Chapter Two: First Kill

After the teleportation ended, Fang Tang quickly scanned the area and found it had been ravaged by artillery fire,

with ruins everywhere. He took out his pistol, gripping it with both hands to effectively counteract the recoil. His obese

body moved slowly through the ruins, stopping occasionally to observe. Looking at the distant flashes of artillery fire and

listening to the sounds, he estimated the distance to the front lines to be about 1 kilometer. However, Fang Tang was more concerned about

which side's defense zone this was. If it belonged to the Kamen Riders, then things would be troublesome.

However, Fang Tang immediately realized he was in deep trouble. This was indeed the Kamen Riders' defense zone, because Fang Tang

saw a group of six Kamen Rider soldiers ramming a door. He vaguely heard sounds coming from inside the room, and Fang Tang's heart

tightened. Should he go to rescue them? But he had never killed anyone, or even fired a gun.

While Fang Tang hesitated, the door was smashed open, and five Kamen Riders rushed in, while one remained

outside , seemingly guarding the door but constantly watching inside. It was the sound of women calling for help, and more than one at that. Fang Tang

hesitated. Even if he wanted to save the man, his own life might be in danger. After all, the opponent was the Japanese who had defeated

the government army . Fang Tang slapped himself: "Damn it,

when I watched those anti-Japanese war charlatans, I always wanted to kill the Japanese to avenge my compatriots. Even if this isn't the Celestial Empire, they're still

Japanese!"

Without further hesitation, Fang Tang quietly circled around. The Japanese soldier at the door had lost his guard and was easily killed by

a novice. Fang Tang looked at the struggling Japanese soldier on the ground, glanced around, and

immediately dragged the Japanese soldier into a nearby alley and covered him with something. Although it was his first time killing someone, he felt a little

uncomfortable , but the thought that he might be killed if he didn't made him feel better. The rifle was too long,

so he could only place it next to the body. He only collected bayonets and bullets; there were no grenades. He was too poor. But even if

he had grenades, Fang Tang didn't dare throw one into the house. That would wipe out the Japanese soldiers,

but the rescue plan would be ruined.

Fang Tang went outside again and peered into the room. He saw only two soldiers and a screaming

woman pinned to a low table. The woman's clothes had been ripped off; her open top revealed her full breasts, and

her naked lower body was struggling. Her pubic area, covered in a dark forest, was directly facing the doorway. Looking at the

pinkish vulva hidden among the thicket, Fang Tang swallowed hard, feeling a stirring in his lower body. One of the soldiers

held down the woman's hands, while the other pulled down her pants and tied her ankles to the table leg,

then unbuckled his belt. The soldier holding down the woman's hands also tied them, then, leering, moved to the front,

unbuckling his belt. The soldier who started unbuckling had already pulled down his pants, revealing his weapon. In this

tense atmosphere, Fang Tang almost laughed. That short, dark thing—could it really be used?

There was no chance to use a knife; he'd have to use a pistol. Fang Tang held the gun with both hands, less than four steps away. Even

a blind man wouldn't miss.

Aiming at the demon who was about to mount with his matchstick, Fang Tang pulled the trigger. A dull gunshot rang out, and the demon's

head exploded. Fang Tang opened his mouth in surprise; he had clearly aimed at the demon's back. Before Fang Tang could even marvel at

his luck, a second shot rang out, but it only hit the demon's shoulder. A follow-up shot finished him off. The woman looked up

from the , nervously watching Fang Tang. He hadn't paid much attention earlier because of the distance and the bad angle, but now that he was

so close, he realized that although the woman was young, her appearance was only average, far less attractive than his girlfriend.

Although his lust had subsided somewhat, Fang Tang still didn't untie the woman's ropes. He just whispered, "

Don't make a sound . Where are the other demons?" The woman was still somewhat terrified, just looking at Fang Tang, seemingly not yet recovered.

The sound of Fang Tang's Type 57 pistol was much quieter than weapons of this era, and it seemed not to have alerted the demons inside. Just

in case, Fang Tang changed the magazine. Although it only had 7 bullets, it should be enough to deal with the three

.

Before he could release the woman on the table, he heard noises upstairs and immediately went up quietly. The girl upstairs

wasn't as lucky as the girl downstairs; four naked bodies were intertwined. A thin, wiry man lay supine, his penis

already inserted into the girl's vagina, his hands kneading her breasts, changing their shape.

