A recent research paper published in the *American Journal of Epidemiology* suggests that men who don't shave daily have less frequent sexual activity and a 70% higher risk of stroke compared to those who shave daily.
This finding comes from a study conducted by the University of Bristol in southwest England. Researchers at the university tracked 2,438 middle-aged men in Wales for nearly 20 years and found that those who didn't shave daily were predominantly blue-collar workers, generally had lower marriage rates, fewer orgasms, and some even suffered from angina.
Professor Ibrahim of the university's medical department, who participated in the study, said that those who didn't shave frequently tended to have fewer orgasms and lower testosterone levels, reflecting their less stable marriages and less frequent sexual activity. The link between

A reporter interviewed Mr. Pavel, a sex counseling expert in Connecticut, USA, about this issue. When asked by a reporter if he had conducted similar research, he said that while the British study was somewhat unconventional, it was indeed very interesting from a sexual psychology perspective.
Pavel said that men's shaving is primarily a matter of personal hygiene. A man who shaves infrequently may reflect a lower quality of life and therefore less attention to his personal appearance. Men who have high-quality sex lives and frequently achieve orgasm are usually more conscious of their appearance and their image in the eyes of their partners, so they will definitely shave more often. He also admitted that he himself shaves frequently and has a normal sex life.
