entrance and waited for Lance. However, two or three mysterious figures cloaked and their faces obscured caught Shou'er
's attention.
"So sneaky and secretive in broad daylight...could they be spies from the Enforcement Hall?" Shou'er
warily observed the three cloaked figures from a distance.
But soon, he saw one of the mysterious figures exchange photographic stones with Lance, along with a red and white striped
cloth. After the cloaked figure finished the transaction, she turned and left. However, once she was far away from the
group, she secretly took out the red and white strip of cloth and examined it repeatedly until she was almost at the alley entrance before quickly
putting it away again.
"So she's a female cultivator! Is she dressed like that to avoid being recognized?" Shou'er, hiding in the corner of the alley entrance,
caught a glimpse of the mysterious figure's high breasts under the loose cloak as she hurried away.
After waiting for a long time and watching the remaining two cloaked figures walk out of the alley, Shou'er finally breathed a sigh of
relief.
"Sigh, all that tension for nothing. They're both female cultivators. I guess they're afraid of being recognized by their fellow disciples, just like me
?"

"You, Sun Jian! How dare you abuse public office for personal gain? It's clearly your own Daoist partner's matter, yet you're using the Enforcement Hall's name to
offer such a high reward?" Shou'er was furious at the murmurs of his fellow disciples.
He wanted to shout three times to the large circle of comrades:
"Fellow disciples, don't be fooled! This is Sun Jian's personal matter, it has nothing to do with you! Don't
get involved!"
But Shou'er could only worry in his heart; he couldn't shout it out loud. So he became even angrier at
Sun Jian for abusing his power.
"Sun Jian, you old scoundrel! Originally, I was just helping someone get revenge because your Daoist partner was bullying others, so we were even. But I didn't expect you
to be so despicable, actually using the sect's name to do your own thing. Since you want to fight, don't blame me for being impolite
!" Shou'er was determined to teach Sun Jian a lesson.
Shou'er didn't want to linger in the crowded Merit Hall. Feeling guilty, he feared
being noticed by someone in the sect like Lance, who could see right through people. So he quickly turned and slipped out of the Merit Hall.
But…
"That tall figure walking towards the front desk looks so familiar… Could it be Brother Daitou?"
Before leaving the Merit Hall, Shou'er glanced around one last time, and out of the corner of his eye,
he caught sight of someone walking towards the registration desk from the crowd watching the bounty missions. That tall
figure looked very familiar to Shou'er.
Shou'er was shocked! If anyone in the entire sect knew the most about Ji Yuan being secretly photographed, besides Shou'er,
it was undoubtedly Brother Daitou.
"This money-grubbing guy, could he really be tempted by that huge reward? Is he going
to betray us?" Shou'er couldn't believe his eyes.
In her desperation, Shou'er disregarded the strange looks from others and had no choice but to return to the hall. She hurriedly
squeezed through the crowd, turned her back, and stood not far from the front desk where she could register for the mission, listening intently:
"Junior sister, could you tell me about that super high reward bounty mission posted in the hall? If
the information provided isn't about [Jade Spear God] himself, but about someone related to him, will there be a reward?" It was Dai Tou's
voice asking.
"That money-grubbing bastard! He's actually going to betray me for a high reward!" Shou'er felt
as if she'd been struck by lightning upon hearing Dai Tou's question!
