Chapter 1: A Helpless Transmigration -

Falling Off a Cliff. A helpless fall off a cliff.

Yu Xuyu was an orphan, raised in an orphanage from a young age. Therefore, he wasn't a good student, dropping out at fifteen to become a hoodlum.

A hoodlum, to put it nicely, is called a "little brother"; to put it bluntly, a hooligan.

Yu Xuyu was a desperate criminal, and thus quickly made a name for himself. But his experience and abilities only made him a greenhorn. After all, nowadays, a big shot in the underworld needs not only reputation but also power.

Yu Xuyu had several followers, similar in background to him, all unruly wild kids lacking discipline. Young people together, one person is a worm, several people are a dragon.

Ignorance is bliss. Because they hadn't fully understood society, nor did they know they were on a path of no return. So they did something that shocked the entire city, offending someone they couldn't afford to offend.

The whole affair stemmed from ignorance. They didn't realize that among the people in society you shouldn't mess with, there were two main groups: officials and soldiers.

They didn't dare confront government officials directly, nor did they dare ambush the police who had dealt with them before. All they had done was, in a drunken stupor, beat up the police chief's precious son, thus offending both officials and soldiers.

The whole city was on edge; the police began searching for them, and the underworld bosses were also looking for them. Although young and naive, Yu Xuyu was shrewd. He and a few of his underlings split up and fled the city, scattering in all directions.

With no relatives or friends, Yu Xuyu had nowhere to go and hid in a cave in the mountains south of the city. This cave had been used as a warehouse during the war, so it wasn't too damp and was fairly spacious.

Yu Xuyu knew that if the police caught him now, he would certainly suffer a terrible fate, so he hid by night, cautiously hiding for several days. His money quickly ran out, so he had to steal food and drink from nearby villages at night, living a particularly miserable life.

But the city police, despite the passage of time, didn't relax their efforts; instead, they expanded their search. Yu Xuyu vaguely sensed something was wrong; things weren't as simple as he had initially thought.

Later, Yu Xuyu risked going to the city to gather information, casually planning to break into a small supermarket to steal some food, drinks, and clothes. Upon investigation, Yu Xuyu realized the enormity of his actions. It turned out that during the drunken beating that day, someone had hit the man on the head, leaving the police chief's son in a vegetative state.

After understanding the situation, Yu Xuyu broke out in a cold sweat and dared not stay on the mountain, preparing to flee. However, photos of them had already been posted at the train station and other places. Yu Xuyu glanced at them from a distance, dared not approach, and returned to his cave.

The nearby villagers gradually noticed something was amiss; the normally safe village was experiencing a series of thefts, and they notified the nearby police station. The police sent officers to the village to investigate, but unexpectedly discovered clues about Yu Xuyu.

Despite his caution, some villagers still sensed something was wrong. In the remote, desolate mountains, a teenage boy was frequently spotted. Although no one had initially given it much thought, villagers reported this during a police check.

Yu Xuyu was lucky; he was spotted before the police searched the mountains. Without time to gather his belongings in the cave, Yu Xuyu fled down the steep mountain path. The police spotted him and gave chase.

Knowing he would be half-dead if caught, Yu Xuyu's will to survive overwhelmed his fatigue, and he ran relentlessly forward. However, unfamiliar with the mountain paths, Yu Xuyu was no match for the well-prepared police. Soon after, he was surrounded by police on a cliff.

The cliff was steep, and Yu Xuyu struggled to climb it. Under the cover of trees, he temporarily escaped the police's sight. The police began a concentrated search, gradually narrowing the search area.

Yu Xuyu leaned against a large rock, hearing the sounds of the search growing ever closer. Cold sweat broke out all over his body, and he trembled with tension. He knew today was the end; what awaited him was a bullet or a long prison sentence.

Yu Xuyu thought about the other problem he might face if caught by the police in this situation: cruel torture. Yu Xuyu had been in and out of prison frequently in his short life; he knew that feeling. They could leave no trace of injury, yet inflict excruciating pain.

Thinking of this, cold sweat began to drip from Yu Xuyu's face. He looked at the cliff not far ahead, preferring to jump to his death rather than endure that inhuman torture.

The sounds of the search grew closer. Yu Xuyu gazed longingly at the sky, took a deep breath, and suddenly realized how precious life was. In that instant, he began to regret not being a good student and living a peaceful life like his classmates. It

was all too late. There's no going back. Yu Xuyu sighed deeply, and amidst the police's shouts, he jumped off the cliff. In the instant before he jumped off the cliff, his heart suddenly felt incredibly calm; death, it turned out, wasn't so terrifying after all.

The whistling wind whistled in his ears, and Yu Xuyu caught a whiff of death. A surge of intense fear gripped his heart, and he lost consciousness.

When Yu Xuyu awoke, his head throbbed with pain, and he felt utterly weak, too weak even to open his eyes. Suddenly, he smelled a strong herbal aroma. Someone was supporting Yu Xuyu's head, using a wooden spoon to feed him bitter, astringent herbs, little by little. The

slightest movement sent a sharp pain through him, and Yu Xuyu involuntarily gasped for breath. The herbs went down, and a warm current rose within him, instantly making him feel refreshed. He drifted off to sleep again.

When Yu Xuyu awoke once more, he could open his eyes. Before him stood a tall, slender middle-aged man dressed in ancient short clothing. Seeing Yu Xuyu open his eyes, the man smiled slightly, a look of delight on his face, but without a word, he left.

Although the herbal medicine was hard to swallow, it was incredibly effective. Yu Xuyu recovered quickly and was able to get out of bed on his own. The middle-aged man took good care of Yu Xuyu but remained silent throughout. When Yu Xuyu spoke to him, the man pointed to his ear and stuck out his tongue; it turned out he was deaf and mute.

Yu Xuyu felt a surge of gratitude and was deeply thankful to the man. The food was reasonably palatable, but the clothing was unbearable for Yu Xuyu. The clothes were made of coarse hemp, the fibers rough and uncomfortable. Yu

Xuyu couldn't help but ask, and the middle-aged man, reading his lip movements, brought him a brush and ink, writing instead of speaking. Yu Xuyu, unfamiliar with calligraphy, struggled to write: "Where is this?"

The middle-aged man's calligraphy flowed smoothly: "This is Hangu."

Yu Xuyu pondered for a moment but still couldn't understand what Hangu was. The man then asked, "Which province and county?"

The middle-aged man wrote, "Within Maicheng County, Jingzhou, Great Song Dynasty."

Upon seeing the words "Great Song Dynasty," Yu Xuyu was immediately intrigued. Recalling the clothes and writing implements, he wondered if he had been reincarnated into another time and space. To confirm his suspicions, he wrote, "What is today's date?"

The middle-aged man replied, "The sixth day of the sixth month of the third year of the Ciyou era of the Great Song Dynasty."

Yu Xuyu realized he might have been transported to another world, and was overwhelmed with mixed emotions. He felt relieved of his heavy burden and finally had a chance to start anew, but fear of this new world also gripped him. What was this era like? Could he adapt? Would he, like in his previous life, receive no care or love?

Amidst these questions, Yu Xuyu began his new journey, gradually adapting to this world and encountering numerous extraordinary adventures.

Chapter 2: Su Xinghe's Exquisite Skill

This is a beautiful mountain valley, with towering peaks and sheer cliffs on its sides. Fragrant flowers bloom, rare herbs and exotic flowers abound, and evergreen cypresses thrive. The valley is filled with various fruits and bamboo groves, and a clear spring flows swiftly, its spray like a gushing melon. The environment is beautiful and soothing.

The middle-aged man, named Yun Fengjiang, was not born deaf and mute. He was skilled in martial arts, had attended a private school for several years, and was considered a man of both literary and martial talents. There were about thirty or forty strong men in the valley, all strangely deaf and mute. Fortunately, some of them were married with children, and their wives were not deaf or mute.

Yu Xuyu recuperated in the valley for two or three months, his health returning to normal. He helped the others with hunting and fishing, and didn't find it boring. Xuyu was diligent and obedient, getting along well with everyone. He was originally an orphan, and his past life had been filled with hardship. He had a profound awakening, reformed his ways, and settled down in the valley.

As time passed, Xu Yu learned the details of the situation and his rescue. It turned out that this place was exactly the same location where Xu Yu had fallen off the cliff in his previous life. For some unknown reason, Xu Yu had unexpectedly traveled through time and space to this place when he fell.

The first to discover Xu Yu was Master Gu, whose surname was Su and given name was unknown. This man was multi-talented and skilled in medicine. That day, Master Gu discovered someone had fallen off a cliff and rushed to help. He noticed that the person was dressed strangely, with unusual fabric textures, patterns, and colors, all of which were rare and unheard of. He assumed

this person had an extraordinary background and therefore devoted himself to treating him. Master Gu was also deaf and mute, which Xu Yu found very regrettable. Master Gu was multi-talented; a deaf and mute man, he was proficient in music, chess, calligraphy, and painting. Xu Yu felt sorry for him and also puzzled as to why a deaf and mute person could be so skilled in music. He considered that his deafness and muteness might not be congenital.

Within the valley lies a forbidden area, the only place Xu Yu has never visited. Located in a remote area, it's unlikely anyone would have found it had Xu Yu not inadvertently passed through. Outside the forbidden area, the Valley Master has deliberately arranged vegetation and rocks, seemingly forming an ancient array. Thus, when Xu Yu inadvertently passed through, he grasped the profound mystery of this array.

The Valley Master, a small but powerful man, was very curious about Xu Yu. After discovering Xu Yu's mastery of Go, he frequently challenged him to games. Although Xu Yu wasn't a good student in his previous life, it didn't diminish his love for Go. He had studied many ancient manuals and loved watching live Go matches.

Xu Yu possessed exceptional talent in Go. Therefore, in his games against the Valley Master, Xu Yu initially lost by over twenty points, gradually reaching a draw, and eventually defeating the Valley Master until he was sweating profusely. Seeing Xu Yu's extraordinary talent, the Valley Master held him in high regard.

The Valley Master began teaching Xu Yu some unusual arts like Qimen Dunjia. Xu Yu went from initial disdain to complete fascination within just three days. Xu Yu's talent greatly interested the Valley Master, and besides martial arts, he began teaching him other miscellaneous skills. Xu Yu lived up to expectations, earning the Valley Master's admiration.

One day, the Valley Master presented Xu Yu with a particularly difficult game. "Zhenlong" is a deliberately difficult position in Go, not a position created by two players. Therefore, the potential for life or ko is extremely difficult to predict. A typical "Zhenlong" has at least ten or so stones, and at most forty or fifty, but this one had over two hundred.

Xu Yu saw that this game involved ko within ko, with shared life and longevity, counterattacks and loss of liberties, a complex and multifaceted game. He was instantly invigorated, but upon reviewing the game again, he suddenly felt dizzy and lightheaded. He had only calculated the life and death of a small group of white stones in the lower right corner, and already felt his chest heaving. He steadied himself and calculated a second time, realizing that what he had initially thought was a dead group of white stones actually had a way to live, but killing the adjacent group of black stones involved many complications.

Xu Yu stared intently for a while, lost in thought, unsure where to begin. He racked his brains over the game records he had memorized, and suddenly recalled a game described in *Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils*. His calculations defied the principles of chess; where could he kill his own group? After a moment of contemplation, he suddenly played a white stone, killing a large group of his own white stones. The situation suddenly

became much clearer. Although black had a significant advantage, white now had room to maneuver, no longer feeling as constrained and unable to defend itself as before. Seeing Xu Yu's move, Gu Zhu was taken aback, pondered for a long time, and finally responded with a move. Xu Yu, already having a plan in mind, saw that the Valley Master's response was exactly as he had anticipated, and his moves flew. The Valley Master's expression shifted between joy and admiration, and anxiety and worry; his long eyebrows twitched incessantly.

