[The whole world is a harem] (Volume 3, Chapter 1, Section 02)

Chapter 1 Primordial Chaos, Section 2: Cultivation of All Things, The Dao of the Primordial World. On the primordial continent, a cultivator
walked from east to west. Upon closer inspection, that person was me.
After leaving the East Sea, I traveled westward, looting every place I passed through
.
The reason? For research and for future use by outer disciples.
In those places, the earliest living beings had already appeared. Stones, plants, streams, and spirit beasts
had all begun to gestate.
The most powerful were the Black Tortoise, Phoenix, White Tiger, Dragon, and Qilin. Although
they were very weak compared to Qi Se and the others I met in the chaos, they were already extremely powerful among the innate spirit beasts of the primordial world. This was
because most cultivators at this time were still in the Spiritual Nirvana stage, while the five innate races already had cultivators who had reached the Nascent Soul stage
.
Of course, there are some special cases. For example, Yangmei, one of the innate chaotic demon gods, was originally a
willow tree transformed from chaos. He was nearly shattered by Pangu's creation of the world, but after the creation of the primordial world, he fell into it and
regained his strength. Now he has reached the mid-stage of the Golden Immortal realm. Another special figure is Hongjun
, who later merged with the Heavenly Dao. Hongjun was originally a curved eel transformed from chaos. During Pangu's creation of the world, he was mercilessly protected by the Heavenly Dao
and thus did not die. After Pangu transformed into the primordial world, Hongjun obtained the Creation Jade Butterfly that Pangu had shattered.
He is currently studying the Creation Jade Butterfly in a celestial abode in the primordial world, and his strength has reached the early stage of the Great Luo Golden Immortal realm.
Where there are people, there is struggle; this should be changed to "Where there are living beings, there is struggle."
Although all living beings cultivate, the lack of cultivation methods and directions makes cultivation extremely difficult
.
Wandering across the primordial continent, he stopped when he felt he had traveled enough.
With a thought, I realized this place was the primordial western continent. Bored, I swept across the
entire western continent, not even missing a small pebble, before instantly leaving. At this moment, a Bodhi tree and a primordial
wood spirit root huddled together, trembling.
This journey had taken tens of thousands of years, and more than a year had passed on Penglai Island. Upon returning to Penglai Island, I immediately
dragged my now-lost sisters to bed for a passionate encounter before observing the changes on Penglai Island.
In this year, my mother and the others had planted flowers, trees, and shrubs all over Penglai Island, crisscrossing streams, waterfalls,
hot springs, and everything else imaginable. Profound spirit roots, primordial spirit roots, chaotic medicinal herbs, chaotic spirit roots, and even the worst ones
were all primordial spirit roots. Primordial treasure sets and primordial spirit treasure sets were everywhere, all of them
failed attempts at refining chaotic treasures. Therefore, Penglai Island truly lived up to the name "fairyland."
After dealing with the matters of Penglai Island, I began to recount my travels and experiences to them,
inputting everything into their minds and
preserving my experiences using the Xuanxu Light Brain (whose computing speed exceeds the power of infinite positive load).
When they learned of what I had done in the West, they all laughed and scolded me for being "three feet above the heavens."
Because the development of the Primordial World was too slow, I decided to improve its overall strength. So I stepped out of the
great formation of Penglai Island, stood in the void, calmed my mind, and controlled my power to a
level sufficient to spread throughout the entire Primordial World without harming anyone.
"I am the Supreme Primordial Traveler—the Ancient Moon Immortal. I see that you, the beings of the Primordial World, still lack a systematic cultivation
method for survival. I cannot bear it. Ten thousand years from now, I will preach outside Penglai Island in the East Sea. All beings of the Primordial World are welcome to come and
listen..."
As my voice spread across the Primordial World, all the beings of the Primordial World were in an uproar.
Who wouldn't want a systematic cultivation method? Even a bad one is much better than messing around on their own.
Thus, the entire prehistoric world was abuzz with discussion about who the Ancient Moon Immortal was and what his purpose was. After all, those who possessed cultivation techniques
would secretly cultivate them in seclusion at this time, and no one would ever reveal them publicly. At this moment, the Great Dao, my
little brother, also knew what I was doing. Responding to my words, the sky over the area spanning hundreds of billions of kilometers around Penglai Island blazed
with magnificent light. I released a wisp of my aura, and all the living beings in the prehistoric world involuntarily prostrated themselves
on the ground towards Penglai Island in the East Sea, trembling with fear.
