Chapter 016 Brilliant Flowers Under the Starlight

Zhigang drove to Sister Wu's house as soon as he got off work. It had been a long time since he'd seen Sister Wu; he missed her elegant sexiness and the elegance within her sexiness. Every time he was with her, he felt it was a wonderful experience, unforgettable.

Sister Wu personally cooked several exquisite Shanghainese dishes for Zhigang, but without sugar, knowing he didn't like the sweetness of Shanghai cuisine. The soft light caressed Sister Wu's beautiful face, giving her a sacred appearance. Her breasts, exposed by her low-cut neckline, were as white as jade under the light. He knew this beauty and sanctity belonged to him tonight, so he suppressed his emotions and savored the visual, auditory, and spiritual feast this beautiful woman offered him.

The music continued to flow lightly in the room, celebrating life, youth, joy, and beauty.

Sister Wu poured two glasses of red wine and handed one to Zhigang. Zhigang took the glass, but then said, spoiling the mood, "Drinking alcohol is bad for your health."

Sister Wu smiled gently and said, "A little bit, to lighten the mood and add some fun, is actually good for your health."

"Really?"

Zhigang clinked glasses with Sister Wu and took a sip. "Anyway, you

both have your reasons." "Zhigang, I have something to tell you."

"What is it?"

"At my age, I need a stable partner. I have an old friend, we grew up in a military compound, and now he's the chairman of a large real estate company. He pursued me when he was young but didn't win me over. He recently got divorced and started pursuing me again."

"You've already agreed in your heart, haven't you?"

"Yes, I've already agreed in my heart."

"I understand. We won't see each other anymore, or we'll see each other less, right?"

"No. We didn't see each other much to begin with, but we're still important sexual partners to each other."

"Right. You're right. We don't see each other often, but there's enough attraction that makes us want each other intensely every now and then."

“I want to maintain this beautiful relationship. Don’t worry, if he doesn’t accept my lifestyle, I won’t accept his either. We’re both this age, and we’ve experienced hardships that most people can’t bear. We have enough wisdom and magnanimity to accept each other. Telling you this is a sign of my respect for you, because you are an important man in my life, and I want you to be mentally prepared. Also, for future wife-swapping activities, you’ll need to find another regular female partner.”

Zhigang felt a little lost, yet also somewhat helpless. He raised his glass and clinked it with Sister Wu’s: “Sister Wu, I sincerely wish you well. I will love you and want you as always.”

Sister Wu’s eyes sparkled with a sexy light as she downed her drink. She put down her glass, pulled Zhigang to his feet, their faces close together, chests pressed together, their hands on each other’s lower backs, and they danced slowly to the music. Zhigang’s penis was already rock hard, pressing against Sister Wu’s lower abdomen. Sister Wu deliberately pushed her abdomen forward, bending his penis. Zhigang lifted the hem of her nightgown, grabbed her thighs with both hands, opening her vulva, and thrust inside.

Sister Wu opened her mouth, displaying an expression of extreme pleasure, moaning softly. Zhigang gently placed her on the carpet, making her legs point towards the sky, and pounded hard against her clitoris. He felt the petals being ravaged by his rough jade pillar.

Sister Wu's tides always surged, overwhelming Zhigang, but this time he held on, letting the tide recede after several impacts on his erect jade pillar.

"Zhigang, you're even better now,"

Sister Wu said admiringly.

"Yes. Ever since the problem was resolved last time, I've become better."

"Today you gave me three orgasms in one go."

"More, please."

"Three is enough. Come on. Ah—"

True to her reputation as a virgin, Sister Wu brought Zhigang to orgasm as well during her third orgasm.

Sister Wu said, "Zhigang, you're so amazing now, let's try something new tonight."

"Okay. How about it?"

Sister Wu led Zhigang to the rooftop platform on the third floor. There were no tall buildings around, only villas of three stories or less. The view was expansive. There was no moon tonight, but a few scattered stars peeked out from the sky. Such weather was rare in Shanghai. Sister Wu spread the blankets she had brought on the ground and said, "Today we'll make love under the sky and stars. I want you to do it for two hours."

Zhigang immediately became excited. He laid Sister Wu down, his tongue lightly licking her clitoris, saying, "Last time I made Linli bloom in the sunlight, today I want you to shine under the stars."

His penis then entered deep into her.

In the morning, as usual, Zhigang let his penis enter her open clitoris, letting pleasure awaken Sister Wu, and then they continued until they both reached their peak. Like dessert after a meal, it gave the meal a perfect ending.

They were going to attend an event today. After enjoying a delicious breakfast prepared by Sister Wu, they set off. Sister Wu directed Zhigang to drive to Sheshan, stopping in front of a hotel deep in the forest. A male waiter opened the car door for Sister Wu, helped her out, and then sat in the driver's seat to park the car for her.

Zhigang followed Sister Wu up to a conference room on the third floor. There were already ** people inside, and Zhigang recognized half of them, though they didn't recognize him because they were celebrities. Zhigang recognized one of them as Pan Jiahui, a renowned domestic economist, and three entrepreneurs who were also industry leaders in China. Sister Wu introduced them to him one by one. The names of the others he didn't recognize were also familiar; they were all leading figures in the domestic business world.

The atmosphere was very casual; everyone drank tea, ate snacks, and chatted freely about anything. Zhigang saw an entrepreneur encountering a problem and consulting with an economist, while several other prominent entrepreneurs offered advice. But after a while, they all dispersed, leaving only one business leader to speak privately with that entrepreneur.

The last person Sister Wu introduced was a burly man in his fifties, with a straight posture, who appeared to be a former soldier. He was Chu Guanjun, chairman of the Changying Group.

Sister Wu explained that today's event was an activity of the "Sheshan Research Association." This association was initiated by economist Pan Jiahui and co-founded by several leading figures in the domestic business world. It was more about abstract discussions than practical matters, just casual chats. Of course, the things these figures discussed casually would be very valuable intelligence if disclosed. The entrepreneurs Zhigang recognized had all, like Buffett, sold opportunities to have lunch with him under the guise of charity, for amounts ranging from two to three million yuan. Zhigang thought that today's opportunity was probably worth over ten million yuan. Unfortunately, he wasn't prepared and didn't know what questions to ask.

Pan Jiahui walked up to Zhigang and said, "Young man, I know your neighbor's migrant worker family."

Zhigang was surprised: "You know them too?"

"There are so many reports in the newspapers, how could I not know? We have something in common: we both pay special attention to migrant workers."

Zhigang was flattered and said, "You flatter me. How can I compare to you?"

Zhigang knew that Pan Jiahui was one of the earliest economists to speak up for migrant workers. He once claimed that he didn't understand agriculture, but he understood migrant workers best. He believed that research on contemporary Chinese economy would not be complete without understanding migrant workers.

Pan Jiahui said, "The activities of the Sheshan Research Association are very casual. You can say whatever you want, there are only two very simple requirements: first, don't be modest; second, don't talk empty words. So,"

he patted Zhigang on the shoulder, "young man, I'm serious."

Zhigang then said honestly, "I'm truly flattered."

Pan Jiahui pointed to several other industry leaders and said, “You are far less wealthy than them, and you could say you are far less successful than them, but your vision and originality are in no way inferior to theirs. In terms of the genes of success, you are equal.”

The old man, getting carried away, put his teacup on the table and gestured, saying, “There are three important factors for success. First, personal talent; second, the help of benefactors; and third, opportunity. I have studied the reasons for their success, and it is all due to the combined effect of these three points. The only difference is that the proportion of each factor varies from person to person.”

Zhigang felt as if a window had opened before him, allowing him to see a landscape he had never seen before.

The old man said, “Your fellow Anhui native, Shi Yuzhu, is also a member of this research association. Even during his most difficult time—when Giant Group went bankrupt and he was 300 million yuan in debt—he still frequently attended events. No one directly guided him, and I didn't offer him advice either, because at that level, being in a different industry, no one's advice would work; only his own methods would be effective. Heaven helps those who help themselves. He was just chatting casually with everyone. When he made a comeback, including himself, no one could clearly say what his connection was with this research association, but no one dared to say there was no connection.”

The old man finished speaking and left without saying goodbye. Zhigang felt as if he had been struck by lightning, suddenly understanding.

At noon, there was a buffet lunch; those who liked wine could pour themselves some. The atmosphere was the same as in the morning—casual conversations with anyone, large or small groups, even just two people.

After lunch, everyone dispersed like birds and beasts.

Sister Wu held onto Zhigang, refusing to leave. Zhigang complained, "Sister Wu, you should have told me about this great opportunity beforehand."

Sister Wu smiled and said, "It's the Sheshan Research Association's rule. Don't bring a research topic; it's best not to prepare anything. That way, the questions you can think of on the spot are the ones you'll most want to know. They're not looking to solve problems, they just want to immerse themselves in this atmosphere and let their minds process."

"Sister Wu, aren't we leaving?"

"Leave what? We still have activities."

Chu Guanjun, who had already left, reappeared at the door, saying loudly, "Xiao Fan, let's go."

Sister Wu said to Zhigang, "He's the person I told you about yesterday."

Zhigang then realized that he was the one who wanted to marry Sister Wu.

Sister Wu stood up, handed Zhigang a room key, and said, "You'll need it later. Sit for a while; someone will come to see you soon. Old Chu and I are leaving now." Sister

Wu took Chu Guanjun's arm and left. Before Zhigang could even react, he saw a beautiful woman in white, like a celestial being, gracefully float in from the doorway.

"Linli!"

Zhigang exclaimed in surprise.

Linli hurried over, rushed forward, and hugged Zhigang tightly. Her full breasts pressed against his chest, and her tongue chased after his tongue in his mouth. After

a passionate kiss, Zhigang pushed Linli away slightly, looked her over, and said, "You look so beautiful today. You shouldn't be a minister anymore; it's a waste of such a beautiful woman."

"Zhigang, I'd rather be with you every day than be a minister."

"Yes. Life is full of disappointments; it's all fate."

"We haven't seen each other for half a year."

Zhigang thought for a moment; shortly after their last meeting, he had gotten into trouble and then went on a trip abroad, so it had been half a year since then. He said, "It really has been half a year. How are you?"

Linli smiled playfully and said, "I'm doing alright as an official, but that's not what you're asking about. As for my personal life, these past six months have been like I haven't been with a man at all."

"How could it be so bad? Can you tell me?"

"Okay. I'll tell you all my secrets today. But you're not in a hurry to hear it now, are you?"

Looking at Linli's eyes, Zhigang understood and hugged her, saying, "I have something more urgent to do with you."

Zhigang found the room by the number on the room card, opened the door, picked up Linli and threw her onto the bed, then pounced on her and pinned her down, saying, "I've missed you so much."

"You really missed me?"

This question was asked with the same intelligence as a young girl in love.

"What do you think?"

Zhigang unbuttoned her blouse, then took off her bra, freeing her breasts, and then sucked on her nipples, letting his tongue feel the nipples harden.

Linli was too busy to speak, and began to moan intermittently. Zhigang's tongue moved to the cave beneath her pubic hair, where it was already flooded and still gushing out. Zhigang then revealed his jade stem and thrust it straight into Linli's vagina.

A look of pain appeared on Linli's face, as if someone was violating her and she was extremely unwilling. Zhigang now particularly enjoyed seeing this expression on her face; he found it amusing and beautiful.

Linli's orgasm was exceptionally intense, requiring Zhigang to continue his assault for several minutes before it subsided, but he remained erect. Linli, unaware of his recent changes, asked him in surprise, "You haven't ejaculated yet?"

Zhigang laughed, "No. Waiting to make you experience that ecstasy again."

Linli was delighted, kissing Zhigang and saying, "Little Zhigang, you're amazing."

She then showed a pained expression again, and Zhigang knew her pleasure was building up again, so he prepared for the second wave, saying, "This time I'll make you experience the ultimate pleasure; I'll make you experience ecstasy with me."

Linli screamed, her body violently thrusting Zhigang up and down, followed by a series of screams. Zhigang relentlessly attacked her, twisting her into a pretzel and then into a water snake beneath him, impaling her on the tip of his spear and making her wrap herself around it several times. Finally, Zhigang erupted, shattering the twisted dough stick into pieces and slicing the water snake into several pieces…

Watching the pained face beneath him return to calm, Zhigang kissed her and said, “Linli, I’m going to torture you again today; the pleasure is yet to come.”

Linli hugged Zhigang contentedly, murmuring, “Little Zhigang, you have to do it with me more often in the future. Don’t wait another six months.”

“Can I come to you whenever I want in the future?”

“Yes. I told you to ask Sister Wu for her phone number.”

“Okay, I won’t worry next time. It’s fine if it affects your work; at worst, I’ll lose my job and come back, and I’ll do it to you like this every day.”

Linli said like a self-deprecating prostitute, “I’m willing. I want you to do it to me like this every day.”

“I want you to be my woman forever, okay?”

“Okay.”

Zhigang said, “Now tell me your story.”

Linli gently grasped his penis and said sweetly, “No. I want it again.”

Hearing this, Zhigang also wanted it and thrust into her again.

This time, Zhigang brought Linli to three waves of pleasure before calming her six-month-long desire.

Before Zhigang could finish speaking, Linli began to tell her story: "My becoming an official was actually quite accidental, simply because I'm pretty. I was the campus belle in college, and after graduation, I was assigned to work as an accountant in a county finance bureau. A year later, the bureau leaders arranged for me to study at the Party School, and upon my return, I became the deputy section chief. This position is one that many people strive for for years to achieve, and I, a junior accountant who had only worked for a little over a year, became one. Although college graduates were still rare at the time, I think the most important reason was my appearance."

"A person's desire for success plays a significant role in their ultimate success. From a young age, I loved being an official. My career path in the class was from class representative to academic representative, vice class monitor, and class monitor. Then I wanted to be the grade leader and join the Youth League. In university, I didn't value the title of 'campus beauty,' believing it was just good luck, not earned through ability. I wanted to be the student council president, but ultimately, because I was a girl, I only became the vice president before graduation. Now I think my thinking back then was naive. Luck accompanies a person throughout their life. Being beautiful is good luck, but isn't being smart and intelligent also good luck? If I had been less lucky and not intelligent enough at birth, no matter how hard I tried, could I have become the vice president of the student council?"

Zhigang recalled what economist Pan Jiahui had said that morning about the three elements of success: talent, mentors, and opportunity. Linli's talk of luck partly determines talent, and partly it's about opportunity.

Seeing Linli pause, Zhigang asked, "Did you encounter a benefactor?"

"It's unimaginable to succeed in politics without support; that's what you mean by a benefactor. Of course I did. My bureau chief was one. If he hadn't sent me to the Party School, my career wouldn't have been so smooth. He had foresight, recognizing that I wasn't just a pretty face, but also ambitious and wanted to climb the ladder. If you really want a career in politics, being pretty isn't enough. I'm still grateful to that bureau chief. He didn't make any demands on me. There were rumors circulating that I slept with him, which is why he was grooming me. Actually, his closest physical contact with me was often patting my shoulder and encouraging me, saying, 'Xiao Zhang, as long as you keep working hard, you'll definitely have a bright future.' The bureau chief remained calm about the rumors, never explaining or fearing being wronged. This attitude taught me a lot and greatly inspired and helped me deal with similar problems in the future. I know that the probability of encountering this kind of problem in my future career will be very high. Just because I'm pretty, no matter how well I do, people will naturally assume it's because of my looks." Therefore, I was particularly careful in this regard, preferring to lose opportunities rather than let a lecherous leader take advantage of me. I believed that gaining opportunities by sleeping with leaders wouldn't lead to long-term success and would be far riskier.

"One of the prices I paid was that I was still a virgin at 30. Back then, few people dated in college, and although the campus belle was pursued, she dared not date under the public eye. Actually, deep down, I thought the same as you: a beautiful woman should be enjoyed by the men she loves and the men who love her, otherwise it's a waste. But I chose a career in politics, so I had to make sacrifices.

"My marriage was also arranged by my superiors. I married the secretary of a provincial leader, and everyone knew he would rise quickly. After marriage, I was transferred to a higher-level agency, which truly launched my career. Sometimes I'm confused. You say I don't want to gain opportunities by sleeping with leaders, but my opportunities still came from sleeping with leaders. The difference is that the former was illegal, sleeping with different leaders, while the latter was legal, sleeping with my husband, the same man. The result is the same." “

Zhigang said, ‘Your husband has always been a higher-ranking official than you; he’s probably a provincial or ministerial-level cadre now. Right?’”

“Yes. You’re very smart.”

“I remember Engels said that having sex with a man for money is prostitution, and marrying into a wealthy family for the same purpose is also prostitution. The difference is that the former is sold to different people, while the latter is sold to only one person. That’s similar to what you just said.”

“You little rascal.”

Linli lightly slapped Zhigang’s little brother. “You dare say I’m a prostitute?”

“You said it yourself. Isn’t that right?”

Linli thought for a moment and said, “Perhaps it is. But then again, it’s also my luck. I made full use of my luck, worked very well, let the leader who valued me know that he hadn’t misjudged me, and let those who said I got my opportunities through men say that I still have ability. Of course, for me, it was finally the kind of success I wanted, being able to do what I wanted to do.” When you hold power, it's a double-edged sword. Used well, it can benefit the people and change many people's destinies; used poorly, it can harm the people and ruin many people's lives. This is a challenge for me, but also the joy of striving.”

Zhigang said, “Do you know what you've lost the most, what you've suffered the greatest loss?”

“I know,”

Linli said, “It's my sex life.”

“How is your sex life with your husband?”

“You can imagine. We're both very busy with work, coming home very late every day, sometimes not even coming home. Now, my husband has been transferred to another province, and we're living apart. I should have gone too, but I can't bear to leave this work environment. I don't want to change to a strange environment for a man or for a promotion.”

“Poor Linli,”

Zhigang said, “Being such a high-ranking official, you're not as happy as an ordinary citizen.”

“You think being an official is happy? Let me tell you, there are no happy leaders. Their work pressure and responsibilities are greater than others; you can't understand unless you experience it firsthand. ” Of course, you could say he has the opportunity to be corrupt and enjoys special privileges. But what you don't know is that once he becomes corrupt, his life becomes even more difficult. He'll live in constant fear and anxiety, and by then it will be too late for regrets. I know many leaders who are of good character and capable, but because of a single wrong decision, they accepted bribes and ruined their lives. So, being an official is very risky.”

“Since he's of good character and capable, he must be intelligent and wise. How could he make that wrong decision?”

“The vast majority of corrupt officials are passive. Let's not even talk about what their family and relatives did that put them in a passive position; just consider a private entrepreneur like yourself. For example, if you give gifts to a leader who has been supportive of your business during holidays, is that considered bribery? Will the leader accept them? If they do, regardless of the size of the gift, it opens a door, making it difficult to refuse future gifts until they actually accept large bribes; if they don't accept, you're slapping them in the face. Holidays are joyous occasions; how can you slap someone in the face? No matter how high your official position is, you're still in China, and you have to deal with people, right?” " Many leaders opened the floodgates under these circumstances, and once they started, they couldn't stop, eventually ending up in jail."

"So, according to you, being an official is not only risky, but sometimes makes you the weaker party."

"Don't be fooled by the official's prestige; when it comes to bribery, they are the weaker party. Once they accept a bribe, the power dynamic, the active/passive relationship between them and the bribe-giver, is reversed. How many officials have fallen because of this over the years? And how many business owners who offered bribes have gone bankrupt or been imprisoned?"

"That's true. For these benefits, officials gamble with their lives and fortunes, while business owners gamble with the money they can afford. So, officials really are the weaker party."

"Alright."

Linli stroked Zhigang's belly and said, "I've said a lot already; you should know me well now."

"I still don't understand."

"Still don't understand? What else do you want to know?"

"Besides my husband and me, have you never had another man?"

"I dare not. As I said before, officials are the weaker party, and this applies to this as well. If any rumors surface, even if you're innocent, your political future could be ruined." "

Then why do you dare to have a relationship with me?"

"You're a nobody, you don't need me to do anything for you. Of course, you might become ambitious, but Sister Wu has already dispelled my doubts about that. She greatly admires your character. Also, I've been an official for so many years, I'm tired of it, and I don't value it as much anymore. I want some privacy. I'm a woman, a beautiful woman, and as you said, I can't ruin myself anymore."

Zhigang fondled one of her breasts and said, "Let me ruin you."

Zhigang's hand lightly touched her lower opening, making her feel numb all over. She twisted her body and laughed, saying, "Welcome to ruin me, the harder the better."

"The more I ruin you, the more beautiful you become."

Zhigang entered her. Linli closed her eyes and hummed softly, enjoying life with a painful expression.

Looking at this beautiful woman, Zhigang stirred her cave, making her beautiful and vivid, while asking her, "Do you want another man?"

"No."

Linli opened her eyes, looked at Zhigang and said, "I am already satisfied with you, and I am glad that I accepted Sister Wu's suggestion and took this step."

"Perhaps other men would give you greater pleasure."

"No. I don't want any more. I am already grateful to fate. "

Chapter 017 Rich Woman Inspection Team

Orchid returned from Maotai Town, but the agreement was not signed.

Zhigang asked, "Why wasn't it signed?"

"Jing'er's mother is sick. I just arrived in Zunyi and called Jing'er. Jing'er said she was in the hospital, so I went straight to the hospital. Her mother had food poisoning, it was very serious, and her life was in danger. After being rescued, she was very weak. These past few days, Jing'er and I have taken turns taking care of her mother in the hospital."

"How did Jing'er's mother get poisoned?"

"She drank a kind of health tea, I don't know where she bought it from, but she drank it for more than a year and was fine, and her health was indeed better than before. " After the poisoning, Jing'er reported it to the police. Tests revealed it was a highly poisonous mushroom from the local mountains, dried and mixed into the tea.

