Chapter 1: Between Passion and Desire

. "How am I? Am I pretty?" The sky had darkened, and Zhao Wan'er, finally dressed, stood up and twirled in front of Hua Ruoxu, then looked at him with a slightly expectant gaze. Under the lamplight, Zhao Wan'er appeared even more stunningly beautiful.
However, Hua Ruoxu looked at her strangely, without speaking, and after a moment stood up and walked towards the door.
"Where are you going?" Zhao Wan'er was slightly startled; a white shadow flashed, and she blocked Hua Ruoxu's path.
"It's getting late, I should go back. You should rest early too. I'll come again tomorrow." Hua Ruoxu turned his head slightly away, somewhat afraid to look Zhao Wan'er in the eye.
"You can't leave," Zhao Wan'er said calmly. "You must marry me tonight!"
"You really want to marry a complete stranger?" Hua Ruoxu said irritably.
"You'll be my husband soon, how can you be a complete stranger?" Zhao Wan'er's face showed a puzzled expression, though it was unclear whether it was genuine or feigned.
"Can I back out now and not marry you?" Hua Ruoxu said, turning to the side, trying to force his way out, but Zhao Wan'er seemed to have seen through his intentions. She was faster than him, her soft, lotus-like arms already wrapped around his neck. A captivating fragrance wafted over, and her soft, supple body pressed tightly against his. Hua Ruoxu's heart couldn't help but flutter.
"I told you, it's too late now, you must marry me," Zhao Wan'er said softly. "Because I've already agreed to marry you. It was a difficult decision for me, and once I've made it, no one can back out, not even you."
"I... I'll marry you, but isn't it a bit much?" Hua Ruoxu had no choice but to use delaying tactics, speaking in a low voice.
"I'm very serious about what I do, and I won't change my mind once I've made a decision." Zhao Wan'er's tone gradually turned cold. "I don't care what your reasons are for marrying me, it's a done deal now."
"I think you shouldn't be called the Divine Palace, you should be called the Palace of Mental Illness! You're all mentally ill!" Hua Ruoxu couldn't hold back any longer and cursed.
"You won't lose anything by marrying me. Although I don't know how to serve a man, I think I'm not bad-looking, and I'm a woman of virtue. If you ask, I can still be a good wife and mother." A sweet smile appeared on Zhao Wan'er's face, but it gave Hua Ruoxu a chill down his spine.
Hua Ruoxu suddenly and gently pressed several acupoints on her body, immobilizing her. He then lifted her up and gently placed her on the bed.
"Although I don't understand what you're thinking, to be honest, you're much better than the other two. I really don't want to get you like this." Hua Ruoxu sat on the edge of the bed, gently kissed her face, and sighed softly. "If I really wanted to back out, you couldn't do anything about it. But actually, I don't want to back out either; I just don't want to be so hasty." "
I'm leaving now. Before I leave, I'll release your acupoints. Don't even think about chasing me; it'll be useless." Hua Ruoxu looked at her one last time with some lingering affection, then resolutely turned and left, simultaneously pressing several acupoints in mid-air to release them. Zhao Wan'er didn't chase after him, nor did she move an inch on the bed. However, a peculiar expression appeared on her face—a mixture of surprise and joy.

Hua Yufeng sat blankly in the room, her face unusually grave.
"Miss." Hanxue's sweet, coquettish voice drifted in from the doorway.
"Xiaoxue, aren't you with the young master?" Hua Yufeng forced a smile.
"The young master went out. I was just talking about Sister Tianxing's ferret, and after he heard that, he left without saying where he was going. He wouldn't even take me there." Hanxue puffed out her cheeks, her tone clearly full of dissatisfaction.
"Sister Tianxing?" Hua Yufeng murmured, her expression growing even more serious. Suddenly, she stood up and went out.
Hua Yufeng first went to the Love Pavilion, but couldn't find Hua Tianxing. Then she went to the small room where Hua Tianxing usually stayed, but still didn't find him.
"Sister Yufeng, are you looking for me? I thought it was my little brother!" Hua Yufeng stood silently for a moment, then turned to leave when Hua Tianxing suddenly appeared before her like a ghost, grinning. However, his tone seemed somewhat disappointed, as this place was usually only frequented by Hua Ruoxu.
“Sister Tianxing, I have something I want to show you.” Hua Yufeng tried to calm herself down and handed Hua Tianxing a yellowed booklet.
Hua Tianxing flipped through it casually, and her expression changed drastically. Hua Yufeng immediately felt two sharp gazes shooting from her eyes, and an inexplicable chill rose from the bottom of her heart.
“Go away. You are the one my brother loves. I won’t do anything to you.” Hua Tianxing suddenly withdrew her terrifying gaze and said softly.
“Although my junior brother has always thought that the person he loves most is you, I know that the most important person in his heart is you. So I think you should tell him everything yourself, Sister Tianxing.” Hua Yufeng’s emotions gradually calmed down, and she said softly.
“In his heart, I, his sister, am perfect, pure and flawless, and inviolable. I am a fairy from heaven.” Hua Tianxing said leisurely. “I don’t want to ruin the image in his heart, so I won’t tell him.”
“He will understand one day. Rather than letting him understand on his own, it’s better for you to tell him yourself.” Hua Yufeng shook her head and said.
“Perhaps by the time he understands, I will no longer be in this world. In that case, in his heart, I will always be that perfect fairy, and I will forever retain my beautiful image in his heart.” Hua Tianxing’s voice carried a slight sadness as she smiled gently at Hua Yufeng. “I know you care about him too, otherwise you wouldn’t have investigated everyone around him so thoroughly. But since you love him so much, you naturally wouldn’t want him to be sad, right?”
“But…” Hua Yufeng wanted to persuade her further.
"I was originally just a sword spirit. As a spirit, I should have been content with solitude and could have lived for a thousand years. But do you know? I would rather live a normal human life for one day than endure a thousand years of loneliness and solitude." Hua Tianxing interrupted Hua Yufeng and said softly, "Unfortunately, a spirit is a spirit and should not be human. Defying the heavens will surely bring divine retribution. Perhaps soon I will completely disappear from this world. But before that, I want to live a truly human life for one day. I also hope that in my brother's heart, I will always remain pure."
"Sister Tianxing, do you really have to take this path?" Hua Yufeng sighed softly.
"This is a path of no return. Once it begins, it will inevitably lead to destruction," Hua Tianxing said calmly.

Hua Ruoxu had just come out from Zhao Wan'er's place when he found someone blocking his way. Dressed in white, masked, and with unparalleled beauty, it was Ouyang Bing'er.
"Hua Ruoxu, what will it take for you to let your martial uncle go?" Ouyang Bing'er said angrily.
"It's none of your business!" Hua Ruoxu's face was cold as he continued walking forward. Just as he was about to bump into Ouyang Bing'er, she had no choice but to step aside.
"Hua Ruoxu, do you know how despicable your opportunistic behavior is!" Ouyang Bing'er shouted from behind him. "I despise you!"
"Once upon a time, the high and noble Holy Maiden of the Divine Palace was reduced to selling her body. Don't you find that tragic?" Hua Ruoxu turned around and said calmly.

