It's been almost half a year since I last met with Bing'er and her husband. We had planned to get together during the summer vacation, but various reasons prevented us from doing so.
On October 1st, Bing'er's husband asked if I had any time off.
I said no, I planned to take the 3rd off.
He asked if I had time tomorrow, suggesting we get together since Bing'er was off.
I said I had time in the evening, but I had to work during the day and couldn't rest. See you tonight.
Because they don't like going to hotels, finding a place became a problem. During a previous chat, Bing'er's husband mentioned wanting to travel together for a couple of days, and they'd find a guesthouse (a whole apartment in a residential complex) to stay in, feeling it would be safe.
I suggested I look for a guesthouse in their county, in a nicer neighborhood. He felt it wasn't safe there, and worried about running into acquaintances, so he preferred going to the next county, which was only about 20 kilometers away and more convenient.
With the time and place settled, I started looking for accommodations on various platforms. Many people post these kinds of guesthouse listings on Douyin and Kuaishou these days. I finally found a guesthouse in Country Garden, a three-bedroom apartment, but I locked two bedrooms and rented out one. After paying the landlord, they sent me a check-in guide, which detailed how to get the key fob, enter the complex, and unlock the keypad. There was no direct contact with the landlord throughout the process, ensuring a high level of privacy.
After booking the room, I told Bing'er's husband about the details, and he thought it was good. We agreed to meet at 6 PM the next day.
The
next day, I left work an hour early (5 PM), as my workplace is an hour's drive from their home. Arriving too early or too late would be difficult for them to explain to their families. I
arrived at their complex at 6:10 PM and told Bing'er's husband (hereinafter referred to as "Big Brother"), who said he would come downstairs immediately.
I waited in the car. Although I've known Bing'er for many years, due to various factors, we haven't had sex very frequently, so the novelty was still there. I was still looking forward to it.
After a few minutes, I saw Bing'er and her husband walk out of the complex gate. In October in northern China, the mornings and evenings were already a bit chilly. Bing'er was wearing black stockings, a short skirt, and a light-colored shirt. She still had such a slender figure.
As we approached the car, Bing'er got into the back seat. My brother pulled open the passenger door and said to me, "I'll drive. You two can sit in the back." He preferred to watch Bing'er and me make love while he drove. Bing'er said, "Hurry up and get in, I'm hungry." I agreed, saying I'd drive. It was getting late, let's go early.
We discussed what to eat on the way. My brother suggested buying something from a restaurant to eat back at our place. Bing'er wanted hot pot. In the end, we had to listen to Bing'er.
Around 6:40, we arrived at the entrance of our apartment complex. We parked the car on the side of the road. I asked if we should go upstairs to check out the apartment first, or go eat first. My brother suggested we eat nearby. Bing'er found a chain hot pot restaurant called Ba Fu Hot Pot online. It wasn't far from the complex. Bing'er pointed to a brightly lit building ahead and said, "It's over there. Let's drop off the car and walk." She was feeling a bit carsick.
When we arrived at the restaurant, it was packed with people eating and queuing. We asked the front desk, and they said there were still 17 tables waiting, and it was uncertain when we'd get a table. The three of us observed for a while and decided to eat something else.
On the way back, we looked around, but nothing appealed to us. Near our apartment complex, there were no more restaurants ahead, so we decided to order some dishes at this (a decent-looking restaurant) to take back home. This time, Bing'er agreed.
Entering the restaurant, it was quite crowded. The waiter said they had banquet bookings today, and although it looked busy, everyone was almost finished eating, and the food came out quickly. Bing'er ordered a few dishes, and after about twenty minutes, the food was packed up. We then went to the supermarket near the complex entrance and bought a case of canned Laoshan liquor. My brother wanted some baijiu (Chinese liquor), but I don't drink, so he bought a half-jin (250ml) can. We also bought some snacks, so we had everything we needed.
Following the landlord's check-in guide, we found the keychain in a hidden corner of the complex entrance, and successfully entered. The elevator required a card to access our floor, so the security was excellent.
Upon entering the room, the house was cozy, with two living rooms and three bedrooms. Only the master bedroom door was open; the other two were locked. The landlord said one room was used to store bedding and cleaning supplies. The other room could be opened for an extra 10 yuan. Bing'er and her brother were very satisfied with the house.
