[Fantasy Martial Arts] The Legend of the Evil God (Complete) - Chapter 31

Chapter Nine: The Death of the Asura

Each of the "Six Paths Shikigami" possesses its own territory. For example, the Holy Emperor of the "Heavenly Path" has the "Six Paths Holy Temple"; the Cloud-Covered Moon of the "Human Path" has the "Heaven of Abundance"; the Rakshasa of the "Asura Path" has the "Dark Heaven"; the Mo Zhi of the "Animal Path" has the "Heaven of Good Vision"; the Naraku of the "Hungry Ghost Path" has the "Heaven of Desirelessness"; and the Yellow Springs of the "Hell Path" has the "Heaven of Avici".

These profoundly meaningful "heavens" are actually hidden, rarely visited places. Some are difficult for outsiders to enter due to their geographical environment; some are protected by layers of formations set up by their masters; and some are because their masters are the strongest guardian beasts, requiring no additional mechanisms. The

"Dark Heaven," guarded by the "Asura Path" shikigami Rakshasa, is such a place.

In an almost absolute darkness, a chilling, decaying atmosphere permeated the air. The ground was littered with withered bones, their sparse arrangement suggesting their owners had not died of natural causes, but rather had their flesh and bones severed by an extremely cruel method. Those struck were almost entirely mutilated, the pungent stench of blood nauseating, a terrifying place coexisting with death.

These corpses were those killed by Rakshasa after mistakenly trespassing into the "Dark Heaven" Asura Domain.

The "Asura Path" custom dictates that, apart from the shikigami, there are no warriors under its command, as each generation of "Asura" is already the strongest human beast, needing no further assistance.

After being defeated by the rebellious "Sword of the Eternal World," Rakshasa returned to the "Dark Heaven" wounded. This blood-soaked and desolate environment was the only place that gave him a sense of "home"...

Having broken through to the "Ultimate" realm, he originally thought that apart from Jun Nitian and Ding Chenyi, who had both perished, no one in the world could rival him. Unexpectedly, Nitianxie, who had absorbed the Holy Emperor's soul power, was even more powerful than him. Indeed, the younger generation surpasses the older, and there is always someone stronger.

Defeated by Nitianxie, he felt no regret or resentment. His motto was that the strong would fall and the stronger would win; he lost to Nitianxie simply because his skills were inferior, nothing more.

After being defeated by Nitianxie, he realized that mastering the "Ultimate" realm was not the guarantee of being the strongest. There was an "Ultimate" above the "Ultimate," just like Nitianxie's "Sword of the Eternal World," which, though only used to the third move, had already easily defeated him.

However, his defeat was not without cost. The crushing defeat opened another door to martial arts for him. For a top master like him, reaching the next level was no easy feat. "Progress" was often synonymous with "futile efforts" or "going astray." But inspired by the sword strike from Ni Tianxie, his already exceptional martial arts talent gained a different kind of "comprehension." With this comprehension, Rakshasa could become even stronger, as powerful as "Heavenly King" Indra, the Lord of Floating and Sinking, and "Holy Emperor" Ni Tianxie.

And at that time, he would make Ni Tianxie regret letting him go that day.

Because of that potential "comprehension," Ni Tianxie planted the seeds for his own downfall, a person who would take his life today.

Suddenly, a ghostly light shone in the dark cave. A single eye, green with a hint of crimson, was Rakshasa's signature feature. A cold and ruthless voice echoed in the long, dark corridor.

"Who is it?"

Another hoarse voice, like icicles clashing together, rang out at the cave entrance.

"The one who came to kill you..."

Rakshasa, sitting cross-legged on the ground, coldly watched the newcomer stop five zhang away from him. Although the cave was dimly lit, it wasn't a big problem for Shura, who could see the movement of a bird's wings even in the dark. He could even count the number of eyebrows on the newcomer's face.

"It's you..."

"Surprised? Or did you not expect me to find you?"

A pair of cold eyes, sharp and piercing, flashed with a hint of mockery. The last person who dared to speak so arrogantly to him had long since become one of the nutrients for the corpse grass in "Dark Heaven." The reason Rakshasa hadn't made a move immediately was because the newcomer had something that surprised him.

-- "Cold Shura" Dugu Bingxin, like a beast of the night emerging from the darkness, exuded an inexplicable aura as she coldly confronted Rakshasa.

After staring at each other for the time it takes to drink half a cup of tea, Luocha finally spoke: "I never imagined... I never imagined that a junior who was just a second-rate expert back then would now exude a power and latent killing intent surpassing even Dugu Suiyu. No wonder even Yi Shuihan, one of the Nine Extraordinary People, the 'Assassin,' had to die at your hands..."

Dugu Bingxin didn't react much to Luocha's praise, only saying indifferently: "Instead of this nonsense, don't you want to know how I found you?"

Luocha coldly curled his lip and said: "Anyway, it's nothing more than someone tipping you off. Do I need to know? On the contrary, what reason you would have been tricked into coming here to die would be the reason you can't rest in peace in the afterlife."

Because both of them inherently possessed the talent of assassins, even before the actual battle began, the brilliance of their verbal offensive was no less than that of close combat. Even the slightest flaw could become the fatal factor that determined the outcome.

"I'm just curious, why did you come to me?" "

Is there any need to say more? My father, Dugu Suiyu, was killed by you. A son avenging his father—does he need any other reason?"

"I did defeat Dugu Suiyu, but I didn't kill him," Rakshasa said coldly. "Such injuries weren't enough to kill the successor of the 'Asura Undying Body' on the spot. Whether you believe it or not, someone else must have killed him."

"Of course I believe it. Why wouldn't I?" Dugu Bingxin sneered. "Because the one who killed him was me."

"What?!"

Even the cold and composed Rakshasa was taken aback when he heard Dugu Bingxin confess to patricide, giving the latter the opportunity he had been waiting for.

With a whoosh, Dugu Bingxin's fingers twisted, her claws spiraling straight for the target – the Asura Hall's secret martial art, the Asura Soul-Stealing Claw! The

murderous claw shadows swept in like a storm. Rakshasa, having lost the initiative, could only retreat helplessly, but his anger was also ignited. Even when fighting Ni Tianxie, he had never retreated a single step before the outcome was decided. Now, this young junior, who could only be considered "second-tier," had forced him back with a single move?

"Damn 'Cold Asura' Dugu Bingxin, you will definitely pay the price!"

With a furious roar, Rakshasa shook his arms, a powerful and ferocious aura emanating from him. The "War Ghost" was enraged.

"Kijuta Rahu? Assassination Fist!" Rakshasa

stomped his right foot heavily on the ground, his left fist striking Dugu Bingxin with an unusual speed and power. Yet, the fist carried no force or killing intent; it felt utterly hollow, leaving Dugu Bingxin wondering what kind of trickery his opponent was employing.

—Block!

Dugu Bingxin crossed his arms in front of him, expecting to easily block this simple and direct attack. However, as his strong arms met the fist, he felt as if the punch had suddenly vanished. A sharp pain shot through his chest; his "Undying Asura Body" couldn't withstand the force of the blow, tearing open a wound over a foot long, blood gushing out and instantly staining his clothes red.

"How is this possible? How did he hurt me?!" Before his mind could recover from the shock of his immortal body being broken, he saw Rakshasa

throw another punch. He hurriedly swung his arms in a circle to try to block it again, this time using ninety percent of his strength to defend. But the result was the same as before. This time the wound was even deeper, almost breaking the bone.

The techniques of "Kidrahou? Assassination Fist" and "Kidrahou? Assassination Sword" were created by the contemporary master, Ancestor Killer, two hundred years ago! The secret lies in the fact that regardless of whether the user uses a fist or a sword, just before striking the target, they suddenly move parallel to the target's surface with extremely fast motion—speed exceeding the speed of sound. This creates a narrow vacuum between the attack and the target, and in the next instant, the surrounding air rushes into this space, forming a long, sharp shockwave that, under their control, strikes the target, severing it.

