One, Chapter One: In Yangzhou, a woman single-mindedly marries a beautiful woman; in Huayan, she secretly encounters a lover .

A poem says: Enemies who are destined to meet will inevitably meet; when they meet, who can resist romance? Resentment always arises from kindness; what enmity is there without

love?

It is said that during the Song Dynasty, in the Jiangnan province, there was a scholar named Huang Shangqing, whose wife was Zhao. That year, he passed the imperial examination with top honors

and was appointed magistrate of Anyang County, Henan. Unexpectedly, Zhao fell ill at home and died within a month.

The scholar was heartbroken and had to arrange her burial. Feeling lonely, he sought solace in books. After some time,

he decided to remarry. However, there were no exceptional beauties in his area. Thinking of the beautiful scenery of Yangzhou, he decided to go there first,

marry a woman, and then take up his post. Having made his decision, he took a few family members and arrived in Yangzhou one day.

Upon entering the official inn, he immediately found a matchmaker. The high-ranking official instructed, "Find a

gentleman who is both talented and handsome, with unparalleled beauty; a generous reward will follow." The matchmaker, upon hearing this, kowtowed and left. As she left the shop, she pondered the matter, concluding that only the daughter of Cai Jiansheng

in Guihua Lane unparalleled beauty and refined elegance; she thought she could be a suitable wife.

She decided to visit the Cai family first. Soon, she entered the Cai family's gate and saw Cai Jiansheng in the main room, wearing glasses and reading a book. The matchmaker stepped forward

to greet him, asking, "What book are you reading, sir?" Cai Jiansheng replied, "It's 'The Story of the Red Plum Blossom.'"

The matchmaker then asked, "What language does it speak of?" Jiansheng said, "My literacy is limited, so I

don't understand it entirely. It's roughly a story about men and women in love and romance. What brings you to my house?" The matchmaker

then explained the situation.

The student repeatedly said, "If you wish to marry Xian, please do so. But if she is to be a concubine, my family, being a local official, will absolutely not agree

."

The matchmaker said, "I truly wish to marry a lady; sir, please do not doubt me." The student then spoke with the woman, Wang, and she immediately

agreed.

The matchmaker took her leave and went to the official inn to report the matter.

Minister Huang happily said, "My departure date is urgent. I will send the gifts tomorrow morning, and the wedding

will depart for my post in this province to settle my wife, so I have no time to inquire further. Please be careful."

The matchmaker also stayed at the inn. At dawn, he prepared satin, hairpins, and three hundred taels of silver as betrothal gifts and sent them to the Cai family.

Because he did not have time to prepare the dowry, Minister Cai gave five hundred taels of silver as compensation and personally escorted his daughter to the wedding. He was not spared the formalities of bowing and exchanging vows. One day, after

the banquet , in the evening, Minister Huang and the bride removed their hats and clothes. Upon closer inspection, he realized she was only twenty-nine years old. Indeed:

more eloquent than flowers, more fragrant than jade.

The high-ranking official was overjoyed, personally removing his undergarments to reveal a fair and delicate body, adorned with a pair of tiny, exquisite lotus feet

, their beauty radiating affection. The couple traveled with ease, arriving at their ancestral home in just a few days. They entrusted

all household affairs, large and small, to Cai, and set off on their journey. But let's leave that aside.

Cai, having grown up traveling throughout Yangzhou, was remarkably quick-witted. Upon arriving at the Huang family home, she felt quite

constrained, having become a lady. After more than two months, she spoke to her maid, Ailian, saying, "Is there anywhere

to visit here? I'd like to relax and unwind." Ailian replied, "Huayan Temple is very lively; it's a perfect place to relax." Upon hearing this,

the lady immediately dressed herself impeccably, becoming as beautiful as a flower, like a celestial being. She and Ailian boarded a sedan chair

and went to Huayan Temple. Indeed, it was the Huayan Temple:

the bell tower soared straight into the blue sky, golden bells at the corners of the hall jingled in the breeze. Auspicious vapors rose from the incense burner, and the three precious statues gleamed in purple gold.

The lady arrived before the hall, paid homage to the Buddha statues, bowed four times, and then toured the various scenic spots in the rear hall before

returning home after noon.

