Chapter 119 The Battle Between Athena and the Egyptian Sun God
With a roar, Yang Yan's weapon, imbued with the power of the Eye of Desire, shattered the goddess's chastity in the blink of an eye, and a battle to conquer the goddess began…
Dusk fell, and a pale red sunset painted a strange crimson across Mount Olympus.
The moon goddess Aphrodite awoke from her slumber. A comfortable, languid feeling washed over her. Having just had her chastity forcibly taken, she should have felt anger or sorrow, but Aphrodite felt none of these.
"That feeling was so good…"
After a moment's reflection, Aphrodite suddenly chuckled. This Eastern man was truly interesting; seemingly unaffected by the power of Mount Olympus, he was able to contend with the third-ranked goddess of Olympus here. Truly remarkable.
Casually donning her clothes to cover the traces of their lovemaking on her snow-white body, and gripping her golden bow in one hand, Aphrodite instantly returned to her usual serene, moonlit demeanor.
As the sun slowly set, Apollo's chariot, which had circled Mount Olympus all day, gently descended to the western temple of the sun god.
"Goddess, you should punish those who have taken over the work of the sun god,"
several terrified elven maidens approached Aphrodite.
"I know. Clean the temple,"
Aphrodite, the moon goddess, said, emerging from her temple attended by her elven maidens. Her beautiful moon chariot rose into the sky, and Aphrodite began her work.
The summit of Mount Olympus remained undisturbed by the night; the servants of the gods had already lit countless torches, illuminating the entire mountaintop.
The gods, who had revelled for a day and a night, showed no signs of fatigue. Athena, the goddess of wisdom and war, and Apollo, the sun god, who had left midway, both returned to the summit of Mount Olympus.
"My esteemed Olympian gods, please allow me, Era, the chief god of Egypt and the sun god, to pay my respects. Since our alliance in ancient times, we have been brothers. Today, to further strengthen the unity of our two great divine races, I propose to the great Zeus a marriage alliance between Egypt and Greece."
The voice of the hawk-faced Egyptian sun god clearly reached the ears of every deity.
"Thank you, great Egyptian god. We, the Greek Olympian gods, have maintained a two-thousand-year-old alliance with the Egyptian gods. I am extremely pleased with your proposal. In response, I will give my daughter, Athena, one of the eighteen chief Greek gods, the goddess of wisdom and war, to the Egyptian sun god."
Zeus's voice followed.
"I object,"
said Apollo, the sun god and head of the fourth generation of gods.
“Athena, the goddess of wisdom, is not only the goddess of wisdom and war, but also the goddess of virginity. To marry her off would be an insult to us Olympian gods!”
Although he had always been at odds with Athena, the god of war, Ares still objected.
“Men should marry when they come of age, and women should marry when they come of age. Athena is not young anymore. Although gods have long lives, they cannot exist forever. What’s wrong with letting Athena marry while she is still young?”
Zeus said coldly, a vast divine power belonging to the king of gods erupting from his body, instantly overwhelming the divine power of all other gods. The majesty of the king of gods, Zeus, did not allow anyone to challenge him.
“I disagree,”
Athena’s icy voice rang out. Then, the divine power of the beautiful goddess of war erupted simultaneously, confronting the divine power of the king of gods, Zeus, and was in no way inferior to his immense divine power. Athena’s title as the number one female deity was no accident; even the sun god Apollo and the god of war Ares appeared much weaker than Athena’s divine power.
"You want to rebel against your father, or rather, betray the King of the Gods?"
Zeus sneered, and terrifying lightning power erupted from the war hammer in his hand, the symbol of the King of the Gods. For thousands of years, Zeus had relied on the power of the war hammer to maintain his position as the first god of Olympus. Zeus's divine might overwhelmed Athena.
"You want me to marry you? Fine, I'll only marry the strong. If you want to marry me, come and defeat me yourself."
Faced with the supreme artifact, the war hammer, Athena's statue of Nike was clearly no match, and she could only coldly say this.
"Fine, I'll now test my skills against the legendary Greek goddess of war."
The Egyptian sun god's eagle-like beak emitted an unpleasant smile.
"Is that so?"
Athena smiled coldly, and the statue of Nike transformed into a long spear in the classical Greek style, pointing directly at the Egyptian sun god. A massive amount of divine power suddenly erupted, and the other Greek gods immediately retreated, even Ares, the so-called god of war, had to retreat to resist Athena's divine might. The goddess of wisdom and war had unleashed her terrifying power.
"It is truly my honor to marry the beautiful Greek goddess of war."
The Egyptian sun god slowly took out the Book of the Sun, Egypt's first divine artifact, from his robes. Vast streams of solar power erupted from the Book of the Sun, and the Egyptian sun god's power seemed completely unaffected.
"Wait."
Zeus suddenly interrupted Athena and the Egyptian sun god, who were about to fight.
"Mount Olympus is the paradise of the gods. Unless it is war, fighting is not allowed on Mount Olympus. If you wish to settle your differences, go to the Colosseum behind my temple."
Zeus said, wielding his hammer, Ares.
"Honorable Zeus, we will obey your command."
The hawk-headed Egyptian sun god spoke.
"I agree as well."
Athena slowly withdrew her divine power, calming her rage.
The gods rose and went to the massive Colosseum behind Zeus's temple. This arena wasn't built by the Greek gods; it seems to have existed on this divinely powerful mountain before the Greek gods even appeared. The arena is actually a vast plaza, possessing a mysterious power that allows it to automatically regenerate within hours of being damaged. In the era when gods and giants coexisted, they enjoyed testing their divine strength here. Later, the giants were driven off Mount Olympus by the gods. "This contest between the Egyptian sun god and Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom and war from Mount Olympus, is merely for the purpose of a marriage agreement between our two divine races. Harming each other is forbidden. If Athena is defeated, she will marry the Egyptian sun god in place of us Greek gods. If the Egyptian sun god is defeated, no one can decide Athena's marriage, including myself, the king of the gods,"
Zeus announced with a faint smile.
"I will win!"
As the goddess of war, Athena is arguably the most warlike of the Greek goddesses, her strength firmly placing her at the top of the fourth generation of gods. Even Apollo, the sun god hailed as the first of the four generations of gods, and Ares, the war god born for battle, were both in Athena's hands. The battle between Ares and Athena was no secret on Mount Olympus; the two would clash whenever the opportunity arose.
Athena's immense divine power erupted, and the spear formed from the statue of Nike, the goddess of victory, along with her other divine weapon, the Shield of Justice, completely armed her.
Holding a spear in one hand and a shield in the other, Athena, unlike Ares who only knew how to attack, always combined offense and defense in her tactics.
"Beautiful Athena, you will surely become my bride,"
the hawk-faced Egyptian sun god cried out.
"Wait until you can defeat me,"
Athena sneered, casually thrusting her spear through the Egyptian sun god's body as if transcending the distance of time and space.
"You cannot kill me; I am like the sun, eternally existing,"
the Egyptian sun god laughed, Athena's attack seemingly having no effect on him.
Chapter 119 Part 2: Athena's Defeat
"No life in the world can exist eternally. Even we gods have a time of death. The life of the sun, and even the life of this universe, will one day end,"
Athena coldly replied upon hearing the Egyptian sun god's words.
