Volume Six: Sword's Movement. Chapter One: Xiao Xue's Power (Part 1).

More than a month has passed in the blink of an eye, and Hua Ruoxu's death seems to have been gradually forgotten. However, in the past month, Jinling City has been filled with the stench of blood. It has become commonplace for disciples of the Seven Sects and Four Families Alliance to lie dead in the streets, and on the Demon Palace side, people are also dying from time to time.
Hua Yufeng's prestige within the Seven Sects and Four Families Alliance had significantly diminished. Since Hua Ruoxu's death, she had rarely handled alliance affairs, and rumors began to circulate that Hua Yufeng had also been Hua Ruoxu's lover, and that her heart was naturally broken by his departure. Hua Yufeng did not refute these rumors and continued her secluded life.
Hua Yuluan suddenly left the Ye family, but did not leave Jinling. She bought a house in Jinling and set up a mourning hall for Hua Ruoxu. Three days later would be the forty-ninth day memorial service for Hua Ruoxu.
Hua Yuluan guarded the mourning hall alone. She did not cry, for she had run out of tears over the past forty-odd days.

A beautiful young woman in white, followed by a middle-aged couple, had just entered Jinling City. Upon entering the city, the young woman began inquiring about a certain person's name, but almost everyone who heard the name shook their heads and hurriedly ran away, much to the young woman's distress.
"Uncle Yun, Aunt Yun, what's wrong with these people?" The girl pouted, looking quite dissatisfied.
"Xiaoxue, maybe they don't know. We'll just ask someone else," Aunt Yun said after thinking for a moment, but a sense of unease lingered in her heart. She directly told her that something might have happened to the person they were inquiring about.
"Miss Hanxue." A soft sigh sounded beside the girl.
The girl was Hanxue, who had been missing for many days. Hearing someone call her name, she was overjoyed. Finally, someone recognized her, and she could ask this person about the young master.
However, when she turned her head, she found the person to be quite familiar, but she couldn't remember his name.
"Brother, are you calling me?" Hanxue blinked her beautiful eyes and asked the person who came.
"Miss Hanxue, I am Fang Xia. We have met before." Fang Xia looked somewhat embarrassed, not expecting that Hanxue wouldn't recognize him so quickly.
"Oh, it's you. I remember now," Hanxue tilted her head and thought for a moment, looking quite adorable. "By the way, Brother Fang, could you tell me where my young master is? I've asked so many people, but none of them will tell me." Hanxue was most concerned about her young master.
Fang Xia was silent for a moment, then sighed.
"Miss Hanxue doesn't know yet?" Fang Xia's voice was somewhat bitter.
"Brother Fang, if I knew, why would I be asking you?" Hanxue said somewhat unhappily.
Looking at her expectant eyes, Fang Xia really couldn't bear to tell her the truth, but he also knew that even if he didn't tell her now, she would eventually find out.
"Brother Hua... he's gone!" Fang Xia's voice was low, and he uttered these words with great difficulty. To be fair, he still had a good impression of Hua Ruoxu; to some extent, he had already considered him a friend. However, Hua Ruoxu died just like that, leaving this world before he was even twenty years old.
"Gone? What, gone? Is he not in Jinling? But I heard he was here." Hanxue asked, seemingly unable to grasp Fang Xia's meaning or unwilling to believe the possibility.
"Brother Hua passed away more than a month ago!" Fang Xia said softly.
"Xiaoxue, Xiaoxue!" Aunt Yun called anxiously, and Hanxue collapsed into her arms, unconscious.
"I want to see the young master." After a moment, Hanxue slowly woke up, barely managing to stand up, but surprisingly, she didn't cry, only speaking in an unexpectedly calm tone.
"Today is Brother Hua's forty-seventh-day memorial ceremony. Miss Hanxue can come with me." Fang Xia said softly, and Hanxue nodded blankly.
Aunt Yun felt a pang of pity. In the past few days, she had personally witnessed Hanxue learn in less than half a year what others would take at least three years to learn, for one reason only: she wanted to see her beloved young master as soon as possible. However, now that she has finally completed her training and left the valley, she will never see the person she longs to see again. All her hopes were shattered in an instant, bringing only endless sorrow.
*** *** ***
Perhaps no one could have imagined that the first person to come to pay their respects would be Ye Bu'er.
"Madam Hua, please accept my condolences," Ye Bu'er said in a low voice. Hua Yuluan nodded in return.
"Nangong Xuanyuan has poisoned countless lives. I, Ye Bu'er, will surely restore order to the martial world. At that time, Young Master Hua's great revenge will also be avenged," Ye Bu'er said softly. Hua Yuluan's expression remained unchanged, but a hint of disdain lingered in her heart. She knew Ye Bu'er was merely putting on an act, to show others how benevolent he was, how he could forgive even someone like Hua Ruoxu, and to let others know that he would lead a seven-sect, four-family alliance against the Demon Palace. However, Hua Yuluan had no interest in any of this anymore. If it weren't for the last vestige of attachment in her heart, she would have already followed Hua Ruoxu in death.
More and more people arrived, including representatives from all the major sects in Jinling. Perhaps this was the difference between the so-called righteous and the underworld. These righteous people clearly wished for someone's death, but when that person actually died, they would still come to offer a perfunctory tribute.
The mournful sound of a zither drifted in, and Su Dai'er, dressed in white mourning clothes, slowly stepped into the mourning hall, carrying her zither. Behind her followed Liu Yun, Lu Yunchang, and the Four Gentlemen of the Martial World.
"Brother Ruoxu, Dai'er has come to see you." Su Dai'er slowly walked to the altar and gently stroked Hua Ruoxu's memorial tablet. She had once held onto a sliver of hope, but almost two months had passed, and there was still no news of Hua Ruoxu. She had almost given up hope.
"You killed him, and now you come here crying and wailing, shameless!" someone whispered in the crowd. Lu Yunchang's expression changed, and he shifted slightly, about to attack. Su Dai'er gently waved her hand, stopping him.
"Don't cause trouble in front of Brother Ruoxu's spirit tablet," Su Dai'er said calmly.
Three stunningly beautiful girls filed in, namely Xue Youyou, Jiang Qingyue, and Hua Feimeng. Perhaps it had been more than a month, but all the sorrow had been buried deep in their hearts. No sadness could be seen on their faces, only indifference, indifference to everything.
"Hua Ruoxu, with my three envoys keeping vigil for you, you should be content even if you die," Gong Yaqian thought to herself. She did not come in because she felt she had no reason to come and pay her respects to Hua Ruoxu.

Volume 6 Sword Movement Chapter 1 Little Snow's Power (Part 2)

