What should men pay attention to during sex?

    page views:1  Publication date:2023-04-11
There are many misunderstandings about "sexual techniques" in society today: some people take the theories of "one drop of semen is worth ten drops of blood" and "exhaustion of semen and marrow" as principles of sexual life, and even believe that dog penis and tiger penis can enhance male virility; others regard them as heresy and completely disregard traditional concepts of sexual health.
The author believes that adhering to sexual techniques is obviously ridiculous, but it is also wrong to completely reject them. Sexual techniques are a serious topic related to health and longevity, and there is still much for modern people to learn:
advocating male abstinence
for thousands of years, as a branch of traditional Chinese medicine, the most distinctive feature of sexual techniques is that medical practitioners, through observation of the phenomenon of "excessive indulgence harming the body," proposed the idea of "abstinence for health," that is, advocating that while enjoying sexual pleasure, both sexes should also moderate their sexual activity to balance health and longevity. For men, this view of "abstinence" is even more prominent.
Advocating male abstinence has two meanings: First, it acknowledges that sexual activity is an important part of marital relations, but it should
be "enjoyed but moderate," meaning that male-female sexual intercourse should conform to the natural laws of Yin and Yang, but frequency should be limited for health and longevity. The second meaning refers to controlling the amount of ejaculation during intercourse, even to the point of suppressing ejaculation, which led to the saying "one drop of semen is worth ten drops of blood." It's important to emphasize that this saying is incorrect. Intercourse is primarily a physical activity, resulting in the loss of small amounts of protein, sugar, and water. As long as the frequency is maintained, it doesn't necessarily harm health. Excessively pursuing the suppression of ejaculation can actually cause congestion in the male urethra and bladder, leading to frequent urination after intercourse, and can also create psychological burdens for men, affecting their normal libido.
Regarding female sexual satisfaction
, ancient sexual techniques emphasized the female experience, believing that only when the woman achieves orgasm is it beneficial for both partners, especially the man. Therefore, most sexual techniques in these techniques are designed to stimulate female pleasure.
Specifically, the most important aspect of traditional Chinese sexual techniques is the importance of foreplay to arouse the woman; the duration of intercourse should be moderate, and it must continue until the woman reaches orgasm. This theory aligns with modern sexology's emphasis on sufficient foreplay and controlled intercourse time.
Furthermore, many traditional Chinese sexual techniques emphasize the "nine shallow, one deep" technique, meaning the penis should not penetrate too deeply into the vagina, and thrusting should be slow and even, believed to increase pleasure for both partners and avoid damaging blood vessels. This theory is similar to the modern sexology theory of the female G-spot and erogenous zones, which states that only the outer third of the vagina contains tactile nerve endings; effective stimulation of this area can maximize female sexual pleasure.
Seven abnormalities men should be aware of:
Ancient Chinese sexual techniques mention many taboos regarding sexual activity. The general principle is that neither men nor women should engage in sexual activity in adverse weather, environments, or emotional states. This approach aligns with sexual health and hygiene, not only enhancing the quality of sex but also contributing to healthy reproduction for couples.
In terms of details, the "Fangzhongshu" (a traditional Chinese medical text) focuses more on men, offering seven reminders that are consistent with modern medicine: 1. Inability to ejaculate during intercourse or severe penile pain are abnormal reactions, and intercourse should be avoided in such cases; 2. Excessive seminal emission during intercourse is also abnormal and requires medical attention; 3. Unrestrained sexual activity leading to depletion of vital energy is very harmful to health; 4. Inability to achieve an erection during intercourse indicates a problem with the body, requiring careful recuperation; 5. Rapid breathing and mental confusion during intercourse require stopping and calming the mind; 6. Forcing intercourse when there is no desire is also detrimental to men's health; 7. Men also need appropriate sexual arousal during intercourse; rushing straight to the point is very detrimental to their health. To enhance the health of both sexes, the "Fangzhongshu" also
advocates
regular sexual health exercises. For example, the ancient medical book *Tianxia Zhidao Tan* (Discourse on the Supreme Way of the World), unearthed in Mawangdui, Changsha, Hunan in 1973, mentions that every morning after waking up, one should sit upright on the bed, straighten the back, relax the buttocks, and perform exercises to contract the anus.
During intercourse, the man should wait until the penis is fully erect before engaging in intercourse, and the movements should be as gentle as possible, relaxing the back and contracting the anus. During ejaculation, the back should be bent, the limbs should remain still, and a deep breath should be taken while calmly waiting for a period of time before ejaculation.
After intercourse, any remaining semen should be expelled, and the penis should be withdrawn before becoming flaccid, and the genitals should be washed after intercourse.
