【The Knight of Dawn: The Big Bad Wolf】【Part 2】【Author: redship】

    page views:1  Publication date:2022-09-28
"So, how did things turn out this way?" Cid, gripping an axe, stood helplessly beside the old knight in human form. He'd expected the battle to unfold as an ambush, but instead, the old knight had led him into the fray.

Before Cid stood thirteen apostles from the Holy See, lined up in a row. They were shrouded in nun-like white hooded cloaks, their figures radiating a mystical glow under the bright moonlight, exuding a romantic aura. Of course, it would have been better if these women weren't carrying those jarring maces, broadswords, and two-handed swords.

"I say, you guys fight like this, just going to go in and hack and slash?" Cid looked at the dark, almost black, bloodstains on the blade opposite them, then at the worn-out axe he'd casually taken from the nobleman's servant, and felt quite worried.

The old knight raised an eyebrow at him. "What do you think?"

"Well, this is a fantasy world, right? Mysterious and miraculous, right? There's no magic, fireballs, or beam cannons or anything like that, is there?" With a major battle looming, Cid was actually a little disappointed.

"I've seen what you're talking about before in battles against demons. Only a very few powerful Fallen Ones on the human side can do that, but even these elite Inquisitors use mystical techniques, like 'physical enhancement,' 'pain immunity,' or 'rapid healing.'" The old knight drew his longsword and cracked his neck. "Also, I've heard that the Inquisition has a secret technique called 'Holy Lance,' which can inflict fatal damage on transformed Fallen Ones. So I can't transform into a werewolf in this battle... Can you take on two of them?" "Let's not hold back, it'll hurt our friendship." Xi De gripped his wood-chopping axe tightly. "Then I'll just go for it!!" Xi De shouted to bolster his courage, raising his axe and charging forward. Fortunately, he died in a zombie horde in his previous life, not a complete weakling with a combat power of five. In this life, his transmigrator physique had been greatly enhanced, and after training with the old knight and the wild boar, he felt invincible.

But he hadn't even taken three or five steps before he was on his knees, literally.

"Holy crap! What's going on... why is it so heavy!" It felt like dozens of invisible hands suddenly pulled him down. Xi De knelt on one knee between the confronting apostles and the old knight, leaning on his axe, trying to stand but unable to, his face flushed red.

"It's a barrier. Judging from your condition, it must be ten times the gravity." The old knight said expressionlessly, "This is really troublesome." "Holy crap... why the hell didn't you say so earlier..." Xi De felt like his bones were about to be crushed. This was much more deadly than a fireball spell.

Then something even more terrifying happened to Xi De: three of the thirteen apostles actually "flew" towards him! Okay, it was just a sprint and jump, but the height and speed were no different from flying in Xi De's eyes, they were practically ghosts. Xi De wasn't too afraid of ghosts like those simple white sheets, but he couldn't withstand the ghosts wielding spiked clubs, meteor hammers, and double-headed axes.

"Holy crap!" At the critical moment, Xi De stood up, raising his axe to block a two-handed axe aimed at his head. He took a blow to the shoulder from a meteor hammer, then used the force of a spiked club to knock him back ten paces, clutching his stomach and spitting out blood. Damn it, he should have worn that old armor.

"Are you alright?" The old knight turned to look at him.

"I'm fine...didn't you see I was almost beaten to death and I'm still fine!" Xi De gasped, glaring at the old knight, then noticed the cracked ground beneath his feet and the ten people still motionless on the other side, and roughly understood.

So, this old man is also inside the barrier! Holy crap! To be so relaxed under that gravity is just too awesome!

The three apostles who had been sent to deal with Xi De floated over like ghosts, forming a triangular formation around him, and then the gravity returned. Luckily, Xi De had already stood up, so he wasn't completely defenseless.

Now he understood. When the barrier activated, these apostles probably couldn't move. Once they attacked, they had to kill the target before the enemy could react, otherwise, Xi De wouldn't have had the strength to defend himself.