This ability to create wounds as if cut by a divine weapon without actually touching the target made Ancestor Killer invincible, allowing him to establish the "Hunter's Guild." Later, Huang Quan, by chance, obtained the secrets of this technique and passed it on to Rakshasa.

"Your 'Asura Undying Body' is utterly ineffective against my Assassination Secret Fist," Rakshasa said. "If you have any other tricks up your sleeve, use them quickly!" "Otherwise, there will be no chance."

Dugu Bingxin first used her halberd fingers to strike repeatedly, sealing several major acupoints on her chest to prevent further blood flow, then coldly said, "So that's how it is... Is it a high-level application technique similar to the Vacuum Slash? I saw it in the Scripture Pavilion in the hall. Isn't this the 'Kijuta Rahu? Assassination Fist' of the Killing Ancestor two hundred years ago? Our ancestors once regarded this fist as the only nemesis of immortality, but that was before my 'Asura War God' appeared."

"Asura War God...?" "

A peerless skill that combines the 'War God' of the invincible War God Xuanwu Emperor more than three hundred years ago with the 'Asura Immortal Body'," Dugu Bingxin said arrogantly, "You will be defeated by this invincible technique, just like Yi Shuihan."

"If you've said enough boasting, then bring it on!" Dugu

Bingxin remained silent, spreading his arms outwards. A flash of purple light crossed his face, and the debris and soil on the ground seemed to be pulled and drawn to him by some force, reforming and condensing into a harder substance that slowly took on the shape of armor, enveloping him.

Compared to when he first used the War God Body against Yi Shuihan, Dugu Bingxin's "Battle Body" was significantly smaller this time, almost identical in appearance to its original form. It lacked the complex and bizarre appearance of its previous three heads and six arms, but the pressure and killing intent it exuded were no less than before. It was clear that Dugu Bingxin's War God Body had reached a new level, a state of returning to simplicity.

Rakshasa did not attack while Dugu Bingxin was gathering the War God Body, but coldly observed his opponent's every move, saying in a chilling voice: "Your aura is completely different from before. It seems this is your true skill..."

The "Asura War God" reappeared, like a dark emperor clad in a suit of skeletal armor. Dugu Bingxin spoke with a cold gaze and a ruthless tone: "Your excessive arrogance is the reason for your defeat today..."

"Heh, then let's see!"

Dugu Bingxin sneered, raising his hand to throw a punch at Rakshasa. The latter reacted without hesitation, raising his elbow to meet the punch, only to find the force of the punch far beyond his imagination, more than twice as great as he had estimated.

Instantly, he could almost hear the sound of his bones shattering. In the nick of time, he used his self-created "Asura Transformation Technique" to deflect and neutralize 30% of the storm-like force of the punch, but 40% still exploded on his arm before he could react, leaving a gruesome wound like that of a ferocious beast!

"You couldn't even withstand one 'Fierce Asura Annihilation Fist'? It seems the Six Paths Shikigami are nothing but empty boasts!" "Dugu Bingxin, undeterred by his own advantage, transformed into a black whirlwind and swept towards Rakshasa. Even before his fist arrived, his intent had already locked onto Rakshasa's essence and spirit, demonstrating that his cultivation had reached the realm of 'Manas Consciousness.

' Rakshasa gritted his teeth and said, 'You think you've won just because you have a slight advantage? Kid, you're dreaming! Asura Thunderclap Technique!'

Rakshasa's fists crossed upwards, then swung down with tremendous force. Dugu Bingxin, who was launching a surprise attack, suddenly felt the surrounding space collapse and surge towards him. Upon contact, the power hidden within erupted, creating a series of thunderous explosions, as if countless hidden lightning bolts were pressing in from him.

'A mere trick, can it break my indestructible War God Body?!'" "

Dugu Bingxin roared, ignoring the surrounding "Hidden Thunder of the Void," and threw a punch at Rakshasa at the same speed. The fierce force of the punch seemed tangible, enough to split mountains and cleave rocks. At this moment, the latter suddenly let out a piercing shriek that made one's teeth ache and heart tremble. Its claws swooped down like an eagle attacking its prey. Dugu Bingxin immediately felt as if her punch had hit something extremely sticky, making it difficult to advance even an inch further.

"Myriad Manifestations of the Universe? Boundless Asura!!" "

Rakshasa roared, his claws sweeping away Dugu Bingxin's fist strike. Taking advantage of the opponent's wide-open defense, he struck the War God's chest with a palm, triggering the "Void Thunder" he had just planted around him.

Dugu Bingxin felt an unprecedented series of explosive pains within his body, as if his soul was about to be separated from his body. His mind went blank, and his body became a powder keg, almost causing even the "Asura War God" to collapse immediately.

Fortunately, his skill had reached the point of effortless control, a state of no thought and no self. Before losing his defensive consciousness, he managed to separate the pain from his six senses, relying solely on instinct to counterattack. He clenched his fists and delivered a powerful blow to Rakshasa's abdomen at the same time.

"Wow!" The

two coughed up blood almost simultaneously, flying backward until they crashed into the wall.

Even with the "Asura War God" body protecting him, Dugu Bingxin was still struck by Rakshasa's attack, which targeted not only his body but also his spirit. Had it not been for his profound skill and unwavering will, he would have been blasted to smithereens, soul and all.

Rakshasa fared no better. Lacking powerful protective techniques and already wounded, he was struck by a full-force attack from the War God, leaving his face and chest stained crimson with blood, his clothes tattered, and even standing seemed a struggle.

Dugu Bingxin's icy gaze, sharp as a blade, pierced through space and landed on Rakshasa: "If we continue, you have no chance of winning. Considering you are a rare warrior, if you choose to end your own life, I can spare your corpse."

Rakshasa's single eye emitted a sharp light that seemed to cut through space as he coldly snorted: "You underestimate the shikigami of the 'Asura Path.' Even if I fight to the point of being utterly destroyed, I will not do anything to dishonor my dignity!" "

Boredom and persistence will only increase your suffering before you embark on your journey!"

"We'll talk about that after you withstand this attack!"

Suddenly, Rakshasa let out a long howl, his crimson hair standing on end like a hedgehog's quills. The air around him parted like arrows, his form resembling an ancient demon, a bloodthirsty wolf. In an instant, his killing intent surged to its peak, even surpassing his uninjured state!

"Dugu Bingxin, to die from the 'Ultimate Strike' is the highest honor for you as a martial artist!"

"Why... he's clearly more seriously injured than me, yet he can exert even greater pressure. Could it be as he says, that he has already mastered the 'Ultimate'?!" Dugu

Bingxin felt the immense pressure emanating from her opponent, recalling her father, Dugu Suiyu's, comments on the legendary "ultimate" martial arts during her training.

—Faced with the moves of a master who had mastered the "ultimate," only by countering with the same "ultimate" move could one have a chance of survival.

At the time, she had scoffed at her father's words, believing that the so-called "ultimate" was nothing but idle speculation, and that moves that could only be comprehended through absolute death were delusional. She never imagined that such a dreamlike technique, once thought impossible, would now appear in the hands of her mortal enemy?

"To hell with it! My 'Asura War God' is superior to the 'War God' of the Primordial Ancestor Xuanwu. Even if my enemy were a resurrected King Yan, I have no reason to lose to him, let alone this cripple who's about to die!"

Dugu Bingxin roared, the earth cracking and the air exploding. Electricity seemed to surge around him, and he mustered all twelve-tenths of his War God's power, preparing to meet his ultimate attack.

"Dugu Bingxin! Go to hell and keep your old man company!"