After a few moves, the game underwent a significant change. Xu Yu, knowing the secret of this "precious move," understood that White had to first squeeze out a large group of its own stones, allowing for a continuous stream of brilliant moves. Although the Valley Master was a master of Go, he had never considered such a "suicidal" move—a truly unprecedented and extraordinary variation in Go.

If Xu Yu hadn't known of the solution described in *Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils*, even with his extraordinary skill, he wouldn't have conceived of such a brilliant move. The initial solution was a death and rebirth; by removing a large group of White stones, the world opened up, freeing one from the constraints of life and death, allowing for more flexible movement—a far cry from the previous precarious position.

Seeing Xu Yu's series of brilliant moves, capturing small pieces of black in succession, the Master of the Valley pondered for a moment, then resigned. His face lit up with joy as he suddenly spoke, saying, "Young Master's chess thinking is exquisite, reaching an extremely high level. Not concerned with life or death, nor with victory or defeat, you have transcended life and death, thus solving this game; truly, it is the will of Heaven."

Xu Yu was startled by the Master of the Valley's sudden words. At this moment, the Master of the Valley, beaming with joy, stood up and said, "My master set up this game, and for many years no one has been able to solve it. Young Master has solved it, fulfilling my master's wish, allowing me to break my vow; I am truly grateful."

The Master of the Valley hadn't spoken for many years, but now his words flowed smoothly, his face full of joy, leaving Xu Yu utterly bewildered. Xu Yu said, "So Master Gu wasn't actually deaf and mute after all. No wonder your knowledge of music and philosophy is so high. It turns out you were feigning

deafness and mute because of a poisonous oath." Master Gu laughed, "Young master, you are clever and insightful, revealing the secret of heaven in a single sentence. I am Su Xinghe, a disciple of the Xiaoyao Sect. My master, Tianya Zi, was the sect leader, but due to a great upheaval within the sect, he was seriously injured. Therefore, he set up the Linglong Chess Game to find talented individuals and entrust them with important responsibilities. Here, I would like to thank you on behalf of my master, young master."

After Master Gu finished speaking, without waiting for Xu Yu to speak, he said, "Please follow me, benefactor."

He then led the way, inviting Xu Yu to follow him to the forbidden area.

After listening to Su Xinghe's explanation, Xu Yu's mind went blank for a moment. He realized that he had unintentionally entered the alternate world of "Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils." Although Xu Yu was not a good student in his previous life, he had read "Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils" many times and knew it very well. Now that Xu Zhu's extraordinary encounter had befallen Yu Xuyu, Yu Xuyu knew that an opportunity had arrived and was overjoyed.

From afar, the forbidden area only showed a few fruit trees and piles of earth and stones. But up close, it was different; the forest was lush and verdant, yet no path could be found. Although Yu Xuyu had learned some esoteric arts and mechanisms from Su Xinghe, his cultivation was still shallow, so he followed behind Su Xinghe.

Yu Xuyu followed Su Xinghe, taking a few steps to the left and a few steps to the right. The distance of only a hundred steps took two quarters of an hour to reach the center of the forbidden area. In the center of the forbidden area was a courtyard with three wooden houses, but their construction was very strange. There were no doors on any side, and they were tightly surrounded by tree stumps.

Su Xinghe grabbed Yu Xuyu's right hand and leaped into the courtyard. There were several piles of earth and stones in the courtyard, but Su Xinghe turned left and right, making a large circle, and led Yu Xuyu to the door of the wooden house.

Su Xinghe released Yu Xuyu's right hand and said respectfully, "As instructed by Master, I have found a talented person to solve the Linglong puzzle and have brought him here to meet Master."

A voice came from inside the house: "Xinghe, please step back and let him enter the house."

Yu Xuyu entered the house upon hearing this, only to find it empty and devoid of anything. There was no door in the room, and Yu Xuyu was momentarily stunned. At this moment, Xiaoyaozi's voice came, "Open the hidden door in the northwest corner, and you can come in."

Yu Xuyu searched for the hidden door mechanism in the southwest corner and noticed that the wood grain was different from the others. He tried pushing it. With a "creak," a small door appeared on the west wall.

Yu Xuyu looked around at the empty room and suddenly looked up. He saw a small pavilion on the roof beam, where a person was sitting cross-legged. Yu Xuyu looked closely and saw that the person had a handsome face, a flowing beard, a spirited demeanor, and an elegant bearing.

Chapter 3: Obtaining the Divine Skill

Yu Xuyu knew this man was none other than Wuyazi, the most legendary figure in "Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils" and the leader of the Xiaoyao Sect. He quickly bowed and said, "Yu Xuyu greets Senior."

Wuyazi nodded, scrutinized him for a long time, and then said with delight, "You were able to solve my chess puzzle; your intelligence and talent are truly extraordinary. Your physique is also exceptional, making you a rare talent for martial arts."

After speaking, Wuyazi descended slowly from the roof beam, his robes fluttering, appearing like a celestial being, which filled Yu Xuyu with admiration. Wuyazi came before Yu Xuyu, his eyes brightening, and he smiled, "It is fate, and also my blessing. Since you have solved the chess puzzle, it shows your profound fortune; perhaps you can accomplish great things for me. Good, good, kneel down and kowtow!"

Yu Xuyu knew that Wuyazi had decided to take him as a disciple, and he was overjoyed. He knelt down and performed the deepest kowtow. After the formalities were completed, Tianya Zi grasped Yu Xuyu's wrist, scrutinizing him closely from head to toe.

Yu Xuyu felt a surge of heat in his pulse, a rush of internal energy rising from his arm and rapidly heading towards his heart, causing him to feel a sudden fear. The internal energy receded immediately upon contact; it was a test of Yu Xuyu's inner strength.

Knowing the reason, Yu Xuyu hurriedly said, "I came here and saw that everyone in the valley possessed martial arts skills. I wished to learn from them, but the Valley Master and others, for various reasons, never taught me, causing me great disappointment."

Tianya Zi was delighted and laughed, "Very good, very good. Such a physique, yet you have never learned martial arts, which saves me a lot of trouble. The formalities I had you perform earlier were part of my sect's rules for apprenticeship. Since we are destined to meet, you are now my closed-door disciple. I will pass on all my divine skills to you; it is a blessing for you."

Upon hearing this, Yu Xuyu was overjoyed and knelt down to perform the formalities again. Wuya Zi accepted the greeting calmly and instructed Yu Xuyu to remove his upper garment. He then used his fingers to gently press and tap acupoints on Yu Xuyu's chest and back. Yu Xuyu felt a warm current flowing through his body's acupoints, feeling exceptionally comfortable. A surge of heat also arose in his dantian, gradually gathering in his lower abdomen.

While opening his meridians, Wuya Zi taught him the method of circulating qi. Yu Xuyu possessed remarkable comprehension; he immediately sat cross-legged and diligently practiced along the lines indicated by Wuya Zi's fingers.

Before he knew it, a full cycle had been completed, and Yu Xuyu felt warm and comfortable all over. Opening his eyes, Yu Xuyu saw Wuya Zi smiling at him. He knew that Wuya Zi had expended his internal energy to open his meridians and lay a solid foundation for his internal strength. Filled with gratitude, he bowed in thanks.

Wuya Zi helped Yu Xuyu up and said, "Sit quietly and listen to my explanation. My time is coming to an end, and there is something I need you to do for me."

Yu Xuyu hurriedly replied, "Disciple will do his utmost to fulfill Master's wish."

Seeing Yu Xuyu's obedience and cleverness, Wuya Zi was delighted and said, "Very good, very good! Taking you as my disciple today is Heaven's way of helping me avenge myself. I have always been cautious in accepting disciples. My eldest disciple is Su Xinghe, the one who brought me here. My second disciple is Ding Chunqiu..." Yet he committed countless evils, betraying his master and ancestors. The sect leader in our sect has always been the one with the strongest martial arts skills. Years ago, that traitor Ding Chunqiu tried to seize the position of sect leader, suddenly attacking and throwing me into a deep valley, nearly costing me my life. Fortunately, your eldest brother was quick-witted; he went down into the valley to find me, and then traversed mountains and rivers to obtain various medicinal herbs, sustaining my life until now. Your eldest brother fought with Ding Chunqiu, but was struck by Ding Chunqiu's palm, vomiting several bushels of blood, and fled in disarray. Fortunately, he was proficient in various miscellaneous skills, more than enough to protect himself. He then used the sect's secret manuals to lure Ding... Chunqiu swore a solemn oath, feigning deafness and muteness, and secluded himself here to serve his master. Your eldest brother is exceptionally talented, but unfortunately, he is distracted by trivial pursuits like music, chess, calligraphy, and painting, neglecting his studies and failing to cultivate superior martial arts. Over the years, I have only hoped to find a clever and focused disciple to whom I can pass on all my martial arts knowledge and send him to eliminate Ding Chunqiu. However, such an opportunity is rare; cleverness can be misplaced, and one might repeat the mistake of raising a tiger only to bring disaster upon oneself; those with good character lack the necessary comprehension. My time is drawing near... "I no longer have time to teach you martial arts, so I've taken you as my last disciple and will pass on my internal energy to you. Here is a picture depicting the place where I once enjoyed a life of leisure, in the Wuliang Mountains of Dali Kingdom. Find the martial arts manuals I kept there, practice them according to the rules, and your martial arts will be on par with Ding Chunqiu's. You have excellent aptitude; you will surely progress by a thousand miles a day in practicing our martial arts. When you have mastered them and are ready to emerge, kill Ding Chunqiu and avenge your master."

After saying this, Wuya Zi took out a picture from his robes and placed it in Yu Xuyu's hand. He then removed a gemstone ring from his finger and handed it to Yu Xuyu, saying, "Now I pass on the leadership of the Xiaoyao Sect to you. You must carry it forward and make the Xiaoyao Sect dominate the martial arts world. You have three senior female disciples in the Xiaoyao Sect. I hope that by chance, they can assist you. Also, there is a chapter in the martial arts classic called 'Neijing' that discusses the way of dual cultivation of Yin and Yang. Without a cauldron, one must never cultivate it." After

Wuya Zi finished speaking, he had Yu Xuyu sit cross-legged. With a wave of his hands, he placed his sleeves on Yu Xuyu's shoulders, then inverted his head and feet, their heads touching. Yu Xuyu felt a thin wisp of heat rush into his brain from the Baihui acupoint on the top of his head. He felt his brain getting hotter and hotter, and in an instant, he felt dizzy and his head was about to explode. The heat flowed downwards, and after a short while, Yu Xuyu could not bear it and fainted.

While unconscious, Yu Xuyu felt as if he were floating on clouds, soaring through the heavens; at other times, his body felt icy cold, as if he had plunged into the depths of a deep blue sea, playing with fish. The heat gradually subsided, and Yu Xuyu slowly regained consciousness. Opening his eyes, he saw Wuyazi, drenched in sweat, sitting cross-legged opposite him . Deep wrinkles had suddenly appeared on his once fair and handsome face, and his once glossy black hair and beard had turned snow-white.