Meanwhile, in the temple rested a pearl seller from Guangdong named Cao Yuexin, just over twenty years old. He was

exceptionally handsome and intelligent, with a face as white as powder. In Guangdong, where women were known for their promiscuity, who wouldn't be attracted to such a handsome

young man ? Therefore, he was nicknamed "Idol." His parents had come from Jiangnan to sell pearls and

stayed at this temple. That day, while strolling in the hall, he suddenly bumped into Lady Cai, and was so startled that his soul flew out of his body. He

followed her sedan chair all the way to the Huang Yamen, where he saw Lady Cai enter. What will happen next? Let's find out in the next chapter. Chapter Two:

Cao

Ma's Clever Plan with the Lost Pearl; Madam's Lustful Thoughts at Midnight

. Now, when Ai Dou saw Madam enter the inner chambers, he diligently inquired about her. Master Huang had taken office, and Madam,

a native of Yangzhou, was alone at home. He returned to the temple, and spent the entire night tossing and turning, lost in thought: "In Guangdong, I've met many women,

but none have been as elegant as this beauty. What should I do? If I enter the inner chambers and see her one more time, I'd die happy."

The next morning, after rising and washing, he strolled to the front hall, bowed deeply, and said, "Disciple Cao Yuexin, I

came here to sell pearls. Yesterday, I saw Madam Huang, and my heart was captivated by her. Disciple earnestly beseeches the gods: if fate decrees a marriage between us,

I beg for the highest divination slip. If not, I beg for the lowest." Holding the slip container, he drew the third slip, which read: "A

predestined relationship from a past life, now bound by a thread. Keep your mouth shut like a bottle, do not utter a word before anyone. "

Overjoyed, he bowed several times to the gods and said, "If this disciple's wish is fulfilled, I shall offer sacrifices on the banner."

Returning to his bedroom, he devised a brilliant plan: he must disguise himself as a woman selling pearls, using the pretense of selling them to gain entry into the inner chambers.

Perhaps this would work. However, his feet were large; how could he possibly find a pair of large women's shoes to wear? Oh well, he would

simply lower his skirt. He quickly took a packet of fine pearls and a string of small beads, placing them beside him. He hurried to a secondhand clothing store and

bought a blue silk shirt, a white silk skirt, an undergarment, a headscarf, and the like. He went to a secluded ancestral hall and began to dress.

Looking perfectly presentable, he stepped out of the hall and looked in a well; he was indistinguishable from a woman. Emboldened, he went to the Huang

family's residence.

The gatekeeper, seeing he was a woman selling pearls, did not stop him. He walked step by step to the back of the hall and saw Madam Huang in the courtyard, watching

goldfish play in the water. The idol, speaking in Yangzhou dialect, called out, "Greetings, Madam! Here are some beautiful pearls; please show them to Madam

." Madam replied, "Since you have such fine pearls, bring them to my room, Chunlai." Hearing this, the idol turned and went into the fragrant room,

looking around; it truly was a paradise. Madam said, "Sit down." Ailian then brought tea and they drank. The idol took out a

box of the fine pearls and examined it. Madam picked out more than ten pearls and asked, "Are there any more?" The idol replied,

"There are plenty." He then took out the string of pearls from his sleeve, opened it, and found that the top was knotted, but the bottom was deliberately untied. He

twisted the bottom half and gave it to Madam. Madam took it, and the idol released it, causing the pearls

to tumble to the ground, startling Madam so much that her face turned bright red. The idol said, "Madam, don't worry, let me pick them up."

With that, he turned and searched. He picked up more than twenty pearls and said, "There were a full sixty pearls; only more than half are missing."

Because it had rolled into the cracks in the bricks, and it was getting late, it would be better to look for it again tomorrow. The lady said

, "What are you saying? If you turn away and find a few missing tomorrow, just say my maids took them. You can

stay here tonight and look again tomorrow morning. Don't worry about whether you find them or not." Hearing that she could

stay . She said, "How could I disturb you here, Madam?" The lady said, "That's alright. I'm just afraid

your husband is waiting for you over there." Ai Dou said, "My husband has been gone for two years, and the mourning period is over." The lady

asked , "What is your surname?" Ai Dou replied, "My humble surname is Cao." "The lady then instructed Ailian to prepare wine and

food .