With a furious shout, Rakshasa slammed his massive right arm out, the force of which shattered the heavens and the earth, carrying the explosive power of a soul strike. The air around him ignited, transforming into a raging dragon that tore through the sky and devoured Dugu Bingxin!

Without using any techniques, just a simple straight punch, it conveyed an invincible consciousness of domineering arrogance, leaving no room for evasion or parrying, like a pure return to simplicity. This punch seemed to encapsulate Rakshasa's entire life; his will, his perseverance, his soul, were all poured into this one punch!

Dugu Bingxin finally understood why his father had said that only the "ultimate" could fight the "ultimate." Faced with this devastating and overwhelming attack, Dugu Bingxin lost faith in her "Asura War God" for the first time in her life. The two were on completely different levels; without the same level of understanding, it was impossible to survive the "ultimate" attack!

In that instant, Dugu Bingxin felt death was so close.

Just as this fierce and unparalleled attack was about to blast Dugu Bingxin's body into ashes, Luocha suddenly shuddered, a sharp pain rising in her dantian. Her blood seemed to turn into sharp thorns, flowing backward to her internal organs. Her breath involuntarily caught in her throat, and her strength and essence rapidly drained away.

"This is... Ni Tianxie! You actually...?!"

Luocha quickly understood the trick. Ni Tianxie had no intention of letting him go. His magnanimity in the Six Paths Holy Temple was merely a pretense; in reality, he had already planted the Eternal Sword Qi within her body, ready to be triggered whenever she used her ultimate attack again. This scheme of using someone else to kill was truly vicious!

--So be it! He should have been defeated and killed back in the Temple long ago, but he couldn't fight a glorious battle before his death, which inevitably left him with some resentment...

The "ultimate" move could not be stopped once it was unleashed, nor could it be reckless. The moment the Eternal Sword Qi within Rakshasa's body was triggered, the raging fist force he had previously unleashed now all rebounded back onto his body, making him like a powder keg ready to explode at any moment, with death imminent!

"What's going on? Is his injury too severe to control the ultimate move, causing him to suffer a qi deviation?"

Although she suspected it was a trick by the enemy, Rakshasa, who had already gained a complete advantage, had no need to play this seemingly useless trick. Before Dugu Bingxin could make a correct analysis rationally, her body had already taken action, and a "Shura Extinction Brand" struck Rakshasa, who was now beset by internal and external troubles and had no ability to fight back.

"You...!" The ease with which she succeeded left Dugu Bingxin stunned.

Compared to his surprise, the defeated one wore a calm and relieved expression: "Very well... Perhaps this is no longer my era, Cold Asura... You'd better watch yourself..."

Without saying anything more, Rakshasa simply revealed a faint smile. In fact, his internal organs and meridians had already been shattered during the backlash of the ultimate power; Dugu Bingxin's palm strike had only accelerated his demise. With a

"boom!", Rakshasa's body exploded into a pile of blood powder.

One of the "Asura Path" shikigami of the Six Paths Realm—"War Demon" Rakshasa—died in battle within "Dark Heaven's" own domain of divine consecration, at the age of thirty-two.

The fall of the old Asura symbolizes the rise of a new Asura.

Having witnessed the power of the "ultimate" power, "Cold Asura" will one day have the opportunity to become the next "Asura War God" after Rakshasa!

Chapter Ten: Breaking the Netherworld Mountain Gate

, August 16th, 344th year of the Xuanwu Calendar, the hundredth day anniversary of the "King of Hell" Jun Nitian's sacrifice.

The newly appointed Third Under Heaven as the leader of the "Mingyue Sect" did not issue any grand invitations to the martial arts world to celebrate the 100th day anniversary of his predecessor and master's death. Instead, he was unusually low-key, even excluding members of the sect other than the most core members. This unusual behavior naturally aroused much speculation.

One theory is that the "Mingyue Sect" is in a precarious situation, and Third Under Heaven was deliberately keeping a low profile to prevent external enemies from taking advantage of the chaos. Another theory is that Jun Nitian killed his own daughter, Jun Tianjiao (after Jun Nitian's death, Grand Tutor Wen immediately announced the true relationship between the three Jun family members to the world), and Jun Tianjiao happened to be Third Under Heaven's beloved. Jun Nitian's actions made Third Under Heaven resentful, so he deliberately did not announce his master's death anniversary.

Ignoring the outside world's clamor, the resolute face of the Third Under Heaven remained silent. Having become even more withdrawn and aloof after his mentor's death, on this gloomy, rainy day, he came to the tombstone of the person he respected most in his life, his mentor, his strict father—"Emperor Yama" Jun Nitian.

The burial place of "Number One Under Heaven" Jun Nitian was unexpectedly simple and plain, but this was the "Emperor Yama's" wish before his death. Apart from a tombstone inscribed "Tomb of Emperor Yama Jun Nitian," there was nothing else on the grave. For this man, any embellishment or praise was superfluous. Jun Nitian's "strength" needed no words; he himself was synonymous with "strong" and "strongest."

A patch of yellow earth, a few clumps of weeds, added a touch of desolation. Once the strongest martial artist in the world, he was now accompanied only by a lonely, desolate grave and a narrow stone tablet. For the past few months, this scene had become the Third Under Heaven's daily destination.

But today was different.

Before Jun Nitian's tombstone, a bouquet of white chrysanthemums, meant for offerings, lay on the ground, emitting a faint fragrance. The identity of the person who could come to Jun Nitian's grave to offer incense and flowers, besides the Third Master of the Underworld Sect, was already obvious.

The Third Master of the Underworld walked to Jun Nitian's tombstone and stopped, looking down at the chrysanthemums on the ground. He murmured in an almost inaudible voice, "Master... Master's wife has finally come to visit you. If you knew in the afterlife, you would be comforted..." With

empty sleeves and bitter eyes, the Third Master of the Underworld silently uncorked the gourd in his hand and poured the empty wine onto the grave soil.

"Master, this is your favorite wine."

Without saying a word about himself, the Third Master of the Underworld did not want to bring worldly affairs to this only remaining sacred place in his heart. Apart from offering a pot of fine wine at Jun Nitian's grave every day, rain or shine, the Third Master of the Underworld had never done anything else at his master's grave.

Even now, Tianxia Sandi harbors no resentment towards Jun Nitian, who is both his teacher and father. If it weren't for Jun Yanhuang taking in this orphan when he was four years old, he would have died a violent death in the streets long ago.

Standing silently before Jun Nitian's grave like this, Tianxia Sandi feels as if his master is still alive, looking at him with stern yet kind eyes. That feeling makes him feel very safe and peaceful...

Just at this moment when time seems to stand still, an intuitive sense from a master makes Tianxia Sandi's half-closed eyes flash with icy light. He slowly raises his head and looks back.

"This feeling... could it be 'him'? But how could 'he' have become so strong? If not, then what is this familiar feeling...?"

The Third Under Heaven's intuition did not deceive him. At the entrance of the "Mingyue Sect" headquarters, a man with silky silver hair, wearing a white robe and cloak, exuded an aura of imperial dominance. With his hands behind his back, his cold eyes and sneer seemed to disregard everyone in the world. "Six Paths Saint Emperor" Ni Tianxie had returned to his birthplace.

Although he was alone, Ni Tianxie's aura was absolutely terrifying. In addition to his imperial dominance, he also possessed a hidden killing intent, making this man even more unfathomable.

When Ni Tianxie stepped onto the land of the "Mingyue Sect" headquarters, the surrounding air suddenly became tense and heavy, as if this man was the embodiment of some kind of ominous force, bringing disaster and death to this land. When the Third Under

Heaven sensed his arrival, Ni Tianxie also sensed the Third Under Heaven at the same time.

"Now that you know I'm here... then do what you're supposed to do!"

With a slight sneer, Ni Tianxie's body seemed to be enveloped in a faint halo. He walked leisurely, as if strolling in his own courtyard, step by step into the headquarters of the "Mingyue Sect."