"Why did this happen at this time? Could someone have poisoned it?"

"The police said they couldn't rule out poisoning, but there were no leads. Jing'er's mother didn't know where the person selling the health tea was. Besides, since no one died, the police were busy with other things and put the matter aside."

"What did Jing'er say?"

"Jing'er said she'd sign the contract after her mother was discharged and recovered. So I came back first."

"I always felt this winery was like a mystery, impossible to understand."

"You think someone is behind this?"

"Definitely. Someone was following me when I was there and even took photos of me and Jing'er at the hotel entrance. Tianming used those photos as evidence to demand a divorce from Jing'er."

"So, someone might have followed me this time too?"

"More than just following. " "I suspect that before you even arrived, they knew when you were going and poisoned Jing'er's mother."

"So, they temporarily prevented us from signing the contract?"

"Yes."

"Who did it? And what was their purpose?"

"Whoever did it, Tianming is definitely involved."

"What do we do now?"

"Let's wait and see. Keep in touch with Jing'er and tell her to be careful. If we try to sign the contract again after her mother recovers, I suspect there will be more problems." "

Can we have Jing'er sign the contract with us without telling anyone?"

"No. Her whole family has to sign, and that won't be able to hide it from Tianming."

"What's going on with this Tianming?"

"I think we shouldn't rush things now. We should retreat strategically, let them think we're hesitating about signing, give them time, and they'll naturally come forward."

Guiling came in and asked, "The agreement hasn't been signed?"

Zhigang briefly explained the situation to her, and she said, "It's okay to put this on hold; we can delay it." "We're doing this to help Jing'er; otherwise, we could have easily found another winery to partner with,"

Zhigang said. "It's because of Jing'er that I created the Lincun Winery brand."

"Zhigang, don't just think about Jing'er all the time. You should also take care of me,"

Guiling said, a little coquettishly.

"What's going on with you?"

"A lot. I've already started organizing the women to go to Daishan County for a site visit. The date is set for next weekend."

"Is Xinyi ready?"

"Yes, she is. Xinyi said she's having some difficulties at work, and our visit can help them out."

"Great. Let's go then."

"Didn't you say you wanted to go with us?" "

But I'm still worried about Jing'er." "

It's Jing'er again. You're not in Guizhou anyway; it doesn't matter whether you're in Shanghai or Anhui."

"Alright, I'll go then. To visit the women left behind in rural areas."

"You probably want to visit Xinyi, right?"

"How many people are going this time?"

"More than twenty." "I plan to rent a minibus for the group activity; they won't be allowed to drive themselves. Once we get there, we won't stay in hotels, but rather disperse to farmers' homes, allowing them to have close contact with the women left behind in the villages."

"Are they willing?"

"Yes. They're very happy; women like novelty. Besides, the farmers' homes are spacious, though hygiene is a concern."

Around 4 PM, when the minibus arrived at the reservoir dam, Xinyi and Beibei, along with Cunmei, Hongxia, and village head Peng Dazhuang, stood at the village entrance to greet them. Some women also ran out to watch. The minibus drove from the dam, then took a large detour along the road to the village entrance. Xinyi and the others waited for more than ten minutes before the minibus came into view and stopped in front of them.

Zhigang was the first to get off, and Xinyi happily hugged him, followed by Beibei. Guiling was the second to get off, exclaiming, "Hey! Don't go too far! Why isn't anyone hugging me?"

Xinyi quickly came over and hugged her, saying, "Not only will I hug you, I want to lift you up! " " You deserve the most credit for bringing them here."

One by one, the women got off the car, and Guiling introduced them to the village chief and Xinyi. Peng Dazhuang, like a high-ranking official, shook hands with each woman, saying happily, "Welcome, welcome. This is the first time so many city people have come to Pengjia Village. The village is truly blessed."

Xinyi said, "Village chief, please say a few words on behalf of Pengjia Village."

"No, what's there to say?"

"You're the host, you should express your welcome and show the villagers' enthusiasm."

Guiling said loudly, "Everyone, please be quiet. Now, please let Pengjia Village Chief Peng Dazhuang give a welcoming speech."

Everyone applauded enthusiastically. Peng Dazhuang, with a cigarette in his hand, had no choice but to say a few words: "Dear women from the big city, hello everyone. On behalf of the villagers of Pengjia Village, I welcome you. I hope you have a pleasant time these next two days, go to the mountain to burn incense, stroll through the market, take pictures, and even go into the mountains to pick mushrooms and dig wild vegetables." Anyway, we're sure to have something you like here. We also hope that while you're staying with the villagers, you can help our rural women learn city fashion, like makeup, clothing, and even how to walk. You say city women walk so gracefully, you call it elegance. Our women here don't walk well; they look like they're about to jump over manure buckets or carry hoes.”

The village chief's words amused the women, who laughed heartily. A large group of wives said, “Village chief, let your wife learn first. Walk like a cat on the paddy field ridges, and she'll be sitting right on them, riding on them!”

“Who says you can walk like a cat on the paddy field ridges? You can walk like that in the village, on the dam.”

Guiling asked, “Is the village chief finished?”

“Yes.”

“Good. Now, let's welcome General Manager Feng Zhigang to speak.”

Zhigang stepped forward and said, “The village chief has said everything he needed to say, and he said it very well and practically. I wish you all a pleasant and fruitful trip.” I'll be accompanying you all around for the next couple of days. If you have any questions or requests, please speak with General Manager Guiling, or you can speak with me directly. Thank you!

Guiling asked, "Xinyi, have they all been arranged to stay at their homes?"

"Yes, they've all been arranged. They're mostly staying with villagers who participated in the cooperative; they've all arrived."

"Good. Let them take them home. One person per family."

The villagers surged forward, each leading someone home. Cunmei grabbed Wang Yanli and said, "Come on, you can stay at my house."

She took Wang Yanli's suitcase, picked it up, and left.

"What's your name?"

Wang Yanli asked.

“My name is Li Cunmei. My husband is an engineering manager in Shanghai, his name is Peng Daqun.”

“Peng Daqun? I think I’ve heard of him.”

“You’ve heard of him?”

Li Cunmei turned to look at Wang Yanli. “How come you’ve heard of him?”

“Yes, I remember now. Not only have I heard of him, I’ve also met him. Isn’t your husband a manager under Peng Dazhi?”

“Yes.”

Cunmei was even more surprised. “How do you even know Dazhi?”

Wang Yanli laughed and said, “It’s funny. We attended a salon event at a neighboring village’s guild hall. That Peng Dazhi had an affair and came to our meeting place to make a scene, saying that Peng Dazhi didn’t want her anymore. Peng Dazhi’s wife is the person in charge of our salon. After that incident, we couldn’t help but remember Peng Dazhi.”

“Is that so?”

Cunmei also found it amusing. “Then how do you know my Daqun?”

“We visited the construction site he was in charge of. He even accompanied us personally. We ate and chatted with the workers, and had a very pleasant time.”

Little did Cunmei know that Wang Yanli had also slept with several of Daqun’s migrant workers. She asked, "What's your name?"

"My name is Wang Yanli."

"What kind of business does your husband do?"

"He's in real estate."

"That's a big boss. Real estate people are all rich."

They arrived at Cunmei's house. Daqun's parents were sitting in the yard, one smoking, the other preparing vegetables. Cunmei said, "Dad, Mom, this is a distinguished guest from Shanghai. Her name is Wang Yanli, and she knows Daqun."

Daqun's parents quickly stood up and warmly welcomed her. Wang Yanli felt embarrassed and said, "Uncle, Aunt, please sit down."

Daqun's mother said, "Quickly take the guest upstairs; the rooms are all ready."

Cunmei led Wang Yanli upstairs. The room was very clean, and there was a strong, pungent smell of perfume. Wang Yanli opened the window and said, "Don't spray so much perfume in the room. Many perfumes are poisonous."

"Really? I thought all fragrant things were good."

"Perfume doesn't eliminate odors; it just masks them with fragrance. The odor is still there. So don't use perfume lightly. It's different from women using perfume to apply makeup."

"See, you city people know more. I specially went to town to buy this perfume. You know we country folk don't use perfume."

"Cunmei,"

Wang Yanli put her arm around Cunmei's shoulder, "country people are most beautiful in their natural state, understand? Why do city people wear makeup? Because they lack confidence and want to cover up their flaws. It's like how perfume covers up bad smells, but the smell is still there."

"You don't use perfume?"

Cunmei asked curiously.

“I do use it. But only lightly, and I wear some light makeup. Like I said, it's because I lack confidence. I'm over forty, and there are some areas I really need to cover up. You're different.”

Wang Yanli looked Cunmei up and down and said, “Young, healthy, and energetic, that's beauty, why would you need makeup?”

Cunmei said insecurely, “Look at my dark skin, what's so beautiful about it?”

“Beautiful. A dark beauty. Western women sunbathe every day to tan themselves. They consider dark skin beautiful.”

Cunmei didn't believe her, thinking she was just flattering her because she was staying at her house. So she said, “Take a shower first, then rest for a while. There's a bathroom on the second floor with a solar water heater, you can take a shower. I'll call you when it's time to eat.”

Hongxia lived alone, so she brought Gu Jingjing and Yingying home. She told the two women to shower and rest first, then went to the kitchen to cook.

After Hongxia finished cooking, she went upstairs to call them to eat. The two women lingered for half an hour before coming down one after the other. They had not only showered, but also put on makeup and changed their clothes. Hongxia thought, "Women in big cities are such a hassle. Who am I supposed to be putting on makeup for at night?

" Gu Jingjing saw the braised pork, steamed salted duck with soybeans, steamed dried fish, and stir-fried vegetables on the table and exclaimed happily, "Wow, that's great! These are all my favorite dishes. Is there any wine? I want some!"

"Yes, there is,"

Hongxia said. "They brought some aged soy sauce-flavored liquor from a neighboring village."

"No wine?"

"I'm sorry. No wine,"

Yingying said. "Then let's have some baijiu. Drinking strong liquor in the countryside is quite suitable."

Jingjing picked up her chopsticks, ate a piece of braised pork with more fat than lean, chewed a few times, and exclaimed, "Delicious! This is local pork. Yingying, you should try a piece too."

Yingying said, "I don't dare to eat it." "

Are you afraid of gaining weight? It's okay, just exercise more and burn off the calories."

Yingying picked up a smaller piece of lean meat to taste and said, "So delicious!"

"I'll try some steamed small fish."

A spoonful of sauce was placed on a dried small fish. Jingjing spread the sauce evenly on the fish, picked one up, and let it go straight into her open mouth. She chewed it and said, "Delicious!"

Hongxia poured the wine and said, "Come on, drink up. The wine is delicious too."

Jingjing raised her glass and said, "Hongxia, thank you for cooking such delicious food. I'll toast you."

Hongxia said, "It's nothing. This is just everyday food in the countryside, we eat it every day."

"Every day?"

Jingjing said, "You're so lucky."

Hongxia thought to herself, "If you switched places with me, I'd be happier."

After a few drinks, Jingjing blushed and said, "Hongxia, where do you want to go tonight?"

"Tonight?"

Hongxia said, "There's nowhere to go in the countryside at night, it's all pitch black."

"Nowhere to go?"

Jingjing's eyes darted around, and she said, "Then let's go see the moon."

"We can see the moon today."

Jingjing put down her chopsticks and said, "Let's go see the moon."

Hongxia said, "We haven't eaten yet."

"I'm full. I don't want to eat rice."

Yingying also said, "I'll only eat vegetables tonight, not rice."

Hongxia said, "Then I'll eat a bowl of rice and then I'll take you out."

Hongxia quickly finished a bowl of rice and led the women outside. Jingjing, having drunk a bit too much, clung to Hongxia's shoulder, practically leaning her entire weight on her. As they stepped out of the courtyard, a cool, refreshing breeze swept over them. The moon had just risen behind the mountainside, its light soft and gentle, barely perceptible on clothing, yet making the women's breasts appear more prominent. The stars twinkled, and the Milky Way stretched across the sky like a wild stroke of calligraphy. The two women had never seen such a night sky before. Jingjing, overjoyed, shouted, "Ah—!"

Her voice carried far, even eliciting barking from the village dogs before finally subsiding.

Yingying scolded, "Are you crazy? Or are you having an orgasm?"

Jingjing replied, "Even an orgasm isn't this pleasant. I could have an orgasm every day, but how many times in my life can I experience such a clear night sky and clean air?"

Several doors opened, and people came out.

"Who's doing that there?"

Guiling asked from afar.

Jingjing and Yingying burst into laughter, their voices quickly carrying far. The village dogs barked again.

Guiling approached and said, "The villagers are all wondering why city women bark more than the village dogs."

Jingjing said, "Do you know why? Because there are no men in this village, the yin energy is too strong, and the women are lonely, so they have to bark desperately."

Wang Yanli and Cunmei also came out. Wang Yanli said, "The moon is so beautiful, let's stay outside a little longer."

Jingjing said, "Let's dance."

Yingying said, "There's no music."

At this moment, many more people came out. Seeing their happiness, Guiling asked, "Do you really want to dance?"

"Yes. Do you have a sound system?"

Cunmei said, "I do have a sound system, but I can't bring it out from home. Years ago, we had portable tape recorders, but they're all obsolete now."

Guiling said, "I have a way."

She asked the driver to bring the minibus over, turned on the sound system, turned the volume up to the maximum, played a fast-paced song, opened the door, and said, "How about it? Dance if you want!"

Jingjing led the way, and then Yingying also started jumping and dancing. Wang Yanli pulled Cunmei to dance, but Cunmei refused. Yanli said, "Dance however you want, as long as you're happy. Look."

She danced for Cunmei, then pulled her to dance with her. Cunmei awkwardly joined in.

The women from the city all joined in. A few village women, like Cunmei, tried dancing, but most, like Hongxia, refused to dance at all. Some elderly people, probably disturbed by the noise, came out to watch from a distance. Zhigang and the village head, Dazhuang, also came out. After watching for a while, Dazhuang said, "This is simply a chaotic dance of demons."

Zhigang said, "It's all women, it's a chaotic dance of foxes." They danced

until after 10 o'clock. Guiling looked at her watch, told the driver to turn off the radio, and said, "It's getting late. Everyone has had a long journey, let's get some rest."

Jingjing was still not satisfied and said, "It's still early."

Guiling said, "Miss, this is the countryside. We've been making a fuss for so long, the villagers are annoyed. They'd usually be asleep by now."

Gradually, everyone dispersed. Jingjing, Yingying, and Hongxia returned home.

Hongxia's family had many rooms, and the three women each had a bedroom upstairs. Jingjing said, "It's too early to sleep now, let's go to Hongxia's room and chat."

They took off their coats, revealing their tight underwear. Jingjing touched Hongxia's small breasts and said, "Hongxia, your breasts are quite beautiful, but they lack male stimulation, they're a bit small. You need to let men rub them more."

Hongxia felt embarrassed by her touch. Yingying said, "You're like a well-fed person who doesn't know the hunger of an starving one. Hongxia is a rural woman left behind, where do she usually find men?"

"If you don't have a man, I'll help you."

Jingjing said, taking off Hongxia's clothes and laying her down on the bed, pressing herself on top of her, taking her penis into her mouth, and licking it continuously with the tip of her tongue.

Yingying helped Jingjing take off her clothes, gesturing for Hongxia to grab her breasts with both hands. Hongxia was enjoying Jingjing's licking, and her lower body had already quietly opened a crack. Yingying took a tool from her room, gently rubbing it on the crack, causing it to gradually open and seep out fluid, then slowly inserting the tool inside.

Hongxia felt something like a man enter her, vibrating inside. She twisted and turned, letting it rub against her tender flesh. Each thrust brought a new wave of pleasure.

Chapter 018: The Unbreakable Bond of Fate.

Zhigang had just returned to his room when he received a text message from Xinyi: "Can I come?"

Zhigang replied, "Come on."

A moment later, the door opened silently, and Xinyi, wearing pajamas, slipped in gently. Her hair had grown long, still short for a woman, but it already showed her girlish side. Zhigang couldn't see any trace of the nun Jingyuan. Such a beautiful, sexy, and lively woman was completely different from a nun.

Xinyi stood by the bed, one foot on the edge, lifted the hem of her nightgown, and directly pointed her vulva at Zhigang's face. Zhigang knew she hadn't had a man for two months. These two months were different from when she was a nun. After she returned to secular life, she completely opened herself up. She and Zhigang had only been intimate a few times, and then never again. Zhigang knew all too well how difficult those days had been.

Zhigang skipped the foreplay, pulling Xinyi down and pinning her beneath him. Her breasts, barely concealed by her nightgown, further aroused him. He thrust directly into her, startling a flock of gulls.

Xinyi spun beneath him like a millstone, her body rubbing and rotating around the jade pillar, an electric current generating at the point of friction and spreading throughout her body. Soon, she lost control, screaming and desperately thrusting upwards, trying to make the jade pillar penetrate her. Zhigang cooperated, drilling downwards repeatedly, digging deep into the well. He felt a large amount of liquid gushing rhythmically from the joint between the jade pillar and the jade tenon, like a man ejaculating. He felt challenged and desperately pushed deeper, blocking the liquid. Finally, unable to withstand the pressure, the two rhythms collided head-on. Just as the clam's flesh contracted, the jade pillar expanded, releasing all its vitality. Then, with each rhythm, it was perfectly timed. As the clam's flesh contracted, the jade pillar expanded, and at the moment they pressed together most tightly, the focus of life was concentrated.

The climax lasted a minute, but felt like a lifetime. Xinyi clung to Zhigang, humming happily, "Zhigang, I wish it could last forever."

Zhigang stroked her smooth skin and said, "Beautiful things don't last forever. If you can cherish them while they're beautiful, you're blessed."

"Yes. Thank you for teaching me what to cherish."

The next morning, the plan was to go up the mountain to burn incense. More than 30 people formed a broken line, slowly walking up the mountain. The line grew longer and longer, with more and more breaks towards the back. Those at the very back were either those who never walked far and were physically weak, or those who loved taking pictures. Guiling stayed with this group at the back, constantly urging them to hurry up. Women who love taking pictures don't know the time unless you urge them.

After a long and drawn-out two-hour walk, they finally arrived at Baiyun Nunnery. Xinyi, who was leading the way, announced they would rest for a while and could also burn incense inside. Most of the women went in to burn incense, and some even donated money. After kowtowing and burning incense in the front hall, Xinyi and Zhigang went straight to the back. They encountered Abbess Jinghui in the courtyard, and Xinyi happily embraced her. Jinghui pulled away from Xinyi, clasped her hands together, and chanted "Amitabha," saying, "Jingyuan, you look radiant, which shows you are very content with your secular life. Congratulations!"

Xinyi also composed herself, clasping her hands together and saying, "Thank you, Abbess. Even after I returned to secular life, I still pray and chant sutras every day."

Jinghui stepped aside in an inviting gesture, saying, "Please come to the tea room for a while, so we can reminisce."

Xinyi and Zhigang stepped aside and walked ahead. Xinyi whispered to Zhigang, "You lied to me back then, making all sorts of promises. Now, look at her, has Senior Sister Jinghui's worldly ties been severed?"

"No, no. Her worldly roots are too deep to be severed."

"Is that so? What makes you say that?"

Zhigang smiled mysteriously, "Heavenly secrets cannot be revealed."

Xinyi nudged him with her shoulder, "Nonsense. You're just spouting nonsense."

They arrived at the tea room in the back hall and sat down in their usual seats. Jinghui sat quietly opposite them.