"Who is this person with such a powerful aura?" Yang Mei, prostrate on the ground, thought.
"Is this the person the Heavenly Dao told me about? Such a powerful aura! No wonder the Heavenly Dao calls
him 'Great One.' I'm afraid even the Heavenly Dao can't compare to one ten-thousandth of him," Hongjun thought to himself, still prostrate on the ground.
After withdrawing my oppressive aura, I returned to Penglai Island, and the magnificent light in the sky slowly dissipated.
The "100,000 Whys" appeared in the minds of all living beings in the primordial world, but all the cultivators decided to
personally travel to the East Sea to hear my sermon. Judging from my ability to project my voice throughout the universe, coupled with my final imposing aura, they knew I
was undoubtedly a great being. As for the extent of my power, that was beyond their comprehension. Nevertheless, this
was still an opportunity, and all the cultivators, after considering this, rallied their friends and set off for the East Sea.
The various plant spirits and numerous intelligent but unformed spirit beasts in the lower layers of the primordial world were even more
excited. Those plant spirits and spirit beasts that had successfully awakened their intelligence and were able to travel to the East Sea
rushed there at top speed.
Because this was the first time since the beginning of the primordial world that someone had given a sermon, coupled with the imposing aura and the magnificent radiance,
every intelligent being was unwilling to miss this opportunity. Except for a very few beings who refused to come, almost
all the living beings of the primordial world headed towards the East Sea.
The primordial beings are scattered throughout the entire primordial world, numbering at least tens of trillions, and this number is
constantly increasing daily. One can imagine the sheer number of beings who have come to listen to the Dao!
"Ten thousand immortals have come to pay homage! Hahahaha, from now on I'm probably the teacher of the entire primordial world..." I laughed wildly,
and began my conquest of the women within the Xinyu Palace. (The time ratio when the protagonist leaves Penglai Island is
: 1 year on the island : 100,000 years outside the island; when on the island: 1 year on the island : 10 years outside the island; 1 year on Penglai Island : 1 year in Xinyu Palace)
Ten thousand years outside the island passed quickly. Before leaving the island, I expanded my divine sense and detected
nearly ten billion cultivators densely packed within a radius of hundreds of billions of kilometers. My heart was filled with immense excitement. Although I had lived for three cosmic eras, my previous habits
were long gone, and I had always cultivated alone, without even a disciple. Calming down...
After calming down, I contacted my younger brother, Da Dao. "Da Dao, make sure I make a grand entrance when I go out later... understand
?" I spoke to Da Dao with my divine sense.
"Yes, boss, I will definitely make you make a grand entrance," Da Dao said excitedly.
"The time for ten thousand years has come," a voice rang out in the sky. As the voice faded,
a strange fragrance wafted from Penglai Island, intoxicating all who heard it. The sky was filled with radiant light, which rapidly spread outward from Penglai Island. Space
began to fluctuate, and a golden lotus descended from the sky above Penglai Island. The golden light of merit below the lotus formed a sphere of light outside Penglai Island,
causing those outside the island to automatically retreat from the range of the golden light. The dazzling light attracted
the attention of all living beings on the primordial continent. I summoned the 108th grade Primordial Purple Lotus and sat cross-legged, with the 72nd grade Golden Lotus of Merit above my head
(a gift for Da Dao, to facilitate his descent of the golden light of merit, a supreme treasure of primordial merit from the Chaos).
As everyone gradually quieted down, the golden light of public virtue slowly faded, and my figure appeared before everyone's eyes
, with a phantom image of me also appearing in the sky.
"I am the Supreme Primordial Traveler—the Ancient Moon Immortal, who has been expounding on the myriad Daos here for seventy thousand years," I
said with a warm smile. This made everyone feel incredibly comfortable. Suddenly, I changed the subject, "However, if anyone
dares to disrupt my sermon, I will surely annihilate their soul and spirit!" After saying this, everyone felt
a chill run down their spines from the sheer force of my aura, feeling as if they were about to faint. Confirming that the intimidation had worked, they withdrew their aura
and began to expound on the Dao.
"The Tao that can be spoken of is not the eternal Tao. The name that can be named is not the eternal name. Nameless, it is the origin of Heaven and Earth; named, it
is the mother of all things. Therefore, one should always be without desire, so as to observe its subtlety; one should always have desire, so as to observe its manifestations. These two are the same in origin but different in name;
they are both called profound. Profound and yet more profound, the gateway to all mysteries.