Soon, candles were lit, and dinner was laid out. The lady invited her to sit, and Ailian poured wine. The lady said to Ailian,

'Don't walk around here. You might slip that pearl into your shoe; it will be hard to find tomorrow.

You can leave the wine pot here. Go and eat dinner, and come back to your room before bed.' Ailian obeyed and left.

The lady and Cao Mama drank a few more cups. The lady then said, 'With your youthful beauty, why not

remarry and settle down?' Cao Mama said, 'The word "husband" makes my head ache, but I'm

quite happy without him.' The lady said, 'What do you mean? With a husband, you'll be cared for, bear children, and continue the family line,

preventing others from mistreating you.' Cao Mama said, 'Madam, you don't understand. If you marry a wise and understanding husband, you'll enjoy life to the fullest.'"

"Like me, the other day I married this country bumpkin, so rough and filthy,

always ," the lady said. "So you've decided not to marry again? I'm afraid you can't bear the sound of rain on

the cold window, or the wind blowing through the cold blankets. You still miss your husband then." Cao Ma said, "Madam, others can't speak harshly to you,

but I can hold my tongue. If you don't mind my nagging, let me tell you something. I live with a palace maid.

When she was in the palace, she had no other man like him. In the inner palace, everyone used something called 'Thirty-Six Palaces of Spring,'

which was ten times more pleasurable than a man's. The palace maids took turns, night after night, it was indescribably wonderful. She and I

live , sleep together at night, each enjoying ourselves. So what use is a husband? I often go to sell my goods, and there are young

widows I help out; they're very happy." The lady laughed, "Did you take it with you?" "Aunt Cao said

, 'I brought several of these with me. I thought that if I didn't have them with me when I stayed at my friend's widow's house,

it would spoil his mood, so I brought them with me.' The lady said, 'No one is here. Let me see what they look like.

Can something so simple become a spirit?' Aunt Cao said, 'These are strange things. There are two things you shouldn't look at:

you shouldn't , and you shouldn't look at them in front of a lamp.' The lady laughed, 'If that's the case, then they're definitely not pleasing to the eye.' Aunt Cao said

, 'They are always pleasing to the eye.' The lady said, 'I was referring to the eye of the eye.' Aunt Cao said, 'I know that too . I

was just teasing you.' To be continued in the next chapter."

Chapter Three: The First Appearance of the Exquisite Red Silk Quilt; A Secret Rendezvous in the Back Garden.

Cao Ma teased the lady, saying, "I feel uneasy disturbing you tonight, Madam. It's a pity I'm of

lowly birth and dare not share your body. If you would not mind, I could try it out, and that would be my way of repaying your kindness." The lady

replied, "It's just a moment's pleasure, what does it matter? Since you're so kind, I'll try it and see what happens. Otherwise,

I'll think you're lying." Seeing that she was moved and agreed, Cao Ma quickly poured her some wine and urged her to drink a few more cups. The lady was suddenly overcome with lust

and became drunk, unable to sit still. She leaned against Cao Ma's face and kissed her, saying, "I'll go to sleep first, you can

sleep in my quilt too." Cao Ma responded, secretly overjoyed. Seeing that the lady was sound asleep, he quietly undressed

, stripped naked, pulled the fragrant quilt over himself, and held his penis tightly against the lady,

motionless .

The lady felt a strange itch and discomfort in her heart from his words. Seeing that Cao Ma lay still in bed, she thought to herself, "Could he be trying to coax

me?" She asked, "Is Cao Ma sound asleep?" Cao Ma replied, "How could I dare to sleep? I haven't asked you, Madam, so

I dare not be bold. If I were to act like a man, it would be too fussy and indecisive to find pleasure." The lady said,

"Just do it as usual, why be so hypocritical?" Cao Ma said, "This thing is hidden inside me, a small

thing, very human-like. When I'm in aroused, it will emerge from inside, so it's no different from a man's." The lady laughed, "

That's truly strange." Cao Ma then touched the lady's breasts, kneading them for a long time, then lifted her

legs and placed them on her lap. She then inserted her middle finger into her vulva, gently teasing the clitoris. The lady couldn't resist and unconsciously became

dazed, her vaginal fluids flowing freely. He then leaned in close to her testicles and thrust in, pumping vigorously