"Hua Ruoxu, to facilitate your scheme, I sent three envoys to the Hua residence! If they were still alive, we wouldn't have hesitated, and we wouldn't have even allowed you, this despicable and lecherous wolf, to have your way!" Ouyang Bing'er said bitterly, both ashamed and angry. "You say I'm selling my body? I'll show you! There are plenty of men in the world; I can just find a few more! There are plenty of men willing to risk their lives for me!"
"You dare?" Hua Ruoxu glared at her angrily.
Ouyang Bing'er snorted disdainfully, which was her response to Hua Ruoxu.
"I warn you, if you dare, I will kill you and make everyone in the Divine Palace pay for it!" Hua Ruoxu stared at her, speaking each word clearly. Suddenly, he reached out and removed the veil from her face, stuffing it into his robes. "Don't wear this thing anymore!"
"Hua Ruoxu, stop right there! What do you mean?" Ouyang Bing'er was stunned for a moment. When she came to her senses, she realized that Hua Ruoxu had already walked quite a distance and was about to walk out the door. She quickly called out to him from behind.
"The Immortal Palace killed my son, and Nangong Feiyun destroyed Shaolin. I won't let them go, even if you beg me." Hua Ruoxu turned around and smiled faintly. "I won't come back again. You'd better watch yourselves!"
After saying this, Hua Ruoxu suddenly felt a sense of relief. He had hated Ouyang Bing'er for deceiving him, but suddenly his mind seemed to become more open. He shook his head and smiled bitterly, thinking, what was the point of all this? Although this woman was very beautiful, she didn't love him. Why should he give so much of his feelings for her?
"Why didn't you come? Then, what about Martial Aunt?" Ouyang Bing'er asked, slightly taken aback.
"I don't want to be deceived again." Hua Ruoxu looked at her; Ouyang Bing'er's face seemed to flush slightly, her dazzling beauty making him somewhat lost in thought. He took a deep breath and continued, "Tell Wan'er that I will still do what I'm supposed to do, but I'm giving up my conditions."
Although Hua Ruoxu spoke so lightly, given Zhao Wan'er's stubbornness not long ago, it was hard to say whether he could actually give up.
*** *** ***
Finally leaving those women from the Divine Palace, Hua Ruoxu felt a sense of relief. The night was cool, but Jinling City was bustling with activity; with New Year's Eve approaching, the festive atmosphere was already faintly visible.
Hua Ruoxu sighed softly; the events between him, Ouyang Bing'er, and Zhao Wan'er these past two days had left his mind a mess.
"If you're afraid they'll scold you, come to my place first." A gentle voice sounded beside him, and Sun Yunyan appeared silently not far away.
Hua Ruoxu then went to her place, but his visit wasn't for the reason she expected.
"Actually, you can't blame them. They're naturally curious when you suddenly say you want to marry Zhao Wan'er," Sun Yunyan gently advised him, but she sensed something was amiss. Hua Ruoxu was looking at her with a half-smile.
"I won't marry Zhao Wan'er," Hua Ruoxu smiled, "So, I don't need to worry about my senior sisters blaming me."
"Then why are you here? Go back quickly," Sun Yunyan said softly, her expression immediately becoming somewhat uneasy.
Hua Ruoxu didn't speak, but kept looking at her. Sun Yunyan couldn't bear his gaze and quickly lowered her head, still feeling very uncomfortable.
"You seem unwilling to go there. Can you tell me why?" Hua Ruoxu hesitated slightly before saying, "Is it because of Brother Fang or because of me?"
"I... I asked you to come here, naturally not because of you," Sun Yunyan said hesitantly, her head lowered.
"I never imagined Brother Fang would be so devoted to you," Hua Ruoxu said, somewhat troubled. "Am I being unfair to my friend?"
"Don't say that. It's none of your business," Sun Yunyan said softly, looking up. She seemed melancholy.
"I should go back now. Since you don't want to go, I won't force you." Hua Ruoxu felt a pang of pity for her pitiful appearance.
Sun Yunyan gave a soft "Mmm" and saw Hua Ruoxu to the door. Watching his retreating figure, a hint of reluctance flickered in her eyes.
Sun Yunyan slowly walked back, feeling a sense of loss. She didn't know what her relationship with Hua Ruoxu truly was. If their first intimacy was because she was ambushed by Baili Hu, then why did she let him do as he pleased last night?
"Am I really such a promiscuous woman?" Sun Yunyan murmured, silently sitting down by the mirror. The person in the mirror was still beautiful, but there was no joy or happiness on her face, only a deep loneliness.
"My heart is dead. I will never love anyone," Sun Yunyan told herself softly. "He is the Palace Master's husband. The Palace Master has been kind to me, and I only accept his offer out of gratitude."
A gentle breeze swept by, and Sun Yunyan sprang to her senses, turning to strike him with her palm. But her hand froze in mid-air, and suddenly her waist tightened as she fell into the arms of the newcomer.
"Why are you back? Let me go! You didn't drink today," Sun Yunyan struggled gently.
"I'm not going back today," Hua Ruoxu said softly, lowering his head to kiss her delicate neck. As Hua Ruoxu unbuttoned her bra, his passionate kisses gradually moved downwards, finally burying their faces in her breasts. She trembled slightly, and a soft moan escaped her cherry lips.
"I'm already a fallen flower, please let me go," Sun Yunyan pleaded softly. Her pretty face was flushed, her body was burning hot, and she was so weak and powerless that she could barely stand, relying solely on Hua Ruoxu's support to stay upright.
Hua Ruoxu's mind involuntarily recalled her fiery and alluring body from the previous night. His hands slowly caressed every part of her body, and as his hands moved, her clothes slipped away one by one.
The amazing elasticity and wonderful sensation made Hua Ruoxu's passion swell uncontrollably. He finally couldn't wait any longer and entered her body, beginning a fierce assault.
*** *** ***
The passion subsided.
"A wife is not as good as a concubine, and a concubine is not as good as a stolen one. This saying is truly true," Sun Yunyan said softly. "You have a harem of wives and concubines at home, each one better than me, yet you still won't let me go."
"Don't think nonsense, it's not like that," Hua Ruoxu protested.
“Actually, I know you’re upset because of Zhao Wan’er, so you wanted to vent to someone. You didn’t want to go home because you love them, so you came to me,” Sun Yunyan said calmly.
“Don’t talk nonsense, that’s not how it is at all!” Hua Ruoxu quickly denied.
“Then tell me why you’re staying here? In terms of looks, compared to your wives and concubines, I admit I’m not even half as good as them. Besides, I’m just a divorced woman, my body is no longer pure. You just didn’t want to go to a prostitute, so you came to me.” Sun Yunyan’s soft body was still naked in Hua Ruoxu’s arms. Her body was still very hot, but her words were extremely cold and devoid of any emotion.
“Don’t think so badly of me, okay?” Hua Ruoxu said angrily.
“I just know my place; I wouldn’t fantasize that you’d like a woman like me,” Sun Yunyan chuckled. “But it doesn’t matter, I don’t care. Since I’ve given you one time, I can give you a few more.” Her words had a sense of recklessness.
Hua Ruoxu felt a pang of sadness. To be honest, he did feel more lust than love for Sun Yunyan, but it didn’t mean he considered her a prostitute, as she claimed. However, he couldn’t refute her, because she was right about some things. Although he had decided to completely let go of Ouyang Bing’er and Zhao Wan’er, he was still feeling uneasy. He didn’t want to go back and talk about Zhao Wan’er and Ouyang Bing’er again, which was why he had returned to Sun Yunyan.

Volume 11, Chapter 2: Turning Against

Each Other Because of Beauty. Sun Yunyan's soft body suddenly tensed. She leaped out of bed, quickly dressing and covering her alluring body. At the same time, she hissed, "Get up! Enemies!"
As the Third Elder of the Demon Palace, and arguably the highest-ranking person in the palace besides Su Dai'er, Sun Yunyan's residence was naturally guarded by many Demon Palace disciples. Therefore, when enemies approached, they would use the Demon Palace's secret signals to notify her.
The traces of their recent intimacy still lingered on Sun Yunyan's face, the blush not completely faded. She stepped out the door first, and at that moment, several agile black figures were rushing towards them at great speed. As they drew closer, Sun Yunyan's face instantly turned icy, for she clearly saw the face of the leader—it was Ge Yunxiang.
As Ge Yunxiang stopped a short distance in front of Sun Yunyan, Hua Ruoxu emerged from inside. He was genuinely surprised to see Ge Yunxiang and simultaneously became more vigilant. After all, Ge Yunxiang and Ye Bu'er had disappeared for a long time, and now his sudden appearance, seemingly to find Sun Yunyan, raised questions about his intentions.
"Adulterous couple!" Ge Yunxiang's face twisted slightly when he saw Hua Ruoxu beside Sun Yunyan, and he spat out those four words harshly.
"Ge Yunxiang, I thought you were dead. I didn't expect you to still be alive. You really have a long life." Hua Ruoxu seemed unfazed by Ge Yunxiang's insults, smiling slightly and letting out a lazy sigh.
"Hua Ruoxu, I never expected you to enjoy taking women I've had my fill of. You treated Hua Feimeng, a woman I'd had my fill of, like a treasure, and now you treat this even more lewd woman in front of me like a treasure too? I admire you!" Ge Yunxiang suddenly laughed, a sinister laugh, his words filled with malice. Sun Yunyan's face turned ashen, and Hua Ruoxu's handsome face changed drastically. With a clang, the Love Sword was already in his hand.
"Ge Yunxiang, you will pay the price for your foul words!" Hua Ruoxu said coldly, the Love Sword pointing at Ge Yunxiang, its tip suddenly shooting out a shimmering light that seemed to illuminate the dark night sky.
"Leave this man to me." Sun Yunyan suddenly grabbed Hua Ruoxu's hand and said softly, "I've been looking for him for a long time. Since he's delivered himself to my door today, I'll settle things with him."
Hua Ruoxu looked at Sun Yunyan, and she looked at him quietly as well. Her face was calm, but her eyes were resolute. Hua Ruoxu sighed softly, nodded, and took a step back. He was still somewhat worried. After all, Ge Yunxiang and Sun Yunyan had been husband and wife for several years. As the saying goes, "a night of marriage brings a hundred days of
kindness." Although he knew Sun Yunyan's martial arts were superior to Ge Yunxiang's, he couldn't guarantee she could be ruthless. Originally, there shouldn't have been any deep-seated hatred between Hua Ruoxu and Ge Yunxiang, but ultimately, it was all because of a woman—not Sun Yunyan, but Hua Feimeng.
Hua Feimeng and Ge Yunxiang had once shared a deep affection. Although a long time had passed, before Hua Feimeng met Hua Ruoxu, and even after she was with him, Ge Yunxiang still held a place in her heart for a period. This had made Hua Ruoxu very unhappy, but he couldn't blame Hua Feimeng, so he naturally placed the blame on Ge Yunxiang.
If Ge Yunxiang were a gentleman, or if he stopped pursuing Hua Feimeng after their separation, then it wouldn't matter. Little did Ge Yunxiang know that after seeing Hua Feimeng's true face, he would be filled with regret. Hua Feimeng was far superior to Sun Yunyan in both appearance and temperament. Her unusual behavior upon first meeting him led him to believe that she still loved him, and that he could easily win her back with a little manipulation. Of course, what he truly desired was her body. However
, things didn't go as planned. Although Hua Feimeng initially felt a special connection to him, her heart had already shifted to Hua Ruoxu. Since Ge Yunxiang was opposing Hua Ruoxu, any remaining goodwill she had for him gradually vanished. When Ge Yunxiang arrogantly declared his desire to be with her, she already felt disgust, even loathing. Now, Hua Feimeng was no longer a messenger of the Divine Palace; her body and soul belonged entirely to Hua Ruoxu, and Ge Yunxiang was utterly hopeless.
Ge Yunxiang abandoned Sun Yunyan, and Hua Feimeng was completely out of his reach. Even more unexpectedly, Sun Yunyan had become Hua Ruoxu's lover. Consumed by jealousy and resentment, he began to hurl insults and filth at Hua Feimeng and Sun Yunyan. Although Hua Ruoxu knew that Hua Feimeng and Ge Yunxiang were innocent, he still found it unbearable. The fact that Sun Yunyan had indeed been Ge Yunxiang's lover made him feel very uncomfortable, and a murderous intent involuntarily arose in his heart.
"Are those people behind Ge Yunxiang former disciples of Kunlun?" Hua Ruoxu suddenly felt that the faces behind Ge Yunxiang were somewhat familiar, so he asked.
"They are all Kunlun disciples," Sun Yunyan nodded, coldly staring at Ge Yunxiang, the pair of mandarin duck short swords already in her hands.
*** *** ***
“Ge Yunxiang, you colluded with Ye Bu'er, first poisoning my father for the position of Kunlun Sect Leader, and now you're wreaking havoc on the martial arts world. Today, I will cleanse the sect on my father's behalf.” Sun Yunyan's sharp gaze slowly swept over each Kunlun disciple, finally settling on Ge Yunxiang. Her words carried immense weight, causing a slight commotion among the Kunlun disciples.
“Sun Yunyan, you are unfaithful, having an affair with Hua Ruoxu behind my back. After I discovered this and divorced you, you harbored resentment and fabricated this story to frame me. Truly, the most poisonous heart is that of a woman.” Ge Yunxiang's expression changed slightly, but he immediately retorted.
“Most of them were trained by my father. I don't want them to be buried with this villain, Ge Yunxiang. You keep an eye on them for me, don't let them help you, and don't kill them.” Sun Yunyan turned to Hua Ruoxu and whispered. Hua Ruoxu nodded. He vaguely understood that Sun Yunyan didn't want to say too much and was about to take action.
Sun Yunyan's hands clashed, the two short swords striking each other with a resounding clang that soared into the sky. With that clang, Sun Yunyan lunged at Ge Yunxiang.
*** *** ***
"My lord, Ge Yunxiang is dead!" A man in black reported from behind Ye Bu'er.
"Explain clearly, how did he die?" Ye Bu'er seemed much older now.
"He didn't know why he went to provoke Sun Yunyan, and as a result, he died at Sun Yunyan's hands," the man in black said in a low voice. "The Kunlun disciples are all unharmed, but they are all under Hua Ruoxu's control."
"Hua Ruoxu, oh Hua Ruoxu, is heaven truly on your side?" Ye Bu'er murmured, "Why is it that someone always helps him?"
*** *** ***
Dawn.
Outside Jinling City, there stands a solitary grave without a tombstone. No one knows who is buried there. Perhaps only Hua Ruoxu and Sun Yunyan know that the grave contains the once-renowned Azure-Clad Divine Sword, the former Kunlun Sect Leader, and the youngest expert on the Heavenly Ranking, Ge Yunxiang.
Tears streamed down Sun Yunyan's face as she stared blankly at the mound of yellow earth. No matter how glorious or how filthy he had once been, he was now beneath the earth, soon to become a pile of bones, soon to be forgotten by the world.

