[Wuxia] The Legend of Condor Heroes: The World's People [Complete] - 8

    page views:1  Publication date:2023-03-24
Chapter Fifty-Seven: Arrogant Guo Fu, in a fit of pique, leaves to roam the martial world;
Mad Little Evil, with his divine sword, battles Huang Yaoshi.

"Young master," the doctor said, "examining your wife's pulse, I see: the left cun pulse is deep and rapid, the left guan pulse is deep and weak;
the right cun pulse is thin and weak, the right guan pulse is weak and listless. The deep and rapid left cun pulse indicates heart qi deficiency with internal heat; the deep and weak left guan pulse indicates liver qi stagnation
and blood deficiency. The thin and weak right cun pulse indicates severe lung qi deficiency; the weak and listless right guan pulse indicates spleen earth being restrained by liver wood. Heart qi deficiency with internal heat will manifest as irregular
menstruation insomnia. Liver blood deficiency and qi stagnation will inevitably cause pain and distension under the ribs, delayed menstruation, and fever. Spleen qi deficiency
will cause occasional dizziness and spontaneous sweating between 3-5 AM, feeling as if on a boat. Spleen earth being restrained by liver wood will inevitably cause loss of appetite, fatigue, and
weakness in the limbs. Fortunately, the lesions are just beginning and not serious. However, if this continues, it will surely become a hidden illness, and early treatment is essential." The doctor in the clinic, surnamed
Chen, was a renowned physician in Jiangnan.

Before I arrived, I had a vague suspicion that Chu Qing had gone wrong during her training. The Jade Maiden Heart Sutra wasn't exactly a good thing,
let alone this low-level internal energy cultivation technique from the Ancient Tomb Sect. Now that she's lost her virginity, her vital essence is unstable, her body is imbalanced
, and her menstrual cycle is irregular. She stubbornly refuses to speak up, making me want to pin her down and give her a good slap on the bottom. "Doctor, please
prescribe the best medicine. I still have some wealth; as long as it doesn't leave any lasting problems, spending more money is no problem."

"In that case, I will prescribe three doses of warming tonics for your wife. This prescription nourishes the liver and replenishes the kidney essence;
the timing of this medicine is also just right." The old doctor bowed and wrote out a prescription, implying that the medicine wasn't cheap, but if you had the money, you could consider
giving your wife some tonics from time to time. I noticed it contained several potent tonics like snow lotus, turtle shell, salvia miltiorrhiza, and deer antler powder, along with over a dozen
other herbs such as chuanxiong, rehmannia glutinosa, and honey. It seemed quite appropriate, and certainly not something an ordinary family could afford.

"Here's another dose. Simmer it over a low flame and it will take ten days to see results."

I took the medicine, realizing it was for treating the illness. However, the root of the problem wasn't there; we needed to think of other methods.
Li Chuqing knew her internal energy cultivation wasn't particularly advanced, and she had mostly progressed through self-exploration. Inevitably, some hidden problems
remained she hadn't paid much attention, but now, with her yin essence leaking out and her pure yin body deficient, her past ailments were gradually manifesting
. Therefore, when I took her out to see a doctor today, she didn't refuse out of embarrassment.

"Sister, there's something I'm not sure if I should ask, but I'm afraid it's related. Have you had
any minor discomforts in any part of your body over the years?" Third Sister remembered something and asked tentatively.

“It seems like there’s a minor ailment, but it’s just some old injuries from practicing unorthodox martial arts. It shouldn’t be anything serious, right?”
Li Chuqing replied.

“I…” San Niang hesitated for a moment, but didn’t press further.

“Madam, may I take your pulse?” the old doctor said, pointing at San Niang.

I thought San Niang might also have some health concerns, so I told her to sit down quickly and let the old doctor take her pulse.

The old doctor pondered for a moment, then smiled and said, “If I’m not mistaken, your wife is two months
pregnant Congratulations!” I’m mature and robust, giving the impression of being in my twenties.
San Niang, on the other hand, looked no more than twenty-four or twenty-five. In the old doctor’s eyes, even without my introduction, they could tell they were
a well-matched young couple.

After paying the doctor’s fee, I took the three women into a nearby tavern to rest. “Is it true? Why
didn’t ?” I asked, somewhat reproachfully, as I happily embraced San Niang’s soft waist.

"Ahem..." Third Sister looked a little embarrassed and glanced at Guo Fu standing to the side. "I
'm not sure , and I'm afraid it'll be another false alarm like before, so I want to wait until I'm sure before saying anything."

I then realized that the person who would be most unhappy to hear this was probably Guo Fu.

"Why are you looking at me? Third Sister is going to have a baby, of course I'll be overjoyed, hehe..." Surprisingly
, Guo Fu wasn't angry at all.

"Fu-mei, aren't you angry?" Third Sister held Guo Fu's hand and asked softly.

"Of course I'm angry, but who can blame me when Third Sister is my good older sister? You've taken care of me for so many years, and
I see clearly how much my brother cares for you, so of course I won't really be angry with you..." Although she said that, her eyes were filled with tears,
showing that she still had many grievances she couldn't express.

Third Sister felt guilty and gestured to me to persuade Guo Fu. I was also at my wit's end. Being asked to
step on a landmine at this point was a last resort. Chu Qing was sensitive but clumsy with words; she was
more she wasn't good at reading people's expressions. Clearly, I couldn't count on her for mediating.

"Sister Fu, birth, aging, sickness, and death are all fate, unavoidable. Don't blame Third Sister. If you're angry, hit me a few times,"
I said, forcing myself to speak.

"No, my mind is in turmoil. I want to go home," Guo Fu said calmly, standing up.

A chill ran through me. I had disappointed her time and time again. If Guo Fu truly refused to forgive me this time, it would likely
be a lifelong enmity, and I didn't know how to comfort her.

The four of them, overwhelmed by this sudden mix of joy and sorrow, lost all interest in their outing and hurriedly returned to the thatched hut.
As soon as they arrived home, Liu Rushi, the most perceptive of them all, noticed the strange atmosphere. Chu Qing told the others, and Rushi and Hong Lingbo remained silent,
unable to think of a solution. Suddenly, this once sweet and warm little home became incredibly oppressive. Guo
Fu became very silent after returning, not uttering a single word all day. Everyone was cautious, afraid to laugh, dare not make a fuss, and dare not
raise their voices.

Finally, three days later, she ran away with Hong Lingbo. She left only a letter: "Brother, I don't know if this is the last
time I'll call you that... Fu'er needs time to think things through and clarify our relationship. Fu'er always thought that
nothing could shake my heart for you, but now, Fu'er truly feels heartbroken. Perhaps Fu'er is still too young,
or perhaps Fu'er is still too naive, but Fu'er has her own feelings, at least for now, Fu'er hates you.

Fu'er can't bear to see you two being so affectionate every day, excluding me, so Fu'er has decided to leave. Over the years,
you've taught Fu'er a lesson: everyone must choose their own path, walk an extraordinary path, and cannot spend their entire life
hiding under the protection of their family. So this idea has inspired Fu'er to decide to venture out. Lingbo insists on following me, so let
her be; Fu'er also needs her experience in the martial world. Perhaps soon, you'll hear that the daughter of the great hero Guo Jing has become so-and-so."
"But perhaps after that, you'll hear about the earth-shattering things 'Yue Maiden Swordswoman' Guo Fu and 'Lingbo Fairy' Hong Lingbo have done in the martial world
. Fu'er will be careful in everything, so don't worry about me! Sister: Guo Fu's courtesy name."

I put the letter away and waved it in front of Chu Qing, asking, "Did you ask Lingbo to go with her?"

"No, but that girl is really clever. Lingbo has been with me in the martial world for nearly five years.
She takes care of everything on a daily basis, and she knows all the tricks of the villains in the martial world, so you don't need to worry, my lord." Chu Qing leaned over and read
two paragraphs , roughly understanding what had happened, and teased with a smile, "But aren't you going to go find her? Little Fu'er is really
angry this time. If some dashing young hero in the martial world really chases after her, let's see if you're still angry."

"If you haven't forgotten Lu Zhanyuan, will you run off with another man?" "A surge of jealousy welled up inside me, and without thinking, I blurted out a sarcastic remark.
I suddenly realized I'd gone too far. Seeing Chu Qing's panicked, tearful expression, I quickly hugged her and apologized, '
I'm sorry , Qing'er, I shouldn't have taken it out on you.'

'You always hurt people recklessly, and then try to make amends. If I were Xiao Fu'er, you would have taken me long ago,'
Chu Qing retorted, still seething with anger.

Knowing my own faults, I couldn't help but sigh, 'Sigh… I know I have a bad temper, but I often
do things without realizing it… I'll try to change, and you guys should remind me more often.'

Li Chu Qing also realized she'd reverted to her old bad temper and apologized, 'I was wrong too; I shouldn't have said those things
to upset you. What do you think we should do?'" "She's died once. Once a person understands life and death,
the violent temper in their nature vanishes like the wind, just like in their previous life. Otherwise, how could it be called an epiphany of life and death? Otherwise, given her previous personality, she
would have been dealt with by a flurry of Ice Soul Silver Needles long ago."

I sighed, thinking that I still cared about Fu-mei enough to have her wear the Soft Armor early on, which would greatly reduce the chances of her
encountering . While thinking, I said, "Fu-mei should send a letter home, but I think I should also
send a letter to Uncle Guo and Master to let them know. By the way, is there any way to contact my sister?" I asked.

"Yes, her carrier pigeon that carries me to contact her. If they find a place to land, Lingbo should be able to send the message
back in time," Li Chuqing nodded.

I noticed that her face was a little pale, and then I remembered that she was still not fully recovered. I couldn't help but ask with heartache, "Are you feeling
any better?" "It's a pity that the internal energy cultivation method my godfather passed down isn't a legitimate Xuanmen technique, so it can't strengthen your foundation and nourish your vital energy. Otherwise, it could have helped you
recuperate." I sighed.

"Godfather?" Li Chuqing asked, leaning against me.

"Uh... my godfather is a reclusive master, his name is 'Ximen Qing'." "I knew Ouyang Feng and Li Mochou had a grudge,
so I made a casual excuse to avoid upsetting her and went inside to write a letter.

In the afternoon, Third Sister accompanied me to the East City again, where we sent two letters to the post station—one to the Guo family and the other to Mo San.
Afterwards, I led Third Sister to several houses for sale.

Lin'an was the emperor's temporary capital and a prosperous and wealthy area in Jiangnan, so land prices were incredibly high. I carried
five thousand taels of silver with me on this trip, but after expenses for the group and helping the poor along the way, I only have about three thousand taels left.
For over ten days, I finally found a three-courtyard house near the city gate, but in a remote location. Even so, if I bought
it all at once, the others..." There's no need to do it. Third Sister, a woman accustomed to managing a household, was secretly troubled. She thought
that if things continued like this, within six months, the family would be struggling to even feed themselves, let alone buy a house or land.
Although had a plan to make money, I wasn't entirely confident. I wasn't afraid of being short of money, but stealing and robbing were not the right way;
I always wanted to get rich through hard work. That's why I didn't bring Chuqing with me today; otherwise, that woman would have snatched
the rich man's treasury again. I figured I was only temporarily staying in Lin'an, so a more remote location wouldn't matter. I negotiated with the owner for a long time and signed a one-year lease for a three-courtyard, ten-room house

for 480 taels of silver.
The courtyard was bright; even after deducting the main hall, flower hall, study, and woodshed,
there was enough room for everyone.

After settling the needs of the
whole family—food, drink, shelter, and lodging—all the necessities were expenses. Once the most basic necessities like tables, chairs, beds, and mattresses were provided, I only had eight hundred taels of silver left. Just then, Lingbo's carrier pigeon returned with news that
the two of them were assisting the local government in capturing a group of bandits near Xiangxi and would likely stay for a while, so we shouldn't worry. Li
Chuqing delivered the news of the move, told them the address, and instructed her apprentice to persuade Guo Fu to return once her anger subsided
before releasing the carrier pigeon. I gave Third Sister one hundred taels as living expenses for the month, settled the family, and then mysteriously... He secretly left
.

When I returned, without greeting anyone, I carried large and small bags, bottles and jars of materials into an empty room,
instructing the women not to disturb me.

At first, the three women and the maid Xiao Lü didn't pay much attention, but when it was almost dinnertime and I still hadn't come out to eat, they
sent Xiao Lü to invite me, only to be sent away with a few words. The women were puzzled, but didn't know what I was doing, so they could only sit in the hall and wait idly
as the food grew cold. It wasn't until almost ten o'clock at night that Chu Qing couldn't help but say, "Tonight is the first day
of moving, and he's just holed up in his room by himself. He really doesn't understand the meaning of caring for people, making us sit here and starve with him, without even offering to have a hot meal
together before going back to work."

"Haha, isn't that because your husband couldn't wait and wanted to give you a huge surprise?" "I was a little dizzy from all the chemical reagents and ammonia fumes this afternoon
, and my eyes were slightly red from the irritation,"
I said with a smug smile as I came out of the opposite room. Before Third Sister could ask, I waved my hand and said, "Let's eat first, as a little revenge for Chu Qing gossiping about me earlier."

Third Sister and Ru Shi both laughed. Chu Qing said with dissatisfaction, "Is it that special? I don't want to see it."

I knew she was on her period lately, and her mood was fluctuating, so I didn't argue with her. I hugged her and said, "Alright, don't be so
stingy . You'll definitely like it in a little while. I've devoted myself to our family's long-term plan, and yet I still get complaints.
Come on, give your husband a kiss, or I'll be heartbroken." "

Chu Qing knew she was wrong to lose her temper, so she hugged me tenderly and kissed me on the cheek as an apology.

"Alright, look, Qing'er and Ru Shi are both so engrossed in your cooking that they probably won't even be able to eat. You should take them to see what
good stuff it is. Xiao Lü and I will go heat up the dishes on the stove," Third Sister said.

"Master, let me go. You rest." Xiao Lü had received much care from me at home. She was a maid, but not a slave—
not the kind who was sold into servitude. So Xiao Lü treated me even better than Guo Fu. Since Guo Fu couldn't take her with her when she ran away, I
had her take care of the pregnant Third Sister.

I said, "Alright then, come with me." After I finished speaking, I led the three women to my small laboratory. When
a dozen or square mirrors, each the size of a book, appeared before the three women, they were all stunned by the rare objects they had never seen before.

I was very satisfied with their expressions. Ever since the day Third Sister complained that the bronze mirror couldn't reflect her face clearly, I had a sudden inspiration. Now that
we have glass, why not try making mirrors? With the current level of technology, this business could at least guarantee me
a monopoly for several decades. If I went for the high-end handmade route, I could probably earn enough money to last several lifetimes. However, I
was forced into this situation. If life hadn't forced me to find a way to earn money to support my family, I wouldn't have bothered with this effort. Today, I deliberately visited
several local specialty shops to buy experimental equipment, and also went to several herbal medicine shops and the Sanqing Temple on the outskirts of the city. I bought
a lot of saltpeter, mercury, gelatin, and other chemical materials from the Taoist priests to prevent anyone with ill intentions from stealing the formula. After spending most of the day mixing and sorting,
and after dozens of failures, I finally made these dozen or so mirrors of various sizes.

"Husband, is this what Ru Shi looks like? Tell me, is this really what Ru Shi looks like? Ru Shi
can't believe her eyes." Liu Ru Shi didn't dare to touch the mirror, afraid of some taboo, and
asked while touching her pretty face.

Li Chuqing reacted the fastest, pulling me to stand in front of the mirror with her. We looked at my reflection in the mirror first, and then at my real self.
We were surprised to find that it was indeed exactly the same. Not only was the appearance completely identical, but even my every movement was perfectly
reflected. "This is truly a treasure..." Chuqing exclaimed.

"Husband, what is this?" Third Sister glanced at it, finding her face indeed rosy and delicate, comparable to
a young woman in her early twenties. Overjoyed, she turned to ask me.