"Heh heh, changed tactics, huh?" Sure enough, this time Xi De felt less gravity on his body than before, and the two apostles opposite him didn't move, only the apostle with the double-headed axe walked towards him. Did they know that a sudden attack wouldn't kill him? But this kind of rogue encirclement was really cheating. No wonder the old knight brought one more to fight. But looking at it this way, this battle was actually very simple. As long as one of the vanguards on both sides was killed first, the winner would definitely be decided. So, "Come on!!" Xi De roared and charged, throwing his wood-chopping axe with a sudden swing. He was right. This barrier could only target him, but the flying axe thrown by Xi De with all his might couldn't be stopped.

These apostles had truly underestimated the existence of Eld. The throwing axe was so fast that the apostle wielding the two axes only had time to turn her head, but her entire left shoulder was cleaved open, blood gushing out like a fountain. Her severed left arm was hanging by only a thin sliver of flesh, and her bride-like white robe turned crimson in an instant.

"The battle is over!" Eld howled as he lunged forward. His plan was to seize the two-handed axe and begin his slaughter, but to his surprise, the axe, which seemed within reach, missed its mark. Instead, he grabbed the apostle's waist and pushed her to the ground.

Contrary to Eld's expectations of screaming or fainting, the apostle, dragging her severed arm, completely disregarded the fatal injury and excruciating pain. With just one hand, she swung the giant axe down at Eld's head, but Eld was a step ahead and pushed her down by the waist.

El Cid's head bumped right into the Apostle's warm, soft breasts, but this wasn't the time to take advantage. Realizing his situation, El Cid immediately lunged forward to grab the axe from the Apostle's right hand, but she didn't give him the chance. With a flick of her wrist, she tossed the axe aside, then grabbed El Cid's face with her right hand, wrapping her legs around his waist. The half of her face visible from her hood gleamed with golden light in her pupils.

"Holy crap!!" Gravity amplified once more, even more so than before. El Cid, supported by the Apostle, remained locked in this ambiguous position, frozen in place once more. And this time, the situation didn't improve. The Apostle's fingers gripping El Cid were like eagle claws, almost crushing his face, and through the gaps between her fingers, El Cid clearly noticed that the bleeding from the Apostle had stopped! If this continued, it was uncertain who would die!

"Hey, are you even capable?" The old knight's voice drifted over, "I'm getting old, these old bones can't take it anymore!" "Bragging! Talking nonsense! Ucanup! Nocanobb!" Under the intense pain and pressure, Xi De's mind was in chaos. He couldn't even breathe. What else could he do? Strangle this woman? But his left hand was holding the apostle's claw, and his right hand was supporting him on the ground. He couldn't free up any space!

"Damn it! Damn it!" Xi De felt like he heard his bones cracking. The most outrageous thing was that, at this critical moment, he actually got an erection. The female apostle wrapped her legs around his waist, probably trying to strangle him, but the stimulation from the woman's body was intense. Xi De clearly felt the apostle's hip bone staring at his penis. Damn it, he didn't even get a chance to ejaculate one more time... Oh! Wait a minute!

"Old man! Old man!" Cid howled, "What did you say would happen if I did that priestess from the Discipline Sect?!" "Huh? Her internal magic would go out of control and explode, wouldn't it? What time is it... Oh!!" The old knight understood.

The apostle clinging to Cid also understood, a hint of panic flashing in her golden pupils, which was undoubtedly the best encouragement for Cid.

"Ha! Haha! I fucking! I really am worthy! The male protagonist of a pornographic book!!" Cid was hysterical, frantically twisting his waist and rubbing against the female apostle's crotch, his convulsing appearance was just like a dog in heat. Moreover, the stimulation brought by the rape in front of everyone made Cid's crotch as hard as an iron rod.

