Christian's Chronicle (Complete) - 14

    page views:1  Publication date:2023-03-24
Chapter Six, Operation Star One, Section One:

Gazing at the star-studded universe, experiencing weightlessness once more, Christian felt like a wanderer returning home.

"Finally back!" This short sentence carried a mix of bittersweet emotions.

Looking back at the blue Earth from space, Christian's heart was filled with sorrow. It was where many of his comrades lay buried, and where Alim, whom he had abandoned, was located.

The Federation forces hadn't let them go so easily. Christian and his fellow survivors from Odessa were pursued and annihilated by a space fleet, and the Imperial Guard also urgently dispatched troops to rescue them.

Back in space, they were met not with peace, but with another massacre.

After a fierce battle, Christian's shuttle was finally rescued by an allied supply ship.

After his near-death experience, Christian received notification that he had been promoted to lieutenant and dispatched back to his former ship, the Babenhausen, to command a squadron.

Upon hearing this strange order, Christian was somewhat amused and exasperated, saying, "We lost a battle and returned to space, without achieving any merit, yet I still get promoted. Isn't that a bit odd?"

Tilly said, "Isn't a promotion to lieutenant good? It increases the salary too."

Finney said, "Not only the squad leader, but both of us got promoted. By the way, now you're a squadron leader, Lieutenant Christian!"

Christian and the other two then headed to the Granadag base on the far side of the moon.

During the journey, he observed along the way and understood why he had been promoted.

In fact, during the Self-Defense Forces' Earth landing operations, 80-90% of the mobile suits were deployed. The fighting lasted from February to November, during which time the newly manufactured mobile suits were only enough to sustain the high attrition rate on Earth. Of the experienced pilots, 70-80% were either killed, wounded, captured, or remained on Earth.

Faced with the Federation's impending space counter-offensive, although the space fleet still possessed combat capabilities, the mobile suit units, intended as the decisive fighting force, became units in name only, lacking real power.

Therefore, the Self-Defense Forces almost completely ceased replenishing mobile suits for troops on Earth, assigning all newly manufactured mobile suits to the space fleet. Centered on a small unit of mobile combatants remaining in space, and supplemented with pilots returning from Earth, they prepared for the upcoming decisive battle after receiving a large influx of new recruits.

Christian, who had been promoted to squadron leader, nearly fainted upon seeing the information on the pilots about to be assigned to his unit. Tilly and Finney were already considered unacceptable novices, but these six were practically complete novices.

The six had only received a month of temporary training, with only fifty hours of actual flight time, and had barely mastered takeoff and landing techniques.

"Sending me cannon fodder? Are we just letting the Federation use me as live targets?"

It's no wonder Christian was promoted to lieutenant and squadron leader; the fact that the Imperial Guard had been reduced to using such cannon fodder as pilots for mobile combatants is astounding.

Regardless, Christian successfully arrived at the Granada base on the moon and began serving on the USS Babenhausen. A group of old comrades, led by Captain Kirsten Cap, along with Ms. Yoko and many others, held a welcome party for him.

"Welcome back, Christian!" Ms. Yoko, whom he hadn't seen for almost a year, threw herself into Christian's arms. She looked unchanged, still as beautiful as ever.

Christian placed his hand on her waist and gently kissed her cheek.

"This kid has become so bold!"

"Why does Miss Yoko like him?"

A group of men, mainly Yoko's maintenance soldiers, began to complain and express their dissatisfaction.

Faced with the enthusiastic greeting, Christian said with deep emotion, "It's a pity I'm the only one who came back alive; everyone else died on Earth."

"Yes! Where's Lysina?"

Yoko said. "We released her in a neutral zone later… she was always a troublesome person."

She then whispered in Christian's ear, "I recently contacted Lysina; she's gone back to the Federation. Now she's our enemy again."

"Life is truly unpredictable. I think I'll see her again when I come back."

"Did you miss me on Earth? You rarely wrote to me! Let alone called. Don't tell me you've forgotten about me now that you have a new girlfriend."

"I'm sorry!"

Yoko was a little jealous, but she and Christian were ten years apart in age, and she was also divorced, so she had never thought about marrying Christian. But she was still bothered by the possibility that he might have a new love.

"A lot happened on Earth."

"Then can you tell me the details in the room tonight?"

"Okay." Yoko's invitation was clear, and Christian didn't intend to refuse. For the sake of Alim, who was left on Earth, there had to be an end to his relationship with Yoko.

That night, Yoko, wearing only a pink bra and a semi-transparent purple silk robe, welcomed Christian into her room. As soon as he entered, she took the initiative to embrace him.

Christian responded to Yoko's enthusiasm, and the two made love in bed.

Afterwards, the two lay side-by-side in bed, embracing. Yoko's body was still as radiant as ever, her full, firm breasts far surpassing Alim's.

They felt wonderful in his hands! Christian could still smell the lingering fragrance emanating from Yoko.

"It's been so long, your skills have improved."

"Yoko! I got married on Earth."

Yoko looked utterly astonished. She gave a wry smile and pinched Christian's cheek hard, saying, "Then congratulations on your happy marriage."

She then got off the bed, not even wearing underwear, just a robe, and went to the refrigerator to take out a bottle of red wine, pouring herself a glass.

"I don't mind dating married men, but why did you choose this time to tell me? I thought you had matured. But... do you know how rude you are to me?" With a slightly angry expression, Yoko downed half a glass of wine in one gulp.