"Is that so? But no matter what, you cannot withstand my Book of the Sun,"
the Egyptian sun god's laughter remained like a bird's cry, and the Book of the Sun in his hand suddenly opened, bursting forth with intense rays of sunlight.
"The Realm of Wisdom..."
Athena uttered a cold shout, and countless strange characters and symbols appeared beneath her feet. These strange characters and symbols formed a bizarre space, and Athena opened her own domain—her Wisdom Space.
"The Wisdom Space of the Goddess of Wisdom and War is said to be the most wondrous of all the Olympian gods' domains. The more powerful the god, the harder it is for them to escape from it. Let me see today."
Looking at Athena's captivating figure, surrounded by golden light, within the Wisdom Space, the Egyptian sun god laughed loudly. A ball of light shone from the Book of the Sun, enveloping the Egyptian sun god's entire body. The Egyptian sun god flapped his wings and flew into Athena's Wisdom Space.
A domain is a unique ability belonging to gods. Only those who possess extreme divine power can master it. Only by creating one's own domain can one be qualified to step into the realm of gods. Each god's domain is completely different; even gods who possess the same attributes have distinct domains.
Athena's Wisdom Space is the most wondrous space among all the Greek gods. Unlike Zeus's Thunder Space, with its incredibly violent lightning power, unlike Apollo's Sun Fire, a world of light and heat, unlike Poseidon's Seven Seas Sanctuary with its raging storms, unlike Hades's Elysium, a realm filled with hope and death,
the Wisdom Space is a strange space composed of countless words, graphics, riddles, and the wisdom of all things in the world. This space is unpredictable and ever-changing. While it lacks the boundless power of Ares's space, it is the easiest place to lose oneself.
After gaining the power of wisdom, Athena, the goddess of wisdom and war, spent three hundred years melting all the knowledge she could gather into a space filled with wisdom. Everything within this space is a manifestation of wisdom, and even Zeus was not confident of escaping from this wondrous space.
When the Egyptian sun god entered Athena's Wisdom Space, he immediately unleashed his own domain—the light of solar wisdom. The Egyptian sun god was also the Egyptian god of wisdom. As the Egyptian sun god's domain of solar wisdom opened, amidst layers of intense sunlight, the Egyptian sun god stood atop a colossal sphinx. From the sphinx's mouth emanated a continuous, musical sound, waves of music emanating from it. Countless textual images and musical sounds within Athena's space of wisdom undulated and intertwined.
"Athena's space of wisdom is composed of countless wisdoms. There are only two ways to break through this space of wisdom. The first is to confront wisdom with force, to forcibly destroy it with power surpassing Athena's. Although you possess the innate artifact, the Book of the Sun, your energy is not at its peak. It would be difficult to forcefully break through Athena's space of wisdom, who holds the statue of Victory. However, there is another way that Athena herself has not considered. Athena is the only Greek goddess of wisdom; no other god possesses the ability of wisdom. Wisdom is a very mysterious thing, powerful and wondrous, yet also a fragile ability. Whenever wisdom cannot understand something, it will attempt to understand it. Besides being the sun god, you are also the Egyptian goddess of wisdom. There must be something different in your wisdom. Therefore, when your power of wisdom manifests, Athena's space of wisdom will be affected, and you will have an opportunity to attack her..."
Zeus's words during their secret conversation resurfaced in the Egyptian sun god's mind.
"The power of wisdom..."
In the blink of an eye, Athena, the goddess of wisdom, understood the uncontrollable anomalies erupting from the space of wisdom, and her expression changed drastically.
"I have won!"
The Egyptian sun god roared with laughter, and a beam of intense light suddenly shot out from the domain of the sun's wisdom, enveloping the goddess Athena. In an instant, under the immense divine power of the Egyptian sun god, the divine power of the goddess Athena was severed, and the entire space of wisdom constructed by Athena's divine power completely disappeared. The entire arena of the gods was now enveloped by the Egyptian sun god's domain of the sun's wisdom.
"I declare the victor the Egyptian sun god,"
Zeus announced loudly, a hint of triumph in his eyes. The breaking of a god's domain meant that the god's power was temporarily suppressed, and the Greek gods had no objection to Zeus's judgment.
"Let's go back and continue our celebration..."
Zeus, the king of the gods, wore a smug expression and rode off in his chariot. Although the Greek gods were all puzzled as to why Athena's supposedly indestructible space of wisdom had been broken, they dared not disobey Zeus's command, and they all followed Zeus in their chariots.
"My bride..."
The Egyptian sun god, watching the other gods depart, smiled and addressed Athena, the goddess of wisdom, who stood frozen in the arena of the gods.
"Shut up..."
The Egyptian sun god had no idea of the characteristics of his own wisdom realm. If he weren't restricted from harming others, he would have unleashed his space as the goddess of war, not his wisdom realm... Athena already knew she had been tricked by her father. Only he had witnessed her wisdom realm, and with his power as the god-king, he could easily see its weaknesses. Athena's heart burned with boundless rage.
"A god's promise is extremely important, Your Majesty Athena. You won't break your promise, will you?"
the Egyptian sun god said smugly to Athena.
"I know..."
Athena, burning with rage, replied coldly, then mounted her chariot and vanished in an instant.
"Truly worthy of being the goddess of wisdom and war. If Zeus had delayed his announcement by even a few minutes, I wouldn't have been able to suppress you..."
Standing in the empty arena of the gods, the Egyptian sun god couldn't help but cough violently, barely managing to temporarily restore his divine power with a secret method, but his body now appeared even weaker. After standing for a long time, the Egyptian sun god finally managed to climb onto his chariot and gallop towards the temple of Zeus where the gathering was taking place.
"I declare," Zeus announced loudly, "that I will marry my daughter, Athena, the goddess of wisdom and war, to Era, the chief god of Egypt and the sun god." "Honorable King Zeus,"
Zeus replied, "
thank you for your generosity. For the eternal friendship of our two great divine races, I will offer the Book of the Sun, the foremost artifact of Egypt, as a dowry. Furthermore, I will offer Cleopatra, the most beautiful woman in Egypt, to King Zeus as your servant."
The Egyptian sun god was overjoyed and exclaimed,
"The Book of the Sun..."
Except for Apollo, the other Greek gods were all somewhat bewildered. The Book of the Sun, Egypt's foremost artifact, was a super-powerful innate artifact on par with the hammer of Ares, the foremost artifact of Mount Olympus, possessing boundless power. If Mount Olympus obtained this super artifact, its overall strength would likely double.
The Greek gods, who had initially been dissatisfied with Zeus's decision to marry Athena, the goddess of wisdom and war, whose fighting power was second only to Zeus himself, to the Egyptian chief god, immediately began to admire Zeus's wisdom. Although they had lost Athena, they had gained the Book of the Sun; Mount Olympus's fighting power would not decrease but increase, and even if the remaining Titans attacked Mount Olympus again, they would have no reason to worry.
The feast of the gods continued. Zeus, the king of the Olympian gods, and Apollo, the chief god of Egypt, each received what they desired. Apollo, the Greek sun god, watched Apollo with some apprehension, sensing a possible conspiracy. Athena
, the goddess of wisdom, watched the gods reveling in their enjoyment with an expressionless face, her thoughts unknown.
Time slowly passed…
Chapter 120: Prometheus, the Greek god of fire.