"Is such a person worth your tears?" Hua Ruoxu sighed softly. He truly didn't understand. She had killed him with her own hands. He had witnessed Sun Yunyan's sword pierce Ge Yunxiang's heart. At that moment, Ge Yunxiang's eyes were filled with such resentment and disbelief. Yet this woman who had killed Ge Yunxiang not only buried him herself but also shed tears for him.
“He was once my husband, and the only man I ever loved in my life,” Sun Yunyan said softly. “No matter what, we had a happy time together, but those days are gone forever. I’m not sad about his death, but about the happiness I can never have again.”
“In this world, he wasn’t the only one who could bring you happiness,” Hua Ruoxu felt a pang of unease.
“I will never love anyone again in my life. For a woman, without love, where does happiness come from?” Sun Yunyan smiled sadly. “You’re not a woman, you wouldn’t understand.”
Sun Yunyan slowly turned and walked away. Watching her gradually disappear from his sight, Hua Ruoxu wanted to chase after her, but found he lacked the courage. He didn’t love her, so how could he expect her to love him? Since she didn’t love him, what good would chasing after her do?
*** *** ***
When Hua Ruoxu returned to the Hua residence alone, it was already broad daylight. The disciples who originally belonged to Kunlun had all taken a timed-acting poison, but with the little divine doctor Hanxue there, there were naturally no problems. However, after they took the antidote, Hua Ruoxu didn't leave them at the Tianxing Alliance, but instead sent them to find Sun Yunyan.
They quickly returned, but Sun Yunyan said she was no longer a member of the Kunlun Sect; she was the Third Elder of the Demon Palace, so she wouldn't take them in. Helpless, Hua Ruoxu simply entrusted them to Fang Xia, since Fang Xia was currently the highest-ranking member of Kunlun.
Afterwards, Hua Ruoxu went to Hua Yufeng to discuss attacking the Immortal Palace, but Hua Yufeng seemed somewhat distracted, which puzzled him. He even thought she was still angry about Zhao Wan'er, so he quickly told her that he wouldn't marry Zhao Wan'er.
"Junior Brother, dealing with the Immortal Palace shouldn't be difficult, but I have some concerns. I'm afraid it won't be easy to resolve," Hua Yufeng hesitated for a long time before finally not revealing Hua Tianxing's situation, fearing he wouldn't be able to accept the blow.
"We'll try to avoid direct confrontation with the Xue and Hua families," Hua Ruoxu said. He understood that although Xue Youyou's relationship with Piaoxue Manor had broken down, it was still her maternal family. Hua Feimeng and Hua Feihua, on the other hand, had no real conflict with Hua Cuo.
"But this could introduce many variables, and I wouldn't be confident of winning," Hua Yufeng said softly. "Junior brother, let's wait a few more days. I'll think it over carefully and see if there's a better way."
*** *** ***
"Brother Hua, Brother Hua!" Just as Hua Ruoxu stepped out of Hua Yufeng's room, Xue Youyou, the delicate young woman, rushed over, accompanied by a little girl named Zhu Zhu.
"Youyou, didn't you play with Sister Qing and the others?" Hua Ruoxu gently embraced her, his heart pounding. This girl was becoming increasingly alluring; the consequences of practicing seductive arts were gradually becoming apparent.
"Brother Hua, Zhu Zhu and I are going outside to play. Will you come with us?" Xue Youyou looked at Hua Ruoxu with her watery eyes, her delicate body rubbing against him restlessly.
"Youyou, don't move around. I'll go with you." Hua Ruoxu's face flushed slightly. He almost couldn't resist the urge to pull this girl into the room and cherish her.
"Let's go!" Zhu Zhu skipped and hopped outside first, looking very happy. Xue Youyou smiled sweetly. Seeing her so happy, Hua Ruoxu felt a lot of relief. He hadn't spent much time with her in a long time. Actually, he knew that Youyou still had a lot of childlike feelings, but he rarely played with her because he found it hard to resist his desire for her body when they were alone together. Xue Youyou always satisfied his desires, and Hua Ruoxu always felt ashamed about this. Fortunately, Xue Youyou didn't blame him. On the contrary, she seemed happy that Hua Ruoxu was infatuated with her body.
Xue Youyou knew how alluring she was to Hua Ruoxu, so she didn't make any further moves. She simply held his arm and followed behind Zhu Zhu. Just as they were about to leave through the gate, someone blocked their way.
Fang Xia looked at Hua Ruoxu with a strange gaze, making him feel uneasy. He secretly felt something was off about Fang Xia's current demeanor.
"Brother Fang, is there something you need?" Hua Ruoxu finally asked, unable to contain himself any longer.
"I want to ask you a question, and I hope you won't lie to me," Fang Xia said slowly, staring at Hua Ruoxu for a long time.
"Brother Fang, please ask," Hua Ruoxu said, a vague sense of unease rising within him.
"You were with my senior sister last night, weren't you?" Fang Xia asked, seemingly with great difficulty. Hua Ruoxu's heart skipped a beat, and he inwardly groaned. He was
momentarily at a loss for words, his face flushed with embarrassment.
"How laughable that I actually thanked you for helping me rescue my senior sister! How ridiculous!" Fang Xia laughed, his face turning extremely ugly. Then, looking at Hua Ruoxu, he said, word by word, "Hua Ruoxu, I really misjudged you!"
Fang Xia coldly snorted and turned to leave. Hua Ruoxu opened his mouth, but ultimately said nothing.
*** *** ***
"Brother Hua, let's go inside. We won't go out to play anymore," Xue Youyou said softly. Xue Youyou, who always only knew how to act cute, was surprisingly understanding.
"Youyou, I'm fine. I promised to play with you. Let's go, let's go now," Hua Ruoxu forced a smile and shook his head.
Actually, he had known this day would come. There are no secrets that stay hidden forever. He also thought Fang Xia's reaction was quite normal. Hua Ruoxu knew he couldn't match Fang Xia's devotion to Sun Yunyan, and he had no rebuttal to Fang Xia's accusations. The truth was, even knowing Fang Xia's feelings for Sun Yunyan, he had repeatedly taken her to satisfy his own selfish desires.
Because Hua Ruoxu was in a bad mood, Xue Youyou seemed to have no interest in sightseeing, simply walking silently alongside him. Zhu Zhu, however, was quite different. She looked around, occasionally letting out a string of melodious laughter that drew the attention of passersby. Her stunning beauty and naturally endearing demeanor drew fervent gazes, while Xue Youyou, though no less beautiful, received little attention.
"Sister Youyou, Brother Hua, come with me to buy fabric. I want to make clothes." Arriving at a fabric shop, Zhu Zhu grabbed Xue Youyou's hand and pulled her inside. Hua Ruoxu had no choice but to follow.
"This one's nice, and this one's pretty too. Which one should I choose?" Zhu Zhu looked left and right, seemingly liking everything.
"Sigh, I'll have my sisters help me choose. I don't want to anymore," Zhu Zhu muttered to herself, then called out in a sweet, high-pitched voice, "Boss, please wrap up all the fabric here and send it to the Hua residence."
"Why are you buying so much?" Hua Ruoxu was startled, and not only him, but the fabric shop owner was also taken aback.
"Miss, you... you want all of this fabric?" The fabric shop owner asked in a somewhat incredulous tone.
"Yes, I'll take them all." Zhu Zhu's eyes darted around, and she suddenly smiled sweetly at Hua Ruoxu. "Brother Hua, can you pay for them for me?"
"Miss Zhu Zhu, of course you pay for your own things." Hua Ruoxu secretly took a breath and said, secretly relieved that he had almost blurted out "okay." Several days passed, and he also felt that this Zhu Zhu was a bit strange. Hua Yufeng had been investigating for several days but had not found any information about her. Zhu Zhu was also shameless enough to stay at the Hua residence and not leave. In addition, she seemed to have some kind of magic, and everyone liked her, especially her close relationship with Xue Youyou.