"Let me tell you! You came here tonight to break up with me, but you want to do it one more time before you do. Hey! Christian isn't that innocent and cute young man anymore. What you've done is like that of a middle-aged man who plays with women. If it weren't for your handsome face, strong physique, and those slightly sad and apologetic eyes, I would have kicked you out of the room long ago."

"Let me tell you! I, Sanada Yoko, have never lacked men. Don't think I can't live without you."

Facing the angry and jealous Yoko, Christian adopted a pleading posture and said, "Then are we still friends?"

"That's a really cunning way of putting it. Would you just sleep with your friend like that?"

"Jakobson is dead, Hans is dead, even Captain Schneider is dead! I have no friends left to comfort me except you." Christian didn't cry, only because he had already shed too many tears.

"War on Earth is crueler than in space. Sometimes there are days and nights without food, drink, or sleep, and wounded comrades go untreated. Unlike in space, where all the nightmares end as soon as you return to the battleship."

Seeing Christian curled up weakly on the bed, Yoko had already forgiven him for everything. She slowly walked back to the bedside, embraced Christian, and let him rest his head on her breasts.

"Of the nine men in my squadron, only I survived! Only me! And I left Alim, who was pregnant, on Earth. How was she going to live alone?"

Under Yoko's tender embrace, Christian told her everything that had happened on Earth—the countless battles that teetered on the brink of death, the countless comrades who fell in pools of blood.

He also expressed his concern and worries about Alim, and how her original identity as a member of the Federation Army might lead to her being treated as a deserter.

Yoko felt deep sympathy for Christian and didn't care that he selfishly used his body for comfort. A young man had endured so much death and carried so many responsibilities. It was a good thing that she could offer him comfort.

"Don't feel sorry for Alim. Come to me if you need anything. Let me, your older sister Yoko, share your burdens. Don't worry! I won't try to bind you, nor will I compete with Alim for titles or anything like that."

Christian suckled at Yoko's breast like a baby, the warm, soft flesh in his arms finally relaxing his body and mind.

"I love you!"

Perhaps out of maternal instinct, Yoko didn't mind unconditionally offering her body to Christian.

Christian pulled open his purple robe and kissed Yoko's lower abdomen. He didn't consider himself a betrayal of Alim, as long as his love for her was genuine.

Seeking solace in another woman on the battlefield was inevitable; war was like a living hell, and even if the body wasn't physically injured, the mind was subjected to endless torment.

Parting the fragrant grass of the flower field, Christian lovingly licked back and forth on the flower's lips with his tongue, even teasing the small red clitoris with the tip of his tongue.

Yoko's delicate body went weak in the knees, feeling waves of tingling pleasure coursing through her body. A series of nectars seeped from the peach blossom garden, covering her jade-like legs.

Christian eagerly licked and swallowed these drops of love juice.

Yoko, her face flushed and blushing like a peach blossom, took the initiative to remove her nightgown, pushed Christian down onto the bed, and straddled his head with her beautiful legs, letting him perform oral sex on her.

"Ahhhhhh..." Yoko murmured sweetly. Christian's skillful tongue explored the sensitive spots of her vagina, visiting every inch of her sensitive area.

Yoko cried out, "I'm going to come... ahhhhhh..."

At her climax, Yoko sprayed Christian's head with her own nectar.

"Where has it gotten harder and bigger? It's grown quite a bit since before." Yoko moved down, grasping Christian's erect penis, and entered her in a cowgirl position.

"Ah...it's so hot..."

Although the woman-on-top position was used, it wasn't Yoko on top who was taking the initiative, but Christian on the bottom.

The gravity on the moon is only one-sixth of that on Earth, so even using only waist strength, Yoko could be lifted up.

With her hands on Christian's shoulders for support, Yoko could feel the upward impact, each thrust reaching the very end of her flower.

Yoko's black hair flew through the air like a waterfall, her excited and passionate body glistening with golden sweat, and her flower flowing with sweet, warm nectar like a gentle stream.

"Ahhhhh..." The surge of sensual stimulation overwhelmed all her reason and consciousness; she felt as if she were flying through the air, her mind completely blank. The flower-like opening contracted rapidly, tightening around the intruding object until it squeezed out warm, hot milk.

"Hoo...hoo...ah..."

Still reveling in the lingering pleasure, Yoko said languidly and charmingly, "Can I arrange for you to meet Lisina?"

Christian thought carefully for a moment; he still wanted to see Lisina. He said, "Please."

Over the next ten days, Christian intensified the training of the six new recruits. At the same time, he noticed that the number of mobile combatants in the base was increasing rapidly, but the older Zaku models still made up the vast majority, with the newer Dom models only making up a minority. His squadron was also assigned three Dom models. Christian kept these three Dom models for himself, Tilly, and Finney.

Giving high-performance mechs to new recruits is undoubtedly a waste of combat power. It's better to let veterans pilot them to maximize their combat effectiveness, and then have the veterans cover the new recruits as they grow.

If the Federation forces capture the families of the escort forces, they will regularly publish the list according to the Antarctic Treaty. But Alim's identity is special; she was originally a member of the Federation forces. So after the fall of Odessa, Christian could only hope that Alim would contact him, or ask neutral organizations, such as some search and rescue groups under the Red Cross, to look for Alim.

But by the end of November, Christian still hadn't received any news from Alim. This inevitably caused doubt and unease.