"Senior Sister, is everything alright at the nunnery after I left?" "Everything is fine. Thank you for your concern,

Junior Sister." Xin Yi glanced at Zhi Gang and said with a smile, "This benefactor said that Senior Sister's worldly ties are not yet severed. Do you believe it?" Jing Hui slightly raised her eyelids, remained silent for a moment, and said, "Severed or not severed, there is no difference; believe or not believe, it is all empty." Zhi Gang also put his hands together and said respectfully, "All things in the world, existence arises from non-existence, and non-existence arises from existence. Existence and non-existence give rise to each other and coexist, endlessly. Since there is emptiness, there is matter; only when there is matter can emptiness be revealed. If it is only emptiness, where does emptiness come from? If the nun is emptiness, then what is this physical body of yours? If worldly ties are empty, then where do worldly affairs go? Perhaps the nun still has some attachments?" “Reciting the Buddha’s name a thousand times will dispel all worries.” Zhigang looked out the window and saw villages, reservoirs, ponds, and winding roads arranged like building blocks below. Above, he could see the Fuhu Temple shrouded in incense smoke on the mountaintop. He pointed out the window and asked, “Master Jinghui, why is Baiyun Nunnery built halfway up this mountain?” Jinghui was taken aback and could not answer. She could only say, “Jinghui is ignorant and cannot understand. Please enlighten me, benefactor.” "One step up leads to the Buddhist realm; one step down leads to the secular world. When the founder of Bao'an Temple was still hesitant, unsure of which path to take, she chose this place where she could find a balance. Furthermore, in life, one can attain enlightenment through Buddhism and Taoism. Practicing at this boundary between monastic and secular life presents greater challenges and higher levels of understanding. Even if one is detached from worldly desires, a monk must still help all sentient beings. How can one help others without being close to the secular world?" Jinghui stood up, clasped her hands together, and bowed to Zhigang, saying, "Your wisdom has enlightened me. Please accept my bow." Zhigang quickly stood up and returned the bow: "I dare not accept such a gesture. Please, when you travel in the future, stop by my humble abode; perhaps we can discuss Zen principles again." As they parted, Zhigang gave Jinghui a business card. Xinyi had been secretly laughing inside, only daring to laugh out loud after leaving the temple. “Zhigang,” Xinyi pointed at Zhigang, laughing so hard she bent over, “I’m truly impressed by you. You spouted nonsense, yet you spoke with such conviction, persuading one nun to return to secular life, and then making another nun fall in love.” Zhigang clasped his hands together and said seriously, “It’s not that I’m all talk, but that you two have truly severed your worldly ties. Otherwise, no one could have persuaded you.” Xinyi stopped laughing and said, “That’s true. But without your nonsensical set of fallacies, these worldly ties would probably have ended.” “So, I’m also saving all sentient beings?” “You’re saving all nuns.” The two of them burst into laughter. Guiling walked over and asked, “What happy thing happened to you?” Xinyi suppressed a laugh, mysteriously holding up an index finger to Guiling, and said, “Heavenly secrets cannot be revealed.” “Alright, I don’t have time to ponder your heavenly secrets, let’s set off.” The group, once a tangled mess, was now a single thread, stretching upwards. This time, they reached the summit in an hour. Fuhu Temple was far more imposing than Baiyun Nunnery, demonstrating that even within Buddhism, there was a distinction between men and women, with men considered superior to women. Fuhu Temple was a renowned temple within a radius of hundreds of kilometers, known as the "Little Jiuhua of Jiangbei," and its incense was very strong. The main Buddha enshrined there, like that of Jiuhua Mountain, was Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva. Legend has it that one of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's walking sticks fell to the top of this mountain and remained embedded in the rock for thousands of years. Later, a wandering monk named Yongneng, seeking a place to stay, fell asleep under a huge stone pillar and dreamed that Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva enlightened him. Upon waking, he remembered nothing of the enlightenment he received in the dream, only that Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva was holding a walking stick. He carefully observed the stone pillar; it was as thick as a washbasin, tens of meters high, leaning against the edge of a cliff—exactly the shape of the walking stick in his dream. The imposing figure of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva made such a massive stone pillar a perfect walking stick. He immediately knelt down and kowtowed, lighting an incense stick before the pillar. This was the first incense stick burned at Fuhu Temple. From then on, Yongneng stopped traveling and instead went down the mountain to beg for alms, then went to the mountaintop to meditate and chant scriptures. Over time, a rumor spread among the people that a monk meditating on the mountaintop for so long must possess profound wisdom, and people began to come up the mountain in twos and threes to worship, kowtow, burn incense, add oil to the ever-burning lamps, and donate money. Seeing that the monk endured the sun and rain every day and meditated under a stone staff at night, the villagers at the foot of the mountain contributed money and labor to build him a thatched hut on the mountaintop for shelter. This was the earliest temple. It is said that every night when Yongneng meditated in the open air, a magnificent tiger would lie prostrate beside him, disappearing at dawn. Yongneng named the temple "Fuhu Chan Temple" (Tiger-Subduing Zen Temple) and became its first abbot. As the temple's popularity grew, Yongneng rebuilt Fuhu Chan Temple into three tiled houses, then a main hall, and later expanded it to over a thousand rooms. All the main halls and buildings in the temple were burned to the ground, but after more than thirty years of restoration, they have been largely restored to their original state. The wealthy women's tour group reached the mountaintop, where they burned incense and kowtowed with even greater devotion, donating even more money. Xin Yi had ordered vegetarian food from the temple several days in advance; by the time they reached the summit and burned incense, it was lunchtime. More than 30 women sat in the dining hall, chattering and arguing incessantly. While this disrupted the tranquility of the Buddhist temple, it also brought considerable wealth, popularity, and visual appeal to the temple, drawing the attention of other worshippers. While they ate, the monks did not enter the dining hall; only lay servants and disciples dressed in civilian clothes served the food. Zhi Gang asked Xin Yi, who was sitting beside him, "Why don't these monks come in?" Xin Yi clasped her hands together, dignified and serious, and said, "Our cultivation is still shallow; we dare not approach women." After saying this, she couldn't help but laugh. Zhigang said, "If our group stayed here for a month, I guarantee most of the monks would disrobe." "You mean most of them have severed their worldly ties?" "How many monks have truly severed their worldly ties? Let me tell you, it's not that I'm a silver-tongued charmer, but that most monks haven't severed their worldly ties. With such a high probability, how could my persuasion success rate be low?" "So that's the secret. I've been a monk for over a year and haven't noticed anything. How did you know?" "I guessed. I don't believe so many people willingly become monks; there must be compelling reasons. That's why believing in Buddhism without becoming a monk has a stronger foundation. That's why Christianity is the world's largest religion." The women were relatively quiet during the meal, being in a temple and not daring to be too unrestrained. After the meal, they all clasped their hands together to thank the lay disciples who provided services, and also thanked the monks they encountered on the way out. On the way down the mountain, they were tired and didn't speak, silently walking down. Even those who liked taking pictures didn't have the energy. Wang Yanli and Cunmei, however, seemed not tired at all, still muttering to themselves. They walked at the back, keeping a certain distance from the main group so that no one could hear them. After spending the night together, the two had clearly become good friends. "How long has it been since you've had sex with a man?" Wang Yanli asked Cunmei. Cunmei concealed her affair with Zhigang a few months ago, saying, "More than half a year. Not since after the Spring Festival." "Those days must have been so hard. Can't you find a decent lover?"

"Now, the men in the countryside are either disabled, old, or good-for-nothings. Where can you find them?"

"That's true. You've had it so hard. This kind of life can't go on forever; we have to find a solution."

"How? Either Daqun comes back, or I go there. It's unrealistic for him to come back, since he can earn money in Shanghai. It's also not feasible for me to go; the children are young, and Daqun's parents are old and in poor health; they need someone to take care of them." "

Your generation of farmers has wasted your best years in the city, squandering your time left behind. By the time you and your spouse can finally live together, you'll be old, and your lives will be over."

"Who says otherwise? That's why our current struggle is to ensure the next generation doesn't have to be migrant workers; ideally, they should become part of the big city and enjoy the contributions we make."

"It was only after coming here that I truly understood how arduous the work of migrant workers is in building the city. Those who withhold wages from migrant workers have no conscience. It's shameful to admit, but my husband also withheld wages from migrant workers when he was starting his business. When I go back, I'll tell him never to mistreat migrant workers again."

"Sister Yanli, thank you for your understanding. And thank you all for coming to the countryside and staying at our house. If it weren't for that, I wouldn't like you if I saw you on the street, because your city-dwelling air of superiority always makes me uncomfortable. But after getting to know you, I realize you're just as ordinary and kind as us."

"Don't thank me. We should all thank the neighboring village association for organizing this event, and thank your boss, General Manager Guiling."

"This Guiling hasn't been married long before she went to Shanghai. We haven't had much contact, so I didn't realize she had such abilities."

After dinner, no one suggested moon-gazing or dancing anymore; everyone was too tired to think about anything else but going to bed early. Xinyi, who often walked to beg for alms when she became a nun, was in good health and didn't feel tired at all. That night, she secretly went to Zhigang's room and had several rounds of passion with him, only sleeping a few hours that night. She knew that once Zhigang and the others left, she would have to endure another period of hardship.

The next morning, a minibus took everyone to town. After getting off the bus, Guiling said to everyone, "Now you're free to do as you please. Today is the monthly market day in Daishan Town. The market is more than twice the size of usual, and there are even more goods. You can choose some local specialties to take home. You'll see soon enough that although our place isn't as famous as Zhouzhuang or Wuzhen, its water town features and customs are just as good. We'll meet here again at 11 o'clock, then drive to Huangcao Lake and have a whole fish feast on a boat. In the afternoon, we'll take a boat to the island in the middle of the lake and circle the lake. Then we'll return to Pengjia Village. After dinner, we'll have a get-together with the villagers."

The crowd gradually dispersed. Guiling walked alone to the cultural center, where Li Wenbo was writing in his studio.

"Wenbo."

"Guiling?"

Li Wenbo put down his pen, came over, and grabbed Guiling's left arm, hurting her.

Guiling pulled her hand away from Wenbo's, rubbing her left arm with her right hand, and said, "What else do you practice with that hand besides writing? It's so strong."

"I'm sorry,"

Wenbo said, "I was just too happy and didn't know my own strength."

"You were happy? You've already forgotten about me, haven't you?"

"How could I? Why didn't you call when you got back?"

"I was on a business trip, a large group of us together."

Guiling leaned closer to Wenbo and pinched his arm hard.

"Ouch!"

Wenbo cried out, looking around. Luckily, no one else was in the studio.

"Did you miss me?"

Guiling looked at him seductively.

"Of course I missed you. I haven't been able to concentrate on writing for a long time since you left."

"Do you have any other women now?"

Wenbo chuckled, lowering his head without answering.

"I know you have women. I'm going somewhere now, I'll call you in a bit, then you can come over."

Guiling didn't wait for his reply and turned to leave. She booked a room at the Daishan Hotel in the town center and then called Wenbo to come over.

When Wenbo arrived, Guiling had already taken a shower. Wenbo knew she was clean, so he also took a shower, put on his hotel bathrobe, and came over to hug Guiling and kiss her. Their kisses were always long, their tongues locked together, without any change, lasting for more than ten minutes without moving. Guiling's body, however, was changing. First, her breasts, pressed against Wenbo's chest, felt hot and numb, then pleasure spread throughout her body, gradually concentrating in her lower abdomen, moving down a line to her triangle below. It was like a depression, where all the energy in her body flowed like water. They ended their kiss at the same time, threw off their bathrobes, and Wenbo's hard will entered the cave that Guiling longed for, flowing freely like a calligraphy brush.

Perhaps because she grew up in the countryside, Guiling was most attracted to the temperament of scholars. Zhigang had initially attracted her with his student-like demeanor. Wenbo's pure elegance and arrogance captivated her.

Guiling reached her climax. She felt like she was floating on clouds, the sun burning her skin, threatening to melt her. She opened her mouth and screamed with all her might. She couldn't hear her own voice, only feeling herself floating happily on clouds, shouting at the top of her lungs, the whole world beneath her.

Wenbo's ink ran out. He lay on top of Guiling, letting her fall from the clouds back to the ground, back onto the bed.

"How many days are you staying this time?"

Wenbo asked.

"I'm leaving tomorrow. It's a group activity, and I'm the leader, so I can't go off on my own."

"Can you come again tonight?"

"No. That's why I'm looking for an opportunity to come now."

"When will I see you again?"

"I don't know."

Guiling sat up and said, "By the way, I'm hosting a party in Pengjia Village tonight. You should join us."

"A party? I can bring a few performances, like dances and instrumental music."

"That's great. I was just worried about not having enough quality performances. Don't come back tonight, stay at different villagers' homes. You can stay at my house."

"Stay at your house? How can you stay with your in-laws?"

"You stay in the guest room on the third floor, I'll stay on the second floor, and your in-laws will stay on the first floor. I'll sneak into your room tonight."

"What if your in-laws find out?"

"They go to bed early, they won't find out."

"What if they do find out?"

"No 'what ifs'. You know what? I like this kind of adventurous thrill."

Wenbo flicked Guiling's nose: "So you have this kind of mentality. Okay, I'll satisfy your adventurous desire this once. If you get caught, I'll say you seduced me."

“Okay. Then I’ll have Dazhi divorce me and marry you.”

“Hehe. You’re so clever, you never lose out.” 02-12

Chapter 019 A Rare Friend

Xinyi didn’t go to town with the group. She led Cunmei, Hongxia, and others to arrange the venue. They set up a stage at the threshing ground at the village entrance, brought in sound and lighting equipment from the provincial capital, and spent the whole afternoon installing it, finally finishing before dinner.

The minibus returned to Pengjia Village, and the women went back to their homes for dinner. The celebration was supposed to start at 8 pm, but before 7 pm, villagers began to slowly make their way to the threshing ground with their stools. In rural areas, activities are mostly individual; such collective activities are very rare, almost nonexistent. In the past, film crews would occasionally come to show movies, setting up a screen on the threshing ground. Farmers from villages miles around would come to watch. When the threshing ground couldn't accommodate everyone, some would go to the back of the screen, onto the field ridges and hillsides, to see the reverse side of the film. Two groups of people would gather on opposite sides, with roughly equal numbers on each side. Sometimes, when new films were shown, such as the remake of *Crossing the River to Reconnoiter*, or the newly filmed *Little Soldier Zhang Ga* and *The Shining Red Star*, which everyone hadn't seen before and wanted to see first, the back of the wide-open screen would be far more crowded than the front. Since the reform and opening up, and the contracting of farmland to individual households, communes have been changed to townships, and brigades to administrative villages, these services for farmers have been abandoned. Today's celebration was a novel experience for the villagers, with some families eating early to secure a good spot on the threshing floor.

Even before the celebration began, the threshing floor was already bustling with activity. The host was Guiling. She wore a red cheongsam with small floral patterns on the left chest, highlighting her beautiful figure and festive, lovely face. As she walked onto the stage, the villagers murmured, "Look, even rural women can dress so beautifully, she outshines the city folks."

"Tch, she's a city woman now."

Guiling walked to the microphone and announced loudly, "Respected guests from afar, respected elders and fellow villagers, good evening!"

A round of enthusiastic applause erupted. As the applause subsided, Guiling continued, "The Neighboring Villages' Night Urban-Rural Joint Celebration now begins!"

Another round of applause followed.

"I am a member of Pengjia Village. First of all, on behalf of Pengjia Village and the surrounding farmers, I would like to extend a warm welcome and high respect to our distinguished guests who have traveled a long way! I am also a member of the inspection team, so on behalf of the neighboring village company and all the guests, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the villagers who have warmly received us! Tonight's party is a small gift from the neighboring village company to our guests and villagers, and we hope you enjoy it. Okay, now let's begin the first program, a small instrumental ensemble of 'Joyful Celebration' performed by the town's cultural station."

The instrumental ensemble consisted of only three people: two women and one man. The women played the erhu and pipa, and the man played the flute. "Joyful Celebration" is a favorite tune among farmers, full of the joy of harvest and the festive atmosphere. They then performed "Golden Snake Dance" and "Thunder in the Drought."

The small band left the stage amidst applause, and Gui Ling walked onto the stage and said, "Thank you to Li Wenbo, the head of the Daishan Town Cultural Station, for the performance. Now, please welcome Head Li to the stage and meet everyone."

Li Wenbo took a microphone and came onto the stage, saying as he walked, "Hello everyone! I am Li Wenbo, the head of the town's cultural station. If anyone wants to learn calligraphy, painting, or music, please come to me."

Gui Ling said, "I have an announcement to make. To enrich the leisure activities of the villagers, especially those who have left behind while working away from home, the town's cultural station has established a cooperative relationship with our neighboring village's cooperative. We will be setting up calligraphy, instrumental music, and dance classes in Pengjia Village. The musicians who just performed were our instrumental music teachers, and there will be a dance performance later, also by teachers from the cultural station. From now on, we will invite them to Pengjia Village once a week to teach everyone. Is that alright?"

"Great!"

The audience applauded happily again.

"Let me make one thing clear,"

Guiling continued, "regardless of whether you're a member of the neighboring village cooperative or not, you're welcome to sign up. The treatment is the same as for members. All expenses—tuition, processing fees, instrument purchase costs, teachers' food, lodging, and transportation—will be covered by the neighboring village cooperative."

"Wow!"

The applause below grew even louder.

Someone shouted from the crowd, "I'm signing up!"

Guiling smiled and said, "In a hurry, aren't you? Even if you're in a hurry, we won't accept registrations today. Tomorrow you can contact Jia Xinyi, the head of the neighboring village cooperative, to sign up. Okay, that's enough. The next performance will be 'Entering the New Era' sung by Wang Yanli, a member of the inspection team."

To the villagers, Wang Yanli's singing was almost indistinguishable from that of a professional singer. These wealthy women had plenty of practice opportunities, and many sang very well.

The third performer, to everyone's surprise, was Jinghui, a nun from Baiyun Temple.

Xinyi had to put in a lot of effort to persuade Jinghui to participate in the evening's performance. However, she stated that she wouldn't sing popular songs, only Buddhist songs, and at most one more serious song closely related to Buddhism. Xinyi had no choice but to agree.

Jinghui, still dressed in her monastic robes, retained her feminine charm, gracefully walking to the front of the stage. She first bowed to the audience with her hands clasped in prayer, then, maintaining this posture with her eyes slightly lowered, sang a Buddhist song. Her voice, unusually deep for a woman, combined with years of practice, made the religious song deeply moving and poignant. Many of the farmers were Buddhist, but even those who weren't were touched by the song, and thunderous applause filled the air.

After singing two more Buddhist songs, Jinghui still couldn't leave the stage, so she sang a secular song, "Farewell," with lyrics by Master Hongyi: "Outside the long pavilion, along the ancient road, fragrant grasses stretch to the horizon; the evening breeze brushes the willows, the flute's mournful sound, the setting sun beyond the mountains..."

Amidst waves of applause, Jinghui finally stepped down from the stage. Guiling, who was approaching from the stage, noticed tears glistening in her eyes.

The atmosphere of the evening was very lively. Next, Li Cunmei sang two songs, which were also well-received. After Li Wenbo's dance performance, several guests eagerly wanted to go on stage, none of whom had registered beforehand. Guiling also let them perform.

The party was even more successful than expected. Originally scheduled to end at 10 o'clock, it dragged on until 11 o'clock. The crowd reluctantly dispersed, and it took a long time for everyone to leave. A few people stayed behind to help Xinyi and the others dismantle the stage and sound system.

To avoid suspicion, Guiling took Li Wenbo and the male flute player to her home, giving them each a room. She secretly slipped into Wenbo's room and spent the night intimately with him.

The next morning, the inspection team bid farewell to the villagers and left in a minibus. Xinyi and Cunmei watched the minibus drive across the reservoir dam, over the mountain ridge, and disappear into the fields.

When Xinyi returned to Zhigang's house, several women came to her, wanting to sign up for dance lessons. Xinyi wrote down their names and phone numbers, telling them to wait for notification, and that the first lesson would start next week. Then two more women came to sign up for calligraphy and painting lessons. Xinyi said to Cunmei, "This will make our cooperative's work much easier."

Several women, having already registered, lingered in the main room watching Xinyi register the next group. When Xinyi had a moment to herself, one woman said, "Xinyi, you've done a great job. We're all willing to participate. Before, we played mahjong every day, and it always felt empty and boring. We're only in our twenties; we don't want to waste our lives like this."

Xinyi looked at the form in her hand and said, "Your name is Wu Qiuzhen. You're right, there's a lot we need to do. Playing mahjong and cards every day is turning us into old ladies. Once our cooperative is established, you can all come to work and earn the same salary as city people. Even if you play mahjong on weekends, it will be more fulfilling than it is now."

"Really? Then we'll be working like the men in Shanghai!"

"Yes. Of course, the salary will be lower than in Shanghai, but if you do the math, the expenses outside are higher, and you can't take care of your family. The income difference won't be that much."

"Then can my husband come back to work?"

“Of course. We welcome people who work in Shanghai back to work. They have work experience and have adapted to Shanghai's management style; they'll all be key personnel when they come back.”

Another woman who came with Wu Qiuzhen said, “Qiuzhen, if you miss your man, just call him back.”

Qiuzhen retorted, “You don't miss your man? I saw you eating cucumbers in the bedroom, do you think I don't know?”

This made the other woman blush, spit at her, and fall silent.

Seeing that Zhigang's parents weren't home, Xinyi said, “I'll show you a few things.”

She went upstairs and brought down a small, exquisite leather suitcase from the bedroom. She opened it and took out the items one by one. Several women blushed at the sight; they could easily recognize that the device looked exactly like the one on a man's body.

Cunmei said, "Now you know what this is for, right? City people have so many tricks up their sleeves. This is much better than a cucumber."

Qiuzhen blushed and asked, "Cunmei, have you used it?"

Cunmei nodded with a mysterious expression, picked one up, turned it on, and gestured, saying, "Let me show you."

Qiuzhen quickly shook her head and looked away, but her eyes remained fixed on the device, watching the moving part rotate.

Xinyi took the device and said, "There's nothing to be embarrassed about; it's a woman's right. What's there to be afraid of? One of you go stand at the door and watch; if anyone comes in, just let me know. I'll demonstrate for you."

Xinyi sat on the recliner that Zhigang's father often sat on in the main room, lifted her skirt, took off her underwear, and slowly inserted the device. The women could see Xinyi's pleasure; they wanted to try it themselves, but were too embarrassed.

Xinyi took out the equipment and asked, "Who wants to try it?"

Cunmei pushed Qiuzhen forward, but Qiuzhen shrank back, refusing to do it. Xinyi said, "I'll give each of you one; you can try it when you get back. There are instructions if you don't know how to use it. If you still don't understand, come and ask me, and I'll teach you."

The inspection team returned to Shanghai that afternoon.

Guiling put her luggage in the office and went downstairs to the guild hall. It was the busiest time at the guild hall, and Guiling hadn't been there for several days and was really missing it. It wasn't that she was worried; with Wang Weifeng there, she felt at ease, but she just couldn't help wanting to come and see. Several people were drinking tea in the hall, and a man sitting alone caught Guiling's attention. She recognized him as Liu Weiqiang, chairman of Changchuan Logistics Group.

Rather than saying Liu Weiqiang was the most loyal customer of the neighboring village guild hall, it would be more accurate to say he was Guiling's die-hard fan. In fact, he had already begun pursuing Guiling. And back when he attended that "mistress forum" and witnessed Guiling's superb crisis management skills, he had already developed feelings for her.

Gui Ling was about to leave, but Liu Weiqiang had already looked up and seen her, so she went over and said, "Hello, Chairman Liu, it's only been a few days, but it feels like ages."