Fang Xia led Han Xue and the other two to the outside of the mourning hall. While they were hesitating, Han Xue rushed in first. Han Xue's next action was astonishing. In full view of everyone, she ran to the spirit tablet, hugged it to her arms, and turned to run away.
"Stop!" Several delicate shouts rang out at the same time.
"Han Xue, is that you?" Hua Yuluan was surprised. Han Xue had been missing for so long, and she really didn't expect to see her again.
Hanxue looked at Hua Yuluan with unfamiliar eyes. Uncle Yun and Aunt Yun quickly came to Hanxue's side to protect her, as the other women were glaring at her menacingly.
"Hanxue, what are you doing? Where are you taking my junior brother's memorial tablet?" Hua Yuluan said angrily.
"I took his memorial tablet because none of you are qualified to pay your respects to him." Hanxue glanced at Hua Yuluan coldly, then slowly swept her gaze over the other women. "I don't know how the young master died, but if it weren't for you, he certainly wouldn't have died. Who among you dares to say that the young master's death has nothing to do with you?"
"Miss, you killed the young master!" Hanxue turned to Hua Yuluan and said angrily. "The young master was perfectly fine on Mount Hua, why did you force him to leave? If the young master hadn't left Mount Hua, he certainly wouldn't have died, he certainly wouldn't have."
"Xiaoxue, don't blame your sister, your junior brother's death has nothing to do with you." A soft voice came from behind.
"And you!" Hanxue showed no sign of stopping, shouting at the newcomer, "Miss, do you know? I always thought you were the best, but why didn't you take care of the young master? Why? You loved him so much, why did you watch him go to his death?" Hanxue's face was covered in tears, her voice gradually becoming hoarse.
"None of you are qualified to mourn the young master, none of you are. If it weren't for you, the young master would have been very happy. It was you people who killed the young master, it was you." Hanxue moved away step by step, muttering to herself. No one stopped her anymore, because what Hanxue said was indeed true. None of them could escape responsibility for Hua Ruoxu's death. A
faint white shadow flashed, and the memorial tablet in Hanxue's arms was suddenly snatched away. A celestial woman suddenly appeared before everyone's eyes. It was indescribable how beautiful she was; all that was known was that her appearance overshadowed all the other women present.
"It's you?" Hua Yuluan was slightly taken aback. She wouldn't forget this woman, who was far more beautiful than herself. After she snatched Hua Ruoxu away last time, she had already imprinted her image deeply in her mind.
Hua Tianxing smiled sweetly, gently kneading and pinching the memorial tablet in her hand, which instantly turned into powder.
"He's not dead, why set up a memorial tablet!" Hua Tianxing's words were astonishing.
"Sister Tianxing, is it really you?" Jiang Qingyue slowly walked over, seemingly unable to believe her eyes.
"You said my junior brother isn't dead? Is it true? Yes, he must be with you, right?" Hua Yuluan jumped over in a flash, grabbing Hua Tianxing's hand and asking urgently.
The other women also looked at Hua Tianxing with eager eyes. Not only them, but also the people from various sects who came to pay their respects stared intently at her, eager to know if Hua Ruoxu was really alive.
"He's not with me, and I don't know where he is, but I can confirm he's not dead. Believe it or not." Hua Tianxing looked at Hua Yuluan with a hint of pity, sighed softly, and unintentionally revealed a worry in his eyes, though Hua Yuluan, caught up in her joy, didn't notice.
"Really? That's wonderful! Hua Lang really isn't dead!" Jiang Qingyue murmured. Others might not believe Hua Tianxing, but she absolutely did. She and Hua Ruoxu had watched Hua Tianxing emerge from the Sword of Love.
"In short, remember, he's definitely still alive, although I don't know where he is now." Hua Tianxing slowly glanced at the women and said softly, his tone seemingly carrying a hint of doting affection. "Take good care of yourselves, so he won't be sad later."
With a flash of white, Hua Tianxing disappeared after saying this, leaving everyone stunned. Hua Yuluan thought for a moment and finally removed the mourning hall. Although she still had some doubts about Hua Tianxing's words, at this moment, she preferred to believe him, because that was the outcome she had hoped for.
*** *** ***
Hua Ruoxu is not dead. This news quickly spread throughout Jinling and then throughout the martial arts world. News about Hua Ruoxu had gradually subsided, but now it became lively again. After Hua Ruoxu's death, many beautiful young women mourned for her, and now that they learned that Hua Ruoxu was alive, some began to feel envious.
Of course, the most disappointed were Nangong Xuanyuan and Ye Bu'er. Nangong Xuanyuan, disregarding the demeanor of a grandmaster, repeatedly attacked Hua Ruoxu with despicable methods, with only one goal: to kill him. Now that he was still alive, how could he not be disappointed? As for why Ye Bu'er was also so disappointed, it was somewhat puzzling, but when he learned that Hua Ruoxu was still alive, he was indeed the first to leave the mourning hall.
Although everyone seemed to believe Hua Ruoxu was still alive, more than a month had passed, and he still hadn't reappeared in the martial world. The martial world remained chaotic, but Jinling had seen a slight change: fewer people had died recently.
Nangong Xuanyuan was now in a rather awkward situation. While Su Dai'er couldn't do anything to him out of familial ties, she had clearly distanced herself from him. The main affairs of the Demon Palace were now gradually being handled by Lu Yunchang, who had finally moved from the shadows into the open.
What angered him even more was that Ye Bu'er was completely out of his control, and he had also discovered that Ye Bu'er, whom he had always considered to have low martial arts skills, seemed to be no less capable than him. Ye Bu'er's cunning truly lived up to his reputation as a wise sage.
However, Nangong Xuanyuan was no ordinary person. He naturally wouldn't sit idly by and wait for his doom. He still had one last move, but he didn't want to take that step until the very last moment.

Volume 6, Chapter 2: Survival in Desperate Circumstances (Part 1)

Before Hua Ruoxu was struck by Nangong Xuanyuan, he was somewhat on guard. However, for someone already severely injured like him, that guardedness was practically meaningless in front of Nangong Xuanyuan.
As he plummeted down the cliff, he remained conscious, but unfortunately, he lacked the strength to save himself. Under normal circumstances, with his unique internal energy circulation method, he could have taken a breath in mid-air and returned to the surface. However, now he could only helplessly wait to land, or rather, wait to die.
As the saying goes, there's always a way out. Just as he was about to reach solid ground, Hua Ruoxu noticed a pool of water nearby. A slight joy welled up within him, and his last vestige of survival unleashed his final potential. He used the last bit of strength in his body to barely shift his descent direction slightly.
A huge splash erupted as Hua Ruoxu successfully plunged himself into the pool. The pool shimmered with clear water, teeming with colorful fish swimming freely, seemingly unaffected by the arrival of this stranger. However, Hua Ruoxu was oblivious to all this, for he had already lost consciousness.
Time passed slowly, and Hua Ruoxu remained unconscious, but strangely, he remained afloat, refusing to sink.
Below the cliff, there was almost nothing, only steep, smooth walls. In the center was a small clearing, covered with weeds and virtually nothing else. If it weren't for the fish in the pool, it would be utterly lifeless. There was no sign of human habitation, no sky, and no sunlight; everything was deathly still.
Yet, in this very place, a person suddenly appeared. She was clearly a woman, but this woman was unusual. She was almost completely naked, except for her most private parts. Her exquisite, slender body was thus fully exposed beneath the heavens. Her skin was deathly white, almost translucent, and her long, silver-white hair cascaded down her chest, obscuring her most intimate parts and her face, making her features impossible to discern.
She walked naturally to the edge of the pool, letting out a soft "Eh!" as she saw Hua Ruoxu reflected in it. A sudden gleam of surprise flashed in her eyes, and with a gentle wave of her hand, Hua Ruoxu rose from the pool, landing softly before her.
"Ten years... I've finally seen him again," she murmured, tears welling in her eyes. She gently placed her hand on Hua Ruoxu's pulse, seemingly checking his condition.
After a moment, she quickly pressed a few points on Hua Ruoxu's body. Just as she was about to place the last finger, she seemed to remember something and quickly stopped. Hesitating slightly, she removed Hua Ruoxu's outer garment and quickly put it on herself. Then she walked to the pool, facing the water, tied her hair up, revealing her pretty face—an oval face with a complexion as white as her skin, almost translucent, with phoenix eyes, a delicate nose, and thin lips. Her white hair did not diminish her beauty; on the contrary, it added to her unique charm.
Finally dressed, she looked at herself with some satisfaction, then returned to Hua Ruoxu's side and gently patted him. Hua Ruoxu opened his mouth and coughed up a mouthful of blood, simultaneously opening his eyes.
Hua Ruoxu stared blankly at the beautiful yet hopeful eyes before him, then looked around before finally realizing that he was still alive, and the woman before him must be the one who had saved his life.
"Thank you for saving my life, young lady." Hua Ruoxu struggled to his feet, and just as he finished thanking her, he noticed that he was missing a garment—his outer robe was on top of his savior's. He couldn't help but feel a little amused and exasperated.
"You should focus on healing first. I'll get you something to eat," the white-haired woman said, her voice pleasant but slightly stiff.
Hua Ruoxu nodded. Although he was completely unaware of the current situation, healing was clearly the most important thing. He sat cross-legged, gripping his sword tightly, and gradually entered a meditative state.
Due to the severity of his injuries, he would have difficulty recovering immediately, but when he awoke from his meditation, he was about 30% healed and essentially back to normal.
A whiff of fishy aroma wafted over from a distance, and Hua Ruoxu's stomach immediately began to rumble, making an embarrassing noise.
"Have something to eat first," the sweet, pleasant voice called out again, and a fragrant grilled fish was placed in front of Hua Ruoxu.
"Thank you, young lady!" Hua Ruoxu said gratefully, taking it without hesitation and devouring it; he was simply too hungry.
Hua Ruoxu ate all the woman's grilled fish in one go, then suddenly noticed she hadn't eaten any, and smiled somewhat sheepishly.
"Why aren't you eating, young lady?" Hua Ruoxu asked awkwardly.
"Is it good?" The woman didn't answer Hua Ruoxu's question but instead asked softly in return.
"It's delicious, I've never eaten anything so delicious before." Hua Ruoxu was telling the truth, but he thought it was delicious mainly because he was so hungry.
"I don't even know what fish tastes like anymore," the woman said softly, "I've been eating it for ten years."
Hua Ruoxu was slightly taken aback. Ten years? So she had been here for ten years? Only then did Hua Ruoxu look around and realize the desolation of the place. It seemed that besides fish, there was nothing else to eat.
"By the way, may I ask your name, young lady?" Hua Ruoxu suddenly remembered that he hadn't asked his savior's name.
"My name is Ximen Lin. What about you?" Ximen Lin thought for a long time before saying her name. After so many years, she had almost forgotten what her name was.
"My name is Hua Ruoxu," Hua Ruoxu said with a sigh.

