I took a picture of the DNA test report and sent it to Huang Shanshan, telling her that Gao Weimin was her biological father.
"Shanshan, why don't you meet him? He really wants to see you," I said.

Gao Weimin, a cigar between his fingers, smiled as he walked towards us. Huang Shanshan leaned closer to me, her face close to my cheek, and lowered her head.
"Shanshan," I said, staring at Gao Weimin, "he is your father."
Huang Shanshan still didn't glance at her biological father.
At the huge rectangular dining table that could seat at least twenty or thirty people, only Huang Shanshan, Gao Weimin, and I sat.
Huang Shanshan and I sat on one side, and Gao Weimin sat opposite us. All the food was luxuriously high-class, including air-freighted Japanese sashimi, French foie gras, and expensive foreign liquors whose names I couldn't identify. I estimated that this meal would probably cost an ordinary person a year's hard work.

I looked at her and said, "Shanshan, why bother?"

"It's quite nice here. You and your father just met, why don't you stay the night?"
She stared at me for a while and asked, "Are you leaving or not?"
I didn't speak, just kept drinking.
"Fine, you're not leaving, huh? I'll leave myself." Huang Shanshan glared at me, walked to one end of the huge rectangular dining table, and said to Gao Weimin, "Uncle Gao, could you take me back to Hengdian in your car?"
Gao Weimin spread his hands, "Okay, no problem."
He then raised his hand behind him and said, "Take Miss back."
"Yes, Chairman." A henchman responded, and then gestured to Huang Shanshan, "Miss, this way please."
Huang Shanshan gave me a resentful look and left the room. In that instant, I realized I had betrayed Huang Shanshan. I tilted my head back and drank a mouthful of red wine, burying my head deeply.
"It's not a bad start." Gao Weimin looked at me and smiled. "I can see that my daughter loves you very much. Next, we will need Mr. Chen's continued strong support."
After a long while, I raised my head and extended my right index finger to Gao Weimin.
"Ten million?" Gao Weimin said, "Although you're asking for a bit too much, I'm still willing to give it to you."
I shook my head, continuing to hold up my right hand. "One million."
Gao Weimin looked at me in surprise, and after a long while said, "Brother, are you sure you're not joking?"