Yu Xuyu realized that Wuyazi had just reversed the flow of the Northern Darkness Divine Art, transferring all his life's cultivation into his own body. He bowed deeply to Wuyazi once more. Wuyazi squinted, smiling weakly, and said, "Your blessings far exceed my expectations. Try striking this wall with your palm!"

Yu Xuyu did as he was told, and with a loud crack, half of the wall collapsed. He was stunned by the power of his own hand.

Wu Yazi said, "You haven't yet mastered our sect's palm techniques, so you can't unleash even a tenth of their power. You already possess over seventy years' worth of my divine skills. Learning our martial arts will be twice as effective, allowing you to learn a thousand techniques a day. Our sect's internal energy is profound, harnessing the righteousness of heaven and earth, controlling the six qi, allowing one to roam freely in the boundless realm—this is true freedom. This is the essence of our sect's internal energy, and also my decades of experience."

Seeing Wu Yazi's extreme weakness, Yu Xuyu wanted to go forward to support his master. He took a light step, but unexpectedly, his body floated, covering several meters in a single stride, turning back behind Wu Yazi. With a light leap, he actually jumped over the roof beam. Just as he was about to reach the roof, Wu Yazi's voice came: "Walking and leaping should come from the heart of nature. Follow the natural course of things, and you can roam freely in this world."

Hearing this, Yu Xuyu suppressed his surprise, his mind focused, and his breath naturally spun, as if he had broken through a layer of paper, instantly mastering lightness skill. Seeing Yu Xuyu's extraordinary intelligence, Wuya Zi was filled with joy. He laughed loudly several times, his voice growing fainter and fainter, then lunged forward, his forehead hitting the ground with a thud, and he lay still.

Yu Xuyu rushed forward to help him up, checking his breath; he was already dead. Having spent less than half a day with Wuya Zi, he couldn't say he had any real feelings for him, but having absorbed Wuya Zi's life's worth of power, he felt a subtle connection to Wuya Zi that was closer than to anyone else. Suddenly, grief overwhelmed him, and he burst into tears.

After crying for a while, feeling a deep unease, Yu Xuyu couldn't help but let out a long howl to the sky, the sound shaking the heavens and startling even himself. Having experienced this extraordinary encounter, Yu Xuyu couldn't help but recall the records in "Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils," and became somewhat lost in thought.

Su Xinghe, hearing the howl from the forbidden area in the valley, but not his master's voice, assumed an intruder had invaded and rushed over. Upon seeing Su Xinghe arrive, Yu Xuyu briefly recounted everything to him. Su Xinghe knew his master's time was near, but his sudden passing still saddened him.

The two brothers busied themselves, without seeking help, burying their master in an open area behind the forbidden ground. Standing before their master's grave, they discussed their future plans. Yu Xuyu said, "With Master gone and my divine skills incomplete, Senior Brother, you must continue to feign deafness and muteness, and not give Ding Chunqiu any excuse. Master instructed me to go to Wuliang Mountain to learn martial arts; I will leave immediately. When I have mastered my skills, I will come to join you, Senior Brother, and together we will seek revenge against Ding Chunqiu."

Su Xinghe said, “Junior Brother, you have internal strength but lack martial arts foundation. Why not let my eight disciples accompany you? My eight disciples are the Eight Friends of Hangu in the martial arts world. Because I feared Ding Chunqiu would kill them, I expelled them to avoid being implicated. Now that Master has entrusted you with this important task, I will bring them back into the sect and have them protect you along the way.”

Chapter 4: The Eight Friends of Hangu

Su Xinghe had not appeared in the martial arts world for many years and was therefore unknown. His eight disciples, however, had been wandering the martial arts world for many years and were quite famous. Besides learning martial arts from Su Xinghe, each of the Eight Friends of Hangu had learned a miscellaneous skill. The eldest, Kang Guangling, was renowned throughout the land for his zither playing; the second, Fan Bailing, was a chess master surpassing even his teacher, virtually unmatched; the third, Gou Du, was a voracious reader, well-versed in the works of various philosophers; the fourth, Wu Lingjun, was a skilled painter, adept at landscapes, figures, birds, and flowers; the fifth, Xue Muhua, specialized in medicine, renowned in the martial arts world, and nicknamed "Enemy of Yama"; the sixth, Feng Asan, was a master craftsman, skilled in civil engineering; the seventh, Shi Qinglu, was famous for her beauty and proficient in cultivating flowers, bringing all the rare and exotic plants to life under her touch; the eighth, Li Kuilei, was devoted to performing in plays.

Although expelled from their master's school, these eight friends never forgot the kindness of their teacher's teachings, and together they called themselves the Eight Friends of Hangu, in remembrance of their master's grace in imparting their skills. Upon hearing their master's summons, the eight gathered at Hangu within a few days.

Seeing the eight people gathered, Su Xinghe ordered them all to the forbidden area. Pointing to Yu Xuyu, he said to them, "This time, he is the last disciple of your ancestor and also the new head of our sect."

Kang Guangling and the other eight said in unison, "Greetings, Headmaster Uncle."

Su Xinghe then said to Yu Xuyu, "Headmaster Junior Brother, these eight brothers were expelled from the sect by me back then, not because they had committed any wrongdoing, but because I feared that the old scoundrel Ding would harm them, and I couldn't bear to deafen them or cut off their tongues, so I resorted to this drastic measure. Today, I have rescinded my order and allowed them to rejoin the sect. Now, I have informed you, Headmaster Junior Brother, that we have performed the grand ceremony again to make them official disciples of our sect. Therefore, I need your promise, Headmaster Junior Brother."

Yu Xuyu said, "Since Senior Brother agrees to their rejoining the sect, I naturally have no objection."

Upon hearing this, the eight friends of Hangu were overjoyed. They all came forward to kowtow to their Headmaster Uncle in gratitude, then set up the incense burner, performed the grand ceremony of apprenticeship again, and then performed the re-entry ceremony.

After the ceremony, Su Xinghe said, "Since the sect leader hasn't mastered his martial arts yet, he dares not show himself publicly. Guangling, the eight of you will escort the sect leader to Wuliang Mountain to protect him during his training. Ding Chunqiu, that old scoundrel, is cunning and unpredictable; you must be extremely careful. Also, we haven't spread the news of your return to the sect yet, and the sect leader should temporarily remove the Immortal Ring of Freedom to avoid provoking that old scoundrel Ding Chunqiu."

Yu Xuyu nodded and said, "That's very true! We are still no match for Ding Chunqiu, so it's best to be cautious. Senior Brother, you should still act as if you're from the Deaf-Mute Sect. Guangling and the other eight, you must also conceal your presence while accompanying me to Wuliang Mountain. The name 'Freedom Sect' will never be heard by outsiders unless they are members of our sect. If anyone hears it intentionally or unintentionally, our sect's rule is immediate and swift execution; we will pursue them to the ends of the earth to silence them.

" Yu Xuyu said, "The rule that the name of the Xiaoyao Sect is not known to outsiders is too strange. Master once said that he wanted the Xiaoyao Sect to dominate the martial arts world, and that it would surely become famous sooner or later. Now we can break this rule. When I succeed, I will definitely establish my own sect and

bring glory to it." Yu Xuyu took out the scroll given to him by his master, unfurled it, and said to Su Xinghe, "Master told me to use this scroll to find a way to learn martial arts."

Su Xinghe looked at the palace beauty in the painting and said, "This is Master's wife, and also Master's junior sister. But Master and Master's wife have been separated for many years, and I don't know where they are now. But there is a small picture attached to the scroll, with an address marked on it. Junior brother, please keep it safe and don't let outsiders see it. Since Master said so before he died, please do as he says."

The eight people finished preparing and followed Yu Xuyu on their way. Xue Muhua disguised themselves as a group of merchants and headed to Wuliang Mountain. Along the way, Xue Muhua and the others knew their own knowledge was insufficient to teach Yu Xuyu, so they meticulously instructed him on methods such as acupressure, qi circulation, and the treatment of cold and heat toxins. Yu Xuyu, already possessing years of experience with the Xiaoyao Sect and being intelligent, had already mastered seven or eight tenths of the medical and martial arts techniques taught to him before even reaching Wuliang Mountain. He also diligently cultivated his internal energy at night to strengthen his foundation. However, he only knew the methods, not the underlying principles. Seeing that his demonstration was flawless, Su Xinghe, upon arriving at Wuliang Mountain, left Feng Asan behind to study the scroll, ordering the other seven to disperse and be on guard. Unrolling the scroll, a beautiful young woman in palace attire had painted a small picture. The landscape contained geographical features, the brushstrokes meticulous yet lively and fluid. It was clear that Wuya Zi was exceptionally talented, proficient in various miscellaneous subjects.

Wuliang Mountain was beautiful, with lush trees. Following the map, the group suddenly heard a loud, booming sound, like a surging tide. Looking up, they saw a massive waterfall cascading down a high cliff in the northwest corner, resembling an inverted Milky Way.

They climbed the cliff and searched for a long time before finding a way down. The valley was shrouded in mist, its end nowhere in sight. Reaching halfway down, they again couldn't find a path. Feng Asan carefully studied the map, parted the vines, and found a crevice in the cliff face, barely enough to climb down.

The group slowly descended along the crevice. The crevice was filled with sand, stones, and vegetation, preventing them from sliding down in one go. However, the cliff seemed endless. Fortunately, everyone was skilled in martial arts, and after climbing for an unknown amount of time, they still hadn't reached the bottom. Luckily, the cliff sloped more gently towards the bottom, no longer a sheer drop, allowing them to move much faster.

The roar of the water grew louder and louder until they reached the bottom of the valley. On the left cliff, a magnificent waterfall cascaded down like a jade dragon, pouring into a crystal-clear lake. Despite the continuous influx of water, the lake never overflowed, suggesting an outlet. At the point where the waterfall entered, the water churned, but just a dozen or so feet away, the lake became as smooth as a mirror. The moon shone into the lake, its reflection mirroring a bright, full moon. The group gasped in amazement at this wondrous sight, speechless with astonishment.

Shi Qinglu, a lover of flowers, noticed the clusters of camellias swaying gracefully in the moonlight beneath the valley floor and went to admire them closely. After admiring the camellias for a while, they went to the lake, scooped up some water, and drank it. The water was refreshingly sweet and cool, a cool stream flowing straight into their stomachs. They then took out their provisions, ate and drank their fill, and searched along the lake for locations not shown on the map.

The valley was quiet, save for the melodious chirping of birds. Yu Xuyu looked up at the waterfall, following its flow. To the right of the falls, a section of stone wall was smooth and jade-like

. Countless years of erosion had polished this half-wall so perfectly, like a mirror. Yu Xuyu guessed this was the jade wall described in the book. The sun was already setting, and a long rainbow appeared on the lake, incomparably beautiful. Yu Xuyu knew that rainbows appeared when sunlight reflected off the water. At this moment, Feng Asan, after searching for a while, parted the clumps of sour fruit trees, revealing a large, bare stone wall. Yu Xuyu knew he was getting closer to his target. This stone wall was exceptionally smooth, white as jade, yet resembled a bronze mirror. Feng Asan was looking for the mechanism, for this was the cave entrance marked on the map.

Beside it was a large rock perched atop a smaller rock. Feng Asan pushed on the right side of the rock with both hands, and it snapped back, producing a snapping sound like vines breaking from the bottom. It turned out that vines and grasses were intertwined between the large and small rocks. Feng Asan instructed everyone to bend down and clear away all the vines and creepers among the rocks. They then pushed again, and the rocks slowly rotated, resembling a large door. After rotating only halfway, a cave about three feet high was revealed.

