Then, Zhang Shiying was accused of participating in the fight and locked in the examination room.
Feeling incredibly frustrated, Zhang Shiying decided to write down his feelings in the examination room in a diary, so he asked the guard for paper and pen.
The guard gave him an ordinary, cheap, refillable ballpoint pen that kept running out of ink.

Fear slowly crept over Zhang Shiying, making his mind go numb.
"Little Widow?" he tried calling her name, but there was no response.
He felt all his strength drain away, and his legs gave way, causing him to kneel on the ground.
He never imagined that in the end… he couldn't escape being dragged into the underworld, and that he had gone in willingly.
Zhang Shiying knelt there for an unknown amount of time until footsteps slowly approached from behind him.
He dared not turn around, only hearing the footsteps grow closer and closer with each "tap, tap."
The footsteps stopped behind him.

"Who are you!" A group of people instantly surrounded Zhang Shiying, and the person in front of him drew a sword from his waist, pointing it at him and demanding an explanation.
The sudden turn of events startled Zhang Shiying, but he quickly glanced at his surroundings.
There were seven people surrounding him, each wearing armor made of vines, some wielding spears or halberds.
Including the person pointing the sword at him, there were eight people in total.

"Go!" A female soldier uttered a deep, incomprehensible incantation. Zhang Shiying and Xiaoshuang were pulled by an unknown force, step by step, into the city, and then locked in an iron cage.
"What kind of place is this?" Zhang Shiying asked Xiaoshuang. When they entered the city, he noticed that there wasn't a single male soldier among the soldiers.
No wonder the female soldier didn't know what Zhang Shiying's crotch was!
"How would I know? We need to think of a way to escape first. It would be bad if something happened to that drill." Xiaoshuang, unlike her usual carefree attitude, said thoughtfully.
"What do you want?"
"You sign a demon contract with me," the widow said. Zhang Shiying immediately gave her the middle finger:
"You want me to sell my soul to you? Go to hell, I don't want to!"
Zhang Shiying had long seen that the widow harbored ill intentions towards him, or had ulterior motives regarding the drill, but because she had no physical form, she couldn't take it from him.

"Boom!" An explosion rang out, a flash of fire standing out starkly against the dust-filled battlefield, sending several soldiers flying.
It wasn't a cannonball, a grenade, or anything else from the boy's world—it was elemental magic, and the caster was a woman.
The boy suddenly remembered the skeletons and corpses outside the city when he first arrived.
It seemed this place had been attacked again and was embroiled in war, and the situation was dire!
The female soldiers on the city walls continuously unleashed various elemental spells, repelling the enemies outside and supporting their comrades fighting the enemy.
But against the relentless surge of enemies, this support was like a drop in the ocean. Before they could even gather enough magic to cast a second spell, many female soldiers below were already being killed by the enemy's sharp blades and spears; the female soldiers were clearly at a disadvantage.

"Am I... going to die?" the female general murmured to herself. The enemies she had just cut down rose again, spears raised, ready to deliver the fatal blow to her head.

Suddenly, the female general vanished. She disappeared
before everyone's eyes as if evaporated into thin air, her spears embedded heavily in the earth and rocks.
Without their leader, the female soldiers finally succumbed, and the city fell.
Inside the shadow realm, Zhang Shiying silently glanced at the female general in his arms, then watched as the defeated female soldiers outside the shadow realm were captured and distributed among the soldiers who had distinguished themselves in battle.
The female general's captivating face was now covered in blood, appearing very pale, and the slender dagger that had served as her hairpin was nowhere to be seen.
Her hair had come undone, and a cascade of beautiful hair flowed into the young man's arms.
Crimson blood stained her chest, and several ribs appeared to be broken. Her slender eyebrows were furrowed in pain.
Though her beautiful eyes were somewhat unfocused, they still retained a heroic spirit, determinedly focusing as she tried to see who was before her.
"Thank...thank you," she
stammered. "Don't speak." The young man pressed his index finger to her lips, signaling her to be quiet so as not to be noticed by those outside the Shadow Realm.
Looking at the captured female soldier's gaunt face, and recalling the declarations the generals had just heard regarding the treatment of prisoners, the young man sighed heavily.
War was indeed cruel.
Although his heart was chilled, the young man could only secretly hide the food, water, and medical supplies that he and the female general needed within the Shadow Realm, and then watch helplessly as the female soldier was taken away, and as the enemy looted the city's wealth and retreated.
"Think you're too weak? Then sign a contract with me!" The widow, sensing Zhang Shiying's mood, once again proposed the demonic deal.
"Fuck your teacher." Zhang Shiying, as always, retorted with the middle finger. Seeing that the enemy had gone far away, he carried the female general out of the shadow realm.
He originally wanted to search for the drill's whereabouts, but the female general's injuries were too severe, so Zhang Shiying decided to heal her first.
"Cough cough..." The female general coughed up blood while unconscious. Her ribs had pierced her lungs, making breathing difficult.
But even though she was unconscious, she still gripped the sword tightly in her hand, refusing to let go no matter how Zhang Shiying tried to move her fingers.
He had no choice but to put her down and gently pat her back to try to reduce the frequency of her coughing.
He knew, of course, that wouldn't help much, but perhaps only in this way could he feel a little better.