Liu Weiqiang's company was very close, within walking distance. Whenever he wasn't on a business trip, he would come to the neighboring village clubhouse for lunch, a nap, and a foot bath. The clubhouse was usually closed to the public at lunchtime, but it was an exception for him. The clubhouse had six foot bath beds, not open to the public, but reserved for clients like Liu Weiqiang, each with their own foot bath tub. Gui Ling saw him every day, and after a few days apart, it really felt like a long time.

"A day apart feels like three autumns,"

Chairman Liu gestured for her to sit down opposite him. "Since we've met again, let's chat for a while. "

Gui Ling sat down, and Liu Weiqiang gestured for the waiter to make her a cup of tea.

"Gui Ling, did you take a large group of rich women back to your hometown this time?"

"You already know?"

"Who am I? This neighboring village clubhouse is my home. Just ask the waiter."

"Who told you? Leaking company information, I'm firing him,"

Gui Ling joked.

"Don't you dare fire him,"

Liu Weiqiang said with a smile. "If you fire him, I'll immediately hire him as a department manager in my company. I was hesitant to poach him because of you, but you just happened to be there to give me a push."

"Looks like you have ulterior motives,"

Guiling was used to his banter. "You're always eyeing my employees; I guess I need to be careful. What else are you eyeing?"

"Don't you know? I'm most interested in you."

Liu Weiqiang looked meaningfully into Guiling's eyes.

Guiling realized she had made a mistake, blushed slightly, and couldn't help but reveal a hint of coquettishness. Liu Weiqiang admired her slightly embarrassed yet defiant expression, his heart fluttering.

“Weiqiang,”

Guiling said calmly, “I’ve told you many times, do you think I’m the kind of person who would be a mistress?”

“How could I let you be a mistress?”

“But I won’t get a divorce.”

“To be honest, I won’t get a divorce either. But besides being a mistress, can’t we have any other kind of relationship? Like lovers, confidants.”

“Can we become confidants?”

Guiling looked at Weiqiang with her alluring eyes.

“At least I think it’s the most likely compared to others. Guiling, this is what I think: in life, you can only do two things, which are finding two people: one is finding yourself, and the other is finding a confidant of the opposite sex.” Guiling

heard this view for the first time and couldn’t help but become interested, asking, “Have you found them?”

“I can only say I’ve found half of myself. With my business so big, if I hadn’t found myself, people would say I’m being pretentious, but I really don’t like doing business. I studied Chinese literature and dreamed of becoming a writer since I was a child, but by some twist of fate, I became an entrepreneur. As for a confidant of the opposite sex, of course you know I haven’t found one.”

“It seems that achieving these two things is very difficult for you. Even someone as successful as you has only achieved a quarter of it, which shows that those who succeed are extremely rare.”

"See, I told you you're my soulmate, and you immediately understood what I meant. I believe everyone has talent, everyone is capable. Whether they work hard, change jobs, or start their own business, they're all searching for what they're most willing to do and what they're best at. That's finding yourself. If you can achieve that, you've succeeded in life. As for a soulmate of the opposite sex, it's about mutual understanding and insight, being both kindred spirits and sexual partners. The ideal situation is marriage, but the probability of that is negligible, and we shouldn't have such expectations of our spouses. If you can achieve that, you've also succeeded in life."

"What if you could achieve both?"

"That's a super life. It's something you can only dream of. As you said, I'm already a successful person that countless people envy, and I've only achieved a quarter of the success of a perfect life, which shows how difficult it is and proves that it's something you can only dream of. So, I'm not forcing anything, I just feel that you have the potential to become my soulmate. If you really are, it will happen without forcing it; if not, forcing it won't help."

"Since that's the case, why are you still bothering me? If she's your soulmate, then of course she is; there's no need to force it."

"But I have to work hard to find her. Waiting passively will only lead to missing out on a soulmate. Most of my time and energy should be spent on this search. If I find her and then die immediately, that would be a successful life. 'If I hear the Way in the morning, I can die content in the evening.'"

Gui Ling smiled and said, "I don't want you to die right away. So you'd better take your time."

Wei Qiang also laughed, pointing at Gui Ling's nose and saying, "I like your quick wit. Ever since that mistress incident, I've admired you. As long as you give me a chance to talk, whether we become soulmates is up to fate."

"That's no problem. Besides, I've already given you many opportunities, isn't today one?"

"I want to ask you out alone. Not here; your subordinates are everywhere, and it's during your work hours. Let's go somewhere where we can both completely relax and talk freely. Actually, any bar will do, as long as you're willing to come with me."

"Sure."

Guiling was already somewhat swayed by his words, at least agreeing with him. What more could one ask for in life than a true confidant? Giving him a try wasn't a bad idea; perhaps he truly was her soulmate. "Let's find an opportunity to have tea together."

"Why wait for an opportunity? Let's go now, shall we?"

"No. You know I just got back, and there are still many things at home that need my attention. Besides, I'm tired."

"Okay. Today isn't a good day. How about we talk on the phone tomorrow?"

"Sure."

Guiling looked at her with sparkling eyes and said, "I hope you're my confidant."

"Guiling,"

Weiqiang was happy to finally have a chance and became more talkative, "Actually, I think I'm more likely to be your confidant than you are to me."

"Isn't confidantship mutual? What's this about 'I'm yours and you're not mine'?"

"Yes, it's mutual. But there's always a sequence, or rather, a difference in strength. It can't be completely the same. One person understands the other a little more, and the other understands a little less. That's normal."

"Then why do you say the probability of you becoming my confidant is higher?"

"You can tell from the fact that I'm pursuing you. It started with the mistress incident. I started paying attention to you, getting to know you, and understanding you. Of course, it's more likely that I'll become your confidant. But you're still rejecting me. How could you possibly understand me? Let alone be my confidant?"

Guiling was speechless. She had always admired intelligent men, and Weiqiang was beginning to earn her respect.

Just then, Wang Weifeng ran in and said, "Sister Guiling, something bad has happened!"

"What happened?"

"Xiaoshuang has run to the roof and is trying to jump."

"Quick, let's go!"

Weiqiang and Guiling ran out together and stood in the courtyard. Everyone in the clubhouse had run out and were looking up at a girl standing on the roof. This building used to be a factory, and although it was only five stories high, it was taller than a typical ten-story residential building. The ground floor alone had been divided into three floors.

Guiling said to Weifeng, "Get a few men to stand down there. If she jumps, even if they break their arms, they have to catch her."

Guiling then said to Cai Mingli beside her, "Take a few male waiters and bring down some mattresses to stack up and catch her."

Then she said to Weiqiang, "Come with me."

By this time, she had developed a kind of trust in Weiqiang and felt that his presence would be helpful. They went up the stairs to the top floor and saw Xiaoshuang's back, standing on the edge of the roof, looking like she might jump at any moment.

Guiling walked slowly forward, calling softly, "Xiaoshuang, I'm here. Can you tell me what's wrong?"

Xiaoshuang turned around and, seeing them approaching, shouted, "Don't come any closer. If you come any closer, I'll jump!"

Guiling and Weiqiang stopped. Guiling continued, "Xiaoshuang, whatever you're going through, tell me, okay? We'll figure something out together."

"You can't solve it. I don't want to live anymore."

Xiaoshuang's voice was calm, even somewhat cold, as if she had already made up her mind to calmly face death.

Chapter 020 Saving Xiaoshuang

Weiqiang knew Xiaoshuang and liked this girl very much. He often chatted with her while drinking tea and knew that she was also surnamed Liu and was from Xuzhou, Jiangsu. She was usually quiet, a little shy, with a round apple face and two dimples. She would blush whenever he joked with her. She was efficient and obedient, and Guiling usually liked her quite a bit.

Weiqiang patted Guiling's shoulder, indicating that he would speak.

"Xiaoshuang, I know why you did this."

Weiqiang stood in front of Guiling.

Xiao Shuang looked somewhat surprised. She had a good impression of this guest; he was kind, undemanding, and liked to joke with her. However, his claim that he knew why he wanted to jump made her hesitate.

Wei Qiang wanted to capitalize on her hesitation, and continued, "Xiao Shuang, you know I usually enjoy chatting with you, but do you know why?"

Xiao Shuang was surprised again. This person didn't try to comfort her, but always said unexpected things, which distracted her somewhat.

"Because I once attempted suicide for a girl who looked just like you."

This time, even Gui Ling was surprised.

Wei Qiang took two steps forward, then stopped, saying, "She was very lovely, with a personality similar to yours. She didn't like to talk much, but her inner world was very rich. But because she didn't talk much, it was difficult for others to understand her, including me. I loved her very much; we were in love for over a year, but she suddenly abandoned me. I couldn't bear it, so I took a whole bottle of sleeping pills. I lay on my bed in the dormitory waiting for the sleeping pills to take effect, and suddenly I regretted it."

Xiao Shuang listened intently, and even Gui Ling was stunned.

“Actually, in that short moment, I thought about so many things, so many that I thought about all the major events in my short life. I don’t know how my mind worked so fast. I suddenly thought: What if I wronged her? I didn’t even listen to her explanation, I didn’t give her that chance. I thought, she loves me so much, she couldn’t have fallen for someone else so quickly, there must be a reason. So, how can I die without finding that reason? I should die knowing why. It’s not too late to die after I find the reason.”

As Weiqiang spoke, he moved forward little by little, almost imperceptibly, until he was only a few meters away from Xiaoshuang. He deliberately made gestures as he spoke, making his hand movements slightly larger, so that when he suddenly tried to save her, Xiaoshuang would have less time to react: “So, I struggled to get up.” The medicine had taken effect; I was so dazed and confused I couldn't make my own decisions. I managed to walk to the door and banged my head against it repeatedly until I collapsed. Luckily, the door to the dormitory across the hall was open. Several classmates heard the banging, knocked, but no one answered. Sensing something was wrong, they broke down the door and took me to the hospital, where I was saved.

Weiqiang took another half-step, and Xiaoshuang's eyes suddenly fixed on his feet. He knew she was alert, so he stopped moving and continued, "Before I was even discharged, I knew things weren't what I imagined at all. It gave me a real fright. I'm so glad I didn't die so I could find out the truth."

Weiqiang's last few steps were a lateral movement. He didn't get close to Xiaoshuang; he was still a few meters away, but he was already near the edge of the roof, almost parallel to her. The moment had come. Before Xiaoshuang could understand what was going on, he suddenly leaped forward, grabbing her waist with his right hand. The two of them crashed onto the inside of the roof and rolled several times.

At this moment, Guiling was so nervous she could hardly breathe. Seeing that they had safely rolled to the ground, she ran forward and hugged Xiaoshuang. Xiaoshuang threw herself into her arms and burst into tears.

Weiqiang stood up, brushed the dust off his clothes, and said, "Let her cry for a while. You have to stay with her today; don't leave her alone."

"Thank you!"

Guiling looked at him gratefully, then comforted Xiaoshuang again.

Seeing that Xiaoshuang had been rescued, Wang Weifeng, Cai Mingli, and several policemen rushed up. They escorted Guiling and Xiaoshuang downstairs. Guiling told everyone to leave, and asked Weifeng to open a room on the second floor. She and Xiaoshuang went in and closed the door.

"Okay,"

Guiling said to Xiaoshuang, "Now it's just the two of us. You rest for a bit, and we'll talk again when you feel better."

She helped Xiaoshuang take off her coat, let her lie on the bed, and covered her with a blanket. Xiaoshuang closed her eyes; whether she could fall asleep or not, what she needed now was peace and quiet.

Guiling sent Liu Weiqiang a text message: "Thank you!"

The reply came quickly: "Saving a life is better than building a seven-story pagoda. To receive a thank you from you is enough."

Guiling then texted him: "I can't stay with you today. I'll continue listening to your suicide story another day."

The reply was: "Okay. It's a deal."

Xiaoshuang fell asleep, breathing evenly in her sleep. Guiling then leaned against the other bed and fell asleep as well. When she woke up, Xiaoshuang was still asleep. She then texted Weifeng, asking him to arrange for food to be sent up for two people.

A moment later, there was a knock at the door. Guiling opened it, and Weifeng personally delivered two boxed lunches. He placed the lunches on the table and asked, "Sister Guiling, how is she now?"

"She's fine, she's asleep."

"I'll go downstairs now."

"Okay."

Weifeng closed the door and left. At this moment, Xiaoshuang woke up, opened her eyes and looked around. Seeing Guiling, she sat up and called out, "President Zhang."

Guiling knew that Xiaoshuang didn't usually interact with her much and was reserved, so she came over and sat down on the edge of the bed and asked, "How are you? Did you rest well?"

Xiaoshuang nodded, her bright eyes looking at Guiling as if she had a question.

"Do you know what foolish thing you did today?"

Xiaoshuang nodded again.

"If you had jumped, you would have nothing now. Do you regret it?"

Xiaoshuang nodded again.

"Okay, that's enough. Let's eat first."

Guiling brought over one boxed lunch and let Xiaoshuang sit on the bed to eat. She herself began to eat the other boxed lunch.

Xiaoshuang was hungry and ate the boxed lunch clean. Guiling asked, "Is that enough? If not, ask them to send another one."

Xiaoshuang said, "It's enough."

"Xiaoshuang,"

Guiling finished eating, put the empty lunchbox into a plastic bag, tied it tightly, and threw it into the trash can, saying, "Although I don't talk to you much, I usually pay attention to you. You have a good job and are hardworking. Today, don't treat me like the general manager, just think of me as your aunt or older sister, let's chat casually. Okay?"

Xiaoshuang nodded.

"Okay. Can you tell me why I did this today?"

Tears streamed down Xiaoshuang's face as she pouted and said, "I'm pregnant."

"Pregnant? Who is the father of the child?"

"Zheng Tao."

"Who is Zheng Tao?"

"He's my boyfriend. He doesn't want me anymore. Waaah—"

Xiaoshuang burst into tears.

"Just because of this? Why didn't he want you anymore?"

"I don't know. Waaah—"

"Okay, when you encounter a problem, you have to find a way to solve it. There's no problem that can't be solved, understand? Will jumping off a building solve the problem? No. Now, the first thing is, do you want this child?"

"I don't know."

"Don't say you don't know. You have to make a decision. Yes or no."

"If my mom finds out I'm pregnant, she'll beat me to death."

"Then you can't keep it. It's simple, I'll go to the hospital with you tomorrow."

"I'm scared." "

What are you scared of? It's okay, I'm with you. Abortion is a simple procedure, nothing to be afraid of. Now, the second question is, do you still want to find a boyfriend?"

"Yes. I came to Shanghai with him, and he just dumped me here and didn't care."

"It seems you're still very dependent on your boyfriend. Put this matter aside for now, get the abortion first. Don't worry, I'll pay for it, I'll give you time off from work, and I won't deduct your salary. You can come back to work after you recover."

Xiao Shuang said with tears in her eyes, "Thank you, Mr. Zhang."

The next day, Gui Ling drove Xiao Shuang to the hospital for an abortion. The doctor said it was almost three months along, and if they didn't do it soon, it might be too late. On the way back, she thought she needed to entrust Xiao Shuang to someone's care. Back at the club, she helped Xiao Shuang to her guest room to sleep, asked Mingli to arrange for the kitchen to prepare chicken soup for Xiao Shuang, and then went to Lan Hua's office.

"Lan Hua, do me a favor."

"What favor?" "

Xiao Shuang, who jumped off the building yesterday, I took her to have an abortion, and she needs a place to recuperate after childbirth. You know there are a lot of people and gossips at the club, could you arrange a place for her?" "

Let her go to Xiao Cui's place. Xiao Cui has had an abortion before and knows how to do postpartum care. She also has a chef there, so it's convenient for her to cook whatever she wants."

"Okay. Then I'll leave it to you."

"Oh, General Manager Zhang is being too polite with me."

Xiao Cui's office had already moved in, right next to Lan Hua's. Lan Hua dialed the internal phone and asked Xiao Cui to come over. After hearing the whole story, Xiao Cui happily said, "No problem. Don't worry, Mr. Zhang, let Xiao Shuang stay with me. I'll make sure she's healthy and plump."

Gui Ling said, "Health is one thing. The key is to keep an eye on her, comfort her, and prevent her from having emotional fluctuations, lest she do something foolish again."

After arranging things for Xiao Shuang, Gui Ling returned to the clubhouse. Wei Feng said a guest wanted to see her. Gui Ling went to the tea room with Wei Feng. The guest was drinking tea and quickly stood up to invite her to sit down.

Gui Ling sat down opposite him, and the guest handed her a business card. The card read: Wang Changqing, Chairman of Changqing Materials Recycling Company. Guiling asked, "May I ask what kind of materials Mr. Wang's company deals in?"

"Everything, mainly scrap metal. Actually, I'm just a scrap collector."

"A scrap collector? And a big one at that?"

"Not really. The difference is, before I used to collect scrap by myself on a tricycle, now I have dozens of storefronts and several yards where I collect scrap from home."

Guiling sensed his accent was from the same hometown, so she asked, "Are you from Anhui?"

"Yes. I've farmed since I was little and have no education. Now I'm older and no one wants to hire me, so I have to collect scrap to support myself."

"Impressive. You can run a company from scrap collecting, that's impressive. May I ask what you need?"

"I wanted to ask how the girl who jumped off the building yesterday is doing?"

"She's fine. I've arranged for her to rest."

"I have an idea, and I'd like to ask for your help, Mr. Zhang."

"Go ahead."

"I have a daughter in Shanghai. I came to Shanghai to work because I wanted to see her, but we haven't been able to reunite. Yesterday, seeing that girl reminded me of my daughter. I want to help her, ideally by taking her in as my goddaughter. Can you help with that?"

“I can help with this. But we need her consent first. I’ll ask her once she’s recovered.”

“Okay. Thank you for your trouble.”

Guiling secretly sized him up. He was in his fifties, dark-skinned, and slightly hunched over—clearly a farmer. You could easily mistake him for a scrap collector, but no one would believe he was a chairman. Yet, his frequent visits to the clubhouse clearly indicated he was wealthy. Guiling thought of Shen Qiong’s search for her father; could it be him? He was also from Anhui. However, his surname was wrong.

"Chairman Wang, after Shuang'er goes to work, you should talk to her first, get to know each other, and then bring up the matter of adopting a goddaughter. What do you think?"

"Okay. Okay. I'll do whatever you say."

"Chairman Wang, I have one more question for you."

"Go ahead."

"You just said you came to Shanghai to find your daughter, did you find her?"

"I found her, but I can't acknowledge her."

"Why?"

"I'm sorry. This is a family matter, and it's not convenient for me to say."

"Okay, then I won't ask. Do you know about your daughter's current situation?"

"I know a little, she's doing quite well. That puts my mind at ease."

On Shuang'er's first day back at work after recovering, Guiling asked her to serve Wang Changqing. Wang Changqing asked her to put down the tea set and sit opposite him for a chat. Shuang'er looked at Guiling beside her, and Guiling nodded before she dared to sit down.

After Xiaoshuang finished work, Guiling called her to her office, asked her to sit on the sofa, and asked, "What did Chairman Wang talk to you about?"

Since recovering, Xiaoshuang had developed a closeness and dependence on Guiling, and had started talking to her more: "He just asked me where I was from, who my family was, and if I had any difficulties, to contact him if I needed help."

"That's all?"

"He also told me he made his fortune collecting scrap, and that he has a daughter in Shanghai, but they've never been able to meet."

“Xiaoshuang, this Chairman Wang also talked to me. He wants to take you as his goddaughter. Think it over carefully. Are you willing or not? Tell me when you decide.”

Xiaoshuang stared wide-eyed at Guiling, who laughed at her stare and said, “Don’t stare at me like that, as if I’m going to sell you. It’s up to you whether you’re willing or not. I think this Chairman Wang is a decent person, still has the look and style of a farmer. He wants a goddaughter to replace his daughter because he can’t be close to her, so he can have some comfort in his old age. But as I said, it’s up to you to decide.”

Seeing that Xiaoshuang didn’t speak, Guiling said, “Don’t rush to decide. Recognizing a stranger as a godfather is no small matter. I’ll investigate this person’s character. You should go back first.”

Xiaoshuang was still living in Xiaocui’s dormitory. She used to share a room with several waitresses, but now she didn’t want to go back to live there, and Xiaocui didn’t want her to move out either. Now she and Xiaocui had become good friends and could talk about anything. Xiaocui was about ten years older than her, with much more experience and knowledge, which made her feel at ease.

Back in the dormitory, Xiao Shuang told Xiao Cui about it. Xiao Cui said, "Sister Guiling is right, let's not make a decision yet. This Chairman Wang is pitiful; he went to Shanghai to work just to see his daughter and accidentally became a millionaire. But this isn't what he wanted; he wanted his daughter, not money. I'll go with you to meet Chairman Wang next time." The

day after Zhigang returned from his hometown, Xia Qing called him as soon as he got to work: "Zhigang, you're back from your hometown?"

"Yes. I arrived yesterday afternoon."

"Let's meet; we need to discuss something."

Zhigang said, "Then come over; I'll treat you to dinner tonight."

As soon as Xia Qing entered Zhigang's office, she hugged him, her small hand grabbing his penis, and said, "Let's not talk about business now; let's get things done first."

Since experiencing climax, Xia Qing's desire had increased day by day, but her husband was not only unresponsive but also wanted a divorce. The original sexual routine between the couple had been broken. Zhigang was busy with work, traveling to Guizhou and Anhui on business trips, and they hadn't been able to meet, causing her great torment.

Zhigang said, "This won't do. Let's go to my room."

They arrived at Zhigang's apartment, and in the elevator, Xia Qing grabbed Zhigang's hard penis again. Knowing there were no security cameras in the elevator, Zhigang slipped his hand inside her clothes, kneading her full, soft breasts. His other hand moved from Xia Qing's thigh to her upper body, discovering she wasn't wearing a bra, thinking, "This woman has learned from Yuqin; she doesn't even wear a bra."