The group was overjoyed and bent down to enter the cave. After walking about ten steps, the cave was completely dark. Feng Asan lit a torch, and they saw a stone path leading into the cave, sloping downwards and getting lower with each step. A large door appeared ahead. Yu Xuyu ordered everyone to exit the cave and pushed the door open himself. The door was very heavy, but with Yu Xuyu's effort, it slowly opened, and Yu Xuyu stepped inside. After walking about ten meters, another door appeared ahead. Yu Xuyu pushed it open with force, and suddenly, light shone through.

This was a circular stone chamber, with light filtering in from the left, a hazy, otherworldly glow unlike natural light. Suddenly, a large shrimp swam past the window in the light. Intrigued, Yu Xuyu took a few more steps and saw a brightly patterned carp leisurely passing by the window. Upon closer inspection, the window was actually a large crystal, about the size of a copper basin, embedded in the stone wall, through which the light shone.

The emerald green water rippled constantly, with fish and shrimp swimming back and forth. Yu Xuyu snapped out of his reverie at the crystal and saw a stone table in the room, with a stool in front of it. A bronze mirror sat on the table, and beside it were combs and hairpins. It seemed this was Li Qiushui's boudoir. Yu Xuyu knew that Li Qiushui was now in the Western Xia palace and had been away from this place for many years.

In the southwest corner of the room, there was a crack in the stone wall. Yu Xuyu pushed hard, and sure enough, it was a stone door. It slowly slid open, and down more than a hundred stone steps, there was another door in front of him. He reached out and pushed the door, and suddenly his eyes were filled with light.

Chapter 5 Wuliang Mountain Training

A jade statue carved from white jade was placed in the center of the stone chamber. The jade statue was the size of a living person, and the pale yellow silk robe it wore trembled slightly; what was even more strange was that a pair of eyes were carved from black gemstones, shining brightly and full of spirit. Yu Xuyu knew that this jade statue was made by Wuyazi, and was made according to the figure and appearance of Li Canghai.

On the east wall were dozens of lines of text, all of which were sentences from "Zhuangzi", mostly from the chapters "Free and Easy Wandering", "Nourishing Life", "Autumn Floods" and "Supreme Happiness". The brushstrokes were elegant, as if they were carved with a sharp tool with extremely strong wrist strength, and each stroke penetrated into the stone wall by nearly half an inch. At the end of the text was a line that read: "Written by Xiaoyaozi for Qiushui. In the cave, there is no sun or moon;

this is the greatest joy in the world." Yu Xuyu guessed that this must have been written by Wuyazi and Li Qiushui when they were deeply in love.

Following the clues in the diagram, Yu Xuyu examined the jade statue's shoes. Looking closely, he saw that the right shoe was embroidered with the eight characters "Kowtowing a thousand times, serving my command," and the left shoe with the eight characters "Obeying my command, a hundred deaths without regret." Knowing that the secret manual was hidden under the futon next to the embroidered shoes, he moved the futon and reached in. Inside was a silk bundle.

The bundle was about a foot long, with several lines of fine writing on it: "This scroll contains the essential martial arts of my Xiaoyao Sect. Every day at dawn, noon, and dusk, you must diligently practice it once."

Holding the silk bundle, Yu Xuyu knew it must contain the Xiaoyao Sect's secret manuals, such as the Northern Darkness Divine Art.

The first manual, "The Northern Darkness Divine Skill," reads: "Zhuangzi's 'Free and Easy Wandering' says: 'North of the desolate lands lies the Dark Sea, the Heavenly Pool. There are fish there, thousands of miles wide, their length unknown.' It also says: 'Furthermore, if the water is not deep enough, it cannot support a large boat. If you pour a cup of water onto a shallow pond, a mustard seed can float on it; but if you place the cup there, it will stick, because the water is shallow and the boat is large.' Therefore, the first principle of our school's martial arts is to accumulate internal strength. Once internal strength is abundant, all martial arts in the world can be used by me, just like the Northern Darkness, which can carry both large and small boats, and accommodate both large and small fish. Therefore, internal strength is fundamental, and techniques are secondary. The following illustrations must be carefully studied."

Yu Xuyu opened the scroll, which depicted a reclining nude woman, completely naked, with every thread clearly visible. Yu Xuyu, now an adult, looked at the nude woman on the scroll and was overcome with lust. The nude woman in the painting smiled alluringly, her eyebrows, eyes, lips, and cheeks radiating a seductive charm. Though her appearance resembled the solemn jade statue, her expression was vastly different. Yu Xuyu's heart pounded, and his mouth went dry. He noticed a thin green line on the nude woman's body, starting from her left shoulder, running horizontally down her neck,

and diagonally to her right breast. Seeing the woman's prominent breasts, Yu Xuyu was deeply moved. He quickly closed his eyes, performed a qigong exercise, and after a long while, opened them again. He saw the green line extending to her armpit, down her right arm, past her wrist, and ending at her right thumb.

Another green line extended downwards from her neck, down her abdomen, and ended a few inches from her navel. Beside the lines were small characters marking "Yunmen," "Zhongfu," "Tianfu," "Xiabai," "Chize," "Kongzui," "Lieque," "Jingqu," "Dayuan," and "Yuji," ending at the "Shaoshang" point on her thumb. Yu Xuyu knew these were the names of acupoints.

At the bottom of the scroll, it reads: "The Northern Darkness Divine Skill draws upon the internal energy of the world and makes it my own. The great Northern Darkness Water does not arise spontaneously. As the saying goes, 'A hundred rivers flow into the sea,' and the sea's water is formed by containing a hundred rivers. Vast oceans and immense depths are formed through accumulation. This 'Hand Taiyin Lung Meridian' is the first lesson of the Northern Darkness Divine Skill."

Below the naked woman is a detailed description of the practice method.

It concludes: "Most people practice martial arts from Yunmen to Shaoshang, but our Xiaoyao School does the opposite, starting from Shaoshang and progressing to Yunmen. When the thumb touches another person, their internal energy enters my body and is stored in acupoints such as Yunmen. However, if the enemy's internal energy is greater than mine, it's like seawater overflowing into rivers—extremely dangerous. Be careful, be careful. Our branch has not grasped the essentials; we can only neutralize the enemy's internal energy, but cannot draw it upon our own. It's like taking a thousand pieces of gold and then throwing it away—a wasteful squandering of precious resources, utterly laughable." Yu

Xuyu felt this skill suited his purposes best, drawing upon the opponent's internal energy to gain one's own—a method that harmed the enemy while benefiting oneself, making it the fastest way to practice. The long scroll was filled with portraits of nude women, some standing, some lying down, some showing their chests, some their backs. The faces of the women were all similar, but their expressions varied—some joyful, some sorrowful, some gazing with affection, some with slight anger—each conveying a different emotion. There were thirty-six images in total, each marked with fine colored lines indicating acupoints and the practice techniques.

The scroll also recorded the first technique, "Lingbo Weibu" (淨波微步) . The manual depicting the lightness skill was filled with countless footprints, marked with words like "sister-in-law" and "no delusion," all corresponding to directions from the I Ching. Yu Xuyu had recently studied the I Ching with Su Xinghe in Han Gu and could understand it quite well. The footprints were densely packed, numbering in the hundreds or thousands, each connected by a green line with arrows, indicating a complex footwork technique. Finally, a line read: "In case of a sudden encounter with a powerful enemy, use this to protect yourself, accumulate internal strength, and then take the enemy's life." "

Yu Xuyu first learned these footwork techniques and immediately found them extremely exquisite.

The last part of the scroll was titled 'The Inner Classic of Free and Easy Wandering,' but it depicted a book of illustrations of male and female intercourse. Each illustration was accompanied by a note indicating the route of qi circulation for both men and women, totaling twelve illustrations. Detailed explanations were provided according to the different ages of the men and women: methods for controlling young girls, methods for controlling young women, and methods for controlling women with seductive arts. It concluded: 'This Inner Classic is a method of dual cultivation of yin and yang for men and women. The more cauldrons one has in practicing this art, the faster the cultivation will be. If one has no cauldrons, one must not practice this art, otherwise one will suffer qi deviation. If one can practice this art through intercourse with a woman who practices this art, one can achieve twice the result with half the effort, and both of their skills will improve rapidly. When practicing this art, one must be careful with women who practice seductive arts. If the other party is powerful and harbors ill intentions, great disaster will befall you. Remember this.'"

At the foot of the stone bed was another moon gate, and on the wall beside the gate were four characters: "Langhuan Blessed Land." As soon as Yu Xuyu stepped through the gate and looked around, he immediately let out a long sigh of relief, feeling greatly relieved . The cave was an enormous stone cave, several times larger than the outer stone chamber. It was filled with wooden bookshelves, overflowing with martial arts manuals from various schools, including the Kunlun School, Shaolin School, Sichuan Qingcheng School, and Shandong Penglai School. The Shaolin School's label noted "Missing the Yi Jin Jing"; the Beggars' Sect's label noted "Missing the Eighteen Subduing Dragon Palms and the Dog-Beating Staff Technique"; and the Dali Duan Family's label noted "Missing the One-Finger Divine Skill and the Six Meridian Divine Sword Technique."

It was dinnertime, and Shi Qinglu came in to invite the sect leader to dinner. After dinner with his eight friends, Yu Xuyu had them clean their lodgings in the cave. He then instructed them to peruse the various schools' manuals, telling each person to choose two or three suitable martial arts techniques to practice, and not to be greedy.

The group settled down and practiced diligently in the valley, and nearly half a year passed in the blink of an eye. By this time, Yu Xuyu had already... Having mastered the Divine Skill and the Lingbo Weibu (a martial arts technique), and having almost thoroughly studied the secret manuals of various schools, Yu Xuyu possessed over seventy years of internal energy from Wuyazi. Intelligent and quick-witted, he progressed rapidly in mastering the

various manuals. With his high internal energy, extensive training in various martial arts, and the unparalleled Lingbo Weibu as a safeguard, the combined attack of the Eight Friends of Hangu posed no threat to him; their mission of protection was complete. Yu Xuyu ordered the Eight Friends to escort the various school manuals from the cave to Hangu, where they would be taught to all the disciples.

Because the path they had come from was too steep, Feng Asan busied himself searching for another way out, finally discovering a mechanism in a wall that revealed a small door. After walking up over a hundred steps and turning three corners, he faintly heard the roar of water. After climbing another two hundred steps, the sound of water became deafening, and light shone through.

Looking out from the cave entrance, the raging torrents and rapid currents revealed a vast river. The riverbanks were lined with steep, rugged cliffs; they had reached the banks of the Lancang River. Feng Asan, both surprised and delighted, slowly climbed out of the cave, finding himself about ten zhang (approximately 33 meters) above the river. After several small bends, he reached the riverbank, which was entirely rocky with no path. After walking for another ten zhang or so, he finally found a small trail. Following the trail, he finally reached a stone bridge across the river.

Having found the exit, Kang Guangling instructed Feng Asan to hire a carriage, and Wu Lingjun to buy some books and boxes to transport back to the cave. The group packed the secret manual into three boxes, added some more books on top, disguised themselves as merchants, and returned to Hangu.

Before departing, Kang Guangling instructed Shi Qinglu to stay behind and take care of Yu Xuyu.

Chapter 6: First Test of the Inner Classic

Only Yu Xuyu and Shi Qinglu remained in the cave. Both were busy practicing their skills, making significant progress. Yu Xuyu was deeply moved by Shi Qinglu's meticulous care and decided to teach her the Lingbo Weibu (凌波微步). Shi Qinglu knew that the Lingbo Weibu was a closely guarded secret of their sect, and was greatly touched, treating Yu Xuyu with even greater tenderness, like an older sister.