Volume 6, Chapter 2: Survival in Desperation (Part 2)

Ximen Lin led Hua Ruoxu to her dwelling, a cave. According to Ximen Lin, she had slowly dug it out herself. The cave had been furnished like a bedroom, with a stone bed, stone benches, and basically everything one would need. A sword hung on the stone wall, suggesting that she was also a martial arts practitioner.
The cave wasn't large, but it wasn't small either. In the days that followed, Hua Ruoxu stayed there. He initially felt uneasy, but Ximen Lin seemed oblivious to any impropriety, so Hua Ruoxu refrained from saying anything, as bringing up the proper boundaries between men and women would only make him appear ill-intentioned.
Time passed slowly, the days at the bottom of the cliff dragging on endlessly. Hua Ruoxu's injuries began to heal gradually, and he started to understand Ximen Lin better. As he had expected, Ximen Lin was also a martial artist. Ten years ago, like him, she had been knocked off the cliff, miraculously surviving but living a life worse than death. Ten years—such a long time! For ten years, she had been forced to live alone, unable to find a way out, with no one to talk to. Even now, ten years later, she barely knew how to speak. However, Ximen Lin seemed reluctant to discuss the past, only mentioning things briefly and not going into detail with Hua Ruoxu.
Her hair, once jet black, had slowly turned silver over the past ten years. Her clothes had turned to dust five years ago, so she wore Hua Ruoxu's clothes instead. Perhaps because Hua Ruoxu was the only person she had seen in all these years, she trusted him completely and was utterly unguarded. Fortunately, Hua Ruoxu was a gentleman and didn't take advantage of her.
In reality, Hua Ruoxu had no interest in her beauty; his mind was preoccupied with too many worries. He was thinking about how to get out, but Ximen Lin told him that she had been searching for ten years and still hadn't found the way.
*** *** ***
Ximen Lin's complexion gradually regained its color, and her smile broadened, because finally someone had come to keep her company. Whether he was good or bad didn't matter much to her, because whether he was good or bad, he would stay here with her for the rest of his life, because she believed he couldn't find the way either.
Although she had never given up searching, she was now in despair. Having someone to grow old with was the happiest thing for her.
Hua Ruoxu's mood worsened, and his longing for Hua Yuluan and the other women grew stronger. His face was devoid of smiles, and he began frantically practicing swordsmanship to alleviate his inner turmoil.
Hua Ruoxu seemed to see his senior sister's affectionate gaze; her every smile, every gentle scolding, every subtle detail flashed before his eyes. He gently drew his sword, a stroke imbued with his longing for Hua Yuluan, with his deepest affection—the Sword of Love, Luan's Movement! The charming
Su Dai'er seemed to be playfully teasing him again, softly calling out, "Brother Ruoxu." The Sword of Love, Dai'er's Charm!
The gentle Hua Yufeng had silently watched over him for so many years, but sadly, by the time he realized it, their time together was running out. He didn't know when they would meet again, or even if they would ever see each other again. The Sword of Love, Feng's Gentleness.
"Brother Hua, you promised to take care of Youyou for life, how could you break your promise like this?" Hua Ruoxu seemed to hear Xue Youyou's complaints again. The Sword of Love: Oh, my love, perhaps I must break my promise to you again!
"Hua Lang!" Jiang Qingyue's soft call rang out. Sister Qing, how are you doing now? I promised to marry you, but Sister Qing, I don't know when I will be able to fulfill my promise. Jiang Qingyue's gentle, tender beauty flashed in his heart; everything that had once captivated him was now far away. The Sword of Love: The Moon's Intoxication!
Hua Feimeng, sometimes willful, sometimes serene, her beautiful face enhanced by him, her charm made even more radiant. The Sword of Love: The Dream Awakens!
"Sister, you said that as long as I put my heart and soul into it, I could master unparalleled martial arts. But sister, where can I go to see you now!" Hua Ruoxu danced with abandon, the image of Hua Tianxing, that celestial beauty, appearing in his mind, her personality devoid of any fairy-like air. "Sister, this sword strike is for you!" The Sword of Love: Tianxing. You are the most dazzling star in the sky, nothing can obscure your brilliance!
Ximen Lin stared blankly at Hua Ruoxu, who was completely absorbed in practicing his swordsmanship. She was almost certain that once this sword technique appeared in the world, it would be virtually unbeatable. A sense of melancholy filled her heart. She could also tell that Hua Ruoxu's heart was no longer here; he was thinking of the woman he loved.
His intense longing was fully expressed through his swordplay, and Hua Ruoxu's mood seemed to improve slightly.
"Sister Lin!" He stopped and softly called out to Ximen Lin.
"Do you really want to leave?" Ximen Lin sighed softly, her voice filled with resentment.
"Sister Lin, don't you want to leave?" Hua Ruoxu didn't deny it, letting out a soft sigh. Over the past few days, he and Ximen Lin had developed feelings for each other.
"But I've been searching for ten years and haven't found the way. Why can't you just settle down and stay here with me for the rest of your life?" Ximen Lin cried out to Hua Ruoxu, her voice filled with grievance.
“Sister Lin, I believe we can find a way out. When the time comes, we can go out together, wouldn't that be great?” Hua Ruoxu said softly, looking up at the smooth cliff face, a sudden thought striking him.
Suddenly, Hua Ruoxu leaped into the air, his sword slashing at the cliff face, causing a large boulder to fall.
“Sister Lin, I’ve found a way out!” Hua Ruoxu exclaimed joyfully, going back up the same way he came down.
“I know you want to dig a ladder up, but look at this bottomless pit, how long will it take you?” Ximen Lin showed no sign of joy.
“As long as there’s a chance, we can’t give up.” Hua Ruoxu’s face hardened. “Besides, I have this sword to help me!”
*** *** ***
Ximen Lin finally began to believe they could get out. To the sword, these ordinary stones were like tofu, easily digable. In just a few days, Hua Ruoxu had already dug a nearly hundred-foot-long ladder. At this rate, it wouldn’t be long before they reached the end.
Compared to Hua Ruoxu's joy, Ximen Lin felt a great deal of unease. Ten years had passed; she hadn't been outside for ten years. She didn't know if she could adapt to the outside world. Moreover, she wasn't sure if Hua Ruoxu would abandon her once he was outside.
What worried her even more was whether the old grudges would continue. Should she tell Hua Ruoxu everything? In the past few months of spending time with Hua Ruoxu, she had gradually come to feel that he was someone she could trust.

