Chapter 113 The Giant Beast

Faced with such a well-trained and disciplined army of thieves, even

a peerless master like the Netherworld Mother was greatly troubled. Although her movements were swift and her inner strength formidable, the thieves, arrayed in rows,

pressed forward like an overwhelming tidal wave. She felled one row, only to have another rise up. The Black Wind Thieves howled and roared, fearless and relentless

in their advance.

Such ferocious thieves were truly rare in the world. Soon, the Netherworld Mother was surrounded,

fighting alone, unable to attend to the large carriage shrouded in black cloth. The thief leader, the burly man with the wide mouth, and the

thin man were also curious about the carriage. From the beginning, they had noticed that the Dark Knights were very protective of it, not

allowing anyone to approach. What exactly was inside the carriage?

Driven by this curiosity, the burly man, seeing that the Holy Mother of the Underworld was trapped and the carriage was unguarded, disregarded

his internal injuries and strode to the carriage. He ordered his thieves, "Uncover this cloth! I want to see what treasure is

inside !"

A thief leader agreed and tried tapping the carriage with his knife, producing a metallic clanging

sound , indicating that it was an iron cage. He tried to tear the black cloth, but couldn't open it after several attempts, so he used his knife to cut

several large openings. It was too dark inside; everything was pitch black, and nothing could be seen.

The thief leader brought a torch, and when it shone, it was clear that the black cloth covered a large iron cage. Inside the cage

was a huge black demonic beast, not some treasure. The beast lay prone in the cage, its large eyes

shining like searchlights in the darkness. It resembled a tiger, its body covered in long, straight black fur that

gleamed in the firelight.

"Captain, it's a magical beast!"

the bandit leader shouted.

"A magical beast!"

The burly man with the wide mouth paused slightly, then ordered his men to bring the torches closer so he could examine it more closely. After seeing the beast in the cage,

he exclaimed in surprise, "A black tiger! What kind of magical beast is this?"

"Captain, the Dark Prison is protecting it so tightly, locking it in an iron cage. I think it must be a high-level magical beast!"

the bandit leader said excitedly. "Captain, we've struck it rich this time!"

The burly man nodded, deeply agreeing. If it really was a high-level magical beast, it would definitely be a fortune.

He immediately said, "Keep a close eye on it. Once we've dealt with the Dark Demon, take it away!"

At this moment, the situation was extremely unfavorable for the people of the Dark Demon Prison. The Black Wind Thieves were numerous, dividing and surrounding

the experts . Whether it was the Dark Knights or the Dark Banshees, they all had to face dozens or even hundreds of Black Wind

Thieves. The Dark Knights fell one after another, their numbers dwindling. Even several Dark Banshees were injured

and captured.

Seeing that even the Netherworld Mother was trapped and engaged in a fierce battle, Hua Yanniang, sensing the dire situation, maneuvered while

shouting, "Assemble with me! Charge! Assemble with me!"

Hearing the order, the captain of the Bright Light team unleashed his prowess, charging forward fiercely. A whooshing

sound filled the air as four daggers simultaneously and viciously thrust forward.

Mingguang grunted, then suddenly shifted to the side, causing the two spears aimed at his face and chest to miss.

The spear aimed at his lower abdomen grazed his waist with a sharp "swoosh," and a spearhead pierced his left shoulder, penetrating the armor and

embedding itself in his flesh, causing blood to gush out.

Despite the injury, Mingguang had already closed in on his opponents, roaring, "Die!"

With a powerful swing of his knife, he cleaved the two Black Wind bandits' bayonet-wielders in front of him in half at the waist. Amidst screams,

crimson blood sprayed all over Mingguang.

The other Black Wind bandits cried out in surprise: intimidated by Mingguang's reckless spirit and wanting to create

distance to unleash the power of their long weapons, they all retreated several steps.

Freed, Captain Mingguang immediately broke free and charged towards Hua Yanniang. Seeing his blood-covered,

murderous appearance, the Black Wind bandits along the way dared not stop him, allowing him to rush past without hindrance.

The two fought side-by-side, back to back. With the light protecting their rear, Hua Yanniang's spirits soared.

A flash of sword light, and the Black Wind bandits felt their hands lighten as the tips of four spears were simultaneously severed. Before they could react, Hua

Yanniang had already moved forward, closing in on the Black Wind bandits' spearmen for close combat.

Her movements were fluid, like mercury flowing across the ground. Her sword flashed like waves,

penetrating every crevice of the Black Wind bandits' spear formation, and then suddenly opened up with powerful, thunderous strikes. More than a dozen Black Wind bandits' spearmen

couldn't withstand this seemingly frail woman!

