The town wasn't big, and we quickly found the small hotel, which was only a few stories high. Since I had booked the room, I had to go check in. But we couldn't all go together; imagine if the receptionist saw us, four people in one room, men and women—wouldn't they get all sorts of ideas? Besides, adding someone would cost extra, so we had to sneak in four people. So, my wife and I got out of the car to check in.

Although I don't have eyes in the back of my head, I'm 100% certain that the couple was staring at us from behind. So, I tried to walk as confidently as possible, and my wife tried to walk as gracefully as possible.

We went from the parking lot to the hotel check-in counter, quickly checked in, and the receptionist gave us a small card with the room key card inside.

We went up to the second floor, to our room. The facilities were equivalent to a three-star hotel in China, or even a near-three-star one. But basic amenities like air conditioning and a small refrigerator were all there, along with two beds and a TV. I looked around the small room, imagining a spring night filled with vibrant colors, and my heart started pounding again, I could almost hear it. My wife had already gone to pee and was now looking in the mirror. I said the couple downstairs were getting impatient, we could go out now.

It was only a little past two in the afternoon. Before coming in, we had agreed that since the other two needed to sneak in, they should stay in the car and wait while we checked in, then we'd go out for a stroll.

Since it was still early, our original plan was to explore the town first, not to rush into anything like that.

About fifteen minutes later, we were back in the parking lot downstairs. You couldn't see the parking lot directly from the front desk.

We got in the car, drove out of the hotel, and returned to the town's main road. There was a Pizza Hut nearby, so we decided to eat there. Although we'd been eating non-stop in the car, a proper lunch was still necessary. Once inside, we each chose a train-style seating area, the two couples facing each other. A waitress immediately came to serve us, and we each ordered a medium-sized pizza. Pizza Hut's pizzas are generally quite good.

The waitress said there was a service center nearby where we could ask questions or get some brochures.

Inside the service center, there was quite a long line of people asking questions. Time was precious, so we didn't want to waste any more time there and quickly grabbed some brochures and got back to the car. We parked in the free parking lot next to the church.

We each had a brochure and looked through them. There really wasn't much to do in the town. There was a lighthouse by the sea with a small path for walking. There was also a craft market. It was already 3:30 pm, getting late, and I wondered if the craft market was about to close.

So we decided to take a stroll by the sea. Since we weren't really there for sightseeing, we wanted a quiet place, somewhere to relax and unwind. This beach and walking path seemed like a good option.

After making up our minds, Xiao Si started the car and, following the guidebook and the printed map of the town, we made our way there. It was only a few streets away, and soon the white lighthouse came into view.

The place was sparsely populated; it probably wasn't whale watching season yet. This beach is mainly for whale watching in the summer, and it wasn't the right season.

We got out of the car and walked towards the beach. The waves gently lapped at the shore, the sun was setting, and a gentle breeze was blowing—it was very romantic.

We embraced our respective women, gazing at the sea, seemingly admiring the scenery. But I wasn't really focused on the scenery; I was more interested in the woman in another man's arms. So I kept stealing glances, imagining countless times in my mind that her clothes were off, wondering what her body looked like underneath, and when the mystery would be revealed. At the same time, I was also wondering how we should begin our operation. Every beginning is difficult.

Xiao Si was a very cooperative man; I think he understood what I meant, and this was exactly what he wanted.

My wife didn't seem to think much of it and went with Xiao Si to get the grapes.

I said to Xiao Si's wife, "Let's walk a little further ahead; they'll catch up soon." So we walked slowly side by side into the depths of the path. Glancing back, I saw Xiao Si and my wife walking towards their car, and a pang of sadness welled up inside me. Seeing the woman I love walking alongside another man always makes me feel sad. I think this is a reaction all men would have, even someone like me who was about to swap women.

I glanced at the woman beside me out of the corner of my eye, itching to pull her close and make my move, but I couldn't be too abrupt, and I was also a little embarrassed. What should I do? Just as I was pondering this, she suddenly exclaimed, "Hey, this flower is pretty, I want it!" and ran towards a small red flower on a roadside pebble.

In spring, there are many wildflowers by the roadside, but in this area, yellow and white flowers are more common. This red flower was one I had just seen, and it was also larger. I was waiting for them to catch up. My wife handed me a bunch of grapes: "Here, have some grapes." I didn't know if anything had happened between Xiao Si and my wife, but they caught up so quickly! Around 5:30, we discussed whether to go for dinner. The two ladies said they weren't hungry at all; they hadn't even digested the pizza they'd just eaten. The men said we shouldn't go hungry and should go to the supermarket to buy some food so we could eat at the hotel if we got hungry again.

Everyone agreed. It would also save money. Immigrants abroad tend to be frugal, and we were no exception.

So we drove back, passing a small supermarket where we went in and bought some bread and pastries, and especially a few cans of beer. I figured the alcohol would make the woman more relaxed.