Volume Six, Chapter Three: Resurgence

of Light Spring had arrived, and Hua Ruoxu finally saw the sky again, though it was somewhat overcast. After more than three months, he stood on this cliff again, his heart filled with emotion. His joy was indescribable, but his face remained relatively calm; the past few months had greatly tempered his character.
He took a deep breath, turned, and descended the cliff again. Ximen Lin was still below.
"Sister Lin!" Hua Ruoxu softly called out to Ximen Lin. The stone cave where she lived was her only home for the past ten years.
A hint of joy mingled with a touch of melancholy and loneliness in Ximen Lin's eyes. For ten years, she had longed to leave this place and see the light of day again. However, now that the day had finally arrived, she realized she had developed a deep attachment to this place, and she was reluctant to leave.
She had just been thinking that if Hua Ruoxu went up and didn't come down, she would stay here and continue her solitary life. Of course, she secretly hoped Hua Ruoxu would come down. Although she could leave alone now, she still wished Hua Ruoxu could leave with her. For over three months, although they had always treated each other with polite formalities, deep down she had come to regard Hua Ruoxu as family. He was perhaps the only person she could trust after ten years. Time had passed, and the world had changed. Her family and friends from ten years ago were probably nowhere to be found, or perhaps they had even forgotten her existence.
"Sister Lin, let's go." Hua Ruoxu sighed softly. He understood her feelings. Ten years had passed; no matter where you were, you'd develop feelings for a place after ten years.
"Sister Lin, you can come back and visit sometime in the future," Hua Ruoxu gently comforted her.
"Ruoxu, if I want to come back sometime, will you come with me?" Ximen Lin asked softly, looking at him with hopeful eyes.
Hua Ruoxu looked at her and nodded without hesitation.
Ximen Lin finally smiled, a sweet smile. She took one last deep look at her home, then resolutely turned away, never looking back.
When the two of them stood together on the cliff, Ximen Lin couldn't help but burst into tears. Ten years had passed. Today, after ten years, she could finally see the sky again, and soon, she could see the sunlight.
"Ruoxu, thank you!" Ximen Lin suddenly threw herself into Hua Ruoxu's arms, whispering softly, her silent tears soaking his chest. Hua Ruoxu gently embraced her, his heart filled with no ulterior motives, only a deep connection, a feeling of blood ties. Although he had only been down there for a hundred days, he could understand the suffering she had endured for ten years.
"Sister Lin, don't be sad. You'll have a good life from now on," Hua Ruoxu said softly. Ximen Lin gently hummed in agreement, a hint of joy in her eyes.
*** *** ***
Hua Ruoxu finally reappeared in Jinling City, but he didn't immediately go to find Hua Yuluan, because his and Ximen Lin's current appearance was rather unsightly.
Before falling off the cliff, Hua Ruoxu hadn't brought any belongings, so the two of them awkwardly discovered they were penniless. Buying clothes was out of the question, let alone finding a place to stay at an inn. In desperation, Ximen Lin took out the only thing she had kept from years ago—her sword—and pawned it for a small amount of silver. She was reluctant to part with it, after all, the sword had been with her for decades, but she knew she couldn't take Hua Ruoxu's sword, because it was far too valuable.
Ximen Lin finally changed into a yellow women's dress and carefully dressed herself. The ten years at the bottom of the cliff had not left any trace of time on her face. Although she was over thirty, she still looked less than twenty. Her white hair seemed natural, not affecting her appearance at all, but rather complementing it perfectly.
Hua Ruoxu and Ximen Lin went to the Ye family together. At first, Ximen Lin was a little reluctant, but she didn't want to stay in the inn alone, so she had no choice but to follow Hua Ruoxu.
"Brother Hua! Is that you?" A surprised voice rang out. Hua Ruoxu stopped and turned around. Three men and one woman were behind him, looking at him excitedly.
"Long time no see. How have you all been?" Hua Ruoxu smiled slightly. The four were all old acquaintances. The one who called him was Fang Xia, and the other three were Hua Feihua, Zhao Changkong, and Huang Yingying. He just didn't know how these four had come together.
“People say good people don’t live long, but bad people live a thousand years. That’s certainly true,” Hua Feihua chuckled. Zhao Changkong and Huang Yingying remained silent, but their faces were filled with delight.
“Brother Hua, and this young lady, shall we find a place to sit down and talk?” Fang Xia suggested.
“Brother Fang, I’d like to see my senior sister first,” Hua Ruoxu said after a slight hesitation.
“That’s right, don’t keep Fairy Hua worried,” Fang Xia sighed softly.
The group of six arrived at the Ye family home and went straight inside. The two people at the door were surprised to see Hua Ruoxu, but dared not say anything.
“Junior brother!” A soft voice called out gently, trembling slightly. Just as he entered the hall, before even reaching the backyard, Hua Ruoxu saw the beauty he had longed for.
Their eyes met, their lips trembled slightly, but no sound came out. So much longing, so many days of yearning, were conveyed in that gaze.
Hua Yuluan could no longer hold back; she rushed over and threw herself into Hua Ruoxu's arms. When she witnessed her lover fall into the abyss, she wanted to follow him. Later, she was overjoyed to hear he was still alive, but after more than a month, still without any news, she began to feel disappointed and lost, fearing that the joy would be followed by even greater disappointment. But today, she finally saw her beloved, whom she had longed for day and night, standing alive before her. She could no longer control the emotions in her heart.
Hua Ruoxu held her tightly, as if he wanted to crush her. They embraced tightly, ignoring the growing number of eyes around them. The news of Hua Ruoxu's return had alarmed almost everyone in the Seven Sects and Four Families Alliance; a surging crowd instantly filled the hall.

Hua Yufeng stared intently at Hua Ruoxu and her sister, then quietly turned and returned to her room. She wasn't jealous, but overjoyed. She was afraid she wouldn't be able to hold back her tears in front of others, and she was also afraid she would throw herself into his arms. Regardless, she knew she was safe and sound, and for her, that was enough.
Ximen Lin found herself somewhat envious of Hua Ruoxu, and also somewhat envious of the girl he was embracing. They could still enjoy the joy of this reunion, while she, having returned to this world, was unknown to everyone.
Suddenly, she felt a strong urge; she couldn't lose the last person in this world who still recognized her, or rather, the last person she could barely call family. Suddenly, she felt a strange feeling towards Hua Ruoxu, and her gaze softened.
"Young Master Hua and Miss Hua, your reunion after such a calamity is truly a cause for celebration!" A clear voice rang out, and Ye Bu'er appeared in the hall.
Ximen Lin's body trembled slightly upon hearing Ye Bu'er's voice. She looked up in disbelief, glanced at Ye Bu'er, and her expression changed drastically. She quickly turned her head away, pretending to be nonchalant, but her heart was churning like a turbulent sea, unable to calm down for a long time. She hadn't expected to see him as soon as she came out. Although he hadn't seen her before, she still felt a little nervous.
"Thank you for your kind words, Mr. Ye," Hua Ruoxu said with a slight smile. "I'm truly sorry for unintentionally disturbing everyone."
"Junior brother, let's go back to our room first," Hua Yuluan said softly. Hua Ruoxu nodded.
"Sister Lin, let's go," Hua Ruoxu said softly, glancing at Ximen Lin.

