During my mandatory military service, I worked as an administrative officer, managing administrative expenses and processing monthly salaries for my superiors and comrades. Another

expenditure vouchers, to headquarters for review.

Speaking of business inspections, I have my own perspective. In the military, officers protect each other; what's there to inspect?

Irregular vouchers have already been legally altered—who cares! Many of these fake accounts are used to entertain superiors; everyone

gets a share. Are we going to kick them while they're down? However, in the way of the soldier, if the accounting records are too perfect, leaving the finance

officer with no faults, it's disrespectful to the superior, making them appear incompetent, and inviting trouble. So,

I always deliberately added minor, harmless flaws in a few obvious places, giving the finance officer something

to write down, thus protecting their self-esteem.

That was probably the umpteenth time I'd been subjected to a business inspection. I arrived at headquarters early in the morning with the inspection documents, while

the command headquarters sent personnel from Taipei to conduct the inspection. When it was my turn to enter, I saw a woman in a light blue military uniform (the branch of service is