Yu Xuyu had mastered all his other skills, but hadn't thoroughly studied the Inner Classic. He opened the scroll to study its circulation routes. Yu Xuyu was exceptionally intelligent and quickly memorized the internal energy pathways, reciting them silently. Unexpectedly, his Qi (vital energy) began to circulate automatically within his body.

Yu Xuyu didn't notice it at first, but by the time he realized it, he was already halfway through the process. Wanting to stop, but fearing a qi deviation, he reluctantly allowed the Inner Classic to complete a full cycle. Once this qi was circulated, it was like taking an aphrodisiac; his whole body burned, and his eyes turned bloodshot. Without sexual intercourse with a woman, it was even easier to suffer a qi deviation.

Yu Xuyu, now an adult, naturally possessed strong desires. The internal energy in the scroll aroused these desires, which he suppressed with his internal strength, his face gradually turning crimson, showing signs of impending demonic possession.

Shi Qinglu happened to enter the room and, seeing Yu Xuyu's flushed face and trembling slightly as he practiced his internal energy, knew something was wrong. A scroll unfurled before Yu Xuyu, and a few lines of small characters caught Shi Qinglu's attention. She realized that without intercourse, Yu Xuyu might suffer a demonic possession.

Shi Qinglu was extremely anxious, her heart in turmoil. She gently took out a fragrant handkerchief and wiped the sweat from Yu Xuyu's forehead. Yu Xuyu, burning with desire, forced himself to suppress it with his internal energy. Smelling the fragrance emanating from Shi Qinglu, he involuntarily opened his eyes, looking at her beautiful figure before him. His desire intensified, and he involuntarily pulled Shi Qinglu into his arms.

Although Shi Qinglu was nearing thirty, she was still a virgin. Now, held in Yu Xuyu's arms, inhaling his strong masculine scent and feeling the heat emanating from his body, her heart pounded wildly, and she felt somewhat confused and infatuated.

Yu Xuyu's bloodshot eyes were fixed on the stunningly beautiful young woman, his mind already wandering, and he couldn't help but kiss Shi Qinglu's cherry lips. Shi Qinglu, stunned by her precious first kiss, let Yu Xuyu take it, momentarily forgetting to react. When Yu Xuyu began to suckle her tongue, Shi Qinglu suddenly realized what was happening, her slender hands pressing against Yu Xuyu's chest, trying to push him away.

Yu Xuyu, burning with desire, ignored all her resistance, holding Shi Qinglu tightly, sucking her tongue while his hands lightly caressed her breasts outside her clothes. Shi Qinglu felt as if she had been electrocuted.

Shi Qinglu's eyebrows were lightly drawn, her lips slightly tinged with rouge. Her skin was like solidified cream, smooth as a mirror; her lips like newly ripened cherry blossoms; her eyebrows like distant mountains. Her eyes, brimming with light, seemed like two deep pools, drawing one in with unfathomable tenderness. Now, lightly draped in a gauze skirt, her sash slightly parted, her soft breaths and moans only amplified her

allure. Yu Xuyu gently nibbled at Shi Qinglu's ear, his hot breath making her heart itch. Yu Xuyu said, "You're so beautiful, I love you to death."

He kissed her delicate neck while simultaneously unbuttoning her outer garment. When Shi Qinglu awoke from her daze, his devilish hands had already slipped inside her clothes, directly kneading her soft, white breasts.

Shi Qinglu's body went limp, completely lost in the moment. She no longer resisted, letting him do as he pleased. Her body began to burn, her lower body becoming wet. The fiery kisses and forceful kneading made her abandon everything. She began to moan, her reason gone, feeling the fire of desire burning every inch of her skin. The increasingly forceful caresses were like adding fuel to the fire, and she couldn't help but cling tightly to Yu Xuyu.

Yu Xuyu gradually removed her clothes, revealing a pure white, translucent body, beautiful as a lotus emerging from water, captivating as a fairy descended from heaven. He quickly removed his own clothes, his fine, firm muscles glistening with a thin sheen of sweat.

Shi Qinglu could clearly feel that hot, powerful body contacting and rubbing against her fair skin. The strong masculine scent made her heart pound like a deer, and she couldn't help but imagine the immense pleasure such a powerful body would bring her.

Yu Xuyu lifted her soft, pinkish-white buttocks, playing with his lips and tongue in her moist, warm valley. As he gently stroked her sensitive garden, waves of happiness almost overwhelmed Shi Qinglu.

With a mixture of firmness and tenderness, his body overlapped with hers, his hot tip knocking open the tightly closed jade gate. A massive, fiery object pierced deep into Shi Qinglu's soul, the instant pain pulling her back to reality from her trance.

She cried out softly, desperately trying to push Yu Xuyu away. But Yu Xuyu, blinded by desire, began to thrust instinctively, disregarding everything else. Her virginity was lost in the pain; blood trickled down her fair legs and skin, a stark contrast of red and white. Pain and shame brought Shi Qinglu to her senses; she felt an urge to cry, and glistening tears streamed down her peach-blossom cheeks.

The tears sobered Yu Xuyu considerably; he suppressed his urge to thrust relentlessly, remaining motionless. His mind began to clear, and he began to use the techniques of the Inner Classic, techniques that included methods for intercourse with a virgin.

Yu Xuyu began to activate his internal energy. The intense primordial yin energy of the virgin flowed slowly from her lower body into his. After the first cycle of circulation, his eyes suddenly brightened, indicating that Shi Qinglu was an excellent training vessel, and Yu Xuyu's internal energy had greatly improved.

As Yu Xuyu practiced his energy, his lower body began to tremble slightly. The primordial yin energy mixed with his pure yang internal energy, circulating once to generate a powerful current that began to surge from his lower body.

This current violently struck Shi Qinglu's deepest point, allowing her to endure the painful process. A surge of energy stimulated her soul, instantly igniting a passion that had been dormant for many years.

Yu Xuyu began to instruct her on the path of energy circulation in her ear, and the two began to circulate their energy simultaneously. The pleasure in their lower bodies, like endless waves, began to impact their minds, and when their energy merged, they felt a strange comfort at their point of contact.

The constant writhing and contracting enveloped Yu Xuyu's massive member, while its rhythmic movements stimulated Shi Qinglu's clitoris. Because of the mutual complementation of yin and yang, their energy mutually compensated for each other's deficiencies, becoming even stronger.

A tingling, itchy sensation mixed with the pleasure of being assaulted overwhelmed Shi Qinglu's last shred of restraint. Her ecstatic moans echoed loudly in the room. Having cast aside her last shred of modesty, the pleasure she experienced surged once more, sending her straight to a

blissful state in her mind. Her smooth, tight flower cave entwined tightly, her snow-white, beautiful body writhing wildly, her rhythmic moans filled with the joy of intercourse. Under this triple temptation, Yu Xuyu began to unleash his power. Her flower cave contracted sharply; he clearly felt himself swell to his limit inside her.

As the combined cultivation technique circulated, Shi Qinglu trembled, the lingering torrent of pleasure engulfing her once more. Unconsciously, the combined cultivation technique brought their bodies deeply intertwined. Both were experiencing this for the first time, feeling an endless stream of pleasure.

Although the pain of losing her virginity was unavoidable, that pain gave Shi Qinglu an unprecedented sense of satisfaction. She twisted her slender waist, causing the hard, massive object deeply embedded inside her to rub violently with his movements.

After the fierce, whirlwind-like intensity came the gentle warmth of a spring breeze. Even this slight rhythm plunged Shi Qinglu into another wave of passion. Her body stiffened and relaxed, then stiffened again, then relaxed again, repeating this process endlessly, allowing her to fully savor the alluring pleasures of womanhood.

The increasingly fierce thrusts made Shi Qinglu writhe incessantly, her body shimmering with moisture as they met. Yu Xuyu's massive member, aided by the pleasure of her overflowing lower body, smoothly penetrated to its hilt. This deep assault brought her intense pleasure, almost shattering her most secret, hidden core.

After a period of intense thrusting, he began to gently attack her now-open palace, the impact of their bodies creating a harmonious melody. Her involuntary moans became the most beautiful harmonies. In this symphony of flesh and spirit, Yu Xuyu unleashed his desire, scattering his seed deep within her tender depths.

Having been tossed to the heavens countless times by waves of joy, Shi Qinglu began to accept the powerful ejaculation and energy, surrendering her passion with the pleasure in her body. The two used their techniques to recover the energy from their union. After meditating for a full cycle, their eyes brightened; their power had increased rapidly during their union.

Desire burned, and with the beginning came joy. They continuously improved their power during their union, releasing their desires in the process. The intense activity of the night left them disheveled as they drifted into a blissful dream.

Chapter 7: Recovering from the Wuliang Sect (Part 1)

Yu Xuyu practiced martial arts in a cave on Wuliang Mountain, mastering several divine skills and grasping the essence of various sects' techniques. Yu Xuyu cultivated the Xiaoyao Neijing (Inner Classic of Freedom), and fortunately, with Shi Qinglu by his side, their power greatly increased.

Yu Xuyu didn't know the exact time of the events in "Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils," only remembering the general course of the story and the main characters. Yu Xuyu decided to investigate the Wuliang Sect at night to see if the martial arts competition between the two factions had already taken place.

The Wuliang Sword Sect was originally divided into three branches: East, North, and West. The North branch had declined in recent decades, while the East and West branches were thriving with talent. Every five years, disciples from the three branches would compete in swordplay at the Sword Lake Palace. The winning branch would reside in the Sword Lake Palace for five years, and the competition would resume in the sixth year.

Yu Xuyu only remembered that one branch leader was named Zuo Zimu, and the other Xin Shuangqing; he couldn't recall clearly who the East and West branch leaders were. Yu Xuyu's impression was that Zuo Zimu was currently residing in the Sword Lake Palace.

That night, Yu Xuyu greeted Shi Qinglu, asking her to guard the cave, and then used his lightness skill to speed up the mountain. At this time, Yu Xuyu possessed over seventy years of internal energy from Wuya Zi, and his recent dual cultivation with Shi Qinglu had greatly improved his power.

In terms of martial arts techniques, Yu Xuyu had the internal energy of Wuyazi as his foundation. Although he hadn't learned the unique skills of the Xiaoyao Sect's Tianshan Zhemei Hand, he had already mastered most of the techniques from various schools. What he lacked was combat experience and refinement.

After suffering setbacks, Yu Xuyu's temperament changed drastically, and he became obsessed with studying martial arts. Modern science had clarified the principles of martial arts, and Yu Xuyu had also learned several forms of Tai Chi in his previous life. Based on his powerful internal energy, Yu Xuyu combined the powerful techniques of various schools with modern martial arts principles and Tai Chi principles to create two sets of unique skills: a palm technique named Tai Chi Palm and a sword technique named Tai Chi Sword.

Tai Chi Palm has eight forms, while Tai Chi Sword has only three moves. Yu Xuyu's newly created fist techniques integrated the extremely powerful moves of various schools, each move incredibly powerful. His three sword moves, which were launched after the opponent's attack but struck first, were similar to Linghu Chong's swordsmanship, using no moves to defeat moves. The three sword techniques each have a different purpose: one is primarily offensive, one primarily defensive, and the other a combination of both.