When everyone in the world knows beauty as beauty, ugliness is already present. When everyone knows goodness as goodness, evil is already present. Therefore, existence and non-existence give rise to each other; difficulty and ease
complement each other; long and short compare with each other; high and low incline towards each other; sound and silence harmonize with each other; before and after follow each other. Therefore, the sage acts without acting and
teaches without speaking; all things arise but he does not initiate them, they are born but he does not let them pass away." Yes, one acts without relying on one's own abilities, and achieves success without
claiming credit. It is precisely because one does not claim credit that one's achievements remain.
One does not exalt the worthy, so that the people will not contend; one does not value rare goods, so that the people will not steal; one does not display what is desirable,
so that the people's hearts will not be disturbed. Therefore, the sage governs by emptying their minds, filling their bellies, weakening their ambitions, and strengthening their bones. He constantly keeps the people without knowledge and without
desire, so that even the wise dare not act. By acting without acting, nothing is left ungoverned.
The Way is empty, yet its use is inexhaustible; deep and unfathomable, it seems to be the origin of all things; it blunts their sharpness, untangles their knots, softens their light, and mingles with their
dust; it is still and profound, seemingly ever-present. I do not know whose offspring it is; it seems to have preceded even the Emperor.
Heaven and Earth are not benevolent, treating all things like straw dogs; the sage is not benevolent, treating the people like straw dogs. Between Heaven and Earth,
is it not like a bellows? Empty yet inexhaustible, moving yet ever-producing. Too much talk leads to exhaustion; better to remain centered.
The spirit of the valley never dies; it is called the mysterious female. The gate of the mysterious female is called the root of heaven and earth. It exists continuously, its use
is inexhaustible.
Heaven and earth are long-lasting. The reason heaven and earth can be long-lasting is that they do not live for themselves; therefore, they can live long. Therefore, the sage puts himself last, yet he
comes first; he puts himself outside, yet he survives. Is it not because he is selfless that he can achieve his own ends? The
highest good is like water. Water benefits all things without striving, dwelling in places that others disdain; therefore, it is close to the Way. It dwells in good places,
its heart is like a deep pool, it is benevolent in its interactions, trustworthy in its words, effective in its governance, capable in its actions, and timely in its movements. Because it does not strive, it is without fault.
Holding onto something until it overflows is not as good as stopping; sharpening something to its finest point cannot be maintained for long. A house full of gold and jade cannot
be guarded; pride in wealth and honor invites disaster. To retire after achieving success is the way of Heaven.
Can you, by embracing oneness with your spirit, remain undivided? Can you, by cultivating your vital energy and achieving gentleness, become like an infant? Can you, by cleansing your inner vision
, be without blemish? Can you, in loving the people and governing the state, act without striving? Can you, in the opening and closing of the gates of heaven, act like the female? Can you, with clear understanding reaching all directions,
remain without knowledge? To give birth and nurture. To give birth without possessing, to act without relying on one
's own power, to nurture without dominating—this is called profound virtue. Thirty spokes share one hub; it is
the emptiness within that makes the cart useful. Clay is molded into a vessel; it is the emptiness within that makes the vessel useful. Doors and windows are cut out to make a room; it is the emptiness within that makes the room useful. Therefore, what exists is for advantage, and what does not exist
is for use.