Chapter 3 of Volume 11: The Jade Maiden Forces Marriage

"Sister Youyou, can you pay for them for me?" Seeing that Hua Ruoxu was unwilling, Zhu Zhu immediately changed her target and clung to Xue Youyou, acting coquettishly.
Hua Ruoxu felt both annoyed and amused. Xue Youyou always acted coquettishly in front of others, but now Zhu Zhu was acting coquettishly in front of her.
What Hua Ruoxu didn't expect was that Xue Youyou really acted like an older sister in front of Zhu Zhu, immediately agreeing to pay for her. However, in the end, it was naturally Hua Ruoxu who actually paid, completely helpless against Zhu Zhu's roundabout tactics.
Zhu Zhu was in high spirits, completely disregarding Hua Ruoxu's feelings. Buying all the cloth in the fabric shop was just the beginning; she almost took all the snacks along the way, and then had the vendor selling Tang Dynasty snacks move his stall to the Hua residence… In short, she bought everything she liked. When Hua Ruoxu later saw her enter a jewelry store, his heart was in his throat. He was truly worried that she would buy up all the jewelry in the store. However, this time he was wrong; Zhu Zhu only glanced at it and came out, seemingly uninterested in the dazzling array of jewels.
After shopping for most of the day, from morning until almost sunset, Hua Ruoxu's several hundred taels of silver had dwindled to just a few. Zhu Zhu, however, seemed determined to continue shopping, while Xue Youyou gradually abandoned Hua Ruoxu, her naturally playful nature finally being awakened by Zhu Zhu. Nevertheless, Zhu Zhu had done something for Hua Ruoxu, having spent so much of his money. Hua Ruoxu's initially terrible mood seemed to improve under the torment of this adorable little devil, as he no longer had time to think about Fang Xia and Sun Yunyan.
But just as his mood improved, Hua Ruoxu encountered trouble. As he stepped out of the jewelry store, he found a stunningly beautiful woman in plain clothes blocking his way. Hua Ruoxu could only smile bitterly to himself; Zhao Wan'er was indeed not going to let him off so easily. And Zhao Wan'er's next words almost made Hua Ruoxu turn and run away in fright.
"My lord, it's time to go home for dinner." The voice was sweet and coquettish, enough to melt anyone's heart, but Hua Ruoxu couldn't help but shiver.
"Brother Hua, when did you and Sister Wan'er get married?" Xue Youyou whispered in Hua Ruoxu's ear.
"Youyou, you and Zhuzhu go back first." Hua Ruoxu didn't want to chat with Zhao Wan'er in front of so many people, so he whispered to Xue Youyou, then strode over to Zhao Wan'er, grabbed her hand, and ran.
Zhao Wan'er cooperated and let him pull her along, but poor Hua Ruoxu had told Ouyang Bing'er yesterday that he wouldn't come again, and today he went back on his word.
"Wan'er, I want to make things clear to you today..." Hua Ruoxu didn't want to go in, so he stopped at the door.
"Let's talk inside." This time, Zhao Wan'er didn't give him any face, not only interrupting him but also breaking free from his grasp, and walking inside on her own.
Hua Ruoxu had no choice but to follow her in. Zhao Wan'er's persistence was completely unexpected. He knew that if he didn't go in, he would likely never have peace again. The only saving grace was that he didn't encounter Ouyang Bing'er and Gong Yaqian on his way to Zhao Wan'er's room. However, he didn't know that just as he entered Zhao Wan'er's room, Ouyang Bing'er and Gong Yaqian emerged from a corner at the other end of the corridor.
"Senior Sister, didn't you say he wouldn't come? Why are you looking for Uncle again?" Gong Yaqian asked, somewhat puzzled and dissatisfied.
"It seems Uncle went to see him," Ouyang Bing'er said with a bitter smile. "I don't understand what Uncle is thinking."
"Then what should we do? Are we really going to let Hua Ruoxu and Uncle get married?" Gong Yaqian asked, looking unwilling to accept it.
"I don't know what to do either. Let's just take it one step at a time. Besides, we can't change Uncle's decision," Ouyang Bing'er said helplessly.

“Wan’er, I told you I would deal with the Immortal Palace. I will do what you want me to do. As for the conditions, those were just a moment of anger on my part, and I have already given up on them.” Hua Ruoxu hurriedly explained to Zhao Wan’er as soon as he entered the room.
“You must marry me!” Zhao Wan’er’s tone was firm, leaving no room for negotiation.
“Can’t you be reasonable?” Hua Ruoxu really couldn’t do anything with her; she simply wouldn’t give him any chance to maneuver.
"You want to reason with me? Fine, I'll tell you why you must marry me now." Zhao Wan'er glanced at Hua Ruoxu, turned her back to him, and slowly said, "A true man keeps his word. You said you would marry me, and I agreed, so you must marry me, that's the first point; I've always been respectful of propriety, and I think you understand what it means for men and women not to touch each other. You've kissed me, and you've held me. If you weren't my fiancé, I would never have let you do these things to me, so you must marry me, that's the second point. Either of these two points is enough to show that you should marry me."
Hua Ruoxu was stunned. If he could refute the first point, he had no reason to refute the second. He had not only kissed and held her, but he had also touched almost every inch of her body.
"Do you have anything to say now?" Zhao Wan'er turned around, her beautiful eyes fixed on Hua Ruoxu, her tone indifferent, but Hua Ruoxu felt an immense pressure.
“Wan’er, don’t you really understand why I don’t want to marry you?” Hua Ruoxu sighed softly.
“Of course I understand, which is why I think you should marry me even more,” Zhao Wan’er smiled gently. “Is marrying a woman you already like really that difficult?”
“But I don’t want to marry a woman who doesn’t like me!” Hua Ruoxu said irritably.
“How do you know I don’t like you?” Zhao Wan’er retorted.
“How could you fall for a man you’ve only known for a few days?” Hua Ruoxu blurted out.
“If you can, why can’t I?” Zhao Wan’er’s question left Hua Ruoxu speechless. He snorted angrily and stood there sulking.
*** *** ***
Night slowly fell, and Zhao Wan’er was again dressing in front of the mirror, while Hua Ruoxu stood behind her, repeatedly hesitating to speak.
"Am I beautiful?" Zhao Wan'er stood up with an extremely graceful posture, slowly turned around, and smiled sweetly at Hua Ruoxu. Hua Ruoxu nodded silently. Undeniably, Zhao Wan'er's beauty could be described as unparalleled. Under the lamplight, a faint blush flowed across her delicate, flower-like face. Her bright eyes, beneath long eyelashes, were captivating and seemed to carry a hint of hidden affection. Her cascading black hair fell naturally over her shoulders, and her slightly pursed cherry lips on her oval face moved slightly, as if beckoning him with allure.
Hua Ruoxu's heart surged. He felt an urge to escape. If not for his last shred of reason, he might have pulled her into his arms at any moment, cherishing and loving her tenderly.
"A real man should act decisively and cleanly. Why so many worries?" Zhao Wan'er said softly, her supple body slowly leaning towards Hua Ruoxu.
Hua Ruoxu, his hands trembling slightly, slowly reached out. He was torn between his inner turmoil and his own desires. He knew that once his hands touched her, he would lose all control.
What felt like an eternity to Hua Ruoxu was a fleeting moment. When his hand finally touched Zhao Wan'er's soft body, his mind went blank. He stood there like a puppet for a moment, then suddenly pulled her tightly into his arms, his grip tightening as if he wanted to crush her in his embrace.
Zhao Wan'er let out a soft moan, a moan that ignited the desire within Hua Ruoxu. He lowered his head and kissed her fiercely.