I sat on the stool, pulled Third Sister onto my lap, and said with a smile, "Yin'er, didn't you complain in the mirror the other day that you
couldn't see clearly? This is the annotation left by Island Master Huang after he made the glassmaking formula. You can see that this thing is like a deep,
still , reflecting every detail of a person. I intend to name this thing 'Yunmeng Treasure Mirror.' Not only can we keep it for ourselves, but we can also sell it
to wealthy families... Hehe, robbery? That's too low-tech. I prefer to openly extort money." My words
made the three women beam with joy. They surrounded the mirror, chattering excitedly for a while, then went around to the back of the mirror,
only a flat, indigo-blue surface. They reached out and touched it, but there was nothing there.

I smiled as I watched their curious research, without disturbing them. I finally felt a weight lifted off my shoulders.
Not all of these mirrors were well-made; some had air bubbles inside and needed cutting. I still had
a diamond drill—it wouldn't be an exaggeration to call it a legendary tool passed down from the master craftsman of glassmaking! And the first few
mirrors had a thin nitrate coating; once it dried, there wasn't time to add more. Including the dozens of scrap pieces,
five hundred taels of silver were gone. But I thought, tomorrow I'll go to the blacksmith to order a batch of tin and silver frames to
fit . The large mirrors could sell for several thousand strings of cash, and even the smaller ones could fetch at least three hundred, making a huge profit. Unfortunately
, the government had banned the sale of copperware, and the price of copper was incredibly high, making it less profitable than decorating with silver.

At this moment, Xiao Lü was also attracted by the chattering discussion. She circled the mirrors, startled, and blurted out "monster!",
causing everyone to burst into laughter.

However, after only three days, I began to regret making the mirror to cause trouble. At this moment, Third Sister entered the room holding
an exquisite silver mirror. She sat opposite me and asked, "Guo'er, look, I have a mole here. It's quite light in color, and even the old
bronze mirror couldn't see it. Do you think I should remove it? Hmm, I should go to the Sanqing Temple and ask the Daoist Master Qingxian
to interpret this mole for me."

"Yin'er, stop nagging! You've said it nine times already. Let me see... Isn't this the mole of wealth and honor?
No wonder you're said to bring good fortune to your husband. Our family will definitely be prosperous, with abundant wealth, many children and grandchildren, and a thriving clan. I think if we have
a son, he'll be the reincarnation of the God of Literature, and if it's a daughter, she'll be the reincarnation of the Dragon Girl..." Although I was impatient
, seeing Third Sister starting to pout and become unhappy, I still had to coax her with a bunch of nice words until she left with a happy and satisfied smile.

"Yang Lang...look at my skin, isn't it a bit dry lately? Here, here, look, when I smile, don't I
see a deep laugh line..." Having just seen San Niang off, Li Chuqing came over again, holding a mirror and acting coquettishly.

"My darling, nothing's wrong. Your smile is captivating, making your husband's heart itch.
As for your dry skin...they should practice their dual cultivation techniques, it'll get better soon..." Saying this,
she closed the study door, and from inside came soft moans and the creaking of the table,
a sound that stirred the imagination.

Half an hour later, Li Chuqing, looking tired but with a rosy complexion and a shy, alluring charm, emerged from the study. I,
meanwhile , sat cross-legged in my armchair, humming a little tune, "Give me a cigarette."

"Master~~~" Liu Rushi burst in, sobbing.

I thought to myself, "My goodness, I regret it so much..." This "mirror syndrome" lasted for half a month before gradually subsiding
. Another month passed. One day, I was reading in the house when Ru Shi went grocery shopping with Third Aunt, leaving only Chu Qing and me at home
. I was calculating the journey, figuring that Mo San would arrive soon so we could all share the profits. I still needed Mo San's help in many ways with this business
. For example, purchasing goods; I couldn't keep buying those medicines from Sanqing Temple. Secondly, I couldn't show my true colors publicly,
otherwise , if those Taoist priests and chemists discovered the secret, I'd have nowhere to cry. There was also the matter of product
sales and packaging; my ideas weren't as resourceful as Mo San's. Originally, my purpose in sending Mo San the letter was that if the experiment succeeded, we could all get rich
together . If the experiment failed, he should at least squeeze out ten thousand taels of silver from me to help himself. Now everything was ready,
except for Mo San's timely help.

"Yang Guo, come out."

I was happily sipping my tea when I suddenly heard someone calling my name loudly from the courtyard. I pushed open the door to see who was the
fool who had interrupted my get-rich-quick dream. Upon closer inspection, it was Huang Yaoshi.

"Grandmaster, what brings you here?" I quickly greeted him with a smile.

"Hmph, I'm asking you, kid, what did you do to my disciple and Xiao Fu'er?" Huang Yaoshi raised his eyes, ignoring me, and
asked with a cold snort.

"Well... we had a fight, and she said she wanted to go out for a walk to clear her head, so I asked my sworn sister to go with her." I said concisely
, avoiding the main point.

"You've quite mastered the art of Confucianism, is it really that simple? The sworn sister you're talking about, is she Li Mochou
's disciple?"

"Yang..." Li Chuqing heard me talking to someone in the front yard and ran over from the back yard to see what was going on. Unexpectedly, just
one glance terrified her; it turned out to be one of the people she feared most—Eastern Heretic Huang Yaoshi.

Huang Yaoshi was stunned, then suddenly realized, "You girl really isn't dead. This kid is willing to deceive the whole world for you.
What exactly is the relationship between you two? Where is my disciple?" The Azure Wave Deep Cold was his concoction, and ever since he heard about
Li Mochou , he had been concerned. He was also worried that his young disciple would be at a disadvantage, because all his pills were on Lu Wushuang,
and even his own daughter didn't know.

"Grandmaster, please let me explain," I said anxiously.

"You don't need to explain. Don't try to fool me with lies." Huang Laoxie raised his palm and struck, using the move "Moonlight Shadows" to target my left chest's
Qimen acupoint.

I was embarrassed. He asked me a question, but wouldn't let me answer. This old man was really strange. Seeing Huang Laoxie's fierce attack,
I was so frightened that I quickly dodged.

"Yang Guo!" Li Chuqing saw her lover being attacked and went back to the house to get her sword to help.

"Even if your ancestor came, I would still fight today, let alone your little bit of skill." Huang Laoxie was even
less polite . Seeing the opening in her sword technique under her arm, he flicked his finger and Chuqing fell to the ground.

I was shocked, but I took the opportunity to grab Chuqing and jump out of the battle. The combination of Dugu Nine Swords' ability to find weaknesses, coupled with Huang Yaoshi's
Finger Flicking Skill, meant that in the martial world, aside from old monsters like the Old Urchin who had practiced for seventy or eighty years, who could withstand such a stone?

"Wushuang is fine now. She accompanied Miss Cheng Ying north to Mount Hua," I said, seizing the opportunity. Li Chuqing lay fearfully in
my arms, her eyes conveying: You're no match for him, run! I shook my head and whispered to her to calm down.

"Then what happened to her?" Huang Yaoshi pointed at Li Mochou, still lying in my arms.

I thought to myself that this matter would eventually come to light, and gritted my teeth, saying, "She's my lover..."

"Haha...lover? What about Fu'er? You heartless, fickle brat, I'll teach you a lesson today.
Where's your Xuan Tie Sword?" Huang Yaoshi disregarded etiquette and law throughout his life, but he valued love above all
else, as evidenced by his decades-long silence since his beloved wife's death. Now that his granddaughter had been wronged, how could he not be furious?

Hearing him say it was just a lesson, it seemed I wouldn't die today. I bowed and said, "Then please give me your guidance, Master."
I knew my own abilities were questionable; I didn't dare be presumptuous. I drew my Xuan Tie sword, bowed, and thrust it
forward with lightning speed. The heavy Xuan Tie sword transformed into a dark cloud of lightning, accompanied by a thunderous sound, reaching Huang Yaoshi in the blink of an eye.

"Well done." Although Huang Yaoshi was angry at Yang's character, judging from this sword strike, the boy's understanding of swordsmanship
had reached a high level.

My sword strike was not only flawless, but I also maintained stillness within movement, my whole body exceptionally relaxed. Once I launched a preemptive attack, forcing
Huang Yaoshi to respond, that would be the moment I unleashed my thunderous strike.

Huang Yaoshi nodded secretly. This brat's talent was far superior to that fool Guo Jing. His
comprehension was probably even better than his own back then. That series of extraordinary encounters even made a grandmaster like him, who had stood at the pinnacle of
the martial arts world take notice.

My heavy sword's thrusts, jabs, parries, swings, and sweeps, seemingly casual and simple, perfectly embodied the profound truth of swordsmanship: the greatest truths are simple, and the greatest
skill is boundless. Huang Yaoshi's skills, whether it was the Jade Flute Swordplay, the Whirlwind Sweeping Leaves Leg Technique, the Falling Flower Divine Sword Palm, or his most
prized Five Transformations of the Mysterious Gate, all contained the element of illusion. Unless he used only his Finger Flicking Divine Skill, or played a tune of Azure Sea Tide to directly stun
me, even if he had sixty years of internal energy, he wouldn't have an easy time.

Huang Yaoshi had suffered a setback at the hands of the foolish Guo Jing during the second Mount Hua Sword Tournament. He knew he couldn't afford to give way, otherwise, if
he couldn't even defeat one of his own grand-disciples, he would truly lose face. The more he thought about it, the more he tried different fist techniques, more than ten in a row, but
he still couldn't regain the initiative. Even with his Ling'ao Steps, he couldn't escape the aura of the Xuan Tie Sword; this sword was truly
bizarre. After thirty moves, I suddenly unleashed a strange move, my stance shifting dramatically, my palms flashing, my attacks incredibly fast. I almost
became a blur, drifting using the Five Elements Earth Escape Technique.

Now, even if I ignored Huang Yaoshi and focused solely on my Xuan Tie Sword Technique, I couldn't catch his
erratic movements. After another fifty-odd rounds, I felt my breathing quicken, as if a mountain was pressing down on me. Stars flashed before my eyes, and
I could barely withstand the onslaught.

Huang Yaoshi's attacks were incredibly fast and powerful, though brief, much stronger than before. I felt like I
was chasing the wind , my hands growing weak with exhaustion, finding it increasingly difficult to defend. I lost all the balance I had painstakingly built, falling completely into
a passive position. I considered abandoning my sword and using the Eighteen Subduing Dragon Palms to fight Huang Yaoshi, but all my skills combined
couldn't match the advantage of the Xuan Tie sword. If I abandoned my sword, I might as well surrender.

I was caught in a dilemma, and Huang Yaoshi was truly enraged. A misty aura rose above his head, clearly indicating he was using a superior internal energy cultivation
technique . He had initially thought my Xuan Tie sword was exceptionally heavy, and even if I could wield it, my stamina wouldn't last long. He believed that by using
the Five Revolutions of the Mysterious Gate Divine Skill, he could quickly force this brat to abandon his sword and admit defeat. But he hadn't expected my internal energy to be so enduring; we had fought fiercely
for over a hundred rounds in the blink of an eye, and I was still holding on. Should he just kill me? Aside from not wanting to please his daughter and grandson, this
brat had indeed helped him greatly. From any perspective, he couldn't really do anything to me.

I knew that if this dragged on, I would undoubtedly be defeated in less than a hundred moves. The Eastern Heretic's Five Elements Technique left me with nowhere to draw strength. I
was frantic with worry ; abandoning my sword or not, both led to certain defeat, leaving me in a dilemma. In this perilous moment, I vaguely
caught a glimpse of inspiration, but the situation was too dire for me to consider what that inspiration might be. Forced into a corner,
I thrust out my Xuan Tie sword obliquely, chasing shadows without regard for the Eastern Heretic's location.

"Huh?" This seemingly unintentional strike surprised the Eastern Heretic slightly. "Good lad, I never
thought you practiced the Dugu Nine Swords, yet you have such an understanding of this sword technique." Huang Yaoshi chuckled, surprised that I had forced him to use it first.
I unleashed the Nine Swords of Dugu. Whether I was driven to desperation or using my swordplay to remind myself of the favors I'd received and
the debt I owed him, Huang Yaoshi was still capable of such actions. Others thought a grandmaster couldn't do it, but he could.
My actions only fueled his fighting spirit; instead of relaxing his grip, he intensified his attacks.

I inwardly groaned, realizing my miscalculation. I'd forgotten Huang Yaoshi was extremely proud, and my cleverness had backfired. Faced with
his fierce onslaught, I was once again forced to switch from offense to defense. I only knew the principles and intent of the
Nine Swords of Dugu; I hadn't thoroughly studied the general formula and the nine sword techniques. After defending for another thirty-odd moves, my inner energy could no longer sustain me. Huang Yaoshi struck
my sword's spine , followed by a kick to my left shoulder. With a "bang," I crashed into my own courtyard wall, eyes closed.

"The clouds change in countless ways, but the wind rises from them all." I coughed up a mouthful of blood as I sat on the ground, and in that instant as I closed my eyes and collapsed, I suddenly understood the
so-called
principle of using stillness to control movement, and striking first after the opponent has moved. So that's how it is. Capturing the aura and the movement of water are all the basis for predicting the opponent's next move. With this thought, I tossed aside the black iron sword in my hand, picked up a wooden sword I had carved myself, and
faced Huang Laoxie directly without

opening my eyes. Huang Laoxie sneered slightly, taking this as a trick of mine. He secretly praised this kid for being a tough nut to crack,
but seeing me pick up a wooden sword and provoke him with my aura, he became even angrier. Although he had just kicked me until I
coughed up blood, he had actually held back some of his strength. If I had just admitted defeat and apologized to him, he would have spared me.
However, once Huang Laoxie got really angry, he didn't care about hurting me anymore, and his entire body's energy directly collided with my outward aura.

Old Huang easily broke through my protective aura, thinking to himself that this kid was indeed using a feint. He struck at my ribs;
if the blow landed, I would at least lose a rib. Li Chuqing, unable to speak or move due to her acupoints being sealed, watched me remain still and
whimpered anxiously, unable to even move a finger. Tears streamed uncontrollably from her eyes as she desperately tried to channel her internal energy to break through the sealed acupoints. However, her internal energy
foundation was shallow, and in her current agitated state, the backlash from her internal energy
caused blood to well up in her eyes, mingling with her tears, but this went unnoticed by the old man and young man locked in fierce combat.

Just as Old Huang's palm was about to strike, I twisted my waist, my body moving at an incredible angle, dodging this earth-shattering palm strike
. Old Huang was greatly surprised, thinking, "Could this kid be practicing the Yi Jin Jing? How can he coordinate his muscles and
bones to such a resilient degree?" He remained defiant, closing in on me, unleashing eight strikes of the Falling Flower Divine Sword Palm simultaneously
. I kept my eyes closed, a smile playing on my lips, dodging
Huang Yaoshi , like a slippery eel, impossible to catch.

I was smiling because I had finally seen the gate to that realm. Since entering the Innate Realm a dozen days ago, I
had been pondering the path of my future cultivation. This sudden realization of my movement technique was like unyielding flowing water; no matter how much force
was applied can't cut water with a knife; the highest good is like water, adaptable to any shape.
" This understanding, though seemingly simple, was the culmination of my years of military service, years of diligent practice after my rebirth, and even the extraordinary encounters of the Western Poison's
transmission of power and the Divine Condor's gift of elixirs—all contributing to my current state.

Huang Yaoshi attacked for thirty-seven moves but couldn't even touch the hem of my clothes, while I kept my eyes closed and didn't retaliate once.
Huang Yaoshi was surprised, knowing he wouldn't gain any advantage today. He snorted, flicked his sleeves, and stopped fighting.

I knew I had escaped a calamity today, and I wiped the blood from my mouth and sat on the ground, panting heavily.

"You brat, you've dodged a bullet today," Huang Yaoshi said reluctantly.

"Thank you for your mercy, Master." I knew my own limitations. Although Huang Yaoshi used his signature move, the Five Revolutions of Qimen,
he didn't take advantage of his superior skill to bully others. Otherwise, with the Azure Sea Tide Song, I and Chu Qing would probably be in grave danger.

"Hmph, I don't want you to have a pretext to say I used the skills you gave me to fight you." Although Huang Yaoshi's anger had subsided somewhat,
he still harbored resentment towards my strange movement technique. He was unaware that the movement technique was
based on my sword practice in the mountain torrent and my three-day swim in the Yangtze River, so he had never considered using true qi in such a way. "What's
the deal with your movement technique?" Huang Laoxie vaguely remembered that the old poison master had a set of spirit snake fist techniques and my own movement technique, which had some similarities.
However, as the saying goes, different paths lead to the same goal, and I never expected that I had actually combined the spirit snake fist techniques with the "golden snake steps" of the later Golden Snake Gentleman
into my movement technique.