It seemed even the heavens were on Cid's side. This time, it was truly fortunate he wasn't wearing armor, and since he'd just had sex with the priestess and his belt wasn't fastened properly, his writhing had somehow allowed him to pull his pants down himself. His dragon-like phallus pressed tightly against the apostle's crotch, pressing against her vaginal opening through a thin robe.

The hot, hard sensation from her lower body was so fresh, stimulating, and terrifying that the apostle's lips trembled. This man's madness was beyond her imagination, but now she couldn't even struggle or relax, because if she moved, the gravity barrier's secret technique would fail!

"Fight me! Fight me! Ahahahaha! Now you know fear, right! Ah! Afraid, right!" Cid savagely stuck out his tongue and licked the apostle's palm, copious amounts of saliva and sweat dripping through his fingers onto her face. The Apostle Judge, feared by mortals, was, after all, a woman. Though she had cultivated ruthlessness through secret arts to the point of being a mere tool, and was still a virgin, she was instinctively dominated by fear when faced with the rapist-like, crazed gaze of Cid.

"Gentlemen! I have a proposal!" the old knight interrupted again, spoiling the mood.

"Damn it!" Taking advantage of the female apostle's weakened state, Xi De actually pulled her hand off her face, and then morbidly sucked and licked each of her fingers, using his penis to make her body rise and fall. "This time, no matter what, I'm going to fuck her. It's too damn frustrating!!" The old knight ignored him. "You all know the explosive power when the holy magic is destroyed! The four closest to us will naturally not be spared. If such a terrible situation really occurs, the advantage will be on my side! Why don't we stop now! The three over there, release your restraints on my servants, let's shake hands and make peace. This time, let us live, and we'll settle things another day!" The apostles hesitated. They weren't worried about their companions' lives, but if things continued like this, they would really be helpless.

However, Xi De didn't care what agreement they reached. No man could hold back when things came to this. This time, death was death! So, without caring about anything else, Xi De grabbed the female apostle's hand, grabbed her buttocks, and thrust his hips in through the cloth!

"Ahhh!!" The female apostle screamed, her body arching, tears streaming down her face, mingling with the saliva of El Cid.

The surrounding female apostles were also stunned, watching helplessly as El Cid violently thrust into their bodies.

In that moment of distraction, the old knight moved. He hurled his longsword at El Cid and charged forward with all his might. The instant he leaped into the air, his bronze skin was covered by silver mane; by the second step, his body had doubled in size; and by the third landing, he had covered the dozens of paces between them, wolf claws bursting from the chest of the female apostle leader. At the same moment, the longsword pierced the chest of the woman wielding the spiked club who was blocking El Cid, the force of the sword so great that she was sent flying.

In that instant, Cid, with the female apostle around his waist, leaped up and flung her body away, sending her tumbling into a heap with the apostle wielding a spiked club. He then picked up a two-handed axe from the ground and cleaved them into four pieces with a single vertical slash.

As he pulled up his trousers to look at the old knight, the werewolf was already engaged in battle with the apostles who had recovered.

Now it was two against nine, the apostles still holding the advantage, but they made the same mistake again: trying to delay the old knight while sending three to take down Cid first. They didn't understand that Cid wasn't a supporting character, but the protagonist who needed to be dealt with with all their might!

"I'll cut!!" In the first exchange, the apostle facing Cid head-on was cut in half at the waist by the two-handed axe. Cid's strength surprised the apostle, but the apostle's strength also surprised Cid. The woman, now only her upper body, actually raised her two-handed sword and thrust it towards Cid's lower body, almost succeeding.

Sweating profusely, Cid quickly retreated a step, immediately finding himself surrounded by two more enemies. These two wielded dual scimitars and a short sword. Cid didn't possess the werewolf-like strength of the old knight; he couldn't possibly withstand the sword thrusts and slashes and kill with his fingernails. His two-handed axe was also unsuitable for parrying the rapid attacks of two sword-wielding apostles, so he could only dodge with all his might. But after only a few dodges, his body stiffened, and he almost got stabbed through the skin. It turned out that the apostle, now only half-bodied, was still casting a spell on him.