Inside the warship's hangar, Christian sat in his large magic tank listening to the news broadcast. He mainly watched the news media from the neutral lunar city. There wasn't as much wartime propaganda or fabricated news. The Federation forces, victorious in Odessa, had deployed over two million troops to the front lines across the globe, preparing for their next major offensive. The strategic balance on Earth had now completely shifted in the Federation's favor.

Hearing such unfavorable war reports was truly depressing. Just then, Yoko floated in, leaping from the ground into the cockpit in a few bounds, and sat beside him, oblivious to the stares of others.

Yoko whispered, "We'll meet at the water park this weekend." The water park was the largest theme park in Granada.

"I understand."

The Federation's main base in space was the space fortress—Luna II. Secondly, there's the base on the lunar surface. Christian learned from Yoko that Lisna was stationed there, but arranging a suitable time to meet wouldn't be easy.

Furthermore, since the lunar city is neutral, unarmed soldiers from both sides can freely enter and exit, inevitably leading to exchanges and conflicts. To avoid attracting the attention of intelligence agencies and causing unnecessary trouble, caution was paramount.

After Yoko left, Christian thought anxiously. Lisna had returned to the Federation Army, and now the two were enemies once again. Everyone was on the moon, and although there was a chance to meet, when they clashed in the future, their opponents would likely be each other's forces. Fate truly loves to play tricks!

On the day they were supposed to meet, Tilly and Finney stopped Christian as he was about to leave.

Tilly's brow furrowed with resentment as she said, "Squadron Leader! You've gone too far."

Finney chimed in, "You're right."

Finney clenched her fists and placed them against her chest, her cheeks flushed with anger, "Alim's fate on Earth is unknown, and you're here hooking up with this old woman. We really misjudged you."

Tilly continued, "If it were just a passing fancy, we could pretend we didn't see it. But now you've even made plans to go on vacation with her. Alim is so pitiful! She's due to give birth in half a month, and you…"

Christian felt somewhat ashamed after being reprimanded by the two sisters.

His love for Alim hadn't diminished in the slightest; his relationship with Yoko was now more than just friends. Or to put it bluntly, a female confidante with whom I have a sexual relationship.

He desperately needed Yoko to stay by his side to share his worries and troubles, someone he could confide in. It was Yoko, not Christian, who craved a deeper physical intimacy.

Christian was unsure how to explain this complex relationship. He could only argue, "This is my own private matter."

Tilly and Finney retorted angrily, "Who was it on Earth who asked us to take care of Alim for their own private matters?"

At this moment, Yoko deliberately held Christian's hand intimately and said, "Are you two really standing up against us for the sake of your friends?"

"Actually, it's because you see Christian, whom you like, falling in love with this 'old woman,' but not with you. Your own jealousy is acting up!"

"N-no way! We're not like you, with your sagging breasts and no shame, stealing someone else's husband." Tilly and Finney, whether out of embarrassment or anger, blushed and retorted angrily.

Yoko, equally angry, retorted with her eyebrows raised, "Who are you calling an old woman? Who has sagging breasts? You two are like undeveloped washboards!" (As Anna's wife, I must say here that whether it's sagging breasts or a washboard chest, anyone who steals another woman's husband is not a good person.)

The three women's argument was giving Christian a real headache. In the end, seeing that it was almost time, he forcibly dragged Yoko away.

Chapter Two: "Those two infuriating blonde brats." In the taxi, Yoko was still seething with anger.

"She dares to love but doesn't dare to act, yet she's jealous of me. Christian, tell me, what's wrong with me?"

"Don't be angry with those two little girls, okay? They're only doing it for Alim."

Yoko also felt she was being a bit petty, but how could a 27-year-old divorced woman not be angry at the sarcastic remarks of lively young girls? Especially thinking about how much of her youthful beauty she had left, Yoko couldn't help but feel sorry for herself. She

unconsciously leaned her head against Christian's chest and said, "If only we were husband and wife."

Christian felt a pang in his heart. This wasn't the ancient times of polygamy; he had to choose between Yoko and Alim, and once he made his choice, he had to accept reality.

"Youth is wonderful! Those two little girls still have time for this kind of sweet, shy crush. It's rare that you, a fool, haven't even expressed your feelings to them."

"Do you think they're really in love with me?"

"Of course! I haven't lived twenty-seven years in vain, do you think I can't see that? Think about it, you're close in age, you've always been their superior, taking care of and protecting them, plus the atmosphere of sharing life and death on the battlefield. It would be surprising if there wasn't love."

Actually, Christian wasn't completely oblivious; he was just subconsciously resisting, especially when neither side was willing to take the first step.

Christian already had Alim, and Tilly and Finney were his subordinates. He couldn't possibly love the older sister and not the younger, or the younger sister and not the older. Christian wasn't so arrogant as to have both sisters as his mistresses at the same time. Furthermore, the three people are in a superior-subordinate relationship. If they express their feelings but can't develop the relationship, how awkward would that be? This is different from Yoko; she's an adult and doesn't have to take responsibility.

When they arrived at the water park, Yoko changed into a full black swimsuit. The contrast between black and white made her skin appear even more fair and radiant.

Most of the visitors to the water park were lunar citizens, and everywhere you looked were carefree and joyful faces.

In contrast, back in their homeland, everyone wore a serious expression. The war had made life even more difficult, oppressing everyone and making it hard to breathe. And on Earth, ordinary people all had blank and numb expressions. The destruction of their homes, the murder of their loved ones, and the destitution of their lives had numbed them. Too much pain forced them to become numb; otherwise, they would likely be weeping every day.