. The lady felt an extraordinary pleasure, unsure if it was real or not. She tightly embraced Cao Ma, swaying her slender waist and glancing sideways with her phoenix eyes, saying,

"It's a pity you're a woman. If you were a man, I would call you affectionately." Cao Ma said, "Why not pretend I'm

a man ?" The lady said, "If you turn into a man, I'll keep you in the room and never let you out again." Cao Ma said

, "If my master finds out when he returns, I'm afraid I won't escape with my life." The lady said, "When we get home, it will still be three years. If

it's two years, and every night is like this, I'll die content." Seeing how passionate she was, Cao Ma used even more skill, reaching

over a thousand . The lady said, "My dear, stop now, let me catch my breath, then we can continue. Otherwise, I'll faint

." Cao Ma quickly withdrew her penis.

The lady said, "Your exquisite appearance seems perfectly natural." She touched it again, finding no trace, and exclaimed

in surprise, "So you are indeed a man! Who are you, and how did you manage to disguise yourself here?" Cao

Ma replied, "Please forgive me, Madam, for I dared to speak frankly." The lady said, "Since things have come to this, what crime have I committed? Tell me the truth,

and I will be at ease." Cao Ma said, "I am a pearl merchant from Guangdong, staying at Huayan Temple. Yesterday, while strolling in the hall,

I was fortunate enough to meet you, Madam. I longed to see you but had no way to do so, so I consulted the gods. If we were destined in a past life, I wished to receive a divination slip. The

verses were remarkably accurate, so I offered a long banner as a sacrifice." The lady said, "Let me ask you, who instructed you

to come dressed like this?" Cao Ma said, "How can I tell anyone about this?" Thinking of this idea in her room, she bought clothes and

dressed herself in secret, deliberately throwing the pearls on the ground, saying she was still looking for more. She only had thirty pearls. The lady said, "What a clever plan!

If you leave and I don't try to stop you, what will you do?" Cao Ma said, "I knew you wouldn't want me to stay, so I said

I couldn't walk any further. If you still won't stay, I'll deliberately trip on your doorstep, pretending to be in pain, saying I've sprained

my ankle and collapsed. You'll surely let me and the maid stay the night. While we're there, I'll see something that sparks my interest and bring up the

previous story. You'll be happy. My plan is foolproof; I'm sure you'll succeed." The lady said, "My precious body is ruined.

If I lose my way, I'll be willing to die. It's a pity now, and I'm in a foreign land." Cao Ma said, "This is a predestined marriage, a thread connecting us across a thousand miles..."

"What's wrong with that?" the lady said. "It's not that I dislike you for being from out of town. If you stayed here, you could have a long-term future." Cao Ke said, "

If you are mistaken, Madam, I will never return. Besides, although my parents are old, I still have my elder brother and sister-in-law to rely on. I have no wife to think of.

I only wish for a long and lasting relationship, that would be enough." The lady said, "If you are truly sincere, get up early tomorrow morning and dress as if you went out for the first time, so as to

avoid suspicion . Tonight at dusk, you can come in through the back gate of the garden. During the day, you can hide your makeup in the storeroom, and at night you can sleep with me. I only

worry that if you, as an official, are promoted to another post in the future, you will have to wait for your family to go with you. What will you

do then?" Cao Ke said, "I have another plan. If you are indeed promoted to another post, I will become your personal attendant and rely on you. Then, when I am in the government office, I will have plenty of opportunities

to do things."

The lady laughed and said, "Cao Lang is truly clever. I am so fortunate." "How will things unfold? Let's find out in the next chapter.

Volume Two

, Chapter Four: A Lover's Joyful Drink Under the Moon; Wang Yunu Seeks Refuge in the Temple .

The lady said, 'You are very clever, but if you don't return home, you must take the pearl and its principal and interest back to avoid

worrying your parents.' Cao Ke said, 'Madam is right. Tomorrow I will return to the temple, and I will send the pearl, silver, principal and interest to a relative in my hometown to take back.

