In the final chapter
, the man in the white straitjacket and the man in the suit finished their conversation and were then dragged back to their cell by two burly men. One day, two days, three days passed, and Tom grew increasingly impatient. He believed the man in the suit and confessed everything, but the man didn't keep his promise.

A week later, Tom's patience reached its limit. He first banged his head against the wall, then spent the entire night yelling: "I want to see that man again!" This attracted a burly man who forced him to take sleeping pills to quiet him down. The next day, Tom had a splitting headache and couldn't get out of bed all day.

Two weeks later, he calmed down and realized he had been fooled by the man in the suit. Two days later, the door opened, and three people walked in. The dull little room suddenly brightened.

"Long time no see, John... or must it be Tom?" Elisa said. Just like when she woke up in her bed on the spaceship, Shirley and Aoba stood on either side of her.

"I never imagined it was you who controlled his mind..."

"I didn't do that." Tom lowered his head, avoiding Alyssa's gaze.

"If you hadn't completely eliminated Jack back then, we would all have been killed by him on the lifeboat!"

"That guy was too stupid! If he had restrained himself a bit, perhaps he could have hidden in this mind." Tom tapped his temple with his index finger.

Alyssa shook her head and said, "Only the strongest personality can quietly hide itself. At that time, the only one who could control Jack's personality was the last person—that is, you..."

Tom remained noncommittal about Alyssa's words.

Shirley said to Tom, "Why didn't Jack escape into the doctor's mind? It's incredible... You could eliminate Jack, couldn't you? Adams back then... Thank you for saving me."

Tom nervously bit his finger.

Alyssa said, "Before I fainted, it was you who kissed me, wasn't it? For a moment, I thought he had regained his memory. But now I know: it was you..."

Tom became increasingly uneasy. Aoba sat down beside him.

"We hope you can return him to us. If you continue treatment, you might be eliminated. We don't want that to happen... Do you understand?"

Tom nodded.

"Actually, I didn't plan to stay. It's just that after this doctor started dating you beautiful women, I started spying on you doing things in bed. Then, I don't know when it started, a lot of guys appeared around me, and it became like this..."

The three listened quietly to his words.

"A voyeur is just a coward who doesn't dare to do anything... I wanted to stop Jack back then, but I didn't do anything... I only dared to show my face when that guy wasn't paying attention." Tom smiled bitterly and looked up at Alyssa.

Alyssa smiled back at him and slowly shook her head, saying, "But we're only alive now because of you!"

Tom then looked at the three around him with relief.

"Of all the people I've spied on, you're the best!"

Alyssa, Sherry, and Aoba looked at each other, their faces flushed. They were all incredibly embarrassed, recalling what had happened on the spaceship.

Tom said, "I'll just rest in this guy's head for now! And I promise I won't reappear."

"Really?" Alyssa asked.

"Yeah, your naked bodies are vividly etched in my memory. I'll just play with what happened alone! I don't want to see what I saw in this guy's head again... Maybe I'll see what he dreams about: having sex with you, is that okay?"

"We'll do a thorough cure when we confirm!"

"Do whatever you want..." Tom pushed Aoba away from the bed and lay down.

"I...I'm...so...tired...I'll give this man...back to you..." He finished speaking and let out a steady sigh.

Alyssa, Sherry, and Aoba sat in the room, waiting for him to wake up. Hours later, John woke up groaning, blinking rapidly. The three women came to his bedside. John looked at them in surprise, their expressions tense.

"What's wrong? Why are you all here? Did I do something?"

"No... John, it's all over," Alyssa said. Sherry and Aoba both breathed a sigh of relief.

John was puzzled by the unfamiliar room. He looked around; sunlight streamed in through the iron-barred windows.

"This... could this be..."

"Yes, everyone's back on Earth. After your illness was cured..."

"'Cureed'? What does that mean?"

"You defeated 'Persona'!"

But hearing Alyssa's words, John frowned, lost in thought.

He asked Alyssa anxiously, "But... I still can't remember anything..."

"There are still many aspects of memory loss that medicine doesn't understand. There's no definitive treatment... Perhaps, with time, your memory will slowly return!"

"Really... I thought I could remember everything..." John muttered dejectedly.

But Shirley immediately encouraged him, saying, "I'll help you, try to talk to me!"

Seeing that John's spirits had recovered, Alyssa said, "Let's go! Staying in this cramped ward will only make even a curable illness worse!"

Alyssa took John's arm. John got out of bed and left the ward surrounded by the three. Outside the ward stood a giant man, like a wrestler, glaring at John, seemingly wanting to subdue him at any moment.

Alyssa walked ahead, with Shirley and Aoba on either side. Along the way, a mental patient was seen wiping non-existent stains on the wall with a rag. Imagine himself becoming like that... John looked away. Suddenly, he burst into laughter. The three around him tensed up, and the giant leaped forward, trying to subdue John.

Alyssa shouted to stop the giant, "Stop!"

Everyone—Alyssa, Sherry, Aoba, and the giant—stared blankly at John's strange behavior. John laughed wildly, clutching his stomach and bending over, even laughing until tears streamed down his face.

Alyssa asked worriedly, "John, what's wrong?"

John took a few deep breaths to calm himself down and replied, "I remember now, my real name... isn't John... it's Jer."

The three of them surrounded Jer, looking at each other's faces with joyful smiles.

Sherry laughed and said, "From today onwards, we're rivals again!"

"I won't lose to you!"

"Me too!" Aoba and Alyssa answered Sherry loudly.