"A world without war is truly wonderful," Christian sighed sincerely.

He couldn't help but reflect on those who, before the war, faced the federal economic blockade and oppression, had shouted for this war. Before achieving liberation through war, they would have been tortured beyond recognition, even if not dead. Was it worth it?

"Christian's here." By the pool, a stunningly beautiful blonde with blue eyes, wearing a very tight-fitting red two-piece swimsuit, waved to her. Sitting at the table with her was a somewhat glib-looking man.

This strikingly beautiful woman was none other than Lisna, the one Christian had saved. Before Christian could even reach her, she rushed forward, embraced him, and pressed his head against her breasts.

"Lisna, don't go too far!" Yoko pushed her away and stood in front of Christian.

"What's wrong with a little intimacy? Do you think she's all yours?"

"He'll tell you that later," Yoko said somewhat helplessly.

After the four of them sat down casually, Lisna eagerly inquired about Christian's recent situation. Christian couldn't answer for a moment.

At this moment, the self-proclaimed charming man said, "Lisna, don't forget, they are our enemy, the Self-Defense Force, and the murderers who killed your family and friends."

Lisna glared at him angrily and said, "They are different. They are my friends."

"What difference? It's just the difference between a murderer and an accomplice. I still remember the first day of the war, when the woman I loved was poisoned to death by the Self-Defense Force's gas."

The atmosphere instantly became tense and filled with hostility.

"Mr. Mireille, haven't you always wanted to seduce a female soldier of the Self-Defense Force? Can you come swimming with me?"

In the end, Yoko decided to use her beauty to distract this troublesome person.

Watching the man's back, Christian felt the presence of strong hostility. But wasn't Lisna, who sat at the same table as him, also an enemy?

"Who is that man, Lisna?"

Lisna replied, "He's our Federation's crash king, one of my suitors, and my superior."

"Always clinging to me, impossible to shake off," Lisna complained, but her tone and emotions betrayed no real dislike. Lisna was originally a strikingly beautiful woman with blonde hair and blue eyes. She had told herself before that she had always had many suitors.

On the Barbenhausen, she was always completely naked except for toilet paper. No man on board was unmoved by her, except for Christian; because of the distinction between friend and foe, no one dared to make a move.

"How have you been lately?" Christian asked.

"It's hard to say whether it's been good or bad. Without fighting, life's been pretty good. It's just that I feel a bit lonely. Even though I'm surrounded by a swarm of admirers, I don't have a single close friend. Forget family, even my old friends are all dead." Lisna's profile was filled with an overwhelming sorrow.

"I think... I can understand how you feel. Nine of our squadron went to Earth, and I'm the only one who came back alive." Martina disappeared in the battle, and Alim was nowhere to be found.

Suddenly, with a hint of madness, Lisina laughed, "Jacobson and Hans deserved to die. They got what they deserved!"

"How can you say that? They were my comrades who had risked their lives for me!" Christian shouted excitedly, slamming his fist on the table.

"They were also among the murderers of my family and friends. And unlike you, they never acknowledged the Holocaust, nor did they show any remorse. If our positions were reversed today, wouldn't you hate them?" Faced with Lisna's question, Christian was speechless.

In his heart, Christian thought of the female federal officer who killed Hans. To say he felt no hatred for her would be a lie, but…

Christian said tactfully, “Hatred! It’s such a useless emotion. On the battlefield, it only affects your judgment, making you lose your composure and increasing your risk of death. And even if they die, will your hatred for them disappear? It’s meaningless except for making yourself more miserable.”

Lisna replied painfully, “That’s a good criticism! But there’s a problem: even if you don’t want to hold a grudge, you can’t control yourself. Humans are just emotional creatures.”

A sad silence continued between them until the waiter brought the drinks. Lisna ordered Tropical Paradise, a drink that mixes alcohol, juice, and fruit, while Christian only ordered a glass of orange juice.

The gloomy atmosphere dissipated, and Liz said with a smile, "You're not a child anymore, why are you ordering orange juice? Things without alcohol aren't for adults. I'll order you another one."

"No need, orange juice is enough." He used to be eager to grow up, but now he wished he could stay young forever. Actually, Christian didn't intentionally order orange juice; perhaps it was just subconscious evidence of his reluctance to grow up.

Christian thought to himself, although he was seventeen, practically a child soldier and not even an adult yet, he not only had a wife and lover, but had also killed many people on the battlefield. He was no longer an ordinary boy. What innocent boy in the world would try to swim to safety in a river littered with corpses, or drink water stained with human blood?

Afterwards, the two played on the amusement park's rides together. At Christian's age, having such a mature and beautiful companion attracted countless envious glances from men.

Lisina, flushed with the effects of the alcohol, had a delicate, cherry-blossom-like blush on her skin, her body glistening with fragrant, alluring droplets. Her seductive, voluptuous figure almost burst through her red swimsuit.

After playing for several hours, Lisina, having had her fill, excitedly said, "Let's go swimming."

The two jumped into a serpentine pool, ten feet wide and of immeasurable length, with people occasionally passing by in small boats.

"Christian, guess how many men I've had since we parted ways?" Lisina said as she swam.

Although he had already fallen for Alim, he couldn't help but feel jealous of Risna, his mature older sister. He really didn't want to imagine her in the arms of another man, but he had no right to restrain her, especially since she had so many suitors around her.

"Three?"

"No."

"Then there are five."

"Far from it."