Yu Xuyu's current martial arts skills may not be considered the best in the world, but there are few who can compare to him. However, Yu Xuyu is uncertain about his abilities. Having never truly fought anyone, he lacks confidence in his current skills. But he is extremely confident in his lightness skill; with his powerful internal energy and unparalleled lightness footwork, he is confident that no one except a few senior members of his sect can surpass him.

The cliff now appears almost like flat ground to Yu Xuyu. He leaps upwards, his figure graceful, rising slowly, his internal energy circulating. Each breath is incredibly long; when his internal energy stagnates, he descends to catch his breath. Yu Xuyu then finds places to gain leverage, or simply places his feet on the instep, continuing his ascent.

Sword Lake Palace soon appears before him. The building is much simpler than Yu Xuyu has imagined, resembling a three-tiered Taoist temple. The front courtyard housed the council hall and training grounds, the middle courtyard served as the disciples' living quarters, and the rear courtyard was where the sect's elders settled their families.

At this moment, lights were still on in the council hall. Yu Xuyu bypassed the guards, leaped onto the roof, gently moved a tile, and peered in. Two rows of people sat in the council hall. In the central seat, an elderly man in his fifties, stroking his long beard, was listening to the elders' opinions.

To the left, in the first seat, sat an elderly man with white hair and a white beard, seemingly of high seniority within the sword sect. He stood up and said, “The East-West Sect competition consists of five sword duels, with the winner being the one who wins three. Therefore, for tomorrow's five duels, we already know the West Sect's representatives. If nothing unexpected happens, the West Sect will send a master to fight in the first match and secure a victory. They will then send a master for the fourth and fifth matches, forfeiting the second and third. Therefore, when arranging our representatives, we should try to win the first three matches, thus securing a decisive victory.”

After the white-haired man finished speaking, silence fell over the surroundings. Seeing that everyone had no objections, Zuo Zimu distributed the list of participants for tomorrow. Yu Xuyu, hearing what everyone was saying, knew that the Sword Lake Palace martial arts competition had not yet taken place, and was overjoyed. He was already imagining what Zhong Ling would look like.

The next day, Yu Xuyu arrived at the Sword Lake Palace main hall and saw that a fight was already underway. A middle-aged man and a young boy were locked in a fierce battle, exchanging blows and parries. In the main hall, Zuo Zimu led his entourage to the main seats, while a middle-aged Daoist nun of about forty years old led more than twenty male and female disciples to the guest seats. The two groups faced each other across the hall. Between the two groups, a row of chairs sat more than ten guests. All eyes were focused on the duel between the two fighters.

Yu Xuyu looked around, searching for Zhong Ling. At that moment, he saw a green-clad figure leap out of the giant tree in front of the hall. She moved nimbly, taking advantage of the crowd's focus on the duel, leaping into the hall through the window and onto the roof beam. The girl blew a puff of air to clear the dust from the beam, then sat on it and took out more than ten small snakes from a bag behind her to play with.

Yu Xuyu knew that this girl must be Zhong Ling, and he imitated Zhong Ling, leaping into the tree, entering the hall through the window, and then leaping onto the roof beam. Zhong Ling saw Yu Xuyu approach and was about to speak when Yu Xuyu gestured for her to be quiet. Yu Xuyu smiled and brushed the dust off the beam with his hand before sitting down beside Zhong Ling.

Zhong Ling was about sixteen or seventeen years old, dressed in green, with a radiant smile. In her hands, she held several small snakes, some green, some spotted, all with triangular heads—all venomous. But she held them as if they were toys, showing no fear.

Yu Xuyu, however, was somewhat afraid of snakes and gestured for Zhong Ling to put them away. Zhong Ling saw that Yu Xuyu was tall and slender, dressed in a white scholar's robe, with an elegant demeanor and dark, starry eyes—a handsome young man. She was intrigued and silently observed him.

At that moment, the middle-aged man in the room made a mistake, his body swaying slightly as if he were about to fall. A young man in a blue robe among the guests couldn't help but chuckle. He immediately realized his mistake and quickly covered his mouth. Yu Xuyu recognized the man as Duan Yu, and seeing that the two on the field were of mediocre skill, full of flaws, he withdrew his gaze and sized up Duan Yu. He noticed that Duan Yu was slightly thinner than himself, with a fair complexion and red lips, a handsome and dashing young man.

At that moment, the burly man in the arena shouted, "Take this!"

His longsword struck his opponent's leg. The young man staggered, using his sword to brace himself as he straightened up, ready to fight again. The middle-aged man had already sheathed his sword and laughed, "Junior Brother Chu, thank you for your mercy, thank you for your mercy. Are you badly injured?"

The young man, pale-faced, bit his lip and said, "Thank you for your mercy, Senior Brother Gong."

Zuo Zimu, his face full of smugness, smiled slightly and said, "The Eastern Sect has won three battles and will be staying at 'Sword Lake Palace' for another five years."

Xin Shuangqing's face turned cold as she suppressed her anger and said, "The disciples of the Eastern Sect are indeed outstanding. I wonder if Senior Brother has gained much insight into the 'Boundless Jade Wall'?"

Zuo Zimu glared at her and said sternly, "Does Junior Sister Xin not know the rules of our sect?"

Xin Shuangqing realized her mistake, snorted, and said nothing more.

Those sitting sideways were all notaries and guests of honor, all well-known figures in the Yunnan martial arts world. While the others were unaware of Duan Yu's background, Yu Xuyu knew that Duan Yu was a prince of the Dali Kingdom. Yu Xuyu knew what was about to happen: the Sword Lake Sect would provoke Duan Yu. He used telepathy to tell Zhong Ling, "That young man is Duan Yu, the prince of the Dali Kingdom. He has abandoned martial arts for literature and will surely

embarrass himself later. Give me some melon seeds so I can help him." Zuo Zimu was petty and secretly angry at Duan Yu's earlier mocking laughter. At this moment, the fight between the two sects ended. He looked at Duan Yu and said, "This Brother Duan seems to look down on the martial arts of my Wuliang Sword Sect. Would you please give me some pointers?"

Ma Wude blushed slightly and hurriedly said, "This Brother Duan is not my disciple. How can your old brother's amateurish skills be worthy of being someone's master? Brother Zuo, please don't make fun of me in front of everyone. This Brother Duan came to my home in Pu'er and heard that I was going to Wuliang Mountain, so he came along. He said that Wuliang Mountain has beautiful scenery and he wanted to come and enjoy the scenery. May I ask what your name is, Brother Duan, and which master you are a disciple of?"

Duan Yu smiled and said, "I am Duan Yu. My laughter just now was unintentional. I have never practiced martial arts since I was a child. Please forgive me, Master Zuo."

Chapter 8: Subduing the Wuliang Sect (Part 2)

Although Zuo Zimu felt that Duan Yu spoke humbly, he was determined to embarrass Duan Yu. He said, "Guangjie, people were laughing at you just now. You should exchange a few moves with Young Master Duan; don't tarnish the reputation of the Wuliang Sword Sect." Gong Guangjie, upon hearing this, stepped into the arena and bowed to Duan Yu, saying, "Please!"

Duan Yu stood up and said, "I really don't know martial arts. Do you think I'm lying to you? First, I don't know; second, I'm afraid of losing; third, I'm afraid of pain; fourth, I'm afraid of death. I said I won't fight, and that's final."

Some of the younger disciples of the Wuliang Sword Sect, finding Duan Yu's words amusing, couldn't help but laugh. Gong Guangjie, however, couldn't bring himself to back down. He pointed his sword at Duan Yu's chest, the tip only inches away.

Duan Yu's family had many skilled fighters; although he didn't practice martial arts, he was bold and showed no sign of panic. Seeing this, Gong Guangjie knew he couldn't back down. He sheathed his sword and suddenly swung his left hand. Everyone thought Duan Yu was bound to suffer a loss, but unexpectedly, Gong Guangjie cried out in pain. Before his left hand could even strike Duan Yu's face, he was suddenly jerked back as if electrocuted, suffering a severe blow for no apparent reason.

Upon closer inspection, no one could discern the cause. Gong Guangjie tore open his left sleeve, revealing his entire left forearm was bruised and purple, fortunately without any broken bones. The crowd was shocked, believing Duan Yu's martial arts were mysterious and capable of injuring without a trace.

Seeing Gong Guangjie's predicament, Zuo Zimu jumped onto the field, pointing his sword at Duan Yu, saying, "I don't know if you are a man of exceptional talent, young master. I, Zuo, would like to learn from you

." Duan Yu, still bewildered by what had just happened, was at a loss when Zuo Zimu entered the field. Suddenly, a voice rang out, saying, "The more arrogant you are with him, the better. With my help, you have nothing to fear."

Duan Yu knew the voice was from a top-tier master, and the incident must have been his doing. His courage surged. He said, "Sect Leader Zuo, please don't be angry. We have no grudges against each other, so why draw swords against each other? If I accidentally injure you, it will be embarrassing for everyone."

Zuo Zimu's mind raced upon hearing this. Hearing Duan Yu's arrogant words and the seemingly mysterious technique he had just used, which he hadn't even clearly seen, he dared not act rashly. He stood frozen, lost in thought. Just as everyone thought Zuo Zimu wouldn't dare to attack, he regained his composure, realizing that if he withdrew his sword now, he would be ridiculed.

Without further ado, he twirled his sword and thrust it straight at Duan Yu. Duan Yu, seeing the flashing sword aimed at his face, was greatly alarmed and tried to dodge, but froze in fear. At that critical moment, a crisp clang rang out, and Zuo Zimu's longsword suddenly broke in two. Zuo Zimu stood there, unsure whether to advance or retreat, caught in a dilemma.

Although Xin Shuangqing and Zuo Zimu belonged to different sects, seeing Zuo Zimu's humiliation, Xin Shuangqing leaped into the arena. Beside Zuo Zimu's broken sword on the ground lay only a single melon seed. Xin Shuangqing and Zuo Zimu exchanged a glance, recognizing this man's extraordinary skill; with the power of a melon seed, he had broken a fine steel sword. The two assumed Duan Yu possessed exceptional skill and dared not be rude again. Xin Shuangqing said, "We were unaware of your martial arts prowess,

young master. It was our sect's fault. I, Xin, apologize to Young Master Duan." Duan Yu, still reeling from Zuo Zimu's scare, quickly stood up and bowed to the two, saying, "I was rude just now. I apologize to both of you. Please forgive my rudeness, Sect Leader Zuo."

Zuo Zimu, now filled with fear, returned the bow with Xin Shuangqing and returned to their seats. Zhong Ling, with her girlish nature, found Yu Xuyu's farcical performance quite amusing. Seeing Zuo Zimu trembling with anger yet unable to retaliate, his beard quivering, she couldn't help but giggle.

The crowd, startled by the laughter, looked up and saw a man and a woman sitting on the roof beam. A beautiful young woman, her light green shoes embroidered with small yellow flowers, swayed with each step, seemingly finding the roof beam quite entertaining. Beside her sat a handsome scholar, smiling and greeting the crowd.

Several of Xin Shuangqing's female disciples, quite young, had previously been captivated by Duan Yu's youthful good looks. Suddenly seeing this young scholar on the roof, even more handsome than Duan Yu, his eyes seemingly full of allure, their hearts pounded and their faces flushed. Meanwhile, the male disciples below stared intently at Zhong Ling, their souls captivated by her beauty.

This turn of events was extremely strange, and everyone was still marveling at it. Suddenly, the man, pulling Zhong Ling along, leaped down, ignoring everyone else, and went to Duan Yu, saying, "Brother Duan, you are truly a remarkable person. It is truly fate that we meet today."