The elevator stopped on the 18th floor, the doors opened, but they didn't realize it, continuing to fondle each other. Xia Qing unzipped Zhigang's pants and bent down to suck on them. It wasn't until the elevator suddenly started moving again and began to descend that they realized they were going down, quickly withdrawing their hands and standing still. The elevator reached the first floor, and a woman entered with a small dog. The dog barked at the spot where Zhigang's zipper was open, which silenced the woman. The woman and dog went down on the 8th floor, and the elevator rose again to the 18th floor.

They laughed and squeezed into the room, then leaned against the door. Xia Qing had already pulled down Zhigang's pants. Zhigang lifted her legs and thrust inside her. Xia Qing immediately showed a comfortable expression, moaning softly with pleasure. She hadn't had sex for months. She hadn't had a problem going without for the past few years, but now she wanted it after just a few days. For the past few months, she had often blamed herself for developing orgasms, making herself suffer so much. But now she thought, thankfully she had experienced the ultimate pleasure, otherwise her life would be too incomplete.

Zhigang carried Xia Qing towards the bedroom, each step a thrust, each step bringing her waves of pleasure. She hugged Zhigang's neck, kissing him happily. Zhigang placed her on the edge of the bed, sitting down, and then thrust into her while standing, each time reaching the deepest point, she felt it against her uterine wall. Suddenly, she felt a rush of heat, her whole body convulsing, losing control and feeling nothing. Only that part of her body existed, only the churning of his penis inside her was her entire life. She couldn't help but scream, releasing all the energy of her life, desperately resisting Zhigang's intense and relentless attacks...

Her senses gradually returned, knowing that the jade pillar was still inside, firm and unyielding, and pleasure continued to surge like waves against the inner walls of the cave. This pleasure was clear and concrete, complementing and confirming the all-encompassing, intense, and oblivious pleasure she had just experienced. Zhigang moved her to the bed and lay down on top of her, only then managing to kiss her lips.

"Now tell me what you wanted to see me about."

"No. Let's talk about something else."

"You should have come to the countryside with us this time."

"Was it fun?"

"Of course it was fun. We stayed in farmers' homes, ate farm-style dishes and fish feasts, and even had a vegetarian banquet at Fuhu Temple. There was a rural-urban symposium in the evening. On the way back, all the women said that no trip had ever been as wonderful as this one."

"Zhigang, hurry up. Hurry up."

Xia Qing's climax came again. This time, Zhigang led her to the summit, her soul existing only in the cave between her legs, drifting on the mountaintop in the wind, gently rising and falling, suspended in mid-air. Her cries, like clouds and mist, enveloped the entire mountain, lifting up the whole world. Zhigang also reached the summit at the same time.

Xia Qing hugged Zhigang and said, "I'm telling you now, I'm divorced."

"Divorced? Didn't I tell you not to rush things, to drag it out?"

"I couldn't drag it out any longer. He was determined to divorce me. You know his personality, there's nothing I can do, so let it be. Anyway, I have you now, and being with you is a hundred times happier than being with him."

"But I can't replace your husband. Married life isn't just about sex."

"I've been married before, I understand that better than you. But it's not a one-person affair."

"Since it's a fait accompli, I won't say more. What are your plans for the future?"

"I'm not thinking about marriage right now, I need to think about work first. That's the second thing I wanted to discuss with you today."

"What are your thoughts?"

"To be a medical consultant and health care provider for the guests at the neighboring village's association."

"That's exactly what I wanted you to do. They also need a personal doctor, and by utilizing your resources in the medical field, organizing their checkups, and providing consultation services, your income will be high, and you'll also add a service to the neighboring village's association. It's a win-win-win situation."

“I think we can extend this service to migrant workers’ homes and schools for their children. For example, we can provide free medical checkups for migrant workers and set up clinics on construction sites and in schools. Migrant workers and their children are prone to bumps and bruises, and in case of sudden illness or serious injury, this service could even save a life.”

Zhigang kissed Xia Qing’s cheek and said, “Xia Qing, you’ve thought of everything so thoroughly. This way, resources are fully utilized. I’ve officially decided to hire you as the medical consultant for the neighboring village company.”

Xia Qing chuckled and asked, “How many times have you made this decision while holding a woman in bed?”

Zhigang rolled over and mounted Xia Qing again, saying, “I can’t remember. Every time I make a decision, I have to do it again.”

“Okay. Welcome back!”

Chapter 021 The Tragic Scraggly King

Wang Changqing is Shen Qiong's father. After being kicked out by Shen Qiong's mother, he realized his ex-wife was right; they couldn't let people know Shen Qiong's father was a migrant worker. So he dared not visit his daughter at her house anymore, and could only secretly go to Shen Qiong's school after school to watch her walk out and be picked up by her mother. After starting junior high, Shen Qiong no longer needed her mother to take her to and from school every day. Wang Changqing would follow her from a distance until she entered the residential area. He continued to watch over his daughter in this way when she was in high school.

These opportunities were actually rare. Wang Changqing worked as a laborer on a construction site, far from Shen Qiong's school. He could only take half a day off each month, take the bus to the school gate before school ended, wait for Shen Qiong to come out, and then follow her to the residential area. He wouldn't go into the residential area; he would only watch from the outside until Shen Qiong disappeared from sight before taking the bus back to the construction site.

After Shen Qiong went to university, Wang Changqing, because of his age and lack of skills, couldn't find work at construction sites and had to make a living by collecting scraps. His scavenging for trash at the university campus actually made it easier for him to keep an eye on his daughter. He often rummaged through the trash cans under her dormitory, trying to guess which trash she had thrown away.

Unexpectedly, his years of experience scavenging turned into expertise, and he later focused on collecting scrap metal. Eventually, he rented a storefront to buy scrap metal collected by others. His business grew larger and larger; he rented land in the suburbs to store scrap. He registered a company, hired a few people, and became a boss. Now he owns over a dozen scrap metal collection stations, two scrap metal storage yards, and a transport dock, inadvertently becoming a well-known scrap king in Shanghai.

He still follows his daughter, monitoring her development and activities. He no longer collects trash himself, but he still worries about being discovered following her, fearing that people will know a newspaper reporter has a scrap-collecting father—a more shameful situation than a migrant worker father. Recently, he discovered that Shen Qiong frequently stays at a migrant workers' home, so he often frequents the nearby village clubhouse. He spent 200,000 yuan a year to become a gold card member of the clubhouse.

That day, Xiao Shuang was about to jump off the building. Wang Changqing was drinking tea in the clubhouse when he ran out and saw Xiao Shuang standing on the edge of the roof, seemingly on the verge of falling. He was terribly worried and ran down to stand below. He was prepared to risk his life to catch her if she jumped. He felt like Xiao Shuang was his daughter. His own daughter, struggling alone in the world, would be just as pitiful as Xiao Shuang. After Xiao Shuang was rescued, he inquired about her from the other staff members at the clubhouse and felt a surge of sympathy. He wanted to adopt her as his goddaughter, both to help her and to comfort his own daughter, whom he felt was so close yet unacknowledged.

Gui Ling told Wang Changqing that Xiao Shuang only agreed to talk to him first. He happily said, "Of course, of course. I don't know this old man at all, and I wouldn't dare easily agree to be his goddaughter. I'll treat you to dinner; would you like to invite her over?"

Although Wang Changqing was now wealthy, he looked much the same as when he was collecting garbage—unkempt and slightly hunched. His clothes were better than before, but still very casual. Before dinner, he went upstairs to his guest room to take a shower, shave, and comb his hair, looking completely refreshed. He was 55 years old this year, but usually looked 60. With this makeover, he looked only in his 40s. He was quite handsome and charming in his youth; otherwise, Shen Qiong's mother, a sent-down youth from a big city, wouldn't have fallen in love with him and married him.

Downstairs in the restaurant's private room, Guiling was already waiting with Xiaocui and Xiaoshuang. Wang Changqing quickly said, "I'm sorry to have kept you waiting."

Guiling, seeing his refreshed appearance, was in high spirits and joked, "Oh, Chairman Wang, are you getting married today?"

Wang Changqing blushed and said embarrassedly, "I'll never be a groom again. I only want to be a good father, but I haven't even achieved that. I'm ashamed!" Guiling

introduced him, "This is Zhou Ying, my capable assistant, now the executive vice president of the neighboring village's catering company, in charge of operations." Wang Changqing

grasped Xiaocui's hands with both of his, saying, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Ms. Zhou. Please take care of me."

Wang Changqing's grip was too strong, and Xiaocui's hand hurt from his hold. She tried to pull away but couldn't, so she could only grimace and wait for him to let go.

Guiling saw this and said, "Chairman Wang, let go, you're making her cry."

Wang Changqing quickly released her hand, apologizing repeatedly, "I'm sorry. I'm sorry."

Xiaocui's eyes were indeed filled with tears from the pain. After Wang Changqing released her hand, she touched her right hand with her left and said softly, "It's alright."

Wang Changqing rubbed his hands apologetically and said, "Farmers have strong hands, please forgive me, Mr. Zhou."

Xiao Cui returned to normal and said, "Chairman Wang, please just call me Xiao Cui. Calling me Mr. Zhou makes me feel even more uncomfortable than when you grabbed my hand."

"Yes, yes,"

Gui Ling said, "We'll all call her Xiao Cui."

Wang Changqing looked at Xiao Cui's big eyes and fair face and said, "Okay, then I'll call you Xiao Cui. Don't call me Chairman Wang either, just call me Old Wang."

Gui Ling said, "Since we're all family now, we'll call you Old Wang. From now on, you can call me Gui Ling too."

"Okay."

Old Wang looked at them and called out to each of them, "Guiling, Xiaocui, Xiaoshuang. I'm so happy today. Each of you order a few dishes you like, it's on me."

Cold dishes were quickly served. Old Wang took an open bottle of strong-flavored liquor from the waiter, filled everyone's glasses, and raised his glass, saying, "Today's meal is to calm Xiaoshuang down. You scared me to death the other day. I'm toasting you. Drink this glass, and promise me you'll never do anything foolish again. Okay?"

Xiaoshuang stood up and said, "Thank you, Chairman Wang, and thank you, Sister Guiling and Sister Xiaocui. With you all by my side, I'll never do anything foolish again."

Old Wang said, "Call me Old Wang."

Guiling said, "You want to take her in as your goddaughter, how can you call me Old Wang?"

Old Wang said, "A daughter can call her father that too. Besides, it's not settled yet. Xiaoshuang, call me Old Wang."

Old Wang and Xiaoshuang stood with their glasses, and Xiaoshuang looked at Guiling, unable to bring herself to say it.

Guiling said, "Xiaoshuang, since Lao Wang said so, just call him."

Xiaoshuang blushed and softly called out, "Lao Wang,"

before downing her drink in one gulp.

Lao Wang happily downed his drink in one go and said, "That's right. Guiling, today I'll toast from the youngest to the oldest, the second toast is to Xiaocui. You don't mind, do you?"

"No. You should toast her first and apologize to her."

Xiaocui also blushed and finished her drink.

After drinking with Lao Wang, Guiling asked, "Lao Wang, you said you have a daughter in Shanghai, but you're afraid to acknowledge her. What's going on?"

Lao Wang briefly recounted his experience. Guiling asked, "You know where your daughter is, but you're afraid to acknowledge her, right?"

Lao Wang nodded and said, "For years, I've wanted to reunite with my daughter every day, but I'm afraid it will affect her future. I feel like I can't take it anymore. I have money now, and I want to spend it on my daughter, but I can't. I want to take in a goddaughter, do things for her, give her money, buy her things, and hear her call me 'Dad.' I could even have her befriend my daughter and communicate with her on my behalf. That would make me feel better."

Xiao Cui listened, tears welling up in her eyes. She felt Xiao Shuang's hand gripping hers tightly, knowing that Xiao Shuang was also moved.

Guiling said, "That's where you're wrong. You haven't really considered things from your daughter's perspective. She wants a father, she wants fatherly love, no matter what he does—a migrant worker or a scavenger, it doesn't matter. You should have reunited with your daughter long ago. Maybe she's been looking for you all along."

Old Wang lowered his head and said, "But I don't dare. The longer it goes on, the less I dare to reunite. I always feel guilty towards my daughter. I gave birth to her, but I couldn't raise her or care for her. Now that she's grown up, I haven't done anything for her. I don't deserve to be her father."

Xiaocui said, "Old Wang, let us help you reunite with your daughter. I believe your daughter definitely wants to acknowledge you."

Old Wang shook his head and said, "Alright, let's not talk about this anymore. Let's drink."

Guiling said, "Okay. Let's not talk about this. Old Wang, let me ask you, haven't you found a woman all these years?"

"In the past, I was only thinking about my daughter and didn't think about that. Now that I'm older, I think about it even less."

“You’re only in your fifties, not old. Old Wang, not to criticize you, but I think your mindset is wrong. You need to live for yourself. Living well and having a fulfilling life is the greatest care and support you can give your daughter. If one day your daughter recognizes you and sees you living such a miserable life, she will be sad too.”

Xiao Cui said, “Yes, Old Wang. For your daughter’s sake, you should live a more relaxed life. Gui Ling is right, you should find a woman and settle down.”

Old Wang looked at Xiao Cui and said, “To be honest, I don’t feel at home in the big city. When I was collecting scraps on the streets, I couldn’t find a woman even if I wanted to. Now, although my conditions are better, I still feel like a scrap collector. But I have my pride. City women don’t like me, and I don’t like them either. The women I like are afraid they won’t like me back.”

Gui Ling said, “Who have you taken a liking to? I’ll help you. As long as you’re willing, I guarantee I’ll find you a good woman.”

Old Wang shook his head and said, “There’s no rush. Let’s see how my daughter is.”

Xiao Shuang said softly, “Old… Wang.”

“Sigh.”

Old Wang looked at her happily.

"Do you really want to take me as your goddaughter?"

"Yes. I like you just by looking at you, little girl. Are you willing?"

"I have one condition."

"Go ahead."

"You have to acknowledge your daughter first, and then I'll agree to be your goddaughter."

Guiling said, "Silly child. If he acknowledges his daughter, what will you have to do with it?"

Old Wang said, "I'm afraid my daughter won't acknowledge me."

"As long as you acknowledge your daughter, I'll agree to be your goddaughter whether she acknowledges you or not."

Old Wang pondered without speaking. He worried that if his daughter didn't want to acknowledge him, she might avoid him, and he wouldn't even have the chance to silently watch over her. Although it was tough now, he could still see her, and there were still many beautiful dreams and hopes.

Guiling said, "Old Wang, Xiaoshuang is right. As long as you agree to acknowledge your daughter, we'll help you."

Old Wang said, "How about this, Xiaoshuang, I can agree, but you have to be my goddaughter first, and then help me acknowledge my daughter."

Xiaoshuang looked at Guiling, then at Xiaocui. Guiling nodded, and Xiaocui nodded as well. Xiao Shuang nodded, "Okay. I promise you."

After dinner, Xiao Cui and Xiao Shuang went home first. Gui Ling asked Lao Wang, "Tell me first, is your daughter Shen Qiong?"

Lao Wang nodded.

"Lao Wang, Shen Qiong has been looking for you. Did you know?" "

Really?"

Lao Wang looked at Gui Ling, "Is it true?"

"Of course it's true. She told me that she and her mother felt sorry for her father, that they didn't know where he was working and suffering, and that they wanted to find him so he could have a warm home."

"Really?"

Lao Wang asked again, tears streaming down his face.

"Absolutely true. Shen Qiong is at the migrant workers' home today. Should I call her over now?"

"No."

Lao Wang quickly stopped Gui Ling, "This is too sudden. Let me think about it."

"Okay, think about it. Tell me when you've thought it through, and I'll go talk to Shen Qiong."

Gui Ling parted ways with Lao Wang, walked out of the private room, and bumped into Liu Weiqiang.

"Guiling. Are you done with your work?"

"Yes, I'm done. You came today?"

This was the first time Liu Weiqiang had come to the club since he saved Xiao Shuang last time.

“I just got back from a business trip. Let’s go for a walk.”

“Okay.”

Guiling and Weiqiang walked out of the clubhouse and onto the dark road outside. Guiling now felt a sense of goodwill and trust towards Weiqiang. She had done some research these past few days and learned that Weiqiang was a university graduate who had started his own business after working for several years; he was a Confucian businessman. Guiling genuinely admired intellectuals. The last time Liu Weiqiang talked about confidantes, it made her think deeply. If two people could truly be both confidantes and lovers, it was indeed enchanting. She had never considered this possibility before.

They walked in the darkness, speechless for a moment. In the darkness, there was no sense of distance. As Guiling walked, she bumped into Weiqiang’s arm. Weiqiang naturally put his arm around her, and she didn’t resist, obediently leaning against him.

Weiqiang stopped, embraced Guiling, and kissed her. Guiling felt a little dizzy, her heart pounding. She closed her eyes and accepted his kiss. She felt love. Over the years, she had been with many men, and although she had felt excitement, she knew deep down that it wasn’t love. Even with Zhigang, it wasn’t.

They kissed for a long time before ending, embracing each other as they continued walking. Weiqiang's company was not far away, but they bypassed it and kept going. They walked for over half an hour without saying a word, yet their physical contact felt like communication. Reaching a hotel entrance, they glanced at each other and went inside.

Liu Weiqiang used his room card to open the door, then inserted the card to turn on the lights. He turned back and embraced Guiling, kissing her. Guiling felt that this man would be the most important man in her life; she wanted him. She said, "I'm going to take a shower."

Guiling came out of the bathroom, a towel tied around her chest, filling Weiqiang with imagination and desire for her body. He said, "Wait for me,"

and rushed into the bathroom.

When Weiqiang came out, Guiling was already covered with a blanket and lying on the bed. He threw off the towel and slipped inside, touching Guiling's smooth, warm breasts. His hands lingered on her large breasts, while Guiling's hands grasped his erect penis, which was hard as iron and burning hot. Guiling began to moan, her vulva opening, proclaiming her boundless desire. She let the jade pillar fill her cave, seemingly feeling the liquid overflowing inside sizzling and cooling the burning jade pillar.

With each thrust of Weiqiang, Guiling felt dizzy and her body lighter. As the movements intensified, Guiling felt her body float up, rising into the sky, merging with the clouds. Her pleasure permeated the sky, her cave as vast as the sky, the sun burning within…

Guiling felt her cries of orgasm expanding her cave like inflating a balloon, the entire sky beneath her. Weiqiang was utterly destroyed in this vast cave.

They embraced, drenched in sweat, the sheets soaked. Weiqiang gently kissed Guiling's red lips and said, "Let's wash up."

Guiling nodded. Weiqiang went into the bathroom, and Guiling followed, helping him wash his now soft and boneless penis. After washing it clean, she put it in her mouth, letting it gradually fill her mouth and swell. Weiqiang picked up Guiling, carried her out of the bathroom, and placed her on another bed. He straddled her, gently licking her vulva, watching it open to reveal the red flesh inside, soaked by the gushing fluid. At the same time, Guiling stimulated his penis, holding it in her mouth until it reached her throat.

When Weiqiang's penis entered her again, Guiling immediately floated up again. The second orgasm was stronger, longer, and more wonderful…

After a long while, Guiling said, “Whether I'm your confidante or not, I like you.”

Weiqiang said, “A confidante is something you can only meet by chance. Whether I am or not, I'm satisfied to have sex with you.”

Guiling hugged Weiqiang tightly, pressing her breasts against his chest, and asked, “Tell me what kind of person your wife is?”

“She's a very good person, beautiful, kind, virtuous, and very capable.”

"Can't she become your confidante?"

"I hope she can. If she is, we're a match made in heaven."

The next day, Old Wang didn't come. After finishing her work that night, Guiling saw that it was only a little past eleven. Knowing that Shen Qiong wouldn't be asleep, she ignored what Old Wang thought and went to find her.

Shen Qiong heard the knocking, opened the door a crack, and saw Guiling. She asked, "Sister Guiling, is something wrong?"

"Nonsense. Why would I come to see you if there's nothing wrong?"

Guiling knew there was a man in the room, so she smiled and said, "I've been in the office all night. Come see me no matter how late you're done." Guiling

went back to her office and waited for half an hour before Shen Qiong arrived.

Gui Ling laughed, "Looks like I ruined your good time, so you came here so abruptly?"

Shen Qiong blushed and said, "You must have something important to tell me at this time."

"You understand. You can always find another man, but you only have one father."

"What?"

Shen Qiong stared at Gui Ling with wide eyes. "You found my father?"

"If you saw your father now, would you recognize him?"

"We haven't seen each other for over ten years. I was young then, so I don't remember very clearly, but I should be able to recognize him."

"If you really found your father, what will you do?"

"What will I do? What else can I do? I will take care of him, be filial to him, and not let him be a migrant worker anymore."

"What if he doesn't let you take care of him?"

"I will take care of him even if he doesn't let me. I want to atone for my mother's sins; my mother wronged him."

Gui Ling stood up from behind her desk, led Shen Qiong to sit on the sofa, and said, "Sit down first, let's talk slowly."

Shen Qiong asked eagerly, "You really found my father?"

Gui Ling nodded and said, "I found him. But he doesn't want to acknowledge you."

"Why?"

"Actually, he's been by your side all these years, wherever you go, he goes, but he doesn't let you know. He used to work as a laborer, and later, as he got older, he made a living by collecting scrap."

Tears welled up in Shen Qiong's eyes, and she choked out, "Poor father. Why won't he acknowledge me?"

