The first thing after making friends

    page views:1  Publication date:2020-10-13
After a passionate, sweaty, and intense sexual experience filled with multiple orgasms, do you simply lie in bed and drift off to sleep, still feeling the pleasure? However, a healthy sex life isn't just about pleasure during sex; it also includes pre- and post-coital routines. Recently, the American website "Candy.com" published an article discussing one thing you should do after sex: urinate, and three main reasons why.

1. Bladder spasms. Bladder spasms refer to the spasmodic contractions of the bladder's smooth muscles or sphincter muscles, which can be caused by urinary tract infections or ureteral irritation. After sex, not only women whose vaginas have just been stimulated, but even men who have ejaculated will feel the urge to urinate. The feeling of bladder spasms after intercourse may give the impression of needing to urinate immediately, but this doesn't necessarily mean you will experience urinary incontinence. If you frequently experience bladder spasms after sex, urinating before sex can help prevent this.

2. Uterine contractions. You may have experienced this: during an orgasm, every muscle in your body contracts. Indeed, many muscles contract during orgasm, including the uterus. Physiologically, the uterus is close to the bladder, and its contractions affect the surrounding tissues. During orgasm, the uterus and bladder receive increased blood flow, causing the bladder to tighten under pressure, resulting in the urge to urinate.

3. Urinary tract infection (UTI). The most common cause of bladder fullness after sex is a UTI, so be vigilant about this feeling. Studies have found that 75% of UTIs in adults are related to sexual activity. Urinating after sex helps flush out bacteria accumulated in the urinary tract and is an effective way to prevent UTIs. If you frequently experience bladder fullness without signs of a UTI, it's best to see a doctor to rule out other possible conditions.