Mount Olympus was the abode of the Olympian gods, suspended above the Aegean Sea, piercing the clouds.
On the massive Mount Olympus, Yang Yan walked along, grumbling.
“Damn this place, it’s so big, I’ve gotten lost…”
After crossing a huge, abandoned temple, Yang Yan found himself on a steep cliff. Below was a turbulent sea, and the cliff was covered only with strangely shaped, massive rocks, devoid of any greenery, as if it had been abandoned.
"Strange, the temple we just saw seemed to bear the mark of the sun god. Even if Apollo abandoned this temple, it shouldn't be so desolate."
Mount Olympus was the domain of the gods, a paradise arranged by their servants, with towering ancient trees and countless archaeological formations everywhere. Flowers and grasses covered the ground, and countless divine beasts roosted there. How could it be so desolate? A curse seemed to permeate the entire land. Yang Yan said strangely.
"This is where the second generation of Olympian gods were imprisoned,"
an aged voice came from below the cliff, seemingly answering Yang Yan's question.
"Who are you?"
Yang Yan peered over the cliff. Below, countless enormous chains bound a giant over ten meters tall. The giant's white hair seemed to reach almost to his feet, and a huge hole tore in his chest, from which crimson blood flowed. The giant seemed unable to move, and countless vultures perched on his shoulders. The giant's breathing was like the whooshing sound of a violent gale.
"O foreign god, I am Prometheus. You must not have heard of me."
The giant's voice was old and hoarse.
"You're Prometheus? The one from Greek mythology who stole fire from the gods and brought it to humankind?"
Having crammed on Greek mythology for several days, Yang Yan naturally knew this god who, for bringing fire to humankind, was punished by Zeus and eternally tormented on a cliff. Both brought fire to humankind, bringing light and hope, yet the Greek Prometheus was forever chained to a cliff, while the Chinese Suirenshi could become a ruler and enjoy sacrifices—truly different fates.
"Hehe, esteemed foreign god, I am Prometheus."
The giant smiled slightly, seemingly pleased that his deeds were still known.
"That's strange. Greek mythology says that an immortal being took your punishment, while you went to wander far away?"
Yang Yan asked curiously.
"Haha, some things in mythology are true, and some are just fabrications. Which of the Greek gods dares to disobey Zeus's commands? The chains on my body are all formed from Zeus's divine power; which of the Greek gods can break his divine power?"
Prometheus laughed heartily, showing no sign of the dejection he had suffered from thousands of years of imprisonment; his heroic expression was unmistakable.
"Haha, by the way, you said this is where the second generation of Olympian gods were imprisoned? Could it be the giants who were driven out of Mount Olympus? Aren't those giants imprisoned in the underworld?"
Yang Yan asked curiously.
"Back then... alas, the first generation of gods, the Chaos God, was killed by the Heavenly Father and Gaia, the Mother of the Gods, for his cruelty and tyranny. The second generation of gods then ruled Mount Olympus. The Chaos God and Gaia gave birth to thirty-six second-generation Olympian gods, led by the Heavenly Father. These second-generation gods and their servants lived together on Mount Olympus. Later, the Heavenly Father and Gaia united to give birth to the third generation of Olympian gods, while the remaining second-generation gods mated with other races, giving birth to the giants. The giants and the gods lived together on Mount Olympus for almost a thousand years."
"Zeus, the king of the gods, was the most powerful of the third generation of gods. He possessed the divine power of his grandfather, the god of chaos, and obtained the weapon of chaos, the hammer of war. Zeus was dissatisfied with the giants living among the gods and enjoying the same treatment. Therefore, he joined forces with his brothers, the sea god Bosa and the god of the underworld Hades, and led the races they had subjugated. Taking advantage of the second-generation gods and giants' drunkenness, they used the power of the hammer of war to kill the father of the gods and seize control of Mount Olympus."
"As for the other thirty-five second-generation gods and Gaia, the earth mother, Zeus was unable to kill them. He could only use the power of the hammer of war to imprison them here. Most of the giants were killed, but only a few powerful ones escaped Mount Olympus and lay in wait in various places, waiting for an opportunity to counterattack Zeus. This is the origin of the Titan giants."
"This is the place imprisoned by the power of the hammer of Ares. Beneath me lies the divine prison where Zeus imprisoned the second generation of Olympian gods and Gaia, the Earth Mother."
Prometheus slowly recounted everything.
"Why do you deduce that I am an alien god? Couldn't I be an Olympian god, or an outsider?"
Yang Yan asked curiously.
"The Olympian gods couldn't possibly be unaware that this is the forbidden divine prison. As for humans... this is a forbidden land cursed by the hammer of Ares. Even gods would become incredibly weak here, let alone humans. Ordinary humans who set foot here would instantly turn to bones under the power of the curse. You can stand here, and I can feel your immense power. What else could you be but an alien god?"
Prometheus said with a smile.
"Are you a giant or a god?"
Yang Yan smiled slightly. Judging by power, ordinary Olympian gods were no match for him. He could be considered a god walking among mortals.
"I am the god of fire, and also a giant. I am one of the few giants with divine status, which is why I was left on Mount Olympus when the other gods drove away the giants. But no matter what, I was still imprisoned here by Zeus for a small matter."
Prometheus said with a wry smile. Passing on fire to mankind was a trivial matter. If any other god had done it, no one would have been punished for it. Only he... this god of giants, was punished by Zeus for such a thing.
"Haha, in China, the demigod who passed on fire to mankind was treated with high honors. He not only reigned as the ruler of mankind for hundreds of years, but was also continuously worshipped by later generations. You are truly pitiful."
Yang Yan climbed down from the cliff, chased away the vultures that had taken up residence on Prometheus's shoulders, and casually sat down on one. Sitting on a giant's shoulder was truly comfortable, much more comfortable than a leather sofa.
"You're from China? Haha, that's a truly wondrous place. Legend has it that it's inhabited by ancient gods of boundless power, some of whom are even more powerful than the Chaos God,"
Prometheus said with a laugh.
"Hehe, I don't know. I don't know any ancient gods,"
Yang Yan replied with a smile. What era are we living in now? Where could one find any ancient gods? If you think about it, would the zombie god Ba count as an ancient god?
"Sigh, I'll have to talk to you later..."
Prometheus's voice suddenly filled with helplessness. Just then, the chains binding Prometheus suddenly shone with a strange light. The vultures that had been driven away by Yang Yan and were now circling in the sky saw the chains glowing and became excited. They swarmed towards the large hole in Prometheus's chest. These vultures, with their sharp beaks and claws, tore open Prometheus's muscles, pulled out the flesh and internal organs, and swallowed them. In no time, Prometheus's body trembled violently, his breathing became rapid, and he was clearly enduring immense pain.
The vultures quickly devoured Prometheus's internal organs and then perched on the chains binding him. Prometheus's wound healed rapidly, leaving only the large, bleeding hole in his chest.
"You're in a lot of pain..."
Seeing how Zeus punished Prometheus, Yang Yan felt that this was simply the best way to torture an enemy, and it was worth learning.
“Three times a day, for thousands of years, I’ve gotten used to it.”
Prometheus quickly regained his composure.
“Curses are a type of magic, and many dark races or human sorcerers who use dark magic possess curse spells. However, curse spells generally weaken over time. To maintain a curse for such a long period, this War Hammer is truly remarkable.”