Zhao Wan'er responded to his kiss awkwardly, her body writhing erratically, gradually growing hotter. A moment later, her robes were half undone, and Hua Ruoxu's hands slipped inside her underwear, climbing up her breasts.
More and more clothes lay on the ground, while the two of them were increasingly undressed. Hua Ruoxu greedily kissed every inch of her skin, from top to bottom. Intermittent moans escaped her lips, and Hua Ruoxu's primal desire grew stronger. Finally, he thrust into her sacred virginity, kissing her cherry lips again, silencing her painful moans.
When all his passion erupted within her, she clung to him like a limp lump of mud.
"Carry me to bed," Zhao Wan'er whispered. Hua Ruoxu obeyed, carrying her into the bed, gently stroking her skin. He didn't know what he felt—happiness or guilt? He didn't know; he only knew that he had ultimately succumbed to her allure.
"Husband, Wan'er is a little tired. Let's sleep for a while," Zhao Wan'er nestled in his arms, speaking softly. Hua Ruoxu didn't speak, but instinctively held her tighter. For some reason, he felt a sense of unease.
Perhaps because she was still reeling from her first time, Zhao Wan'er fell into a deep sleep after a short while. She slept peacefully, a slight smile playing on her lips.
Hua Ruoxu quietly got up, dressed, and slowly went outside. He stood silently in the corridor for a long while before finally returning to the room. He sat on the edge of the bed, quietly watching Zhao Wan'er's sleeping face.
Light footsteps sounded outside, followed by a gentle knock on the door, and Ouyang Bing'er's voice called out, "Uncle-Master, Uncle-Master, are you in there?"
Hua Ruoxu opened the door. Ouyang Bing'er was slightly startled, seemingly surprised that Hua Ruoxu was still there.
"Wan'er is asleep. Come find her later," Hua Ruoxu said softly. Ouyang Bing'er was indeed no longer wearing her veil, but Hua Ruoxu was somewhat hesitant to look her in the eye.
Ouyang Bing'er glanced at Hua Ruoxu suspiciously, then entered the room. Suddenly, she saw the clothes scattered on the bed, and her expression changed instantly. She suddenly lunged to the bedside, pulled back a corner of the blanket, and then abruptly turned around, slapping Hua Ruoxu hard across the face.
Caught off guard, Hua Ruoxu nearly took the hit, only managing to dodge the blow when it was almost upon him. However, Ouyang Bing'er didn't stop there, attacking Hua Ruoxu relentlessly like a madwoman, completely desperate.
"What are you doing? Can't you stop?" Hua Ruoxu was annoyed after narrowly escaping several blows.
"What am I doing? You despicable, lewd thief, don't you know what you've done to your martial uncle?" Ouyang Bing'er said angrily, her face flushed, launching another rapid attack, this time targeting Hua Ruoxu's vitals.
Hua Ruoxu looked ashamed, wanting to explain but unsure how, and could only silently dodge Ouyang Bing'er's increasingly fierce attacks.
"Bing'er, stop!" Zhao Wan'er's soft voice rang out. It was unclear when she had woken up, but then again, with such a commotion, it would be strange if she hadn't been awakened.
"Uncle-Master, are you just going to let this despicable fellow bully you like this?" Ouyang Bing'er obediently stopped, but still looked resentful, speaking indignantly.
"Husband, come help me get dressed." Zhao Wan'er smiled gently at Hua Ruoxu, then turned to Ouyang Bing'er and said, "Bing'er, you can go out now."
"Uncle-Master, you...you..." Ouyang Bing'er was filled with grievance. She couldn't believe Zhao Wan'er would ask Hua Ruoxu to help her dress, and instead tell her to leave.
"Bing'er, I know what I'm doing, you don't need to worry," Zhao Wan'er said softly. Ouyang Bing'er looked at Hua Ruoxu, then at Zhao Wan'er, and finally nodded gently, silently walking out.
Zhao Wan'er gently lifted the covers, revealing her perfect body to Hua Ruoxu. Hua Ruoxu blushed and his heart pounded. He struggled to control his thoughts and hurriedly dressed her.
After finally getting her dressed, Hua Ruoxu's hands and face were damp with sweat. Zhao Wan'er smiled sweetly, seemingly pleased with his performance.
"Wan'er," Hua Ruoxu called softly, unsure what to say next.
"Husband, I have something to tell you." Zhao Wan'er looked at Hua Ruoxu with a strange gaze, her expression gradually becoming serious.
"Wan'er, you insisted on marrying me just to tell me these things?" Hua Ruoxu smiled bitterly. He remembered Zhao Wan'er saying that there were some things she had to tell him only after he married her.
"Husband, if that's what you think, then Wan'er has nothing to say. But what I'm about to tell you, you must remember it well," Zhao Wan'er said softly. “About a hundred years ago, there were two fellow disciples who, under the command of their master, founded the Divine Palace and the Demon Palace respectively,” Zhao Wan’er said slowly. However, this sentence shocked Hua Ruoxu.
“ Wan’er, you’re not joking, are you? You mean, the Divine Palace and the Demon Palace were originally one family?” Hua Ruoxu couldn’t help but interrupt her. "You could say that the struggle between the Demon Palace and the Divine Palace over the past century has actually been nothing more than a conspiracy. They control the righteous path and the underworld respectively, together controlling the entire martial arts world. When a sect in the righteous path disobeys the Divine Palace, the Demon Palace will send people to attack it, and the same applies to the underworld. This forces all martial arts sects to be under the control of the Divine Palace and the Demon Palace." Zhao Wan'er nodded slightly. "In fact, the entire martial arts world for the past century has been manipulated by the master of those two sisters. Although he has been dead for a long time, the Divine Palace and the Demon Palace he founded still dominate the martial arts world." Hua Ruoxu opened his mouth but didn't say anything. He felt somewhat uneasy. He found Zhao Wan'er's words hard to believe, but she didn't seem to be lying. "However, I think the current situation between the Divine Palace and the Demon Palace doesn't seem to be like that." Hua Ruoxu thought for a while but still felt something was wrong and said with some doubt. “As far as I know, both my senior sister and Su Meier, the previous palace master of the Demon Palace, knew about this. However, after Su Meier died, my senior sister began planning to truly destroy the Demon Palace, and the Demon Palace seems to have the same intention. Currently, I am the only one in the entire Divine Palace who knows about this, while I am unaware of the Demon Palace’s situation,” Zhao Wan’er sighed softly. “Wan’er, I don’t quite understand. Why are you telling me this?” Hua Ruoxu asked after a moment of contemplation. “The Divine Palace is the culmination of my senior sister’s life’s work. For her sake, I must rebuild the Divine Palace,” Zhao Wan’er said softly. “But if the Demon Palace is determined to suppress us, the Divine Palace will never be able to regain its former glory. So I need your help.” “How can I help you?” Hua Ruoxu was still somewhat confused.

“If I’m not mistaken, Su Dai’er might not know the connection between the Divine Palace and the Demon Palace. All you have to do is tell her this. I know she’ll believe you,” Zhao Wan’er said softly. “When Su Mei’er died, Su Dai’er wasn’t by her side. There should have been someone else who told Su Dai’er these secrets, but I feel that person must have kept it from her for some reason.”
“I will tell Dai’er, but if you only want me to do this, there’s really no need to pay such a high price,” Hua Ruoxu said with emotion.
“Even Ya Qian and Bing’er don’t know this. I don’t plan to tell them. If, if I’m not here in the future, you can tell them for me,” Zhao Wan’er said quietly. “What I want to tell you is not just this. Perhaps you’ll understand later that if you marry me, you’ll be the one who suffers.”

Volume 11, Chapter 4, Wedding Night.

