The authors of the Yuefu poems from the Northern and Southern Dynasties are unknown.

Last night, while browsing through the poetry of the Han, Wei, and Six Dynasties at home, I inadvertently discovered several excellent poems in the Yuefu poems of the Northern and Southern Dynasties, vividly depicting the love between men and women. I've copied them down below:

* **Ancient Yuefu Poems:** "

I entrust you to buy a Wu silk ribbon; why ask its length?
You're used to holding me; I'll consider its size carefully.

" * **Song of the Jade:** "

When the jade maiden was born, my lover was infatuated. Touched by your kindness ,
I turned and embraced you. " *

**Song of Midnight:** "

I didn't comb my hair last night; my silken hair draped over my shoulders.
I nestled on your lap; how could I not be pitied?"

* **Song of the Four Seasons at Midnight:** "

I open the window to the autumn moonlight; I extinguish the candle and
loosen my silk skirt. Smiling within the curtains, my whole body exudes the fragrance of orchids."