Yang Yan said admiringly. To cast a curse on a god and maintain it for thousands of years without weakening—that requires immense power. Even powerful ancient gods like the zombie god Ba or the ten-tailed fox Hu Mei would have to struggle to achieve that.
“While Zeus’s power is immense, even with the War Hammer, it still can’t reach this level. Although my curse was cast by Zeus, it’s actually thanks to the strange rocks of this divine prison. These rocks exert strange power, not only completely suppressing all divine power but also increasing the power of curse spells. This place is practically a naturally formed prison for gods.”
Prometheus sighed. This divine prison is a strange, naturally formed place that not only suppresses all divine power but also amplifies the power of curse spells. The curses here never fail, which is why Zeus created it as a divine prison specifically to imprison the powerful second-generation gods.
"Indeed, these stones are almost crystallized dark magic. It's strange that such a place could form naturally."
Yang Yan, standing on Prometheus's shoulder, casually punched a small rock. The rock, once separated from its original form, immediately transformed into a thick cloud of dark demonic energy, rising upwards. That dense demonic energy was remarkably similar to the demonic energy contained within the Yaksha Demon Blade. He should have brought Yaksha Princess with him; perhaps it could have further enhanced her strength.
"God from the East, may I ask you a favor?"
Seeing that the curses and dark magic had no effect on Yang Yan, Prometheus spoke.
"You want me to help you rescue the second generation of Greek gods?"
Yang Yan smiled slightly.
“Indeed, only you are unaffected by this curse. Once you enter the Cage of the Gods and release Gaia, the Mother of the Gods, the giants will be able to conquer Mount Olympus.”
A hint of hatred for Zeus flashed in Prometheus’s eyes.
“What benefit would I gain from the giants attacking Mount Olympus?”
Yang Yan asked lazily.
“The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Respected Eastern deity, you have crossed seas and mountains to come to Mount Olympus, surely not for leisure. Since you are an enemy of the Olympian gods, why not lend us a hand? You will not only gain the friendship of our giant race, but also eliminate your enemy,”
Prometheus said.
"Haha, the friendship of giants? Interesting. I'll go check out your divine prison."
Yang Yan had already planned to destroy the divine prison and release these second-generation Olympian gods who had been imprisoned by Zeus for thousands of years. Even if these second-generation gods, imprisoned for millennia, were no match for the Olympian gods, they could at least cause chaos on Mount Olympus, allowing him to fish in troubled waters and kill a few of the Olympian chief gods.
After speaking, Yang Yan slid down Prometheus's body until he reached the sea level, where he saw a huge cave several meters high. A massive wooden fence blocked the entrance. Yang Yan glanced around and saw that the entire cave was over ten meters high, with more than half of it submerged in water. Every time the tide rose, this cave would be completely submerged.
"Zeus is truly inhuman, imprisoning his mother and uncles all here. But those who achieve great things throughout history are often ruthless; Li Shimin also became emperor by killing his brothers. Zeus certainly has the talent of an emperor."
The thick wooden bars seemed to be imbued with a cursed power, but these bars were clearly set up to prevent the escape of the tall second-generation gods. The gaps, which even giants tens of meters tall couldn't pass through, were enough for Yang Yan to move freely. The huge cave was obviously naturally formed, with thick dark magic permeating the rocks, just like outside. Moving forward along the cave, soon, caverns sealed off by huge wooden bars appeared on both sides.
Yang Yan arrived at the front of one of the caverns, where a naked giant was chained with huge rock chains. This giant seemed to have been completely numb from thousands of years of imprisonment. Seeing Yang Yan appear before him, his weak gaze merely swept over Yang Yan before he slowly closed his eyes.
"Hey, big guy, what's your name?"
Looking at the giant, Yang Yan knew he must be the second-generation chief god imprisoned in the Cage of the Gods by Zeus, and immediately asked loudly. Hearing Yang Yan's words, the giant didn't even blink, seemingly disdainful of Yang Yan, or perhaps completely uninterested in his voice.
"Big guy, you haven't even learned to speak properly, have you?"
Yang Yan laughed loudly. The giant still didn't react.
"Hmm, let's see how long you can hold out. Even if Zeus were right in front of you, you wouldn't pay him any attention?"
Yang Yan absolutely didn't believe these second-generation gods, imprisoned by Zeus for thousands of years, had such good manners. But to Yang Yan's surprise, at most, when he heard Zeus's name, the giant's closed eyes twitched a few times, but still remained completely still.
"No wonder you second-generation gods have been imprisoned here by Zeus for thousands of years. So you have no temper whatsoever. If Zeus didn't imprison you, who would he imprison?"
Yang Yan continued to provoke the giant. But this time, the giant didn't even bother to move his eyes, seemingly completely ignoring Yang Yan's presence.
"I'll f*** your mother..."
Seeing the giant's weak and listless state, Yang Yan flew into a rage, spewing out a string of profanities.
"What did you say, kid..."
Yang Yan seemed to have offended the giant, who abruptly sat up, unleashing his divine power. The moment this power erupted, the strange stone chains flashed with black light, and the giant broke out in a cold sweat, seemingly tormented by unbearable pain.
The raging divine power was suppressed by the black light on the stone chains. Finally, the giant lay back down, a look of regret on his face. As his divine power subsided, the stone chains returned to normal, and the giant returned to his listless state.
"I didn't realize that old Zeus was quite capable. You all suffer from the curse of suppression whenever you use your divine power,"
Yang Yan said, a smile playing on his lips as he watched the giant with interest. The giant turned his head away, ignoring Yang Yan, and closed his eyes again.
“Hey big guy, let’s make a deal. I see you’re a few thousand pounds and still have some strength. I’ll release you, and you can work for me for a few years, how about that?”
Yang Yan chuckled wickedly. If he could get a giant to be his servant, it would be a huge windfall.
“You’re not one of Zeus’s people?”
The giant turned around and looked at Yang Yan coldly.
“Heh, speaking of which, has anyone been here in the thousands of years you’ve been imprisoned?”
Yang Yan asked with a grin.
“As long as you rescue Gaia, the mother of the gods, I’d gladly sell my life to you.”
Knowing that Yang Yan wasn’t one of Zeus’s people, the giant said calmly.
“Gaia, the mother of the gods? The one who’s both your mother and your sister-in-law, the first goddess?”
Yang Yan had read Greek mythology and naturally knew the legendary Mother Earth who nurtured the gods and giants.
"Gia, the Earth Mother, is the greatest goddess, and even this divine cage cannot imprison her boundless divine power. Therefore, that despicable Zeus sealed Gaia in the deepest part of the divine cage… If you rescue Gaia, I, the second-generation chief god of Olympus, the wind god Logitech, will serve you as my master and forever obey your commands,"
the giant said coldly.
"You keep your word?"
Haha, what a wind! Having the second-generation chief god of Olympus as a subordinate—how awesome is that? I'll be laughing in my dreams tonight. Yang Yan was overjoyed, but his face remained serious as he asked.
"I never lie,"
the giant didn't argue with Yang Yan, simply turning his head to the side. Without further ado, Yang
Yan continued forward, passing through more than thirty enormous caves, each containing a giant of varying appearance. Yang Yan did not disturb these seemingly sleeping giants.