“I don’t believe I’ll suffer a loss,” Hua Ruoxu muttered to himself. At least for now, what Zhao Wan’er wanted him to do should be easy for him to do.
"I never imagined the Divine Palace would fall from its peak to its lowest point in such a short time. Otherwise, I wouldn't have left. If I hadn't left, perhaps things wouldn't have turned out this badly, and my senior sister wouldn't have died." Zhao Wan'er's voice was filled with self-blame; it seemed she still couldn't let go of her senior sister's death.
"This has nothing to do with you. Why are you blaming yourself?" Hua Ruoxu couldn't help but defend her.
"You don't understand. There are many things I still find hard to believe. Each Palace Master prepares several envoys for the next Palace Master. The number of envoys is uncertain, but there is one envoy that is always required: the Hidden Envoy. And each Hidden Envoy is the Palace Master's husband. Yet this Hidden Envoy actually betrayed the Divine Palace. No one could have imagined this." Zhao Wan'er shook her head and said slowly.
"Nangong Feiyun is Nangong Xuanyuan's son. What's abnormal about him betraying the Divine Palace?" Hua Ruoxu wondered if Zhao Wan'er didn't know Nangong Feiyun's true identity.
“Nangong Feiyun is from the Nangong family, how could he be Nangong Xuanyuan’s son? If he were, how could he become a Hidden Envoy?” Zhao Wan’er was slightly taken aback, realizing she really didn’t know.
“Anyway, you can believe me, Nangong Feiyun is indeed Nangong Xuanyuan’s son, that is, Su Dai’er’s twin brother. But don’t worry, even if he is Dai’er’s brother, I won’t let him go.” Hua Ruoxu said lazily, feeling a bit dizzy.
“Could it be that Nangong Xuanyuan did something like Senior Sister?” Zhao Wan’er murmured, her expression changing slightly.
“Did he do what? What kind of trick?” Hua Ruoxu was completely baffled.
“I heard that you dote on Xue Youyou, my husband?” Zhao Wan’er lowered her head and pondered for a full quarter of an hour before raising her head, looking at Hua Ruoxu with a complicated expression, and asked softly.
"Why are you asking this?" Hua Ruoxu felt a little amused. Why was she suddenly asking this? A mischievous urge to tease her arose in his mind. He smiled knowingly and said, "Wan'er, do you want me to pamper you more?"
"It would be best if my husband were to pamper Wan'er more," Zhao Wan'er's face seemed to flush slightly, but her expression grew even more melancholy. "But do you know? Xue Youyou shouldn't have the surname Xue."
"Is Youyou really not Xue Mingfeng's daughter?" Hua Ruoxu asked hastily. He remembered Feng Ping telling him about Xue Mingfeng's suspicions about Xue Youyou. Now, hearing Zhao Wan'er's words, it seemed Xue Mingfeng wasn't just making wild guesses.
Zhao Wan'er nodded gently but didn't speak.
"Then whose daughter is Youyou?" Hua Ruoxu asked again quickly. He was naturally very concerned about Xue Youyou's situation.
Zhao Wan'er suddenly leaned close to Hua Ruoxu's ear and said something that shocked him.
“Actually, Yaqian is Xue Mingfeng’s real daughter,” Zhao Wan’er said softly.
“Then, you mean, Youyou is your senior sister’s daughter?” Hua Ruoxu asked in surprise.
Zhao Wan’er nodded, but Hua Ruoxu was anything but happy; his face was extremely pale. So, Zhao Wan’er had become Youyou’s senior aunt?
“Is what you’re saying true? Is there anyone else who knows about this?” Hua Ruoxu asked again after a moment of silence.
“No one knows except you and me,” Zhao Wan’er shook her head. “If you don’t believe me, there’s nothing I can do, but you should know that I have no reason to lie to you.”
“Since no one else knows, why did you tell me? Do you know how difficult it will be for me to face Youyou in the future?” Hua Ruoxu was now filled with nameless anger, not knowing where to vent it.
“Don’t you know how hard it is to keep many secrets? You are my husband, so of course I want you to endure it with me.” Zhao Wan’er said matter-of-factly, and Hua Ruoxu was beginning to understand what she meant by him being at a disadvantage.
"Beauty is a curse, that saying holds some truth," Hua Ruoxu murmured.
However, what Hua Ruoxu hadn't expected was that Zhao Wan'er knew far more secrets than what he'd heard. When he finished listening to her, he felt an urge to flee, fearing she would reveal a whole host of things he'd never known before. And she insisted he keep these things a secret, that he must keep them to himself.
Ouyang Bing'er was not only the Holy Maiden of the Divine Palace, but also the biological daughter of the former Palace Master. Her father was naturally the previous Hidden Envoy, making him Xue Youyou's true father. And Xue Youyou and Ouyang Bing'er had become sisters! No wonder Ouyang Bing'er was so devoted to the Divine Palace, and Ouyang Jianping had even lost his life for his wife's revenge. However, Ouyang Jianping had uncovered a secret. The four great families jointly guard a secret, and its leak would be a fatal blow to them. This secret has become the reason for their mutual restraint. What he didn't expect was that Feng Guoyun's father wasn't Feng Yundong, but Elder Feng of the Divine Palace. Elder Feng's real name was Feng Yunqi, and he was the true head of the Feng family. Feng Yundong was merely a puppet he had placed there. Feng Yunqi also used the secret between the four families to coerce them into joining the Immortal Palace and serving him. The Hua, Xue, and Yue families had no choice but to obey his orders.
This complex web of relationships left Hua Ruoxu completely bewildered. Zhao Wan'er also demanded that when dealing with the Immortal Palace, he not allow Gong Yaqian to kill Xue Mingfeng and Feng Yunpiao, because they were her real parents, but he also couldn't reveal her true identity to Gong Yaqian. However, when Hua Ruoxu said that the people from the Divine Palace shouldn't interfere, Zhao Wan'er disagreed. She added that Ouyang Bing'er would be even more opposed, as she was determined to avenge her parents herself. However, they weren't entirely sure who had killed Ouyang Jianping.
At this moment, Hua Ruoxu felt a pang of pity for Ouyang Bing'er. In less than two years, both her biological parents had passed away, and despite her unparalleled martial arts skills, she was outnumbered and unable to avenge them. He seemed to understand her actions somewhat.
According to Zhao Wan'er, Ouyang Bing'er always thought Gong Yaqian was her younger sister, and therefore treated Gong Yaqian well. Gong Yaqian, however, knew nothing of this; she only knew Ouyang Bing'er as her senior sister. Of course, she was very kind to Ouyang Bing'er and listened to her.
"Wan'er, logically you should be Youyou's martial aunt, so what about us, what about us, isn't that... isn't that..." Hua Ruoxu stammered, but couldn't get the last two words out.
"You only just realized that now?" Zhao Wan'er smiled faintly, "What we're doing can indeed be considered incest, but you can just pretend you don't know."
"You, you knew this all along, yet you still made me marry you; now that I've married you, you tell me it's incest; you tell me, yet you want me to pretend I don't know. What exactly do you want?" Hua Ruoxu shouted at Zhao Wan'er, this time genuinely angry. This woman was clearly toying with him.
"Shh, keep it down, don't let them hear," Zhao Wan'er said with a light smile, still nonchalant. "I already told you, you might suffer if you marry me."
"You did this on purpose, didn't you?" Hua Ruoxu tried to calm himself, looking at her coldly.

"You're mistaken. Whether you believe it or not, you're the first man I haven't rejected. Perhaps I can't say I like you that much, but I know I have feelings for you," Zhao Wan'er said softly. "I'm just a weak woman, I don't want to bear so much burden, so I've transferred all these burdens to you. You're my husband, it's only right that you bear these burdens for me, isn't it?"
"But you clearly know this is incest, why did you still do it?" Hua Ruoxu said irritably.
"Actually, I stopped being a member of the Divine Palace twelve years ago. I'm just back to do what I feel I should do. I'm no longer their senior uncle." Zhao Wan'er slowly turned around, her beautiful eyes gazing out the dark window. "I'm just a woman all alone, with no connection to anyone. What are you worried about? Besides, you don't seem to be a very proper person, do you? I remember that of all your wives and concubines, only Hua Yuluan seemed to have a formal title."
"That's none of your business," Hua Ruoxu said irritably.
"I heard you used to be a scholar, timid and pedantic. Even though you've been traveling the martial world for two years, you still don't seem to have gotten rid of that scholarly air," Zhao Wan'er said, shaking her head.
"You seem to know quite a bit about my affairs. It seems you've been paying attention to me for quite some time now, haven't you?" Hua Ruoxu said irritably.
"You are Wan'er's husband, how could Wan'er not understand you?" Zhao Wan'er smiled leisurely, while Hua Ruoxu, full of anger, didn't know where to vent it.
"It's getting late, I'll head back now. You should get some rest too." In a fit of anger, Hua Ruoxu decided to leave immediately. He turned and walked out.
"Tonight is our wedding night! Are you really just leaving like this?" Zhao Wan'er said resentfully, though Hua Ruoxu wasn't sure if she was faking it.
Hua Ruoxu stared intently at Zhao Wan'er. She seemed unable to bear his gaze; two blushes rose on her face, and she slowly lowered her head, looking somewhat flustered, a far cry from her previous composure.
Hua Ruoxu steeled himself, walked over, and swept her up in his arms, pulling her into the bedchamber. With a gentle wave of his hand, the lights went out, and faint moans and low breaths filled the room. Hua Ruoxu focused intently on conquering every inch of this stunning beauty's body, venting his pent-up frustration and anxieties on her.
*** *** ***
“Husband, are you feeling better now?” Zhao Wan’er’s soft voice echoed in the darkness.
“Wan’er, you’re simply a bewitching enchantress.” Hua Ruoxu gently embraced her and sighed softly.
“When a man is unhappy, he likes two things the most: women and wine. I’m the one who made you unhappy, so I want to make you happy too.” Zhao Wan’er’s slender fingers lightly traced Hua Ruoxu’s chest as she spoke softly.
“Didn’t you say you’ve hardly ever known any men? How come you seem to know men so well?” Hua Ruoxu felt a vague unease, unsure of what to feel.
“I stayed at the Goddess Nunnery for twelve years. In those twelve years, I took in hundreds of women. Most of them wanted to become nuns because they were disillusioned with men. They would tell me their stories about men. After hearing so many, I naturally understood men.” Zhao Wan’er whispered in Hua Ruoxu’s ear.
"Wan'er, you...you won't become a nun, will you?" Hua Ruoxu asked hesitantly, thinking that she had spent twelve years in a nunnery, and who knew if she would actually become a nun one day.
"I was already a nun, but I practice with my hair intact." Zhao Wan'er suddenly giggled, which almost startled Hua Ruoxu.
Hua Ruoxu rolled over and pinned her beneath him, burying his face in her breasts and kissing them, sucking on the crimson nipple. He finally decided not to ask this woman any more questions. Perhaps she really understood men too well; he always felt at a disadvantage in front of her. Perhaps only at times like this could he gain a little bit of the upper hand. Zhao Wan'er's coy resistance and compliant advances seemed to satisfy his slight desire to conquer.

In the early morning, Hua Ruoxu reluctantly broke free from Zhao Wan'er's entanglement, not wanting to wake her from her slumber. He quietly dressed and got up, giving her a light kiss on the cheek before leaving.
Walking through the corridor to the front door, he was blocked by someone—Ouyang Bing'er.
"Give me back my veil!" Ouyang Bing'er looked somewhat haggard, her tone cold.
"I already threw it away," Hua Ruoxu said, startled.
"You! You actually threw it away?" Ouyang Bing'er said angrily, her face changing, her hand rising as if to hit him again, but this time she didn't actually strike, immediately withdrawing her hand.
"It's just a veil, and now you're not wearing it anymore, what else do you want?" Hua Ruoxu seemed to deliberately provoke her; seeing her angry gave him a strange sense of pleasure.
"Just a veil? So, in your eyes, it's just a veil. Fine, Hua Ruoxu, I've seen through you!" Ouyang Bing'er's face turned ashen, she glared fiercely at Hua Ruoxu, turned and ran outside.

