After finally convincing my wife, we registered and made some friends. But after chatting with them, they all seemed strange, secretive, and furtive. I haven't met any genuine single men or couples, which is very disappointing.
One single man suggested meeting for dinner,
but he canceled at the last minute. Another man insisted on karaoke because he likes it, but my wife said she didn't want to go out at night and was worried about safety, so we suggested meeting for dinner and a chat on a weekend afternoon. Then the single man said he already had plans.
A couple I met immediately asked if I was handsome and wanted to video chat; when I said no, they ignored me.
Another couple I chatted with revealed that the wife hadn't even agreed to meet yet; it was just the husband's wishful thinking.