The five colors blind the eye, the five sounds deafen the ear, the five flavors dull the palate, galloping and hunting drive
the mind mad, and rare goods lead to wrongdoing. Therefore, the sage focuses on the inner self, not the outward appearance; thus, he discards the latter and chooses the former. Favor and disgrace are both alarming; great calamities are valued as one's own body. What does it
mean to be alarmed by favor and disgrace? Favor is inferior; gaining it is alarming, losing it is alarming—this is what it means to be alarmed by favor and disgrace. What does it mean to value great calamities as one's own body? The reason I have great calamities is because I have a body; if I had no body, what calamities would I have? Therefore, valuing one's body for the sake of the world is like entrusting the world to oneself; loving one's body for the sake of the world is like entrusting the world to oneself…” My sermon focused on the survival and transformation of living beings, far more profound than the transformation methods that the cultivators had figured out themselves . Most of what I discussed in this sermon concerned attaining enlightenment before transformation. Suddenly, heavenly flowers rained down, golden lotuses sprang from the earth, countless celestial sounds appeared out of thin air , and countless auspicious clouds formed countless auspicious beasts that swirled around me. A misty aura surrounded me, and countless celestial spirits, accompanied by starlight, poured down from the heavens. Above my head appeared auspicious clouds, three flowers gathered at the crown, five elements converged, and auspicious clouds covered my head. My body appeared and disappeared amidst various mysterious phenomena, a truly magnificent scene of immortal prosperity. When I preached, I used my magical powers, employing supreme supernatural abilities to expound the Dao. This enabled all living beings to hear me, which made them extremely grateful to me. They deeply remembered this gratitude in their hearts, daring not to forget it, so that future generations would know how their ancestors listened to the Great Dao and created legends. My desire to become the foremost teacher of the primordial world led to my being revered by all living beings, who worshipped me as their benefactor and immortal master, placing a memorial tablet in my honor for future generations to worship daily. This also ensured that my name, the Ancient Moon Immortal, spread far and wide, becoming a source of pride and admiration for posterity… Because all living beings throughout the primordial world could clearly hear the myriad principles I spoke of, a strange tranquility descended upon the turbulent continent. No cultivator wanted to miss the opportunity to hear my teachings, and thus, without prior agreement, they all set aside their conflicts to listen to the profound mysteries of my Dao. Before me, the profound Dao sounds uttered from my mouth condensed into Dao runes that hung in the void, transforming into the ultimate truths of the Dao, for cultivators from all directions to comprehend. At this moment, I was speaking of the simple ways of all living beings to absorb and exhale spiritual energy, and the ways of survival, transformation, and cultivation.

Therefore, as I preached, the cultivators of the primordial world began to cultivate according to the Dao of Absorption and Transformation,
transforming themselves into countless vortexes of varying sizes. These vortexes absorbed innate spiritual energy
, flowing towards the cultivators who were listening and cultivating, where it was absorbed into their bodies and refined into their own magical power.
Among the many beings in the primordial world listening to the Dao, some were deeply fortunate, but most had shallow roots,
so they all strived to improve their cultivation level and Dao attainment. Those with exceptional talent absorbed spiritual energy
at a terrifying speed, and their cultivation increased rapidly. Fortunately, I knew beforehand that the cultivators of the primordial world
would experience rapid cultivation increases after hearing my explanation of the Great Dao, and conversely, the spiritual energy they needed would be immense.
The various mysterious phenomena surrounding me during my sermon indicated that the myriad Daos I was expounding were indeed profoundly deep. Amidst
these extraordinary phenomena, golden lotuses descended from the sky, absorbed and refined by the primordial cultivators. This was the Great Dao, in cooperation with
me, using its great divine power to condense these lotuses to prevent insufficient spiritual energy, providing them for the cultivators' cultivation. Therefore, the
cultivators listening to the Dao did not fret or make a fool of themselves due to the scarcity of spiritual energy.
All the cultivators were intelligent, and the myriad principles I explained were close to life
, making them relatively easy to understand. The cultivators listened with rapt attention, sometimes scratching
their heads in frustration when they encountered something they didn't understand, a mixture of pain and pleasure.
I, seeing this, paid no attention and continued explaining the Dao.
Seventy thousand years passed quickly. When the seventy thousand years were up, I stopped lecturing, and
the primordial cultivators, who had been listening intently, heard the voice of the Great Dao vanish instantly. Like a fishbone stuck in their throats, they
were all uncomfortable and deeply disappointed.
"The seventy thousand years of preaching have passed. Know that greed leads to stagnation; follow the natural course. The path of cultivation is exceptionally arduous;
a slight misstep can lead to utter ruin. Cultivate step by step, without being overly ambitious
. Among the myriad paths, there is surely one that belongs to you. Return to your caves and digest
the profound truths you have heard over these seventy thousand years. I will preach here again in two hundred thousand years. Now…now…" Having said
this, I turned and entered Penglai Island, but my last words lingered in the air.
The beings, initially somewhat disappointed, instantly understood after hearing my words. Indeed, even
the teachings I had imparted over these seventy thousand years were incredibly profound; greed could not guarantee complete digestion. Thus,
clarity returned to the beings' eyes. Some wanted to return to their caves, some called their friends to gather and discuss their gains, and
some remained at the preaching site. Moreover, I have already given all cultivators two hundred thousand years, enough time to comprehend
their own path among the myriad paths.