Cid now regretted not cleaving her in two with a vertical slash, but it was too late. The combined attack of these two apostles was surprisingly powerful, and seeing that further dodging would only create more openings, Cid decided to grit his teeth and fight like the old knight. He closed his eyes and began swinging his axe in a whirlwind attack.

His erratic movements actually left the two assassin-type apostles with nowhere to strike. As a result, in a moment of hesitation, Xi De threw his two-handed axe, smashing the head of the half-dead apostle on the ground to pieces, thus eliminating the threat. He then retreated towards the other apostle corpses to exchange weapons.

The old knight, surrounded by six men, had no chance to help. If they were just ordinary six knights, the old knight would have killed them in minutes. However, these female apostles, forged by the Church's secret arts, were far more ferocious than humans, employing a life-for-life fighting style. For example, even after being swept away by a claw, their breasts shattered, they wouldn't utter a sound and would continue to lunge forward to cling to the old knight's leg, only to be stabbed through the heart by their teammates, impaling the two together.

But the old knight was far more experienced in combat. Seeing the female apostle, her chest mangled and bloody, lunge at him instead of retreating, he twisted her head with one claw, tearing it to shreds. He then ripped her abdomen open, her hot entrails gushing out. He used her as a shield to counter-charge.

The apostle following behind, as usual, used her teammate's cover to thrust her sword, but this time her vision was obscured. The sword was stuck in her spine, unable to advance. The old knight's claws had already torn through the shield's body, twisting the sword-wielding apostle's head, pulling out her cervical vertebrae with a slight pull.

The gruesome death of his teammate had no effect on the remaining apostles. Taking advantage of the old knight's inability to retaliate, another apostle leaped up, wielding a heavy hammer, and smashed it down on the werewolf's skull. The old knight dodged with a quick turn, but his left shoulder, severely injured, cracked with a sharp sound before collapsing completely. He slapped the attacker's head away, sending him sprawling. Gasping for breath, the old knight faced the remaining three, his left arm hanging limply at his side. His strength was exhausted!

There wouldn't be a better chance! The two guards who had been standing beside the apostle high priest, wielding his iron staff, exchanged a glance, screamed, and charged forward. But facing their charge, the old knight merely grinned, twisted his shoulder, and reattached his severed arm. What should have been a fatal shattered scapula was, in the face of the werewolf's frenzied regenerative abilities, a mere joke, barely even a dislocation.

The charging guards were filled with despair. One stopped, watching his teammate rush like a moth to a flame into the werewolf's impenetrable steel claws, exploding into a bloody spray. He collapsed weakly to the ground, his will to fight gone.

The apostle high priest turned to look at the other side of the battle, hoping for a miracle.

A miracle did indeed occur, but not on their side. The squire casually drew the old knight's longsword. The outcome was decided.

Cid didn't know how to describe the feeling; he knew the idea of a divine artifact recognizing its master was absurd and melodramatic, but he couldn't find the right words. It was like reuniting with a long-lost friend; a warm current surged from Cid's palm.

Cid knew he probably couldn't feel any better in battle, so he turned to face the two pursuing apostles and swung his sword.

As if guided by some unseen force, the blade pierced the chest of the short-sword apostle with deadly accuracy, as if she had run into the sword tip herself. But it wasn't over yet. The moment it pierced her body, Xi De could feel the blade burning hot. He obediently followed the guidance of that force, swinging the longsword horizontally as if human muscles and bones didn't exist. The blade slashed at the double-sword apostle, who raised her twin blades to block. But Xi De clearly saw the blades slice through like tofu. The sword tip cut into the apostle's carotid artery without any resistance, leaving a smooth, perfect cut in the whirlwind of blood. The spine and ribs offered no resistance, as if there were gaps within the apostle's body, and Xi De used the blade to cleave her apart.

Xi De, who had killed two with a single, casual swing, was completely stunned. This ejaculation-like pleasure was slightly exhilarating.

