The effects of multiple sexual encounters on women

    page views:1  Publication date:2023-09-08@谁为
Whether frequent sexual intercourse affects a woman's health is a concern for many. During intercourse, a woman generally experiences the following stages:
First, under the influence of caressing, stimulation, and self-sexual fantasies, the body undergoes an arousal response (sexual desire), with rapid breathing, increased heart rate (more than 10 beats per minute), facial flushing, and heightened alertness; the breasts feel swollen, the nipples become enlarged and protrude due to engorgement, and contact with them produces a slight pleasure; a small amount of fluid is secreted from the vulva, and there are occasional reflexive muscle contractions in the lower vagina with noticeable pleasure. After penile insertion, the body becomes further aroused under the stimulation of penile thrusting, with significant pelvic congestion, and the muscles in the lower vagina contract, tightly gripping the penis (plateau phase), making penile stimulation even more pronounced and resulting in stronger pleasure.
Building upon the plateau phase, orgasm typically occurs within five to ten minutes (or longer or shorter). Symptoms include facial and body flushing, eyes lightly closed, a pleasurable expression, rapid breathing or moaning, a heart rate exceeding 100 beats per minute, erect breasts with further enlargement and protrusion of the nipples, labia majora swelling and eversion, labia minora becoming engorged and dark red and protruding outwards, clitoris thickening and elongating and becoming erect, pulling upwards towards the pubic symphysis, and the vulva secreting a large amount of thin, clear fluid. The most fundamental characteristic is the involuntary, powerful, rhythmic contraction of the lower vaginal sphincter, pelvic floor muscles, and skeletal muscles throughout the body. A intense and powerful pleasure pervades the entire body, thoughts naturally freeze, and all consciousness is immersed in the intense pleasure and extreme bliss of orgasm.
Finally, the resolution phase occurs, where the rhythmic muscle contractions during orgasm last for approximately 5 to 30 seconds before gradually ceasing naturally. The physical response, such as pelvic congestion, subsides gradually within 20 to 30 minutes, and the body returns to its normal state.
During this process, the potential health effects of repeated intercourse include:
1. The impact of repeated penile insertion on women's health. Penile insertion and thrusting provide mechanical stimulation to the vagina and may introduce bacteria. The vagina is composed of stratified squamous epithelium, which has strong resistance to friction. If there is no pain during friction stimulation, even with frequent and prolonged intercourse, there is usually no problem. Some women experience significant pain during penile insertion. This may be related to insufficient foreplay, insufficient vaginal lubrication, or excessive spasm of the lower vaginal muscles due to significant fear of intercourse. It may also be due to pre-existing vaginal inflammation.
Furthermore, repeated intercourse, especially if the penis or female genitalia are not clean, may introduce bacteria into the vagina, increasing the risk of infection. However, lactobacilli naturally grow in the female vagina, producing lactic acid and regulating the vaginal acidity. Under normal circumstances, the pH value is maintained at around 4.5, an acidic environment in which most bacteria cannot survive. Therefore, the vagina has a certain degree of resistance to infection, and under normal immune conditions, even multiple sexual intercourses in a short period will not lead to vaginal infection.
II. The impact of multiple orgasms on women's health. Orgasm is a human instinct developed through long-term biological evolution. The human body is naturally capable of initiating and experiencing orgasmic responses. Therefore, orgasmic responses are not harmful to women's health. Modern sexological research shows that orgasms can improve bodily functions and are beneficial to physical and mental health.
If sexual intercourse occurs multiple times a day, and each time the woman has no sexual response or a very weak sexual response, even if the frequency is high, it will not have a significant impact on the body; the vagina only experiences physical stimulation from penile penetration. If orgasm is achieved each time, the pelvic congestion and other bodily reactions will naturally subside within 20 to 30 minutes after orgasm, and the body will return to its normal state. Subsequent orgasms will not have any adverse effects on the body.
If a woman consistently enters the plateau phase during intercourse, experiencing significant pelvic congestion but failing to reach orgasm, she may feel psychologically "hanging in the air, unable to go up or down." In this case, pelvic congestion can persist for a long time, taking approximately 4 to 6 hours to subside even after intercourse ceases. Frequent intercourse, consistently entering the plateau phase without achieving orgasm, can eventually lead to chronic pelvic congestion or even blood stasis, causing discomfort such as lower abdominal distension, pain, and menstrual cramps.
Some women can achieve multiple orgasms in a single sexual encounter (up to 4 to 5 times consecutively); this is called multiple orgasms. Others can achieve another orgasm within minutes of the initial one; this is called sequential orgasms. These are all normal bodily responses and have no adverse effects on health.
In short, only women who frequently experience the plateau phase and fail to reach orgasm are likely to experience pelvic congestion, which could negatively impact their health; in other cases, it will not cause significant adverse effects on health. Worry or fear about frequent sexual intercourse can lead to sexual dysfunction and psychological abnormalities, which is even more detrimental to a person's physical and mental health.