Having already taken advantage of one giant, Yang Yan knew that if he were to take advantage of all the giants in one fell swoop, even the seemingly kind giant might turn on him. He understood the principle of not being too greedy.
Following the cave passage deeper and deeper, he came to a thick stone door. The entire door was carved from the same stone used in the God's Cage, which was imbued with incredibly strong demonic energy. A huge demon god's head was carved on the door, and as the demonic energy rippled across it, the demon god's head seemed to come alive. An ordinary person who saw this statue would probably be terrified to death on the spot.
"Hmm, this stone door is strange. The carving technique is completely different from the Greeks; it's more like an Eastern style."
Yang Yan carefully observed the huge stone door, vaguely feeling that the demon god's head on it looked very familiar, but he couldn't remember where he had seen it before.
"Never mind, let's go in and take a look."
Since he couldn't remember where he'd seen it before, Yang Yan gave up thinking and pushed open the stone door. Unexpectedly, the stone door seemed to have no fixtures at all; it opened easily with a gentle push. Behind the stone door was a completely different world. Inside was a huge room made entirely of black crystal. Three strange black gems were inlaid in the black crystal ceiling, emitting a hazy grayish-white light, turning the room into a black and white world where almost all color was absent, leaving only gray and white.
In the center of the crystal room, countless chains hung from the black crystal ceiling. A red-haired beauty, slightly taller than an average person, was chained in mid-air. The immense black demonic energy contained within the black crystal flowed along the countless patterns on the chains to the red-haired beauty, rendering her immense divine power completely unusable.
The red-haired beauty's eyes were blindfolded by a black ribbon, and she was completely naked. Her incredibly sexy figure was practically a sinister temptation, and the mysterious garden between her legs was as smooth as a mirror, unlike that of an ordinary woman.
"Zeus, get out of here!"
Although the red-haired beauty couldn't see anything, she could clearly feel the airflow caused by human movement. The red-haired beauty shouted angrily, her voice, though furious, was exceptionally melodious. It was a pity that such a stunning beauty's private parts were closed, otherwise she would be a man's prized possession.
"You tell me to get out, and I just leave? How embarrassing would that be?"
Yang Yan smiled slightly, continuing to carefully admire the stunning beauty's captivating body, exaggerated curves, and alluring posture.
"You're not Zeus. Who are you?"
Although she hadn't heard Zeus's voice for thousands of years, the red-haired beauty clearly hadn't forgotten the voice that had made her hate him for millennia. The red-haired beauty's expression was clearly filled with surprise and doubt. This is where Zeus imprisoned the second-generation chief gods. These second-generation chief gods were absolutely the beings Zeus feared most, so Zeus dared not come here easily. This was the first time in thousands of years that someone had come to this forbidden land of the Olympian gods.
"Does it matter who I am?"
Faced with such beauty, Yang Yan's lustful hands began to roam over the red-haired beauty's body.
"You bastard, what are you doing? Even Zeus wouldn't dare to be disrespectful to me."
Yang Yan's flirting techniques were inherited from the Xuanyuan Holy Emperor. Even the most aloof goddess would become passionate in the hands of the Xuanyuan Holy Emperor. Under the stimulation of Yang Yan's hands, the red-haired beauty began to unconsciously twist her body, her body naturally responding to Yang Yan's hands. However, the goddess's dignity absolutely would not allow her to submit to this unseen man like this.
"Zeus? I almost forgot. Zeus's wife, Hera, is said to be an incredibly beautiful woman. Unfortunately, Zeus is known for his infidelity. Haha, he keeps his wife at home while having affairs on the side. I don't believe Zeus could do that. Hera must be feeling lonely and restless. I should give her a good time sometime."
Yang Yan, while lecherously imagining the legendary goddess Hera's allure, continued to caress the defenseless goddess in his hands.
"You...you're such an evil devil."
Completely aroused by Yang Yan's lewd hands, the red-haired beauty let out a melodious moan, her breath quickening. Her slender waist clung to Yang Yan like a deep pool, and her fiery passion brought Yang Yan to the peak of pleasure.
"If a man treats a tempting woman like a saint, he's probably a eunuch."
Savoring the red-haired beauty's alluring lips, amidst their passionate kiss, Yang Yan still managed to whisper in her ear.
“Let me see your face…”
the red-haired beauty said, panting between moans.
“When you can’t see, your senses of touch, hearing, and taste are greatly enhanced, so don’t you think you can get greater pleasure in the dark?”
The red-haired beauty's front was sealed, but Yang Yan's weapon pierced her rear. Amidst the red-haired beauty's moans and groans, Yang Yan began his battle with the goddess...
After their lovemaking, Yang Yan leisurely lay on the smooth black crystal floor, admiring the red-haired beauty's alluring post-coital state as she hung in the air.
"So comfortable... I haven't felt this comfortable in thousands of years. You are truly strong, a god from the East."
The red-haired beauty said softly, enjoying the afterglow of her climax.
"How do you know I'm from the East?"
Yang Yan was somewhat puzzled, confirming that the ribbon covering the red-haired beauty's eyes hadn't been moved. Looking at the red-haired beauty's flushed cheeks after being aroused, Yang Yan asked.
"Because of your energy. I remember about eight thousand years ago, a supreme expert who traveled from the distant East saved me when I was a child. Your energy is almost exactly the same as his back then."
Although he couldn't see the red-haired beauty's gaze, the thoughtful expression on her face made Yang Yan's heart flutter.
"What's the name of that powerful figure from the East? What race is he?"
Yang Yan asked lazily.
"He claimed to be a dragon from the East. All the Western gods were defeated by him and submitted to his boundless divine power. Unfortunately, he eventually returned to the East. Oh, and he once told me that his name was Xuanyuan..."
The red-haired beauty looked happy, as if recalling happy times from the past.
"Xuanyuan..."
Yang Yan smiled bitterly. Eight thousand years ago was the time when the Holy Emperor Xuanyuan ruled the Xuanyuan clan, which was also known as the Dragon Clan. At that time, they traveled the world, invincible, and called themselves Xuanyuan. Apart from his previous life, the Holy Emperor Xuanyuan, it seemed that no one else could do that.
"By the way, esteemed Eastern deity, do you know the whereabouts of the Dragon God Xuanyuan?"
the red-haired beauty suddenly asked.
"The Holy Emperor Xuanyuan has been reincarnated for eight thousand years."
Yang Yan pressed his body against the cool black crystal before frowning and saying. "Are you kidding
me? My predecessor really was omnipotent, able to go anywhere, even in Greece. Any goddess I casually slept with was his old flame. But this goddess was quite a treat. Sometimes, a little backdoor fun is a kind of pleasure... " "Is that so?"
The red-haired beauty's voice held a hint of disappointment.
"There's no one else here. Could you be Gaia, the mother of the Greek gods?"
Yang Yan's gaze swept across the entire black crystal room. There seemed to be no other exits or passages. Yang Yan asked.
"That's right, I am Gaia..."
The red-haired beauty smiled slightly. Thousands of years had passed, and people still knew the name Gaia, the mother of the earth. It was truly remarkable.
"Gaya, the mother of the earth, is the legendary possessor of the power of the earth, possessing infinite divine power. As long as Gaia sets foot on the earth, no one can defeat her. It seems Zeus was afraid that if you came into contact with the earth, you would regain your boundless divine power, so he left you here."