He raised his longsword and saw a torrent of blood surging across its blade as if it were alive, washing away the rust and grime until the two-finger-wide blade was revealed, radiating a dim golden glow.

Suddenly, Xi De felt invincible.

"The Demon-Slaying Sword. The Eye of Sigurd!" The Apostle High Priest, wielding a silver staff, trembled violently. "So you were the former Grand Knight Commander! You're still alive!" The werewolf turned the head of the tearful, terrified female apostle a full 180 degrees, calmly watching her corpse fall to the dust. He turned to the last apostle of the Inquisition, "No, according to the Emperor's decree, she is a heretic." Then he lunged forward, pounced on the Apostle High Priest, and opened his blood-red maw to devour her beautifully preserved face, maintained with secret magic.

"What's with this sword? It's awesome!" Xi De twirled the sword, asking the old knight who had reverted to human form and was spitting out bits of flesh from his mouth, practically buzzing with excitement.

"Just a mysterious artifact passed down through generations. I thought I'd never see it shine again. So, taking you as my disciple was also driven by some kind of 'mystery.' Not many people know about it anymore, but it's best not to use it carelessly," the old knight shook his head with a sense of loss. "But why didn't the holy magic activate just now?" "Oh, it got stuck in her urethra." Xi De knew what he meant, turning to look at the female apostle's crotch, which was covered in blood.

The old knight looked at Xi De and spat a mouthful of blood all over him.

"Hey! Old man! You don't have to be like this just because you're speechless!" Xi De rushed over and helped the old knight up. What happened? There were no external injuries!

"...Holy Lance Technique." The old knight ripped open his armor, revealing his once-sturdy abdominal muscles completely deformed and collapsed. The muscle lines were twisted and contorted in a bizarre way, as if pulled downwards by the hand of gravity, forming an arrowhead piercing through from top to bottom, like a javelin thrusting straight in. "That's the limit..." Xi De felt a chill run down his spine. Was that gravity-based restriction really this vicious?! He quickly pulled up his clothes, finding nothing amiss.

"You're not a fallen one. The goddess won't punish you." The old knight knelt on the ground, panting heavily, vomiting his own blood and internal organs. "I won't live much longer. Your act...it's probably too late. Well, I don't think you're the kind of man who's so easily killed. Let's do it now." Xi De looked at him with a complex expression. "Do you have any last wishes?" The old knight thought seriously for a while, considering many things and many people, but looking at the young squire, he finally shook his head calmly.

Epilogue

When the second-rate Inquisition Knights in the noble manor woke up from their hangover, they were told that the incident was over.

Although the female knight commander didn't quite believe the squire's words, the Discipline priests refused to use the "memory confirmation" spell again. However, having witnessed the horrific destruction of the apostles during the higher trials, they dared not pursue the matter further. They returned to the city with the old knight's body, reporting the story as that of Eld and the old knight.

Several days later, a joint decree from the regional bishop and governor arrived, acknowledging Eld's merit in eliminating heretics. However, as a squire who hadn't formally pledged allegiance, there was no reason for reward, so the reward was postponed. Instead, he was transferred to the Bronze City on the front lines against the demons, serving as a cavalry captain, to be assessed based on his future military achievements.

The noblewoman, however, was considered to have accepted the werewolves' allegiance and couldn't clear her name. Although her report mitigated some of her crimes, the numerous deaths and injuries caused meant she was stripped of her hereditary noble title and severely fined. Eld never heard from her again; she was presumably dead.

As for the whereabouts of the werewolf girl and Little Red Riding Hood, Xi De had been secretly keeping an eye on them, but due to the continuous warfare in the Bronze City, news was scarce. It wasn't until he was promoted to Grand Master of the Inquisition Knights that he found this entry in the Inquisition's archives:

"Slaying a female werewolf, an underage fallen one, who died clutching a red package containing a female mummified corpse, identity unknown." That was the whole story.