Such a "open and aboveboard" visit naturally couldn't avoid alerting the guards inside the headquarters. However, Ni Tianxie's identity was extraordinary; after all, he was the biological son of the former sect leader. Therefore, without instructions from above, they dared not take any action against this "young sect leader" and could only let him enter as if no one else was there.

Ni Tianxie swaggered into the heart of the headquarters until he began walking towards the residence of his birth mother, Yu Baixue. Suddenly, his sword-like eyebrows furrowed, and he stopped with a smile, saying, "Heh, finally willing to come out?"

Following Ni Tianxie's gaze, the gaunt and aloof figure of the third-ranked disciple in the world had appeared without anyone noticing, like an insurmountable mountain blocking his path.

However, Ni Tianxie was no longer the same as before. Now, even gods, ghosts, demons, and monsters could not stand in his way.

The Third Under Heaven stared at Ni Tianxie with surprise, exclaiming, "It really is you! How did you become like this?"

Ni Tianxie narrowed his eyes, looked up at the Third Under Heaven, and smiled, "Senior Brother, it's been a long time."

Ni Tianxie's unexpected politeness did not lower the Third Under Heaven's guard. Although his junior brother was usually a two-faced person, this time, behind his gentle smile, the Third Under Heaven sensed a different aura, an aura no less powerful than that of "Yan Huang" Jun Ni Tian.

What had happened to him that caused such a dramatic change?

Ni Tianxie seemed completely oblivious to the Third Master's hostility, still leisurely standing with his hands behind his back, seemingly without any defense: "Senior Brother, why do you look so serious? Do you need to be so wary of your junior brother?"

The Third Master felt an inscrutable aura towards Ni Tianxie, and he needed to do something to break the deadlock: "What are you doing here?"

Ni Tianxie chuckled: "Isn't it redundant for Senior Brother to ask this question? Does a wanderer need a reason to return home?"

The Third Master's expression remained cold: "You've never considered the Mingyue Sect your home. Let's be frank! Did you come for Master's wife?"

Ni Tianxie remained unmoved, giving a thumbs-up and smiling: "Senior Brother is indeed insightful. I am indeed Luo Kunqiao."

The Third Master shook his head: "I cannot let you see Master's wife. You should go back!"

Ni Tianxie seemed to have anticipated this, and asked with interest: "Why?"

“Master once said that if one day a change appears in you that even I cannot see through, I must stop you from meeting Master’s wife at all costs.”

Upon hearing this, a complex look flashed in Ni Tianxie’s eyes, a hint of desolation and regret, but it was only for a moment. Then his expression returned to normal, and he laughed loudly, “Even if you’re dead, you’ll still oppose me? But I want to know, now that you’re gone, Senior Brother, what right do you have to control me!”

As Ni Tianxie spoke the last sentence, his domineering and evil aura gushed out like a fountain. Not only the third-ranked disciple closest to him, but even the other disciples dozens of feet away felt this aura. Everyone looked at Ni Tianxie with awe and fear, a feeling very similar to the way they had looked at Jun Nitian.

The Third Under Heaven said in a deep voice, "So you're finally willing to tell the truth? I don't know what changes have occurred in you that have made you so reckless, but if you insist on disobeying Master's last words, I have no choice but to stop you with force."

There was a hint of mockery in Ni Tianxie's tone: "Want to stop me? Senior Brother, do you know one thing? Ever since I was old enough to understand, I've always had one wish: to smash your arrogant nose into your zombie-like face."

"Then what are you waiting for? Come and try!"

"Alright! Senior Brother, come and stop me!"

With their positions so clear, a fight was inevitable. After his "rebirth," Ni Tianxie no longer used psychological tactics to attack his opponents like his previous personality. Having absolute confidence in his strength, he adopted the most direct and effective offensive. Without any visible movement, a sword beam flashing with indescribable light pierced towards the Third Under Heaven.

"Is this all the progress you've made? That's truly disappointing!"

The Third Under Heaven roared, his right arm flashing. The "Peerless Demon Blade," wielding his hand as a blade, unleashed a jet-black blade of light that slashed at the brilliant sword light, splitting the sword energy like silk being cut. The attack, a combination of deflection and strike, hurtled towards Ni Tianxie.

Ni Tianxie maintained his leisurely posture, hands behind his back, seemingly slow but actually swift as he floated backward, the blade of light always within a foot of his face.

Ni Tianxie smiled and praised, "Good, Senior Brother, your skill has improved again. I imagine you've been practicing diligently every day since the old man died! Seeing how well you wield the sword techniques left by the old man, I'm itching to try them out myself and ask for your guidance." As he spoke the last word, his toes stomped heavily on the ground: "Senior Brother, come and take my peerless demonic sword!"

As soon as the word "take" was uttered, Ni Tianxie suddenly transformed into a tornado, spinning on the spot. Countless sword energies spread out from the tornado like a collapsing mountain of swords, and this sword energy, similar to that of the Third Under Heaven, instantly pulverized the fading black light.

"What? This is the 'Blood Sea Momentum' from the peerless demonic sword! Tianxie can actually unleash this move with the same power as when Master himself used it!"

The shock on the Third Under Heaven's face was undisguised. Ni Tianxie's true strength was only a small demonstration, yet it already made the former feel the need to reassess the enemy's strength.

"What's wrong, Senior Brother? I sense your surprise. Did I use the old man's ultimate move better than you, and that surprised you? Hahaha!"

With the unleashing of his "Blood Sea Force," Ni Tianxie transformed into a tornado, the blade energy within it enough to shred anything caught in it. This storm, carrying the force of destruction, hurtled towards the Third Under Heaven, intent on pulverizing him!

Furthermore, the tornado-like blade wind emanated a sense of "contempt" and "mockery," as if Ni Tianxie were telling the Third Under Heaven, "You cripple, you'll always be below me!"

The Third Under Heaven could definitely receive the formless sensation conveyed by his "Manas Consciousness," which enraged him.

"Alright! Tianxie, do you want to see my true strength? Then I'll show you!"

The Third Under Heaven gritted his teeth, his five fingers clenched tightly, and the veins on his arm bulged like poisonous dragons crawling in the ground. He then shouted "Boom!" Accompanied by a simple hook punch, the force of the punch was like a dragon soaring into the sky, carrying endless power as it clashed with the blade energy. It actually turned around and stopped and shattered the dragon tornado blade momentum of the Heavenly Evil.

The sword's momentum was broken, revealing Ni Tianxie's unperturbed yet amused figure. He said, "Wonderful! I didn't expect you to have such a trump card. This old man kept this treasure in reserve so that you could one day use it to restrain me! It's just a pity that your 'enlightenment' isn't enough, Senior Brother. You can't unleash the full power of this punch. In the end, your fate will only be—defeat! The cycle of heaven—!"

Ni Tianxie suddenly coiled his body like a pangolin, dodging the second strike of the "Heaven-Shattering" punch. Then, he clapped his hands together, propped himself up, and his right foot struck the only opening left by the third-ranked opponent's attack with lightning speed. This strange and cunning kick was timed perfectly, when the opponent's old strength was exhausted and new strength had not yet been generated. It left the third-ranked opponent with no room to dodge. The force of the kick entered his body and caused a chain reaction of explosions within him. While retreating, he also had to constantly suppress the surging latent energy, and for a moment, he almost lost the ability to fight back.

Facing a top expert like the Third Under Heaven, Ni Tianxie didn't even need to use his ultimate move, the "Sword of Eternal Life." He was already suppressing Ni Tianxie with his self-comprehended "Peerless Demon Blade" and "Heavenly Dao" martial arts. Just how terrifying has Ni Tianxie's true strength reached?

