whipping the horse to gallop, while the demons relentlessly pursue them. Her wounded son lies dying at his mother's feet. The goddess, chariot in hand, wept as she looked down at her son.
He was dying; without his divine power, they could not defeat the demon. What to do? She had to find a successor for him. The goddess
grabbed her unconscious son with her large hand
and tucked him into her battle robe. The situation was dire; the demon was closing in.