Chapter 121: Gaia's Escape.
Yang Yan gently stroked Gaia's smooth, brocade-like skin, causing Gaia to gasp for breath.
After their recent encounter, Gaia's body, now more developed, was utterly unable to resist Yang Yan's teasing.
"Stop fooling around. You'd better leave quickly. If Zeus discovers you've entered this place, that beast won't let you off the hook,"
Gaia's breathing quickened, but she still reminded Yang Yan.
"Zeus? Didn't you say you were here? He shouldn't be a match for you in a direct fight,"
Yang Yan smiled slightly. If Zeus really appeared here, Yang Yan would immediately put Gaia down; with Gaia's strength, Zeus would be no match for her.
"Why did you come to Mount Olympus?"
Gaia asked.
"Women shouldn't meddle in men's affairs."
Yang Yan slowly thrust his magnificent member into Mother Earth Gaia's body once more. Mother Earth Gaia's passionate moans rang out again. In this long conquest, Mother Earth Gaia shifted from passive to active, constantly adjusting her posture to achieve greater pleasure. Mother Earth Gaia didn't realize that at some point, the curse power from the black crystal was no longer able to restrain her movements. Finally, Mother Earth Gaia suddenly forced Yang Yan's weapon out of her body. To Yang Yan's
astonishment, Mother Earth Gaia's once radiant secret garden suddenly revealed a muddy flower stream...
Amidst Mother Earth Gaia's sharp climax, immense divine power suddenly erupted from her body, instantly shattering the iron chains binding her.
Overwhelmed by pleasure, Gaia clung tightly to Yang Yan's body, her sharp nails digging into the muscles of his back. Had Yang Yan not been as strong as a dragon, he would likely have suffered deep wounds from Gaia's claws. Conquering a woman
was pleasurable. After lying down with the limp Gaia in his arms, Yang Yan fell into a deep sleep.
Meanwhile, on Mount Olympus, a grand celebration was underway. Two magnificent weddings were taking place simultaneously.
Zeus, the king of the gods, decided to marry Cleopatra, the most beautiful and alluring woman in Egypt. At the same time, Athena, the legendary Greek goddess of war and wisdom, married Ella, the Egyptian sun god.
The weddings of the gods were solemn. The radiant Zeus and Ella received blessings from the Greek and Egyptian gods while smiling at their new wives.
The expressions of Cleopatra, marrying Zeus, and Athena, marrying Ella, the Egyptian sun god, formed a stark contrast. Cleopatra, with her alluring eyes, kept casting seductive glances at Zeus, leaving all the male gods present bewildered. Athena, on the other hand, remained completely expressionless, her uncontrollable divine power indicating her extremely bad mood. All the gods avoided Athena, who was in a state of extreme emotional instability.
If it weren't for the divine promise suppressing Athena's anger, she would probably have already unleashed her divine power without hesitation, even if it meant dying on the spot, to let all the gods know that the majesty of the goddess of wisdom and war could not be violated in the slightest.
The strange wedding was underway...
Yang Yan, not knowing how long he had slept, turned over and habitually reached out to embrace the beauty he had just slept with, only to find nothing.
"Where is she?"
Yang Yan looked at the black crystal floor in front of him, confused.
"Are you awake?"
Gaia's voice came faintly from behind Yang Yan.
"Your power has been restored?"
Yang Yan sat up naked. At a glance, Gaia, the Earth Mother, was no longer completely naked. A strange red armor clung to her alluring body, its exaggerated curves showcasing her full charm. The exposed, snow-white skin at the armor's seams was captivating, and her fiery red hair flowed smoothly from her helmet, seemingly exceptionally graceful. Her exquisitely beautiful face was adorned with a pair of black eyes as clear as autumn water, their gaze seemingly infinitely profound. This was Gaia, the first female deity of Greece, the Earth Mother.
"As long as I can stand firmly on the earth, my power is invincible,"
Gaia said with a faint smile.
"Indeed, it seems your divine power has truly recovered."
Sensing the terrifying energy erupting from Mother Earth Gaia's body, although this energy was far inferior to that of ancient demon kings like Demon Ancestor Qi Qiong, it exuded a unique weightiness, a weightiness likely unique to pure earth-attribute divine power.
"Thank you. Without your help, I don't think I could have escaped."
Mother Earth Gaia's expression was calm, as if the man before her wasn't the one she had just made love to several times, but merely a friend who had come from afar to lend a hand.
"You're welcome."
Yang Yan showed no awareness, instead continuing to lecherously gaze at Mother Earth Gaia's body.
"I'm about to release my sons and avenge the hatred Zeus has held for thousands of years. Do you want to come along?"
Mother Earth Gaia seemed completely oblivious to Yang Yan's lustful gaze, her voice remaining calm.
"Well… I won't go for now. You know, doing this kind of thing is very tiring for a man, especially draining. You should let me recover properly."
Yang Yan said in an unusually ambiguous tone.
"Then please rest here, esteemed Eastern deity. I'll be right back."
Hearing Yang Yan's teasing words, Earth Mother Gaia blushed, concealing her expression with a turn, and slowly walked out of the room that reeked of a faint, lewd atmosphere.
Back in the long passage, Earth Mother Gaia took a deep breath to calm herself, and walked out. Each time she passed a cell imprisoning giants, Earth Mother Gaia casually waved her hand, and the immense power of the earth instantly shattered all curses. The giants, who had seemed completely asleep, immediately sprang to their feet, full of energy. When Earth Mother Gaia reached the rocks outside, she was followed closely by thirty-five second-generation gods who had been imprisoned by Zeus, the king of the gods, for thousands of years.
"Earth Mother Gaia..."
Prometheus exclaimed in surprise when he saw Earth Mother Gaia leading the giants before him.
"Prometheus, decide for yourself: follow me, or follow the traitor Zeus?"
Earth Mother Gaia's voice reached Prometheus's ears.
"Great Mother of the Gods, Gaia, I, Prometheus, the God of Fire, submit to you!"
Prometheus, imprisoned by Zeus for two thousand years, immediately replied.
"Then descend."
Gaia waved her hand, and the chains that had bound Prometheus for two thousand years instantly snapped, all the vultures formed from the curse vanished, and the wound on Prometheus's chest that had remained unhealed for a thousand years was completely restored in the blink of an eye.
"Great Mother of the Earth, Gaia..."
Prometheus knelt before Gaia and kissed her toes.
"My children, follow me to punish that traitor Zeus."
Gaia's voice was not loud, but it clearly reached every giant following behind her.
"Punish zeal..."
The hatred imprisoned for thousands of years erupted instantly, and the immense divine power of the thirty-five chief gods caused the heavens and earth to change color. A massive tsunami submerged the land near the Aegean Sea, and the entire sacred mountain Olympus began to tremble.
"Not good..."
Zeus, who was gloating over his wedding, immediately changed his expression upon sensing this immense divine power. He was very familiar with this power; it belonged to his thirty-five uncles, and the majesty of the second-generation chief gods was not to be trifled with.
"Damn it, how did they get out?"
Poseidon's face turned ashen. He had been a key figure in the rebellion, and these old men who had escaped the prison of the gods would never let him go.
"What's the use of saying so much? Prepare for war."
Hades, the perpetually gloomy god of the underworld, coldly shouted, casually raising his divine weapon, the Sword of Hades, and mounting his Hades chariot.
