Rayo Vima, a 21-year-old woman from the Dehatton region of northern India, appears to be an ordinary housewife. Her daily routine includes washing clothes, cleaning, caring for her 18-month-old son, Jer, and preparing hot dinners while waiting for her husbands to return from work. However, Vima isn't waiting for just one husband, but five.

Several years ago, according to local custom, Vima married five brothers. Her eldest husband is 32 years old, and the youngest is 19. Vima sleeps with a different husband each night according to a schedule, so when she gave birth to her first child, Jer, 18 months ago, she had no idea which husband was the father.

Reportedly, four years ago, Vima, just 18, married a local man named Gudu. Gudu, now 21, has four brothers: 32-year-old Bayu, 28-year-old Sant Ram, 26-year-old Gopal, and 19-year-old Dinish. According to an ancient local custom, after Vima married one of her brothers, she was required to marry all of the other brothers in the same family. In other words, Vima married not just one person, but all five brothers.

It is understood that although Gudu was Vima's only legal husband, she later held traditional wedding ceremonies with several of Gudu's other brothers, Bayu, Sant Ram, and Gopal. Last year, when Gudu's younger brother Dinish turned 18, Dinish also married Vima.
