. "Click," the keyhole turned. "Squeak," the door opened.
It was his father, rushing in, sweating profusely, panting heavily. He looked at the unfamiliar shoes on the floor and immediately became furious.
"Bang!" His father slammed the door shut, making the family photo on the wall seem to move. It was a photo of his parents. In the photo, his mother was beautiful and his father was smiling happily.
His father, furious, didn't greet Xiao Jie, and Xiao Jie didn't dare to speak. Reaching the room door, he hesitated for a moment, then twisted it forcefully, and the door opened.
Xiao Jie peeked inside. Sitting on the bed was a handsome man, taller and more dashing than his father, buttoning his white shirt. Beside him sat his mother, her back to the door, her slender hands reaching up to her bare back, zipping up the back of her cheongsam.

"Clang, crack!" Something shattered on the floor. "Let me go! You two, let go!" his mother's voice became urgent.
Another shoving sound. A loud thud against the wall.
Xiao Jie knew there was a fight inside, and his heart tightened. He didn't have the courage to open the door.
A cracking sound followed, and something else broke. "Stop it, you two!" his mother screamed.
Tears welled up in Xiao Jie's eyes as he clutched the Transformer tightly to his chest.
But the Transformer inside him remained motionless, unresponsive, and untransformed. It lay quietly in Xiao Jie's grasp.
The room fell silent. "You two, talk this out!" his mother roared.
"What's there to talk about? You adulterous couple, the child's at home, and you're already doing this filthy thing!" his father yelled.
"Watch your mouth! Who's the adulterous couple?" the deep voice said.
"You are! I work so hard outside driving cars to earn money, and you're at home seducing other men. You're a slut!" his father cursed.
"Hmph," Mom sneered, "You think you can support the family with that little bit of salary?"
"I fucking work hard to support you, damn it," Dad stomped his foot, "I'll kill you." "
Thump, thump, thump," came another round of pushing and shoving and chaotic footsteps from inside the room.
"I'm moving out today, I can't stand this house anymore!" came the clatter of high heels. The two men in the room fell silent.
"Get out, both of you, get as far away as possible!" Dad roared.

The creaking of the wardrobe opening, the clatter of Mom's shoes, followed by the heavy thud of a suitcase.
The door creaked open, and Xiao Jie, clutching his Transformers toy, stood there, tears welling in his eyes.
Mom saw Xiao Jie and paused for a moment. She grabbed her suitcase and walked out, followed by a disheveled man and Dad, whose clothes were ripped open.
"Mommy, don't go, Mommy, waah!" Xiao Jie cried out.

The young man came out and helped her with her suitcase. The father followed, pulling Xiao Jie, whose eyes were red and swollen from crying, along with him.
"Mommy, don't go, don't go, Mommy!" Xiao Jie cried even harder, and his father gripped his hand tightly.
The mother turned back, took Xiao Jie's hand, and knelt down.
"Xiao Jie, I'm sorry, Mommy has to go," she said gently, her eyes misty.
Xiao Jie's eyes were blurred with tears at that moment; he didn't remember exactly what his mother looked like when she left. He only remembered her kneeling down, her mother in her cheongsam looking exceptionally beautiful, gently hugging him, his head resting on her shoulder, tears dripping onto her cheongsam, and the scent of perfume.
Tap tap tap, his mother, in her high heels, swayed in her cheongsam and left with that man. The door creaked open, the hallway filled with noisy neighbors, then slammed shut.