The Third Under Heaven was blasted back seven zhang by Ni Tianxie's kick. Although his physical injuries weren't serious, the psychological trauma was comprehensive and unprecedented—he "felt" that his opponent hadn't even used his true strength. To be "let off the match" by this junior brother who had always been below him was an unbearable humiliation for someone holding the title of "Third Under Heaven." Moreover, he carried the reputation of the entire "Mingyue Sect" on his shoulders. Even if he died a glorious death, he couldn't admit defeat!

"Damn it! Tianxie, if you truly enrage me, you will pay a heavy price!"

Tianxia Sandi roared, gathering twelve percent of his power into his arm, ready to unleash a devastating attack equivalent to "ultimate" power, using the ultimate technique passed down from his master to kill his master's only surviving son!

Ni Tianxie's eyes flashed with mockery, his voice, though not deliberately raised, was clearly heard by everyone in the arena.

"What can ultimate power do to me...?"

If Tianxia Sandi still had a sliver of clarity, he would have considered the meaning behind Ni Tianxie's words, but now he was like a wounded beast, blinded by rage, and wouldn't consider the consequences of this attack!

Just when the inevitable life-or-death clash seemed unavoidable, an incredibly beautiful voice, like celestial music, appeared in the arena, ending the deadly battle.

"Stop—"

The voice, though not particularly authoritative, was the only reason in the world to stop the two from fighting. She was the person the third most powerful person in the world wanted to protect, the person Ni Tianxie wanted to take away, their master's wife/mother—Yu Baixue!

Although it sounded unbelievable, the moment Yu Baixue appeared, everyone in the arena seemed to smell a faint, sweet fragrance, instantly extinguishing the tense atmosphere. The charm of the most beautiful woman in the world—Yu Baixue—remained as captivating as ever.

From the moment Yu Baixue appeared, Ni Tianxie's gaze never left her for a moment, as if everyone else was insignificant to him.

He cast a charmingly wicked smile at his mother, saying happily, "Mother, I've come to take you home."

Yu Baixue's clear, calm eyes revealed a hint of sorrow and helplessness: "Home? Do I still have a home? Where is there a place for an unlucky person like me to return to?"

Ni Tianxie smiled and said, "Of course you do. Father is gone. In this world, only Mother remains as my only blood relative. I swear, as long as I live, I will never let Mother suffer any more injustice."

Yu Baixue's gaze met Ni Tianxie's, and her delicate body trembled involuntarily. She weakly said, "I never want to have any contact with your Jun family again. Please let me go!"

Ni Tianxie said calmly, "If Mother refuses to come with me today, I may have to kill everyone here so that Mother can return with me without any worries."

His tone was calm, yet it carried an unquestionable confidence in his resolve, and the cruelty revealed in his words sent chills down one's spine.

A heartbreaking pallor flashed across Yu Baixue's fair cheeks. She closed her eyes and said helplessly, "I promise you."

Chapter Eleven: The Master of Ups and Downs

To say that Yu Baixue's position in the "Mingyue Sect" was a history of ups and downs filled with blood and tears would not be an exaggeration.

Although nominally the wife of "Number One Ruler Under Heaven" Jun Nitian, the title "Sect Master's Wife" was far too heavy a decoration for Yu Baixue.

From the very beginning, she had not willingly become Jun Nitian's wife. Yu Baixue spent most of her time in seclusion within the sect, never stepping outside the "Mingyue Sect" for twenty years. Most of the sect members had never even seen their legendary "Mistress."

In the eyes of some radicals within the sect, Yu Baixue could even be considered a sinner of the "Mingyue Sect." They believed that the main reason for the Mingyue Sect's stagnation in recent years was that Jun Nitian, for the sake of his wife who disliked bloodshed, deliberately suppressed the pace of external expansion and even tacitly approved the establishment of the "White Path Alliance." All these self-defeating actions were because of Yu Baixue.

When Jun Nitian was alive, he ruled with absolute authority as the "King of Hell," and everyone dared not speak out against him. But after Jun Nitian "died" at the Peak of Life and Death, the situation changed drastically.

"Yu Baixue is nothing but an ominous scourge! The 'Jade Emperor Palace' was destroyed because of her, and the sect leader was framed and injured because of her, which led to his untimely death in a series of fierce battles. Her eldest daughter was also killed by her, and her own son harbors abnormal feelings for her. Anyone who gets involved with this woman will not have a good end!"

In the eyes of discerning people, such statements are simply a one-sided distortion of the outcome, full of specious and malicious remarks. However, there are too few thoughtful people in this world, and too many people who believe what they hear. In the end, the result is that Yu Baixue has become a "nine-tailed fox demon" who has brought disaster to the world. The calls for her punishment or banishment are so loud that they are almost turning into a riot.

Amidst overwhelming public opinion, the only one standing against the tide, with unwavering resolve like a boulder against crashing waves, was Jun Nitian's eldest disciple—the Third Under Heaven!

With his ghostly eyes and tightly pursed lips, he defied the prevailing opinion, his profound authority even reminiscent of Jun Nitian's own life. The Third Under Heaven didn't explain his reasons; in truth, he held no personal feelings towards Yu Baixue, but he knew Yu Baixue was someone Jun Nitian valued, and that was enough!

The Third Under Heaven didn't intentionally position himself as the inheritor of Jun Nitian's will, but he knew it was the only way to repay his master's nurturing grace. Regardless of how the world viewed him, or even what they thought of him, he would act according to his own will!

Thanks to the Third Under Heaven's steadfast protective will, Yu Baixue was finally able to remain in the "Mingyue Sect" after Jun Nitian's death. Although this might not have been the latter's desired outcome, Yu Baixue truly had no better place to go; rather, the person involved no longer cared about his final resting place.

Having long lost all will to live, the only reason she hadn't gone to the other world was because she knew that if her own son ever underwent the terrifying changes she feared, only she could stop him!

And now was the time for her to step forward.

Hearing Yu Baixue personally agree to his request, a flicker of undisguised joy flashed in Ni Tianxie's eyes, but he quickly regained his composure and smiled, "Mother is indeed a wise woman. Let's go then!"

Yu Baixue looked at Ni Tianxie, hesitating to speak, "You...you are...which Tianxie...?"

Only a very few people in the room understood the true meaning behind Yu Baixue's question. Ni Tianxie revealed an elegant, impeccable smile and said calmly, "I thought Mother should have known the answer to this question long ago."

Yu Baixue's delicate body trembled, an indescribable sorrow flashing across her beautiful eyes. She lowered her head and said, "Is that so? Tianxie...finally too..." "…"

Ni Tianxie laughed, "Which Ni Tianxie is Mother referring to? I'm standing right in front of you, perfectly fine!"

Yu Baixue forced a helpless smile and said, "It's alright, let's go!"

At this moment, Tianxia Sandi shouted, "Wait a minute!"

Ni Tianxie turned around upon hearing this, a sharp and ruthless killing intent flashing in his eyes, but the smile on his lips remained impeccable: "Senior Brother, my mother has already personally agreed to come with me, are you still going to continue meddling in other people's family affairs?"

Tianxia Sandi's face showed a resolute determination born of realization: "I will not go against Master's last wish before his death, and Master's wife absolutely cannot go with you…"

Ni Tianxie merely sneered upon hearing this, but everyone present, near and far, suddenly felt as if their hearts were being tightly gripped by an invisible hand, an oppressive killing intent that made it hard to even breathe. Some of the lesser experts in the arena finally realized that Ni Tianxie wasn't just boasting or joking; he genuinely possessed the strength to slaughter them all!

None of the Mingyue Sect members present were weak; many were warriors who had faced death and shed blood on the battlefield. Yet, they all felt a long-lost sense of dread...

as if they had encountered a tiger or leopard in the wild long ago, before they had mastered martial arts—a chill that felt like their entire back was immersed in ice water, a feeling of encountering a "natural enemy"... Before this silver-haired youth, they seemed like nothing more than lambs to the slaughter.