"When I was in the Sword Tomb, I was thrown into the mountain torrent by the Divine Condor to practice swordsmanship, and I gained some insights. Just now, I suddenly had a flash of inspiration and used it.
It's not yet fully developed, so please give me
some ? But this time I've learned my lesson. I can no longer give Huang Laoxie new inspiration,
who is so ungrateful. Otherwise, if he ever dislikes me again, I'll be in big trouble.

Huang Laoxie snorted and said nothing more. "I won't interfere in your affairs, but if you dare to wrong Fu'er, I'll chase you to
the ends of the earth and kill you."

"This disciple wouldn't dare..." I thought to myself, if you knew I'd eaten your disciple too, I wonder if you'd just drag me
out and flick my little brother to death... "This is the general manual of the Nine Yin Manual. Take it, so you won't have to say I owe you a
favor again." Huang Yaoshi took out a few sheets of paper from his robes and threw them into the air, then flew out of the courtyard and disappeared in the blink of an eye.

Chapter Fifty-Eight: First Learning of the Nine Yin Manual, Healing in the Secret Chamber Turns Misfortune into Fortune;
Ten Months of Pregnancy, Yang's Eldest Daughter Descends to the Mortal World.

I was stunned, catching the martial arts treasure that landed smoothly from the air. Didn't Huang Yaoshi swear he wouldn't learn the Nine Yin Manual? I
didn't know that this was precisely what Huang Yaoshi had asked his daughter for on my behalf. Huang Rong thought she would pass this technique on to me sooner or later, so she did
her father a favor and gave it to him.

I didn't think about it any further, but when I turned around to look at Chu Qing, I was startled. "Qing'er, what's wrong with you?" Li Chuqing
's snow-white front was covered in peach blossom-like spots, a result of the reversed internal energy circulation. But what shocked me most was
the bloody tears streaming from her eyes, and blood seeping from each of her seven orifices.

"I... Yang Lang..." Li Chuqing's internal energy was disordered, and she called out weakly.

"How could this happen? We need to go to the clinic!" I exclaimed in alarm, ready to carry her to the clinic.

"No, the toxins accumulated from my Crimson Refining Palm technique over the years have entered my brain; I'm afraid I won't live much longer..." Li Chuqing
shook her head.

"No, it won't..."

"What happened?" Third Sister returned with Ru Shi and Xiao Lü after shopping. Seeing the mess in the courtyard and Li Chuqing lying there,
nestled in my arms, she was shocked. She dropped the things and ran over.

"Island Master Huang came..." I said calmly, but was I truly at peace?

Third Sister remained silent, knowing that this outcome was almost inevitable, yet she hadn't expected that she and Ru Shi would escape this calamity while shopping.

"It's all fate... I can't blame anyone. Island Master Huang didn't hurt me too badly. It's all fate... I've been so happy to serve my husband for
so many more days, and it's made me forget that I'm the ruthless
female demon... These days, I've eaten and slept well... But, I'm afraid God wants to take me... I can't escape it.
Don't blame others, don't make things difficult for Fu Mei and Wu Shuang... and don't... go looking for Island Master Huang..." She didn't care about Guo Fu's
feelings , but she saw that I couldn't defeat the Eastern Heretic in less than twenty years, so she didn't want me to be
hurt for her sake.

As Li Chuqing grabbed my collar and gave her instructions, I heard a rustling sound inside my clothes. I remembered that
the Nine Yin Manual contained a section on healing that could bring the dead back to life. I quickly pulled it out and sure enough, it was there. "Qing'er, don't sleep!
Your husband has a plan! Don't sleep, please don't sleep! Yin'er, Chuqing and I need to go into seclusion to heal. We can't be disturbed for seven days.
Prepare water and dry food for us. No matter who comes, stop them. Even if it's my elder brother, stop him too. Just say it's
a matter of life and death, and put everything else aside." I saw a bluish-black mark appearing on Chuqing's forehead, knowing the poison was about to
spread, and hurriedly called out. The last two sentences were for Third Sister.

Seeing how serious I was, Third Sister nodded to show she understood and then pulled Rushi and Xiaolu to pack up and prepare.

I carried the somewhat delirious Chuqing into the bedroom, but I was hesitant. Chu Qing's consciousness was already somewhat blurred
, so I had to expend a great deal of my true energy to seal her eight extraordinary meridians, hoping to stop the spread of the poison, but Li Chu Qing still
didn't regain consciousness. At this moment, Third Sister had brought in all the prepared items. "Yin'er, you've both worked so hard... There's been
too much time, I didn't have time to explain to you, but don't worry, I'll explain in detail after I come out of seclusion." I instructed again that
no one should disturb them, otherwise both of them would be in danger of qi deviation.

"Don't worry, don't worry about us, heal Chu Qing quickly, I'll go out first." Third Sister was indeed a virtuous and capable elder sister.
Although she was worried and had many questions, she didn't want to trouble her man in this crucial moment, and considerately
didn't ask any more questions.

After Third Sister left, I cut my and Chu Qing's fingers and used two drops of blood to do a basic blood type test. Fortunately, Chu
Qing was also blood type O, which matched mine. Because the biggest hope for saving Chu Qing is my own blood… Although I am sentimental, this
is my biggest flaw, and also my greatest weakness in life. You can say I have low emotional intelligence, but I don't care. How can I be called a qualified soldier if I don't even have the resolve to risk my life on the edge of
a blade ? Besides, I've already died once, so as long as
there's a glimmer of hope, I won't give up.

I'm going to take a huge gamble, to see if fate will make us both die, or let us both live. It turns out that snake gall can
neutralize toxins, but it can't completely prevent them; otherwise, my counterpart in another timeline wouldn't have been tormented by the Love Flower Poison. I
want to use my own blood to neutralize the toxins in Li Chu Qing's body, and then slowly dissipate the poison with my innate constitution. Then,
after Li Chu Qing wakes up, I'll teach her the healing techniques from the Nine Yin Manual.

Will this work? I have no idea. But this is a desperate measure; what else can I do? I
don't know the One-Finger Divine Skill or the Innate Skill, and Master Yideng is thousands of miles away. Even if there are famous doctors in Lin'an City, they might not be able to cure this
complex illness involving the brain, let alone the average worldly doctor who knows how to treat these internal injuries. Otherwise, I wouldn't risk two lives. To deal with special circumstances, I even prepared
a bottle of Nine-Turn Dragon Snake Pill that I had taken when I fought Zhao Zhijing last time , just in case. At this moment, I was thinking that after healing Chu Qing's injuries, I might as well take some of the Dragon Liver and Phoenix Brain from the Lin'an Imperial Palace. I cut the radial artery in my left hand and the radial vein in my right hand with Chu Qing, and put the wounds together, using internal force to compress the blood flow. The blood started from my Hand Shaoyin Lung Meridian, passed through Chu Qing's Hand Yangming Meridian into the Governing Vessel, and then from the Governing Vessel into the radial vein of the Hand Shaoyin Heart Meridian. In this way, the congested part of Chu Qing's brain would form a local vacuum, and the vacuum would draw the toxic blood back into the Governing Vessel. I dared not let my blood flow too quickly, fearing that Chu Qing's weak body couldn't withstand it. I spent two hours circulating my internal energy to replace her blood, and when Chu Qing woke up, her complexion had returned to its fair state. When she opened her eyes , she found that my arms were blackened, and the arteries protruding from my skin were a strange blue light. "No! Are you crazy? You 'll die like this..." Chu Qing immediately understood the situation when she saw our position and struggled to break free. "Don't let your qi and blood fluctuate... otherwise we're both finished. Be quiet now!" I tried my best to control my emotions, but I was also startled by Chu Qing's extremely dangerous movement and couldn't help but speak a little harshly. I suddenly sensed through my true qi that deep within her internal organs, there was a faint medium, something like a parasite that obviously shouldn't be in the human body. Chu Qing then realized that if she struggled any longer, she would only kill herself. She sobbed softly, "My death is nothing to regret, but why are you doing this? How could you be so foolish?" "Fool, who said we'd die? We'll both live to be a hundred." Seeing she wanted to continue, I quickly interjected , "Alright, now's not the time to dwell on this. I've discovered something new. Try circulating your qi to your fourth and see what you feel." I described what I had discovered. Li Chu Qing was slightly startled. This was the chronic illness that had plagued her for over a decade. Without me saying anything, she knew there was a serious problem with her internal energy. After listening to her describe the symptoms, I shook my head and said, "No, I don't think it's a problem with your internal energy. I'll try to find to force it out for you. Bear the pain and don't move." Chu Qing nodded worriedly. She knew that her lover had more authority on internal energy matters than she did, and she trusted that I wouldn't harm her. The strange substance in the blood seemed to have a tangible form yet also an intangible one. I used all my strength, employing my rather frantic blood exchange technique, to force it out along with the blood, which I then casually tossed onto the ground. My focus was entirely on healing Chu Qing, and I didn't...

Time didn't bother to figure out what it was, and gently asked, "Are you feeling better now?"

"Hmm... but my head is still a little dizzy, and my vision is blurry..." Chu Qing said.

"That's probably because the residual poison hasn't been cleared, or the blood is pressing on your optic nerve," I muttered softly, then continued, "
We 'll be in seclusion together for seven days. We'll definitely be able to resolve all your internal injuries and hidden dangers, so don't worry, you'll get better!" While
bandaging Chu Qing's wounds, I transmitted the healing manual to her, explaining some of the more obscure parts.
I had practiced the Bone Forging Manual for two years and was familiar with the Taoist terminology in the true scriptures, so these details were no problem for me.

"The internal energy of your Crimson Refining Palm is ultimately a hidden danger to your body. I want to take this opportunity to help you neutralize it." After successfully neutralizing the poison,
I flicked my hand, throwing a pool of black blood against the wall, and took three Nine-Flower Jade Dew Pills and one Nine-Turn Dragon Snake Pill, swallowing them as I
spoke .

Chu Qing said, "Well, alright, it's still a side skill, and it's easy for people to recognize it..."

"Won't you regret it?" I sat cross-legged, intending to recover some of my inner energy, and tentatively asked.

"With you protecting me from now on, what do I have to fear?" Chu Qing said with a smile.

"Phew... every cloud has a silver lining. Perhaps this is your chance to achieve unparalleled skill." I thought to myself
: I only dare to pass on unparalleled skill to you because you can see things this way. After all, there's the precedent of Huang Yaoshi, which should serve as a warning for
future . What if Chu Qing turns back into Li Mochou again? How would I face that?

"Unparalleled skill? What is that?" Chu Qing was initially a little disappointed, but now she suddenly became interested.

"Ha, don't be in such a hurry to ask. Promise me that you will never use this skill to do anything reckless in the future." I decided to make her make
a vow.

“If you don’t trust me, I won’t learn it. Anyway, I’ll stay by your side from now on and won’t go anywhere else.” Chu Qing bandaged
the wound on my wrist. Hearing me say this, her eyes dimmed. She knew that her past actions had made her
wary.

“What if your enemies recognize you and beat or kill you?” I thought that since I had to sit for seven days and seven nights
anyway , I might as well try to comfort her.

“If they can’t beat me, I’ll run away. If I can’t run away, I’ll let them kill me.” Chu Qing thought I was deliberately making things difficult for her and
was unhappy. Her tone became annoyed.

“Silly girl, if women have to take the lead in these things, what’s the point of having a man like me?” Even though I said this, I
was determined to only teach Chu Qing the internal energy cultivation part. What kind of man can’t keep an eye on his own woman? I was confident that I could control
my woman.

“Hmm…” Chu Qing felt a warmth in her heart. Although she was angry that I didn’t trust her, she thought about her past actions and realized that she
was indeed not trustworthy. She was less resistant.

For seven days straight, the two of us faced each other, palms pressed together, practicing our internal energy to heal our injuries. Whenever we were hungry or thirsty, we'd grab something to eat or
drink. When we weren't in a meditative state, I'd tell Chu Qing about my past experiences, and our relationship grew
even closer.

Chu Qing's injuries gradually stabilized, and her vision returned to normal, which finally put my mind at ease, even though I was exhausted. But this
wasn't the end of it. The poison and internal energy within Chu Qing's body were now melting away like ice and snow under the heat of my pure Yang internal energy, disappearing
without a trace . Since her old injuries hadn't fully healed, I was worried about her weakened state and her susceptibility to colds, so I decided
to seize this opportune moment to open her vital energy barrier. Why was this the best time to open her blood vessels? Because
I had neutralized all the true energy within Chu Qing's body, while her meridians, honed by twenty years of diligent practice, were wide and resilient. With my full effort,
it would be a natural process.

Ignoring my own exhaustion, I secured Li Chuqing in a position with her palms facing upwards. I placed one hand on her Dazhui
acupoint and the other on her Baihui acupoint, circulating qi through her body. I was only physically exhausted from seven days and nights of sleepless nights;
my internal energy was still abundant, which is why I dared to make this decision. When I finished, I was
drenched in sweat , my lips pale, clearly indicating significant depletion.

"Yang Lang, you look terrible. Don't scare Qing'er." Chuqing woke up, turned around, and seeing my pale face, she was startled and
crawled over to me, letting me lean against her chest, asking softly.

"Hmm, I'm fine. It's nice to enjoy this treatment after all this hard work." I mischievously turned my head and took a deep
breath, enjoying the fragrance emanating from Chuqing.

"You're so frivolous, I was being serious..." Chuqing laughed and scolded, but still pressed her ample breasts closer to her
lover . "I'm sorry, you always have to go to so much trouble to save me. Could it be that I've done too many bad things in the past, so God
is punishing me?" Chu Qing

said, tears welling up in her eyes. "Don't talk nonsense. It is said that: 'Put down the butcher's knife and become a Buddha on the spot!' If you have a kind thought, you can become a Buddha in an instant, so how can there be any punishment
? These are all accidents, but as long as you and I believe in each other, nothing and no one in the world can separate us."
I said, holding Chu Qing's hand.

"Yes, Qing'er will never cause you trouble again, never again..." Chu Qing murmured sweetly, holding my head
in her arms .

"Strength is also very important. How are you feeling now?" I then remembered to ask if my efforts over the past half day had yielded any results.

"Hmm, although I don't know what its wonderful uses are, I do feel a powerful true energy, which connects to the Du
meridian . Is it really the legendary innate realm of the meeting of dragon and tiger?" Chu Qing asked in surprise. "Hehe, you will gradually experience its wonderful uses." That true energy was the one I had injected into Chu Qing's body

, using one-tenth of my own strength .
Even just one tenth of my internal energy was enough to exhaust me half to death, which makes me realize how great a
favor Ouyang Feng must have been to pass on two tenths of his internal energy to me back then. Thinking of this, I couldn't help but miss that crazy old man. If Old Man Ouyang knew that he was about to
have a successor , I wonder how happy he would be. "Let me rest for a while, and we'll study this together later." I tried
to take out the Nine Yin Manual from my pocket, but I accidentally took out the Plain Girl Manual that I kept close to my body as well.

Chu Qing blushed when she saw it and spat, "You're already half dead, and you still want to talk about this..."

My face also turned slightly red, and I said, "Not this one, the one below..." I handed the scroll of the manual below to Chu Qing.
Chu Qing took it but didn't look at it closely. Seeing that it was already evening, she said, "Let's go out first, so that my older sister
won't worry."

"Okay." I fed Chu Qing two Nine-Turn Dragon Snake Pills, and only after seeing that her energy had recovered a little did I feel relieved enough to get out of bed.
"Hmm?" I suddenly noticed the two pools of blood I'd flicked out seven days ago when I was healing. "Look at this! Your blood has so many
colorful . No wonder you're not fully recovered," I said, pointing to the foul-smelling green bloodstain on the wall.

Li Chuqing blushed and didn't know what to say. No wonder people called her heartless; it certainly lived up to the name
.

I then noticed that the bloodstain on the ground was even stranger. There were several mottled shadows in the dried blood, and
even I couldn't figure out what those strange impurities were.

"Husband, you and Chuqing are out. Is your sister alright?" Third Sister, who had been waiting in the next room,
quickly put down her needlework and ran over to ask when she heard us open the door.