"Miss Bing'er, long time no see!" Ouyang Bing'er was walking alone on the street, somewhat lost and dejected, when a voice suddenly came from behind her.
Ouyang Bing'er whirled around. Not far ahead, a man in white was smiling at her. He was handsome, a true gentleman, but Ouyang Bing'er's eyes were filled with anger and disgust, simply because this man was Nangong Feiyun.
"I don't know you!" Ouyang Bing'er said coldly.
"Holy Maiden, you really have a short memory, forgetting your subordinate so quickly," Nangong Feiyun said, still smiling.
"You, Nangong Feiyun, since you've delivered yourself to my doorstep, I'll kill you today!" Ouyang Bing'er's mood was already a mess, and now it was even harder for her to remain calm.
"Bing'er, Bing'er, don't you care about your Snow Mountain disciples?" Nangong Feiyun sighed softly.
Ouyang Bing'er's expression changed, a sense of unease rising within her. Although she didn't know why Nangong Feiyun knew she was the Holy Maiden of the Divine Palace, now that he knew, the Snow Mountain Sect was exposed. While the Snow Mountain Sect members were skilled in martial arts, they only numbered a few dozen, a pittance compared to the Demon Palace's numerous subordinates—like an egg against a rock. And judging from Nangong Feiyun's words, it was highly likely he had already attacked the Snow Mountain Sect disciples.
"Nangong Feiyun, I think you should worry about yourself first," a cold voice rang out. Hua Ruoxu suddenly appeared beside Ouyang Bing'er, looking at Nangong Feiyun with a mocking gaze. It turned out Hua Ruoxu had been following Ouyang Bing'er the whole time, initially worried about her safety, but unexpectedly encountered Nangong Feiyun instead.
A fleeting hint of joy flashed across Ouyang Bing'er's face upon seeing Hua Ruoxu, but it quickly replaced with a cold expression, and she gave him a cold snort.
"Hua Ruoxu, you'd better not meddle in other people's business," Nangong Feiyun said, his expression changing.
Hua Ruoxu snorted coldly, slowly drawing his Love Sword and pointing it at Nangong Feiyun.
"Grievances of the martial world, please step aside to avoid harming the innocent," Hua Ruoxu said in a deep voice. Even without his words, passersby quickly moved aside, and the once bustling street instantly became deserted. Of course, there were still quite a few fearless onlookers on both sides.
"Bing'er, you step aside too," Hua Ruoxu said softly.
However, Ouyang Bing'er ignored him, showing no intention of leaving, and even giving him a look that said, "Why should I listen to you?"
Hua Ruoxu ignored Ouyang Bing'er, focusing intently on Nangong Feiyun. His true energy rapidly filled his body and then flowed into the Love Sword, its flashing light dancing joyfully. A murderous intent had already risen in his heart. He was determined to kill Nangong Feiyun to avenge Shaolin, but rather than go to the Demon Palace to kill him, it was better to kill him now.
Nangong Feiyun felt an incredibly powerful aura approaching, an aura capable of destroying any obstacle. He couldn't help but feel a slight fear; he knew Hua Ruoxu's martial arts were superior to his own. "Wait!"

Nangong

Feiyun's voice trembled slightly. He had already sensed Hua Ruoxu's intense killing intent, and under the pressure of Hua Ruoxu's powerful aura, he finally felt fear.
However, Hua Ruoxu seemed completely oblivious to Nangong Feiyun's words. His eyes flashed with cold light, his wrist gradually tightening, a thunderous strike about to be unleashed. Beside him, Ouyang Bing'er seemed unable to bear the killing intent emanating from him either, silently taking a small step back. Her beautiful eyes lingered on Hua Ruoxu, a complex expression on her pretty face—a mixture of resentment and concern.
"Hua Ruoxu, don't you want Jiang Xiaoyue's life?" Nangong Feiyun involuntarily took two steps back, shouting at Hua Ruoxu with a fierce but weak voice.
"Nangong Feiyun, Jiang Xiaoyue is your wife, what does that have to do with me?" Hua Ruoxu paused slightly upon hearing Jiang Xiaoyue's name, his powerful aura noticeably softening, but he still coldly stared at Nangong Feiyun and said in a cold voice.
"Hua Ruoxu, even if you don't care about that bitch, surely you care about your precious son?" Nangong Feiyun smiled sinisterly, as if he had found a magic weapon to deal with Hua Ruoxu, and immediately calmed down.
"Nonsense!" Hua Ruoxu raised his sword of passion once again.
"Hua Ruoxu, don't you know that that bitch Jiang Xiaoyue has given birth to a son for you?" Nangong Feiyun sneered.
"Impossible!" Hua Ruoxu said decisively, a look of disdain on his face. "Nangong Feiyun, I truly feel ashamed for you. To save your own life, you'd even risk your wife's innocence!"
"Hua Ruoxu, Jiang Xiaoyue is nothing but a pawn in my game, at most just a plaything. What right does such a woman have to be my wife, Nangong Feiyun's wife! If you don't believe me, you can ask that woman yourself!" Nangong Feiyun laughed twice to cover his unease. He sensed that the people secretly watching were mocking him, laughing at his wife's infidelity.
"Could Jiang Xiaoyue's child really be yours?" Ouyang Bing'er suddenly leaned close to Hua Ruoxu and whispered.
"How could that be? I have absolutely no relationship with her!" Hua Ruoxu said irritably.
"Then why is Nangong Feiyun so certain?" Ouyang Bing'er said, somewhat unconvinced.
Hua Ruoxu didn't answer. He recalled the events of over a year ago at the inn. Could something have really happened that day that he didn't know about? For a moment, he hesitated.
"Nangong Feiyun, I'll let you go today! Get lost!" Hua Ruoxu, still harboring doubts, hesitated repeatedly before finally deciding to let him go.
"Nangong Feiyun, you stop right there!" Just as Nangong Feiyun secretly breathed a sigh of relief and turned to leave, Ouyang Bing'er's sweet voice rang out behind him.
"What are your orders, Holy Maiden?" Nangong Feiyun turned around, smiling obsequiously.
"Nangong Feiyun, what have you done to my Snow Mountain Sect disciples?" Ouyang Bing'er asked through gritted teeth.
"Holy Maiden, why don't you go and see for yourself? I'll take my leave now; my precious son is waiting for me at home." Nangong Feiyun smiled slightly, glancing at Hua Ruoxu as he spoke.
"Protector Nangong, where are you in such a hurry?" A melodious and gentle voice called out.
Hua Ruoxu was slightly startled. Why was she here?
"Your subordinate greets the Third Elder!" Nangong Feiyun was also somewhat surprised, but he immediately bowed respectfully; his public image was quite impressive.
"Protector Nangong, the Palace Master wishes to see you. Come with me!" Sun Yunyan said calmly, then took the lead, not even glancing at Hua Ruoxu. However, at this moment, Hua Ruoxu heard Sun Yunyan's voice: "The people of the Snow Mountain Sect are alright. Tell Ouyang Bing'er not to worry." When Hua Ruoxu looked
at her again, he only saw her slender and beautiful back, and for a moment he was slightly lost in thought.
"Don't chase after them yet. Go check on the Snow Mountain disciples; they should be alright." Seeing that Nangong Feiyun had really left with Sun Yunyan, Ouyang Bing'er wanted to chase after them, but Hua Ruoxu grabbed her.
"How do you know?" Ouyang Bing'er said irritably, struggling to shake off Hua Ruoxu's hand, but she didn't chase after them anymore.
"Go and take a look first. As for how I know, you don't need to worry about that," Hua Ruoxu said calmly. Without waiting for Ouyang Bing'er's reply, he headed towards the Snow Mountain Sect's hideout.
The Snow Mountain Sect had remained in Jinling, ostensibly to search for their young lady, Ouyang Bing'er, but in reality, that wasn't the case. When Hua Ruoxu and Ouyang Bing'er arrived together, everyone's faces showed strange expressions, especially when they saw that Ouyang Bing'er wasn't wearing a veil. However, despite their surprise, no one asked anything.
"Aunt Lan, what happened here just now?" Ouyang Bing'er asked Ouyang Lan. Her words immediately made everyone understand that Ouyang Bing'er was no longer going to hide anything.
"Miss, people from the Demon Palace attacked us just now, but strangely, not long after, an elder from the Demon Palace came and ordered them to retreat, so we weren't harmed," Ouyang Lan said softly.
"An elder of the Demon Palace? Is it Sun Yunyan?" Ouyang Bing'er was slightly surprised, but her gaze drifted towards Hua Ruoxu as she asked.
"Miss, it is indeed her," Ouyang Lan said respectfully.
"We can't stay here any longer. Pack your things and prepare to leave," Ouyang Bing'er said after a moment's thought.

"Since they're alright, I'll be going now. If you need any help, have Wan'er come find me," Hua Ruoxu paused slightly, "or you can come find me yourself."
For some reason, Ouyang Bing'er seemed much nicer to Hua Ruoxu today, at least not like last night when she wanted to fight him. She didn't react much after hearing Hua Ruoxu's words, only staring blankly at his retreating figure after he left.
Hua Ruoxu returned to the Hua residence with a heavy heart, still thinking about Nangong Feiyun's words. Could Xiaoyue's child really be his?
As soon as he stepped into the hall, he sensed something was amiss. As usual, the hall was filled with women, but it lacked its usual liveliness. He glanced around and noticed an extra person—the person he had been thinking about: Jiang Xiaoyue.
"Xiaoyue, you're here just in time. I was just about to look for you," Hua Ruoxu said with a forced smile, a sense of unease rising within him. Jiang Xiaoyue's appearance was far too coincidental.
Jiang Xiaoyue nodded silently, timidly following behind Hua Ruoxu. Hanxue seemed to want to follow as well, but was stopped by Hua Yufeng.