I will write a letter, making an excuse to slowly return home, and both of us will be at ease. It's just that the rent collector might catch us in the act later.' The lady said ,

'It doesn't matter. Officials often neglect their household affairs and are not careful in their private lives. Even if rumors spread, they won't

admit their shame. It has been said since ancient times: lewdness comes from official families.' Cao Ke said, 'What you say seems reasonable. But

how can one forgive adultery with a noblewoman?' The lady said, 'Since you are so worried, then don't come.' Cao Ke said, '

Although we are husband and wife, we are predestined from a previous life.' " An ancient saying goes: "Those destined to meet will find each other even if separated by a thousand miles; those not destined will never

meet.

" The lady said, "Fate is predetermined; why worry so much?"

Just then, Ailian pushed open the door and entered the room, seeking Cao Ma to sleep with. Looking around, she saw

only a pair of she dared not utter a sound, secretly thinking to herself, and then slept on the other side.

Meanwhile, the two men, seeing Ailian enter the room, embraced and fell asleep. Until dawn, they dreamt of lovemaking and enjoyed themselves even more

. Before they knew it, it was broad daylight. The lady urged Cao Ke to get ready early. Ailian came over from the other side, looked closely at Cao Ke

, and realized he was a man. She smiled and said, "You've had a good night." Cao Ke remained silent, then said,

"If you go out, these shoes are a bit unsuitable. Let me find you a pair." The lady,

hearing , cried out, "Ailian, things have come to this; it's hard to hide it from you. You must not let this news leak out to outsiders." " I

see you differently." Ailian, lying on the edge of the bed, replied, "I wouldn't dare to give you any instructions, nor would I dare to tarnish your reputation, so why say such things?"

She then went to another room, stole a pair of large embroidered shoes, and gave them to Cao Ke, saying, "Take your time walking out."

The lady said, "Okay." She quickly got up, taking some snacks for him to eat, and then took the

beads, saying, "You can take these." Cao Ke said, "If you want them, leave them all here." The lady said, "I'll

keep the ones I picked up yesterday, and take the rest to send home." She also gave him a packet of silver, saying, "You can accept the price of the beads." Cao

Ke laughed, "You're so careful with me." The lady said, "Since you haven't been home this time, send more silver home

to comfort your parents and prevent them from suspecting you're not mature enough." Cao Ke said, "I'm very grateful for your thoughtfulness."

After saying this, took his leave.

The lady said, "Go out and lean against the firewall, check the back door, and come early at dusk." She responded with a sound, looking exactly

like a woman selling her wares.

Ailian saw her off at the gate. Several servants at the gate looked at her and asked, "Where did you rest last night?" Cao Ma replied,

"Because it was getting late, I stayed with Sister Ailian. Today I finally got the money for the pearls." After saying this, she went straight to the back garden.

Above the gate was a plaque with three characters that read "Spring in All Seasons." On the left and right were a couplet that read: "I

stroll through the garden every day and find it delightful; though the gate is there, it is always closed."

She remembered this and went to the ancestral hall. She took off her women's clothes and was happy not to run into any acquaintances. She went straight into the temple

, unlocked the door, and happily washed and dressed herself. She went to the front hall and bowed several times, offering sacrifices to fulfill her vows.

While tidying up the gold and silver jewelry, she asked a relative to send it home. She

then invited the abbot out, and said, "Yesterday I met a relative who has something to trouble me with. I don't know when he will return. This room

will be locked for one day, and I will pay the abbot one day's rent. " There was nothing else in the room except for the tent and clothes. We beg you, Master, to watch over it day and night. We have prepared a small feast

to respectfully offer you, Master.” The monks were deeply grateful, and they drank heartily. Cao Ke said, “I take my leave

.” The monks saw him

off at the mountain gate.

They saw the sun set in the west and the moon rise in the east. Around dusk, he strolled to the garden gate, slowly pushed it open, and found it was already

open. He entered the garden and saw his wife and Ailian greeting him from the terrace. Ailian hurriedly went to lock the gate, but his wife laughed,

“Entering someone’s house so late at night without cause, I’ll beat them to death immediately.” Cao Ke said, “There are four words you’ve forgotten, Madam.” His wife

said, “The four words: ‘either adultery or theft’? Today, will you admit to theft or adultery?” Cao Ke said, “I’ll admit to theft. In this

garden , I’m nothing more than a flower thief.” The two sat down under the moon. Ailian brought out wine and food and set them on the table.

