It was another lazy afternoon. The sun was blazing outside, and even from inside the room, I could feel the intense heat. Looking out, I could see Li Dabao still planting rice seedlings in the fields. His healthy, sun-tanned bronze skin was a pleasant and pleasing sight. He truly was a hardworking and honest man.

He even carefully puts my clothes aside to wash. I walked slowly under the scorching sun to the field where he was working. 他越说越离谱，周围的三姑六婆脑子里不知道想成什么样了，好像真的是那么一回事。
到最后甚至讨论起他家什么时候会办喜事，把都市大美女娶回家，喜宴要办几桌……真是无言至极。
我看他那连不常露面的妈妈都主动跑来猛追问不休，走在路上左邻右舍的关切，连小旅社那只关注小说的堂妹都在调侃他……早知道，这小镇上，像他这样的卑微小人物是完全没有申诉权，王婆婆比法律还强势，被她撞见等于被这附近的所有邻居们捉奸在床！
最近，我的耳朵不太清闲，田埂旁的‘激情抱走’事情，我没想到会引起这么大的余波效应。
在这里住了这一段时间，多少也了解这地方人们热情爽朗的性子，不过有时候太热情也不是件好事，李大哥近来的日子应该非常不好过吧！我倒是还好，除了和隔壁的小妹外，和谁都不熟，村民也不会来缠我说长道短，最多就是隔壁的小妹频繁的和我‘联络感情’，看来她也是被众人公推出来，肩负大任啊。
我以为，在这种情况下，李大哥应该会避个嫌什么的，可是他每天照常的给我送三餐，给我洗衣服。每过几天，会提醒我出去随便走动走动。
甚至还带我去他说这里有个祖传医馆的赵太爷，治头痛很厉害，赵太爷给我开了很多中药，我一闻到这些中药我就想吐，可他却每次都逼着我喝下，说这是为我好，不然我就这样常常头痛下去，而且我现在吃的西药效果也不明显。
一再问清这中药对我腹中的宝宝没影响，我才战战兢兢每天痛苦的喝下那快要我命的难闻中药。
这几天，小妹总是谈他，说大宝哥怎样怎样，他有多孝顺，多上进，多忠厚老实，多值得托付终身……这，呵呵简直就是强迫推销了。
我只是默默听着，没插嘴也没反驳。
“姐姐，你到底对我们大宝哥印象怎么样捏？”
我想，这句话才是你讲了半天废话的重点吧，只是不晓得是被多少人逼着来问的。
“还好。”
我淡应，没让小妹太难堪，一般来说，面对响应不太热络的对象，这样的回答就够对方明白，并不用直截了当的泼对方冷水。但是！
我忽略了乡下人环境单纯，是不会懂那些客套与官腔的，她会直接在心里演绎成：还好就是不错，不错就是有希望！连带的，分析出结果就是：大城市的大小姐对大宝哥也是有好感的。
“对捏，我就说！姐姐你一定是也喜欢大宝哥的捏，不然怎么会让大宝哥抱你……”……这是哪里来的结论？
一开始，只是小妹在我耳边歌功颂德某人的历史，到后来开始有三姑六婆在我眼前晃，不过就那几个，其中据说还有事件男主角的母亲，看媳妇来了！
一直以来，我都只是聆听，没表达过任何意见，事实上，我也不认为有需要表达什么意见，可是现在……我叹了口气，感觉有些困扰了。
我不打断小妹的自得其乐是一回事，被人当成未过门媳妇来打量又是另一回事了，不反驳不代表默认，但是这些人好像没搞清楚状况。
“那个！”
某大妈又送来李子，说是自家种的很甜，顺便与我攀谈，用极生硬的半普通话半方言问：“那你听不听得懂我们的地方话捏？”
“抱歉，不太懂。”
我回个歉意的微笑。
“哎哟，捏咋办……”
某大妈颇烦恼，估计她在想，我要是嫁进来要怎么沟通才好……
对了，据说这大妈好像是男主角的母亲，我……是不是该礼貌的问下：“您？有什么事吗？”
“那个捏……我是捏个…大宝他妈捏，就是听说你和我家大宝互相喜欢捏，啊我就想问下，来看下你捏，虽然你们是认得不是蛮久捏，但是捏个缘分捏种东西，捏个拦门说捏……”
我听的很痛苦，我想这大宝他妈说得更痛苦。
“什么是捏个拦门说？”我镇定且礼貌的发问。
“完哒，连捏个拦门说都听不懂……”
这以后是要怎么相处啊，我想他妈肯定会这样想。我看大妈抓抓头皮，好困扰的想着要怎么解释：“就是，就是捏个捏个……哎哟拦门说捏……”
“就是怎么说的意思。”
男子由外面走来，沉稳的走向我们：“妈，你来捏接搞什么捏？”
“哎呀，我捏不是想帮你问问捏。”
妈妈反驳。
男子叹了口气“她是我的房客，我们没什么捏。”
“哎呀，可是捏……”
她妈妈还想上诉。
“我待会跟你讲，现在要带她去赵太爷那里。”
不给母亲上诉的时间，扶上我起身走人。
哎~~~又要去赵太爷那里看头痛病，我都想说看了也是白看，根本就没什么效果的，可一想到呆在这群三姑六婆的周围，还是乖乖的跟着他去赵太爷那里看病好了。
静静的走了一段路，他先开口：“对不起，请别与他们计较，小镇生活太单调，难免找些话题……”
我偏头瞧了他一眼，其实，最困扰的应该是他吧！
