My husband, Kang Jie, and I both graduated from university in 2000. Jobs were hard to find for university graduates back then, and we were no exception. We met through an introduction and got married in 2001. Our married life was happy, but we were both restless people. In 2001, starting our own business was already fashionable, and going to Shenzhen was even more of a trend. After venting, I would regret it because I felt sorry for him.
One night, I was awakened by a low, peculiar moaning sound—they were making love?! I listened intently, and sure enough, the sound was coming from that direction. I looked at my husband; he was already awake, staring intently at me. Just as I was about to speak, my husband covered my mouth with his hand and wrapped his other arm around me. Hearing the moans and creaking of the bed coming from the other side, my husband and I couldn't resist any longer. An unexpected embarrassment changed and strengthened the relationship between our two families.