Only Yu Baixue remained unaffected by the chilling killing intent, demonstrating that Ni Tianxie's cultivation had reached a level of complete control and effortless mastery. Even the resurrected Jun Nitian and Ding Chenyi could not match the prowess of his "Manas Consciousness."

Ni Tianxie maintained his original posture, but the pressure on everyone only increased.

"Senior Brother, if you continue to insist on blocking my way, I will kill everyone here first! You can't stop me; think carefully about the consequences!"

"You…!"

The Third Under Heaven was furious, his veins bulging. He knew in his heart that Ni Tianxie's words were not boasting. Judging from the agility Ni Tianxie had just displayed, if he deliberately avoided battle and indiscriminately killed innocents, the Third Under Heaven wasn't absolutely certain he wouldn't be caught in the crossfire. He understood that because of Yu Baixue's situation, many within the sect had questioned his leadership style. If he insisted on protecting Yu Baixue today, even at the cost of his disciples' lives, he would find it difficult to lead as sect leader in the future.

Ni Tianxie saw through this, which is why he used everyone's lives as leverage to blackmail him.

Just as Tianxia San was caught in a dilemma, Yu Baixue suddenly said to him, "Third Nephew..."

"Master's Wife..."

Before speaking, Tianxia San did feel an unusual embarrassment. In his memory, this was the first time Yu Baixue had spoken to him first.

Yu Baixue's face showed an unprecedented calm and relief. Although it was hard to believe, Tianxia San did feel a similar majesty to that of "Yan Huang" Jun Ni Tian emanating from Yu Baixue.

"I want to ask my nephew for a favor."

"Master's Wife, please speak. I will do my best to fulfill your request."

Yu Baixue revealed an unusual smile: "I want you to let me and my child leave the Mingyue Sect."

"This..." Although he had already vaguely guessed Yu Baixue's request, Tianxia San still couldn't help but be taken aback when she actually made this difficult request.

Yu Baixue spoke in a gentle tone that no one could refuse, "Nephew, you reap what you sow. Now it's time for me to reap what I sow. I hope you can understand."

"Master's wife..." Tianxia Sandi wanted to say something, but when he saw the enlightened expression on Yu Baixue's face, he knew that anything he said would be superfluous.

As expected of the woman favored by "Yanhuang" Jun Nitian, she was in no way inferior in terms of wisdom and courage

. If it weren't for the tricks of fate, the two of them should have been a perfect couple. Tianxia Sandi shook his head, trying to banish this ridiculous assumption from his mind, and when he spoke again, his tone revealed a hint of respect.

"I understand, Master's wife. If that is your wish..."

Yu Baixue smiled and said, "Thank you, nephew." Her smile carried a gratitude and apology that she would never see again in this life.

Ni Tianxie approached Yu Baixue and said to Tianxia Sandi, "You should feel fortunate that today is the day we, mother and son, are reunited, so I don't want to see blood."

Tianxia Sandi didn't say anything more; any unnecessary words at this time and place would only make him appear more dejected. He simply watched coldly as Ni Tianxie's right hand grasped Yu Baixue's slender waist, and he whispered softly in her ear, "Can we go now, Mother?"

Yu Baixue nodded slightly. Ni Tianxie laughed loudly, and with her in tow, they soared into the sky like shooting stars, disappearing in an instant.

Tianxia Sandi gazed in the direction they had gone, his eyes thoughtful. After a long while, he whispered in a voice only he could hear, "What you sow, you reap... What will be the outcome for me...?"

Ni Tianxie made no attempt to conceal their mother-son relationship, holding Yu Baixue close as they ran, enjoying the satisfaction of being embraced by her warm fragrance, a rare, genuine, and joyful smile on his face.

Yu Baixue's feelings were far more complex and painful than her son's. Towards this unfathomable offspring, Yu Baixue felt more fear than love. She could sense an undisguised, wicked desire emanating from him, and that wickedness was clearly directed at her, sending chills down her spine with every glance.

At the same time, a powerful masculine scent, and an indescribable, strange feeling, surged through her like waves, sending a strange, electric-like pleasure through her body.

For thirty-seven years, Yu Baixue had never been so close to any other man besides Jun Nitian, and even figures like Jun Yanhuang or "Double Gun" Tan Zilong couldn't give her this feeling.

However, along with this strange pleasure, an equally intense sense of guilt also assailed her.

—Yu Baixue, oh Yu Baixue! How shameless are you? Even being held by your own son gives you pleasure?

Yu Baixue was caught in a vortex of self-reproach and pleasure, so she didn't notice that a bright but not dazzling white pillar of light suddenly shot into the sky ahead of them. She also didn't notice the obvious darkening of Ni Tianxie's expression when he spotted the pillar.

"Looks like today is truly a good day. Even the Holy Lord of the 'Bodhi Throne' has personally come. Hmph! Whether three hundred years ago or three hundred years later, have I ever been afraid of you? Anyone who dares to interfere with my plans will be killed, whether god or Buddha!"

Ni Tianxie's unusually displeased tone pulled Yu Baixue back to reality. When her gaze fell on the pillar of light, she exclaimed in surprise, "What...what is that?"

Ni Tianxie sneered, "Just an old bald monk who loves to play tricks. I had to swat away the fly that flew too close. Mother, please wait a moment longer."

"You...you're going to kill someone again? The other side might not even be after us, so let's not cause any more trouble!"

Ni Tianxie laughed, "Mother is truly kind-hearted, but sometimes things aren't as simple as we think. Even if a person doesn't intend to harm a tiger, the tiger might still have the intention to kill. In the end, it must end with the death or submission of one side."

After Ni Tianxie finished speaking, his momentum suddenly changed, heading towards the pillar of light. Before Yu Baixue could make any further move, he landed in front of the pillar of light, and then they both saw the figure in the pillar of light.

Completely opposite to the image of the "old bald monk who pretends to be a ghost," the person in the pillar of light wore a white monk's robe, with long white hair that was whiter than snow and frosty, fluttering even without wind. His face was surprisingly young, and his skin was as smooth as a newborn baby's, but his deep blue eyes, which seemed to have seen through the vicissitudes of life, formed a strong contrast with his appearance.

His features revealed a compassionate and serene quality, like that of a Bodhisattva, yet also carried a gentle yet powerful majesty. His aura emanated from within, seemingly coexisting with nature. Outwardly, he showed no trace of a martial arts master, but Yu Baixue, who had spent countless days with a peerless expert like Jun Nitian, inexplicably sensed that he was a master of equal caliber to her late husband.

The evidence was that his body was within a pillar of light, emanating from him, connecting heaven and earth, his feet dangling half a foot in the air. Everything seemed like an unbelievable miracle, yet it occurred so naturally within him, giving one an aura of ethereal bliss.

This feeling came without any basis, it could only be described as an intuition, but judging from Ni Tianxie's reaction at this moment, Yu Baixue was almost certain that her feeling was not wrong.

"What! This light that shot straight to the heavens actually came from this person, how is this possible?"

After landing, Ni Tianxie immediately released his right hand that had been wrapped around Yu Baixue's waist. The latter hurriedly distanced herself from him, but at the same time, an indescribable sense of loss rose in her heart, as if her body still longed for the closeness of her own son.

Ni Tianxie seemed completely unaware of Yu Baixue's inner struggle. When his handsome eyes met those of the person in the pillar of light, it was as if a few sparks flew in the air.

The spiritual light around the white-haired monk suddenly weakened and faded, making his previously illusory appearance even clearer.

This person had a face like jade, with flawless features and an ancient and solemn temperament, but it was impossible to tell his true age. His calm and composed demeanor, like that of an enlightened monk, and his unusually young and handsome appearance seemed to have a mysterious and infinitely harmonious fusion.