"Xiaoyue, did you come here to tell me something?" Hua Ruoxu looked at Jiang Xiaoyue, a strange feeling welling up inside him. He didn't ask about the child first, but he had a feeling that Jiang Xiaoyue had come to talk about this.
"Young Master, I, I..." Jiang Xiaoyue stammered, her head lowered, but after a long while, she still couldn't say anything.
"Xiaoyue, you can still call me as before." Hua Ruoxu sighed inwardly. Jiang Xiaoyue seemed to have become very distant from him.
"Young Master, I, I beg you to save my child." Jiang Xiaoyue suddenly knelt down in front of Hua Ruoxu with a thud.
"Xiaoyue, get up quickly!" Hua Ruoxu was startled and quickly pulled her up.
"Hua Lang, let me speak." At this moment, Jiang Qingyue walked in from outside.
"Sister Qing, you know?" Hua Ruoxu asked, slightly taken aback.
"Actually, I've known about this for a long time, but I haven't told you because I didn't want you to be threatened by Nangong Feiyun." Jiang Qingyue nodded gently. "Xiaoyue once told me that her child is actually yours. Now Nangong Feiyun has taken the child away and is forcing Xiaoyue to tell you, otherwise, he will harm the child."

"Xiaoyue, tell me the truth, what exactly happened after I got drunk at the inn that day?" Hua Ruoxu took a deep breath and looked at Jiang Xiaoyue intently as she asked.
“When I saw you that time, I was supposed to marry Nangong Feiyun in three days, so I slipped some aphrodisiac into the wine.” Jiang Xiaoyue blushed slightly on her pale face. “I thought Nangong Feiyun wouldn’t find out, but after the wedding, he never entered my room, never slept with me, and never even touched me. Later, he found out I was pregnant and forced me to reveal the father of the child. If I didn’t tell him, he threatened to give me an abortion pill, so I had no choice but to tell him.” Jiang Xiaoyue kept her head down, avoiding Hua Ruoxu’s eyes, and her voice grew softer and softer. If Hua Ruoxu hadn’t had good hearing, he probably wouldn’t have been able to hear her clearly.
“Then why are you only telling me now?” Hua Ruoxu felt a mixture of guilt and anger.
“I didn’t want to cause you trouble, so I didn’t say anything.” Jiang Xiaoyue quickly looked up at Hua Ruoxu, then lowered her head again. “I don’t know why, but Nangong Feiyun just rushed to find me and said I wanted to talk to you. I didn’t want to come, but I was afraid he would kill the child in a fit of anger, so I had no choice but to come here.”
“I understand. Don’t worry, I will bring the child back.” Hua Ruoxu said after a moment of silence. “Sister Qing, you should go and settle Xiaoyue first.”
“I… I have to go back.” Jiang Xiaoyue said timidly.
“You don’t need to go back. You can stay here from now on.” Hua Ruoxu’s tone was calm, but also very firm.
“No, I have to go back, otherwise, something will happen to the child!” Jiang Xiaoyue raised her head, her tone also very resolute.
"Now I'm in charge. You stay here obediently and don't go anywhere!" Hua Ruoxu said in a deep voice, then turned to Jiang Qingyue, "Sister Qing, keep an eye on her. Don't let her go anywhere until that bastard Nangong Feiyun is still alive!"
"Hua Lang, don't worry, I know what to do." Jiang Qingyue nodded and said softly.
"Miss, I beg you, please let me go back!" Hua Ruoxu left the room, while Jiang Xiaoyue began to plead with Jiang Qingyue.
"Xiaoyue, I've always considered you my own sister. Don't worry, I won't harm you." Jiang Qingyue looked at Jiang Xiaoyue with pity in her eyes, gently embracing her while simultaneously sealing her martial arts. "Xiaoyue, Hua Lang is doing this for your own good. If you go back, Nangong Feiyun will not only have the child but also you as a bargaining chip, making him even more difficult to deal with. But don't worry, Nangong Feiyun wouldn't dare do anything to the child; he wouldn't dare lose this bargaining chip."

Just as Hua Ruoxu arrived at Hua Yufeng's door, the door opened automatically, revealing Hua Yufeng's beautiful face. She seemed to have anticipated Hua Ruoxu's arrival.
"I already know about Xiaoyue's matter. I just want to know, are you sure that child is yours?" Before Hua Ruoxu could speak, Hua Yufeng asked first.
"Feng'er, I'm not sure either, but judging from what Xiaoyue said, I think it should be." Hua Ruoxu's tone wasn't very natural.
"Were you with Zhao Wan'er last night?" Hua Yufeng looked at Hua Ruoxu, remained silent for a long time, and then asked softly.
"Feng'er, I..." Hua Ruoxu nodded; he didn't want to hide it from her.
"Fang Xia left with the Kunlun disciples. I think you know why, right?" Hua Yufeng turned around, her back to Hua Ruoxu.
"Feng'er, I'm sorry." Hua Ruoxu gently hugged her.
"I don't mean to blame you. Besides, I'm not your older sister, so I have no right to criticize you. If you were really so devoted, I wouldn't be able to stay by your side." Hua Yufeng said softly.
"Feng'er, you know that in my heart, you are just as important as my senior sister." Hua Ruoxu said gently, tightening his grip on her and turning her around. He noticed faint tear tracks on her face and was startled.
"Feng'er, please don't cry. I won't do anything reckless again." Hua Ruoxu gently kissed away the tear tracks on her face and murmured.
Hua Yufeng softly hummed in agreement, leaning obediently against Hua Ruoxu, remaining silent for a long while.
"Feng'er, Wan'er told me many things." Although Zhao Wan'er had told him not to tell anyone else, Hua Ruoxu might keep things from Hua Yuluan, but he certainly wouldn't hide anything from Hua Yufeng.
Hua Yufeng was genuinely shocked when she heard what Hua Ruoxu said. So many secrets she had never heard of before left her stunned, taking a long time to process them.
"Junior brother, does Youyou know about this?" Hua Yufeng asked softly.
"Wan'er said that no one else knows except her." Hua Ruoxu shook his head, then thought for a moment and added, "Feng'er, you mustn't tell Youyou, otherwise she'll be very upset, and might even try to avenge her biological parents."
"Junior brother, go find Su Dai'er first and see if she knows about this." Hua Yufeng gently stood up from his embrace. Although Hua Ruoxu was somewhat reluctant, he still agreed.
"Junior Brother!" Hua Ruoxu had just reached the door when Hua Yufeng suddenly called out from behind.
"Feng'er, is there anything else?" Hua Ruoxu quickly turned around, looking at Hua Yufeng with hopeful eyes.
"Junior Brother, remember to spend more time with Sister Tianxing," Hua Yufeng said softly.

Demon Palace. Su Daier was furious. Nangong Feiyun had actually sneaked away while Sun Yunyan came in to report, completely disregarding her, the Palace Master.
"Sister Yunyan, what do you think we should do?" Su Daier looked at Sun Yunyan, who was standing quietly to the side, and asked.
"Palace Master, I think Protector Nangong probably wants to avoid us. That way, even if we announce the disbandment of his Feiyun Hall, he can pretend he knows nothing about it," Sun Yunyan said after thinking for a moment.
"I know what he's thinking. They, father and son, think one is my father and the other is my brother. No matter what, I won't kill them," Su Daier said, her face frosty, clearly very angry.
"Miss, Miss, Young Master is here!" Liu Yun rushed in, looking rather happy. With Hua Ruoxu here, Su Dai'er would surely be less angry, making things much easier for her as his maid.
"Didn't I tell you to let Brother Ruoxu in directly? Why did you have to announce him?" Unfortunately, Liu Yun's joy was premature, and she still received a scolding from Su Dai'er.
Feeling wronged, Liu Yun went out and returned a moment later with Hua Ruoxu.
Su Dai'er waved her hand, and Liu Yun and Sun Yunyan discreetly withdrew, standing guard at a distance. As Sun Yunyan closed the door, she saw Su Dai'er nimbly jump onto Hua Ruoxu's lap, and a pang of sadness welled up inside her.
"Brother Ruoxu, Dai'er is so tired!" Su Dai'er nestled in Hua Ruoxu's arms, speaking softly. Hua Ruoxu looked at her with concern; her face truly showed signs of exhaustion.
"Dair, do you know what the relationship is between your Demon Palace and the Divine Palace?" After a long, gentle embrace, Hua Ruoxu finally spoke, as there was still business to be done.
"The Divine Palace and the Demon Palace are natural enemies, everyone in the martial world knows that." Su Dai'er's voice was soft and weak, but there was no hesitation.
"Dair, before your mother died, did she tell you anything or give you anything?" Hua Ruoxu thought for a moment and then asked.
"Brother Ruoxu, my mother taught me a lot of things. After she died, Elder Nangong, who is also my father, told me that my mother was killed by people from the Divine Palace." Su Dai'er said softly, then suddenly looked up at Hua Ruoxu with bright eyes, "Brother Ruoxu, you seem a little strange today, why are you asking these questions?"
"It's nothing, I'm just concerned about you, Dai'er." Hua Ruoxu smiled slightly, looking at her alluring cherry lips, he lowered his head slightly and kissed her. Hua Ruoxu did not want to tell Su Daier about the so-called connection between the Divine Palace and the Demon Palace as Zhao Wan'er had suggested. However, he was basically certain that Zhao Wan'er's judgment was correct. Some people in the Demon Palace had not told Su Daier what they should have told her, and it seemed that the most likely person to be that person was Nangong Xuanyuan.