Chuqing smiled, indicating that she was fine, and happily took Third Sister's arm. I noticed that Third Sister's eyes were slightly bloodshot,
and I knew she had been living a life of anxiety these past few days, probably even more tormented than we were. My heart ached for her, and ignoring Chu Qing
's presence beside her, I pulled Third Sister into my arms. "My silly darling, you've been
keeping watch here these past two days, haven't you? I'm so sorry, it's all my fault. I didn't explain things clearly beforehand, making you worry about us for so many days.
Can your body handle it?" I asked, touching Third Sister's still flat stomach.

"It's alright, it's alright… Otherwise, Ru Shi and I would have been doing some needlework. She's been keeping watch all
day Since your Third Brother Mo is here, and they know each other, I asked Ru Shi to go and greet me. Xiao Lü was here just now; I just
sent her to prepare dinner." Third Sister quickly recounted what had happened at home these past two days. Mo San had arrived earlier that morning.
Third Sister didn't know my plan, so she had instructed Ru Shi beforehand not to reveal anything about the Cloud Dream Mirror.

"Hmm, with my precious Ruyin as our head housekeeper, how could anything go wrong?" I was quite satisfied with Third Aunt's actions. I kissed her forehead
and said, "These past seven days have been exhausting. I'm afraid you and Rushi have been just as worn out. Let's
send Big Brother away soon, have dinner, and get some rest." I sighed wearily. It was my fault for getting involved with Mo San
, and the mirror-making business involved our whole family; we had to be careful about our livelihood for the foreseeable future.

"You two smell terrible! I'll go tell Greenie to boil some water for you," Third Aunt said with a smile
, covering her nose as she pulled Chuqing towards the kitchen.

I sighed inwardly, thinking I couldn't risk my life again. I
had . If something went wrong this time, I didn't know what would happen to Rushi. Maybe she'd be heartbroken for a year or two and then
remarry? Perhaps. What about Fumei? It's hard to say; it might take three to five years to fully recover. But what about Third Sister?
What about me and her child? What will become of this woman who sees me as her everything, her entire life?
What would a woman do after the world collapses? I dare not think about it, but she certainly would… So, I am no longer that carefree bachelor; I
have gradually built a home, a complete family.

“Guo’er, when I was cleaning up that pool of blood on the floor just now, I discovered something,” Third Sister
said softly while massaging me outside the bathtub.

“You discovered it too? I don’t recognize what it is. Hmm…” I finally felt like I had recovered. Although I could still hold on mentally after seven days
without sleep , I was completely exhausted, both physically and mentally. Enjoying the hydrotherapy massage, with Chu
Qing washing me in the tub, this royal treatment made me groan comfortably. I wasn’t surprised to hear Third Sister say this;
it seemed she knew something. I gestured for her to continue. Li Chu Qing was also concerned about what was wrong with her body
and listened attentively.

“In Dali, there’s a tribe called the Wuxi, who also call themselves the Black Miao. The Black Miao people love using all sorts of Gu magic…”
Third Sister sighed.

I suddenly realized, “He Ruanjun is a Black Miao?”

“She should be, because only the Black Miao know how to make this Three Corpse Gu. Although other tribes also have some shamans who know this art,
the Black Miao’s Gu magic is the most domineering.” Third Sister sighed, her face pale. Although she didn’t say it, I knew she was thinking of
the deceased Wu Santong.

“I understand now, Zhan Yuan was bewitched by her back then…” Li Chuqing suddenly murmured.

I wasn’t jealous of the two dead men. People say there’s no smoke without fire, and flies don’t land on eggs without cracks. From this point of view,
Wu Santong and Lu Zhanyuan both deserved to die. But I understood in my heart that Lu Zhanyuan, Li Mochou, and even Wu Santong were all
bewitched, which led to this mess. What a He Yuanjun, what a vicious and harmful woman! I
couldn't help but sigh, and secretly warned myself that I must be extremely cautious when dealing with Miao women in the future.

I quietly instructed them to clean the room thoroughly, leaving no potential problems. I went out to see Mo San myself. Liu Rushi, knowing her
man wanted to discuss serious matters, obediently excused herself and left.

"Hey, Third Brother, I heard you've been hiding in your room for seven days in seclusion? Studying bedroom arts to this extent, I'm truly impressed,
" Mo San said, bowing knowingly at my haggard appearance.

"Uh… what are you thinking, Brother? One of my darlings was injured, and we secluded ourselves for seven days to heal.
If I hadn't been worried you'd be waiting, I wouldn't have come out looking so disheveled." I unceremoniously plopped down opposite Mo San.
Unlike with Meng Gong and Yu Jie in front of me, I had no need to pretend with this scoundrel. "Let's get down to business. The fact that I urgently
invited you here shows we've struck it rich!" I whispered closer.

"What do you mean?" Mo San's eyes widened immediately upon hearing the mention of money, and he hurriedly asked.

"Ha, let me ask you first, have you brought the workers for the glass workshop I requested?" I asked, taking a sip of tea.

"Yes, I've brought them all. I've brought seven out of the fifteen operators, all from my hometown, trusted and
reliable . Third Brother, are you perhaps planning to start another business in Lin'an?" Mo San asked suspiciously.

"Big Brother, come with me." I said, beckoning Mo San to follow me to visit the mirror-making workshop.

"Hiss~~ Is this the treasure Third Brother spoke of? Could it be that this thing has some close connection with the glass?" Mo
San was quite surprised to see his own appearance so clearly recognized for the first time, and he stepped forward, pointing and examining it.

I chuckled inwardly, but continued, "Brother, what do you think of this? I've named this mirror 'Yunmeng Treasure Mirror,' and
packaged it in tin and silver. My glassmaking skills are only so-so, otherwise this mirror would be even clearer..."

"This...this mirror truly deserves to be called a 'Treasure Mirror for Rectifying One's Attire.' It is said that such things are valued for their rarity. And in this bustling commercial world..."
"With convenient transportation, Lin'an is the capital, so let them make the glass as big as they can. But the mirror-making formula must not be
passed on to them." Mo San, who had grown a mustache after two months, was strutting about with a flourish as
he spoke .

"Hmm, I have another idea. Once this mirror is around, it will naturally trigger a series of chain reactions in commerce."

"Brother, wait! What do you mean by chain reactions?" Mo San interrupted, suddenly hearing another new term.

"Uh… it's like a chain. If you pull it, many new industries might be pulled out along with it.
For example , with the new makeup mirror, women will spend more time trying on clothes, applying makeup, and putting on powder in front of the mirror every day. We can then focus on
promoting our perfume, while also venturing into the clothing industry, using the readership of the Lin'an Times developed by Baiwei Bookstore to
guide . Brother San, don't you think we're going to be rich?"

I became more and more excited as I spoke, and Mo San's eyes lit up more and more as he listened. "Great! Let's join forces and go all out!" "

Hehe, I'll be in charge of coming up with ideas, and you, being the diligent one, will have to do the legwork." I laughed.

"Yeah, that's my responsibility as your older brother, otherwise I'd feel uncomfortable if you left me idle." "Mo San was
so was practically scratching his head in excitement. He thought to himself that since meeting this god of wealth, not only had his fortunes increased dramatically, but
he had also made a name for himself in Xiangfan. Now, the name 'Mo Bieqing' was known throughout the country, and recently several major merchants had personally come to
contact him. Without this good third brother, there would truly be no Mo San today, so he was determined to follow me.

The two of them also didn't forget to bring Meng Gong and Yu Jie along, writing letters to them to invite them to come to Lin'an to discuss their grand plan for making a fortune. At
Mo San's strong insistence, I accepted a property from the Mo family in Chaoyuanfang that he had gifted me. Mo San took over the temporary residence and turned it into
a workshop, specializing in the production and storage of glass.

I led my family in a grand procession to Shuangyuan in Chaoyuanfang. The name Shuangyuan was taken from the poem 'The rain-soaked path is covered with green grass, and the frost-covered garden is full of
red leaves .'" "A large courtyard covering several acres, with pavilions, terraces, ponds, and waterside pavilions, is nestled amidst the Maple Garden
's landscape. While it lacks the grandeur and opulent splendor of northern gardens, and the seamless beauty of Suzhou gardens where every step reveals a new vista
, it still reveals the designer's vision and unique ingenuity.

When Mo San handed over the land deed, I hesitated for a moment before instructing Third Sister to put it away. After seeing
Mo San off, who still had many things to arrange, a lingering doubt remained. Judging by the garden's scale, it would have cost at least two hundred thousand taels of silver. The Mo family
's favor was undeniably generous; I realized I had underestimated their strength. After all, Mo San and I had done things before our eyes,
whether it was a gesture of gratitude or a change in circumstances..." I accept this gift as an investment in the relationship. However,
the attitude of the Mo family head is intriguing. Is it that he doesn't value it? He's so generous right off the bat. Is it that he values it? From beginning to end,
only Mo San has been in contact with me directly. Is the old man still observing? Right now, I'm only
close to Mo San's lineage, or rather, to him personally. Although we're brothers for life, he's just a nominal future head of the family, and he still seems a bit
insecure. But then I smiled wryly. Spending so much time with my master, I've unconsciously picked up her habit of secretly calculating things,
wondering if I'm being schemed against. Will I be able to establish myself in Lin'an, or will I just be a passerby? If I rise to prominence,
people will naturally flock to me. "Flattery? If we really go back to Xiangyang, can we still occupy this garden? At worst, we can just return the land deed to
them."

Having resolved the immediate troubles, and after making some minor repairs and adjustments to the garden, the family settled down comfortably.
I no longer concern myself with the glass workshop's affairs; I simply set up a darkroom in the backyard of Shuang Garden specifically for mirror processing. Yu
Jie received letters from the two of them and came to Lin'an to join the festivities and prepare for the imperial examinations, thus also moving into a secluded villa in the northwest corner of Shuang
Garden . Meng Gong, having already begun managing military affairs and unable to leave, also asked Yu Jie to bring ten thousand strings of cash, as a one-tenth share.
In this way, we had an income of over ten thousand strings of cash each month, which I didn't inquire about much, handing it all over to Third Sister. A skilled accountant,
along with Ru Shi and Xiao Lü, managed the affairs.

My life at Shuangyuan was the most pleasant time in the past few years. I spent my days reading with Yu Jie, discussing
our insights, or with Mo San, inviting a few scholars from Lin'an to socialize. In my free time, I would sleep with
three beauties and practice dual cultivation techniques, which was not only enjoyable but also beneficial. Not only did my inner strength become increasingly refined, but the three women also became
more beautiful through my cultivation. It wasn't until San Niang's belly gradually swelled and her pregnancy symptoms worsened that this decadent lifestyle gradually subsided.
To avoid further upsetting Guo Fu, I dared not cause any more deaths, so Liu Ru Shi and Li Chu Qing usually kept me company at night, while Xiao Lü
stayed by San Niang's side, taking care of her needs.

"Mid-Autumn Festival is approaching again; in the blink of an eye, we've been in Lin'an for over half a year." "Third Sister was heavily pregnant at this time, and I was helping her walk along the corridor, making her
a little unsteady.

'Hmm, I wonder if Sister Fu and Sister Lingbo will come back to celebrate the festival together,' Liu Rushi, who was supporting Third Sister on the other side,
asked. For the past few months, she had taken over Third Sister's position as housekeeper, not only managing the household affairs but also
coordinating the glass workshop with Mo San.

'Yesterday, Lingbo sent me a letter saying that the two of them were organizing the local Han people to migrate south in the Qinling Mountains, and it seems they won't be coming back.
But judging from their enthusiasm, that girl really follows our master's orders meticulously.'" "Chu Qing has practically become
their personal liaison, sending carrier pigeons to keep in touch every few days, though the two pigeons are probably the most exhausted. Since Li Chu Qing
started practicing the internal energy cultivation method from the Nine Yin Manual half a year ago, thanks to her advantage of having already entered the Innate Realm, her progress has been rapid. Not only is
her skill much purer than before, but she has also completely eliminated the hidden dangers left by practicing unorthodox techniques.

Although Guo Fu's anger has subsided, she has become addicted to playing around outside, running around in Jiangnan and Jiangbei, and has accomplished quite a few righteous deeds.
For example, in Xiangxi, the two of them helped the local people wipe out a bandit gang of about a hundred people; in Jiangbei, they assassinated
a Mongol commander; and now they have gone to the Dabie Mountains to find the local volunteer army resisting the Mongols. Although I can guess that Huang Yaoshi
is secretly protecting them, which is why they have been able to get by so smoothly despite their recklessness, I believe that in the near future,
the names of Yue Nu Sword and Lingbo Fairy will definitely become well-known in the martial arts world."

“Jade must be carved to become a gem. Fu-mei is too dependent on her family. Actually, she is smart and quick-witted.
It’s a pleasant surprise that she has developed such a decisive personality.” I didn’t want Guo Fu to be driven away by anyone, and instead
said .

"You... sigh!" Third Sister wanted to say something, but suddenly remembered that she was the root of the trouble, so she sighed and
said nothing more. Although Lingbo Xiaomei wrote that Fu'er was no longer angry, could she really be? Love and hate are
relative and interconnected. When a person no longer hates, it can only mean that she no longer loves, which is definitely not a good sign. "
Guo'er, do you think we should make a trip and bring Fu'er back? If... if something unexpected happens..." She wanted to say, "
If it's not possible, I'll move out first." But she felt that if she said that, others might think she was gossiping, so she changed
her words.

"Yes, I'll go out for a trip after the baby is born." I nodded in agreement.

Although I've been relaxed these days, I haven't fallen behind in my martial arts progress. Since my fierce battle with Huang Yaoshi, I've also
realized many of my shortcomings. Now, every full moon, I go to the banks of the Qiantang River to wait for the tide. I lived on Peach Blossom Island
for three years and knew that the tides were predictable, rising twice a day at noon and midnight. With the sun high in the sky, it must be high tide again.

I stood on the rocks by the sea, gazing at the vast ocean, watching the surging waves, my heart filled with mixed emotions of worry and joy. Not long after, I heard the distant roar of the
tide, like muffled thunder, continuous and relentless. The sound grew louder and louder,
booming . A white line rushed towards the shore, its force far surpassing thunder and lightning
; such power existed between heaven and earth! My face paled. "Damn, this tide is indeed much bigger than last month's! If it reaches noon, it
will be deadly!" I remembered hearing in my previous life that the Qiantang River tide reached its maximum on the fifteenth of August. Although I had been swimming
for several months to acclimatize, this tide was truly formidable. In an instant, the tide was upon me, seemingly about to crash onto the rocks.
I leaped into the towering white waves with a splash. I immediately executed a powerful downward throw, firmly
anchoring . I paused briefly, a plan forming in my mind: "This is the thrill! What
progress can I make hiding underwater?" With a powerful push, I burst out of the water, a gust of wind hitting my face, followed by a massive wave crashing down on me. I pushed off the wave with my left arm
, leaped over it, took a deep breath, and plunged back to the riverbed. I repeated this breathing exercise until the tide subsided, and I
emerged ashore as if nothing had happened. That night, at midnight, the tide came in again. You took your wooden sword and leaped into the white waves, wielding it. But you felt the force of the tide
coming from all directions, unlike the calm waters of the Yangtze River. Only when you couldn't withstand it did you dive to the bottom for temporary refuge.

Practicing twice a day, three to five days a month, in less than half a year, I felt I had made another breakthrough in swordsmanship, and the progress in my internal energy
was even more peculiar. Although the accumulation of quantity still relied on daily practice, the advantage lay in the long and continuous flow of energy. I truly
felt the benefits of my innate Dao body. When the tide receded, I would practice
the supreme swordsmanship of using a wooden sword to strike the trees in the woods outside the city, achieving a balance of lightness and heaviness. Over the months, the sound of the wooden sword striking the trees grew louder and louder, eventually becoming a booming sound
. After several months, the sound of the sword gradually subsided, finally falling silent. It seemed that I had achieved a
slight .