"That's right, all Olympian gods, prepare for war! This concerns our life and death! All divine servant races, mobilize as well."
King Zeus calmed down and issued a series of war mobilization orders.
Chapter 122 The War Between Giants and Gods
"Children of giants, awaken from your slumber! The time has come to counterattack Mount Olympus! I, Gaia, the Earth Mother, will lead you to annihilate all those gods who have betrayed us!"
Gaia's voice echoed across mountains and rivers, and the giants slumbering in the earth or dormant in the depths of the sea awoke to her call. These towering giants frantically absorbed the immense power from Mother Earth. Having received her power, as long as their feet touched the ground, their strength would be inexhaustible, unleashing a terrifying power that would make even the gods tremble.
Following the paths they remembered, these giants, scattered in various places, gathered into an army of several thousand and arrived at Mount Olympus. Compared to the gods, the giants used far more ancient methods. They had no divine artifacts; they simply uprooted enormous ancient trees from the ground, stripped them of their leaves to make massive clubs, or directly pulled huge stone clubs from the earth, and charged up Mount Olympus.
These seemingly ferocious giants arrived before Gaia, the Earth Mother, and immediately lined up in a proud and imposing formation, like soldiers awaiting inspection.
"Giants," Gaia commanded, "the glorious moment has arrived! Now is the time for us to repay those despicable self-proclaimed gods of thousands of years ago! Raise your weapons, reclaim our homeland, and slay all those who betrayed us!"
With a thunderous roar, the Titans, possessing immense strength and divine power, charged up Mount Olympus, the mountain of the gods.
Covered in thick armor, the gods were pale. The Titans were synonymous with absolute terror. Although their intelligence was only comparable to that of ordinary humans, making it difficult to rival the wisdom of the gods, their sheer power allowed them to fight dragons with their bare hands. Before absolute strength, any strategy was useless. Faced with thousands of giants marching majestically onto Mount Olympus, the gods had no choice but to fight back with all their might.
"Kill..."
With the terrifying roar of the giants, countless massive stones were hurled at the gods with terrifying power and speed, reigniting the war between the Titans and the Olympian gods that had been dormant for thousands of years.
The sky darkened, the sun and moon lost their light, mountains crumbled, and floods raged. Flames and frost danced together...
Although the Greek Olympian gods possessed divine weapons, they were utterly powerless against these Titan giants. Protected by Gaia, the Earth Mother, and aided by the power of the earth, these Titan giants were virtually immortal. As long as they stood on the ground, even if half their bodies were destroyed by the Olympian gods' weapons, they would instantly recover and continue wielding their clubs against the Olympian gods.
Zeus's hammer, Ares, crackled with lightning. Neptune's trident, Hades' sword, and Apollo's chariot shone brightly, charging to the forefront of the battle against the giants.
Ares, the god of war; Aphrodite, the goddess of the moon; and Hera, the queen of the gods, followed closely behind, their divine weapons displaying their might…
“How spectacular…”
Not far from the battlefield, Yang Yan, seemingly out of nowhere, pulled up a chair, quickly grabbed a wine cup, and leisurely sipped the fine wine he’d stolen from the temple of some unfortunate deity, watching the rare battle between the gods.
“Daddy’s so cunning, watching the show all by himself.”
A playful scolding voice rang out as Ba appeared behind Yang Yan with Yasha-hime.
"Haha, my darling daughter, where have you been? I missed you so much!"
Yang Yan laughed and pulled Ba into his arms, greedily inhaling the faint scent of her youthful body.
"Daddy really missed me?"
Ba returned Yang Yan's kiss, panting as she spoke.
"By the way, Yasha, I found many stones containing a lot of demonic energy in that direction. Go and see if they'll be of any use to you."
Yang Yan suddenly remembered the strange place in the Divine Cage.
"Yes."
Yasha Ji was never one to waste words. Hearing Yang Yan's command, she nodded and immediately flew in the direction he indicated.
"Daddy, these guys are really good. They all have the power of a novice god. It's been a long time since I've seen such a lively battle between gods."
Ba said with a smile.
"Who do you think will win?"
Yang Yan asked while caressing Ba's alluring body.
“Those giants clearly have unlimited energy replenishment. Those chariot-riding guys, although aided by divine artifacts, unfortunately, the power of those artifacts will eventually be exhausted. So, these chariot-riding gods will definitely fail in the long run,”
Ba replied, panting.
“Haha, not bad. Come with me later to capture a few gods as servants.”
Yang Yan parted Ba’s legs, his massive clone penetrating deep into Ba’s body.
“Hmm…it’s to capture women for Daddy, isn’t it…”
Ba let out an alluring moan, looking at Yang Yan with seductive eyes.
“Haha, you know that…”
Yang Yan chuckled wickedly, beginning his conquest of the beautiful zombie god.
At the summit of Mount Olympus, the previously joyous banquet was now reduced to a solitary figure standing silently in the wind. Athena, the goddess of wisdom and war, stood quietly atop Mount Olympus, watching the battle unfold halfway up the mountain. The goddess,
seemingly standing there since time immemorial, showed no intention of moving, her calm gaze fixed on the fierce battle below, watching the Olympian gods gradually fall into a disadvantageous situation.
"Athena, what are you waiting for? If you don't go help, Mount Olympus will be overrun by the giants."
An Olympian god, having left the battlefield, arrived before Athena in an incredibly luxurious chariot.
"Hermes, I am no longer the goddess of war of Olympus. Why should I still fight for Olympus?"
Athena asked calmly. These past few days, first, her guardian Saints were all wiped out, then her own father pushed her into the abyss, marrying her off to that half-human, half-bird monster. Athena, bound by her divine promise, hadn't immediately turned against him, which was already quite lenient. Now, she was being asked to help fight the Titans?
Athena coldly stared at the exceptionally handsome god before her.
“Father may have his faults, but you have lived here for thousands of years. Wherever you are in the future, you will always be Athena, the goddess of wisdom and war of Olympus, sung by the world. Can you really bear to watch our great Mount Olympus be destroyed?”
Hermes, the god of commerce and justice of Olympus, spoke.
“…Alright, I’ll help him one more time.”
Athena, the goddess of wisdom and war, remained silent for a long time before sighing. Her divine weapon, the goddess of victory, transformed into a spear once more. Athena mounted her chariot and charged into the battlefield.
“Light of Victory!”
As soon as Athena arrived on the battlefield, her spear emitted boundless light. Athena, belonging to the unique domain of the goddess of war, unleashed the Light of Victory. The Greek and Egyptian gods, bathed in this light, instantly gained immense power, turning the tide of the battle.
Increasing combat power and replenishing energy were the special abilities of the goddess of wisdom and war's divine weapon, the statue of Victory. As long as one flew within the light of Victory, there was hope for victory.
"The Statue of Victory..."
A tremendous divine power suddenly erupted, and a huge stone platform abruptly rose from the ground. Gaia, the mother of the gods and goddess of the earth with her red hair flying, stood proudly on the platform. Looking at the divine artifact that replenished the energy of the gods, Gaia, the earth mother, sneered. Suddenly, a huge binding energy rose from the earth. Athena, the goddess of wisdom and war, who was standing in her chariot wielding her spear, was bound by this terrifying power and immediately stopped in mid-air, unable to move at all. Under the divine power of the earth mother, the light of victory emitted by the statue of Victory immediately dimmed.
