Lü Zhi said with a charming smile, her face revealing a thousand kinds of charm.
Long Lin hurriedly said, "Sister-in-law, I'm so ashamed of myself! I arrived too late, causing this calamity to Liu Family Village and making your wife suffer. I should be punished for failing to protect her properly!"
Lü Zhi sighed and said, "This isn't Brother Long's fault, please don't say that!"

Liu Yu'er interrupted Long Lin and Lü Zhi in a sweet voice.

Chu Yunxin toasted Long Lin again, but kept her head down, seemingly afraid to look him in the eye. Long Lin simply smiled, drank a cup with Chu Yunxin, and said, "Xin'er, did I frighten you today?"
Chu Yunxin shook her head and said, "Brother Long, have you forgotten that we risked our lives together on the East Sea? How could I be afraid of what happened today?"
Long Lin chuckled and said, "Yes, our Xin'er has weathered many storms."
The four of them laughed. Lü Zhi then recounted the events that had occurred in Liu Family Village after Liu Bang and Long Lin left, and Long Lin briefly recounted his experiences over the past two years. Lü Zhi, Liu Yu'er, and Chu Yunxin listened intently.
As the night wore on, the three of them kept toasting Long Lin, exchanging knowing glances and winks, clearly trying to get him drunk.

Chu Yunxin was already quite drunk, but seeing the wine offered, she didn't refuse and drank it down. She immediately collapsed onto the table, unconscious.
"Sister, that's it!"
Liu Yu'er smiled at Lü Zhi.

Lü Zhi nudged Long Lin again, but he didn't move, clearly too drunk. The next morning, Chu Yunxin woke up to find herself in Lü Zhi's room. Remembering she had been drunk the night before, she got up, dressed, and went to find Lü Zhi and Liu Yu'er. However, she found Lü Zhi and Liu Yu'er fast asleep, their doors tightly shut. She assumed they were also drunk and unable to get up, unaware that Long Lin had fought the two women with his divine spear the previous night, and they were currently limp and unable to move.
Long Lin, however, had already left the inner courtyard to check on the front of the manor, only to be informed that Wu Bo had escaped sometime during the previous night.