The lady had Ailian sit across the table and drink. Under the moon and among the flowers, it was quite enjoyable. From then on, they indulged in pleasure day and night, hiding in the morning and going out in the evening. Only

the three of them knew about it; the rest of the family heard nothing of it. Time really flies, and two years passed in the blink of an eye. But let's leave that aside for now.

Now, in this city, there was a clerk named Wu Li. He was thirty years old when he finally married a woman

named Yu Nu, who was twenty years old. She was seven or eight parts beautiful, and the couple were very fond of her. Yu Nu was gentle and

intelligent, and Wu Li was very fond of her. That year, Yu Nu's mother turned forty, and Yu Nu and her husband went to her father-in-law's house to celebrate her birthday.

Her father-in-law, Wang Chun, invited the couple to stay and drink with relatives and friends. Two days later, Wu Li bid farewell to his parents-in-law and went straight

home, leaving his wife to stay at her parents' house for a few days. Yu Nu said, "You go home and do your business. I'll

go back by myself in a couple of days; you don't need to come and fetch me." Wu Li heard this and left. Yu Nu stayed at her parents' house for a few more days, then bid farewell to

her parents and set off. Before she had traveled more than a few miles, a sudden gust of wind arose, followed by a torrential downpour. Seeing the heavy rain, Yu Nu quickly

ran into a temple…

Chapter Five: The Woman Resolutely Refuses; Two Monks Plot Poisonous Tricks. Now

, let's talk about Yu Nu. She entered the temple and sat on a bench inside the gate, thinking to herself, "I can't go back to my parents' home, and

the road to my husband's home is still far." She was filled with worry and anxiety. At first, she hoped the weather

would clear before she left, but unexpectedly, a torrent of rain poured down, flooding the ground to a depth of three feet. How could this lone woman not be distressed? Seeing that it was getting late

, Yu Nu had no other choice. Looking around, she saw that the Vajra Foothills were a good place to hide, so she secretly hid there. After a while…

" Tonight, I'll leave tomorrow." He sat down on the ground. After a while, two monks came out from inside,

carrying . They closed the mountain gate and shone the lantern to both sides. Yu Nu had nowhere to hide, so she quickly stood up, bowed deeply,

and said, "I am the wife of Wu Li from the village ahead. I was returning to my parents' home when I was caught in a heavy rain and am unable to go in or out. I beg to

stay here for the night. I hope you two masters will grant me this favor."

It turned out that one of the monks was named Wu Ming, and the other Wu Jing. They were lustful fiends who, upon seeing

this beautiful young woman, regarded her as a treasure and were unwilling to let her go. He then feigned rudeness, saying, "So it's

Master ,

I'm so sorry for my rudeness. Master Wu often comes here and is a very close friend of ours. It's all because your sister-in-law is here that I've offended you. Now that I know, how can I let your sister-in-law stay here? Besides, your sister-in-law must be hungry, please come to

my room for some vegetarian food." Yu Nu said, "I am very grateful for your kindness, Master. I will tell my husband when I get home and then come to thank you. Please just

sit here for now, there's no need for anything else." Wu Ming said, "Look, water has come in again. How will you

stay in the water in a little while? I kindly invite your sister-in-law to sit in my room, please don't refuse." Wu Jing said, "Brother, take the umbrella and

lantern I'll carry my wife inside." Before he finished speaking, he stepped forward, picked her up with both hands, and carried her away. Yu Nu cried out, "Master,

there's no need for this, what kind of decorum is this?" The two of them wouldn't listen, and carried her into a clean room, pushed open the door and went in. There was

already an old monk there, playing with two women.

Wuming cried out, "Master, let's each have one now, so we don't fight over it later." The old monk looked at him and said, "What

a handsome young benefactor! Let my master have him first." But the bald man refused. He placed Yu Nu on the meditation chair,

unbuttoned her clothes, and removed her inner garment. Wujing pulled it back, and Wuming took out the little monk, pushed him inside, and grabbed him, taking advantage of him.

Yu Nu struggled weakly, and at this point, she could hardly move. She could only endure the shame and anger, tears streaming down her face, and let him

do as he pleased.