In no time, five men were cut down one after another, their mouths full of dirt. The others couldn't

even tell how they were killed! Although it was a multi-person attack, each person felt like

the primary target, every move and strike seemingly aimed at them, and they were in grave danger.

Forced to retreat step by step by the exquisite and sharp swordsmanship,

the two struggled forward, approaching the Netherworld Mother. The three then

gradually gathered the Dark Knights and Dark Banshees who were scattered throughout the battle, forming a small circle back to back, protecting

the wounded in the center. However, due to the Dark Knights' regrouping, the Black Wind Thieves' attack also intensified.

They surrounded the people of the Dark Demon Prison.

Hua Yanniang looked around and saw sharp spears, machetes, and the ferocious faces of the Black Wind Thieves everywhere. A

shout rang out above the dense crowd of Black Wind Thieves' heads: "Don't let them escape!"

Large groups of Black Wind Thieves with spears and knives charged forward, the thrusting

spears as dense as trees in a forest. The massive Black Wind bandits charged and fought relentlessly, shouting and clashing. Blood

splattered fell, and new ones surged forward, continuing the battle…

The terrifying attacks came wave after wave, like the relentless surge of the tide,

showing no sign of abating, but instead growing increasingly ferocious. The immense pressure from the Black Wind bandits forced the Dark Prison's

encirclement to shrink ever smaller.

Yet, the Dark Prison's experts persisted in their resistance, not a single one surrendering.

Around their desperately resisting circle, countless corpses lay piled high, layer upon layer. The

heavy casualties on both sides created a wall of corpses, so much so that the Dark Prison's members could use this mass of bodies to build a fortified position.

The corpses formed a protective breastwork, and the charging Black Wind Thieves leaped atop the pile of corpses to attack from above, until

they themselves were cut down and became part of the massacre.

The Black Wind Thieves' relentless assault continued, and the Dark Prison's experts fought to the death, the blood flowing like rivers. In this

battle, the Dark Knights were incredibly brave. Their hands were numb with exhaustion, their spears broke, so they used swords, their

blades chipped and dulled, yet they still mustered their remaining strength, desperately hacking and slashing at the attackers.

Some were already in their final moments, their vision blurred, some could no longer stand

, only kneeling on the ground. Even so, they fought to the death, not retreating, for

there was nowhere to retreat; behind them lay the backs of their comrades.

The Netherworld Mother and Flower Beauty fought desperately. At this point, all their techniques of counter-attacking and waiting for the right moment

were useless. Faced with the onslaught of spears and cleavers, all they could do was continuously wield

their whisks, their swords clashing against the enemy's weapons, producing a constant clanging

sound.

No one knew how many deadly attacks were deflected in that instant, but new ones immediately

followed, wave after wave… After a while, the Netherworld Mother's face turned pale, she was slightly out of breath, and felt

her strength waning. Flower Beauty was even more exhausted, panting and drenched in sweat. If they were in such a state, the others were even

worse off.

In the midst of the chaos, Flower Beauty glanced behind her and saw the despair on Mingguang's face

. There were few left to fight beside her.

She realized that her death was imminent.

Just as the people of the Dark Demon Prison were isolated and helpless, sinking into despair… Suddenly, a terrifying roar came from

the northwest , growing louder and louder.

A commotion immediately arose among the Black Wind Thieves. They stopped attacking, their faces showing strange suspicion

as they asked each other, "What's going on?"

A bare-handed Black Wind Thief, pale-faced, ran over, shouting, "It's bad! Enemies are

attacking!"

Behind him, large groups of Black Wind Thieves surged forward like wolves and rabbits, disoriented

and confused, breaking up the circle of Black Wind Thieves surrounding the Netherworld Mother and Flower Maiden.

As they ran, they shouted, "Monsters! Monsters!"

As if to confirm their claims, a deep, powerful roar echoed from the darkness of the wasteland:

"Awooo..."

Thump, thump... The ground shook and trembled, as if a giant beast was rising.

Instantly, the Black Wind bandits were thrown into chaos. No one paid any attention to the remaining, barely standing dark

figures ; the priority was dealing with this new, unknown, and terrifying enemy.

The burly man with the wide mouth quickly mounted his warhorse and began directing the battle, shouting, "Don't panic! Don't panic!"

The exhausted Black Wind bandits turned their spears, barely managing to form ranks to meet the sudden attack. But

the shrewd had already secretly slipped away. They

realized that the Black Wind bandits had suffered repeated defeats tonight, their morale was low, and their soldiers were exhausted. And with this unknown monster, the Black Wind bandits were surely in grave danger.

