The complete novel, *The Heart of a Mother*, chapters 1-22, is already the final chapter. The author doesn't seem to intend to continue writing, and the ending feels somewhat rushed.

However, the author has kept their promise; this book is not abandoned.

I remember the author started writing in June 2017 and only finished in October 2019, a total of 22 chapters, taking over two years to complete, resulting in the classic *The Heart of a Mother*.

In my opinion, the most successful mother-son stories so far are *The Breakthrough of the Mother and Son After the New Year* by Dugu Yiye and *The Heart of a Mother* by Brown Sorrow.

However, the author wrote a side story for *The Breakthrough of the Mother and Son After the New Year*.

A side story for *The Heart of a Mother* is unlikely, as the author Brown has mentioned.

Many well-written mother-son stories have stopped updating for a long time and are very likely to be abandoned; those who persevere are rare and deserve praise.

I hope *Notgay's Mistake Will Not Be Abandoned* won't be abandoned, and I look forward to chapter 12 coming out soon.