Wuming had taken the first step, and then Wujing went next. The old monk stepped forward to contest, but Wujing pushed him, and he fell flat on his back.

After a while, she managed to get up and called to the two women, "Good bastards, these two beasts are heartless and unjust! They pushed me up

, and neither of you helped me up!" One woman said, "I was afraid the little monk would get hurt." The other said

, "If he falls, that old bald donkey will die!" The three were flirting there when Yu Nu, drenched

in lust by the two monks, became in a daze and couldn't speak for a long time. The two monks let her up, and Yu Nu cried uncontrollably. The two women stepped forward and comforted her,

"Don't be sad. Now that you've come, it's a boundless world. There's no

way . Meeting us today is a predestined relationship from a past life. From now on, you should wholeheartedly rely on us. If you want to go home,

you can't in this life." Yu Nu said, "I've already done as you two wished tonight. Please let me go home tomorrow morning. It would be a great kindness from you, Master

." She quickly bowed down. The three monks laughed and said, "Let's finish our predestined relationship tonight and talk about it tomorrow."

They hurriedly prepared food and drink. Yu Nu refused to eat, but the two women repeatedly urged her to drink. Reluctantly, she drank a few cups.

The two women then said, "We are all daughters of good families, but because of these two bald monks, we were hidden here

and treated like the dead. We have lived in shame and humiliation, and we can never see our parents or husbands again." Yu Nu, hearing

their words, had no choice but to think, "I'll wait and see what happens later."

Meanwhile, the old monk, named Quanzhen, wanted to sleep with Yu Nu that very night and dragged her into his room. To be

continued .

Chapter Six: A Beauty Enters a Bottomless Cave; Tian's Incense Burning Leads to Defilement.

The old monk Quanzhen dragged Yu Nu into his room and played with her all night. From then on, the three bald monks and

the three women drank and made merry every day. A few days passed, and that's another story.

Yu Nu's husband, not seeing his wife return home, went to his in-laws' house to fetch her. Upon seeing his parents-in-law, he asked, "Why hasn't Yu Nu

come out to see me?" Wang Chun replied, "She's been gone for eight days. Why are you coming back to ask for my wife again?" Wu Li said, "When will you return?

You must have thought my small business and poor family were too good for you. Seeing that our daughter is somewhat pretty, you probably accepted a dowry and married her off to someone else.

" Wang Chun cursed, "Nonsense! It's because you, you beast, were poor that you sold your wife to someone else, and now you're asking me for her back?

" His mother-in-law said, "Don't beat my daughter to death and then try to take her back!" She then fell to the ground, crying uncontrollably. The neighbors

heard this and came to ask what had happened. They all said, "She really has gone back. This matter will probably go to court.

" So they dragged her to the county court and began to plead their case.

The magistrate heard this and summoned her. Wang Chun explained his son-in-law's situation, but the magistrate did not make a decision. Wang Chun's neighbor stepped forward and said

in unison, "Indeed, she went back to the Wu family." Wu Li said, "I don't live in a grand mansion.

Even if I went home, wouldn't my neighbors know? I hope Your Honor can ask my neighbors." The magistrate then sent men to arrest Wu's

neighbors and asked, "Do you know when Wu Li's wife returned home?" The four neighbors said, "Wu Li's wife

went to her parents' house to celebrate her father's birthday. After a few days, we saw Wu Li at home morning and evening, but during the day he was out doing business in the street, and the door was locked

. We didn't see his wife return." Wang Chun said, "Your Honor, if he murdered his wife, he would naturally have bribed the neighbors to

cover for him." The magistrate said, "It's difficult to rely on your one-sided story. But Wang Chun accused someone of murder, which is a serious matter. Put Wu Li

in jail and try him again another day." Wu Li was immediately dragged into the jail. The neighbors on both sides and Wang Chun listened to the trial outside.

This businessman, Wu Li, went without food every day without work, and had no close relatives to bring him meals; his situation was truly miserable. Fortunately, he had

a friend named You Ren who gave him a few strings of coins to keep him going. But let's leave that aside for now.