A deafening roar—a deafening howl echoed from the darkness, reverberating across the wasteland. The howl was strangely

piercing , like a sharp needle piercing the eardrum and head. The burly man

screamed in agony, his vision blurred, and he tumbled off his horse.

Fortunately, the burly man with the wide mouth had a strong will and endured the excruciating pain in his head, managing not to faint on the spot. However, he was too

weak to stand up and could only lie on the ground, panting heavily. All he could hear were continuous screams,

cries of alarm, and the neighing of warhorses, a chaotic cacophony.

"Commander! Commander! Wake up, wake up!"

Someone helped the burly man up. He forced his eyes open, but immediately closed them again,

groaning , "Am I dreaming?"

"Commander, even dreams don't have this!"

From the angle from which the burly man lay, the sky was completely obscured, shadows loomed over

the entire area, and a sense of oppressive power pressed down like a stone. A monster with a long neck and a ferocious head slowly

appeared in the night sky, its two eyes like two large lanterns hanging in the night, looking down at the tiny creatures

below .

With a series of heavy, thumping footsteps, the colossal figure of the beast finally emerged from the darkness. Its massive

body stood several meters tall, and an irresistible sense of oppression washed over them, as if a mountain were

rushing towards them. The burly man with the wide mouth felt his scalp tingle.

Suddenly, the monster opened its mouth, its sharp teeth gleaming in the night air. A piercing scream tore through everyone

's eardrums once more: "Boom!"

Like a bolt from the blue, the earth trembled. Many warhorses were driven mad by the roar, leaping

and running . Some warhorses collapsed to the ground in terror, defecating everywhere.

One bandit cavalryman was the most unfortunate; his mount, terrified, charged straight at the beast

. The bandit cavalryman, his face pale with fear, screamed repeatedly from his horse: "Help me! Someone help me!"

The beast swung its forepaw, sending the bandit cavalryman and his horse flying several meters into the air before crashing heavily to

the ground , instantly dead. The warhorse, however, was not yet dead, lying on the ground and neighing pitifully, sending chills down everyone's spine.

Amidst the chaos, some of the more resolute Black Wind bandits reacted, raising their

bows and firing arrows at the monster.

Arrows rained down, but the giant beast simply trembled, the arrows sliding off its body

as if unaffected!

Facing the rain of arrows, the beast charged forward ferociously, the ground trembling violently with each step.

In just a few strides, the beast plunged into the bandit ranks. With a swipe of its forepaws, two Black Wind bandits were seized,

torn in two with screams, their bloody remains tossed about, scattering flesh and blood everywhere. The beast caught a piece of flesh in

mid-air and swallowed it whole.

Wherever the beast went, flesh and blood flew, Black Wind bandits screaming as it trampled them to pieces, tearing them into

bloody fragments, which it devoured. The beast was enormous; its bare legs were taller than a person. Encountering it would be the Black Wind Thieves'

worst luck; they would either be dead or seriously injured.

"Run for your lives! We can't handle it!"

Witnessing the behemoth devour its prey, the Black Wind bandits were utterly terrified, losing all remaining courage. Too fearful to think,

they could only act on instinct, their most basic reaction being to flee.

The people of the Dark Prison didn't flee; they wanted to, but they lacked the strength, forced to watch helplessly

as this scene unfolded before them.

It was the most tragic and terrifying moment: the once-mighty Black Wind bandit army crumbled, fleeing in all directions. Horses

neighed wildly, the crowd was in disarray, bandit cavalrymen were carried off in disarray by their out-of-control steeds, unconscious bandits fell to the ground,

trampled to death, cries of terror rising and falling.

Seeing the army utterly routed, the gaunt man hastily pulled the limp, broad-mouthed giant onto a warhorse,

whipping it relentlessly, caring nothing for anything but speed. The fleeing masses

raced onward, pursued by the roaring behemoth.

Roars and screams echoed behind them. The Black Wind Thieves dared not turn back, charging in a chaotic frenzy.

Those on horseback whipped their steeds desperately, while those without could only run for their lives, discarding their swords and

spears as they fled. Some Black Wind Thieves were too slow; a giant trotter came crashing down, and

they were crushed into a bloody pulp with screams.

The surviving experts of the Dark Demon Prison watched as the giant beast chased after the Black Wind Thieves. Hua Yanniang and the others exchanged bewildered glances, not

understanding what was happening. The Netherworld Mother was the calmest, gazing in the direction the giant beast had gone, and said, "That's a sub-super

magical beast, a Steel-Armored Tyrannosaurus! Strange, how could a Steel-Armored Tyrannosaurus appear in this place?"