Zuo Zimu, a grandmaster of the sect, seeing two living people hiding on the beam in front of many martial arts masters and disciples, completely disregarding everyone, was filled with anger. He said to Shuangqing, "Junior Sister Xin, today my Wuliang Sword Sect has utterly disgraced itself. I wish to fight these two to the bitter end to avenge this humiliation. Please help me, Junior Sister."

Xin Shuangqing Calm and collected, she noticed the exquisite lightness of Yu Xuyu and Zhong Ling's leap, realizing they were no ordinary people. She said to Zuo Zimu, "I observe that these two are no ordinary individuals; they must be from the same sect as the Duan family. We must inquire thoroughly, or we risk humiliation."

Although Zuo Zimu was narrow-minded, he was, after all, the leader of a sect. Hearing Xin Shuangqing's reasoning, he suppressed his anger and stepped forward to bow, saying, "Zuo Zimu of the Wuliang Sword Sect, may I ask your esteemed names?"

Duan Yu knew that the person mentioned earlier must be Yu Xuyu, and rose to thank him with clasped hands. Just as the two were about to speak, they heard Zuo Zimu's question. Yu Xuyu's temperament had changed drastically; knowing it was unwise to make too many enemies in the martial world, he bowed and said, "My name is Yu Xuyu, and this is my girlfriend, Zhong Ling. You all truly failed to recognize my greatness. This young master Duan is no ordinary person; he is the prince of Zhennan, Dali."

The people in the hall were greatly surprised, and Zuo Zimu and Xin Shuangqing broke out in a cold sweat. The Duan family of Dali was renowned throughout the land for its martial arts, producing numerous masters, and was also a member of the royal family. Wuliang Mountain was Dali territory, and the Duan family was someone none of those present could afford to offend.

Zuo Zimu, having just suffered a setback, was indignant. Upon hearing that this person was the Prince of Zhennan, he was startled, but his composure immediately

returned. He and Xin Shuangqing stepped forward and bowed, saying, "We were unaware of Your Highness's arrival and have been negligent. Please forgive our insolence." Duan Yu, being approachable, returned the bow, saying, "Ignorance is no excuse. Besides, I secretly slipped out of the palace this time, not wanting to reveal my true identity. You can treat me as a friend from the martial world; there's no need for such formalities."

He was puzzled, however. He hadn't told anyone about his secret departure; how did this person know his identity?

As Duan Yu pondered this, the hall became lively. Everyone came forward to speak with Duan Yu, and being a polite person, he returned their bows one by one, keeping him busy for a while.

Seeing that Duan Yu hadn't reprimanded him, and since it was already time to eat, Zuo Zimu ordered a banquet to be prepared. The Eastern Sect, knowing they were certain of victory, had already prepared the food, and it was quickly brought out upon receiving Zuo Zimu's order.

Zhong Ling, however, was pestering Yu Xuyu, insisting on knowing how he knew his name. Unable to resist his nagging, Yu Xuyu used divination, saying, "I'm well-versed in the *I Ching*. This morning I performed a divination and not only know your name, but also the names of your parents. We can make a bet if you don't believe me."

Before Zhong Ling could reply, Xin Shuangqing personally came to invite them, and the two temporarily stopped talking and took their seats. Everyone pushed Duan Yu to sit at the head of the table, but Duan Yu pushed Yu Xuyu instead. Yu Xuyu, without much ceremony, simply declined and sat at the head of the table. Zhong Ling and Yu Xuyu were having a pleasant conversation, and not wanting to be separated, Zhong Ling sat next to Yu Xuyu, pushing Duan Yu to the third seat. Duan Yu, being modest, didn't mind at all.

Everyone assumed Duan Yu was of noble birth and had just witnessed his extraordinary skills, but seeing Yu Xuyu and Zhong Ling seated above him, they began to reconsider their status. Duan Yu genuinely didn't know their identities, and Yu Xuyu and Zhong Ling were unfamiliar names, so when asked, he was completely baffled. Everyone assumed their backgrounds were even higher than Duan Yu's, and therefore treated them with great respect.

As everyone was enjoying their drinks, Gong Guangjie was about to leave when someone rushed in. The two collided, and the person fell to the ground. Gong Guangjie quickly helped him up, exclaiming, "Uncle Rong, you… what happened to you!"

Zuo Zimu rushed forward and saw his junior brother Rong Ziju's eyes wide open, his face filled with resentment, but he was lifeless. Zuo Zimu was shocked and tried to revive him, but it was too late.

Chapter 9: Recovering the Wuliang Sect (Part 3)

Zuo Zimu knew that Rong Ziju's martial arts were inferior to his own, yet he had died instantly from the collision. He must have been seriously injured before entering. Zuo Zimu quickly unbuttoned Rong Ziju's shirt to check his injuries. As the shirt was removed, eight black characters were clearly written on his chest: "Shennong Gang Exterminates Wuliang Sword." Everyone gasped in unison.

These eight black characters were deeply embedded in his skin, neither written with ink nor carved with a sharp object, but rather with a highly poisonous substance, corroding the skin and sinking deep into it. Zuo Mu glanced at him briefly, then flew into a rage. He brandished his longsword, making it hum, and roared, "Let's see if the Shennong Gang will annihilate the Wuliang Sword, or the Wuliang Sword will annihilate the Shennong Gang! If this grudge isn't avenged, what kind of man am I?"

Looking at Rong Ziju's body, finding no other wounds, he shouted, "Guanghao, Guangjie, go outside and check!"

The two eldest disciples, Gan Guanghao and Gong Guangjie, each brandished their longswords, ready to rush out. At this moment, Yu Xuyu said, "Everyone, don't panic. Sit still and don't let the enemy take advantage."

Although Yu Xuyu's voice wasn't loud, it penetrated the noise in the room

and reached everyone's ears clearly. Zuo Zimu and Xin Shuangqing, both discerning individuals, knew that this man's martial arts were unfathomable. Seeing that Yu Xuyu was about to take charge, they felt reassured and also loudly said, "Everyone, please return to your seats and listen to Brother Yu."

The people in the hall took their seats, and soon quieted down.

Seeing that everyone had quieted down, Yu Xuyu said, "Please briefly explain how the Shennong Gang and your sect became enemies."

Zuo Zimu, heartbroken by his junior brother's tragic death, choked back tears and said, "It was about gathering herbs. Last autumn, four leaders of the Shennong Gang came to Jianhu Palace to request an audience, wanting to gather some herbs from our back mountain. The Shennong Gang originally made their living by gathering and selling herbs. Although they had no real connection with our Wuliang Sword Sect, they also had no enmity. But as you all know, our back mountain is a forbidden area of our sect, and outsiders are not easily allowed to enter. This is a rule passed down from our patriarch, and we juniors dare not violate it."

After listening, Yu Xuyu said to Zuo Zimu, "Send someone to scout out the situation and see how many enemies have come."

Zuo Zimu was in a state of great turmoil and readily obeyed Yu Xuyu's advice, immediately ordering Yu Guanghao to take three disciples to scout.

A short while later, the group returned, their expressions showing considerable alarm. Gan Guanghao said, "The Shennong Gang has gathered on the opposite mountain, guarding the mountain path and saying that no one is allowed to go down the mountain. There are about seventy or eighty people."

Another disciple brought over a letter, saying, "They shot an envelope at us with an arrow; the writing is extremely rude."

He then presented the letter. Zuo Zimu saw the five large characters written on the envelope: "Words to Zuo Zimu." He was about to open the envelope and take out the letter.

Yu Xuyu knew that the letter was poisoned and shouted, "Don't touch it! The letter is poisoned!"

Zuo Zimu was startled and held the envelope in his hand, not daring to open it. Yu Xuyu took the letter and flicked his hand in the air. The outer layer of the envelope immediately shattered into several pieces, revealing the letter inside. Yu Xuyu saw that the envelope read: "Gong Guangjie reads: 'You are given one hour to cut off your right hand, break your weapon, and leave Wuliang Mountain Sword Lake Palace, otherwise Wuliang Sword will spare no one.'"

He read the letter aloud to everyone. Yu Xuyu said, "

From a distance, the letter shows phosphorescence, indicating a deadly poison. If you don't believe me, have a puppy lick it a few times."

A disciple went out and brought in a puppy, poured some meat broth on the envelope, and the puppy licked it only three or five times before its limbs convulsed and it died. Everyone was horrified by the severity of the poison in the letter and became even more convinced of Yu Xuyu's abilities, obeying his every word.

Yu Xuyu then said to Zuo Zimu and Xin Shuangqing, "You don't need to fear their martial arts, but you can't defeat the Shennong Gang if you don't know how to use poison."

These words hit the nail on the head regarding the weakness of the Wuliang Sword Sect. If they fought with real skill, the Wuliang Sword Sect's Eastern and Western branches, along with the experts from various sects present, would not be able to defeat the Shennong Gang. However, when it came to using poison, none of them knew anything about it.

Although Su Xinghe is slightly inferior to Wu Yazi, his skill in using and detoxifying poison is unparalleled in the world. Yan Wangdi, though Yu Xuyu's nephew, is renowned for his medical skills and is also adept at using and detoxifying poison. Both had taught Yu Xuyu, so although he hadn't mastered the art, his knowledge was unmatched. However, he currently lacked the necessary medicine. While he could use his internal energy to save a few lives, he couldn't guarantee the safety of everyone in the hall.

Having mastered his divine skill, Yu Xuyu wanted to make a name for himself in the martial arts world. He knew that to dominate the martial arts world, he needed to spread kindness, establish a reputation for chivalry, and win people's hearts before achieving great things. Seeing the fear of poison among the crowd, he plotted to avert this disaster and win over these martial arts figures.

At this moment, Zhong Ling said from the side, "I'm afraid the reason for their feud isn't so simple. I overheard them talking on the mountain a few days ago, so there's probably another reason." Yu Xuyu, who was also nearby, suddenly remembered that Zhong Ling knew a lot of inside information and said to Zhong Ling, "Ling'er, tell us quickly to avert disaster for everyone."

Zhong Ling glanced at Yu Xuyu, blushed, and said, "One day I caught a snake on the mountain to feed the Lightning Sable."

Duan Yu asked in surprise, "Lightning Sable?"

Zhong Ling took out a small white sable from the sable bag behind him. It was less than a foot long, with red eyes and very sharp claws. Zhong Ling took out several more venomous snakes from the snake bag and fed them to the snake, continuing, "It runs as fast as lightning, hence the name Lightning Sable. It loves to eat venomous snakes and nothing else. I was looking for snakes in the grass when I heard several people approaching. One of them said, 'If we don't wipe out Wuliang Sword this time and seize his Wuliang Mountain and Sword Lake Palace, everyone in our Shennong Gang will have to slit their own throats.' I thought the idea of wiping out everyone sounded interesting, so I squatted down and remained silent. I heard them continue their conversation, saying they were acting on orders from the Lingjiu Palace on Misty Peak to seize Sword Lake Palace in order to uncover the truth about the 'Wuliang Jade Wall.'"

Upon hearing this, Yu Xuyu suddenly realized that the mastermind behind the Shennong Gang's actions was none other than Tianshan Tonglao from the Lingjiu Palace on Misty Peak. Tianshan Tonglao was Wuyazi's junior sister and also Yu Xuyu's senior aunt. If they could get Tianshan Tonglao's help, eliminating Ding Chunqiu would be much more likely. Without waiting for Zhong Ling to continue, he said to Zuo Zimu, "I already know the reason. Sect Leader Zuo can send someone to tell them that I want to see the Holy Envoy of Lingjiu Palace. They will definitely not dare to attack and will ask the Holy Envoy for permission first."