"It's because of something your mother said, that having a migrant worker father would be detrimental to your development. He thinks that makes sense."

"Nonsense."

Shen Qiong took a handful of tissues from Gui Ling and carefully wiped away her tears. "Even if he's begging, he's still my father."

"You really want to acknowledge him?"

"Of course I do. I can't let him collect scrap anymore. I'll support him, let him live with me, and find him a wife so we can live a good life."

"You're quite ambitious."

Gui Ling said with a smile, "You can't afford to support him now. Just the gold card at the neighboring village's clubhouse costs 200,000 yuan a year, which is equivalent to your annual income, right?"

"What? You're saying he's your member?"

"Let me tell you, he's also a scrap collector now, but he's the king of scrap, richer than your so-called overseas Chinese stepfather."

"That's wonderful. I was worried he wasn't eating well or had a place to stay."

"How about this, I'll treat everyone tomorrow night, including you and your daughter, and Xiao Cui and Xiao Shuang."

"Why are you inviting them?"

"It's a secret."

The next afternoon, Shen Qiong arrived early, but Wang Changqing was already there, waiting in the private room. Gui Ling said to Shen Qiong, "Go in by yourself, I don't need to introduce you."

Gui Ling told Xiao Shuang to stand guard outside, leaving the father and daughter laughing and crying inside. Only when Xiao Cui arrived did Gui Ling knock on the door and ask, "May we come in?"

"Come in."

It was Shen Qiong's voice.

Gui Ling pushed the door open and saw that Shen Qiong's eyes were red, but her face was full of smiles. Gui Ling said, "Several important things happened today, all of which I facilitated, so I'm treating everyone."

Old Wang said, "I'll treat everyone."

"No. Even if you have money, you can't treat everyone today. Next time you treat everyone, I'll definitely be there."

Shen Qiong said, "Dad, I'll accept your offer, so I'll listen to Gui Ling."

They sat down, with Xiao Shuang standing to the side. Guiling said, "Xiaoshuang, you can go home now. Sit down and let someone else serve you."

Xiaoshuang obediently sat down. Another waiter brought over cold dishes and opened a bottle of strong-flavored liquor from a neighboring village. Guiling filled everyone's glasses and said, "I have three important announcements. First, Old Wang and Shen Qiong have been reunited. Let's all drink to that."

Everyone drank it all in one gulp. Shen Qiong asked anxiously, "Guiling, what's the second important announcement?"

Guiling looked at Xiaoshuang and said, "The second important announcement is that your father has taken in a little sister for you. Xiaoshuang, we don't kowtow anymore. Call him 'Dad' and bow three times to Old Wang."

Xiaoshuang stood up, walked to Old Wang's side, and sweetly called out, "Dad,"

before bowing three times.

Everyone applauded, and Shen Qiong understood. She came over and hugged Xiao Shuang, saying, "I just found my father, and now I have a little sister. I'm so happy!"

Old Wang was even happier. He took out a thick envelope from his pocket and said, "Gui Ling called me so suddenly today, I didn't have time to buy anything. This 10,000 yuan is a small gift. Please accept it."

Seeing that Xiao Shuang was reluctant to accept it, Shen Qiong grabbed the envelope and stuffed it into Xiao Shuang's hand, saying, "This isn't money, it's a gift. You must accept it to truly acknowledge you as my daughter."

Old Wang said, "Today doesn't count. Another day I will hold a grand ceremony to formally announce two things: first, that I've found my daughter; second, that I'm acknowledging Xiao Shuang as my goddaughter."

Chapter 22 of 02-12: Triple Happiness

Shen Qiong said eagerly, "Gui Ling, this third thing must also be a momentous event, right?"

"Of course."

Gui Ling deliberately kept her in suspense, asking Shen Qiong, "Do you want to find yourself a stepmother?"

"Yes. But we just reunited today, that's a matter for the next step. Have you already found one?"

"Tell me, what are your criteria for a stepmother?"

"You'll have to ask my dad. I just want her to be good to him."

"Any age requirements?"

"The younger the better, of course."

"Then I'll find you the youngest."

"How old?"

Guiling whispered in Shen Qiong's ear, "Xiao Cui. How about it?"

Shen Qiong was startled, glancing at Xiao Cui, whose face flushed crimson. She knew she was being talked about; Guiling had brought it up yesterday, and she hadn't refused. She had initially sympathized with Lao Wang, but the age difference was too great, so she hadn't considered it. Guiling's suggestion had stirred her interest. She hadn't had a man for years; even Zhigang rarely thought of her. She felt that as a former prostitute, despite being a vice general manager, she didn't dare dream of marrying a good man. Lao Wang was perfect except for his age, and age didn't matter to her; many of the men she'd slept with were older than him.

Shen Qiong quietly asked Guiling, "Is Xiao Cui willing?"

“I talked to her, and she didn’t refuse, which means she’s willing. I also talked to your dad this afternoon, and he didn’t agree, but his reason was that the age difference is too big, and he’s afraid it will delay the girl’s future. It seems like there’s no big problem, but you still need to do some persuasion.”

“No problem. Leave this to me.”

“Good.”

Guiling said loudly, “Now I’m announcing the third thing: I’m introducing a potential partner to Old Wang. I recommend Xiao Cui. Does everyone agree?”

Guiling, Shen Qiong, and Xiao Shuang all clapped, especially Xiao Shuang, who clapped particularly enthusiastically. Xiao Cui’s face turned even redder, and Old Wang’s face also turned red.

Old Wang waved his hand to stop everyone from clapping, saying, "This matter needs careful consideration; we can't joke about it. Why are you bringing it up now?"

Guiling said, "Old Wang, who's joking with you? You don't look down on Xiaocui, do you? I've already announced it, so you can't say anything unpleasant."

Old Wang shook his head repeatedly, "No, no. Look, I just found my daughter today, and Xiaocui is about the same age as her."

"So what if she's about the same age?"

Shen Qiong said, "If you're willing to marry her, I'm willing to let her be my stepmother."

She then said to Xiaocui, "But don't expect me to call you 'Mom,' I'll still call you Xiaocui."

Xiaocui's head almost touched the table. Guiling said, "Today is a triple celebration, let's all drink three glasses together. Okay?"

"Okay!"

Everyone responded in unison, drinking three glasses in a row.

After dinner, Old Wang was already quite drunk. Guiling whispered to Shen Qiong, "I know you want to talk to your father more, but not today. He's had too much to drink. Let Xiaocui take care of him."

Shen Qiong understood and said, "Okay. Let's do that."

Guiling said, "Xiaocui, Lao Wang has had too much to drink. Help him upstairs to rest."

Xiaocui helped Lao Wang upstairs. Shen Qiong said, "Don't go, I want to drink a little longer."

"Okay,"

Guiling said, "but don't drink any more alcohol. Let's go have some tea."

Xiaocui helped Lao Wang into the room, put him on the bed, and took off his coat. Old Wang was still quite lucid. He sat up and said, "Xiao Cui, I'm sorry, they're just talking nonsense. Don't take it to heart."

Xiao Cui said, "What if I wanted to marry you? Would you marry me?"

Old Wang said in surprise, "You'd marry me? What's so good about me?"

"Aren't you rich? Do you believe I'm only after your money?"

Old Wang looked at her big eyes and fair, round face and said, "I don't believe you. You're not short of money now, and besides, Gui Ling has told me a lot about you. I believe you're a good girl."

"Sister Gui Ling probably told you that I come from a family of prostitutes. Do you care?"

"She did, but I don't care. Aren't we all forced into this by life? I did manual labor and collected scrap metal, it's the same. It's hard to understand you if you haven't experienced that kind of hardship, but I do understand. If I were a woman, and young and beautiful, I probably wouldn't be collecting scrap metal, but would be a prostitute like you."

Xiao Cui leaned on Old Wang's shoulder and cried, "Old Wang, thank you for understanding me so much."

"Alright. Don't cry,"

Old Wang said, wiping away Xiao Cui's tears. "If you really don't feel wronged, I'll marry you."

Xiao Cui began to kiss Old Wang. Old Wang hadn't been with a woman for over a decade and was momentarily at a loss. The years he spent as a migrant worker were the hardest, but later, when he collected scrap, it didn't matter. Firstly, he had gotten used to not being with women for so many years, and secondly, he knew his place—a scrap collector couldn't expect a woman to enjoy him. Years later, when he had money and was older, he hadn't thought about women anymore. It was as if the floodgates of his thoughts were closed; if he didn't open them, there would be no desire. But today, holding this young and beautiful woman, Xiao Cui, in his arms, suddenly opened those floodgates. He began to feel hot, and his long-dormant penis started to stir.

Old Wang sucked on Xiao Cui's tongue, experiencing a sweet and fragrant taste he had never tasted before. He sucked on it, and that sweet fragrance entered his stomach and spread throughout his body, making him feel weak, warm, and comfortable.

Xiao Cui took off her top, revealing her full breasts, and let Lao Wang touch her two un-nurtured nipples. She took Lao Wang's penis in her hand, grasped his already thick and hard penis, and placed it into her already open vulva. Both of them hadn't had sex in a long time, and now they were panting heavily, thrusting violently into each other. Xiao Cui felt his thick jade pillar filling her cave, making her feel full and secure. Many men had just passed through her body without any feeling. Zhi Gang had given her an orgasm, but she knew he was just a passerby. Today she knew this man would want her forever, and they could depend on each other from now on, so she completely let herself go and gave herself to this man. Her orgasm surged forth. With Xiao Cui's scream, Lao Wang also reached his peak at the same time.

Xiao Cui didn't expect Lao Wang to be so powerful; she hadn't planned to have an orgasm. She hugged Old Wang tightly, as if afraid he would run away, and said, "Old Wang, you're not old at all, and you're amazing. You make me so happy."

Old Wang kissed her and said affectionately, "Give me a son."

Xiao Cui smiled and said, "Okay. I'll give you a little ragpicker."

The next day, Gui Ling went to Zhi Gang's office and told him about Xiao Cui and Old Wang. Zhi Gang said happily, "That's wonderful. Xiao Cui is introverted and doesn't like socializing. I was really worried about her marriage. Shen Qiong has also found her father. You've done so many good deeds; you'll surely live a long life."

Gui Ling said, "What about you? You're not young anymore; shouldn't you find someone to marry? Your parents have mentioned it to me several times since I went back."

"Who should I marry? You?"

"Get lost. Besides Jing'er, isn't there anyone suitable? How about Xin Yi?"

"No rush. It's best to let things take their natural course."

"You're like an emperor who's not worried but a eunuch. You have too many women. Let's see if you're anxious when you don't have a single woman."

"As long as I have you, I'm not in a rush."

"Me? I won't want you then either."

"No, you're the one who made me lose my virginity. You have to take responsibility and not abandon me."

Guiling thought of Weiqiang. She could hardly live without Weiqiang now, and she would spend every opportunity to be with him. She said, "I'm afraid only Lan Hua will stay by your side in the end."

Just then, Lan Hua came in: "What are you talking about?"

Gui Ling said, "You're saying you're going to marry Zhi Gang."

Lan Hua said, "Okay. I'll marry him tomorrow."

Zhi Gang quickly changed the subject, asking Lan Hua, "What's wrong?"

"Jing'er called, asking me to sign the contract tomorrow."

"Okay. This can't be delayed any longer. Is there no problem on her end?"

"It's hard to say over the phone, I'll only know when I get there tomorrow."

At this moment, Gui Ling's phone rang: "Hello, Da Qun. What did you say? Da Zhi was in a car accident? Okay, I'm coming right away."

Zhi Gang asked, "How is Da Zhi?"

"He's seriously injured and has been taken to the hospital. I'm coming over now."

"Let's go together,"

Zhi Gang said. "Which hospital?"

"The First People's Hospital."

Lan Hua said, "I'll drive, I know the way there."

They got in the car, and Zhi Gang called Xia Qing: "Xia Qing, a friend of mine was seriously injured in a car accident and is being taken to the First People's Hospital. Can you call Hu Keming and try to get him to perform the surgery, okay?"

Xia Qing said, "Okay. I'll call right away."

Zhigang hung up the phone and comforted Guiling, saying, "Don't worry, Xia Qing will have her ex-husband, Hu Keming, perform the surgery. Hu Keming is known as 'China's No. 1 surgeon,' so with him there, Dazhi is saved."

They rushed to the hospital, where Daqun was already there, saying that Dazhi had been taken into the operating room. Zhigang grabbed a nurse and asked, "Excuse me, who is performing the surgery?"

The nurse replied, "Dr. Hu Keming."

Zhigang breathed a sigh of relief and helped Guiling up, saying, "Okay, it's Hu Keming. Sit down, let's wait quietly."

More than four hours passed, and suddenly the operating room door opened with a whoosh. Several nurses wheeled Dazhi out, one of them holding an IV drip. They rushed forward and saw that Dazhi's head was covered in bandages, and he was covered with a white sheet, their condition unknown. Guiling asked a nurse, "How is he?"

The nurse replied, "His head is fine, but he has three broken ribs on his left side, which have damaged his lungs. He's out of danger now, but we're watching to see if his lungs get infected."

Dazhi was taken to the intensive care unit. Zhigang and the others couldn't go in, so they could only stand outside and look through the glass door. At this moment, Hu Keming came over. Zhigang shook his hand and said, "Dr. Hu, thank you so much."

Hu Keming said kindly, "You're welcome. Don't worry, the probability of the patient getting a lung infection is very low. He'll be fine after the observation period."

Zhigang still held his hand tightly and said, "Please be sure to visit our club another day."

"Okay. Okay. One of you can stay and watch over him; the rest of you can go back and rest. He'll only need your care when he's transferred to a regular ward."

Hu Keming nodded to Zhigang and Guiling and left.

A week later, Dazhi was transferred to a regular ward. Guiling, Lanhua, Xiaocui, and Xiaoshuang took turns caring for him, and he recovered quickly. The bandage on his head had been removed, but he still couldn't move his ribs due to the injury. He needed to be fed, and his bodily functions had to be done in bed using a spittoon.

Guiling had been wanting to treat Hu Keming to a meal to express her gratitude. Zhigang had asked Xia Qing to invite him several times, but Hu Keming had politely declined each time. Gui Ling said, "I'll go invite him myself. I don't believe I can't get him to come."

Before Hu Keming left work, Gui Ling walked into his office: "Dr. Hu."

"Please sit down,"

Hu Keming said. "The patient is recovering very well. You didn't come here for him, right?"

Gui Ling sat down opposite Hu Keming and said with a smile, "Yes. But I didn't come here specifically to invite you to dinner either."

"Oh?"

Hu Keming was a little surprised. "Then tell me, is there anything else?" "

Dr. Hu should know that I'm in charge of the neighboring village's association. The association has a neighboring village salon, which is held every weekend. Experts and scholars are invited to come and chat with everyone. It's not a lecture, just casual conversation, but it's very popular. I'm here today to invite you to host one of the salon events. No preparation is needed. Just answer the questions with one ten-thousandth of your medical knowledge. Is that alright?" "I

'm really sorry, even on weekends, I have many academic activities to attend. I really can't find the time."

“Dr. Hu, I know you’re busy, but even if you’re busy, you can’t possibly not find half a day on a Saturday within six months. I won’t give you a specific date, just tell me which Saturday afternoon you’re free within six months, and I’ll make arrangements specifically for you.”

Hu Keming was somewhat moved and said, “But I can’t possibly know which Saturday I’m free many days in advance.”

“That’s alright. How many days in advance do you want me to confirm? A month, or a week? Can I call you every Monday? If I’m not sure on Monday, I’ll call on Tuesday, and if I’m not sure

on Tuesday, I’ll call on Wednesday. If I’m sure I don’t have time this weekend, then I’ll call you next Monday.” Hu Keming was amused by her and said, “Looks like you’re determined to invite me. I’m really impressed. Okay, let’s do it this way. In the end, either you get impatient or I get impatient. I think I’ll probably be the one who gets impatient and agrees.”

Gui Ling also laughed: “It’s settled then. I’ll invite you next Monday. Now you know my personality. We were talking about the company just now. What about my personal matters? I definitely have to invite the guest, but the time has to be different from the salon. I can’t use the salon as an excuse to invite you to dinner. I don’t believe that a doctor doesn’t even have time to eat. Don’t you live in a world of your own?”

Hu Keming said helplessly, “I really can’t do anything with you. I’ll show some sincerity and give you the initiative. You tell me which day you want to invite me, and then I’ll see if I can arrange that day. If not, you can choose another day.”

"Great. How about tomorrow night?"

"I'm not on duty tomorrow night, so it should be fine. But we can only make a preliminary assessment now. You know doctors can get emergency calls at any time."

"Of course I know. Then tomorrow night, please come to the clubhouse. I'll send a car to pick you up."

"No need. I'll drive myself."

"No. I'll still send a car to pick you up and then take you back. I know you drink, and since you're the guest of honor tomorrow, how can you not drink?"

"Okay, okay. As you wish. You're really amazing, Mr. Zhang."

"Don't call me Mr. Zhang, just call me Guiling. That's what Xia Qing calls me too."

"Okay, Guiling. Meeting you really leaves me helpless."

The next afternoon after work, Guiling sent Shen Qiong to pick up Hu Keming. After getting into the car, Hu Keming learned that Shen Qiong was a reporter. He was immediately flustered and said, "I'm so sorry, why did such a big reporter have to pick me up?"

Shen Qiong smiled and said, "Sorry? That's easy, we'll have a few more drinks later."

Hu Keming asked suspiciously, "You guys didn't conspire to get me drunk, did you?"

Shen Qiong said disdainfully, "You're too arrogant. Do you need us to conspire to get you drunk?"

The renowned expert Hu Keming had never encountered anyone speak to him like this, especially not a woman. He turned to look at Shen Qiong and said, "You and Guiling both have a certain air about you that's hard to fathom."

"Really? Then think about it carefully, what kind of air is that?"

"You could call it arrogance, or confidence, but not entirely. It's just that kind of imposing aura that compels men to obey."

Shen Qiong glanced at him and said, "You're not quite right. It's a unique charm of confident women, a kind of allure that makes men submit."

Hu Keming thought for a moment and said, "That seems more accurate than what I said."

Shen Qiong chuckled and said, "Looking at your dazed expression now, who would believe you're a nationally renowned surgeon?"

Hu Keming chuckled self-deprecatingly and said, "Once I'm on the operating table, I'm the most confident person in the world. But once I leave the hospital, I become a little insecure."

"Only a little insecure? I see you're extremely insecure around women. Not only insecure, but you also don't understand women at all."

"Why should I understand women?"

Shen Qiong glanced at him again: "Silly. Why did you get married? And why did you get divorced?"

Hu Keming was speechless. He thought about these two questions and truly didn't understand. Yes, why did I get married? Was it love, or lust? Or was it to have children? Then, why did I get divorced? The good answer is, Xia Qing wronged me. But why did she wrong me? Perhaps I truly don't understand women.

Seeing him remain silent, Shen Qiong said, "Dr. Hu, don't think your scalpel is the most important thing. You're not just a doctor, you're first and foremost a man. As a man, the first thing you need to understand isn't your patients, but women. For a man, women are more important than patients. Understand?"

Hu Keming, accustomed to being treated with respect and obedience, was struck by Shen Qiong's lecturing tone, which was both thought-provoking and thought-provoking. Yes, in this world, are women more important, or patients? Of course, women, who make up half of humanity, are more important. So why don't I want to understand women? Because I'm a doctor, I'm only interested in patients. But I'm also a man.

Hu Keming didn't want to remain passive any longer. Perhaps he would seriously consider these questions when he got home that night, but his male pride compelled him to take the initiative. He asked, "Reporter Shen, are you married?"

"Yes. I got divorced once, then married again."

"Why is it so complicated?"

"Actually, my second marriage was a remarriage; the man is the same."

Shen Qiong smiled at Hu Keming. "After all this turmoil, although I'm back to square one, I'm not the same person anymore. My understanding and views on marriage have changed. You agree, right?" "

Yes. So why did you divorce in the first place, and why did you remarry?" "

I divorced because he had another woman. He didn't want a divorce; that woman forced him to."

"Since you divorced, why didn't he marry that woman, and why did he remarry you?"

"Men are all like that; they don't know how to cherish what they have until they lose it. Maybe he still thinks I'm better. Why did you get divorced?"

True to her journalistic nature, Shen Qiong quickly launched a counterattack.

Hu Keming thought for a moment, then said blankly, "I don't know. Maybe it's just not meant to be."

"I think maybe it's because you don't understand women."

"How would you know? You don't understand the situation."

"I may not understand your situation, but don't forget, I'm a reporter. Based on my understanding and analysis, the vast majority of divorces are due to one thing: not putting themselves in the other person's shoes. To put it bluntly, it's selfishness."

"You're saying I'm selfish?"

Hu Keming was a little angry. Who dared say that a renowned expert who saves lives was selfish?

"Isn't that right? Think about it carefully."

Shen Qiong coaxed him like a student struggling academically.

Hu Keming actually listened, lowering his head to think: Am I really selfish?

Shen Qiong didn't speak, seemingly wanting him to really think it over. They didn't speak again until they reached Hall No. 2 of the Lin Village Guild Hall.

Guiling, Lanhua, Tingting, and Mingli were already waiting for them. As soon as Hu Keming got out of the car, Guiling shook his hand and said, "Dr. Hu, welcome. Let me introduce you. This is Chen Lanhua, the general manager of Lincun Winery, and these two are Huang Tingting and Cai Mingli, the deputy general managers of Lincun Guild Hall."

Hu Keming shook hands with them one by one and said, "Lincun Company is full of capable women."

Guiling said, "If you knew our relationship, you would understand how capable they are."

"Oh? What is your relationship?"

"No rush, sit down and we'll talk."