Christian couldn't hide his jealousy and said, "You don't have ten or eight men, do you? You don't cherish yourself enough."

"Your jealous expression is cute. So, do you cherish me?"

"Of course I care about you."

"To be honest, not a single one."

Christian asked in surprise, "Why?"

"Because I want more than just men. Although many people pursue me, they only want my body. If it's just to satisfy my lust, I have ten or eight vibrators. With those things, what do I need men for? Only you are different. That time, you not only saved my life, but also my soul."

Liz kissed Christian's face passionately, then smiled and put her hand behind her back.

Next, she pulled the top half of her red swimsuit out of the water and placed it on the edge of the pool. In other words, her upper body was now completely naked, vaguely visible through the water's reflection and the rippling waves.

"You're so bold!"

"Because I missed you so much."

Lisna took the initiative to hug Christian, rubbing her round, full breasts against his body. Completely unconcerned about the stares of others.

Christian could imagine why Lisna was so bold and proactive. Soldiers didn't have many holidays, and their deployment locations frequently changed, not to mention that the two of them belonged to opposing camps. It was truly precious that they were able to find time to meet this time. There might not be another chance to see each other again.

Christian reached into the water and, together with Lisna, untied the straps of her red swim trunks.

They pulled the trunks out of the water and placed them on the poolside; Lisna was completely naked in the water. Anyone passing by in a boat who noticed the swimsuit would naturally guess that Lisna was swimming naked.

Lisna's large, beautiful breasts bobbed in the water, and Christian passionately and wildly kneaded and caressed them, making them as firm as ever.

"Ahhhhh..."

Ignoring the passing boats and swimmers, Lisna let out a moan of pleasure.

"This is so exciting," Lisna said, her expression a mixture of excitement and embarrassment, but she showed no intention of stopping.

Christian caressed Lisina's peach blossom garden underwater. Looking down from the surface, golden water plants swayed with the movement of his fingers. Christian could feel a warm current seeping from within the garden.

"Ahhh..."

Lisina felt a storm of pleasure raging within her. The thrill of being discovered, the lubricating coolness of the pool water, and Christian's skillful fingers—all these factors combined to create an indescribable pleasure.

Just then, a mother with several daughters happened to pass by in a boat. Seeing Christian and Lisina's actions, the mother guessed what they were doing and, with a disdainful expression, told her daughters not to look.

Christian, however, deliberately intensified the movements of his fingers inside Lisina.

"I can't take it anymore! It's too exciting!"

The little girl looked at Lisna and asked her mother curiously, "That older sister's cries are strange. Is she feeling unwell?"

Lisna, surprisingly, still had the mind to reply to the little girl, "She's not unwell, she's feeling incredibly good. You'll understand when you grow up." "

What shameless bastards!" The mother angrily steered the boat away quickly.

Christian's fingers thoroughly caressed Lisna's smooth, bare back and bouncy, round buttocks, feeling the time was right. He pulled down his swim trunks, took out his thick, erect penis

, lifted Lisna's slender legs, and smoothly inserted it. The garden was already overflowing with honeyed juices, warmly welcoming the intruder.

"Oh...ah...it's so hot..."

Lisna excitedly gripped Christian's shoulders tightly. Christian pushed Lisna closer to the edge of the pool for support. Then, using the buoyancy of the water, he grabbed Lisna's legs and lifted her up.

Then, using his waist strength, he thrust forward again and again, invading the secret cave of Peach Garden.

"Ah...ah...ah...again...harder..."

At this moment, the two were completely absorbed in their own world, oblivious to the gazes of others.

Lisna reveled in the sweet, pleasurable sensations. When Christian entered, his hot, thick penis filled her body, and when he withdrew, the cool pool water filled the space. The interplay of hot and cold brought her pleasure to a rapid climax.

Lisna's body swayed in the water, responding to Christian's advances. Her long golden hair floated in the water, and her alabaster skin flushed a rosy hue with excitement.

"Ahhhhhh... Ahhhhh..."

The shock of orgasm spread throughout her body, and Lisna fell into a daze, unaware that Christian had already planted his seed inside her.

Once Lisna regained her senses, she was still unwilling to separate, and the two remained in this close embrace for the time being.

"I'm afraid this is the last time we'll see each other and be intimate," Lisna murmured sadly.

Unlike Yoko, with whom he spent every day, Christian decided not to tell her about his relationship with Alim.

"I have one last request."

"What is it? I'll do my best to do it."

"Let me see your body, directly, without the water obstructing my view."

Lisna looked around awkwardly; four or five swimmers were already watching their strange behavior from a short distance away.

Blushing, Lisna boldly nodded in agreement. Then, clinging to the edge of the pool, she stood up from the water in one breath. Bathed in the indoor light, her naked, exposed body, glistening with moisture, appeared utterly sacred.

"Wow!" gasped the onlookers.

Lisina knelt on one knee before Christian, her wet blonde hair clinging to her delicate skin. Her full, rounded breasts were inches away, her vulva a vibrant red, her waist slender and long, her legs shapely and supple. Especially striking was the area around her vulva, a verdant paradise, from which pool water, love juices, and warm milk seemed to flow.

Christian feasted his eyes on Lisina's captivating body, meticulously memorizing it, knowing he would likely never see it again.

After fulfilling Christian's wish, Lisina quickly put on her swimsuit before the number of onlookers increased.

Happy times always come to an end, and Yoko reappeared with Mire, who hadn't gained any advantage. The four of them left the water park together, parting ways at the gate.