这些人与我无关，我可以毫不在意，最多当没听到，他却不行，一个个都是他的长辈，一个个都是出于关爱他的出发点，他解释不清也得一个个解释，不能翻脸也不能转身走人，我想，他才是最头痛的那个人。可是，他却向我道歉，向一个不痛不痒的外来客道歉。
“没关系。”
我只能这么说，淡淡的回应。
“下次我妈再去的话，你打个电话给我，我来处理。”
电话？至于这么夸张么？
“嗯。”
我不置可否的应了声，气氛再度陷入沉寂。
他的话本来就不多，我也不知道讲什么好。这条共同走过几回的小路，大部分时候都是两方沉默，就连他的名字—李大宝，我都是从隔壁的大叔和小妹他们那知道的。
来到世代行医的赵太爷医馆里，我心里小小的笑了下，我一直都不相信什么祖传配方，我就觉得什么世代行医，祖传医术都是那些赤脚大仙的瑑头。可在这里我却不能也不敢反驳，毕竟这是人家的地盘，而李大哥带我来这里也是为了我好，我还是配合着死马当作活马医吧。
把脉，这个词我好久都没听过了，那赵太爷每次都会给我把脉：“你呀，失眠，压力大，睡眠质量一定很差吧？”
赵太爷怎么会知道，不过我还是如实的回答：“……对。”
陪我来的李大哥，总是安安静静的在一旁等待，偶尔赵太爷会与他聊几句家常。
“你工作压力很大吗？作息要正常一点，你荷尔蒙失调，现在怀孕了，更要注意调理！大宝也要好好照顾啊”他说到最后一句，我本能的瞥向杵在一旁的男子，他神色微囧，识相的避开，到屋外等候。
赵太爷满含深意的笑了笑：“我听说了捏，你们最近在一起很近捏。”
“赵太爷也听这种小道八卦？”我解释到。
“人生苦短，总要自己找些乐子，听听何妨！”
赵太爷熟练的抓着几味中药，挨个称重量“我活了大半辈子了，看过的人或事物总是比你们年轻人多。很多人一生都在自我要求，求最好的表现，求最高的成就，求最完美的爱情，把自己绷得那么紧，到头来你又得到了什么？或许你有没有想过，你真正想要的是什么？很多女人追求了一生，到头来才发现，她要的也仅仅只是个稳定而已。”
“稳定吗？”
这两个字看起来简单，追求起来却好难。
“你别看大宝现在这个样子，其实他小时候又瘦又弱，不说话也不理人，街坊邻居都以为他有自闭症。”
赵太爷话题一转，什么时候跳到这里来了，李大哥小时候是这样?我有些怀疑！
“但是他重新找到生活的重心和目标，你不认为他也是认真过生活的人吗？”
“嗯，他是。”

The man walked in, and as was his habit, he reached out to help me up so I could thank Master Zhao.
On the way back, both sides remained silent until suddenly a mischievous child on a bicycle came rushing out from around the corner. I quickly stepped back, and he swiftly stretched out his arm to shield me on the inside of the road.
Noticing that his arm was still around my shoulder, I took a step back, subtly avoiding him.
After walking in silence for a while, I broke the silence: "I won't be staying here for long."
I don't really think there's anything between us, but I feel I need to make things clear anyway. Basically, apart from those few daily interactions, we don't have any other interactions. I haven't even spoken as much to him as the girl next door.
I don't want any ambiguity that could cause others to speculate. Right now, the last thing I want to get involved in is emotional entanglements.
He was taken aback at first, then he realized the meaning of my words: "I apologize to you again on their behalf."
"I did not mean that……"
I quickly explained that I thought he had misunderstood.
"I know."
He paused for a few seconds: "But I'm still sorry for causing you trouble."
I stopped myself from explaining and said instead, "I'll be leaving in a few days."
He nodded slightly, but did not respond.