They sat down, and the waiter brewed a cup of Taiping Houkui tea for each of them. In the glass, long tea leaves swayed in the water like seaweed, standing upright from the bottom to the rim. A faint fragrance wafted from the steam rising from the rim of the cup. Guiling said, "Today I'm treating you to Anhui tea, Anhui cuisine, and some aged soy sauce-flavored liquor from a neighboring village. From now on, don't buy any more liquor; just ask Lan Hua for it, it'll be provided free of charge."

Hu Keming said, "Thank you, President Chen. But I still have to pay."

Lan Hua said, "If you call him President Chen, you'll naturally have to pay. You should call him Lan Hua, and it'll be provided free."

Shen Qiong said, "That's right. Calling him President Chen makes you an outsider, calling him Lan Hua makes you one of us."

"Lan Hua? Good, why not take advantage of such a cheap deal?"

Hu Keming, influenced by the women, also developed a sense of humor.

Chapter 023 What More Could a Husband Ask For?

The dishes were served, and Guiling introduced each dish to Hu Keming, explaining its name and origin. Anhui cuisine is one of the eight major cuisines of China. Its flavor incorporates the characteristics of southern Anhui, the Yangtze River region, and the Huai River region. Its overall style is: elegant and simple, original flavor, tender and fragrant, with a suitable balance of rich and light flavors. It also features meticulous ingredient selection, unique cooking techniques, emphasis on nutritional value, focus on the original taste, diverse dishes, and suitability for both northern and southern palates. Anhui cuisine is an integral part of Anhui culture, and each dish has a vivid story behind it, such as stinky mandarin fish, Hu Shi's One-Pot Stew, and Li Hongzhang's Assorted Stew. The stories are captivating, the cooking exquisite, and the flavors delicious. As Hu Keming savored the dishes and listened to the stories, he felt he wasn't just eating food, but consuming culture. Being a cultured man, he unconsciously drank a little more wine in this cultural environment. However, he remained rational, refusing to drink any more despite Ren Guiling and Lan Hua's attempts to persuade him.

Seeing that she couldn't persuade him, Guiling said, "Dr. Hu, now let me tell you about the relationships between us women."

"Go ahead,"

Hu Keming replied, still preoccupied with this question.

Gui Ling pointed at Huang Tingting and said, "She used to be my husband's mistress."

Then she pointed at Cai Mingli and said, "She used to be Shen Qiong's husband's mistress."

Hu Keming looked puzzled: "Then how come you two are so close?"

"Strange, isn't it? Have a drink and I'll tell you."

"No. If you want to drink, we'll drink together."

"Okay. We'll drink together."

After drinking, Gui Ling told him about the "mistress forum" and women's forums, saying, "You really should attend a few women's forums to understand women."

Shen Qiong felt that was enough and said, "Let's have dinner. Please invite Dr. Hu to come often in the future; there will be plenty of opportunities to understand women."

Shen Qiong didn't drink any alcohol. After dinner, she helped Hu Keming into the car and took him home. Hu Keming fell asleep as soon as he got in the car until Shen Qiong woke him up and asked, "Dr. Hu, where do you live?"

Hu Keming gave her the address and fell asleep again.

Shen Qiong drove to Hu Keming's building, parked the car, asked him which floor and apartment number it was, helped him upstairs, took the key from his pocket, and opened the door. Hu Keming fell asleep again on the bed.

Shen Qiong took off Hu Keming's outer clothes, covered him with the blanket, then took off her own clothes, crawled into the blanket, and hugged Hu Keming. In his sleep, Hu Keming held her tightly, one leg draped over her. Shen Qiong quietly took off their underwear. Hu Keming's penis was already hard in his sleep; who knows who he was having sex with in his dream?

Hu Keming was awakened by the desire in his dream. He groggily rolled over and climbed on top of Shen Qiong, kissed her, and then entered her body forcefully. Shen Qiong cooperated with him for an hour, then suddenly climaxed, screaming loudly, wrestling with Hu Keming, jumping up and down, landing and bouncing up on the Simmons mattress. Hu Keming had never experienced this kind of pleasure before, so he thrust even harder into her until he ejaculated.

Hu Keming opened his eyes, saw it was Shen Qiong, and quickly rolled off, asking, "Why is it you?"

Shen Qiong propped herself up on her right arm, looked at Hu Keming, and asked with a smile, "Why couldn't it be me?"

"You deliberately seduced me."

"So what? Aren't you happy?"

Saying this, she hugged Hu Keming again, gently stroking his limp penis with one hand, making him feel incredibly comfortable.

"Sigh!"

Hu Keming sighed, "I never thought I'd fallen so low."

"What do you mean? Do you think I'm a prostitute? Let me tell you, enjoying sex isn't falling. Tomorrow morning you'll still be a respected weapon."

"But I did this kind of thing last night..."

"Who did you hurt by doing this? Who did you wrong?"

Hu Keming thought about it and realized it made sense. He was single now, and this woman had initiated the act; it was harmless to both of them. However, she had a husband.

"Don't you feel guilty towards your husband?"

"My husband doesn't even feel that way. He knows I have another man, and he has another woman too."

"Are there really couples like that?"

"Hmph. I'm surprised there are men like you. Your wife doesn't have an orgasm, and you don't feel guilty towards her, but when she does, you blame her and want a divorce. Isn't that selfish?"

Hu Keming's mind was foggy at this point, and he said, "I'm confused for a moment; I need to think about it."

Shen Qiong said, "Think about it slowly. When you truly enjoy a woman, she also enjoys you; happiness is mutual. Today, I'll let you experience the joy of a woman and witness the pleasure of a woman having an orgasm."

Shen Qiong caressed his entire body, making his blood boil. His penis stood erect like a flagpole, and then she straddled him, taking the flagpole into her vagina, moving up and down. Every time she sat on him, Hu Keming felt as if she were peeling a layer of skin off the flagpole like a bamboo shoot.

Hu Keming thought that he could enjoy Xia Qing's body like this too.

Hu Keming woke up in the morning, holding the woman's naked body in his arms, feeling an unprecedented excitement; he wanted it again. Shen Qiong was still asleep; her large eyes, which had been wide open during the day, were now squinting, and two red marks were pressed into her fair face by the wrinkles of the pillowcase. Hu Keming kissed those marks, but Shen Qiong still didn't wake up. He lifted the covers and gently kneaded her two snow-white breasts, licking them with his tongue. At this moment, Shen Qiong woke up, still with her eyes tightly closed, enjoying the pleasure on her chest. Hu Keming felt her body react; his hands moved from her chest to her back, then to her buttocks. He felt the body he touched begin to writhe, and the movements became increasingly larger. He moved from her inner thighs up to her vulva, which was already predictably wet.

Shen Qiong opened her eyes, grabbed Hu Keming's penis, and gently stroked it with her tongue, like a gentle breeze, causing the already hard penis to throb with erect veins. She then put it entirely into her mouth, sucking on its entirety. Although Hu Keming had been married for many years, he had never experienced anything like this before, and couldn't help but let out a soft moan. Seeing that the time was right, Shen Qiong let the scalding jade pillar penetrate her vulva, repeatedly thrusting in and out, causing the fluid inside to boil and churn.

When Shen Qiong reached her climax, her body thrashed on the bed like a carp leaping, her screams filling the room like waves. Hu Keming had never seen a woman so happy, so frenzied, under his sharp blade. His confidence soared, and he thrust hard into her vulva repeatedly, rotating and rubbing against the walls, driving the woman beneath him even more wild. Until the high pressure inside the jade pillar reached its peak, it gushed out, a torrent that seemed to pierce even the mattress.

They lay on the bed, seeing light filtering through the curtains, knowing it was dawn. Shen Qiong got up, went to the window, and opened the curtains; her white, tender flesh was immediately dazzlingly revealed in the light. A pair of perky, slightly upturned breasts, clearly untouched by childbirth or breastfeeding, swayed with Shen Qiong's movements, bouncing elastically as they fell, then swaying again before bouncing back down.

Shen Qiong returned to the bedside, displaying her breasts to Hu Keming. Hu Keming swallowed hard, saying, "It's a pity I have to go to work."

"Otherwise, I'd like to do it again. Don't you?"

Shen Qiong placed one foot on the edge of the bed, stroking Hu Keming's face with her hand, then back, teasing him.

Hu Keming nodded.

"Do you want me to come again tonight?"

"Yes."

Shen Qiong didn't come that night. Hu Keming waited anxiously, calling her. She said, "Oh, I'm sorry. I'm interviewing a leader, and I need to finish the article tonight, first thing tomorrow morning. Can I come tomorrow?"

Hu Keming angrily hung up. He had never been treated so coldly. This woman had ignited his desire, but wasn't coming; wasn't she deliberately playing him for a fool? He had surgery the next day and wanted to go to bed early to get enough rest, but he couldn't fall asleep. He thought of Xia Qing; if she were here, she could calm him down and he could fall asleep immediately. But he was too embarrassed to call Xia Qing; they were no longer husband and wife, and he was the one who strongly insisted on the divorce.

Helpless, he went to the bathroom to shower and forced himself to ejaculate.

The next evening, Shen Qiong came and asked him with a smile, "Do you want to be my long-term lover?"

Hu Keming picked her up and threw her onto the bed, saying, "Of course I do. You have to make up for what I lost yesterday."

Shen Qiong took off her clothes herself and said, "Okay, I was wrong yesterday. You can torment me today."

Like a vengeful spirit, Hu Keming gritted his teeth and entered Shen Qiong's body, wreaking havoc for over an hour, bringing Shen Qiong to orgasm twice.

"Satisfied now?"

Shen Qiong stroked Hu Keming's calmed head and said, "If you want to be my lover long-term, there's one condition."

"What condition?"

"You and Xia Qing remarry."

"Why? You shouldn't want me to remarry."

"No. I won't marry you. Only if you remarry can we be long-term lovers."

Hu Keming had already given up on himself and considered himself depraved, so his reason for divorcing Xia Qing was naturally insufficient. Moreover, he had begun to understand Xia Qing, and even secretly imagined what it would be like to have sex with her again.

He thought, have I fallen? A knife is still a knife, and the skill will only become more and more refined, regardless of how many women he has.

The affair between Shen Qiong and Hu Keming was arranged by Zhigang, with the aim of getting Xia Qing to remarry. But at this time, Zhigang was already in Maotai Town. Lan Hua had to help Guiling serve Dazhi, so he had to personally go to sign the contract. Because Chun'er needed to sign, Chun'er went back with him.

Having experienced the nourishment of a man, Chun'er became even more beautiful and more like Jing'er. Originally, she appeared somewhat slender due to her height, but now her breasts were fuller, making her figure devilishly alluring. On the plane, they sat in two seats on the side, with Chun'er on the inside. She couldn't wait to grab Zhigang's penis through his pants. Zhigang had to lower the small table on the back of the seat in front of him and spread out a newspaper, pulling it down halfway to cover himself. But this only emboldened Chun'er, who simply unzipped her pants and reached inside to grab his penis, making Zhigang very embarrassed. Even though the flight attendants were walking around, and he couldn't see, he felt as if he were naked. Chun'er pulled his hand to her inner thigh and moved it upwards, inserting two fingers directly into her vagina. Chun'er leaned on Zhigang's shoulder, pretending to sleep, but actually enjoying the pleasure of his fingers moving inside her. Zhigang tried to pull his hand out, but Chun'er wouldn't let him. Zhigang whispered, "Don't do this, I'm afraid someone will see."

"No,"

Chun'er whispered in his ear, "It's more exciting this way."

Zhigang sighed, forced to restrain himself, and whispered, "Please don't make a sound."

He was still afraid Chun'er would cry out; what wouldn't this girl do? So he withdrew his hand and coaxed Chun'er, "Just bear with it for a while, I'll want you after we land."

Zhigang was increasingly worried about Chun'er. Her desire was incredibly strong; he really didn't know what she might do. She was still a student, thinking about men all day long—how could that be acceptable?

The plane landed at Guiyang Airport, and they took a car to Zunyi City, finding a hotel to stay in.

Chun'er's figure looked even slimmer than Jing'er's; she was taller, and her skin was equally fair and tender like a new lotus root. She grabbed Zhigang's erect penis and led it towards the bed like a cow, saying, "I don't believe you don't want me."

They'd already done the foreplay on the plane. Zhigang pounced on Chun'er on the bed, thrusting his erection deep into her tender flesh. Chun'er moaned intermittently, urging Zhigang to keep thrusting repeatedly until she reached her climax. She cried out, "Ah—Zhigang! Ah—Zhigang!" She writhed

desperately, almost breaking her back, her hands gripping Zhigang tightly, her sharp nails digging into his back.

Zhigang persisted until her climax subsided. Chun'er's face was flushed, her eyes sparkling, charming and alluring, her skin a rosy white, making Zhigang reluctant to stop, his erection still inside her. Chun'er

smiled and said, "Brother Zhigang, let's try a different position."

"Okay."

Under Chun'er's guidance, they tried several positions—sheep climbing a tree, cat and mouse in the same house, monkey embracing a tree, phoenix swimming in a cinnabar cave, and so on—all positions Zhigang had never heard of before. Just as she felt the climax approaching, Chun'er and Zhigang returned to the traditional position: "Ah—Zhigang! Ah—Zhigang!"

Zhigang hadn't ejaculated yet. Chun'er said in surprise, "Brother Zhigang, this is the first time I've met a man who doesn't ejaculate even after two orgasms."

Zhigang asked, "How many men have you been with?"

"Not many. Just a few classmates. Some of my female classmates go out and sleep with rich men, earning several thousand yuan a night. They tried to get me to join them, but I refused."

"Why didn't you do it?"

"I enjoy myself, I won't sell myself. They're just doing it for money, that's prostitution. I would never do that."

"Is there a difference?"

"Of course there is. Is the feeling of going to a prostitute the same as going to bed with me?"

Zhigang thought of his time with Xiaocui in a brothel and said, "I went to a brothel once, with Xiaocui, but I couldn't get an erection, so it didn't work out."

"Exactly. Ah—"

Zhigang and Chun'er reached their peak at the same time. He kneaded the girl in his arms like dough, until he melted into water, the two of them merging together, inseparable.

Chun'er took a long time to recover, then said, "Brother Zhigang, you're amazing!"

Zhigang said, "Men love hearing women say that."

"Brother Zhigang, I'll be your lover forever."

"You'll have to get married eventually. A stable family is the most important thing."

"I'll marry you."

"You know I don't want to marry anyone but Jing'er."

"But Jing'er is already married."

"If she's married, I don't want to get married anymore."

Chun'er punched Zhigang's chest hard with her little fist and said, "What's so great about my sister Jing'er that makes you think like that? Aren't I good enough?"

“Chun’er, you’re an adult now, you should understand what feelings are. It’s not a matter of good or bad.”

Chun’er said through tears, “Brother Zhigang, if you marry anyone but Sister Jing’er, I’ll kill you.”

Zhigang laughed and said, “I’d rather you kill me.”

Chun’er smiled and pressed her face against Zhigang’s chest, tears streaming down her face, and said, “You bad boy. You know I can’t bear to kill you. Okay, I’ll give in. But no matter who you marry, you can’t abandon me, or I’ll kill your wife.”

Zhigang pinched her small nose and said, “Always talking about killing this or that, who do you dare to kill? I’ll get you a little bug to kill.”

Chun’er giggled and snuggled into Zhigang’s arms.

After getting dressed, Zhigang said, "You go to Maotai Town first. I'll go tomorrow."

"I want to be with you."

"No. As soon as we show up in Maotai Town, someone will be watching us."

"Then will you be with Jing'er?"

"I definitely can't be with her. Someone wants to take pictures of me with her."

Zhigang saw Chun'er out of the hotel, hailed a taxi, gave the driver two hundred yuan, and asked him to take her to Maotai Town.

Early the next morning, Zhigang rushed to Maotai Town, first going to Jing'er's house, where Jing'er was waiting for him. Jing'er's mother had recovered, and the whole family was there. Zhigang took out six printed copies of a contract already stamped with the official seal of the neighboring village's winery and showed them to Jing'er. Jing'er looked at them and said, "That's fine. Let's sign."

Jing'er's mother signed first, then Jing'er, Chun'er, and Xi'er all signed. Zhigang carefully put away the two documents and asked, "Where's Tianming?"

Jing'er replied, "At the factory."

"Come on, let's go to the factory and take a look."

On the way, Jing'er said, "I suspect Tianming poisoned my mother's tea, but I have no evidence. Now I'm so paranoid and nervous. If it really is him, living together every day, it's impossible to guard against him doing something bad again."

"You have to be careful. But I don't think he'll do it again, maybe he'll come up with other crooked ideas."

Jing'er sighed and asked, "Zhigang, what should I do?"

Zhigang put his arm around Jing'er's shoulder, then felt it was inappropriate and let go, saying, "Jing'er, everything has a solution, you have to hang in there. I'll send someone over soon to help you take charge of the winery's management."

"What about Tianming? He has the brewing formula, we can't abandon him. But who knows what else he might do?" "

As long as there's no evidence, we can only keep him around for now, make him the technical director, and give him a high salary."

“I heard that Tianming has been getting close to Liu Qiang’s family, who runs a mahjong parlor in town, lately. They say his daughter, Liu Feng, slept with Tianming. But…”

“But what?”

Jing’er blushed. “Tianming

’s not good lately.” “Not good in bed?”

Jing’er nodded and said, “So at least for now, he can’t sleep with Liu Feng.”

Zhigang whispered, “Stay with me tonight.”

“No. I’m afraid someone will take pictures.”

“It’s okay. I’ll arrange it so he can’t take any.”

They arrived at the winery and went straight into the workshop. Both Factory Director Xu and Tianming were present. Jing'er said, "Zhigang, I forgot to tell you some good news. Uncle Xu and my mother are getting married soon."

"Really?"

Zhigang said happily to Factory Director Xu, "Congratulations, Uncle Xu!" Factory

Director Xu smiled shyly and said, "Thank you. Thank you."

Zhigang said, "You're all busy. Just let Jing'er accompany me to see the place."

Seeing that no one was following, Jing'er said to Zhigang, "Originally, I wanted to give some of my shares to Uncle Xu, but my mother disagreed, saying she was afraid Tianming would interfere and affect the merger plan. I was in a dilemma when my mother finally admitted that she and Uncle Xu were together. So, Uncle Xu, like Tianming, can only share my mother's shares."

"Jing'er, Tianming isn't ready right now. You haven't had a man for a long time, have you?"

Jing'er nodded, blushing.

"I need you today. Take me to Zunyi later."

"What if they take pictures again?"

"Don't worry, not this time."

"What if they do take pictures again?"

"That's okay too. We've already signed a contract. If Tianming tries anything again, the person behind him will be exposed. As long as he's in the open, we have a way to deal with him."

Jing'er still drove Zhigang in the same Refine minivan. Zhigang told her to park the car in the downtown parking lot, and then they would walk to the food plaza to eat. After eating, they strolled along, passing through several streets, when Zhigang suddenly hailed a taxi, and the two of them got in and drove off. Jing'er looked back and asked, "Did you shake him off?"

Zhigang said, "I saw him clearly, I shook him off. He's too far from the parking lot now, and it's too late to call a taxi."

Zhigang asked the driver to take him to his hotel. They went into the room, and Zhigang said, "You'll stay here tonight, let him watch the car for you tonight."

Jing'er laughed, "I didn't expect someone as kind as you to be so cunning."

Zhigang picked Jing'er up and said, "How could I get you if I wasn't a little cunning?"

Jing'er said, "I want to take a bath."

Zhigang said, "I'll bathe with you."

Jing'er's breasts were still so beautiful and alluring, so white under the light that they dazzled Zhigang. He slathered Jing'er with bath soap, gently scrubbing every part of her body, even carefully cleaning the outer layer of her vulva. He watched as the two pieces of clam meat, which had been joined together, began to separate, then expanded, unfolding like a flower opening into a trumpet-shaped mouth, revealing the red flesh inside.

Jing'er also carefully washed Zhigang. They dried themselves and walked to the bedside, embracing each other. Zhigang picked Jing'er up and placed her upright on the bed, spreading her legs upwards to reveal the trumpet-shaped flower. The double-layered petals of the flower trembled slightly, as if swaying in a breeze. Zhigang really wanted to take out his camera and photograph this beautiful flower to post on Weibo.

From the flower's stamen, a drop of dew condensed, first forming a round ball, gradually growing larger, and finally unable to bear its weight, sliding down the stamen and rolling to the lower edge of the petals. Zhigang stuck out his tongue and caught it in time. The water in the stamen continued to gush out, more and more, so Zhigang stood by the bed, aimed his "gun" at the center of the stamen, and thrust inside.

Zhigang felt the flower close up like a jellyfish, tightly enveloping his penis. He also felt an inward force in the cave, drawing his penis deeper. Zhigang was overjoyed. He had never experienced this feeling before. Even during his first time with Chun'er, who was still a virgin, he only felt her vaginal muscles were tight, but he had never felt this suction force. Every time he pulled out, without needing to push in, it automatically sucked him back in.

Zhigang said, "How do you suck me in? Can you feel it?"

Jing'er moaned softly, "I can feel it. I can squeeze your thing in tightly."

"Have you ever felt this before?"

"Never. Today is the first time. What about you?"

"I've never experienced this before either."

This pleasure made them feel like they were in a dream, their souls reeling. First, the jade pillar and the cave disappeared, leaving only the jade pillar-shaped and cave-shaped pleasure. Then, a section of their bodies disappeared, and then their entire being became transparent air, with pleasure omnipresent.

Their two lives exploded simultaneously, becoming fragments of transparent light, dancing like sunlight. All they could hear was Jing'er's long, interspersed cries of "Ah—Zhigang. Ah—Zhigang."