Yu Baixue knew that the true age of those with profound Qi cultivation could not be determined by their appearance. For example, Jun Nitian and Tan Zilong were both over sixty years old, but they looked only in their early thirties. In other words, the young appearance of this white-haired monk proved that his cultivation had reached the realm of returning to simplicity and rejuvenation.

A calm, unhurried voice, like the sound of a morning bell or evening drum, emanated from the white-haired monk: "We have finally met, Madam Jun, Young Master Jun."

Yu Baixue was filled with questions. Although she knew the other party might not have come with good intentions, her upbringing and family education allowed her to maintain her composure: "May I ask who you are...?"

The white-haired monk replied: "I am the current chief of the 'Bodhi Dharma Seat,' my Dharma name is Master of Floating and Sinking!"

"Bodhi Dharma Seat?!"

Yu Baixue had heard of the "Bodhi Dharma Seat" from Xiao Shiqing. It was said to be a place where a group of Buddhist masters who did not concern themselves with worldly affairs gathered to cultivate. Anyone who came out of it had the strength of a seven-sect sect leader or one of the nine extraordinary people. Xiao Shiqing herself highly praised the successor of the Dharma Seat, "Guanyin Heavenly Maiden" Fan Xindi, which showed the unfathomable strength of the Dharma Seat.

"The Lord of Ups and Downs? Hmph, what a boastful tone! You mean you control the rise and fall of all things? Then what about me, the Holy Emperor of the Six Paths?"

Ni Tianxie's face, which had been cold and stern ever since he came into contact with the white light pillar, was now even more tense, as if a storm was about to break. A cruel, devilish smile appeared on his lips, but only Yu Baixue knew that this was the prelude to his murderous intent.

The white-haired monk, who called himself "Lord of Floating and Sinking," remained unperturbed by Ni Tianxie's provocative words. Instead, he clasped his hands together and said, "Amitabha, so you, Benefactor, admit it without hesitation."

Ni Tianxie smiled, hands behind his back, "Why deny it? I am indeed the reincarnation of your Dharma Seat's nemesis—the Six Paths Holy Emperor. You've traveled a great distance just to hear this, haven't you?"

The Lord of Floating and Sinking nodded, "However, according to astrological intuition, the Holy Emperor's natal star suddenly shone brightly and then went dark a few days ago. What explanation do you have for this, Benefactor?"

Ni Tianxie laughed, "Great monk, you do indeed possess some skill. You were able to discern something amiss simply through the art of observing the stars. The Holy Emperor is indeed residing within me, but not in the way he initially intended, in a simple..." "In short, it's the four words 'reversal of roles'."

Upon hearing this, the Lord of Floating and Sinking was shocked. His eyes, like deep, dark pools, slowly closed, and he sighed, "So that's how it is. So the immortality that the Holy Emperor pursued throughout his life ended up like this! Alas."

Chapter Twelve: The Great Brahma Law

"Heh!" Ni Tianxie sneered, "The great monk is indeed a clever man. I only gave you a hint, and you already understand the ins and outs."

The Lord of Floating and Sinking clasped his hands together and said, "To be able to make the Six Paths Holy Emperor miscalculate, Benefactor Jun is truly a genius who appears only once in a thousand years."

Ni Tianxie waved his hand and sneered, "You don't need to flatter me. Half of the Holy Emperor's failure was due to his bad luck, not entirely caused by me."

"I see. I was also wondering how the Holy Emperor, with his centuries of cultivation, could have ended up with such a complete loss." The Lord of Floating and Sinking said, "Thank you, Benefactor Jun, for resolving my first question. However, I have another question I would like to ask you."

The Demon Lord, unusually generous, replied, "Ask away. But please don't call me 'Benefactor Jun' anymore. Jun Tianxie is a name from the past. My current name is—Demon Lord of Floating and Sinking." He paused slightly, revealing a hollow, arrogant, and domineering smile: "Or you can call me 'Peerless Evil God'."

The Lord of Floating and Sinking trembled upon hearing this, then slowly said, "I see… then…" "You don't need to ask my second question anymore."

Ni Tianxie laughed, "The Great Monk originally wanted to ask me whether, having inherited the martial arts and spiritual power of the Holy Emperor, I also inherited the Six Paths Realm's crazy ideology of destroying the world and saving it. But now you feel there's no need for that, is that right?"

The Lord of Floating and Sinking said, "Since you've abandoned the title of the Six Paths Holy Monk, I believe that Benefactor Ni has no intention of destroying the world and being reborn. But from Benefactor's words just now, I sensed another burning desire."

Ni Tianxie laughed, "As expected of the Great Monk, nothing can be hidden from you. I truly have no intention of destroying the world. This world was originally mine to possess. What reason would I have to destroy my beloved toy?"

--This...is this really my son? This arrogant and domineering aura is even greater than that of Jun Nitian back then. What kind of changes have occurred in him?

Yu Baixue stared in astonishment at Ni Tianxie, who was completely different from before. That wild and domineering aura truly lived up to his title of "Peerless Evil God"!

The Lord of Floating and Sinking clasped his hands and said, "Amitabha, it is indeed good that you, Benefactor, have such lofty ambitions, but your path to becoming emperor will inevitably be accompanied by countless corpses and rivers of blood. I urge you, Benefactor, to think twice before you act."

The Demon Lord of Rebellion arrogantly replied, "One general's success is built on the bones of ten thousand; this principle has always been true. If Heaven does not tolerate me, I will defy Heaven; if gods obstruct me, I will kill them; if Buddhas obstruct me, I will kill them!"

The Lord of Floating and Sinking said, "If you, Benefactor, insist on this course of action, to avoid further bloodshed, I have no choice but to 'request' you..." "Come with me back to the Bodhi Throne, hoping to cleanse your heart of tyranny with boundless Buddhist teachings."

Ni Tianxie laughed, "Finally, you're getting to the point? This is your true purpose in coming here! But you want me to go back with you? Do you think you have the corresponding strength?"

The Lord of Floating and Sinking sighed, "If this is fate, then even knowing my strength is insufficient, I can only try my best."

Ni Tianxie sneered, a strange light flashing in his eyes, burning towards the Lord of Floating and Sinking.

The Lord of Floating and Sinking remained unmoved, two halos of light also appearing in his green eyes as he met Ni Tianxie's gaze.

Their gazes clashed in mid-air, as if exploding with a series of sparks.

"Stop..."

Yu Baixue saw the atmosphere between the two suddenly change and wanted to speak to stop them, but as soon as she lifted her jade foot and opened her jade mouth, she found that her movements and voice were blocked by an invisible wall three feet around her, unable to move forward or raise her voice.

Although Yu Baixue's martial arts skills were not enough to be considered top-tier, her insight and knowledge were exceptional. She slowly raised her jade-like arms and pushed them forward, only to find that the surrounding air had become stagnant, as if a flexible, invisible substance surrounded her. No matter how hard Yu Baixue tried, she could not break through this three-foot space. The entire space seemed to be unified under a mysterious will, and this space had become her private prison! Ni

Tianxie had no need to trap her. Only the Lord of Floating and Sinking in that arena had this ability, but to be able to silently set up this invisible energy wall more than a foot thick showed that the Lord of the Bodhi Seat had profound skills, no less than those of extraordinary experts like Jun Nitian or Ding Chenyi.

The Lord of Floating and Sinking cast a kind smile at Yu Baixue, saying, "Madam Yu, rest assured, I have no ill intentions towards you. As long as you remain within this Buddhist Vow Formation, I guarantee you will not suffer any harm." A

duel between peerless masters like the Lord of Floating and Sinking and Ni Tianxie would inevitably be earth-shattering, a battle that would destroy the heavens and the earth, and even the sun and stars. Ni Tianxie's martial arts were primarily domineering, and when he went all out, he couldn't consider others, unlike the Lord of Floating and Sinking's Buddhist mental cultivation method, which was gentle and benevolent. Only he possessed such a compassionate heart

, protecting others from harm before the final showdown. Unfortunately, the Lord of Floating and Sinking's good intentions were completely counterproductive to the arrogant and possessive Ni Tianxie.