Lisina and Yoko hugged Christian one by one.

Lisina clenched her fists and mustered her courage to ask, "Have you ever thought about leaving the Self-Defense Forces, just staying on the neutral moon, and not having to fight anymore after the war?"

Yoko and Christian looked at each other. Even though the Federation forces had gained the initiative in the war, and their advantage was gradually expanding, they couldn't be deserters, for their fallen comrades, their surviving companions, and their families back home.

"Is it really impossible?" Lisna asked herself dejectedly.

Mireille said, "I hope we won't meet again. Because if we do, it will probably be on the battlefield. I won't hold back then; killing someone you know isn't a pleasant thing."

Lisna is different from Alim; Alim is just a communications soldier, but Lisna is now a mobile warfare pilot in the Federation Army. If they really meet on the battlefield, they'll have to fight to the death.

Christian concluded, "Even the longest war will eventually end. I hope we won't meet before then, and that everyone can survive until the end."

Lisna waved goodbye to him with tears in her eyes. Christian and Yoko were equally heartbroken.

Back at base in the third quarter, Christian reviewed Milley's information. Since the Federation was promoting him as a wartime hero, his profile was easily found in public reports. A former Space Force pilot, he had fought across Earth as the war progressed, destroying hundreds of Zaku in his Swordfish fighter—an average of one every three days. Recently, he had transferred to the Mobile Suit Corps and was even granted a personal paint scheme as a "Crash King."

Lisna was one of his subordinates.

The Federation's space counter-offensive was imminent, with intensified attacks and patrols based at Luna 2 in orbit around Earth and at the lunar base on the Moon.

By the end of November, Christian had encountered the Federation forces several times while training his men. Of his six new recruits, two were killed in action, and two more were brought in to replace them. The training showed no improvement whatsoever.

Before December arrived, on November 30th, the North American Self-Defense Forces launched a large-scale airborne attack on the Federation headquarters at Zaborough, attempting to turn the tide of the war or at least delay the Federation's impending offensive. This attack ended in a crushing defeat, and on December 2nd, over one hundred ships took off from Zaborough, marking the beginning of the Federation's counter-offensive into space.

This offensive was codenamed Operation Star One.

Meanwhile, on Earth, starting December 5th, the Federation forces launched a general offensive against the Self-Defense Forces in North America, Africa, and Asia.

Faced with overwhelming numerical superiority and insufficient supplies, the Self-Defense Forces on Earth suffered repeated defeats. The survivors either waged a hopeless resistance or retreated into space with their remaining strength.

Hundreds of Federation warships gradually assembled on Luna II, using this last bit of time to familiarize their troops with how to operate GMs in space. The total number of GMs on all fronts likely exceeded ten thousand, more than the total number of all types of mobile suits in the Self-Defense Forces.

In comparison, the Self-Defense Forces' space fleet numbered less than two hundred, while their mobile suit numbers were currently between five and six thousand.

The Self-Defense Forces' advantage lies in having a small number of elite mobile suit pilots. However, due to continuous losses, most pilots are now recruits with only a few months of training and at most one or two combat experiences; many have none at all.

The Federation's mobile suit pilots are primarily converted fighter pilots; they are not only trained but also have ample combat experience. However, their biggest drawback is their unfamiliarity with mobile suit operation. The Federation has only been equipping itself with the GM mobile suit on a large scale for about two months.

Additionally, the Self-Defense Forces, led by Kislia, have developed mobile armor specifically for new types of humans. They are rumored to possess combat capabilities far exceeding those of mobile suits. However, almost all of their pilots are rookies trained by training institutions.

The military had also investigated active-duty units to identify new-type individuals, and Christian was confirmed to be one during this time. However, like other active-duty units, he lacked confidence in these mobile suits, and more importantly, he was unwilling to leave his comrades with whom he had shared life and death. As a result, most of the confirmed new-types were not transferred to the new-type mobile suit units. This was also related to the factional conflicts within the Sabi family, between Kiran, Kislia, and Delz.

December 24th, Christmas Eve. Federation fleets assembled, with the vanguard beginning their assault on the space fortress Solomon.

Defending their own lines, the space fortress Abao served as the core, alongside the two forward bases of Solomon and Granada. This formed a mutually supportive triangle, each formidable and capable of rapid reinforcement in the event of an attack.

Upon learning of the attack on Solomon, Granada dispatched a large contingent of reinforcements, including the USS Babenhausen, carrying Christian.

The support fleet learned of Solomon's fall while en route. This news shocked everyone on board.

Their mission was temporarily changed to rescuing and receiving the fleeing troops escaping Solomon, and continuing their advance towards Fort Abao.

The morale of the Guardians plummeted. Christian himself recalled that he hadn't participated in any large-scale battles since the Battle of Odessa, which was why he had survived until now.

But during this period, first, Zabulo's airborne operation failed, followed by the Federation's massive counter-offensive in North America, Africa, and Asia. Coupled with the rapid fall of Solomon, in just two months, the Guardians went from dominating half the globe to holding the last line of defense in Abao. And this was with a group of new recruits as the main force. Although the total number of mobile suits was three thousand, only twelve hundred were the newer Domus, and the latest Warriors numbered only two hundred. More than half of the mobile suits were still the old-fashioned Zaku.

The Self-Defense Forces achieved brilliant victories in the first two months of the war, followed by a strategic stalemate in the middle, and finally, the Federal Army launched a series of victories at the same speed. The rapid changes in the war situation were truly bewildering.