When they calmed down, they were both drenched in sweat, as if they had been pulled from the water; the sheets were soaked. They both felt utterly exhausted.

Jing'er said, "Why did you ejaculate on your first orgasm today?"

Zhigang said, "If I hadn't ejaculated, even if I were still alive, my soul would be gone. Experiencing this kind of pleasure once, what more could I ask for?"

Jing'er hugged Zhigang's sweaty body and said, "Let's take a shower."

They went into the bathroom together and washed each other's bodies. Zhigang said, "Strange, your voice and Chun'er's voice are exactly the same."

Jing'er said, "I can't marry you, so Chun'er will take care of you in my place."

"Who knows who will take care of whom? Besides, no one can replace you. If you don't marry me, I won't marry you."

"Please don't say that. You're an only child, and you need to carry on the family line."

Zhigang had a sudden inspiration and said, "Give me a son."

"I'm married, how can I have a child for you?"

"Isn't it impossible at Tianming? Tomorrow, don't take any precautions, I'll plant the seed, won't that work?"

Jing'er silently dried Zhigang's body, as if she was dreaming of something, a smile appearing on her face. She blushed and said, "I want to have a child for you."

"I'll go to the winery tomorrow to say goodbye to you, and then stay here. You can come back tonight."

"Okay. That way they won't follow us tomorrow."

They came out of the bathroom and lay down on another bed. Zhigang fiddled with a pair of red cherries with his fingertips and said, "Jing'er."

"Hmm?"

"Do you want a boy or a girl?"

"A girl."

"But I want a boy."

"Then I'll give you two. The first a girl, the second a boy."

"That's too much trouble. Just have one, a boy and a girl, twins."

"Hehe."

Jing'er blushed and snuggled into Zhigang's arms. Zhigang noticed that this action was the same as Chun'er's.

"However, there's a problem."

"What?" "

If we have a daughter, she'll take your surname, but if we have a son, he'll take my surname. " "

That's not up to you. I didn't marry you, how can he take your surname?"

"Okay, then he can take your surname. As long as he doesn't take Tianming's surname."

Chapter 024 Sister and Brother-in-law

Zhigang had just gotten off the plane in Shanghai when he received a call from his eldest sister, Zhihong, saying that her brother-in-law and second brother-in-law had both quit their jobs and would be coming to Shanghai the next day. She and her second sister had also arranged to come over the next day. Zhigang thought to himself, "Oh no, I've been so busy lately that I forgot about my two sisters and brothers-in-law."

Back in his office, Zhigang called Guiling and Lanhua over, and the three sat on the sofa. Zhigang asked Guiling, "How's Dazhi's condition?"

Guiling said, "He's basically stable. Now, as long as someone takes care of him every day, he's just waiting to recover slowly."

"Won't he be left with a disability?"

"The doctor said no."

"That's good."

Zhigang took two signed contracts from his bag and handed them to Lanhua. "Keep these safe."

"Signed?"

Lanhua took the contracts and glanced at the signatures on the back. "Now we need to consider who to send."

"Who do you think we should send?"

"I want to go myself at first, and then I'll come back when things are more or less settled. I haven't decided who to leave there yet."

"Ideally, a man would stay there. But the company is too female-dominated, and there really aren't any mature male executives."

Guiling said, "Actually, Jing'er's abilities are perfectly fine; it's just that her current position doesn't allow her to represent the company."

"Right."

Zhigang said, "Tianming is her husband; it's difficult for her to control him."

Guiling said, "I have someone in mind. He has some ability, but he's not mature enough yet."

"Who?"

"Xiao Wang, Wang Weifeng,"

Zhigang said. "Lanhua will take Xiao Wang over first, let him get some experience, and also assess him. If he's suitable, we'll entrust him with important responsibilities; if not, we'll discuss it further. What do you think?"

Guiling and Lanhua both nodded: "Okay."

"Alright, now let's discuss my personal matters."

Zhigang said, "My eldest and second eldest sisters' families of four are coming tomorrow, and we need to find them jobs."

Lanhua said, "That's easy. There are so many companies, you can find jobs anywhere."

"It's not that simple,"

Zhigang said. "I think we can't have them working together, nor can we have them too far apart. Also, we can't let them interfere with the company's management."

Guiling asked, "What are their abilities like?"

"My eldest sister's husband is a bricklayer, and my second sister's husband is a carpenter. They can work on Dazhi's construction team. My two sisters are both junior high school graduates and don't have any special skills."

Guiling said, "Let's arrange one for the association. They can do purchasing. A junior high school graduate is fine, as long as they can keep accounts. Besides, we trust our own people to do purchasing."

Lanhua said, "Then let's arrange one for the migrant workers' home. Xiaocui and I are too busy, so let's see if we can train an assistant."

“Okay. I have one request: treat them the same as ordinary employees, without any special privileges.”

Guiling said, “Don’t worry. If they misbehave, Lanhua and I will teach them a lesson; it’ll be more effective than you.” Lanhua

nodded, “Right. We’re a bit older than them, we can keep them in check. Don’t worry.”

The next day, Zhigang went to the train station to pick up his two brothers-in-law. They were both working in the south and arrived in Shanghai on the same train. When they returned to the company, Lanhua had already brought their eldest and second sisters back. The two sisters looked around Zhigang’s office, touching this and that, never expecting their younger brother to be so imposing. They had only known he was a boss before, thinking he was just a small-time contractor.

The older sister sat down in Zhigang's seat and said happily, "Zhigang, when will you let me sit in such a seat too?"

Zhigang said, "That depends on your ability. If you're capable, why worry about not having a seat?"

The older sister asked again, "What work have you assigned me?"

"Elder sister, you go to the village hall in the neighboring village first. Guiling will arrange the specific work."

The older sister asked, "Where is Guiling?"

"Dazhi is in the hospital, Guiling went to the hospital."

"What happened to Dazhi?"

"He was in a car accident and broke several ribs. He's had surgery and is fine."

"Oh. Do you know how Guiling arranged my work?"

"You'll do the purchasing work first."

"Just buying rice and vegetables? Does she treat me like a maid?"

"Don't mention it,"

Lan Hua said with a smile. "How much money can an old woman buy in a day? A neighboring village's guild hall buys thousands of yuan worth of goods every day. Which old woman has that kind of extravagance?"

The eldest sister glared at her: "Spending that much money in a day? How can I manage that?"

Lan Hua said, "Look, you looked down on the purchasing just now, and now you're insecure."

The eldest sister then pointed to the second sister and asked, "What kind of work should we arrange for the second sister?"

Lan Hua said, "Zhichun will come to the migrant workers' home first and help me and Xiao Cui with some chores." The eldest

sister then pointed to her two brothers-in-law and asked, "What kind of work do they do?"

"The two of them,"

Zhigang said, "Daqun's construction site is close to here, so they can work there first."

The eldest sister's husband was named Chen You. He was honest and kind. He started as an apprentice at the age of 18, serving his master water, changing diapers, and doing housework. He became a master bricklayer at 18 and by 20, he had become one of the top bricklayers in Chenjia Village, which shows that he was talented. That year, there was a great flood. All the adobe houses in the village were submerged and collapsed, and a few brick and tile houses also collapsed. After the floodwaters receded, Chen You and his large group of apprentices worked day and night to rebuild all the houses in Chenjia Village, all of them brick and tile houses. The villagers bought their own bricks and tiles, and he only earned a small wage. Many of his apprentices later became contractors, but he continued to work as a laborer because he was too kind. His apprentices didn't want to work under his thumb anymore and preferred to contract projects independently. My second sister's husband, Peng Dali, was also a skilled carpenter, but he had one flaw: gambling. He originally didn't want to work away from home, doing odd jobs in the surrounding area and gambling away his time, accumulating a mountain of debt. To escape his creditors, he went south to seek refuge with Chen You, who introduced him to a job. During that time, my second sister, Zhichun, suffered a lot at the hands of the creditors. Although Dali had a job, he didn't bring back much money by the end of the year, and it was Zhigang who helped him pay off his gambling debts.

That evening, Zhigang booked a table at a guild hall in a neighboring village to welcome my sister and brother-in-law back. Xiao Cui and Xiao Shuang were brought back from the hospital by Gui Ling, and then they participated in the event with Wang Changqing and his daughter Shen Qiong. After Zhi Gang introduced them, he patted Xiao Cui on the shoulder and said to his second sister Zhi Chun, "Second sister, Xiao Cui is assisting Lan Hua in managing the migrant workers' home, and she will be your leader from now on. Don't underestimate her because she's young; she's very capable. You should listen to her and learn from her."

Zhi Chun said, "Okay. But should I call her Xiao Cui or what manager?"

"Just call her Xiao Cui is fine. Her surname is Zhou, and her name is Zhou Ying. The proper way is to call her General Manager Zhou."

"Hello, General Manager Zhou."

Zhi Chun deliberately called her that, making Xiao Cui blush.

“Second Sister,”

Xiao Cui said, “you should still call me Xiao Cui, I’m used to it that way. But from now on I’ll call you Zhi Chun, and you’re not allowed to use your family name when you’re at work.”

Lan Hua said, “This rule was set by Zhi Gang, but he was also the first one to be punished. He called me Third Sister-in-law, and he was fined 50.”

The dishes were served, and Zhi Gang asked Wang Changqing to sit at the head of the table, his eldest brother-in-law Chen You to sit at the second head of the table, and then his second brother-in-law, Shen Qiong, and Lan Hua sat down in that order. According to custom, everyone first drank three cups together, then Zhigang stood up to toast Wang Changqing: "Uncle Wang, you have so many happy events, I congratulate you all! You found your daughter, adopted a goddaughter, and met a wonderful woman. How come all the good things happen to you?"

Wang Changqing stood up and said, "Really, I've been overjoyed these past few days. I have to thank your neighboring village's guild hall, otherwise I wouldn't have such good luck."

Shen Qiong said, "It's because my father suffered so much that he has such a good reward."

Zhigang said, "Xiaocui, you drink with Uncle Wang, congratulations to you too, these two are also your daughters."

Xiaocui blushed and stood up, and the three of them drank their cups dry together.

Lanhua asked, "Uncle Wang, when are you having the wedding?"

Wang Changqing said, "I'm already this old, I won't have a special one, I'll choose an auspicious day next month to celebrate all three happy events at once. You all have to come then."

"We'll definitely attend,"

Zhigang said.

“Uncle Wang,”

Lan Hua said, somewhat displeased, “Xiao Cui is my assistant and my favorite younger sister. She’s never been married before, so you can’t just casually marry her off.”

“I’m not casual,”

Wang Changqing said. “Three happy events happening at once, double the joy! People don’t even have the chance to do this at their weddings. It’s sure to be a spectacular sight. Once the date is set, I’ll book the entire village hall in the neighboring village for the day, and I’ll pay for all the guests.”

Lan Hua said, “Let’s have a rehearsal today, a toast with a shared cup. What do you all say?”

“Yes!”

everyone said in unison, clapping their hands. Xiao Cui blushed and tried to sit down, but Shen Qiong picked her up and shoved the wine cup into her hands, so she had no choice but to drink the toast with Wang Changqing.

Lan Hua came over and hugged Xiao Cui, calling out, “Aunt Wang!”

Everyone burst into laughter, and Xiao Cui laughed so hard she threw herself at Lan Hua, burying her face in her shoulder.

Lan Hua said, "We've been joking around and forgotten about the important matter. Chen You, Zhihong, Dali, and Zhichun, I'd like to toast you all first. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors in Shanghai."

Zhihong said, "Then we'll have to rely on you to take care of them."

Lanhua said, "No need for care, we all earn our living through our own abilities. I believe you have the ability. Come on, let's do it."

Zhigang arranged for his two older sisters and brothers-in-law to stay at the migrant workers' home. After dinner, he helped them move their luggage. The two brothers-in-law had too much luggage, two quilts and several huge snakeskin travel bags for each of them. Zhigang told them to rest for the day tomorrow, and if they wanted to go out and have fun, he could send them a car, and they would go back to work the day after tomorrow

. Zhihong said, "No fun, we're here to work. My second sister and I have lighter work, let's go back to work tomorrow, let the two men rest for a day."

"That's fine too,"

Zhigang said, "Then you two should get some rest."

Zhigang knew that his two older sisters and brothers-in-law were like newlyweds after a long separation, and they definitely wouldn't sleep well tonight, so he told them to rest for the day tomorrow.

As soon as Zhigang left, the two sisters said goodbye and went to sleep. Dali and Zhichun first made love passionately, like thirsty people drinking wildly from a tap. Then the two talked on and on, the man talking about his experiences outside, the woman about trivial matters at home. Dali talked about the customs in Guangdong, how women were very promiscuous, and how prostitutes were everywhere. Zhichun asked warily, "Have you ever slept with a woman?"

Dali said, "You know I like to gamble. If you like gambling, you won't be a womanizer, and if you're a womanizer, you won't gamble. Men who are both womanizers and gamblers are not uncommon, but they are rare. Besides, where would I get the money? Women these days are very materialistic. They don't talk about feelings. If you have money, you can sleep with anyone; if you don't, you can't even touch them."

Zhichun thought he made sense and said, "Can't you just not gamble or be a womanizer?"

"Then am I still human? You can just stick me on the wall and worship me like a Buddha. But let me ask you, would you rather I be a womanizer or a gambler?"

Zhichun had been playing with Dali's penis, and now she felt it getting hard again. She said, "Outside, I'd rather you be a gambler; at home, I hope you're a womanizer."

Dali rolled over and straddled her, saying, "Okay, I'm a womanizer now."

They made love five times that night, and it was almost dawn.

The next day before work, Zhichun went to Lanhua's office. Seeing her listless expression, Lanhua asked with concern, "You look very tired. Do you want to take a day off?"

"No, thank you,"

Zhichun said somewhat embarrassedly.

Lanhua knew what was going on and quietly asked, "Tell me, how many times did you do it last night?"

Zhichun blushed and smiled shyly, refusing to answer.

Lanhua didn't press her further, picking up the internal phone and dialing a number: "Director Qian, please come in."

A man in his fifties with graying hair entered and respectfully greeted, "General Manager Chen."

"Director Qian,"

Lanhua said, "this is a new employee named Feng Zhichun. Please complete her paperwork, then arrange a seat for her in the office so she can familiarize herself with the situation before assigning her specific tasks."

Lanhua then said to Zhichun, "Zhichun, this is Director Qian. Go with him and follow his instructions."

"Director Qian,"

Zhichun greeted respectfully.

Director Qian led Zhichun to a large office, divided into small cubicles, each occupied by one person. Director Qian pointed to a blank space and said, "You can sit here. Do you know how to use a computer?"

Zhichun said, "I've played games on a computer."

"Can you type?"

"A little, but I type very slowly."

"You can practice typing first, and you can also go online to familiarize yourself with it."

"Okay. Thank you."

"Xiao Wang,"

Director Qian called over a girl, "This is the new employee, Feng Zhichun. You can teach her to fill out the 'Employee Registration Form' to complete the onboarding procedures, then give her some simple training, tell her about the company's situation and system, and also teach her how to use a computer."

The eldest sister, Zhihong, had also barely slept all night. Chen You seemed honest, but he was anything but honest in bed. He could last a long time; except for the first time when he and Zhihong reached orgasm simultaneously, the second and third times he made Zhihong reach orgasm twice before he released. When Zhihong couldn't hold back back home, she would also find a man to satisfy her, but she always felt that they were not as good as Chen You, and she still missed the pleasure of Chen You giving her two orgasms in one go. She was better off than Zhichun in that she could sleep in a little longer in the morning, as the club didn't start work until noon.

Zhihong didn't get up until 11 o'clock. After washing up, she went to the guild hall. Seeing that Guiling also looked listless, she knew that Guiling had served Dazhi last night and said, "Guiling, you didn't sleep well last night, did you? Why don't you get some rest?"

Guiling said, "It's okay, I'm used to it. I saw you didn't sleep well until noon, you didn't sleep at all last night, did you?"

Zhihong laughed and said, "You've been left behind in the countryside before, you don't know what it's like."

"You still have to take it easy, be careful not to drain your man dry, then you won't be able to use him anymore."

"What's the big deal, there are plenty of men."

Guiling poked Zhihong's forehead with her index finger: "Shameless. Are you really willing to abandon Chen You?"

"Old Wu,"

Guiling called over a middle-aged man, "Didn't you complain about needing manpower? This is Feng Zhihong, she'll assist you with purchasing from now on."

She said to Zhihong, "This is Master Wu, you can listen to his arrangements."

"Hello, Master Wu. Please take care of me."

"No problem, no problem,"

said Master Wu. "Come with me."

After Master Wu's explanation, Zhihong understood that the purchasing work at the neighboring village's guild hall was actually a complete system, managed uniformly by both guild halls. It wasn't like she had imagined, riding a tricycle to the market every day. Vegetables were delivered directly to the guild hall; the main purchasing tasks were inspection, weighing, and bookkeeping. Only when some small quantities of auxiliary ingredients were running low did they need to go to the market. Master Wu explained that occasional trips to the market were necessary, and another important purpose was to understand market conditions to improve the supplier supervision system and eliminate loopholes.

Zhihong thought to herself, "My younger brother really has a knack for running such a large business." If she were to ride a tricycle to buy vegetables every day as she had imagined, it would not only require more manpower, but the waste and chaos would also be staggering.

Just then, an apprentice from the kitchen came over and said, "Master Wu, the vegetable delivery is here."

"Come on,"

Master Wu said, leading Zhihong to the back of the kitchen. Zhihong saw Jiafang unloading goods from a light truck with a young man and called out, "Jiafang!"

Jiafang looked up and said, "Oh, Zhihong. When did you arrive?"

"I just arrived yesterday. Zhigang asked me to come and do purchasing. So you're the one delivering vegetables to us."

"That's great. You'll have to be lenient with me in the future."

Master Wu said, "Lenient with what? As long as the vegetables you deliver meet the requirements, there's no way to stop you."

"Of course, of course. I'll definitely deliver the best vegetables."

Zhihong watched Master Wu inspect the goods, weigh them, and record the transactions. Then she asked Jiafang to sign the ledger and gave Jiafang a purchase order. Jiafang said goodbye to Zhihong and drove off with the young man in the light truck. Mr. Wu said, "Jiafang is our designated supplier, but she has to provide vegetables of a specific quality and origin. She now specializes in business with high-end clubs and restaurants, providing green, environmentally friendly, and organic vegetables. Once our vegetable base in Anhui produces its produce, we'll have her handle the transportation, and we'll also entrust her to supply other restaurants."

"So Jiafang is a boss now?"

"More or less. Anyway, she's a wealthy person now and doesn't need to get up early every morning to sell vegetables at the market anymore."

After a few days, Zhihong realized that doing a good job in the purchasing department was not easy; it wasn't just about weighing and recording orders every day. There were so many vegetables, meats, poultry, seafood, dried goods, ingredients, and seasonings. In most restaurants, the chef would simply write down what they needed and the purchasing department would buy it, but this often led to mistakes and was unscientific. Which ingredients could be stored, what their shelf life was, which needed to be bought daily, whether to use seasonal vegetables instead of greenhouse-grown ones, and how to monitor suppliers to ensure they provided vegetables from designated origins and of designated quality—all these were things the purchasing staff had to consider. A purchasing plan needed to be prepared annually, monthly, weekly, and even daily. The purchasing department originally had two people, one for each of the two clubs. Chef Wu was the head, but he was constantly running between the two places and couldn't handle it all. Because there was no one to replace him, he hadn't taken a vacation in a long time, and they had long requested more staff.

Jiafang and Zhihong were already acquainted, and Jiafang had invited her out several times, but she always said she was new and needed to familiarize herself with the situation, so she didn't have time to go out. She had mentioned this to Mr. Wu, who suggested that she should go and check it out; fully understanding the supplier's situation was a necessary step in the procurement process. So, one day when Jiafang delivered vegetables, after inspecting the goods, Zhihong rode with her in her light truck.

Jiafang rented a large courtyard covering 10 acres in the suburbs, with office buildings, warehouses, and a parking lot. Upstream suppliers delivered vegetables directly there every day, which she then distributed and sent out. Zhihong saw Jiafang's company sign at the office building entrance; it read Shanghai Jiajiafang Organic Agricultural Products Co., Ltd. As Zhihong went upstairs, she asked, "Jiafang, you're the company's general manager now?"

Jiafang replied, "Chairman and general manager. Pretty impressive, right?"

"Really impressive. How come I never realized you were so capable when you were little, that a woman could build such a large operation?"

"To be honest, I have to thank Zhigang. Otherwise, I'd still be toiling away in the market every day. He entrusted me with supplying the village's guild hall and boxed lunches, which gave me the opportunity. With him as my supplier, I was able to develop a second and a third. Now I supply dozens of guild halls and large hotels."

Jiafang's office was a bit smaller than Zhigang's, but it was still quite impressive. Zhihong sat down in her boss's chair and said, "Sitting in Zhigang's seat felt novel, but it didn't really concern me. Why do I feel so close to you? It's like I should have a seat like that too?"

Jiafang said, "Anything can happen in Shanghai, everyone has a chance. You could even sit in Zhigang's seat."

"I wouldn't dare dream of that."

Jiafang walked over to Zhihong, spun her chair around, and asked, "So, what do you want to eat tonight?"

"I don't care what I eat,"

Zhihong said. "We sisters haven't seen each other in a long time, let's have some fun together. What else do you have planned?"

Jiafang whispered in Zhihong's ear, "I'll arrange a man for you. How about that?"

Zhihong quickly covered her ears with her hands and said, "Stop talking! It's so embarrassing."

"Okay. Then I'll show you around first, and then we'll go eat."