A man with a mustache pressed his penis against the girl's pert buttocks, his arms twisted behind her back, forcing her to lift her upper body,

making her breasts even more prominent. A bow-legged man stood, shoving his penis into the girl's mouth, his hands

pulling at her long black hair. Tears streamed from the girl's tightly closed eyes, her thin body

trembling amidst the lewd laughter of the three men.

Perhaps it was luck, or perhaps the three men were too trusting of their companions outside, but they all lowered

their guard, together humiliating the poor girl. Fang Tang fired continuously without hesitation, emptying a magazine before

finally taking down the three men. The girl, pinned down by the three corpses, struggled, but she couldn't muster any strength. Fang Tang

stepped forward , moved the body aside, and used a nearby garment to cover the girl who was quietly weeping.

The two girls hugged and cried for a while, while Fang Tang sorted through the weapons and ammunition: six Type 38 rifles,

87 rounds of ammunition, two hand grenades, and six bayonets. There were quite a few guns, but only one could be used at most; the two

girls didn't know how to use rifles and needed protection. But Fang Tang thought for a moment—he himself was barely able to protect himself, how could

he protect the two girls? Fang Tang handed two bayonets to the girls: "You two need to leave quickly, it's not safe here."

The older girl, who had been rescued first, bowed and thanked him: "Thank you for saving my life, sir. My name is Zheng Minglan,

and this is my younger sister, Zheng Mingju." Fang Tang waved his hand: "Alright, the situation is urgent

now coming. You need to leave quickly." "Thank you, sir. Aren't you coming with us?" "I

can't leave for now. Do you know the way out?" "I know a small path, it's very hidden. If you're careful, you should

n't encounter any ghosts." "That's good. You need to go quickly." Zheng Minglan took Zheng Mingju's hand. The little girl still

hadn't recovered from the nightmare, and probably never would.

Watching the two girls stagger into the alleyway ravaged by gunfire, Fang Tang could only

sigh . Perhaps they would never see each other again.

Although this was enemy-occupied territory, it wasn't far from the fighting. It was best to move quickly.

After destroying five rifles, Fang Tang quietly left with only one rifle, ammunition, and bayonets.

Along the way, they encountered three more patrols of the Oni, but managed to avoid them all without incident. From a two-story

building, they could see the government forces' defensive zone, but the ongoing fierce fighting made Fang Tang worried;

venturing through would only result in being wiped out by a combined attack from both sides. Without a map and having never been to this city before,

they had no idea where to go. Fang Tang regretted not bringing the two girls with him; at least one of them would know the way.

Just as Fang Tang was feeling frustrated, something strange happened on the battlefield. The Oni soldiers, who had been suppressing

the government forces suddenly began to retreat. Fang Tang was positioned at the rear of the position; if the Oni retreated, they would inevitably

pass through this area. Fang Tang didn't have time to think further and had to return the way he came. Gradually, Fang Tang realized that the Oni weren't simply

retreating, but had been routed. The Oni soldiers' formation was crumbling, and they were completely routed.

Fang Tang inwardly groaned; how could they be defeated so easily? He didn't remember this scene in his history textbook

. The Japanese were supposed to be overwhelming the government forces with sheer numbers, with a single Japanese tank requiring an entire

squad of government soldiers to fight to the death. However, if it weren't for the government forces' fierce resistance, which also resulted in heavy

casualties , the massacre wouldn't have happened.

But now the situation was reversed; how could the government forces possibly be overwhelming the Japanese? Forget about hiding, Fang Tang,

panting heavily, sat down in an abandoned house, completely exhausted. He started blaming himself

for not exercising regularly; if he did, he wouldn't be so tired after just a few steps.

Japanese reinforcements advanced from another direction, startling Fang Tang into hiding in a pile of rubble.

Fortunately, the Japanese troops were rushing to reinforce the front lines and hadn't thoroughly searched the ruins. Just as Fang Tang was wiping away sweat

, he tragically discovered that the battle line was deadlocked less than 50 meters away from him, making him even more frustrated. Large numbers of Japanese troops were passing by on the road

nearby ; any movement would likely result in immediate detection.

The fighting ceased as dusk fell, seemingly indicating that the Kazuki army was under unprecedented

pressure . Fang Tang was puzzled; what had happened to allow the government forces to hold off the Kazuki?

Having gone without food or water all day, Fang Tang felt increasingly desperate; his stomach rumbled, sending chills down his

spine, leaving him utterly weak and sweating profusely. What to do? Fang Tang was completely at a loss. Just then,

the aroma of food wafted over; it was Kazuki's mealtime. A group of cooks in white uniforms

slowly pushed several carts to within a few dozen meters of the front lines, then dispersed to allow Kazuki's soldiers

to serve their food .