Hearing that Ximen Lin was Hua Ruoxu's savior, Hua Yuluan treated Ximen Lin much better at first. However, after a while, she began to feel dissatisfied. Everyone else tactfully left the room, allowing Hua Yuluan to confide in Hua Ruoxu, but Ximen Lin refused to leave.
However, this couldn't be blamed on Ximen Lin, as she had nowhere else to go. Hua Yuluan understood and left the room. A while later, she arranged a room for Ximen Lin; she didn't want her to stay with Hua Ruoxu.
Hua Yuluan slowly told Hua Ruoxu about the events that had happened after Hua Ruoxu's accident. Hua Ruoxu listened quietly, without speaking, but his expression kept changing.
Night gradually fell, and before they knew it, half a day had passed.
"Senior Sister, I'm going to see Sister Lin." Suddenly startled, Hua Ruoxu remembered that Ximen Lin hadn't been exposed to the outside world for ten years and was worried about her, so he stood up and said.
"Alright, come back quickly." Although Hua Yuluan was reluctant—after all, she had just seen him and didn't want him to leave for even a moment—her state of mind had changed considerably in recent days. For her, Hua Ruoxu being alive was already the greatest blessing from heaven, so she didn't stop him.

Ximen Lin looked at the light gauze curtains in the room, gently stroking the soft cotton quilts. This feeling was a distant memory for her. She had been alone for half a day, but suddenly found that after ten years of solitude, she could no longer bear sitting alone. She finally couldn't help but stand up, open the door, and walk outside. She was going to find Hua Ruoxu.
Just as she reached the door, she saw Hua Ruoxu walking towards her, and her heart leaped with joy. She quickly went to greet her.
"Sister Lin, are you going out?" Hua Ruoxu asked with some surprise.
"Yes, I was just about to come find you. Would you like to come for a walk with me?" Ximen Lin smiled sweetly. Hua Ruoxu nodded. She hadn't walked outside for ten years.
In Jinling City, a handsome young man in white and a beautiful young woman in yellow with silver hair walked side by side, attracting many people's attention. The hustle and bustle of the day had faded away, and Hua Ruoxu felt a peace she had never felt before.
"Young Master!" A soft, sweet voice called out, followed by a fragrant, slender body throwing itself into his arms.
"Xiao Xue," Hua Ruoxu called softly, gently embracing her and looking at her with an almost doting gaze. "Xiao Xue, aren't you with Second Senior Sister?" Hua Ruoxu already knew from Hua Yuluan that Han Xue was safe and sound, but he assumed she was with Hua Yufeng, so he planned to see her when he went to see Hua Yufeng.
"Young Master, Xiao Xue isn't with Miss," Han Xue pouted, acting coquettishly. "Young Master, Xiao Xue will follow you from now on, okay?"
"Xiao Xue, are you feeling better now?" Hua Ruoxu didn't know how to answer her for a moment, so he asked after thinking for a moment.
"Young Master, I'm all better now. I don't care, I'm going to follow you from now on." Hanxue clung tightly to Hua Ruoxu's hand, then suddenly noticed Ximen Lin beside him. Her face showed hostility, and she stared intently at Ximen Lin with her beautiful eyes, her cheeks puffed out as she asked Hua Ruoxu, "Young Master, who is she?"
"Little sister, my name is Ximen Lin, you can also call me Sister Lin." Ximen Lin felt a surge of affection upon seeing Hanxue's charming and adorable appearance.
"I'm not a little sister, my name is Hanxue, Young Master calls me Xiaoxue." Hanxue said somewhat discontentedly, then suddenly remembered something, grabbed Hua Ruoxu's hand and pulled him forward, saying, "Young Master, I'll introduce you to two people."
Hua Ruoxu followed Hanxue a few steps with some reluctance, arriving in front of Uncle Yun and Aunt Yun, whom she mentioned. He could tell that these two people doted on Hanxue.
“Young Master Hua, Xiaoxue has been talking about you every day. Now that she’s finally met you, she hopes you will treat her well.” Aunt Yun sighed softly. These past few days, she had learned quite a bit about Hua Ruoxu’s deeds. Although she felt it was a bit unfair for Hanxue to be with him, since Hanxue liked him so much, she couldn’t say anything. After all, in her opinion, Hanxue’s happiness was the most important thing.
“Don’t worry, seniors, I will take good care of Xiaoxue,” Hua Ruoxu nodded.
“Since Young Master Hua says so, then we can rest assured. Xiaoxue, remember to come visit us in the valley in the future.” Uncle Yun sighed softly, his tone tinged with reluctance. In their hearts, Hanxue was like their own daughter. However, they couldn’t stay with her forever. She had found her home, and it was time for them to go back.
Hanxue nodded frantically, tears glistening in her beautiful eyes, watching Uncle Yun and Aunt Yun gradually disappear from sight.

Volume 6, Chapter 4: The Beauty is Pregnant (Part 1)