Now, let's talk about Yu Nu. Every day, she stayed in the clean room, where there was no sound outside. She wanted to commit suicide, but two women persuaded her:

"Since you've come here, it's fate. Endure it; perhaps there will be a way out." Yu Nu

replied , "Thank you for your advice, sisters. How can I endure this humiliation and live on? But may I ask your honorable names?" One of the women said

, "My surname is Jiang, and I am the second child. This is Aunt Yu. I came here to burn incense five years ago. An old monk lured me into the clean room,

put medicine into the flower cakes, and after I ate a few, I became drunk and was put down on the bed like this. When

I woke up , I had been defiled. I begged to be released several times, but he wouldn't listen." "Those two disciples, one with pockmarks on his face, is called Immortal Spirit, and

the one with a red mark on his face is called Bright Pearl. When I came, they both had wives, but one of them died of illness and was buried in

the bamboo grove behind. Another one also died and was buried in the same way. This Granny Yu also came to burn incense, but was dragged

in . Once on the road, she died and wasn't allowed to leave. Now it's unpredictable. The three of us should just endure it,

or perhaps when our evil deeds are fully committed, retribution will come." Indeed: "

Daily indulging in wine and frequenting brothels, this amorous monk is no ordinary man. His robes are often stained with rouge, yet he always smells of perfume."

One day, Wuming was walking on his hips when he saw a lone woman, holding incense and candles, enter the mountain gate.

Upon closer inspection, the woman appeared to be around thirty-five or thirty-six years old, with a youthful face, yet still quite pretty. Her clothes were elegant, and her demeanor was as

serene as autumn water, exuding a refined charm. She walked with her bound feet to the main hall, where she offered incense and lit candles to the Buddha. After bowing several times,

she rose and asked, "Master, I've heard there's a statue of Guanyin in the back hall. Where is it?" This question struck

a nerve with Wuming, who thought, "If I lead her there, those two will fight over it with me again." He quickly replied, "Young lady, please allow me to guide

you ." The woman, believing him to be kind, followed him step by step into the brothel, through seven layers of doors, to a

small room where, indeed, was the statue. Tian bowed deeply. Wuming turned around, bolted all seven layers of doors, and entered.

Madam Tian said, "Thank you for your guidance, I must decline." Wuming said, "Young lady, please come in and have some tea." Madam Tian said,

"I wouldn't dare disturb you." Wuming said, "When a benefactor comes here, there's no reason not to serve tea in my humble room." Madam Tian said, "I have nothing

to offer, I certainly wouldn't dare to bother you." Wuming blocked her way, unwilling to let her go. Madam Tian had no choice but to enter another room, which was extremely

elegant and quiet , with fragrant orchids and osmanthus on the table and plum blossom curtains on the bed. She saw the monk smiling as he placed a box of pastries on the table and then

took a cup of fragrant tea, quickly saying, "Please come in." Madam Tian said, "I haven't offered any incense money, how could I trouble you?" The monk laughed

, "Madam, there's no need to be so modest. The tea and wine at our temple are all from benefactors from all directions; using them is not a

penny of our money. May I ask your surname, Madam?" Madam Tian replied, "My surname is Tian. My husband died seven years ago, and I had only one son.

When he turned fifteen, I hoped he would achieve something great, but he died last year. I am all alone and helpless, so I came to pray for

a good outcome." The monk laughed and said, "Looking at your beauty, Madam, I'm afraid no one will come to marry you?" Madam Tian didn't

answer. Unexpectedly, she ate a few pieces of flower cake, and the hot tea started to take effect in her stomach, making her feel like she was drunk

. She couldn't stand up and had to sit there. She asked again, "What's in these flower cakes? Why

am I feeling dizzy " The monk said, "Madam, you must have gotten up a little early. Since no one is here,

why don't you just sleep in bed?" She died. Alone and helpless, she came to pray for a good outcome. The monk chuckled, "

With , do you think no one will come to marry you?" Madam Tian didn't answer. Unexpectedly, after eating a few pieces of flower cake, the hot tea

took effect in her stomach, making her feel as if she were drunk. She couldn't stand and had to sit still. She asked again, "

What's in these flower cakes? Why am I feeling dizzy and lightheaded after eating them?" The monk said, "Madam, you must have

gotten up a little early. Since no one is here, why don't you just sleep in bed? What do you think?"