On this day, I was inspired to practice swordsmanship, starting with the Yang family spear and sword techniques, then moving on to the Quanzhen sword style, and finally to the forty-two-form Tai Chi sword
routine . This sword style was originally just a routine for daily physical exercise, not some profound martial art. But by this time, I was already
a semi-grandmaster-level martial arts expert, and naturally, I had gained many higher-level insights. A set of Tai Chi swordplay, initially subtle
and restrained, with its circular and square strokes, gradually became a unified whole as my understanding deepened. The starting and ending points of each move became indistinguishable,
yet the wooden sword was accompanied by the sounds of wind and thunder. If anyone were to witness this, they would be terrified by the sharp sword aura emanating from the sword and
retreat in fear.

I, however, was unaware of all this. I was simply focused on repeatedly experiencing that indescribable, supreme sword intent. The sword strikes
seemed random and unrestrained, yet they deeply embodied the Daoist ideal of transcending emotions and achieving nothingness, subtly echoing the Sword Demon
Dugu Qiubai state of "no moves are better than moves.

" I finished my practice and opened my eyes to find that the area within three zhang of me in the forest had been leveled. I knew it was because my skill
was not refined enough, and my sharpness was too great. Although its destructive power was extremely strong, its murderous aura was too heavy, inevitably causing it to fall short in terms of cultivation level.
Fortunately, I am not the kind of person who is stubborn and gets stuck on trivial matters. I know that cultivation level depends on comprehension and cannot be forced, so I waved my sleeves and went home...
Tonight is the Mid-Autumn Festival in August, and my brothers Mo San and Yu Jie, along with me, are enjoying the moon at Shuangyuan Garden. "It's a pity that Second Brother is too busy with official business
to enjoy such a leisurely life like us," Yu Jie said, pouring himself a cup of wine and taking a sip.

"Eldest Brother and I didn't say we were too busy to work. It seems that you're the only one who's idle." I tilted my head back, emptying the cup before
putting it back on the table.

"I heard from the news sent back from Xiangyang that the Mongols seem to be reinforcing their troops in Bazhong, intending to attack Chengdu this year
. I wonder if they can hold it this time." Mo San, having been involved in Xiangyang for many years and having a deep affection for the place, asked
me with some concern.

I frowned and said, "I already know this news, but the main reason M?ngke's generals have come with such a large force
is to capture the Jin emperor, and secondly, to survey the terrain and test the reaction of our Great Song. So, it can only be summed up in four words:
'We can still barely survive.' Now, most of Sichuan has fallen into enemy hands. The two passes of Mianzhu and Fuzhong might be able to hold off the Mongols
for a while , but what I'm most worried about is that they will bypass Chengdu through the Bashan Mountains and attack Jiangzhou Prefecture."

Yu Jie frowned and asked, "Wouldn't that be like waiting to be killed? Isn't there any other more proactive way?"

"What way can we do? The emperor above is incompetent, and the prime minister below is a scoundrel. Haven't you seen
those ? Besides drinking and talking about romance, how many of them do anything productive?" In the past six months, I've become accustomed to the corruption and decadence of Lin'an,
and I know that this emasculated court has no possibility of rising again. However, I knew I'd
been a bit too talkative after drinking. Seeing the melancholy and indignation in Mo San and Yu Jie's eyes, I couldn't help but advise, "That young Jin emperor is fleeing westward. Knowing my
master 's character, he'll definitely send someone north to intercept him. I believe this will be a pleasant surprise for everyone." I knew that historically, Lü Wende abandoned
Wei Weng and joined Shi Miyuan's faction. To curry favor with his new master, he would send Meng Gong north to intercept Emperor Aizong of Jin. Although Emperor Aizong was doomed
, the difference in advantage between one being proactive and the other reactive was significant. I was now gambling on whether Lü Wende was more lenient
or whether Huang Rong would seize the opportunity more accurately.

Yu Jie and I were now like birds separated from their flock in Lin'an. Apart from Mo San, our sources of information were limited. Besides receiving
regular letters from Xiangyang, we relied on Mo San to relay many things. Even so, news from the western front still needed to be relayed...
Many days passed, and eventually, the mood for conversation faded, and the chatter ended after a while.

I went to Third Sister's room. My first wife was now eight months pregnant. For the past few months, I had come over every night to coax Third Sister
to sleep , as women are most sensitive during pregnancy.

"To this day, I still can't believe I'm going to be a father," I said, half-lying on the bed,
stroking .

Third Sister didn't speak, only smiled and buried her head in my arms.

"I'm sorry..." I gently stroked Third Sister's hair and sighed, "I'm still so incompetent, making
a mess of everything. I've been hesitating for so long and still haven't been able to sort out my relationship with Fu'er. Actually, I understand what you mean, but I'm really hesitant
about whether to end things now... After all, she's still young, and maybe she can really find someone who's better to her."

Third Sister gently advised, "How could you understand a girl's thoughts? Especially Fu'er, she's been so stubborn since she was little, and she's
sacrificed so much for you. You can't just give up on her so easily."

"But..." I've been very troubled lately. My child is about to be born, but my mother doesn't even have a proper title. I
feel so sorry for Third Sister. In addition, life in Lin'an isn't going well, and I'm gradually hitting a bottleneck in my martial arts, which makes me feel
frustrated and lost.

Third Aunt struggled to sit up, leaning against the headboard, and sat beside me, saying, "I know you love
me the most, and you always put Yin'er's feelings first in everything you do. What more could I ask for? Think more about Fu'er; after all, my
past experiences have taught me what it feels like to be neglected. Promise me you'll bring her back soon."

"Yes, I'll set off as soon as our baby is born." I pulled Third Aunt into my arms, letting her lean on my shoulder,
and stroked her round belly as I spoke.

Third Aunt smiled and said, "I don't know if it's a boy or a girl. These past few days, Ru Shi, Qing'er, and Xiao Lü have been busy making handicrafts,
but they're all boy's designs..." I had already instilled in her the idea that boys and girls are the same, and Third Aunt knew that her
beloved was different in this way, so she didn't feel burdened at all.

"Then why not make a few? I can't let my daughter be born naked, can I?" I asked, slightly taken aback.

“The three girls meant well, saying it would bring bad luck and upset you. I made two myself, but I couldn’t keep up with
their speed. I just hope it’s a son.” Third Sister glanced at the man, watching my reaction.

“Hmm, I’ve been thinking about names for the child these past few days. But I don’t know if they’re good. Can you tell me?”

“Hmm!” Third Sister nodded.

“If it’s a boy, we’ll call him Jizong. If it’s a girl, we’ll call her Yilin. Yang is from my Yang family, and Lin is from the double
-wood forest . How does that sound?” I remembered my true identity, but the “Zong” referred to my family from my previous life. As for
naming my daughter Yilin, it wasn’t a romanticized reference to Jolin Tsai; it was simply because Third Sister’s family name was Lin.

“Jizong, Yilin?” Third Sister pondered the names repeatedly, finding them increasingly pleasant and easy to remember, and couldn’t help but
smile happily… After coaxing Third Sister to sleep with a sweet smile, I told Xiao Lü to be alert at night. Xiao Lü
nodded in agreement , and I left with peace of mind. I usually spend about ten nights a month with Third Sister, but she doesn't want Ru Shi and Chu Qing to
have any complaints about her, so she offers to let me spend more time with them. We've all gotten used to it.

Tonight, I originally wanted to stay with Third Sister, but she felt I'd already spent two nights with her, so she considerately
"sent" me out. I walked slowly towards Ru Shi's room. I know Chu Qing likes to sleep with someone and often tries to take advantage of
the situation. Now that Third Sister is pregnant, she's set her sights on Liu Ru Shi. So I don't even need to guess; I know
the two of them are definitely doing something in Ru Shi's room while I'm away, but I haven't restricted them too much. After all, these
women accept each other because they love me, which not only helps strengthen their relationship but also reduces
the number of times I have to "pay my dues."

I tiptoed to the window of Ru Shi's room and, sure enough, heard the soft rustling of clothes and muffled
moans coming from inside. I guessed they were probably playing around under the covers, either with blankets in their mouths or hiding there.

I knocked on the door and, without waiting for a reply, pushed it open and entered, saying, "Qing'er, what are you doing in Ru Shi's room so late?" Although Chu Qing enjoyed this kind of thing, and it had almost become an unspoken rule at home, this was the first time
they'd been caught red-handed without me present . The two girls immediately hid under the covers, too embarrassed to show their faces, but in their haste, their shapely buttocks were exposed outside the covers, and even their trousers couldn't hide their round, firm lines. I laughed and slapped each of them on the buttocks through their underwear, saying, "Ha...come out here. They say sisters working together can break gold, so why are you cowering like turtles now?" Chu Qing had been thinking about me these past few days, and now that I was making fun of her, she stubbornly crawled out from under the covers, saying, "This was my idea, don't bully Ru Shi, take it out on me...you know my flaws...can't you just give in a little..." As she spoke, she struck a pose as if I could kill or torture her at will. I smiled and pulled one of them down to lie down, saying, "I knew it, otherwise did you think you could fool me and bully my little darling? I would have given you three hundred lashes by now..." As I spoke, I gently breathed into Chu Qing's ear, and with my other hand, I gently kneaded her breasts. With just a little teasing, Chu Qing was already moaning softly, lost in her own desire, and couldn't help but twist and hug her man's waist, crossing her legs and writhing. Without further ado, I removed the few restraints from her body and lifted Chu Qing's legs, my massive penis plunging directly already soaked flower path. "My darling, watch your husband avenge you." "Mmm, husband... I, I missed you so much... You're so bad, you haven't paid any attention to me for days, I missed you so much that I could n't help it... mmm, mmm, mmm, I couldn't help but tease your little darling. Mmm... ah..." Chu Qing let out a soul-stirring moan, making Ru Shi blush, but she removed her robe and joined the fray, after all, she hadn't been loved by her husband in a long time. "Mmm, it's my fault, today I'll have my little husband make it up to you." As I spoke, I urged my dragon-spear forward, thrusting powerfully into Chu Qing's body. Ru Shi also straddled Chu Qing, adding to the excitement between us, while allowing my mouth to reach her breasts. "Ah...ah...no more...lost..." After more than three hundred powerful thrusts, Chu Qing let out a long moan, her hands tightly gripping...

She wrapped her arms around my back, her legs tightly clamping around my waist. She and Ru Shi had already been caressing each other for a while, but now, with my fierce,
powerful thrusts and Ru Shi's subtle, suggestive attacks from above and below, she was sent to a climax, only recovering after a long while.
She said shyly, "This…husband…I…didn't let you have your fill…"

I lovingly stroked Chu Qing's face, saying, "I've made you suffer these past few days, it's all my fault, all my fault, I haven't
cared for you enough." I gently kissed Chu Qing's cheek.

"Waaah…" Chu Qing cried, a little aggrieved and touched. "Alright, it's rare to be so happy tonight, my lord, go
kiss Ru , let me catch my breath."

Ru Shi's alluring eyes were an undisguised expression of her desire.

"Come, my little darling…let me kiss you." I reached out and pulled Ru Shi into my arms. "You secretly kissed Qing'er
without telling me, see how I punish you!" I unceremoniously shoved my thick tongue into Ru Shi's mouth.

"Ah...no, young master!" Ru Shi laughed and scolded, but still obediently kissed me.

"Ru Shi's little mouth is so sweet, and her little tongue is so hooked, it's hooked my tongue." After I released Ru Shi's little mouth,
I teased her again.

"You're so bad...you naughty young master, you bad young master!" Ru Shi complained coquettishly.

I thought to myself: Qing'er is gradually regaining her charming and innocent nature, probably because her inner knot is gradually untied.
I couldn't but feel happy for my beloved. However, Ru Shi was a bit spoiled
and willful because of her, not as gentle and obedient as before, and I couldn't help but have the urge to tease her.

I withdrew my lower body from Chu Qing's body and slowly rubbed it back and forth on Ru Shi's jade gate, teasing
the little bean on Ru Shi's jade pot... Ru Shi had experienced the pleasures of the bedchamber for months, and was already overflowing with passion. Being
teased like this, she couldn't bear it any longer. Tears welled up in her eyes, and she twisted her body, pleading, "Young master,
why are you like this... I don't want to come anymore... Hurry up... Please... It's so itchy..."

Seeing Ru Shi's tearful expression, I didn't want to tease her too much. "Then... will you dare to talk back to your husband again
, hmm?"

"I'm the best girl, so please don't tease Ru Shi." Ru Shi said.

"Hmm?... That's not right...?" I wasn't satisfied with this answer. "

I won't dare anymore, Ru Shi will definitely listen to Young master from now on." Ru Shi couldn't bear the torment any longer and surrendered.

"That's a good girl, your husband is coming." With a "plop," I thrust hard into Ru Shi's jade pot, which was already overflowing with spring water.

"Mmm, mmm...uh...ooh..." I pulled Chuqing over, my hands busy kneading her
breasts. My lower body moved rhythmically, sometimes fast, sometimes slow, sometimes nine shallow thrusts followed by one deep one, sometimes three shallow thrusts followed by one deep one, causing Rushi
to splatter fluids onto the bed.

After a night of diligent work, I finally satisfied both Chuqing and Rushi,
leaving

October 18th, I paced restlessly in the main room, hands behind my back, when I heard a commotion in the backyard. Chuqing, Rushi,
and Xiaolu were busy with the midwife and a group of maids. "It's been two hours, why hasn't it started yet..." I was both alarmed
and worried. It would be a lie to say I wasn't worried; in this era of scarce medical resources, the chances of complications during childbirth were
extremely high.

“Third brother, please sit down. Giving birth takes three to five hours; there's no point in rushing.” Mo San,
holding a teacup, advised.

I glanced at him sideways but didn't respond, thinking: You have several concubines, but you haven't reaped any benefits.
Now you're just talking without understanding the situation.

Before I could sit down, I heard a loud “whoosh” from the back room. A maidservant came trembling to report: “Master, Madam gave birth to a
little girl.”

I sighed inwardly, regretting it. Being a traditionalist, I still hoped for a son to inherit my surname.
But then I thought, there's no family planning these days; how many children we have is up to us. The most important thing is that mother and child are
safe . “Can I go in now?” I asked excitedly. The maidservant led the way, and I ignored Mo San still in the main hall, rushing towards the bedroom. I saw Ru Shi and Xiao Lü,

pale with exhaustion, emerging from the room first .
"Ru Shi, Xiao Lü, you've both worked so hard."

Ru Shi shook her head and said, "The midwife said that my elder sister is in good health and the delivery went smoothly, so we didn't suffer too much
. Husband, why don't you go in and take a look?" As she spoke, she sat down to rest on Xiao Lü's bed in the outer room.

I pushed open the door and entered the room. The room was dimly lit, and the doors and windows were sealed with thick paper, presumably to prevent any drafts. Chu Qing had already helped the midwife
clean the crying baby and was wrapping the child up. When she saw me come in, she couldn't help but smile at me and tapped my forehead,
saying, "You naughty thing, look how much you've done to your sister. Go and have a good chat with her."

I smiled slightly, took my daughter, and watched Chu Qing and the midwife leave with the wooden basin before placing the child beside my third aunt's
pillow. "Yin'er, you've suffered so much... Look, this is our daughter."

Third Aunt's face was drained of color, her once rosy lips trembling as she said, "I'm sorry, Yin'er's belly was
uncooperative , it's a girl..."

"What are you saying? A beautiful little girl, I'm too busy doting on her. Look at her little nose, her little eyes, so lively
! Her nose looks just like yours," I said, pointing to my daughter's nose.

This little girl was quite well-behaved. Seeing her parents staring at her, she stopped crying, just curiously observing us, looking at her father
one moment , then her mother the next, her bright, clear eyes sparkling with intelligence. Then, she
grabbed the finger I was pointing at her nose with her two little hands, wanting to put it in her mouth and suckle, making me laugh out loud.

Third Aunt was also amused by her newborn daughter's adorable antics, and said, "Linlin is hungry, let me feed her first."
Saying this, she unbuttoned her clothes and held the child to her chest.

I saw my beloved breasts, now even larger and more translucent like jade during breastfeeding, with even
the fine showing. "Baby, I want to taste them too," I said, leaning closer.

"You're not acting like a father, fighting with your daughter for the first meal," Third Sister scolded, giving me a reproachful look, but then shyly unfastened
the strap of her other garment. Another glistening breast bounced out from her snow-white bra, its scent mingling with
the faint smell of sweat from Third Sister, further stimulating my most primal desires. If I hadn't remembered that intercourse shouldn't occur immediately after childbirth, I probably would have…
I couldn't wait to cuddle with my beloved Third Aunt after so long. But my little darling didn't seem to like this
guy who was taking food from her, and even pushed her father's face with her little hand.