Upon arriving at Abao, Christian learned from rumors that the rapid fall of Solomon was due to two main reasons. First, Commander Delz delayed requesting reinforcements due to factional infighting. Second, the Federation's new weapon, the Solar Mirror, a solar concentrator system that used four million mirrors to concentrate sunlight, creating a weapon with terrifying destructive power. The Solar Mirror launched a second attack, severely damaging the defenses of Fort Solomon and annihilating most of the defending fleet.

Inside Fort Abao, everyone verbally vowed to hold this last line of defense, but deep down they all believed the fortress's fall was only a matter of time. The disparity in strength between the enemy and our forces was immense, and the enemy possessed new weapons specifically designed for fortresses, negating the defensive advantage the Self-Defense Forces had.

Christian questioned himself: what was the meaning of this war? To break the Federation's economic blockade and fight for recognition of independence. Billions of civilians had been slaughtered, the Federation Space Forces had been decisively defeated, half the Earth had been occupied, and after more than half a year, the Federation forces had counterattacked at our borders.

Were we fighting to lose?

What value did the dead have?

Regardless, after capturing Solomon and making necessary resupply, the Federation forces launched their final attack on Abao.

The date was December 30th, Universal Century 0079.

The fleet, commanded by General Reibell, included enemies both familiar and unfamiliar to Christian: Wild Wolf, Inge, Mireille, and Lisna.

Since the Principality of the Guard mobilized all males over fifteen years of age for this final battle, this reckless act could only be described as a desperate struggle.

The defeat at Solomon had further widened the enemy-to-friend ratio to one to five, making the upcoming battle a hopeless and desperate fight, purely a desperate struggle to protect their homeland.

But all of this changed at 9:05 PM. An unprecedentedly powerful beam of light shot from the perimeter of Abao towards the Federation forces.

Stuart, now a vice admiral commanding one of the Federation fleets, witnessed the flash from the flagship.

"What is that light?"

he stammered, before a blinding glare engulfed everything. Then, through the right window, he saw hundreds of shimmering orbs, like jewels.

In contrast to the Federation's secret weapon, the Solar Mirror, the Self-Defense Forces had secretly developed a similar weapon—the Solar Cannon, officially called the Solar Laser Cannon. Modified from colonies, its caliber alone reached seven kilometers.

"How is this possible?"

Even the battle-hardened Stuart trembled with fear; in a mere instant, it had shattered the composure of more than one hundred and fifty ships, a fleet larger than a fleet. Moreover, the commander of this unit was the spiritual pillar of the Federation forces, leading them from defeat to victory, right up to General Reibell.

"The shockwave is coming."

The air released after the battleship exploded, combined with the high-speed debris, slammed into the nearby surviving fleet at extremely high speed.

Amidst the violent shaking, the battleship was struck in multiple places, creating breaches and causing further casualties.

When everything calmed down, the survivors found themselves surrounded by the wreckage of other ships and corpses floating in space.

Stewart sat back down dejectedly; they had lost all confidence in victory.

Faced with the horrific scene before them, some in Stewart's Marines held the opposite attitude.

On the supply ship, Wolf, observing his allies' defeat before the battle even began, nonchalantly remarked, "Looks like the outcome of this war isn't decided yet!"

For most, war is a catastrophe, and they desperately want it to end. But some enjoy war and hope it can drag on as long as possible; Wolf was one of those people.

"I hope the Self-Defense Forces perform better this time. I don't want peace so soon; it's only been a year of fighting. Too short a time!"

Inge didn't intend to waste time criticizing this beast. Although her face was pale, she calmly said, "Even if our army loses a third of its troops, it hasn't shaken our numerical advantage. I will personally end this war for you to see."

"But you, are you planning to deliberately feign defeat this time?"

"Don't joke! Although I want the war to drag on, I don't want to die. I won't do something as stupid as deliberately holding back."

After annihilating the enemy with a secret weapon, the commander of the Kilian Army addressed the Self-Defense Forces inside the fortress.

"Now, more than half of the Earth Federation Army has vanished into space from the attack of our colony's laser cannons. The light of these colony lasers is proof of my self-defense and justice!"

Just as postwar historians recorded, he gambled his victory on the solar-powered laser cannon. And to buy time for completion, he didn't hesitate to sacrifice the defenders of Solomon. However, the Federation Army's swift capture of Solomon with the solar cannon was indeed beyond his expectations.

When the reconnaissance team brought back footage of the adventure, showing the Federation Army's horrific attack, it was broadcast inside Fort Abao, and the entire fortress erupted in cheers.

Christian, who had been filled with despair, also felt a renewed hope for victory.

Tilly and Finney even danced with excitement. Some even began singing the Self-Defense Forces' anthem. The Self-Defense Forces' morale, previously at rock bottom, quickly soared to its peak.

After losing their Space Fleet Commander-in-Chief, Reiber, the surviving vice admirals, such as Beda and Stewart, re-established command and decided to continue their attack on Abao.

The Federation believed that such powerful weapons couldn't fire continuously in a short time, and that they had no chance of victory without attacking during the gaps in the barrage; moreover, they still possessed a numerical advantage.

Piloting her brand-new Jim, Lisna watched as medics treated the wounded and maintenance crews carried out emergency repairs on the ships. After more than ten hours of regrouping and reorganization, the Federation forces had not only stabilized their position but also regained their morale.