"Young Master," Hanxue called out sweetly, opening her arms as if wanting to be held. Hua Ruoxu had no choice but to pick her up. It seemed that although she had recovered, Hanxue still wanted Hua Ruoxu to treat her as he had before.
"Young Master, I'm hungry," Hanxue said softly, lying in Hua Ruoxu's arms with her eyes closed.
"Sister Lin, you haven't eaten anything today either, have you?" Hua Ruoxu turned and asked. Ximen Lin nodded. In fact, she hadn't eaten anything since they left.
There were hardly any customers left in the restaurant. Hua Ruoxu's table looked rather strange. A handsome young man was serving a beautiful girl in his arms, while a silver-haired woman sat opposite them.
Ximen Lin stared blankly as Hua Ruoxu gently fed Hanxue, a hint of envy in her eyes.
"Young Master Hua!" A deep voice came from the restaurant entrance. Hua Ruoxu turned his head, slightly surprised. He had seen this person once before, before he was knocked off the cliff by Nangong Xuanyuan—Lu Yunchang.
"So it's Elder Lu. May I ask what brings you here?" Hua Ruoxu said calmly.
"The Palace Master has been so worried about Young Master Hua that she's lost her appetite. Now that Young Master Hua is safe and sound, doesn't Young Master Hua think she should go and see the Palace Master?" Lu Yunchang's tone was slightly displeased.
"Please tell Dai'er that I'm alright and I'll visit her in a few days," Hua Ruoxu said, the image of Dai'er's beautiful face flashing through his mind.
"I hope Young Master Hua keeps his word. I'll take my leave now," Lu Yunchang said decisively, turning and leaving.
"Young Master, why are you going to see Su Dai'er?" Hanxue asked, somewhat displeased. "She almost killed you this time."
"Xiaoxue, it's not Dai'er's fault. Don't blame her," Hua Ruoxu whispered, defending Su Dai'er. Whether or not Su Dai'er was involved was hard to say, but he knew he wouldn't blame her.
Hearing the name Su Dai'er, Ximen Lin seemed taken aback. She looked at Hua Ruoxu, seemingly wanting to say something, but ultimately remained silent, as if he had some reservations.
Ximen Lin was preoccupied; having not eaten anything flavorful in a long time, she still found the food here bland and tasteless.
*** *** ***
“Xiaoxue, where do you live?” Having finally finished serving this precious darling, Hua Ruoxu was about to send her back.
“Wherever Young Master lives, I’ll live.” Hanxue said, her pretty face slightly flushed, and her voice lowered.
“Sister Lin, it’s getting late, let’s go back first.” Hua Ruoxu hesitated for a moment before saying this. Although he knew that taking Hanxue back would be troublesome, he didn’t want to go against her wishes, and most importantly, he didn’t want anything to happen to her again.
“Xiaoxue, you stay with Second Senior Sister for now. After a few days, I’ll see if we can leave the Ye family and find another place.” Hua Ruoxu said to Hanxue in his arms as they walked. Hanxue was a little reluctant, but she still nodded in agreement. Hua Ruoxu sighed inwardly. Almost everyone in the Ye family was hostile towards him; staying there was not a long-term solution.
The past few months of living in the depths of despair had significantly changed his mindset. Those hundreds of near-despairing days had made him increasingly appreciate the preciousness of those around him, and he felt it was time to seriously plan for his future.
Arriving at Hua Yufeng's palace, Hua Ruoxu gently knocked on the door. He had actually seen Hua Yufeng during the day; she clearly knew he had returned.
The door opened softly, and Hua Yufeng's beautiful face came into view. Her face showed surprise and excitement, but seeing Hanxue in his arms, she looked somewhat puzzled.
"Second Senior Sister, how have you been these past few days?" Hua Ruoxu looked at her affectionately, no longer wanting to hide his feelings for her even in front of others.
"If you're doing well, then of course I'm doing well too," Hua Yufeng said softly, gazing at Hua Ruoxu with a somewhat dazed expression. She hadn't rested until so late, hoping he would come to see her. Now she had finally waited for him. Although he hadn't come alone, she didn't mind; the important thing was that he had come.
Hua Ruoxu gently put Hanxue down. Hanxue looked at Hua Yufeng, then at Hua Ruoxu, seemingly understanding something. She considerately took a few steps back, then ran to the door and bolted it.
Hua Ruoxu looked at the noticeably more haggard Hua Yufeng, and a wave of pity rose in his heart. He gently reached out and pulled her into his arms, embracing her soft, delicate body tightly.
Hua Yufeng buried her head deeply in his chest, quietly listening to his heartbeat. A sense of peace she had never felt before welled up from the depths of her heart. She wanted to lean on him like this, quietly leaning against him, for all eternity.
"It's getting late. You should go back first. Come find me early tomorrow. I have something to tell you," Hua Yufeng slowly raised her head and said softly.
"I'll have Xiaoxue stay here for now," Hua Ruoxu nodded and said.
Hua Yufeng softly hummed in agreement.

“Sister Lin, let me take you back to your room first!” After leaving Hua Yufeng’s place, Hua Ruoxu said to Ximen Lin. Ximen Lin hadn’t spoken until Hua Ruoxu asked, only nodding, lost in thought. Hua Ruoxu was actually a little worried about her; after all, she hadn’t lived outside for ten years, and she didn’t know if she could adapt.
“By the way, Ruoxu, that Su Dai’er you were talking about earlier, isn’t she the little princess of the Demon Palace?” Back in the room, Ximen Lin suddenly asked.
“Sister Lin, you know about the Demon Palace too?” Hua Ruoxu was slightly taken aback, but then realized that since she was also a martial artist, it was normal for her to know about the Demon Palace. But how did she know about Su Dai’er? Ten years ago, Dai’er was only eight years old.
“Is she really the little princess of the Demon Palace?” Ximen Lin asked again, somewhat anxiously, her expression uncertain.
“Sister Lin, Dai’er is the current palace master of the Demon Palace.” Although Hua Ruoxu was somewhat surprised, she still answered her question truthfully.
"What about the original palace mistress? That is, Su Dai'er's mother?" Ximen Lin asked anxiously again.
"Sister Lin, I'm not really sure either, but Dai'er said that her mother has been dead for ten years." Hua Ruoxu gradually realized that Ximen Lin seemed to be no ordinary person ten years ago.
"Dead? How could she be dead?" Ximen Lin sat weakly on the edge of the bed, her eyes somewhat vacant. Hua Ruoxu was about to say something, but Ximen Lin spoke first. "
Ruoxu, you should go back first. I'm fine here." Ximen Lin looked very weak now.
"Sister Lin, you should rest well." Hua Ruoxu stood quietly for a while, then finally turned and left, closing the door behind her.

Volume 6 Sword Movement Chapter 4 Beauty is Pregnant (Part 2)

Hua Yuluan was still waiting for her lover to return under the lamp. She deliberately dressed herself up, applying a light layer of powder and a touch of rouge on her lips. Under the lamplight, she was even more beautiful than before. A woman dresses up for the one she loves, oh no, it should be that a woman dresses up for the one she loves. Hua Yuluan only dressed up for Hua Ruoxu.
"Senior Sister." Hua Ruoxu entered softly, only to find that Hua Yuluan hadn't rested yet. He gazed affectionately at the beauty before him and embraced her slender waist.
"Senior Sister, I just took Sister Lin out for a while, and then we ran into Xiaoxue, so we were delayed a bit," Hua Ruoxu explained with some guilt.
"No need to say anything, as long as you're back
, that's all that matters," Hua Yuluan said softly, her pretty face slightly tilted up, uttering a soft murmur. "Senior Sister, you've lost weight." Hua Ruoxu gently stroked her rosy face, his voice filled with tenderness, and then slowly lowered his head, gently pressing his forehead against hers.
Hua Ruoxu gently kissed her eyelashes, her cheeks, and finally her cherry lips. Hua Yuluan let out a soft moan, her arms encircling his neck. Hua Ruoxu tightened his grip on her slender waist, lifting her up in his arms, increasingly passionately sucking the fragrance from her mouth, as he moved step by step towards the embroidered couch.
Hua Yuluan's carefully prepared attire was completely ruined by Hua Ruoxu in a moment. Hua Ruoxu, as if holding a precious treasure, gently placed her on the couch, her veil already half-undone.
"Senior Sister, I've missed you so much these past few days," Hua Ruoxu murmured, finally embracing her and falling onto the bed.
"I missed you too!" Hua Yuluan murmured dreamily, her snow-white arms wrapping around him.
The lamp suddenly went out, and in the darkness, the two deeply in love were expressing their longing.
"Junior Brother, no, it can't be like this," Hua Yuluan gently but firmly refused Hua Ruoxu's further advances.
"Senior Sister, I... I can just hold you," Hua Ruoxu whispered, gently kissing her skin.
"Junior Brother, I... I'm pregnant," Hua Yuluan said shyly, her voice barely audible.
"Senior Sister, what's wrong?" Hua Ruoxu, rather slow to understand, hadn't yet grasped the situation.
"I...I'm pregnant!" Hua Yuluan pouted like a little girl, thinking Hua Ruoxu was teasing her.
"But Senior Sister, you didn't say what you're pregnant with." Hua Ruoxu still didn't understand, looking quite aggrieved. "
You...you're going to be a father!" Hua Yuluan suddenly snapped, pinching Hua Ruoxu hard.
"Ah, really? Senior Sister, you mean you're pregnant?" Hua Ruoxu suddenly pulled Hua Yuluan into his arms, his voice filled with surprise.
"Be gentle!" Hua Yuluan scolded, realizing that this was why she hadn't let Hua Ruoxu pester her endlessly. Hua Ruoxu was only focused on his joy, unaware that he should truly thank this unborn child. If it weren't for him, Hua Yuluan might have followed him off the cliff. If he hadn't died, but Hua Yuluan had been hurt, he probably would never have forgiven himself, and he would have spent the rest of his life in agony.
*** *** ***
Early in the morning, someone knocked on the door. Although Hua Ruoxu was reluctant to get up, holding the soft body in his arms, he had no choice. He could ignore it, but Hua Yuluan couldn't, so he had to get up early. Opening the door, Hua Ruoxu felt a mix of amusement and exasperation, because Hanxue was there, looking displeased, seemingly blaming him for being late.
"Young Master, why are you so slow?" the little girl complained.
"Xiaoxue, so early, why are you here?" Hua Ruoxu said, secretly glancing at Hua Yuluan, but finding her expression unchanged.
"Miss, Miss said she has something important to discuss with Young Master, so I came to invite him over," Hanxue said with a bright smile as she ran to Hua Yuluan's side.
"I think you just want to see your good Young Master, don't you?" Hua Yuluan said somewhat irritably, giving Hua Ruoxu a charming sidelong glance. Hua Yuluan had long known of Hanxue's infatuation with Hua Ruoxu, but she felt no jealousy towards Hanxue, probably because Hanxue was just a maid and posed no threat to her.
"Hehe, Miss, you're really amazing, you guessed it right away. But Miss really does have something to discuss with Young Master." Hanxue wasn't afraid of Hua Yuluan at all, and even admitted it without batting an eye. Even Hua Yuluan couldn't handle a maid like that.
"Senior Sister, Second Senior Sister told me yesterday that she had something to tell me today." Hua Ruoxu had no choice but to speak, then remembered something and walked to Hua Yuluan's side, asking with concern, "Senior Sister, should we find someone to serve you? You must take care of yourself now."
"It's alright, you go to your sister's place!" Hua Yuluan glared at Hua Ruoxu, her pretty face slightly flushed. She naturally knew that Hua Ruoxu was worried because she was pregnant.
*** *** ***
“Junior brother, I’m taking you somewhere today.” Hanxue pulled Hua Ruoxu in. Hua Yufeng was already dressed neatly, ready to leave as soon as he arrived.
The three of them, Hua Ruoxu, Hua Yufeng, and Hanxue, left the Ye family. Along the way, Hua Yufeng wandered around in circles, making Hua Ruoxu dizzy. In the end, they realized they were still in the middle of the city.
“Second senior sister, where are we going? Even if we’re just strolling around, we don’t need to wander like this, do we?” Hua Ruoxu finally couldn’t help but ask.
“Alright, we’ve shaken off the people following us.” Hua Yufeng said softly, taking Hua Ruoxu’s hand with her delicate hand. Suddenly, she darted into a secluded alley.
“We’re here.” Hua Yufeng stopped in front of a vermilion gate.
Hua Yufeng stood quietly for a while. He couldn’t hear her speak, but Hua Ruoxu could see her lips moving slightly. She was probably communicating with someone telepathically, which surprised him.
"Let's go, we can go back now." After about the time it takes to drink a cup of tea, Hua Yufeng finally spoke to Hua Ruoxu.
"Second Senior Sister, this..." Hua Ruoxu was puzzled.
"I'll tell you when we get back!" Hua Yufeng pulled Hua Ruoxu away without further ado, leaving both Hua Ruoxu and Hanxue looking completely bewildered.