"Hehe, look how brave the child is, so cute." I looked up at Third Aunt with a bit of embarrassment.

Third Aunt had a smile on her lips, but her expression was full of weariness. I realized that Third Aunt had accumulated too much
fatigue , and said softly, "Yin'er, you've suffered these past few days. Take a good rest. I'll stay by your side and stay with you
. I won't go anywhere."

"Mmm." Third Aunt saw that our little darling had also closed her eyes, as if she had eaten and slept, so she held the child and lay down, reached out
and held my hand, and gradually closed her eyes and fell asleep...

Chapter Fifty-Nine: A Thousand Miles Westward Journey, Encountering the Eastern Heretic Chasing the Western Poison;
Lingbo in Trouble, Yang Guo Enters Zhongnan Mountain.

It was the fourth day of the twelfth lunar month, half a month after San Niang gave birth to her son. I received news from Xiangyang that Meng Gong had led
the Tiger Warriors north to intercept the last emperor of the Jin Dynasty, Emperor Ai. I knew Guo Fu would definitely join in the fun, so I bid farewell to the beauties, telling
them to stay home and take care of San Niang. San Niang's health had recovered quite well; she could already walk around. The three women vied to
accompany me to see the spectacle, but I thought about how Guo Fu had Huang Yaoshi by her side. Who knew if that old eccentric would act up again?

Today was my third day on the road. My destination was Hangu Pass, the throat of Guanzhong. Currently, the Mongols were concentrating
their forces in the west, attacking the Western Regions and the Sichuan Basin, which were collectively known as the Semu people. Therefore, Guanzhong had become
a buffer zone between the Song Dynasty and the Mongols. Emperor Ai of Jin wanted to take advantage of this gap and head west out of Hangu Pass to seek refuge with Islam.

Guo Jing naturally couldn't let them have their way. Capturing the last emperor of Jin was of extraordinary political significance. Personally, Yang Guo harbored
a deep grudge against Meng Gong for forcing his grandparents to their deaths, so both personally and professionally, I felt obligated to fulfill my duty to him. Ignoring the potential scandal, I
rode three horses in shifts, traveling day and night. After three days and nights of swift travel, I had already passed Xuchang. Historically, Meng Gong forced Emperor Aizong of Jin to commit suicide by burning himself in
Suizhou . However, now that I was here, I couldn't let this unfortunate sworn enemy get away with it so easily.

I found the Beggars' Sect's contact branch in Xuchang and received the news that Meng Gong, leading fifty elite warriors and
three thousand cavalry, had departed from the north gate of Xiangyang, crossed the defenses of Xinye and Nanyang, and was now resting in Biyang County, preparing to
launch a surprise attack on the Jin dynasty's descendants who had fled to Jiangxia.

Upon hearing this news, I didn't rest any longer, borrowed two good horses from the local officials, and headed south. In less than half a day, I reached
thirty li outside Jiangxia. I had just found a hiding place when I spotted my own men. It was Sergeant Xue Ba and
Wu Qing. "Company Commander!" they exclaimed excitedly as I jumped out of the shadows.

"Alright, alright, it's been over half a year, and you look much stronger. I heard you've both done a good job," I
said, shaking their arms. I had received a letter from Huang Rong informing me that the Tiger Legion had expanded to three hundred men, a
strict selection process to prevent spies from infiltrating. My own men had all been promoted, and my two trusted generals, each commanding
a hundred or so men, were probably ready for company commander rank.

Xue Ba, a smooth talker, was about to boast when I waved my hand and said, "Silence!" The three of us immediately hid behind the bushes
, and soon after, we saw a group of men enter the city through the west gate of Jiangxia Prefecture.

"Our entire battalion is mobilized this time. Lord Guo selected thirty reserve soldiers for us. These are
soldiers we all trained together. The intensity will definitely not be as much as what you put us through back then... Hehe..." Xue Ba, momentarily smug, blurted out his true feelings
. Wu Qing glared at him from the side, and he realized he had said the wrong thing and quickly changed the subject, saying, "Commander Cao is now in charge of training
General Meng's personal guard, and Staff Officer He is in charge of training those three hundred new recruits. Da Wu and Xiao Wu... Hehe... those two bastards got into trouble and were
sent to Sichuan to guard the border by the gang leader and Hero Guo. They also took more than a dozen brothers with them. It is said that this was all Commander Lü's idea
..." Xue Ba's smile was strange, but I understood the meaning behind it.

The night before I left Xiangyang, I added seasoning to Da Wu and Xiao Wu's pillows and blankets. I expected that after I left Xiangyang,
Da Wu and Xiao Wu would definitely move back from the barracks, and I knew that one of them had a habit of hugging his pillow to sleep, and the other liked to bite the
corner of his blanket... I guessed that they were sent to Sichuan because I had tricked them.

Furthermore, although Xue Ba didn't know why his brothers had scattered, the commanders of his Tiger Legion had all been separated.
When they drank with Chen Zhenyuan, He Qingshan, and others, he occasionally overheard them talking about checks and balances, and the saying "a big tail
can't be turned off ." Although he didn't understand what they meant, seeing their somewhat gloomy expressions, he knew it wasn't anything
good. So, while talking to me, he vented his anger on Da Wu and Xiao Wu. I, however

, knew perfectly well what was going on. I thought to myself: You, Lü Wende! You big idiot, what do you know about "a big tail can't be turned off"? However,
the environment under Chen and Qingshan was relatively relaxed, and Second Brother would naturally not mistreat my men. He Qingshan was also one of my loyal followers,
and he and Li Tianqiang were the best candidates to succeed Chen. These Da Wu and Xiao Wu, even in death, still have their own grudges, poaching my men and disgusting
me . I'll remember this debt, we'll talk about it later, I thought bitterly. But what could I do? I couldn't hit or scold my two
adopted sons, so I had to swallow this bitter pill. "Alright, Honglian and Baiou are family,
let them be." Although it was common knowledge that Da Wu and Xiao Wu were jealous of my senior brother, I still
had to . Who could blame me when those two were so shameless and managed to thrive? I had to admire their flattery
skills.

Xue Ba's smile was strange, his face contorted with embarrassment, and the other veteran team members beside him were also smiling ambiguously,
which made me feel a little uncomfortable, as if I had said something wrong. "What's wrong? Why are you laughing so strangely?"

"Haha... Company Commander, you don't know..." Xue Ba and a few of my old subordinates formed a circle, and Xue Ba lowered his voice to me
, saying , "Those two brothers both like that kind of thing... I heard from
the servants at the Guo mansion that they got drunk that night, and in the middle of the night, the two brothers were playing with their heads and tails intertwined. The gang leader happened to see them and almost beat them to death, haha... I couldn't hold it in anymore." Xue Ba led
a few people in laughing.

Hearing this made me feel nauseous, and thinking about that scene... sent chills down my spine... Could it be that I gave them too much medicine, so
they didn't have time to go out and find a maid, and they ended up taking care of themselves? No wonder Huang Rong didn't mention this in her letter; it seems I
disgusted her. I was really too unkind in handling this... But, given the cruelty of class struggle... uh...
Okay, I admit, I really like this effect; it's a real relief… Now, let's get back to the main topic. Xue Ba
reported to me the location of Meng Gong's troops and He Qingshan's plan: the first squad would storm the city gates at midnight, the second and third squads
would suppress the Jin army's central camp, and the three hundred reserves would follow, responsible for setting fire to the military warehouses and granaries in the city.

I laughed, "Hmm, even if I were to arrange it, it wouldn't be much different. However, I'm still worried that the rear guard won't be able to coordinate with the attack's
progress , so…" I took out a dagger from my pocket, peeled off a piece of bark, carved a secret order inside, and handed it to
Wu Qing, saying, "Take this order to Tian Qiang and tell him to act accordingly." I don't need to be polite with them; dare to bare your teeth at me?
I kicked him away.

Wu Qing took the order, nodded, and left.

I said again, "Let's go see the brothers in our second squad. Tonight, I'll lead you in a surprise attack on the enemy's central camp." Xue Ba was the second
sergeant, so he would naturally be the main force leading the attack tonight. I knew that besides myself, the Tiger Legion couldn't find another sharp blade, so to minimize
casualties, I naturally took on the role of leader.

"Company Commander, it's so good to have you here!" Xue Ba was already feeling uneasy, but now that his company commander, this killing god, was with him, it
would definitely be safer and bring even greater rewards. I

smiled slightly and followed Xue Ba for ten miles, arriving at the second and third squads' encampment. Everyone was overjoyed to see their old company commander return , and their initial tension disappeared. Among them were three or five new recruits who, after asking their friends, learned that the person in front of them was the miracle boy who led fifty Tiger Legions in a surprise attack on Shangyong City and burned down Fangling Port. They all rushed forward to talk to him. "Brothers, our old company commander has traveled two thousand li in four days, killing three horses in the process. How can we keep up this nonsense?" Xue Ba shouted . Everyone immediately fell silent. "Company commander, come rest here for a while. Even if you're made of iron, you can't keep up like this," Niu San quickly pushed through the crowd and led me to his seat. "It's alright, I'll recover a bit. Keep an eye on things for me, and wake me when it's time to set off at midnight," I said with a smile. " Leave it to me, Old Niu." Although Niu San had only been a soldier for less than a year, he and Xue Ba both exuded an of old age. Looking at them, I couldn't help but think of my comrades-in-arms from my past life, whom I had entrusted with life and death for. I smiled and said nothing more, then went to find a place to meditate. The moon was high in the sky when I woke up at midnight. The two squads, thirty-six men in total, divided into groups to cook. They arrived at the city walls at four in the morning, waiting for the fire to be lit on the walls and the city gates to open. Sure enough, less than ten minutes later, the south gate of Jiangxia City slowly opened. I glanced at the signal on the city wall and knew that the first squad had already taken control of the south gate. I waved my hand, ordering the second squad to maintain formation and enter the city, finding designated targets to set fire to. The remnants of the Jin army , exhausted from days of fleeing, were easily killed by the fierce warriors who charged into the city with crossbows dared to resist. I took the lead, fighting at the very front of the column, my silver spear shielding my brothers from most of the incoming arrows, allowing my men to return fire without interference. Our two squads moved quickly, eliminating over a dozen enemy , advancing directly towards the prefectural governor's mansion in the city center. "Company Commander, it's so much more fun out here with you. These past six months have been all training; my weapons are practically rusted, and you never let us fight," Xue Ba said beside me, cleaving an oncoming Jin soldier in two with a single stroke. I smiled, not bothering to explain the bureaucratic infighting to Xue Ba. Besides, the further we advanced, the greater the resistance we encountered. I estimated our reinforcements should have arrived, but before I could turn to ask Xue Ba, I heard a great battle cry behind me. I looked back and saw that those entering the city gate were also from the Tiger Warriors; it must be Li Tianqiang leading his men to set fire to the city. Another cavalry unit was charging northwards from the south street, shouting battle cries. "Wild Goose Formation! Find cover! Suppress the enemy's archers on both flanks! Secure the cavalry's advance!" In front of the prefectural government office, I urged the signalman to signal and arrange tactics. Xue Ba and Niu San relayed the orders. The thirty-six men cleared the main road and spread out, finding cover to avoid a frontal attack. The two sides were a hundred paces apart. The Tiger Warriors took turns firing in pairs, leaving the main road to the arriving elite cavalry. We focused solely on capturing the enemy archers. "You and Niu San command, I'll go check to make sure that Jin emperor doesn't escape." I abandoned my spear, took out the dagger San Niang had given me before my departure, gave the order, and rushed out. I had just reached the prefect's mansion when I saw a middle-aged man , surrounded by a group of people, fleeing hastily towards the backyard. I laughed and followed closely. A Jin general raised his broadsword and slashed at me. "I am Wu Tianci, the Supreme General of the Great Jin! State your name!" the Jin general shouted, brandishing his broadsword. "Ha, don't block my way, I don't have time to play with you." I cursed, thrusting my sword at Wu Tianci's face. "You!" Wu Tianci hadn't expected this southerner to attack so suddenly, without even announcing his name. He parried my short dagger with his broadsword , but with a "snip," it wasn't the sound of metal clashing; the tip of Wu Tianci's broadsword was actually chipped off by the dark, small dagger. Wu Tianci was a fierce general of the Jin Kingdom, his arms possessing immense strength. His Guan Dao (a type of halberd) was forged from pure wrought iron and weighed sixty-four jin (approximately 34 kg). Seeing the incredible sharpness of my weapon, he was startled, but still held onto a sliver of hope — the saying goes, "An inch longer, an inch stronger"—knowing he couldn't let me get close. So he roared, "Shameless sneak attack thief! Don't think you can get away with this weapon! I'll take your life today!" With a sweeping attack, his broadsword whistled through the air, slashing down at my waist. In my past life, I favored this kind of tactical short sword in close combat. Seeing Wu Tianci , blocking his sword hilt, rendering him powerless. Using the momentum, I leaped into the air, swiftly thrusting my sword towards Wu Tianci's carotid artery . Without even glancing back, I shook the blood off my dagger and continued chasing the Jin emperor. In my heart, I hate the Japanese the most, followed by the Jurchen barbarians. This is not only because of the Jingkang Incident , but also because of the Manchu Qing Dynasty established by the Jianzhou Jurchens, which created the most humiliating three hundred years of Chinese history. Therefore, I never intended to hold back; I killed them all, at most taking one Jin emperor back to settle scores. I killed three martial arts masters along the way. Two were probably remnants of the Iron Palm Clan, and the other was skilled in grappling, possibly a loyalist of the Kongkong Sect left in Jin. I used a single palm strike to distract the Kongkong Sect disciple, and then used the "Regretful Dragon" move against another Iron Palm Clan master. With just one palm strike, I shattered his arms, sending him flying backward, crashing into the wall and sliding softly to the ground.

Seeing an opening, the middle-aged man from the Empty Gate seized my left arm, attempting to break it with a dislocated tendon technique.

I had practiced the Bone Forging Technique of the Nine Yin Manual for three years, and before he could even touch my joints, I easily dislodged
his iron claws from my left arm. I swung my sword with my right hand, and with a "whoosh," the middle-aged thief screamed and collapsed
to the ground, his six fingers severed, rendering his martial arts useless.

The remaining Iron Palm Clan disciple, seeing me as a ferocious demon, turned to run. I didn't know the Finger Flicking Technique, but seeing
many large rocks in the garden, I kicked one at random. It flew in an arc, striking the fleeing man squarely
on the head , instantly splattering his brains and sending him sprawling.

The dagger was too short, so when I killed someone earlier, I was splattered with blood. Now, it approached the Aizong family, protected by a
dozen . Its sheer presence was enough to send chills down one's spine.

"Gurgle..." "Chirp!" My expression changed slightly, because I was very familiar with both sounds. Emperor Aizong
cried out for help , "Mr. Ximen, come quickly to save me!" But then, a figure in black and a figure in blue "whoosh" flew off to the northwest.

"Damn it, how did they run into each other? My father is no match for Huang Yaoshi..." I panicked slightly. But
my men calmly stabbed down three people and came to Emperor Aizong: "Your reliance has run away. I'll give you two choices. First,
hand over your family and surrender obediently, and I'll spare your lives. Second, I'll go over myself, kill
everyone , and then capture them. You choose."

Emperor Aizong heard the sounds of killing outside the courtyard gradually subside. He lamented that he had escaped the clutches of the Mongols, only to fall into
the hands of the cowardly Song people. He shouted, "The Mongols destroyed forty kingdoms, including Western Xia. Xia's demise will affect us, and our demise will inevitably affect the Song. If the lips are gone, the teeth will be cold—
it's a natural law. Why do you press this so hard?"

I sneered, "You are not even lips, and our Great Song is not your teeth. Did you ever
imagine this day would come in the second year of the Jingkang era?"

Emperor Aizong of Jin knew the situation was irreversible. He sighed, spoke in Jurchen, and was about to draw his sword to commit suicide. Just as I was about to stop him, I
heard a "whoosh" sound beside my ear as a pebble flew past, knocking the sword from his hand.

