I pulled back the blackout curtains, and the sound of rain through the sheer fabric seemed even closer. I turned on the stereo and played a series of our favorite bedtime stories on repeat. I sat down, idly sipping my wine and admiring the spring-like atmosphere in the room. They were eagerly pressing their passion against each other, and the blood circulation in Sheng's right upper arm deepened. I glanced sideways at my own left upper arm, which looked perfectly normal.
Sheng was a friend of many years. After we both got married, he moved to another city. After a long journey, we checked into our accommodation in Kenting, ate and drank well, and were about to go to sleep when the phone rang again. Sheng said he had arrived at our place, but there were no rooms available in Kenting. I asked if he really meant it, and he said he was in the lobby. I changed my clothes and went downstairs, and sure enough, it was him. I said, "Brother, it's fate that we met like this! He even traveled diagonally around the island to see us." We went back to our room and chatted until dawn, letting him sleep on the sofa in the living room.

When it got light, she shook me awake. I said I still wanted to sleep, and she said, "Look at Sheng." I went out and saw him wearing only his underwear, sprawled out and fast asleep, his legs practically towering over me. I pulled her back to the room and said, "It's nothing, he's been away on business for many days, it's normal." She blushed and said, "That's not what I meant." I said, "What do you mean? Show him his face and his right upper arm." I went over and looked again, then came back and said, "Nothing, but the birthmarks are on opposite sides of my arm." She got anxious and said, "Look at his face and hairstyle, what did you notice?" I suddenly realized, "He looks like Cheng, the one who used to pursue you." At that moment, I noticed that her whole body was burning hot, and I wanted it too, so I threw her onto the bed and took her right there and then. After we were done, I realized that I hadn't closed the door.