Volume 6 Sword Movement Chapter 5 The Secret of Yufeng (Part 1)

"Second Senior Sister, can you tell me what happened?" Back in Hua Yufeng's room, Hua Ruoxu couldn't help but ask. Hua Yufeng
stood quietly by the window, remaining silent for a long time.
"Do you want to become the number one martial artist in the world?" Hua Yufeng suddenly asked.
Hua Ruoxu was silent for a moment. If it were before, he would have said no without hesitation. However, now he found that he could no longer answer so resolutely. Although he was still not interested in high positions in the martial arts world, he found that he now needed a high-ranking identity. He needed at least an identity that could be on par with the Divine Palace and the Demon Palace. Otherwise, with his own strength, he would not be able to bring the three women, who were envoys of the Divine Palace, back to his side, and it would be difficult for him to be with Su Dai'er.
"I know your personality. You prefer a simple life, but there's a saying you should know: 'In the martial world, one's fate is not one's own.' From the day you stepped into the martial world, endless troubles have followed you. Perhaps your martial arts are already very high, but as the saying goes, even a hero can't defeat a large number of people. You alone cannot fight against the entire martial world." Hua Yufeng's voice was gentle, but also somewhat helpless. "Perhaps you think you can stay out of the martial world's conflicts, but Su Dai'er alone can drag you into the entire martial world. Can you stand aside? Unless you can ignore Su Dai'er, but ask yourself honestly, can you abandon her?"
"In the martial world, one's fate is not one's own!" Hua Ruoxu sighed softly in his heart. In fact, he understood that what Hua Yufeng said was true. He had considered this issue before. More than half a year of experience in the martial world had made him realize that one's ability is ultimately limited. More than three months ago, he watched helplessly as Dai'er almost fell into the hands of the Divine Palace. He really didn't want a similar situation to happen again in the future.
"Second Senior Sister, I only hope that I have enough power to protect you all—Xiaoxue, you, Senior Sister, and Dai'er. I don't want anything to happen to you." Hua Ruoxu sighed softly. He was also somewhat confused; he didn't know how much power he alone possessed.
"Think it over carefully," Hua Yufeng sighed softly. "If you wish to stand at the pinnacle of the martial world, martial arts alone are not enough. But as long as you want it, I will do my best to help you. Come find me again when you've made up your mind." "
Second Senior Sister, you still haven't told me what happened today," Hua Ruoxu thought she had forgotten, so he came to remind her.
"Come find me again when you've made up your mind. I'll consider whether or not I should tell you then," Hua Yufeng said calmly. Hua Ruoxu had no choice but to leave, and Hanxue naturally followed him out.
*** *** ***
"Xiaoxue, what do you want to do most?" Hua Ruoxu didn't return to Hua Yuluan's room, but instead strolled gently with Hanxue in the back garden, where the flowers were in full bloom. Hanxue leaned against Hua Ruoxu like a little bird, her face beaming with happiness.
"Xiaoxue just wants to be with Young Master," Hanxue said sweetly.
"Xiaoxue, won't you do anything else?" Hua Ruoxu smiled wryly and continued to ask.
"Young Master, whatever Xiaoxue does, it's all so she can be with you," Hanxue pouted, saying somewhat unhappily.
Hua Ruoxu's heart stirred secretly. He suddenly understood. Yes, Xiaoxue was right. No matter what he did, as long as it was for a goal, and that goal was something he wanted to achieve, then even if he wasn't happy or joyful while doing it, just thinking about that goal would still make him happy doing those things that weren't originally enjoyable.
Was this what they called "seeking the goal at all costs"? Hua Ruoxu sighed softly. He knew he could never reach that level of ruthlessness.
"Young Master Hua, are you here to admire the flowers or the beauties today?" A cheerful voice rang out. Without turning around, he knew it was Hua Feihua.
"Admire your head!" Hanxue glared at Hua Feihua angrily. Hua Feihua had teased her before, and the little brat was still sulking.
"Little Xue, you've finally been promoted to a junior, huh?" Hua Feihua chuckled.
"You, you, you can go to hell!" Hanxue's face turned green. If Hua Ruoxu hadn't held her back, she probably would have gone and fought Hua Feihua.
"Brother Hua, why are you alone today?" Hua Ruoxu knew that Hanxue was no match for Hua Feihua in a verbal battle, so he quickly changed the subject.
"Who told me to be so unlucky? Unlike you, Young Master Hua, you always have beauties by your side." Hua Feihua said with a self-pitying air, then changed the subject and began to tease Hanxue, "Hey, Xiaoxue, if your young master treats you badly, just come to me, Hua Feihua, and I promise to marry you properly!"
"Brother Hua, don't joke with Xiaoxue." Hua Ruoxu felt a little amused and exasperated; Hua Feihua seemed to particularly enjoy teasing Hanxue.
"I'm not joking. I'm saying, future brother-in-law, I heard you died not long ago, and my sister wore mourning clothes for you. Now that you're alive, shouldn't you show some respect? At least give my sister a proper title." Hua Feihua said calmly, and Hua Ruoxu was speechless for a moment, but his heart was filled with ripples.
"What title? You'll still be a concubine like me, hmph!" Hanxue glared at Hua Feihua.
"Hahaha..." Hua Feihua couldn't help but burst into laughter, while Hua Ruoxu barely managed to hold back his laughter, his face turning red. Hanxue really spoke her mind without holding anything back.
"Don't laugh! Don't laugh!" Hanxue shouted at the two of them, her pretty face flushed.
"I'm so envious of you now, you're so lucky!" Hua Feihua patted Hua Ruoxu's shoulder, quickly turned and ran away, his wild laughter still audible.
"Xiaoxue, let's go back." Hua Ruoxu shook his head, a slight smile appearing on his lips. With Hanxue by his side, it was indeed much more relaxed.
"Have you thought it through?" Hua Yufeng was somewhat surprised to see Hua Ruoxu return so quickly.
"Miss, Young Master is helping others bully me." Hanxue began to complain to Hua Yufeng.
"Why are you two still acting like children?" Hua Yufeng felt helpless looking at the two of them. Hanxue was like a little girl who never grew up, and Hua Ruoxu, in her opinion, didn't seem very mature either.
"Xiaoxue, go to your senior sister's place first. My second senior sister and I have something to talk about." Hua Ruoxu thought for a moment and then sent Hanxue away. Hanxue pouted, unwilling to leave, and looked at Hua Yufeng with a pitiful expression.

