Currently, my wife remains my only one, just as Xiaoying initially felt for Jincheng. Without a tremendous determination, the protagonist would never allow another person to possess Xiaoying's body, thus losing this one and only. The protagonist experiences excitement and stimulation from his father's sexual encounters with Xiaoying, but also feels heartache and bitterness.
The male protagonist's mindset was exactly like this. Before it happened, he felt he could gradually adapt to everything that was happening between Xiaoying and her father. But when it actually happened, he realized things weren't entirely as he had imagined. But when the cravings hit, you forget all regret and self-blame, frantically and uncontrollably using drugs to enjoy the pleasure. After the cravings subside, you fall back into self-blame, trapped in this contradictory psychological state, unable to escape.
Actually, those who like my writing all have this feeling: some want me to write more heart-wrenching stories, the more heart-wrenching, the more exciting; others want me to write more heartwarming stories, for a more comfortable reading experience. They all say they're incredibly emotionally affected by my writing, but they still can't help but follow along, like an addiction. Everyone's feelings are different, and I can only write according to my own ideas. Please stop criticizing Xiaoying for being promiscuous or anything like that. If I really wanted to portray Xiaoying as a "saint," the father as a "real" father, and the male protagonist as a psychologically normal person, then there wouldn't be this story, "I Became the Matchmaker Between My Father and Wife." I wrote this story to enhance everyone's sexual desire and satisfy the darker side of your psyche. So please stop worrying about how the story is written; after all, it's a novel, just treat it as a spice in your life.