Taking advantage of the crowd's astonishment, I leaped into the crowd, grabbed Emperor Aizong Wanyan Shouxu's fur coat, and used both hands to seal my
pressure points while shouting, "Why don't you all lay down your weapons and surrender? What are you waiting for?"

Wanyan Shouxu knew his life was now in someone else's hands; even death was not his own choice. He sighed, gave an order,
and his followers reluctantly placed their weapons on the ground. At this moment, Li Tianqiang and his men had caught up. I handed everyone
over to my men, and then picked up the sword that Jin Zong had abandoned. Knowing that this sword must be extraordinary, I didn't examine it closely and hurriedly
walked towards the pavilion where I had thrown the hidden weapon.

"Fu-mei, come out! I see you!" I ran into the pavilion and called out.

"You didn't see me, otherwise you wouldn't have called from the pavilion." A very calm voice came from above the pavilion.

My heart leaped with joy, and I jumped onto the pavilion and saw a pretty figure sitting there with her back to me. "Fu-mei, I... I
have deeply reflected on my actions. These past few months, I have thought of you constantly. Only when you are no longer by my side did I realize that
something very important was missing from my life... I came to Jiangxia this time because I thought you would come..." I took off my blood-stained outer garment and
took out a new garment from my bag to change into. I walked behind Guo Fu, not knowing if she still resented me, and did not dare to make any intimate gestures.

"You miss me but you don't come looking for me. For the past few months, Lingbo has been making fun of me every day, saying she counts how many times I call your
name every night. I hate you so much..." Guo Fu saw that I hadn't moved for a while, so she turned around and threw herself into my arms, pounding my chest with her
small fists while sobbing.

"Alright, don't cry, come home with your brother." I hugged Guo Fu and coaxed her.

"No, what's the point of going back? To see you being intimate with other people every day?" Guo Fu became more and more resentful as she spoke, pinching my waist hard
twice. "Third Sister has already given birth, right? Is it a boy or a girl?"

I touched my nose and said, "It's a girl, very cute."

"Hmph... um~ bad man, no~~ in public..." Guo Fu laughed and dodged my kisses
, finally venting her little temper.

Seeing that some of my subordinates seemed to be searching this way, I stopped fooling around and led Guo Fu to see Meng Gong. I didn't
notice two pairs of eyes staring at Guo Fu and me from a corner of the garden, their eyes filled with murderous intent, clearly filled with
extreme hatred.

"General Meng, General Jiang, this humble subject greets you." Inside the military tent, I saw Meng Gong's adjutant Jiang Hai and a group of officers present, so
I straightened my clothes and bowed.

Meng Gong smiled and said, "We're all brothers, Third Brother, no need to be so formal. Adjutant Jiang, order the brothers to clean up
the battlefield . We'll head back to the mansion in an hour."

Adjutant Jiang and the other officers obeyed and left, leaving only the three of us in the mansion. "Third Brother, you stole the credit again this time,"
Meng Gong punched me lightly, laughing as if he were unwilling to accept it.

"Hehe, I just happened to be here to see my darling Fu'er. Don't take credit for this; just give the reward to
the brothers in my camp." I said, holding Guo Fu's hand. Guo Fu didn't expect her fiancé to be
so affectionate with her in front of others. Her face flushed red, but she couldn't pull her hand away and could only lower her head in silence.

Meng Gong's face was full of smiles: "I know you're rich and powerful now. By the way, the precious mirror you asked your elder brother to send is being fought over by your
sister-in-law and niece every day. Ask your elder brother to send a couple more tomorrow."

"It's our own business, why be so polite? Don't forget you have a 10% share in it.
We'll deduct it ."

"Isn't this considered collusion between officials and businessmen?" Guo Fu asked jokingly.

"This..." Meng Gong was an honest man who practiced martial arts, and for a moment he was speechless.

I took a mirror out of my package and said, "She's upset that I didn't give her a good thing, Second Brother, please don't be angry." With that, I placed
the exquisite little mirror into Guo Fu's hand.

Guo Fu took it and examined it closely. It was a bronze mirror with dragon and phoenix pendant patterns, but the mirror surface was made of the latest glass material,
and had a lid lined with suede. Guo Fu, having received her reward, grinned and tucked the mirror into her bosom
, saying, "Well, having such a good thing, and not even thinking of me, how can I blame you?"

I smiled and didn't say much, turning to Meng Gong and saying, "Second Brother, we have other matters to attend to, so we won't be returning to Xiangyang with you."
"Okay. Look after my dozens of brothers for me." Although I knew Guo Jing cherished my team, I was still worried
someone might cause trouble, so I gave Meng Gong a special instruction.

Meng Gong was taken aback. He understood the ways of the army and felt
it was a said, "Don't worry. Your brothers are my brothers too. As long as I'm alive, I won't mistreat
them."

I nodded and turned to Guo Fu, saying, "Let's go see Grandpa."

Guo Fu then remembered that her grandfather had gone to chase after a notorious villain and hadn't returned yet. She immediately put the mirror back in her pocket and pulled me
outside.

"Company Commander!" As soon as we arrived at the yamen gate, Chen Zhenyuan and Li Tianqiang, along with a dozen or so old brothers, had been waiting for me for a long time . They
all crowded around when they saw me come out.

"Old Li, I heard you're the most capable now, managing over three hundred men." "I greeted everyone and
patted Chen and Li on the shoulder.

"Company Commander, don't flatter me. In this battalion, only you and the leader can keep things in check. We were even thinking of asking you to
talk to General Meng and get the leader transferred back." Besides this unfathomable company commander, Li Tianqiang, He Qingshan, Niu San, and the others only respected
the capable and shrewd Chen Zhenyuan. If it weren't for Niu San and Wu Qing, the two thugs, keeping things under control, Li Tianqiang, a scholar, really wouldn't have been able to manage
these new recruits.

"You guys are doing a good job now, aren't you? You wouldn't just watch Staff Officer Li lose control of these greenhorns, would you?
I said, anyone who dares to show disrespect, kick them to death. Just like I disciplined you back then, you can do the same to them. What a great
opportunity ." "I said dismissively. That one sentence amused everyone, and no one raised any further objections.

I encouraged them a few more times, and also instructed them to lead the team well, not to be complacent, and to strive to bring the Tiger Legion
's spirit of unity and tactical experience outwards. Chen Zhenyuan and Li Tianqiang nodded, deeply inspired, understanding the meaning behind my words, and
suddenly realized that the burden on their shoulders was not light.

Guo Fu and I bid farewell to everyone, and rode north side by side. "Big brother, Grandpa has been chasing that bad guy for so long, where are we going to chase
him?"

I couldn't explain to her that I was actually more worried about the bad guy Guo Fu was talking about… Alas,
one wrong step can lead to eternal regret. If I hadn't been so impulsive and given the Dugu Nine Swords manual directly to my idol, Huang Yaoshi, Old Man Ouyang wouldn't have been
chased so badly. "Let's look around, we should still have some clues along the way." "Fortunately, the two didn't have
any deep-seated hatred. Looking at the trees that had been knocked down by their fighting along the official road, it was clear they
respected each other quite a bit, and didn't seem to be fighting to the death. Or perhaps, Ouyang Feng had already used all his strength, while Huang Yaoshi was still handling it with ease?

The two of them sped for another dozen miles, but the trail went cold. I knew that Ouyang Feng couldn't beat Huang Yaoshi and had chosen to flee at all costs.
I wondered if Huang Yaoshi could catch him. Suddenly, I remembered that someone was missing, so I turned to Guo Fu and asked, 'Where's Lingbo?'

'She said she was going to Zhongnan Mountain to see an elder from her sect, and she was being very secretive, not letting me go with her.' Guo Fu was sulking when she saw that the trail had
gone cold. When I asked, she remembered that Hong Lingbo seemed to be hiding something from her.

My expression changed. 'We need to go to Chongyang Palace. If we're too late, I'm afraid I'll only be able to collect her body.'

'Really? I didn't know it was so dangerous, otherwise I definitely wouldn't have let her go alone.' " Upon hearing this, Guo Fu
was startled . Over the past six months, the two had gotten along quite well because of their similar personalities and Hong Lingbo's deliberate attempts to please her. She
had initially been quite annoyed that Hong Lingbo had deliberately kept this from her, and she also suspected that her sect elders practiced some kind of poisonous
martial art , which she found quite distasteful, so she hadn't gone along to join the fun.

"Well, anyway, the road ahead is still long, let your elder brother tell you slowly..." Along the way, I recounted how Li Mochou
fell in love with Lu Zhanyuan in her childhood, how she was discovered by the old woman of the Ancient Tomb Sect and driven out of the mountain, how she was later abandoned by Lu Zhanyuan, how she accidentally obtained the Five Poisons Secret Technique, and how
she mastered the Crimson Refining Palm and Ice Soul Silver Needles to wreak havoc in the martial arts world, and I also interspersed
the story .

Guo Fu nodded and said, "A few days ago, Lingbo also told me that she had gone to the Lu Family Manor, but her
grandfather had acupunctured her and left her a little far away from your dilapidated kiln." "Recalling the past, Guo Fu couldn't help but feel a little emotional. Who would have thought that
five years later, everyone would be intertwined again around their lovers? "However, even Lingbo herself doesn't know much about her sect
. How do you know so much, brother?"

"Me? I just asked around and found out." Seeing that Guo Fu was very dissatisfied with this perfunctory answer, I laughed and scolded, "Alright, don't
look at me like that. You've been away for half a year and you've become so shrewish."

"Hmph, I can't just let you bully a bad person like you." Guo Fu deliberately huffed at me in a huff.

I smiled bitterly, "Just leave some room for honest people in the world... Ouch, ouch, ouch... Don't pinch me, I surrender
. Qing'er told me some things. And some things about the Ancient Tomb Sect, Master Qiu told me."

"The Ancient Tomb Sect?" "Guo Fu asked curiously.

I was sweating profusely, not expecting to say so much more, but since I had already started, I could only continue: "
The founder of the Ancient Tomb Sect and the founder of the Quanzhen Sect..." Anyway, there was still a long way to go, so I didn't mind the gossip and recounted the story of Wang Chongyang, the Central Divine, as I remembered it from
the Ekin Cheng version, interspersed with many important figures, such as Ouyang Feng,
Huang Yaoshi, Emperor Duan of the Southern Dynasty, and so on... It turned the untold story between Wang Chongyang and Lin Chaoying into a
thirty-episode long romance drama. As for gossiping and dragging all the seniors into the mess, and whether I would be
hunted down by the Five Greats in the martial arts world, I didn't care. Who told me to meet such a curious little girl.

"When Ouyang Feng, the Western Poison, came to Chongyang Palace, he kicked one and struck two more... All seven Quanzhen disciples were subdued, and even
Zhou Botong, the Old Urchin, was beaten until he vomited blood." The Western Poison picked up the lower volume of the Nine Yin Manual placed on the offering table and laughed loudly, saying, "From now on, I
am the number one in the world!" But before he could finish his smugness, the coffin of Patriarch Chongyang shattered with a crack. The
One Yang Finger, which had been gathering power for a long time, struck Senior Ouyang on the forehead, instantly breaking his Toad Skill... "

Waaah... Senior Brother..."

I was spitting out eloquent words to make Guo Fu cry, when I heard an old man suddenly wailing behind me.
Only then did realize that I had been so engrossed in telling the story that I hadn't noticed a fat old man squatting on my backside.
His crying had startled Guo Fu and me.

"You're the Old Urchin?" I was taken aback. I'd only told a story, and it'd brought up this powerful figure.

"Little brat, do you know me?" The Old Urchin abruptly stopped crying, then suddenly remembered something, pointing at my nose and yelling, "You
little rascal, daring to gossip about my senior brother! I, the Old Urchin, will spank you today!"

Guo Fu then suddenly remembered who the Old Urchin was. "You're my uncle? My father is Guo Jing."

"You're that silly boy Guo Jing's daughter? Your mother is that little girl Huang Rong? That's not right, Huang Rong herself was
only about age, how could she have a daughter as old as you? But you do look a bit like that little devil..." The Old
Urchin, his white hair and beard disheveled, stared at Guo Fu for a long time, muttering to himself.

"You have..."

I was about to explain when the Old Urchin interrupted me. "You naughty boy, you're not a good person with that grin. You were just
spreading rumors and gossiping about my senior brother."

"My name is Guo Fu. My father once said you were my sworn brother. You haven't seen my parents for over ten years, have you
? Otherwise I wouldn't have met you either. However, my brother was just trying to let me know some martial arts stories; he wasn't spreading rumors or
gossiping about it." Guo Fu saw that he was talking incoherently and realized that it was wrong for the two of them to talk about their elders behind their backs. Seeing that I
was embarrassed , she patiently explained to him.

"He's your brother?" The old rascal didn't answer Guo Fu but pointed at me and asked.

"Ha, Sister Fu, Senior Zhou said my story wasn't good. Let me tell you a new one: 'Four looms, mandarin ducks woven together, longing to
fly in pairs , but alas, before old age, the head turns white...' This is a true story. If you don't believe me, ask Senior Zhou." I winked and
smiled lewdly.

"Wait... young brother, this story isn't good, let's change it..." Zhou Botong's face turned green upon hearing this, and he forgot about
my half-joking talk about his senior brother. He quickly put on a smiling face.

"Haha... what story is this? I want to hear it!" Guo Fu saw how excited the old rascal was and knew it must be something
fun, so she clapped her hands and laughed.

"This... it's not good, not good at all. I'm leaving." The old rascal said, about to run away.

"Ha... by the way, old rascal, are you bored and looking for someone to fight?" I remembered something and asked.

"Yes, ever since Qiu Qianren became a monk, no one has fought with the old rascal anymore. I have to
fight with my left and right hands, sometimes I take off my shoes and fight with my left and right feet together with my left and right hands." Zhou Botong said with a bitter face.

"I have an idea."

"Kid, you want to fight me?" Zhou Botong was a discerning person. Seeing my deep gaze and the rhythm of my breathing that had
entered the innate realm, his hands couldn't help but itch.

“Let’s continue with the story of the Four-Piece Loom,” I said, turning to Guo Fu.

“No, no… what do you want, little brother?” the Old Urchin quickly covered my mouth, pleading.

I pulled his hand away and said, “Then let me finish what I have to say.” Seeing that the Old Urchin was behaving himself, I said, “The
Eastern Heretic and the Western Poison are within a hundred miles of here, roughly in the northwest. If you find them
, you can spar with them and won’t be so bored.”

The Old Urchin’s eyes lit up at the mention of this. He had been imprisoned by Huang Yaoshi for fifteen years and had also been bitten by the Old Poison’s snake… Although we won’t dwell on the past,
he was still happy to cause some trouble and play some pranks on his two old enemies. "This is fun, I'm going to play with Huang Yaoshi and
the Old Poison Master ." As he said this, he farted while somersaulting over their heads, and walked away singing a children's song, "Sorry,
salute; fart, may it suffocate you."

"Ugh... what a shameless old rascal." Guo Fu covered her nose and slapped him for a while, laughing and cursing.

"Hehe... look at him, acting crazy, but he's really skilled." I said with a wry smile, wiping away cold sweat. I
was genuinely scared just now. I knew the Old Rascal couldn't stand people talking about his senior brother. The odds of
him catching me red-handed while telling two stories on a whim were lower than winning the lottery.

"Then let him go cause trouble for my grandfather..." Guo Fu suddenly remembered that the Old Rascal was going to cause trouble for her grandfather,
and said angrily.

"It's alright. If it were just Grandpa and my godfather, they would definitely fight to the death, which would be really worrying. But with
this old rascal stirring things up and mediating, things will definitely stay peaceful. Strategically speaking, this is called
a three-way standoff," I sighed.

"Oh, I forgot, Ouyang Feng is my eldest brother's godfather," Guo Fu said, knowing I was worried about Ouyang Feng. She didn't fully
understand the old poison master's past, and having just heard his story, she was quite curious about her godfather. So she took my hand and comforted me.

"He was good to me, passing on his inner strength to me. I even tricked him into burning down his ancestral property. He's
been wandering the martial world alone for so many years, and this is his just desserts..." I sighed. "By the way, do you
know how he ended up by the side of that emperor in the Jin Kingdom?"

Guo Fu shook her head and said, "Grandpa and I have been lying in wait outside for a long time. Until you came in, Grandpa asked me to meet you, and then he
went to fight Ouyang Feng himself."

