Is there any hope for my wife?

My wife is 33 years old, quite good-looking, and has a good figure (165cm/55kg). We dated for 12 years and have been married for 7. She's rather conservative; for many years, we've mostly used the standard missionary or side-lying position, rarely oral sex, let alone anything else. We had sex quite often in the first few years, but since having our child, it's become less frequent, about once a month.
I used to frequent online forums and had the idea of finding her a different man. I wanted her to experience different men, perhaps to stimulate her desires and give her sexual satisfaction—after all, youth fades, and pleasure should be enjoyed while one can! I've mentioned to her many times that she could meet up with someone she likes, or ideally, I could meet up with her too (but I think that's less likely; meeting up alone is more acceptable). I've brought this up with her intermittently since a while. At the time, I was hesitant because I wasn't ready and worried about potential negative consequences; secondly, I was afraid she wouldn't agree. Before, at least she would listen and sometimes disagree with my points. But recently, when I talked to her about it, she told me not to bring it up again, and even said, "If she really wanted to, she would have done it without me having to tell her." I don't know what's going on. What is she really thinking?
I feel that life is short, and I just want her to experience different kinds of fun (without affecting the family), but why is it so difficult?
I think she definitely has some expectations, some longing, and some excitement in her heart, which is what she has shown in the past, but why doesn't she want me to bring it up now?