"Athena, get out of the way..."
Compared to Athena, who had never witnessed the terrifying power of Gaia, Zeus's first son and the sun god, Apollo was well aware of the Mother of the Gods' terror. This technique of binding divine power was something even the second-generation king of the gods couldn't escape...
Chapter 122 Part 2: The Mother of the Gods, Gaia's Divine Power
. "Disappear, little girl with the statue of Victory!"
Gaia's immense earthly power coalesced into a giant yellow javelin. The surging divine power on that javelin clearly surpassed that of most divine artifacts. With a cold laugh, Gaia unleashed a lightning bolt towards Athena, the goddess of wisdom and war, who was immobilized in the sky.
All the gods could only stare blankly as Gaia's divine javelin hurtled towards Athena. Gaia's divine power was nearly invincible; which of the Greek gods dared to directly confront Gaia's earthly power?
The enormous yellow javelin instantly reached the chariot of Athena, the goddess of wisdom and war. The chariot, conjured by Athena's divine power, collapsed instantly, and the unicorn pulling it was instantly reduced to nothingness…
Faced with Gaia's divine javelin, Athena, who had lived for thousands of years, felt the threat of death for the first time.
Even when facing the boundless lightning on Zeus's hammer, or Ares's spear that was said to pierce the stars, Athena had never felt fear. She seemed to have completely lost the ability to feel fear. But before Gaia's divine javelin, Athena tasted fear for the first time. This javelin, formed purely from unparalleled divine power, represented death; its immense power was enough to destroy divine artifacts and annihilate gods. This was a true spear of god-slaying.
As the divine javelin expanded before her, its terrifying power piercing through her entire divine armor and shaking the goddess's soul, Athena felt as if her spirit were a candle flickering in a fierce wind, on the verge of being extinguished.
Fear is also a kind of power. In her extreme terror, Athena, the goddess of wisdom and war, forgot that she was bound by the earth's power, and let out a very feminine scream. With power bursting forth from who knows where, Athena raised the Shield of Justice, hailed as the strongest defensive artifact on Mount Olympus, before her. The Shield of Justice, shimmering like a star, met Gaia's incredibly powerful divine javelin head-on. Instantly, a terrifying explosion resounded, and the terrifying divine power released by Gaia's divine javelin enveloped half the sky. Dozens of gods and giants were blown into the air, and the area within several miles was completely empty.
A massive rift appeared on Mount Olympus. Even the sacred Mount Olympus could not withstand the boundless divine power of Gaia, the Earth Mother. Within that rift, the figure of Athena, the goddess of wisdom and war, swayed precariously. The Athena armor covering her entire body was completely shattered. The legendary, indestructible Shield of Justice was reduced to a handle held in Athena's hand. The Statue of Victory had reverted to its original form, with the wings behind Victory completely broken off. The entire statue of Victory was incomplete and dilapidated.
Spitting out a mouthful of blood, Athena, the once invincible goddess of wisdom, collapsed to the ground. Gaia's attack had been so powerful that if the two divine artifacts hadn't fought back with all their might, Athena herself would likely have been reduced to nothingness.
"As expected of the Shield of Justice, forged by the Father of Heaven, it actually managed to block my first attack. But can it block my second?"
Gaia sneered, and another enormous yellow javelin appeared in her hand. This yellow divine javelin seemed to contain Gaia's rage; its immense divine power was more than twice as strong as the previous attack.
The divine javelin locked onto Athena, and not a single one of the Greek gods of Olympus dared to step forward to her rescue.
"Gaia..."
Aphrodite, the moon goddess closest to Athena, roared, drawing back her divine weapon, the Moon Goddess Bow, with all her might. An arrow, like a gathering of full moonlight, appeared on the bow. Unlike before, a thin golden line faintly appeared at the center of this arrow.
"Sister, no..."
Aphrodite had never witnessed the terror of Gaia, the Earth Mother. Apollo, the sun god, knew all too well that not only could his Moon Goddess Bow not harm Gaia, but even the hammer of Ares couldn't hurt her in the slightest. If Gaia was angered, his sister, Aphrodite, would be the next to face her divine javelin. Apollo rushed forward, attempting to stop his sister's impulsive act.
"Die..."
Ignoring the moon goddess's arrow aimed at her, Gaia unleashed her incredibly powerful divine javelin at Athena, the goddess of wisdom. The immense divine power instantly enveloped Athena. The powerful divine javelin pierced a bottomless crater in Mount Olympus.
"Gaia..."
Seeing her beloved sister, the goddess of wisdom Athena, annihilated by the earth goddess Gaia, the enraged moon goddess unleashed her divine arrows. The moon goddess, also the goddess of the hunt and the goddess of archery, had no way to escape her arrows except by blocking them head-on; these divine arrows would relentlessly pursue their target to the ends of the earth.
"Seeking death..."
Someone actually dared to challenge the majesty of her, the Mother of Gods. A murderous aura flashed before Gaia's eyes, and a third divine javelin suddenly appeared in her hand. This divine javelin was not fired, but instead blocked the divine arrow shot by the Moon Goddess. How could the Moon Goddess's divine power contend with Gaia's? The moment the arrow and the javelin made contact, the Moon Goddess's divine arrow immediately vanished into nothingness. When no one saw it anymore, the golden thread contained within the divine arrow merged into the javelin in Gaia's hand. Gaia immediately felt that thread of divine power, exactly the same as the divine power that had just increased within her body, flow into her body through the javelin.
"The power of the sun god..."
Seeing his sister had gone all out and angered Gaia, the mother of the gods, Apollo, the sun god, roared. His sun chariot, radiating dazzling light, hurtled towards Gaia. At the same time, Aphrodite, the moon goddess, was thrown out by a tremendous force emanating from Apollo's sun chariot, which flew uncontrollably towards the horizon.
"Disappear forever..."
Facing Apollo's desperate attack, Gaia sneered. Her third divine javelin met Apollo's sun chariot head-on. The supposedly indestructible sun fire on the chariot instantly dimmed to its lowest point. As the javelin approached, the sun fire on the chariot was completely extinguished. Apollo felt his divine power spiraling out of control, the boundless divine might emanating from Gaia's javelin locking onto him. His divine chariot, the sun chariot, was beginning to crumble.
"We can't defeat them, let's go..."
The Egyptian sun god, who had been conserving his strength since the start of the battle, saw Apollo, along with his legendary chariot, about to be destroyed by Gaia, which didn't align with his plans. With a roar, a blinding light flashed from the Book of the Sun. A mysterious miniature sun appeared between Apollo's chariot and Gaia's javelin. Although it looked exactly like the real sun, it was utterly powerless against Gaia's javelin. A light a million times brighter than the sun shone forth, and the miniature sun exploded the instant it was destroyed by the javelin. The explosion instantly blinded all the gods and even the most powerful beings. When Gaia regained her sight, all the Greek and Egyptian gods, except for the giants loyal to her, had vanished. The servants who had followed their gods to challenge the giants and Gaia looked around in terror. Why would the omnipotent god abandon his servants at this moment?
"Despicable gods..."
The giants roared as they saw the Olympian gods abandon their servants and flee, disregarding their divine dignity.