To Lisna, the dead were dead. They had finally made it to the final line of defense of the Self-Defense Forces; once they captured it, victory should be theirs. The saying "a desperate army is bound to win" applied here.

The Self-Defense Forces now faced a choice between surrender and annihilation. Lisna hoped the Self-Defense Forces would choose the latter, giving her a chance to fight in the Third District and avenge her lost family and friends, as well as the many fallen comrades.

"Ladies first," Mirei, the superior officer, said on the screen. His ability to joke on the eve of battle showed his confidence and composure.

"Lisna Bert, sortie!" Lisna piloted the GM and flew out of the Magellan-class battleship through the open hatch.

Mirei followed immediately, and the Federation's GM squadron formed up, ready for battle.

At 8:00 AM on December 31st, the battle officially began. The Federation forces launched a fierce assault with assault boats as the vanguard. The Self-Defense Forces responded with missile batteries.

The USS Babenhausen was positioned in front of Fort Abao, while Christian and his squadron had already formed ranks to meet the attack.

At the start of the battle, the Federation assault boats were destroyed one by one, and the vanguard was bogged down.

Next, the Federation forces, with thousands of GMs leading the way and supported by mobile armored iron balls with 180mm live-fire guns, followed by a massive fleet, launched an attack on the Self-Defense Forces' defenses.

The supply fleet, originally equipped with solar arrays, had long been destroyed by the solar cannons, leaving them with no choice but to launch a frontal assault on the Federation forces.

Hundreds of ships from both sides engaged in a dazzling artillery battle, beams exceeding a thousand degrees crisscrossing the cosmos. The emplacements and missile sites on Fort Abao also began providing support fire. The universe transformed into a kaleidoscope of colors, but behind every ray of light lay the corresponding human death.

Four or five Mega Particle Cannon shots grazed past the Babenhausen before striking the fortress's surface.

Federation GMs, their beam rifles firing continuously, closed in on the Self-Defense Forces' mobile combatants.

Christian received the order to engage. With a wave of his hand, the entire squadron of mobile suits followed the main force to the front.

Fierce fighting erupted on all fronts. Christian calculated the enemy's movements, and the Great Demon fired two 90mm rounds in quick succession, bullets flying red-hot towards a GM in front of him.

The GM dodged, but immediately landed in the spot Christian had calculated for his second shot.

A series of explosions blew off the GM's shield and the arm holding the gun.

Tilly and Finney, with seamless coordination, shot down another GM. However, Christian's force also lost two Zaku in the initial head-on engagement. While

every Federation GM was equipped with a shield, the Zaku only had a shoulder shield on its left shoulder. Furthermore, in the vastness of space, GM's Mega Particle Beam Rifle possesses extremely high speeds from any angle.

Meanwhile, nine out of ten Self-Defense Force mobile suits still use 90mm machine guns specifically designed for mobile suit combat.

While their speed is indeed high in direct confrontation, reaching several thousand kilometers per hour, in pursuit, the relative speed drops to only a few hundred kilometers per hour, making bullets easily evaded.

The Self-Defense Force's mobile suits and weaponry are inferior to the Federation's, and their recruits are also of lower quality. They are either solely focused on dodging or solely on attacking.

Those focused only on dodging are better off, as they can survive longer and distract and disperse enemy forces. Novices who only focus on attacking have extremely low accuracy and don't know how to use evasive maneuvers, making them easy targets for Federation soldiers with one or two shots.

The Self-Defense Forces can only rely on veterans like Christian. Especially those piloting the new Dom and a very small number of Warriors, they have demonstrated their power to fight against multiple opponents.

Federation pilots, in their use of mobile suits, have never matched the Self-Defense Forces' veterans.

After half an hour of fighting, Christian had hit six GMs, but only two were completely destroyed. He himself was unharmed.

The world without gravity is different from Earth. This is a three-dimensional space where aircraft typically fly at speeds of thousands of kilometers per hour. Skilled pilots can easily dodge enemy attacks and seize opportunities to strike.

Conversely, on Earth, even if you wanted to dodge, you couldn't; you were confined to two-dimensional space, and your speed on the ground was only a few tens of kilometers per hour.

Tilly and Finney's seamless teamwork resulted in a greater offensive force than two Dom operating independently. They employed a strategy of one unit engaging from the front while the other attacked from behind. Unlike Christian, who was often blocked by the shields in front, they were able to withstand attacks. In the same amount of time, they hit eight GMs and four Iron Balls, most of which were completely destroyed.

The cost, however, was the deaths of five of Christian's six rookies. Once a Zaku was hit and damaged, it became even more difficult to escape a second strike from the Federation. Only one rookie survivor was desperately trying to dodge, and wasting ammunition by firing wildly.

This inexperienced target naturally became the primary target of the Federation forces. But as the saying goes, "the mantis stalks the cicada, unaware of the oriole behind," Christian, Tilly, and Finney were attacking the Federation's Jim and Ironball from behind.

Half an hour later, the tide of battle turned even more severe. The Federation's surviving Jim and Ironball far outnumbered the Self-Defense Force's Doom and Zaku. Not to mention the few remaining warriors.

The Self-Defense Force's Jim and Zaku were forced to retreat, relying on the support firepower of the fortress and ships to fight back.

At this moment, Lisna and Mireille joined the Federation forces in attacking the Dorothy, the mainstay of the Self-Defense Forces' defenses, and sank the super-large ship that could carry hundreds of mobile fighters.

This created a large gap in the Self-Defense Forces' defenses, putting them in a passive state overall.
