wind and Moon. Wind, the elder daughter, was a goddess of light representing good, while Moon, the younger daughter, was a goddess of darkness possessing evil. This war, which caused the fall of gods and the shattering of heaven and earth, was finally quelled by the wrathful curse of the Creator God. The two goddesses responsible for the conflict were eternally cursed by the Creator God and imprisoned in the endless abyss beneath this continent; this is said to be the origin of the Wind and Moon Continent.

To quell the war between the gods and demons on earth, the Creator God, heartbroken by his daughter, used his last divine power to create the human race—a race possessing both good and evil. He hoped that this race, capable of embracing both good and evil, could resolve the conflict between the purely good gods and the purely evil demons. Humans became the only race capable of possessing both divine and demonic abilities; those who trained diligently could even reach the level of gods, making becoming a god the ultimate goal for all cultivators on the continent.

From then on, the Wind and Moon Continent had three major races: gods, humans, and demons. The humans, situated between the gods and demons, indeed separated these two sworn enemies, and the continent enjoyed peaceful days.

As the "War of the Gods" gradually faded into legend, and thousands of years of peace passed, the ever-growing population and the emergence of more and more races led to a growing dissatisfaction with the status quo, and the simple, honest hearts were slowly eroded. Through continuous fusion and annexation, the various races eventually merged, and when the War of the Hundred Races ended, eight powerful nations emerged on the continent: the Fast Empire in the center, Pari with its vast northern grasslands, the orc kingdom of Aso, Wu'an with its vast wilderness, the Yingxi Empire occupying the western highlands, Yunyang with its expansive southern rivers, lakes, and forests, and the mysterious eastern power of Ludian. In addition, there were several small principalities struggling to survive in the cracks between these powerful states. Their existence served as a buffer zone between the major powers, providing them with space to live, albeit with great difficulty, but always offering a chance.

Time flowed slowly amidst the alliances and betrayals of various nations, the Great War of the Hundred Races becoming a distant memory, and the legendary heroic deeds becoming tales told by wandering poets. At this time, the continent of Fengyue was in a delicate balance.

Just when everyone on the continent thought this would continue forever, history, which had been stagnant, suddenly surged forward rapidly. Those who would propel history forward and change the fate of the continent quietly emerged.

The wheel of history had turned to a new moment, and a new chapter would be written by new heroes.