Volume 6 Sword Movement Chapter 5 The Secret of Yufeng (Part 2)

"Just say what you want to say. It's alright for Xiaoxue to be here." Hua Yufeng said softly, her face slightly flushed.
"Second senior sister, I want to know why you took me there today." Hua Ruoxu vaguely sensed that there was some secret there and didn't want Hanxue to know too much. Of course, it wasn't because he didn't trust Hanxue, but because he felt that it was better for a pure girl like Hanxue not to know so many things.
"So you've already decided?" Hua Yufeng's eyes lit up slightly, and she stared intently at Hua Ruoxu.
"Some things cannot be avoided. Since we can't avoid them, we might as well face them sooner." Hua Ruoxu nodded and said.
"You should have heard of the Martial Arts Academy, right?" Hua Yufeng's expression slowly became serious, and she said in a low voice.
Hua Ruoxu nodded. The Martial Arts Academy claimed to be an ordinary academy, never involved in martial arts conflicts. Strangely, however, the Heavenly Ranking, Earthly Ranking, Human Ranking, Dragon Ranking, and Phoenix Ranking were all published by the Martial Arts Academy, and almost everyone in the martial arts world believed in their reliability.
However, no one ever knew the exact location of the Martial Arts Academy; they only knew that the rankings were published simultaneously in various locations each time.
"Although the Martial Arts Academy claims not to be involved in martial arts conflicts, in reality, no one knows the dynamics of the martial arts world better than them," Hua Yufeng continued. "In fact, the Martial Arts Academy is a very large organization, with its members spread throughout the martial arts world. Almost every move in the martial arts world is under the Martial Arts Academy's surveillance." "
Second Senior Sister, are you saying that you are actually a member of the Martial Arts Academy?" Hua Ruoxu seemed to understand somewhat.
"Since the Martial Arts Academy is a martial arts organization, it naturally has a general leader, like other organizations, namely the academy's head," Hua Yufeng continued.
"Second Senior Sister, are you the headmaster?" Hua Ruoxu's eyes showed a hint of surprise.
"No, it's my master, and I'll be the next headmaster." Hua Yufeng slowly walked to Hua Ruoxu's side. "The Martial Arts Academy is actually a vast intelligence network. Although you have to decide what you do, I can use the entire academy's resources to help you. I'm taking you there today to tell my master, and she's already agreed."
"So, the place we're going to today is the Martial Arts Academy?" Hua Ruoxu felt a little uncomfortable. She had never imagined that Hua Yufeng had another identity like this.
"You could say that, and you could say that." Hua Yufeng shook her head and said, "Actually, the Martial Arts Academy doesn't have a fixed location. Where the headmaster is located can be considered the location of the Martial Arts Academy. All the disciples of the Martial Arts Academy do their own things, and most of them have their own homes."
"It's really complicated." Hua Ruoxu murmured, wondering how all these people were organized together.
“You’ve never been to the Martial Arts Academy before, so of course it will seem complicated. But don’t worry about that. If you want to know anything, just ask me.” Hua Yufeng seemed eager for her husband to succeed.
“Second Senior Sister, shouldn’t we leave this place? I don’t feel comfortable staying at the Ye family.” Hua Ruoxu thought for a moment and said.
“I’ll stay here for a while longer. After all, I’m still nominally their leader, and there are some benefits to staying here.” Hua Yufeng pondered for a moment and said, “However, you can take my sister and Xiaoxue with you and leave first. As for where to go, I’ll arrange it for you as soon as possible.”
Hua Ruoxu nodded, but he was still a little uneasy, wondering if his decision was right or wrong.
“Second Senior Sister, I’m going out for a bit.” A beautiful image naturally appeared in his mind, and he found himself eager to see her.
“I want to go too!” Hanxue became clingy.
"Xiaoxue, you stay here for now, I'll be right back." This time, Hua Ruoxu disagreed. Deep down, he didn't want to go to Hua Tianxing's place with anyone else.
"Xiaoxue, you stay here for now, I have something to say to you." Hua Yufeng seemed to be trying to smooth things over for Hua Ruoxu, or perhaps she genuinely had something to say to Hanxue.
Hanxue reluctantly stayed, looking unhappy.

Hua Ruoxu stood in the room, somewhat dejected. Everything was the same as before, yet completely different, because the most important person was no longer there. He didn't see Hua Tianxing.
"Where did my sister go?" Hua Ruoxu wondered to himself. He glanced at the room one last time, then slowly turned around, only to be met with a surge of joy.
Hua Tianxing stood silently in the doorway, smiling at him.
"Sister, I thought you left!" Hua Ruoxu stepped forward and pulled her into his arms.
"You lecherous little brother, you're taking advantage of your sister again!" Hua Tianxing giggled.
Hua Ruoxu felt a little embarrassed and was about to let go of her when he found that Hua Tianxing had wrapped her arms around his neck instead, and he couldn't let go.
Hua Tianxing gently rested her head on Hua Ruoxu's shoulder, her face, which was turned away from him, showed a pained expression.
"Sister, did you just go out?" Hua Ruoxu asked in a low voice. He had originally wanted to confide in Hua Tianxing, but now he had completely forgotten about it.
"I was in the yard. Why did you have to run here?" Hua Tianxing said softly. Hua Ruoxu thought about it and realized that he had indeed run straight here without paying attention to whether there was anyone in the yard.
"Sister, what's wrong?" Suddenly, Hua Ruoxu sensed something was wrong. Hua Tianxing's body seemed to be trembling slightly.
"It's nothing, I'm fine." Hua Tianxing's voice sounded noticeably weak.
Hua Ruoxu turned her face slightly and finally noticed the slight pain on her face, a few beads of sweat on her forehead, and her brows tightly furrowed.
"Sister, what's wrong? Tell me quickly!" Hua Ruoxu asked anxiously, a strong sense of unease welling up inside her. She had never seen Hua Tianxing like this before.
"Brother, I, I'm fine. Can you carry your sister to bed? I, I'm a little sleepy," Hua Tianxing's voice was weak and trembling.