Zuo Zimu instructed Gan Guanghao, "Go quickly to the mountain path and tell the Shennong Gang leader that I have sent distinguished guests who wish to see the Holy Envoy of Lingjiu Palace. Please invite them to come and meet you."

Gan Guanghao accepted the order and hurriedly went out. Seeing that Yu Xuyu remained calm and composed despite the honor, the crowd knew he must be a disciple of a prominent family. They trusted him because of his clear and organized approach to assigning tasks, and patiently waited in the hall.

Gan Guanghao arrived at the mountain path and saw people blocking the way, carrying medicine pouches on their shoulders and holding short swords with extremely wide blades. Knowing they were from the Shennong Gang, he stepped forward and said, "I have come to deliver a message from a distinguished guest of my gang to your leader." The crowd asked, "What is it?"

Gan Guanghao replied, "I will explain after I see your leader. "

The man hurriedly went to report, and soon someone came to guide Gan Guanghao. The two turned a corner and found more than twenty people sitting in a circle among the rocks. A thin old man sat on a high rock in the crowd, towering above the others. He had a goatee and an arrogant demeanor. He was probably Sikong Xuan, the leader of the Shennong Gang.

Gan Guanghao bowed and said, "Greetings, Chief Sikong. I am Gan Guanghao."

Sikong Xuan nodded but did not stand up. He asked, "What brings you here?"

Gan Guanghao replied, "A distinguished guest from my sect wishes to see the Holy Envoy of Lingjiu Palace and has sent me to deliver a message."

Upon hearing this, Sikong Xuan's arrogance vanished. He stood up, bowed, and asked, "May I ask your name?"

Gan Guanghao answered, "My surname is Yu, and my given name is Xuyu."

Sikong Xuan then asked, "What is the purpose of your visit?"

Gan Guanghao replied, "The distinguished guest did not mention it, but his status is extremely high. Even the Prince of Zhennan of Dali respects him as his head."

Upon hearing that the Duan family was also present, Sikong Xuan was startled and said, "In that case, please return first. I will certainly convey this to the Holy Envoy."

He then led more than ten men away hastily, seemingly very afraid of the Holy Envoy and eager to return and report.

Less than two hours later, a voice at the gate announced, "An envoy from Lingjiu Palace is visiting Young Master Yu."

Yu Xuyu stopped the crowd and went out to greet them with only Zhong Ling. A beautiful young woman, tall and dignified, entered first. Behind her were ten young women, all dressed in identical emerald green cloaks and each carrying a pair of hooks. The young woman asked, "Is this Young Master Yu Xuyu?"

Yu

Xuyu stood up, cupped his hands in a salute, and replied using telepathy, "That is me. I have been waiting here for you envoys today. I have some connection with your master and may be able to resolve this calamity for the Wuliang Sword Sect. Please, envoys, consider my humble opinion and write to your master, 'My junior nephew, Yu Xuyu, will act as a peacemaker here.' If your master asks any questions, simply say the words 'Immortal Ring.'" Upon hearing

that Yu Xuyu was Tong Lao's junior nephew, the women immediately showed respect. The young woman, lacking internal energy, couldn't use telepathy. She took a few steps forward and whispered, "My name is Li Ji, a lowly soldier under my master. Since you claim to be my master's niece, what proof do you have?"

Yu Xuyu didn't answer, instead unleashing his Lingbo Xubu technique. Even with the women's high martial arts skills, they could only see a shadow. Seeing Yu Xuyu's incredible lightness skill, the women assumed it wasn't an exaggeration and bowed, saying, "In that case, I will immediately order the Shennong Gang to withdraw. We will follow your orders once they come down. News will arrive tomorrow. Please wait here, sir. Farewell."

After speaking, the women turned and left.

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief upon seeing the Shennong Gang withdraw. Having witnessed Yu Xuyu's superb lightness skill, they assumed his martial arts must be exceptional. For a moment, the hall was filled with flattery. The young women stared at Yu Xuyu with enthusiastic eyes, completely ignoring the noble Duan Yu.

Seeing that the matter was settled, Yu Xuyu said to everyone, "This matter is now concluded. Friends from afar, please continue your journeys. The two sect leaders can arrange the affairs of our sect. I will return tomorrow to await further news."

After seeing Yu Xuyu off, he grasped Zhong Ling and Duan Yu's hands and sped towards the cave.

Shi Qinglu, who was in the cave, saw Yu Xuyu bring two guests and quickly offered them fragrant tea. Seeing that Yu Xuyu had something to say to the two, she bowed and withdrew outside. Yu Xuyu said to the two, "Neither of you are skilled enough to protect yourselves. Since we have met, it is fate. I will teach you a set of light-body techniques."

The two had seen Yu Xuyu's extraordinary light-body techniques at Jianhu Palace and were overjoyed to hear him teach them.

Yu Xuyu first taught them the incantation of the Lingbo Weibu (凌波微步), which both, being intelligent, memorized within a few days. Yu Xuyu then taught them footwork. Zhong Ling, with his martial arts foundation, learned it very quickly. However, Duan Yu had no foundation at all, and found it difficult to practice.

Duan Yu's departure was initially due to his father, Duan Zhengchun, forcing him to learn martial arts. However, upon arriving home, he found himself bullied for lacking skills. Seeing Yu Xuyu teaching him lightness skills, he eagerly began to learn, but lacking internal energy foundation, his progress was slow, leaving him somewhat dejected. Yu Xuyu understood the reason for Duan Yu's slow progress and his current feelings.

Yu Xuyu said to Duan Yu, "You've always thought martial arts were for harming others, but you've never considered that martial arts can both harm and heal, depending on whether you choose good or evil. I will now teach you our sect's lightness skills; do not lightly pass them on to others. If you are not discerning, you will aid them in evil. Your Duan family's One-Finger Divine Skill and Six-Meridian Divine Sword are both unparalleled martial arts techniques, and your internal energy cultivation is also authentic. Go back and study them diligently; with your talent, you will surely progress rapidly."

After hearing Yu Xuyu's words, Duan Yu's previously cold heart warmed again. He regretted not learning martial arts from a young age; if it weren't for Yu Xuyu's rescue, he would surely have been humiliated. Seeing Yu Xuyu again, who, despite his high level of martial arts, was neither arrogant nor conceited, and whose honesty deeply moved him, he was also greatly intrigued. However, remembering that Yu Xuyu knew his background, he became curious and asked, "I've rarely traveled since I was young, how do you know my name?" Yu Xuyu thought for a moment and made up an excuse, saying, "When my master was alive, he painted portraits of important figures from various martial arts sects. Although you haven't practiced martial arts since childhood, your status is noble. Therefore, I've seen your portrait before. My master's painting, though only a few strokes, was extremely lifelike, and you're about the same age, so he could guess it at a glance." Upon hearing this

, Duan Yu suddenly realized that Yu Xuyu's understanding of him stemmed entirely from the novel *Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils*. Duan Yu, a man of strong emotions, instantly clicked with Yu Xuyu and wished to become sworn brothers with him. Yu Xuyu also had a good impression of Duan Yu; although his martial arts were somewhat lacking, he was an upright person. The two became sworn brothers in the Wuliang Cave. Yu Xuyu was older, so Duan Yu addressed him as "elder brother."

The two already held each other in high regard, and their sworn brotherhood further strengthened their bond. Yu Xuyu intended to pass on his knowledge... He possessed the Hundred Netherworld Divine Skill, but this skill was the most prized possession of the Free and Unfettered Sect, leaving him hesitant.

Finally, Yu Xuyu found a compromise: he taught Duan Yu the introductory techniques of the Hundred Netherworld Divine Skill, allowing him to absorb the internal energy of bad people to compensate for the lack of a solid foundation in his internal energy. Yu Xuyu knew that the Duan family's most powerful martial art was the Six Meridian Divine Sword, and explained to him the methods of cultivating and using it. The two talked happily, and before they knew it, it was late at night, because Yu Xuyu had to go to the Sword Lake Palace the next day to wait for Tong... The messenger sent word that Duan Yu should rest early.

Zhong Ling had only known Yu Xuyu for less than a day, but because he treated her so well and taught her unparalleled martial arts, she had unknowingly fallen for him. That night, she shared a room with Shi Qinglu. She overheard Yu Xuyu speaking a few words to Shi Qinglu at the door. Shi Qinglu returned, tidied herself, and went outside. Zhong Ling, being childlike, was curious and quietly got up, following Shi Qinglu.

Shi Qinglu had been practicing with Yu Xuyu recently... Her martial arts skills improved rapidly, progressing by leaps and bounds each day. However, Zhong Ling had just learned the Lingbo Weibu (a martial arts technique) that afternoon, and her lightness skill was improving quickly. Therefore, Shi

Qinglu didn't notice Zhong Ling following behind her. Fearing that Shi Qinglu would discover her, Zhong Ling didn't dare to get too close. Seeing Shi Qinglu enter the stone chamber where Yu Xuyu lived, she became very curious and went to the door. A strange sound came from inside, as if someone was groaning.

The door was ajar, and Zhong Ling gently pushed it open a crack. The scene before her astonished her.

Shi Qinglu straddled Yu Xuyu, completely naked, her body heaving violently, emitting moans that were hard to decipher as to whether it was pleasure or pain. Was Yu Xuyu abusing Sister Lu? It didn't seem so; his hands gently caressed Sister Lu's skin, and her face was full of smiles.

Zhong Ling felt itchy all over, and her lower body seemed a little wet. How could this be? Zhong Ling reached down and touched the massive thing; her lower body was already oozing fluid. Touching that place felt incredibly good.

"Am I a bad girl?"

Even though she thought this, Zhong Ling's fingers still reached to the softest part of her body, and she couldn't help but secretly slip her fingers inside, letting her lower body's soft lips suck on them. A bright red suddenly rose to her cheeks, and a soft moan escaped her throat. Her pink buttocks trembled lightly; she was purely a pure and playful little girl, her appearance utterly endearing. Although her face was full of spring-like desire, there was not a trace of filth in her breath.

Several candles burned in the stone chamber, making it as bright as day. The scene on the bed could be clearly seen through the crack in the door. Shi Qinglu's snow-white, translucent body was incredibly beautiful. Her well-proportioned breasts, smooth, glossy abdomen, and long, slightly bent legs covered most of her most intimate parts, but the glimpses of her petals still created a beautiful sight.

Yu Xuyu, naked, knelt before the bed, leaning over Shi Qinglu's chest, his mouth and tongue lingering between her breasts. His hands slid across her abdomen, moving downwards. Shi Qinglu's fair legs and rounded buttocks moved rhythmically, seemingly reaching the pinnacle of pleasure. Yu Xuyu grasped her legs, spreading them wide, his large member forcing its way into her already lubricated vulva. Shi Qinglu let out a heart-stirring moan, her long, slender legs wrapping around his waist in a passionate response.

Zhong Ling had already fallen for Yu Xuyu. Seeing Lu Jie making love with the man he loved filled him with a mixture of jealousy and excitement. He knew it was wrong to spy on her, but his feet wouldn't leave his side. His hands moved faster, caressing her sensitive spots, and his excitement grew.

Yu Xuyu, caught up in the moment, lifted her from the bed, hoisted her fair thighs onto his shoulders, pressed her against the wall, and thrust himself deep inside her. Shi Qinglu clung to his neck, letting out intermittent moans as she endured Yu Xuyu's fierce assault.