"Thank you for your kindness, Great Monk, but I will protect my own woman; I need not trouble others!"

Ni Tianxie was truly enraged. He laughed loudly, raised his right hand, and flicked out his five fingers, unleashing the first move of the Eternal Sword—Everything is Extraordinary! Instantly, the invisible energy transformed into tangible sword beams, so dense they seemed to spill mercury onto the ground, sweeping towards the Lord of Floating and Sinking at the very center.

"Indeed, it's the Holy Emperor's strongest technique—the Sword of Eternity!"

Faced with the peerless swordsmanship that the Six Paths Holy Emperor claimed to be invincible over three hundred years ago, even the mighty Lord of Floating and Sinking showed a hint of seriousness for the first time. His "Manas Consciousness" fully activated, instantly grasping the direction and force of all the sword energy. His eyes shone with a terrifying light, as if he had found a way to counter it.

The Lord of Floating and Sinking didn't move his hands or feet, yet the space around him suddenly rippled like water, clarity and blur alternating in an instant. At the same moment this phenomenon appeared, tens of thousands of Eternal Sword energies fell to the earth like raindrops, instantly absorbed without a trace, prompting an absurd thought—the invisible space had taken the blow for the Lord of Floating and Sinking.

Despite missing his first attack, Ni Tianxie laughed instead of getting angry, saying, "Good! This must be the 'Great Brahma Heart Method,' hailed as the highest supreme technique of the Bodhi Seat! Truly wondrous."

"Nothingness, no self, neither thing nor self, Brahma without form embraces all things, annihilating all sentient beings, Subhuti..." The Lord of Floating and Sinking chanted a Buddhist mantra, his palms clasped together, his countenance solemn and dignified, like a Buddha.

Ni Tianxie laughed, "Even if you are truly a reincarnation of a god or Buddha, my Eternal Sword Technique is precisely the sword that kills gods!"

Ni Tianxie pointed with both sword fingers, a blue light shooting out like lightning, swirling in layers before engulfing the Lord of Floating and Sinking.

A chilling killing intent, sharp and precise, pierced his face. The Lord of Floating Life remained calm, his eyes snapping open. A silent, colorless lightning bolt flashed in mid-air, followed by a sudden dimming of the entire space. His figure blurred, and Ni Tianxie simultaneously felt as if his sword finger had pierced a wad of cotton. The power of nothingness was incredibly potent, capable of neutralizing the relentless onslaught of his mortal sword energy.

Ni Tianxie's handsome eyes brightened, and he sneered, "So that's how it is."

When a martial artist's cultivation reaches the "Manas Consciousness" realm, the power they can control transcends the ordinary. By combining the primordial energy of heaven and earth, including natural elements like wind, fire, thunder, and lightning, they can unleash incredible transformations in conjunction with their own power.

The Lord of Floating Life's cultivation had undoubtedly reached the "Manas Consciousness" level, and Ni Tianxie was almost certain that the natural power he had comprehended and mastered through his "Great Brahma Heart Method" was one of the most difficult to control—space!

The secret of the "Great Brahma Heart Method" lies in "entering and exiting between existence and non-existence." In defense, one uses "non-existence" to counter the enemy's "existence"; in attack, one uses "existence" to view the opponent as "non-existence." This is precisely "Brahma's formlessness encompasses all things," making one virtually invincible. Fortunately, Ni Tianxie possessed all the memories of the battle between the Six Paths Holy Emperor and the Bodhi Dharma Seat's Holy Lord over three hundred years ago, and thus had a way to counter the "Great Brahma Heart Method."

-- The Second Form of the Sword of Eternity, Thus Have I Heard!

Yu Baixue suddenly felt her body tighten, as if an external force had cut into the space that had bound her, but her spirit inexplicably relaxed, and the surrounding air seemed to thin out. Then she found herself able to move freely.

"Manipulating space isn't your exclusive domain, Great Monk!"

Ni Tianxie laughed loudly, spreading his arms and soaring into the sky. Suddenly, a dazzling sword light, astonishingly bright, emanated from his body. The sword energy grew with the wind, seemingly extending ten thousand feet in an instant, standing tall between heaven and earth. With a loud shout, man and sword became one, and he cleaved down from the sky!

-- The third move of the Sword of Eternal World, Sword Piercing the Void!

The entire space seemed to be cleaved in two by Ni Tianxie's sword, scattering into the air and heading straight for the Lord of Floating and Sinking!

The Lord of Floating and Sinking knew that this sword was extraordinary, and finally made his move. He circled his palms outward, and the power of the Great Brahma's vows flowed out continuously. He activated the eighth level of his mental technique, "Worldly Understanding," and his entire mind seemed to become infinitely large, transforming the microscopic into the macroscopic, directly merging himself with the heavens and the earth. Any massive energy that invaded this macroscopic world would undoubtedly be disintegrated.

But this sword strike from Ni Tianxie was born from the comprehension of "ultimate" power, transforming himself into a god and directly bringing the microscopic and macroscopic worlds under his rule. This sword strike seemed to be the work of a celestial master, faintly possessing the power to command mountains and rivers, and to position the sun, moon, and stars. The

supremely powerful sword energy slashed into the "Worldly Solution" domain of the Lord of Floating and Sinking, followed by a loud "pop!" The entire world seemed to tremble from the clash between the two, followed by an unimaginable force exploding in an umbrella shape. Yu Baixue, caught in the blast, had no time to react and could only wait for the force to engulf her.

Suddenly, a figure appeared from nothingness, blocking her way, spreading his palms apart, and actually withstood this earth-shattering force. Yu Baixue, who was blocked behind that person, wasn't even a hair on her head.

"You... Tianxie!"

In Yu Baixue's eyes, Ni Tianxie's back and Jun Nitian's image were so similar that they were almost indistinguishable!

Only after the shockwave finally subsided did Yu Baixue look out from behind Ni Tianxie. A large crater, over ten feet deep, had appeared where the two had just clashed, and the ground within a ten-foot radius had been completely uprooted. Yet, there was no sign of the Lord of Floating and Sinking. It was easy to imagine how intense the residual force of their battle had been. If Ni Tianxie hadn't protected her in time, she would surely be a mangled corpse by now!

However, in a fierce and evenly matched final battle, Ni Tianxie had to be distracted by protecting his mother; how could he not suffer a great loss?

Yu Baixue hesitated, "Tianxie...you...are you alright?"

Ni Tianxie didn't turn to look at his mother, his voice tinged with a rare weariness, "I'm fine, Mother. You weren't affected, were you?"

Yu Baixue shook her head, "Thanks to you, I'm safe and sound. What about that Lord of

Floating and Sinking?" Ni Tianxie still wouldn't turn around, scoffing, "He's gone."

"Gone?"

Although Ni Tianxie's tone was weak, his arrogance was still evident: "His injuries aren't any less severe than mine. Even if he stayed, he wouldn't gain anything. Leaving was his only option."

Yu Baixue asked with concern, "Are you...are you injured? Let me see how serious your injuries are."

As soon as the words left her mouth, Yu Baixue immediately regretted them.

Ni Tianxie laughed, "Thank you for your concern, Mother, but this injury is nothing to me. It's only because of that commotion by the Great Monk that I've become even more determined to do something."

"What is it?"

Ni Tianxie suddenly whirled around, and Yu Baixue finally saw his expression. Although his face was pale from the injury, his eyes shone with an unprecedented brilliance—the excitement of a child about to receive their beloved toy!

"I want to announce to the world that I am marrying you."