"Hmm, I guess Grandpa didn't know about my connection with Old Man Ouyang. By the way, your finger-flicking skill
is quite impressive. Big brother, take a look, have you developed any calluses?" I held Guo Fu's small hand, examined it closely, and smiled.

"You're so annoying...no, right?" Guo Fu was initially quite pleased with the first part of my statement, but upon hearing that I had developed calluses,
she worriedly pulled her hand back, looking at it again and again in the gradually brightening sunlight.

"No, it's still soft and white." I kissed her soft, white hand.

"Big brother, stop it, look...people are laughing at you." Guo Fu pulled her hand back, glancing to the side.

The two had now entered the territory under the jurisdiction of the Quanzhen Sect, and riding their horses, they frequently saw Taoist priests of all ranks passing by. I
realized I had been a bit too unrestrained, so I coughed twice to cover my embarrassment before saying, "Fu-mei, have you seen that? There are
quite a few more Taoist priests on the road. It seems we're getting closer to the Quanzhen Sect's mountain gate." "

Hmm, is the large tomb built by the Quanzhen Sect's founder, which you mentioned, right next to the Quanzhen Sect?"

"Uh... actually, the tomb came first, then the Chongyang Palace." I said with a smile.

"Hehe, this part seems quite interesting, tell me about it." Guo Fu shook my arm and said.

"Making a list of founders outside the mountain gate seems... hehe, let's talk about it when we get back later." I gestured with my chin, and Guo Fu turned her head
to look. Before her was a temple, with the three characters "Puguang Temple" written above the horizontal beam of the temple gate.

"What? It's clearly a Buddhist temple." Although she grumbled with some disappointment, seeing me dismount, she followed suit,
taking the reins and walking up the hill behind me.

I reached the temple and focused my gaze on a large pine tree opposite it, with a stone tablet nestled among the tall grass beneath it. "That's
it! This is the tablet with the poem inscribed by Master Qiu." I swung my sword, the strong wind snapping the withered grass, and miraculously,
all the weeds within a half-meter radius of the tablet were cleared away.

"Excellent!" Guo Fu clapped and cheered, seeing how effortlessly and cleanly I had cleared away the weeds.

"Who's making such a racket here?" Several Taoist priests came down from the mountain; it was obvious they were patrolling, drawn by Guo Fu's
cheer .

"This humble one, Yang Guo, and the Yue Maiden Swordswoman, Lady Guo, have come to pay our respects to Master Changchun," I said, bowing.

"Yang Guo? Yue Maiden Sword? Never heard of him. You should go back. The Patriarch isn't the abbot of a Buddhist temple; not everyone can see him
." The fat Taoist leading the group wasn't very old, but seeing me looking like a spoiled young master, riding with a pretty young woman,
he couldn't help but feel disgusted and jealous. "Hmph, want to go up the mountain to worship the Patriarch? No way!" he dismissed casually.

"You!" Guo Fu, who considered herself to have accomplished several great things in less than a year, was a little
smug , but she didn't expect to be shut down by a single sentence. If I hadn't stopped her, she would have drawn her sword.

"What do you mean, 'you'? Take advantage of my good mood and leave quickly, or I'll beat you all down the mountain with my clubs." The fat young man
said, feigning a fierce look.

I didn't bother arguing with him. I thought that I had a good relationship with most people in the Quanzhen Sect, and there was no need to ruin their impression of me for the sake of one
tactless . Looking at the chubby boy with the pockmarked face, I already had a pretty good idea of his identity.
I didn't get angry, just smiled and watched his performance.

"This one seems to be... Junior Brother Yang. Junior Brother Lu, please don't be rude, let me ask."
Another Taoist priest, around twenty-eight or twenty-nine years old, stepped out from behind the chubby Taoist. "This humble Taoist is Ji Duxin. May I ask your master's name, benefactor?"

"My master is Chief Huang of the Beggars' Sect. This Lady Guo is my master's beloved daughter, my junior sister." I turned and winked,
as if to say "Your reputation still doesn't quite cut it, does it?

" "This humble Taoist is a disciple of Master Changzhen. My master has mentioned your name many times. I never expected you to come and pay respects to Grandmaster Qiu today
. My apologies, my apologies. Please follow us." The young Taoist gestured for us to enter.

I wasn't sure who Chang Zhenzhen was either. I was about to offer a polite
greeting when Lu Duqing interrupted, "Senior Brother Ji, you'd better ask carefully. A couple of years ago, many wicked people came to our Chongyang Palace to cause trouble. Who knows
if this kid is an imposter?"

"Junior Brother Lu, I met Junior Brother Yang and Lady Guo once in Baling County. I can't be wrong," Ji Duxin
explained patiently, seeing that Lu Duqing was deliberately making things difficult.

Lu Duqing wouldn't budge, and the group was stuck at the doorway.

I sneered, flicked my sleeve, and a palm print embedded itself in the trunk of the century-old pine tree. "I wonder if Senior Brother Lu
would like to personally verify whether my Eighteen Subduing Dragon Palms are real or fake?"

This one move alone terrified the young Taoists. My goodness, what if that hit them...? Lu Duqing stammered, stubbornly
insisting , "You heretic, daring to act wildly in front of my Chongyang Palace! Do you think my fellow disciples are afraid of you? Let's form
the Big Dipper Formation and attack side by side!"

Ji Duxin was practically ready to slap him. This Senior Brother Yang was definitely not one to suffer a loss. Luckily, he had listened to his master and
treated me with courtesy. He quickly ordered his junior brothers to drag this scoundrel away and invite Guo Fu and me up the mountain.

On the way, Ji Duxin asked, "I wonder what brings Senior Brother up the mountain this time?"

"Um... mainly to visit the Ancestral Master." Guo Fu and I followed side by side. I turned to look at Guo Fu and
smiled wryly.

"Oh... that's it?" Ji Duxin was a shrewd man; he noticed that Guo Fu and I seemed to have something more to say.

"Well, nothing else. Senior brother, lead the way." I thought it best not to let too many people know about this. At worst, I'd just
greet Old Man Qiu, and if he wouldn't allow it, I could sneak a peek when I left.
I was quite interested in getting to know my 'aunt' with whom I had a karmic connection from a past life.

Ji Duxin led us to the Sanqing Hall, then went to ask Master Li Zhichang and Yin Zhiping for permission. Not long after, Qiu Chuji arrived at the front hall
in a flurry . "Guo'er, come, come quickly, come with me to meet your grandmasters. Last night, I dreamt of a pair
of chopsticks, and I knew we'd have guests today. I didn't expect it to be you, boy, visiting this old man." As he spoke, he laughed loudly and walked towards the back hall, regardless of whether I was willing or
not .

I was being pulled so hard I was wincing, and seeing Guo Fu laughing behind me, I thought to myself: This old man really cares about me. But if it weren't
for my little sister, I wouldn't be acting like a grandson. Maybe after you kick the bucket, I'll come to your grave, burn some incense, and shed a couple of tears
, and that'll be the end of it.

Qiu Chuji led me through the east hall, then the west hall, until we reached the back hall. From afar, I could see several old Taoist priests sitting upright in the back hall,
and an empty prayer mat. Qiu Chuji pulled me inside and instructed Guo Fu and me to kneel at the lower level. I myself sat upright on
the third futon on the right and said, "This is Patriarch Danyang."

Guo Fu and I bowed down, saying, "Greetings, Patriarch Danyang."

Qiu Chuji then introduced, "This is..."

Guo Fu and I bowed respectfully several times, until we couldn't tell who was who anymore. However, based on their facial features, I
could tell that the first one, the kind-faced Taoist with the three-ringed bun, was Ma Yu. The next ones were, in order, Wang Chuyi (Huayangzi), Liu Chuxuan (Changshengzi), and finally
, the burly Hao Datong (Guangningzi) and the female Taoist, Sun Bu'er (Qingjing Sanren). I kowtowed to Qiu Chuji one last time before straightening
up. But then I noticed that Zhao Zhijing was also standing at the very edge, grinning lewdly at me with his two front teeth showing
. Yin Zhiping and Li Zhichang were standing next to him, smiling kindly at me.

Damn it, how dare he fantasize about me kowtowing to him! If it weren't for so many elders watching, I would have grabbed this
bastard .

"Hmph..." A moment of awkward silence fell. Sun Bu'er, sitting on the altar, suddenly snorted coldly and said, "I heard you're quite
capable, even knocking out several of your Uncle Zhao's front teeth. Is this how your master taught you to treat your elders?"

A surge of anger welled up inside me. So, after I kowtowed so forcefully, this was just a show of force, and now she's starting to interrogate me? You old
nun, you're always colluding with Zhao Zhijing, are you having an affair with him? Immediately, I replied neither humbly nor arrogantly, "This disciple doesn't understand
what you're referring to. This disciple once taught a foul-mouthed sorcerer a lesson in Baling County, but Grandmaster Qiu also said..."
"Compassion is fundamental, and I accidentally bumped into him twice. I wonder if it's because I'm getting old, or maybe I knocked out a tooth while eating
..."

"Pfft..." Guo Fu didn't know there was such a part. She had been wondering why this Taoist priest with the missing front tooth
was smiling so lewdly at Brother Yang. It turned out he wanted to take advantage of the situation and
vent .

"You..." Zhao Zhijing's face turned purple with anger. His teeth were snarling as he pointed at me, ready to fight, but Yin Zhiping and
Li Zhichang held him back.

"Young man, you dare to be so verbally aggressive in my Chongyang Palace? Today you must..." Sun Bu'er was also about to step down from the altar and
attack, raising his whisk.

"Stop!" "Ma Yu smiled and spoke softly, his words carrying no anger, yet possessing
the solemnity of a morning bell and evening drum. I was startled, secretly admiring the profound inner strength of this senior disciple of Chongyang Palace; the cultivation of a seventy- or eighty-year-old was indeed profound.

Sun Bu'er and Zhao Zhijing stopped their fight reluctantly. Ma Yu glanced at the two of us and said, "Cultivators value cultivating their inner energy most. Zhijing, you
are one of the best among the third-generation disciples of my Chongyang Palace. How could you act rashly and ignorantly towards a junior? This experience is
a good . In the future, never be so verbally abusive in front of others. As for young friend Yang, he is actually Guo Jing's disciple, not a
disciple of my Quanzhen Sect. We should not be too demanding of him." I waved to signal Yin Zhiping and the others to lead me away.

My words made Liu Chuxuan, Wang Chuyi, and the others nod in agreement. To be fair, this Master Huayang, Wang Chuyi, usually favored his
beloved disciple. But this time, with several junior disciples testifying, indirectly implying that the fault wasn't mine, he couldn't
pursue . Seeing his disciple so easily swayed, he couldn't help but feel slightly disappointed in him. Sun Bu'er, on the other hand
, wanted to save face for Zhao Zhijing and his grand-disciple after I broke one of their ribs, and wanted to use the opportunity to teach this junior a lesson,
but was stopped by his senior brother. Hearing his words, he knew he had lost face, and sat silently on the futon, sulking.

I muttered to myself, "Anger injures the liver. Excessive anger causes liver qi to rise, liver yang to become hyperactive, or liver fire to flare up,
depleting the liver's yin blood." (Suwen) The *Treatise on This Disease* states: "When a person is angry, the qi rises and does not descend, which injures the liver." The *Spiritual Pivot*, "On the Manifestations
of Evil Qi in the Zang-Fu Organs," states
: "If one is extremely angry, the qi rises and does not descend, accumulating under the ribs, which injures the liver." The *Plain Questions*, "On Pain," states: "Anger causes qi to rise in reverse, and in severe cases,
it can cause vomiting blood." The *Plain Questions*, "On the Circulation of Vital Energy," states: "Extreme anger causes the body's qi to be exhausted, and blood to stagnate in the upper body, causing fainting." The *Medical Records* states: "When anger is released, the liver blood will be greatly damaged; when anger is stagnant, the liver blood will be secretly damaged. Anger
is the thief of blood."

Those present were all highly skilled in internal medicine. Ma Yu, Qiu Chuji, Wang Chuyi, Liu Chuxuan, and Hao Datong
were all slightly taken aback when they heard me muttering to myself. Liu Chuxuan and Hao Datong, who had a deep understanding of medical principles, even exclaimed "Eh!" Wang Chuyi, concerned for his
apprentice, couldn't help but ask, "Good lad, you actually have such insight! Tell me, how should this anger disorder be treated?"

Ma Yu also gestured, "Sit down and let's talk."

I pulled Guo Fu to sit on the prayer mat and said, "This grand-disciple has only read a few medical books, so I'm just showing off my limited knowledge. However,
I think this Master Zhao is suffering from anger disorder. After returning home, I looked through some books and found a few herbs that are suitable."
I then mentioned several herbs that tonify qi and benefit the liver, such as Bupleurum, Schisandra, pig bile powder, Isatis root, and mung beans, and instructed that it would be best to
disinfect Zhao Zhijing and Lu Duqing's tableware separately. I had long suspected that Zhao Zhijing had hepatitis, the infectious kind. I knew
he wasn't truly driven mad by anger as described in the original story, but rather had a hidden ailment that made him prone to anger , leading
to a vicious cycle where he became even less likable and thus more prone to anger.

After listening, Ma Yu glanced at his wife, wondering who had infected whom. However, he did
remember my words , and from then on, the illnesses of Sun Bu'er, Zhao Zhijing, and their disciples were brought under control—but that's another story.

The onlookers had all left, and I spoke alone with Qiu Chuji at the Dusong Pavilion behind the mountain. "Guo'er, your visit to Zhongnan Mountain this time
must have another purpose, right?" Qiu Chuji asked leisurely.

"I won't hide it from you, I've come for the people in the large tomb behind the mountain," I replied.

"Could it be that you also have some designs on those people in the tomb?" Qiu Chuji asked curiously. Huo Du had caused trouble on the mountain twice, and for nearly a year,
the old Taoists hadn't dared to venture down the mountain.

“If that were really the case, I wouldn’t have brought my wife along.” I touched my nose and smiled
bitterly ? Why do I always bring up women in every sentence?”

“Hehe… It’s not that Master doesn’t trust you, it’s just that the tomb is full of women.” Qiu Chuji’s eyes flashed, and
he recited leisurely: “Zhang Liang was determined to destroy Qin, and once presented his shoes under the bridge. He assisted Han in its great undertaking, standing tall like a pillar of heaven. He wanted to travel with Chisongzi, and after achieving his goal, he
brushed off left. Extraordinary people and extraordinary books, not easily bestowed by the Creator. Chongyang established Quanzhen, looking high and striding forward, with the heroic posture of a hero,
he seized the opportunity to establish his own regime. He realized his mistakes and settled down in the Tomb of the Living Dead. People first learned about the Dao, and the two immortals met here. Now they descend to Zhongnan, their palaces and pavilions rising above the mist… Do you know
the meaning of this poem?”

I broke out in a cold sweat, thinking, “Oh no, it’s the same old three lines again…” I replied, “The first four lines are about Zhang Liang’s achievements in restoring Han for four hundred years,
and the last part seems to be about Chongyang Zhenren…”

"Indeed, the person who wrote the first half of this poem was the first patriarch of the Tomb of the Living Dead. She was a senior master of the same generation as my late master,
Chongyang Zhenren." Qiu Chuji looked nostalgic and continued, "The Tomb of the Living Dead is the very place where the patriarch lost a bet
to that senior. Before her death, the patriarch instructed that the people in the tomb be well cared for and not disturbed. So,
if you have heard any rumors in the martial world or are looking for some treasure, you have made a mistake."

"Alas, actually I didn't want to come either. The thing is..." I then recounted how Li Mochou entrusted her orphan to someone, how I recognized Hong
Lingbo as my sister, how she ran away with Guo Fu to travel the martial world, and how I secretly went to the Tomb of the Living Dead,
trying to be concise and to the point.

After listening, Qiu Chuji pondered for a long time and said, "If that's the case, then go. Although you have a great connection with our sect, you
are not a member of the Quanzhen Sect in the end. But once you find the person, come out quickly and don't linger in the tomb. This great tomb was originally built by our ancestor to fight against
the Jin army . It is full of traps and dangers at every turn."

"Yes, Guo'er understands." I nodded.
